Chapter 10: Con Job

Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers Prime. Hasbro does. The only thing I own is my OC

The Autobot Base

It was a peaceful day in the Autobot base. The kids were helping Team Prime clean up the mess and repair the damages since the Scraplet incident. Right now, Blue Jacket was stacking the metal boxes on the wall, while Leo Fowler was sweeping up the used, scraped metal pieces off the floor.

"There, all done." Leo said, finishing sweeping up the mess.

"Same here," Blue Jacket said, placing the last of the metal boxes on the wall. "Want to go for a few donuts?"

"I would, but I'm about to listen to some music."

That was when the main computer was beeping. The Autobot medic was the first to notice it and informed Optimus and the others.

"Optimus, I'm receiving signals on a restricted band," The medic notified, turning his helm around to face his leader. "It appears to coming from one star-ship inside this solar system and another one on Earth," He typed a few commands into the keyboard to gain some better understanding on the ships. He almost gasped when the results came in, "They're Autobot identification beacons".

Jack turned his attention from the monitors to the Autobots, "there are other 'Bots out there?"

Leo then looked at Blue Jacket. "I thought you guys were the only ones."

"We didn't always start off as seven, I-I mean, six!" BJ correcting himself since Arcee was walking towards the computer. She probably heard what he said, but she knew that he didn't mean to mention Cliffjumper like that, which was why she placed her hand on his shoulder.

"There were hundreds scattered across the galaxy when Cybertron finally went dark," Arcee answered. Then her expression grew more serious. "But…'Cons have been known to bait traps with false beacons".

Hearing that fact, Optimus turned his gaze back to the screens. "Unknown vessels, this is Autobot Outpost Omega-1, identify yourselves."

For a second, there nothing but static, until a male voice replied, "I've had warmer welcomes from Decepticon combat brigades."

Suddenly, after hearing that voice, Bulkhead's optics widened as his demeanor became more elated.

"Wheeljack?!" The green Wrecker laughed a bit as he stepped closer to the monitors. "You old 'Con crusher! What are you doing all the way out here?"

"Bulkhead? Is that you?" The bot known as Wheeljack asked. "What's with all the security?"

"The rock we're on is crawling with 'Cons. How soon can you get here and even the odds?" inquired Bulkhead.

"Sometime tomorrow, if I put metal to the pedal," Wheeljack replied. "I heard that I'm not only one coming here, considering that an old friend is already there."

"Friend? What friend?" Bulkhead asked.

That was when a female voice answered his question. "The same friend who fought against a one-eye con with her brother and some old friends of her own."

Blue and Cee instantly knew who it was. "I-Is that-?" Arcee was about to say until Blue went in front of her.

"Blowout?!" The blue scout/warrior laughed and came closer to the monitors. "You amazing fighting gal! It's been awhile."

"B-126? Is it really you?!" The femme known as Blowout asked. "It's been a long time, Big Blue. How's Arcee?"

"Doing fine!" Arcee said, getting BJ out of her way while giving him a stern look. She then looked back at the screen "How did you made it out of Cybertron alive on your own?"

"After you three went through the Space-Bridge, I stayed behind and found a ship to use on my own. After many twirls, twists and turns, I found a shortcut and landed on this place. I've been here since last week."

"Two new bots coming here," Miko said, How cool is that?!"

"Very Cool!" Leo agreed.

"Blowout and Wheeljack," Optimus said, recalling what info he possessed of the well-known Wrecker and Elite Guard. "I know them from reputation only," He looked to Bulkhead and Blue Jacket. "Can you verify their voice-prints?"

"They're 1,000,000% the real deal, Optimus!" Blue said with a smile. He then looked back at the monitor. "I can't wait to see you, Blowout! Where are you right now?"

"I'm at an abandoned junkyard," She answered, "I'm just hiding out for awhile."

"Good thinking," Arcee said, "The 'Cons won't know what hit 'em."

The Autobot leader nodded before turning back to the monitors. "We will send landing coordinates, Wheeljack. Safe journeys. Blowout, be safe."

"I will, Optimus."

"See ya soon guys! I'll make sure you two get a proper welcome" Bulkhead added before the transmission was shut off.

Arcee stepped toward Bulkhead and asked in a teasing matter, "So who's your boyfriend?"

"Ha-ha, me and Jacky go way back. We were part of the same war unit, the Wreckers!" Bulkhead responded, smashing his fist together for emphasis. "Which means the 'Cons are gonna wish he never found us!"

