I really don't know where I went with this, and since a canon nyotalia Netherlands was never designed I'm basing her appearance off of fanart I've seen, read at your own risk
Merel is Netherlands and Victoria is England/Britain. Merel was recommended to me by the same Dutch friend I'm torturing by writing these fic and Victoria because of Queen Victoria.
"Give me back my bra!" Merel screamed out of embarrassment, chasing Victoria dressed in only a towel.
"Nonsense! This dinky thing is so old!" Victoria protested, running into a room and locking it, ignoring the other woman's yelling as she examined the old, fading bra. Yes, she loved her girlfriend, but sometimes her money oriented ideas were frankly odd, for example undergarments. Sure, no one would see them, but after years of them dating and never seeing a new bra in Merel's wardrobe, Victoria was just about ready to drag her to go buy some new ones.
"Open the door already! I need to get dressed, you know?" Merel huffed, knocking on the door
"Only if you agree to go get some new ones." Victoria says before unlocking the door and handing the taller woman the bra.
A few days later Victoria drags Merel into a clothing store, and heads straight for the women's section.
"Darling I told you already, these things are ridiculously expensive."
"Well we don't agree on 'ridiculously expensive' constitutes, so you don't have any say." Victoria chastised before letting go of Merel's hand to let her shop on her own. Around fifteen minutes later she comes back with an assortment of bras, handing them over to Victoria.
"So you like these ones huh? Quite nice if I do say so myself.." she compliments before looking at the price tag "What in bloody hell is this?!"
"..the price." Merel stated flatly, giving Victoria a 'I told you so' look.
"I've never seen anything so expensive!" She continues on, dragging Merel over to the section where she would usually buy her own "See? Mine are nearly half the price!?"
"I.. I don't know how to put this nicely darling, but, it's because you're.. flat." Merel mutters, ready to run away at any moment.
"Okay! Okay! There's no other way to put it, I understand, now let's go!" Victoria huffs, handing the selection over to a poor saleswoman and once again dragging Merel out of the store, face red.
