Eclipse was a rather nice hellhound and she was pulling out some champagne for herself. Two bottles as a matter of fact, telling Cody that she loved booze so much. She gave a tall glass to her boyfriend, then to Loona. For Cody, since he can't really drink alcohol, she gave him ice cold apple juice.

"Wait a minute!" said Eclipse. "I think i saw you on TV a week ago. Did i?"

Cody, at first, didn't know what she was talking about, but it came back to him instantly. "Oh! where i was performing the bongos for Octavia in that nightclub?" he asked. "Uh-huh. That was me."

"You were very good at the bongos, sweetie." Eclipse said. "And i thought you looked cute in that outfit that night. I mean, i wasn't there personally, but i saw it on the news."

Cody blushed and said: "Thank you."

"Don't you have any other family to help you?" asked Eclipse to Cody. "I mean, it's a good idea that you're living with Loona, I just don't you to get hurt by any demons that might want to hurt you."

"Don't you worry about that." Loona said. "Cody is in good hands with me. I'm in an assassin company with a really embarrassing dad who adopted me when I was almost eighteen. I'm good with weapons and I can easily maul enemies with my bare hands, and rip their hearts. And I promise I will make it extremely bloody. If anyone tries to hurt or attack Cody, they will just have to go through me."

Eclipse smiled and said: "I really like how you care about him, Loona. Ever thought about being a mother?"

Loona's eyes widened as she chocked on her champagne. She then coughed some of it on the floor and did a few more coughing with some tears in her eyes. "Are you... hack! fucking crazy?" she drank a glass of water to help with her throat and clear it up. "I would be a terrible mother. Come on, what kind of a mother would i be? someone who has syphilis or loves alcohol too much?"

"Sorry, i was just asking."

"Besides, it's way too early to think about that right. I mean, i doubt any guy would be interested in me and having a kid with me anyway."

"Don't be so hard on yourself, girl." said Vortex encouragingly. "You'll find love one day."

"If you only knew." Loona thought.

Eclipse looked at Cody and said: "So Cody, you wanna come to my party in three days? it's going to be fun."

"Whoa whoa whoa, i don't think that sounds like a good idea, E." said Vortex. "The parties you have can be a little rough. Remember what happened last week when Adewale threw an another beer bottle at Gus? An all-out fight ensued."

"Cody could get hurt in those kind of parties."

"And some of the hellhounds might eat me if I'm not careful." Cody added. "I've never drank alcohol because I'm a kid and, all, but my uncle Buzz and aunt Pearl used to be drunk all the time. They were angry more than they should and they would just do stupid things. Drunk Hellhounds might be worse. No offense."

The three Hellhounds made a small laugh. None taken." said Eclipse. "I understand. I admit, some of my parties can be a little... a lot. But haven't you made friends here?"

"Oh yeah. Crystal and Serena."

"Nice!" said Eclipse. That is quite a start. I know them very well."

"And i know Stolas and Octavia." Cody added.

"Whoa whoa whoa, the rulers of the Wrath ring?"

"IMP has a... complicated relationship with that owl dude. Blitzo made him happy and Stolas fell in love with him."

"That explains a lot." said Eclipse. "What about Princess Stella, his wife?"

"Let's just say that she kidnapped Cody to use him to get revenge on Stolas for cheating on her, and... she..."

"Signed her own death warrant?" Cody said

The three Hellhounds laughed again. "Exactly." Tex chuckled. "You are just so funny, Cody." he ruffled jis brown hair.

Eclipse noted: "That sounds a lot to take in."

"It is." Cody said. "It really is. But... it can be fun. I mean, It can get boring on Earth where there's no supernatural things happening."

"Good point." said Loona. "I really agree with you on there."

"What's the point of living if there's nothing exciting in life?" Cody added

"You're speaking my language, kiddo." Tex commended him.

"Thanks Tex. So Loona, i'm ok if you go to that party. Blitzo can take care of me."

"I don't know. remember how drunk he looked the other day?"

"Good point." Cody thought. "What about Moxxie and Millie? They don't have any kids."

"Nah, they're too dull." Loona said. "What you need is to be with someone cool."

"Like Octavia?"

"Exactly!" said Loona. "Last thing you want to see is them making out all night or writing sappy love songs to each other. Trust me, that gets old really quick."

Cody laughed and said: "I don't know if they're that bad."

"take it from me... and Blitzo since he likes to spy on them outside of work. Especially what they do at midnight."

"What do they do?" asked Cody curiously.

Loona blushed and looked embarrassed like she gave the kid too much information. "You'll... see when you're older. You don't want to know right now, trust me. But, i can say this:" she took another sip of her champagne before continuing: "They have a really good time."

"That makes sense." said Tex. "They are married and they love each other more than anything in Hell."

"But what of Octavia isn't there, or Stolas?" Cody asked

"Don't worry, we'll figure something out." said Loona.

"OK."

The kid and Loona were in the human world eating at the diner. Dave and Selma were happy to see them both again and they both had some sandwiches for themselves to munch on.

Loona and Cody also had some lemonade and a brownie as a side. The food was really good here, and Dave said: "hope y'all are enjoying your lunch."

"We are, Dave." said Cody. "Thanks.

Something was disturbing Loona's stomach and she thought: "Oh fuck. what did I fucking eat in this tuna sandwich?" to Cody she said: "I'll be right back, Cody. There's something loose in me."

