Hey guys today I bring you chapter 4 as usual please let me know if there is anything I can improve on. Now onto the story.

Before the review responses I just ask that anyone who is using an anonymous guest account to please use a guest pseudonym. As usual, thank you for reading and reviewing.

Arroyokenneth93: I would answer that question but let's just say I answer that question in the next chapter preview.

Guest: Like the last one this question will be answered in the next chapter.

Greenhorn: Yes, in future chapters I plan to have Izuku make his own original jutsu.

As Izuku got up and began his morning routine, part of him was still convinced that this was some sort of weird dream. After all, what kind of sane person would believe a story like his but still here he was in a different world where most modern technology wasn't even a thought in most people's heads. A world where ninja's were the norm and quirks weren't a thing. Needless to say it was a lot to wrap his head around.

After he had gotten dressed he started walking to the academy wondering what ninjutsu and sparring lessons would be like.

Unintentionally Izuku thought to himself "I wonder if I can use ninjutsu to be a hero?" Before long he shook himself from those thoughts as the chances of him making his way back home were slim he reminded himself sadly.

After he had rounded another corner Izuku felt a tap on his shoulder, looking to see who it was he saw Obito and Rin there behind him as Obito greeted him saying "Hi Izuku, wanna walk with us?"

Izuku nodded and replied happily, "Sure." and started walking alongside them.

While walking alongside Obito and Rin, Izuku couldn't help but ask Obito curiously "Hey Obito what's that symbol on your jacket?" Upon hearing this Obito and Rin gave him a questioning look as if he had been living under a rock his whole life.

Nonetheless Obito obliged, stating proudly "This is the symbol of the Uchiha clan."

"The Uchiha clan?" Izuku asked, visibly not understanding what Obito had just said. As his two companions' questioning looks began to turn incredulous after all this was supposedly common knowledge.

Rin couldn't help but ask Izuku "You're not from around here are you?"

Izuku with his head down said quietly "Something like that…" as his two companions questioning gazes eased somewhat as while the Uchiha were a famous clan most people outside the Land of Fire would not recognize their symbol unless they were a shinobi.

Their conversation came to an end as they reached the academy ready for whatever lessons day 2 might bring.

Class A - After Ikkaku's roll call

After Ikkaku had finished his roll call he began to hand out sheets of paper worrying the students. As he began to pass them around as Izuku received his, he began to read it. He realized quickly that it was an assignment.

He then heard Ikkaku say "This is your homework for today, it will be covering the lesson we will be going over right now."

After that Ikkaku began his lesson with Izuku and Rin eagerly paying attention with Obito also paying attention but looking like he was struggling not to fall asleep. As Ikkaku lectured "There are many diverse fields in the shinobi world that one may specialize in but most of these can be broken down into three fields are Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu."

As Izuku began furiously taking notes with Ikkaku continuing "Ninjutsu is by far the largest encompassing of the three ranging from fireballs to throwing weapons if it isn't covered by Genjutsu or Taijutsu chances are it's a form of Ninjutsu this will also include the 3 basic ninjutsu that we will teach you over your time here."

Ikkaku then began to talk about genjutsu saying "Genjutsu is the least practiced of the three fields but because of that is the most dangerous of the three when used by a skilled practitioner as it relies on messing with a person's senses and mind though there are ways to break a genjutsu that we will go over during your time at the academy."

Izuku was furiously jotting down his notes when he saw Obito beginning to sleep. He proceeded to tap Obito's shoulder, waking up the boy before he would be spotted by Ikkaku-sensei. Unknown to either of them, Ikkaku had seen this and began subtly smiling.

Ikkaku then ended the lecture with "Finally there is Taijutsu this field covers things like hand to hand combat and any shinobi worth their salt will never neglect this field as even if you run out of chakra and have spent the last of your weapons Taijutsu is always a good thing to be able to fall back on."

Pausing to catch his breath Ikkaku then stated "Speaking of Taijutsu today we will begin sparring." As he led the students outside.

Academy training ground

As the students began reaching the training ground Obito said excitedly "Finally something that we will use as shinobi!"