Bumblebee also looked at his twin. "Who's Blowout?"

"Blowout was one of the Autobots who saved me from the decepticons back on Cybertron! Fun fact, she's also Cliffjumper's sister, meaning the 'cons are gonna be scrapped by the time she's done with them!"

Arcee smirked at the statement. "You and I are in total agreement. Blowout was one of the best fighters I knew on my old group: The Female Autobots. They were led by Elita-One herself."

"Let's head to Blowout's location." BJ suggested, about to go until Optimus got in front of him.

"Blue Jacket, I'm afraid we must wait for the moment." He said, "While it is true that Blowout is on earth in a unknown, undetected location, the Decepticons may be tracking her movement. It may be best if we wait for the right time to retrieve her."

"I understand, Prime."

Blue Jacket really wanted to see Blowout. It has been awhile since the War for Cybertron. However, Prime is right about one thing, they had to be careful if the team were going to do something reckless.

The Next Day at the Autobot Base

The Autobots and the human kids were gathered in the main ops center, watching the monitor that portrayed Wheeljack's ship approaching the landing coordinates the 'Bots provided him.

"Wheeljack's ship is approaching the landing zone" Arcee noted.

"Hmm, I don't see Blowout's signal though." Blue stated.

"You think they're here to visit?" asked Leo Fowler.

"Maybe they'll stay," Miko implied. "Hmm… they'll have to find their own partners though"

Their attention was grabbed by Ratchet as he typed onto the ground-bridge terminal. "Ground Bridge cycling up." The control switch suddenly flickered with electricity, he pounded it to get it working "Blasted Scraplets! The equipment hasn't been the same since the infestation."

"So, Wheeljack's gonna land halfway around the world and then you'll bridge him here?" Jack asked.

Optimus approached him, "We can't risk revealing the location of our base just in case the Decepticons are tracking Wheeljack's ship," the prime explained.

Miko walked near bulkhead, "Dude, I've never seen you so stoked!"

"Oh, you're gonna love Wheeljack," Bulkhead told her, "We were like brothers. And tonight we are gonna party!"

"Sweet!" Miko said.

That was when the computer started beeping. "Blowout is closing in." Arcee stated.

Leo then sees BJ's smile. "I've never seen you this happy in my life. And That's saying something.

"I just can't wait to see her! She was another best friend. A best friend I've never had," He said before turning around once he heard Bulkhead grumble at him. "A-After you, of course, Bulkhead." However, while he was hyped, he didn't noticed Arcee's glare at him. That was when everyone saw Blowout's signal going back. "Wait, why is she going back?"

The computer suddenly started beeping as Decepticons were following Wheeljack's ship, "Bogies closing fast on Wheeljack's position," Arcee said.

"And Blowout is with him!" Blue Jacket said in shock.

"'Con scum!" Bulkhead said.

Outside of the Jasper Desert

The Jackhammer was flying over the Egyptian desert as six jet Vehicons started firing at the ship, a few moments later one of the Vehicons's lasers hit the starship, Causing the jackhammer to crash into the sand of the desert.

The Vehicons approached the wreckage, and transformed, one of them walked towards the ship, with his gun activated, when suddenly the one approaching got shot in the chest. The other Vehicons Aimed their guns at the wrecker.

Wheeljack was white with a bit of red and green on his legs and chest, had small wings with a bit of green on his back. "If you're trying to ruin my day… you're gonna have to try harder," he said before activating his battle mask.

The Vehicons started shooting at him as he ran towards his left, he soon stopped and jumped into the air, pounding the Vehicon in the middle, he then grabbed one and threw him, kicked one behind him in the face, a Vehicon tried to attack him, when he leaped backwards before jumping behind the Vehicon and ripped his arm off before kicking him away, he slapped the Vehicon's arm at another Vehicon a few times before kicking him away, one Vehicon was remaining.

"You cons have gone soft on me," Wheeljack told him, before taking katanas out from his back, charges at him, avoiding the blaster fire, reached him with the Vehicon avoiding the blades.

However, while he was fighting, the vehicons got a lucky hit on him... twice! That was when one of them grabbed him and threw him into the ground. The Decepticon Warship then left, so the others could get away before the Autobots arrived.

The nine remaining Vehicons approached the defeated Wheeljack.

"Scrap..."

Before they could finish him off, one of them got shot in the head by an unknown shooter.

"Huh?"

