While still enjoying the Party Cody got himself some root beer for himself and Loona got herself a bottle of whiskey. Normally she would love to drink so much alcohol to excess, but she didn't want to make Cody feel so uncomfortable (only for his happiness).

The female hellhound was careful not to drink enough to make her tipsy either and she went back to drinking regular punch or other non-alcoholic drinks.

Noticing how Cody was just sitting in a lone chair on the far side of the large ballroom, Crymini felt like sitting over next him to give him some company. "Doing ok, kiddo?" asked Crymini. "You look a little like a gargoyle in that chair."

"I'm ok, Crymini. Just sitting here." the boy said, drinking another sip of his soft drink. "I'm glad to know that they're some demons that want to make lunch out of me. That way, I can be more careful."

"Don't let it get to you, short stuff." Crymini said. "I've heard not everyone will like you on Earth either."

"I know. Bruce with his... lobotomy? I can't remember how to say that."

"Yeah that's right, Lobotomy." Crymini pointed. "Screw him. if he does come down here, I can help you make his life worse Hell than this place." she cracked her knuckles to prove her point.

"I don't think it would feel right to beat up someone that just turned into a vegetable after a lobotomy. Or someone in a wheelchair. But you're a demon, so you probably wouldn't care about standards." he looked at Crymini, worried he offended the short hellhound demon. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that."

Crymini just chuckled in reply. "No, it's ok, don't worry about it." she took a sip of her beer. "I have standards, and... can I tell you something?"

"Yeah, what is it?"

The demon looked a little ashamed, but she admitted: "I'm a sinner demon too."

"Really?" Cody sounded surprised.

"Yep."

"I guess it's none of my business about how you came down here."

"Yeah." Crymini looked ashamed of herself. "Kinda. Many sinner demons don't like to even talk about it. Nah, they don't even like to think about it."

"Right. I get it."

"So I'm curious, do you have a girlfriend?"

"Eww, no. that's yucky." Cody gagged.

Crymini let out a loud laugh and said, "Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised you would think that, kid." she gave him a gentle punch to the arm. "But yeah, typical. When you get older, you'll learn to embrace it."

"I will? When?"

"Some people mature more than others." Crymini admitted. "Just be careful who you pick as a girlfriend."

"What's this about a girlfriend?" Loona asked, coming to check on Cody.

"Well I don't want one." said Cody flatly. "I don't really like that mushy stuff."

Loona herself laughed. "Well you're just a kid, so I shouldn't judge you for saying that, especially little boys who believe in cooties."

"What?" Cody looked confused. "I don't believe in cooties. I... just don't feel very comfortable with those stuff. And besides, I don't think any girl would like me anyway."

"Oh come on." Loona said. "You don't know that."

"Yeah, I think with a kid as cute as you are, you'll find the perfect soulmate." Crymini said with a wink.

"Thanks." Cody said. "But I don't want to look for one."

"Alright everyone," said Satan. "It's Open Mic time!" the demons crowded around the stage and Cody stood next to Loona. "Honestly, I would nominate Cody as the first candidate."

"Dad!" Charlie scolded, "He's just a little kid. You want him to have stage fright?"

"Come on, I'm doing this kid a favor. And he is a your new friend after all. I'm trying to do something that can bring you closer to him."

"Darling, let's not get too ahead of yourself. The boy's probably scared shitless right now as it is." Lilith said.

"Dad, he'll have a nervous breakdown." Charlie said.

Cody looked a little frightened for a moment, but remembered that he needed to be tough if he was going to fit in more down here. Along with Jesus always being there to guide him in case something goes wrong, and Loona, and his new demon friends to back him up. And, at least the king of all Evil (as the bible says he is), has some liking to the kid here. For that; the boy hopped on stage, though he struggled in the process a little bit. He went up to the microphone and cleared his throat.

Vaggie went up to his left side and said: "You don't have to do this, you know."

"No, it's ok, Vaggie." Cody reassured her. "And... I think I know what to do."

"OK."

Cody cleared his throat and, through the microphone, he asked: "Does anyone in here know how to play guitar, bass, and drums?" Crymini, Moxxie, and to Cody's surprise; Loona and Vortex came on stage. "Oh, I didn't know you played an instrument, Loona." said the kid

"I keep a guitar in my closet for safekeeping to that no one lays a finger on it." Loona quietly remarked to the boy. She pulled out her signature guitar that looked like a Les Paul made of bones and having skulls on it. Vortex pulled out a drum set and Moxxie pullws out his own electric guitar. For Crymini, she pulled out a bass guitar made of red like the color of her party dress and shaped like a wishbone for the body. Cody was surprised at this, but he was glad either way.