Only for him to be interrupted by Rin who reminded him "I think we will be using everything here as shinobi, Obito."

"Yeah I guess you're right." Was Obito's sheepish reply.

Ikkaku then walked towards a chalk ring in the ground and stated to the students "You will be sparring inside the circle here."

He then said to his students "The rules are simple if you are unable to continue sparring any longer or are knocked out of the ring you lose, If time runs out then it ends in a draw, The seal of reconciliation is to be performed by both sides after the spar is finished." After he had finished his explanation he showed them how to perform the seal of reconciliation.

He then asked his students "Do you understand?" All of his students nodded that they understood.

He then pulled out a list from his pocket and said "First up is Kakashi Hatake and Obito Uchiha."

Obito jumped with excitement telling his friends "Just watch and learn, guys!" As he ran up to the ring in excitement.

Kakashi, Izuku couldn't help but notice was reacting quite differently than Obito had. Whereas Obito looked ready to bounce off the walls in excitement, Kakashi by contrast was moving silently at a walking pace appearing as though the silver haired boy was studying Obito.

As Kakashi entered the ring Ikkaku then asked "Are both of you ready?" As the two boys nodded, Ikkaku then exclaimed "Hajime!"

Obito then rushed Kakashi as the students expected an epic fight to happen, one where both Obito and Kakashi were trading attacks blow for blow, this expectation kinda made it an anticlimax when the spar was over in about 12 seconds.

Kakashi ducked underneath Obito's punch before standing up and backhanding him across the face, as he was stumbling Obito attempted to counter with a hook punch only for Kakashi to duck underneath once again and sidekick Obito out of the ring. As the other students watched stunned by how quickly it was over.

As this happened Ikkaku proclaimed "Kakashi wins."

He then said to both students "Please perform the seal of reconciliation." As Obito and Kakashi performed the seal.

As both Obito and Kakashi walked back, Rin asked Obito, "Are you ok Obito?"

Obito responded despondently "Yeah I'm fine."

After Obito and Kakashi's match the spars proceeded in a relatively uneventful manner with Rin winning against her opponent, a girl named Akane.

As the students sparred one after the other, Izuku was thinking to himself apprehensively "Who am I gonna spar and what chance do I stand after all it seems like everyone else here has some experience with this…"

Izuku's thoughts were cut off when he heard Ikkaku say "The last spar for today is Izuku Midoriya and Maito Gai."

Izuku then heard his opponent excitedly shout "Yosh!"

As Izuku and Gai stepped into the ring they heard Ikkaku ask the two of them "Are you ready?" To which they both nodded.

"Hajime." Was all they heard Ikkaku say before Gai rushed Izuku.

Despite his initial nervousness Izuku couldn't help but think to himself "He's fast but not as fast as Kacchan."

Gai attempted to punch Izuku in the head only for Izuku sidestep and deflect the blow with his hand, Izuku countered with an attempted punch to Gai's face only for the boy to catch it and punch Izuku in the chest knocking the wind out of him.

Izuku immediately thought to himself "I need to make space." As Gai attempted to finish the spar by attempting to kick Izuku in head only for it to backfire as Izuku ducked under it and thinking quickly swept Gai's remaining foot out from underneath him then followed up by attempting to kick Gai out of the ring.

At this point most of the class was looking on amazed as after all this was what they imagined the first spar would be like. Ikkaku was watching the match intently and began thinking to himself "Seems like we got a lot of promising students this year."

As Gai managed to roll out of the way of Izuku's kick, he attempted to get up only for him to be shoved backwards by Izuku and at that a shout of "Izuku wins." Was all that was heard from Ikkaku.

Gai was confused at how he lost until he saw Ikkaku point towards the ground. Gai looked down and saw that one of his feet was out of the ring. Ikkaku then stated "Please perform the seal of reconciliation."

Upon hearing this both Gai and Izuku performed the seal and then walked back towards the other students. As they reached the other students everyone heard Ikkaku say "You all have done well today, tomorrow you will begin learning basic shinobi skills."