"OK. I'll wait." Cody smiled.

Loona clenched at her tummy as she felt more unnatural sensations in her. She was probably going to have the squits for sure. Nonetheless, she wanted to get out of there as quick as possible so Cody would remain safe with her.

While waiting at the booth, two humans entered the diner and looked rather suspicious. One was male and another was female. Matching suits and sunglasses, they looked like they were in league with the FBI or the CIA.

"OK, 2." said the male. "What do ya wanna get?"

"Just a small salad." answered the female agent in a Brooklyn accent.

"And i'll have some ribs if they have any." the male also had a Brooklyn accent.

They ordered their food and as they waited for their food to arrive, they noticed Cody looking at his phone and playing games, then he looked at his parents' locket from his right pocket

"Hey, look at that kid over there." said the male agent

"Odd. Where are his parents Agent 1?" asked the female.

"Hmm. It is odd. But maybe he can help us with something."

"Good idea. Let's go talk to him. Come on." Both agents did just that and sat in the booth.

"Uh, hello." Cody looked a little uncomfortable as he put his phone and locket away.

"Hello. Sorry to bother you, kid." said the male agent.

"Where are your parents?"

"Well, my... sister is... getting something from her car. She'll be right back." Cody lied.

"I see." said the female agent.

"Who are you and what dou want from me?" Cody asked. "I'm not really supposed to talk to strangers anyway."

"Ah, sounds like your parents treat you well." said the male. "Look, we just have a few questions for you."

"Very simple ones." the female added. "And as for our names: we are part of an organization called D.H.O.R.K.S with an H in front of the D."

Cody couldn't help but snicker at that name. It did sound rather ridiculous. "That's so funny."

"Oh why does everyone do that?" said the first agent in irritation. "I know, i know, the abbreviations sound funny, but the name is short for-"

"That's not important right now, agent One."

"Right. Sorry Agent Two." the male cleared his throat and said: "We represent a professional organization of Demon hunters. When a demon terorrizes someone, we always answer the call."

Cody became a little frightened on the inside. Loona is a demon and this could mean trouble if she comes out. "Demon hunters? Are you with the government?"

"Well... no." said the female. "But we try our best to get occupations for positions in the government."

"We're looking for some demons that are on the loose in our world." the male said. "Oh. Right, i forgot to tell you our names. Just call me Agent One."

"And I'm Agent Two." they both reached out their hands for a handshake and Cody reluctantly did just that.

"Nice to meet you, i guess. So you're looking for demons?"

"That we are, kid." said the female. "He're some footage of them attacking our kwn headquarters and maybe you might know any answers."

"But i'm just a kid." Cody said. "Maybe i should just go."

"Wait a minute, wait a minute, sorry if we're making you uncomfortable." said Agent One. "We'll show you the picture."

"Here." Agent Two pulled out the video and picture evidence of the attack. What Cody saw him made his heart sank to his feet like an anvil. These demons were his new friends that he made. On one hand, he was impressed by how Moxxie, Millie, Blitzo, Loona, and Stolas were fighting against these demon hunters.

On the other hand: this could mean trouble for him and his acquaintances. "So have you seen them?" asked the first agent

"Nope. I mean, that looks scary. But... i think this might look edited."

Loona came out of the bathroom and was shocked to see those two bozos again. "Oh, no, no, no!" she said under her breath. "What the fuck are these cunts doing here? Oh no, Cody!"

"Edited?" said the female agent. "Come on! how can this be edited? you see the blood spilling from where the arms used to be?" she gained her composure. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I lost my cool for a second, sweetie.:

"It sounded like you were interrogating me."

"No, no, no, of course not." said Agent One. "This is no interrogation at all. We just wanted to know if you knew anything. We're not police... to humans anyway."

"Well, I haven't seen them." Cody lied. "I have never seen them in my life."

"Are you sweating?" asked Agent Two.

"Nope. I'm just fine."

"You look like you're about to have a, aneurysm for your age." said Agent One.

"Can I buy you a drink or an ice cream?" Agent Two offer.

"Everything ok here, Cody?" Dave stepped up. "Are you giving you a hard time?"

"No. I'm ok."

"You know, I have the right to refuse service to anyone scaring my customers." Dave warned the two agents.

"We're not trying to scare him sir." said Agent One. "This is D.H.O.R.K business."

"he doesn't know anything, One. Come on. Let's just see if more people know about it... right after we eat our food."

"Yeah, we can't search for demons on an empty stomach."

The two agents did just that and exited the booth, and they, luckily, haven't spotted Loona, for they have seen her human disguise.

"Sorry about that, Cody." said Dave. "If they give you any more trouble, I'll call the police."

"I'll be fine, Dave."

Loona came back and said. "I know who those guys are."

"You do?" said Dave.

"A couple of retards from the planet insane." Loona said. "Let's just take our food to go, Dave."

"Are you sure?"

"Yep. Don't want those guys to make Cody any more uncomfortable than he already should."

"Yeah, that's for the best." Dave sighed. "Let me get you a bag." After doing just that, Cody and Loona ran off to the outskirts of town and got back to Hell with the book.

"Are you sure you're ok?" Loona said, turning into her human form.

"Yep. But we should just stay away from those guys, Loona."

"You read my mind, Cody."