That was when the unknown shooter appeared and jumped into the air. She then bashed the con into the ground and looked at the others. "Sup, 'Cons..." The purple Autobot said with dread. It was no other than Blowout, the Elite Guard and the sister of Cliffjumper. She looked just like the deceased Cliffjumper, minus the paintjob. Speaking of which, the Vehicons actually thought the autobot they were looking at was Cliffjumper, so they charged at her. Unfortunately for them, this bot was more relaxed, experienced and stronger. One by one, the vehicons were getting crushed.

Wheeljack then got up. "Thanks for the save."

"No problem," The purple fembot said, "Let's finish these jokers off."

Back in HQ, Team Prime were getting ready to assist Wheeljack and Blowout.

"Hey, Ratchet! Hurry up! We're missing all the action!" BJ stated.

Ratchet activates the Ground Bridge, "I'll prepare sick bay."

Bulkhead chuckles. "Who for? The Cons? This is Wheeljack we're talking about.

"Blowout can handle anything."

The four autobots walked through the portal.

The Autobots arrive where Blowout and Wheeljack was, and activated their blasters in case if any Vehicons appear. They then saw Wheeljack stab the con's spark.

"I taught him that." Bulkhead chuckled.

"Yeah... Sure, you did," Blowout sarcastically said, following Wheeljack, "You guys ever that we needed some back-up?"

"And miss the show?" Blue asks in excitement.

"You two miss one."

Blowout then walked up to the con, grabbed its head and crushed it with her bare metal hands. She and Wheeljack then walked up to the autobots.

"If this is all you got, then this planet is more trouble than I thought."

Bulkhead suddenly runs up to his friend and hugs him tight, "Jackie!" He laughs as the three other autobots watched as the wreckers hugged.

Wheeljack laughs as his friend hugged him tightly, "What's to finish, you old wrecking ball?"

Bulkhead wasn't the only one in a hugging mood. Blowout ran up to the two-wheeler and the blue scout and hugged them really hard.

"How's my favorite buds doing?"

Both Arcee and Blue Jacket were gasping for air. The two-wheeler only said one thing... "T-Trying to do better."

Back in the Autobot Base

All four autobots, Wheeljack and Blowout included, walked through the Ground Bridge into the base. Ratchet closes the Ground Bridge with the control switch which suddenly crackled with electricity, the electricity then went into the part of the bridge that a portals appears from and Ratchet groans as it occurred.

"Blowout, Wheeljack, meet our other best friends." Blue Jacket said, pointing at Leo and Miko. "This is Leo Fowler."

"And this is Miko," Bulk added, "They can wreck with the best of us."

"Nice to meet ya, little guy," Blowout said with glee. "Was the little bug causing trouble?"

"No, not really," Leo admitted.

"But trouble finds us anyway." Miko said.

"We're gonna get along just fine," Wheeljack said before looking up to Optimus "Optimus Prime, it's a privilege."

"Likewise, Soldier, Optimus said to the Wrecker, "What have you to report from your long journey?"

"Been bouncing from rock to rock searching for signs of friend or foe," the Wrecker said before looking at Bulkhead for a second before looking back at the Prime, "Now I find both."

Optimus then looked at Blowout. "It has been awhile, Blowout."

"It sure has, Optimus. I haven't seen you ever since I left the Elite Guard Base and joined the Female Autobots... Starting to wish that I'd stayed with Smoke and Big T."

"Who's Smoke?" Bulkhead asked.

"And who's Big T?" Bee asked as well.

"Long story... N-Nevermind."

"Blowout, I have to ask," Blue said, walking towards her, "How did you survive Cybertron?"

"And end up on Earth without us or the Decepticons detecting your ship or your life signal?" Arcee asked, wanting to know as well.

"Looks like I got some explaining to do, huh. Welp, here it goes," Blowout started before she begin her story. "After I left the Elite Guard base, I went and helped the Female Autobots, the same group Arcee used to be on before she joined the Delta Team...So it was kind of a temporary membership since I joined their group temporarily... "

Flashback

"Elita-One, Chromia, Flareup, Moonracer, Greenlight, Firestar, Nautica, Lancer, Arcee and I were handling the 'Cons while Smoke was guarding Big T and the base. However, things went downhill fast since the decepticon attack... Arcee joined the Delta Team, Moonracer joined the Wreckers, Elita-One disappeared, Chromia went to the underground city on Cybertron, and I was alone after Big T and Smoke disappeared after the Elite Guard Base was gone. I don't know what happened to the others, but i figured that they're either went to hiding, got off of Cybertron, or got themselves offline. However, despite that, I was able to save Big Blue before that Decepticon Hunter could scrap him. After that, I was on my own on Cybertron for a few moon-cycles ever since The Ark left. But for some good reason, I bumped into my brother again. I thought he already left in the Ark, along with his old partner Jazz, but I was fragging happy that he was here.