"Guys, come here." the four demons crowded around the kid. "Okay, the song I want to have is..." he then whispered the song to their ears and the demons knew that tune all too well.

"Ohh, nice choice." said Tex.

"We can definitely play that for ya, Cody." Loona wanted to hug him again, but remembered that people were watching her and didn't want any of these demons to view her as soft.

"Absolutely." Moxxie said. "Good thing I've been practicing that song for years."

"Since when?" said Loona. "I didn't even know you liked that kind of music, fatty."

"Oh shut up." Moxxie rolled his eyes.

"Count me in."

Everyone got in position and got in front of the mic. "You might or might not recognize this song." Cody said. "One. Two. One, two, three, four."

No More Tears by Ozzy Osbourne plays

Crymini's bass hit hard in the intro, and Loona played a mean and stinging kind of playing on her guitar. Moxxie seemed to be the one playing the rhythm guitarist, and Tex was pounding on those drums. Many demons knew this song well, and many of them began headbanging and flailing their devil horn gestures as the music played. Satan looked quite amused like watching a guinea pig get tortured in a laboratory. Lilith, Charlie, and Vaggie smiled and thinked everything will go well.

"The light in the window is a crack in the sky," Cody sang. Loona hit the guitar strings hard with her playing. "A stairway to darkness in the blink of an eye!"

Moxxie was trying to hit as hard as Loona, but wasn't as heavy as the female hellhound and her nasty playing.

Cody kept his confidence as he was singing and letting in the awesome feeling of heavy metal course through his veins. He was sure as hell glad he was is listening to this stuff while he is slowly growing up. Loona was very happy to be in this spotlight as well, for she never got to display her guitar skills before (at least in front of an actual audience).

Millie was impressed with this, and so was Blitzo, despite being... tanked and loaded. "That's my little girl, mother fuckers." he said in a slurry voice, foolishly waving a lighter in the air like at a big concert.

Cody felt a little more confident than before and waved his head back and forth a few times.

Loona would even improvise at the guitar playing she would do with a few hammer-ons of her own during the chorus of this timeless classic.

Moxxie himself was feeling confident in this, and he never played this hard in guitar playing before.

Tex, being a gentle giant, was just being chill as usual and he just pounded on the drums as heavy as he could, as he knew all heavy metal songs should sound like the drums: loud and heavy.

Crymini was getting heavy in the tune herself, just strumming her bass in the right tune of this song. Octavia cheered on for everyone in this lineup, mostly Cody but still. It seemed that many demons couldn't get enough of this awesome performance.

What made it better was that, Cody was singing in a nice voice for his age.

When the orchestral part played, Stolas was quite impressed and the lights went red and strobbing like crazy. The human boy was lucky that he wasn't suffering a seizure from this right now.

The climax of the song made the lights go dim and the room almost went completely dark, except for the many phones in the audience recording the event right now.

Loona was the one playing the guitar solo when it happened. Yes, Loona seemedkke a pro in this and the lights came back on when the Loona shredded on her ax. She looked really graceful when she was shredding away and when it was finished, the sound of applause was heard.

"So now that it's over, can we just say goodbye?" Cody sang.

The group played on and Tex was sweating with all the drum pounding, and Loona's hair was a little messy from all the moving.

When it was over, a bigger sound of roaring applause was heard and Cody felt so triumphant. "Loona, that was awesome."

"Thanks." Loona said. "You are an amazing singer, you know?"

"No, really." said Loona. "You were good at singing it, Cody."

"Totally." said Vortex. "Ever thought about being in a band?"

"Well, not really." Cody admitted. He felt himself being hugged by Octavia from behind.

"You did really well, Cody." said the princess.

"Yes, I can say you are a little rock star." Stolas gave him a gentle pat on the back.

"Thanks."

The party was already over and Loona and Cody got back to the apartment, with the female hellhound holding Blitzo over his shoulders, still quite drunk.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, that was the most amazing thing ever, Loony. I'm so fucking proud of you."

Loona rolled her eyes and said: "Shut up, Blitzo." Yes, she was quite embarrassed with her adopted fathers' usual silly attitude. She just dropped Blitzo as his bed after entering his own bedroom. The leader of I.M.P just falling asleep as soon as he hit the mattress. "You'll be lucky not to get a headache tomorrow, dipshit." Loona crossed her arms.

As soon as she left the bedroom, he noticed Cody taking off his clothes and revealing his tighty-whities. "You feel alright, Cody?"

"Uh-huh. That was fun."

"Yeah it was." and she walked up to him, and hugged him. "You did awesome."

Cody was touched and her body felt warm as ever. "Thanks. You too. So I'm gonna take a shower."

"That's fine, I'm gonna take one after you."
