Cody was looking out the window of his room and thought of how Ned was so lucky to still have his parents around but Cody was not. Alas, he kept on telling himself it wasn't his fault that his own parents met their unfortunate demise (which it was not, of course). Cody decided to brush it off and told himself there was nothing he could have done and tried thinking of how happy he is that his two-year old neighbor still had his parents on his side. Despite knowing his parents were under good care from God and his only son, he wished that he can see his parents physically and not just in a dream. Of course, many people couldn't tell fiction from reality when they are dreaming and dreams can be very deceiving.

It's not like he can call his parents down here to visit him. Angels wouldn't really do well in Hell after all. His parents would stick out like an African crested porcupine quill on an African lion. Perhaps it was best his parents visit him like on Earth instead of down here in the land of the damned souls.

Despite this, it didn't stop him from deathly missing his own parents like this. He wished he can at least see him. Another thought had come to him: perhaps there was a way to visit them in heaven somehow. He didn't know exactly know how he would do it, but Jesus has met him a few times, and perhaps the Lion of Judah himself can help him out with that little problem. Overthinking can make one miserable and a smart little boy like Cody knew that. He was startled when he heard his name being said in his room and he jumped out of bed.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." It was Loona herself. She sat down on the bed. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah. I'm just fine." he took a sip of bottled water that his brother gave him before he, Loona, and their demon cronies came back to Hell. "Why?"

"I noticed you looked a little sad when you saw Ned and his family today. I mean, I wasn't trying to be nosy."

"OK, it's just that," Cody began speaking to her. "The way Ned was with his mom and dad and how his dad held him like that reminded me when I was two. And I used to like to explore and run around all the time."

"Ah. I get it." Loona understood. "You're both kids and kid will be kids."

"Uh-huh."

"Look, just be happy Ned has a family or something. I mean, it wasn't your family."

"True, but Ned looks up to me."

"I know. Look, why don't you hang out with him some time if he looks up to you?"

"Maybe I should Loona." Cody said. "I mean we can spend some time with him."

"Whoa whoa whoa, I don't if me joining in is the best idea." Loona had a look of doubt on her face. "I don't have anything against him, but you've seen how I am a lot of times... fierce, ferocious, and last thing you want me to see if trying to throw that kid off a building out of pure rage."

"You really do have a way with children, slutty mutt." said a male voice. It startled both of the two in the bedroom. It sounded a little bit like it was through speakers or through a radio a little bit. "Never thought an ill-tenpered and rude dog like yourself. Alas, perhaps you do have a heart in you after all."

Loona growled and looked at the ceiling while barring her teeth and staying close to Cody to protect him.

"Who the fuck are you?" said Loona.

"Relax, child." said the voice again. "I mean you and the boy no harm."

Suddenly, the faint sound of metal music played in front of the bed and there appeared a demon that was male, but he looked gentlemanly and sophisticated. He had red hair in the shape of animal ears.

He also had red eyes and jagged, sharp teeth as pointy as a set of daggers. His smile was a rather disturbing sight to see, and it was the smile of a pure psycho.

"Oh no, not you!" Loona recognized him.

"Loony!" Blitzo called, pulling out his dual pistols. "What's going-" he paused as soon as he saw the intruder. "Oh fuck no!" he said. "Not you again!"

"Blitzy! hello again."

"What are you doing here, Alastor?"

"What?" the intruder tried to sound innocent. "I am only trying to say hello to Cody Laurent and introduce moi to him."

"Who are you?" Cody looked confused.

Suddenly, the stranger went up to him and got his face close to Cody's in an uncomfortable way, invading his personal space.

"Who am I? Why, I am one of the overlords of Hell. Not exactly as high as Lucifer, but almost. Call me Alastor." he bowed in a fancy fashion. "The radio demon."

"Radio Demon?"

"Yes. The demon of music."

"What are you doing here?" Cody asked

"Like I said, I wanted to meet you, Cody Laurent." he then appeared from behind him as if by magic and put his hands on the kids' shoulders.