Of course, we had to get captured by the 'Cons... And Starscream, the so-called Emperor of Destruction, wanted info, which was why he brought up Blue Jacket and Arcee. Luckily, we were able to give them a slip and went through the Space-Ground-Bridge...Well, the three of them went in. I decided to stay here to see if I could find anything useful. Good thing that I had... I was able to find one of Trion's old ships that he used to have during his days. I flew it out of our old home. It took 1 year to get the the Planet Earth, but I made it."

End of Flashback

"What a shock, huh?" Blowout said, ending the story. "I see that you got yourself quite the pack, Optimus."

"We are few, but strong," Optimus told her, "We have suffered losses," he added looking at Jack and Raf, "but we have grown. And we would relish welcoming new members into our fold."

"Of course."

"I would be honored."

"Then let's get this party started!" BJ exclaimed in happiness as he and Blowout high-fived each other.

30 minutes later

Miko was playing with her guitar, while Bulkhead and Wheeljack were playing with a big metal ball. Arcee, Bumblebee, Leo, Raf and Jack were watching. However, Blue Jacket and Blowout were nowhere to be seen.

Leo, who was sitting on the ledge along with Jack, asked Arcee something. "What are they doing?"

"It's called Lobbing. The favorite pastime on Cybertron, especially among the warrior class." Acee answered.

"Oh, so it's like dodge-ball or basketball, but the cybertron-version."

"Umm.. Y-yeah. S-Something like that."

"Have you played it before?"

"FRAG NO!"

This immediately shut Leo Fowler up. "Yeesh, just asking." That was when he was watching Raf and Bumblebee do 'the robot' while Miko was playing with her guitar. However, he hasn't seen BJ and BW. "Has anyone seen Blue Jacket and Blowout?"

"They're at the top...talking to each other..." Arcee said, with an edge in her tone. Of course, Jack noticed.

"You okay, 'Cee?"

"I-I'm fine." The two-wheeler said, walking off to another place. Jack then notices that Optimus was absent. "Where's Optimus?"

"Went out for a drive," Arcee answered, before continuing to walk away, "Primes don't party."

Leo noticed that Arcee was in a bad mood for some reason, so he decided to follow her... Quietly and carefully so Arcee doesn't see him.

At the Hallway

The two-wheeler was looking at the hologram-picture of her old team, the fembots. She had a tearful smile on her face. She truly hope that all of them, or, at least, some of them survived. That was when she heard someone behind her... And she knew who it was.

"Come on out, Leo," Arcee said, "I know it's you."

The 15 year old boy came out of his hiding spot. "S-Sorry for walking into your business."

"It's fine..." She then lowered herself down. "You know, I miss a lot of my friends ever since Cybertron went dark... I truly wish that I can keep my friends safe on Earth."

"Arcee, you'll be fine." Leo said, before he got into something else. "Arcee, I have to ask you something."

"Yeah?"

Before he could though, that was when they heard Bulkhead and Wheeljack telling stories. Curious, they decided to go back to the main room.

Main Room

"So there we were, no communications, low on energon, surrounded by Cons." He turns around towards the humans, "So what does Wheeljack do?" He laughs, "Tell them, Jackie."

"Ummm... What I do best." He said. Luckily, Bulkhead expected him to say that.

"He chucks his only grenade smack into the primary heat exchanger."

"Yeah, seemed like a good Idea, at the time."

"The joint went supernova!" Bulkhead added.

"Awesome!" Miko said.

"Cool!" Leo said, agreeing with Miko.

"Yeah, I'm still picking shrapnel out of my backside," Bulkhead went on.

"I'm not surprised given the size of your backside," Arcee said with liveliness.

Bumblebee chuckles at that statement, "Nice, Arcee."

Wheeljack's turned his gaze to the groundbridge terminal, where Ratchet was still running a defragmenting program. His eyes narrowed in contempt manner.

"So, there we are, one grenade, one shot…"Bulkhead paused as he glanced up at his friend. He notices the seemingly annoyed expression on his facial plate, and is confused by this. "Hey, you okay?"

"Huh?"

"You don't seem like yourself" The green Autobot replied.