As Izuku reached the front entrance he heard a shout from behind him "Hey Izuku!" As he turned around he saw Rin and Obito there.

Obito then said to him "That was so cool Izuku you gotta teach me how to do that."

"It was really impressive." Praised Rin.

Izuku was slightly taken aback after all he was unused to being praised by others. He then smiled and said to them "We can train together if you want."

This caused both of them to smile as they agreed that they should train together next week before walking home together.

Back in Izuku's home world

Katsuki Bakugou was walking home right now, the thoughts that had permeated his mind about Izuku only getting stronger. As today Izuku had once again not shown up to school. Trying to break himself from those thoughts he opened the door to his house and saw his mom on the phone looking grim and teary eyed.

As Katsuki stepped inside he asked her "Mom what's wrong?"

His mother slowly turned to face him and told him quietly "Your auntie Inko had just called and she told me that Izuku has gone missing."

Katsuki's face turned blank as if he couldn't understand what she had just said. His mother, unable to think of the correct words to say at that moment, simply hugged her son.

Back in the Academy

After the class had ended Ikkaku Umino had begun going over files of his students as while this information wasn't widely known outside the academy the first 2 days of an academy class were dedicated to finding the strengths and weaknesses of each student and the academy instructors were the ones tasked to do this.

This information allowed the instructors to figure out how best to go about teaching their students and find which subjects where their students would likely need extra instruction in.

As he went over the files most followed their usual pattern.

Kakashi Hatake was probably the most naturally talented of his class though from what Ikkaku had observed the boy would most likely have trouble working with others.

Maito Gai could be the top student when it came to Taijutsu from what Ikkaku had seen but he also noticed that the boy had struggled academically if that test he had given his class was any indication.

Rin Nohara was quite gifted academically based on the test he had given, but she also struggled a little in today's spars as she lacked most of the technical skill required in a taijutsu fight. Though this last fact was most likely due to her being from a civilian background and would go away as the girl gained more practical experience in that area.

Obito Uchiha was most likely going to be the one that struggled the most of his students during their time in the academy. Not gifted academically or physically, Ikkaku saw that the boy was going to have to work hard if he wanted to keep up, but Ikkaku also noticed that he lacked most of the arrogance that a lot of the children from his clan were known to possess which was something that would help him in the future.

As Ikkaku went over the last of his files, he finally reached the anomaly of his class, Izuku Midoriya.

Ikkaku noticed from the test he had given the class that the boy was extremely intelligent for his age as on the math and geography portion of the test he had given correct answers to questions that most third year students wouldn't be able to give a correct answer to.

Although on the history of Konoha portion of the test Ikkaku noticed that the boy struggled with questions that most foreigners would have no trouble answering. "It's almost as if he dropped from the sky or something." Ikkaku thought to himself.

Then there was what Ikkaku had noticed during the spars today as it seemed the boy was very good at evasion but not good at fighting back. Like Rin and some of his other students he lacked most of the other technical skills of Taijutsu as it was very obvious that the boy was improvising. However he had won his spar although he didn't seem very comfortable in the idea of hurting someone else as he was even more reluctant than most other civilian born students.

Izuku's background made even less sense as there was no traceable background of any kind on his file, no parents, no relatives, if he was an orphan how he was found and taken to the village wasn't written down anywhere. The only information listed was his name, date of birth, address, age, and basic medical information as everything else was just blank.

However despite all of what would be very obvious red flags in any other person, the boy didn't just have any ordinary stamp of approval, he somehow had the seal of the Hokage on his file. This meant that the boy's record was personally looked over and the authenticity of his file was verified by the Hokage personally.

"It just doesn't add up." Ikkaku thought to himself warily but he wasn't about to question the Hokage's authority so he decided that Izuku could be trusted. He then began to go over the last of his students' files. After all he had a busy week ahead of him.

And cut. Once again tell me what you guys think of this chapter. Is there anything I can improve on? Please let me know, see you guys next time.

Also in the next chapter Izuku and his friends get lessons from a tomato.