"You know about me?"

"Ohhhh yes." Alastor smiled. "I've had my eye on you for quite some time now. That, and you are becoming a little famous down here."

"Right." Cody sighed.

"Plus, Charlie told me a good deal about you."

"Wait, you know Charlie?" asked Cody

"I absolutely know Satan's daughter. And she is my B.F.F.F.A.E." Alastor jump in front of the kid from behind. "Or short for: Best fucking friend forever and ever!"

"Right, you help her with the Happy Hotel." Blitzo rolled his eyes.

"Yes, but for my own amusement." Alastor said. then he turned his back at Cody

"Look, you're starting to scare me a little." said the kid. "Please don't hurt or eat me."

"Hurt or eat you?" Alastor sounded offended. "Come on. If I was going to hurt or eat you, I would full-demon mode on you by now."

"Why do you help Charlie anyway?" asked Cody curiously.

"My reasons are my own. Some things are better left unheard of."

"OK."

"So I've heard about the... tragedy you had to endure to bring you down here." the Radio Demon tried to sound sympathetic towards the boy. "And I am so, so sorry about what you had thought endure."

He magically conjured a plush pig toy as something of a present.

"Here. A little present from me to you." said Alastor. "I know you already have a pig toy, but I am just trying to be nice."

"Thanks, I guess." Cody looked at the plush thing. "Wait, it's not going to shoot fire in my face, is it?"

"No, don't be ridiculous." Alastor said. "Why would it do that?"

"Because you're sneaky, cunning, and conniving to the core, you sleazy bastard." said Blitzo. "Cody he is the last person you would ever want to trust in your life."

"Yeah, and he knows how to play tricks." Loona added. "Just get your ass out of here, Radio turd, before I turn you into minced meat!"

"Tut tut, Loona. I just wanted to meet thr boy, that's all. Charlie can trust me.

"Well, you're not Verosika." said Cody

"Damn right. I have better taste of music than she does. and to tell you: she's jaded. Nothing but a joke."

"No argument." said Blitzo. "She's nothing but a has-been. Even Jennifer Lopez would be more talented than her."

"Do you promise you won't, kill me, your highness?" Cody looked a little nervous.

"One, you don't have to be so formal at me. I am not Satan himself you know. Just call me Alastor. Two, I told you if I wanted to kill you, and or eat you, I would go fu demon mode, kid. Anyone who is an ami of Charlie, is an ami of mine. You have nothing to worry about. I just have a good sense of humor."

"You know," Cody realized. "You and Discord would be good friends if he was real."

Alastor couldn't help but laugh. "You know, kid, you are not the only one to say that. If he was real, we would hit it off nicely."

"Who is Discord?" asked Loona

"Nothing." Cody pointed. "Well, it was nice to meet you, Alastor... I guess."

"And I could say enchanté to you, as well, Cody. By the way, Charlie sends her warmest regards. Well I would like to sit and chat with you more, but I need to help her with the hotel again. Toodles!"

He snapped his finger and poofed himself away like a fancy magician.

"Gah, that guy is just so creepy."

"You ok, Cody?" asked Loona

"I'm fine Loona. If he hurt me I would tell you."

"Oh. Right. You and your baby skin."

"What?" Cody sounded offended. "Baby skin?"

"Easy, easy." Loona said. "It means like soft skin, or sensitive skin. That's all. Didn't mean to offend you."

"No, don't worry. Bruce called me a baby many times before he got that... lobotomy! yeah, that lobotomy."

Suddenly, Alastor came back in another flash of his demonic magic. "Lobotomy?" he said. "That sounds delicious! Care to tell me about this bully of yours?" he began invading the kid's personal space by gently clasping his cheeks with his hands.

"Get the fuck out of here!" Blitzo exclaimed.

"Alright, alright, I'll go." Alastor snapped his fingers ans disappeared again out of thin air.

"That guy is weird" Cody said.

"If you thought Stolas was annoying, Alastor takes things to a whole new level." said Loona.