"What do you mean?" Wheeljack probed, inwardly growing worried.

"I don't know… you just seem… quiet."

"I…ugh…I've been stuck in a can too long. I should go topside before I go crazy"

"I got patrol in the morning, you could come with?" offered Bulkhead.

"Well let's go now".

"And break up the party? Come on Jackie the gang is loving you. You gotta tell them about the Battle of Dark Mount Pass." Bulkhead implored gleefully.

"You tell them." He turned to look at Leo and Miko, "provided your friend Miko and her boyfriend here shows me the rest of your base,"

Both of the 15-year olds looked at Wheeljack with an embarrassed look.

"He's not my boyfriend!"

"But, Bulk wouldn't mind Miko showing you around, right bulk?" Leo asked.

"Well… uh… sure Jacky, go ahead." Bulkhead responded.

As the duo strolled down the hallway, the rest of the team immediately noticed the concerned look on Bulkhead's mien.

"You okay?" asked Arcee.

"Yeah… just… out of stories, I guess." Bulkhead muttered.

"Dude, don't tell me you're jealous. Jack smirked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"That Miko's making a new friend? Come on!" The green Autobot then turned his gaze back to the main passageway, narrowing his optics. "It's just… something's not quite right about Wheeljack."

"Bulkhead, he's traveled across the galaxy, alone for years. He could be rocket lagged or… well… 'Bots do change you know." Arcee implied.

"Not Jacky," Bulkhead retorted, still not convinced.

Leo understood what Bulk was saying. "Hmm, speaking of jealousy, Arcee, are you okay?"

Arcee narrowed her optics at the 'almost annoying' teenager. "I'm fine, Leo!"

"Really? Ever since Blowout and Wheeljack got here, you were giving BJ 'the look' once he started getting hype about her. You were even more jelly when they started hanging out."

The two-wheeler had to admit, Leo had some solid points about that. To be fair, Blue Jacket never was hype to reunite with her back when they were on Cybertron, but he was really hype to see Blowout again.

"Leo! Here's the thing... I'm not the 'jelly' type. Maybe it's the grief talking, maybe I am jealous! Whatever it is, I-I just don't want Blue getting hurt, that's all. I'd known him for a long time, yet he seems to enjoy Blowout's company more than me."

Bulk, Bee, Jack and Leo were shocked hearing what Arcee just said. Sure, Blue was happy to reunite with Blowout again, but what Arcee said isn't true...At least some of it.

"Arcee, you know that's not true," Bulk tried to convince her. "Remember he once gave you an energon flower?"

"Or the time you and him were racing, alongside Cliffjumper? Or another time, where Blue Jacket once saved your spark when you once fell off the base?" Bee reminded her.

Arcee blushed, remembering those times. "I remember, although, technically, I fell on him after that."

"Wait, what?!" Both Leo and Jack were shocked hearing this.

"I-It's a long story that I feel embarrassed to talk about."

At the Top of the Autobot HQ

Blue Jacket and Blowout were talking about the good times on Cybertron and how things were going on Earth.

"It's very good to see you, Blue Jacket," BW stated, "Last time I saw you, you were orange."

"Heh, heh. Yeah." Blue chuckled while blushing. "How about you? You're looking great, last time I saw you."

"Well, I've made making myself at home, if you know what I mean. I've been working on my resources, checking for any autobot or decepticon signals... I've been lonely.

"I did ask if you wanted to join Cliff, Cee and I once we were getting to Earth."

"I know, but I felt like I was needed on Cybertron... Even though it's already in ruins." She admitted in a sad tone, until she cheered herself. "At least I got to see you and Arcee. Where's my bro, Cliffy? It's not like him to disappear."

Blue Jacket gulped, while trying to find the right words to say. "H-H-He's... In a better place."

Blowout could see the sadness in his optics and gave him a hug. "I should've known... Cliffjumper and I do share a split spark. I felt that he was gone."

"C-Cliffjumper's death is my fault," Blue Jacket admitted, "I got to his location and helped him fight off the Cons, but I was knocked out during the battle... I-If I was strong enough, he would still be alive."

"Blue Jacket, I don't blame you for my brother's death." Blowout assured him. "The Decepticons are the blame... Or one of them is. And I'm going to make the dirty con pay... Personally."

Blue Jacket gulped once he heard the dread and venom in her voice. Of course, Blowout wasn't trying to scare him. Once again, she gave him a hug.

"You know... I got an intermission message from Cliff before he died."

"D-Did you read it?"

"No, not yet. I decided to leave it close for now," She said before she thought of something, "Can I have some private time with Cliffjumper for a minute?"

Blue Jacket nodded in understanding and left to give Blowout some alone time. Once Blue Jacket left, Blowout opened her hologram pictures of her late brother and her friends.

Back in the Autobot Base

Inside the main ops center, Ratchet was still busy working on the groundbridge terminal. The monitor showed that the defrag program was nearly complete and only required a few more minutes.

"Almost there," noted Ratchet as he continued typing.

Meanwhile, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Arcee were discussing about Wheeljack's strange behaviour, Jack and Leo listened in and occasionally added their input.

"Look I know Wheeljack better than anyone" Bulkhead said.

"I know Blowout as well."

"Sup, guys?"

Everyone turned their heads to the main corridor to see Blue Jacket coming out of the huge elevator and walking towards them. He was soon followed by Blowout.

"What are you guys talking about?"

"I was just talking about your relationship with Blowout" Arcee stated. However, this made Blue a bit mad and embarrassed.

"Blowout and I aren't dating! We're just friends!"

"Really? You were so hype that Blowout was back!"

"She's one of my best friends, what would you think."

"Are you sure she's really blowout?!"

Blue Jacket couldn't believe that Arcee was accusing something.

"Are you saying that Cliffjumper's sister is a spy for the cons?! What the heck?! Cliff would be disappointed if he was alive to hear that!"

While he didn't mean to mention Cliff like that, Blowout and Arcee didn't like what they just heard.

"Leave Cliffjumper out of this!" The two-wheeler and the purple fembot scream at him before they looked back at each other.

"Blue Jacket, I'm only trying to protect you from this...glitch."

"I am the real Blowout, Arcee."

Arcee, however, wasn't convinced. "Prove it then! What is one thing the real Blowout would know about me?"

That was when Blowout smirked as she was about to reveal one of Arcee's personal secrets."

"I know that you were pink back on Cybertron, and that you and Cliffjumper were dating."

Leo and Jack laughed, while the other bots started pointing at Arcee's blushed face.

"I told you that it was a secret and to keep it as a secret!" Arcee screamed in embarrassment.

BJ was shocked. "You were pink back on Cybertron?! I thought you were Elita-One a moment ago."

Before the two-wheeler could say anything else, Wheeljack and Miko came back from checking out the rest of the base and walked to the group.

"Hey guys." Wheeljack said.

"What are you guys talking about?" Miko asked, wanting to know.

Everyone kept quiet, not wanting to anget Arcee or reveal about her personal secret.

"Um...We were talking about.." BJ was about to say until Bulkhead beat him to the punch.

"Oh nothing," resumed Bulkhead. "I was just telling the guys about you and me, and the Battle of Dark Mount Pass."

"That's a heck of a story." Wheeljack stated.

"Uh huh, tell it!" Bulkhead narrowed his optics.

"Blah, blah, blah talk, talk, talk… how about we tell more stories after we go off-roading or something?" offered Miko.

The green wrecker held up his large servo in a 'be quiet' matter. "Miko, stay out of this!"

"Bulk… easy," Arcee scolded.

"Yeah, let's not cause some drama here." BJ advised until he shut himself up when Arcee and Blowout gave him a look.

"I'm not sure that I…"

"Tell it!" Bulkhead interjected.

Fine, you want to live in the past, Bulkhead, fine." Everyone gathered around to hear the story Wheeljack was about to tell. "The Wreckers were trapped between the Decepticon patrols and the smouldering pits. The 'Cons were vicious, barring down on us with everything they had. Me and Bulkhead engaged the enemy and left them for scrap, and then I made us a way out by using their backsides as stepping stones to cross the molten metal. Isn't that how it happened?"

"Yeah that's exactly how it happened," Bulkhead replied, prompting Wheeljack to grin. "Except for one little thing," Wheeljack's grin immediately disappeared as his blue optics opened wide, "I wasn't there".

"What?!" Ratchet asked in shocked.

"But are you a wrecker like Wheeljack is?" Blowout asked.

"I am." Bulkhead insisted. "However, I had already left the Wreckers to join Optimus and Team Prime." He then looked back at 'Wheeljack'. "But you wouldn't know that if you accessed Wheeljack's public service record" Bulkhead added, getting angrier by the second.

"Bulkhead, are you saying th-ACK!" Leo was about to say until he was grabbed by 'Wheeljack'. "HEY! What the heck are you doing?!"

"LEO!" Blue Jacket screamed in shock and fear for Leo's life. "Let him go!"

"Wheeljack, what are you doing?!" Miko asked, not knowing what's happening despite she was in the room listening to the whole story.

"T-That's not WheelJack... It's Makeshift!" Ratchet exclaimed. 'Wheeljack', or better known as Makeshift, laughed.

"For a medic who's done a lot of inventing, you're not as smart as you look." He then gave Blue Jacket a look. "Stay back or the boy dies, you fool!" Makeshift yelled.

Blue growled, knowing he had no choice but to stand by. He couldn't risk Leo getting squeezed to death, but all he needed though was an opening, and then he would attack.

Leo squirmed in his grip, trying to at least pull her arms free but it was in vain. He turned his head to Makeshift and glared at him.

"Let me go!" He demanded but was ignored.

"Decepticon coward, let the boy go and face me!" Bulkhead roared, getting even angrier than he has been in a long time.

"Oh, don't fret… plenty of fighting to come" Makeshift sneered evilly.

"Is there a real Wheeljack?" Jack asked.

"Oh indeed, and I expect that Lord Starscream is making sport of him" rasped Makeshift.

Five minutes later

No one didn't dare go against Makeshift, fearing for Leo's life. That was when Ratchet finally finish fixing the Ground-Bridge.

"About time," Makeshift said, turning on the Ground-Bridge and looked at the Autobots, "Let's get this party started."

The copycat barely had time to respond as a white Cybertronian jumped out of the swirling portal and slammed both feet into his back while in mid-air. The forceful kick sent Makeshift colliding into the side of the concrete platform wall. That also sent Leo flying and Blue Jacket caught him.

He held both katana swords in both servos as he stepped forward. The infamous Wrecker turned to Ratchet who was again standing by the groundbridge controls.

"I'd shut that hole before the stink comes through" Wheeljack recommended.

Once Ratchet did, the Bridge went powered down. However, that didn't mean Makeshift was leaving without a fight. As such, the two wheeljacks started circling each other. Bulkhead and Blowout were about to jump in, until Wheeljack stopped them. "Ugly's all mine."

"W-Which one is the real Wheeljack?"

Leo looked at Jack. "How should I know?! They both look the same!"

Back to the fight, the two Wheeljack's went at each other hard. Both were on the offense and defence, engaging and blocking one another's attack. But after a few swift swords slash combos and a kick to the abdomen, one of the Wheeljack's collapsed to the ground with one standing above him with his blade at his throat. He had been defeated.

"That's my Jacky." Bulkhead smiled, turning towards Bumblebee, Blowout, Blue Jacket and Arcee.

That was when Wheeljack looked at the Autobot Medic. "You, turn on the switch," Ratchet nodded, while Jackie looked at the others, "It's time to take out the trash."

Once Ratchet re-opened the Ground-Bridge, Wheeljack placed a bomb on the unconscious Makeshift then Bulkhead threw the decepticon spy through the bridge and away from their base.

"Hope we don't see ugly again." Blowout stated.

"Don't worry... Bulkhead and I made sure of it."

That was when they heard honking from the tunnel. Optimus drove out of the tunnel, transformed and walked towards the others. "Has everyone made our two guests feel welcomed?"

Everyone looked at the other until Leo broke the silent. "It's a long... Long story..."

"We'll tell you about it later." BJ assured him.

The Next Day

Everyone was celebrating their victory over Makeshift as Miko started playing the Guitar, Bumblebee, Jack and Raf doing 'the robot', and Leo started beatboxing. Arcee and Blowout watched the others with smiles on their faces.

After the celebration, like Blue Jacket assured, the autobots told Optimus everything from Wheeljack and Blowout's arrivals to the wheeljack being the impostor decepticon, Makeshift to finally, the real wheeljack saving their tailpipes. Arcee also admits that she suspected Blowout being a spy for the Decepticons, but she was proven wrong.

Right now, Wheeljack and Blowout were talking to Optimus, Bulkhead and Ratchet.

Ratchet was typing on the terminal but couldn't help but to suppress an annoyed groan.

"It's like a reoccurring nightmare" Ratchet noted, continuing to work at the monitor.

"Now that you and Blowout a part of Team Prime, we need to find you two vehicle modes." Bulkhead complied.

"I already got one." Blowout exclaimed.

"You do?" Leo had a questionable look.

"Yep." She proved it by transforming into a Jeep Gladiator, modeled after a Toyota Hilux. Everyone was shocked seeing this, including Arcee and Blue Jacket. They both suspected that her vehicle mode would be the same as the late Cliffjumper. Blowout then transformed back into her robot mode. "I may look like my brother, but I don't have to look like him in every way."

That was when Wheeljack needed to say something. "Bulk...Now that my ship is repaired, I'm itching to know what else I might find out there."

"Wait!" Miko interrupted. "You're leaving?! Why?"

"Yeah, we need all the help we could get." Leo said in agreement.

Before Wheeljack could say anything in his defense, Bulkhead smiled. "Because," Bulkhead continued, "some 'Bots just never change. Ha-ha,"

Wheeljack smiled, glad that Bulkhead understood his reasons.

"Guys, I'd love to stay here, but I'd better head back to my place," Blowout said, "Don't worry, I'll still be here to help, but I might find other Autobot survivors here on Earth."

BJ, Arcee and the others nodded in understanding. That was when Optimus Prime walked up to them. "Blowout, Wheeljack, know that you two will always have a haven here" Optimus added.

The two simply nodded his head. Bulkhead slapped his hand on his buddy's back and laughed a bit.

"Jacky never stays in one place for too long… but he always comes back."

The two best friends smiled at each other and fist pumped, while Blowout hugged Arcee and BJ.

After that, Wheeljack looked at Blowout. "Moonracer said hi."

Blowout smiled, "If you find her, tell her I said hi back."

Aftermath - At the evening (close at night) in the Autobot Base

Wheeljack took off with his ship, the Jackhammer, and left Planet Earth. However, Blowout decided to stay at the base a bit longer. She told the human kids more about her stories back on Cybertron. Everyone, except for Optimus and Ratchet, were playing the cybertron-version of basketball while Arcee and Blue Jacket were talking and apologizing to each other.

"Sorry that I'd mentioned about Cliffjumper disapproving about you thinking that his sister was a spy." Blue said with regret. However, Arcee smiled a bit while feeling sad as well.

"And I'm sorry for telling to to shut up and accusing Blowout for being a spy for the 'Cons." She said with a sad smile.

The two Autobots hugged each other before walking to Blowout, who finished her stories.

"It was good seeing you two." Blowout admitted with a smile.

"We miss you too, BW." BJ stated. He then looked at the human clock on the wall. "Welp, we'd better take the kids home," He looks at Bulk and Bee who was about to make a shot, "Bulk, Bee, come on. We got to take the kids back to their homes.

Bee and Bulk put the giant metal ball down, walked towards the tunnel and transformed into their vehicle modes. BJ and Arcee does the same. That was when the kids got on to their respective autobot partner and drove off with them.

Ratchet then looked at Optimus. "I'm going to recharge for today." The medic said, walking away.

"Have a good sleep, old friend." Optimus said, before looking at Blowout. He then decided to tell her about the fates of his old friends, along about Cliffjumper's death.

Blowout smiled. She was really happy to see her friends again. While she's sad that she can't see Cliffjumper again, she at least knows that he's in the AllSpark. Before she could leave, Optimus called out her name.

"Blowout?" Optimus asked, walking up to her.

"What is it, Optimus?" She asked in concern.

"I must say that I'm sorry for failing to save your brother... Blue Jacket made the right choice of disobeying my orders in order to save him, even though he could have gotten himself killed. But because I was upset, my mind was clouded with judgement which led to Cliffjumper's demise, as well for Blue Jacket's defeat. If I could reverse time and save him, I could bu-" Optimus was cut off when Blowout hugged him.

"Optimus, i-it's okay." She said. "Hearing about his death does hurt me to no end, but I'd promised him that I'll be stronger for him and for my friends."

Optimus smiled, before asking one final question. "Before you leave, I must ask... Do you know the fate of Alpha Trion... Or..." He looks down a bit before looking back up, "Elita-One?"

Blowout had a sad look on her face. "I wish I knew, but after the destruction of the Elite Guard Base, that was the last of him and Smoke," She said before going to the topic of Elita's fate, "As for Elita-One, I want to say she's alive... But she disappeared as well after the disbandment of the Shield of Solus." She sighed sadly.

Optimus looked down in sadness and regret. "T-Thank you for telling me, Blowout."

"You're welcome, Prime." She said before transforming into her vehicle mode. "I might come back sooner than you think." She then left the base in a flash.

Optimus looked down, hoping that Elita-One would survive. He then walked into his room, getting ready to recharge.
