After the D.H.O.R.K affair, Cody was glad to be out of their fortress, and to see his brother again. No one expected Jesus to come down from his father's sacred land to save him from D.H.O.R.K and getting a lobotomy from these self-righteous agents. Tommy and Celeste were just as glad as everyone else that the kid was alright, and hoped that those agents would never have to cross paths with Cody again. The boy just needed to try and get his head straight, but he could not be any more happy and relieved to have been saved by humanity' savior. It was all so much for him to take it and he almost fell victim to receiving a lobotomy, a procedure that's been illegalized for many decades.
"How do you feel, champ?" asked Tommy, gently patting his brothers' back
"I'm doing ok, Tommy." said Cody. "Thanks to Jesus." he looked at the ground, and the sky, then the trees, then the grass. "The world's getting more dangerous." he said. "I need to learn how to defend myself somehow." he thought of his axes and realized that he should train with those weapons given by the deranged clown imp. Tommy realized that his little brother was right, and after all he has been through: getting kidnapped by a popstar, and a deranged family, and now demon hunters who tried to lobotomized him, it would be a perfect idea to help him fend for himself.
"Don't worry, Cody." said Tommy. "I'll help you with that. I have been trained in the French Foreign Legion after all, and I can-"
"Thanks, but," said Loona, interrupting Tommy. "Me and the guys can help him with that problem."
"Oh." Tommy frowned. "That's right, you guys are assassins skilled in the art of combat. But... I don't know. You guys look a little... extreme. And Cody told me that you were the ones who... gave the creator of Barney a 'well-deserved vacation' a little while ago."
"Ah, well, in our defense," said Blitzo, "that woman was asking for it. She created one of the most annoying abominations of all time."
"Yeah, I mean, that so-called 'Dinosaur' is just so flowery and sugary." Moxxie added. "Just thinking about him makes me throw up. Oh! Too late." his face turned green around the gills and he vomited in the nearest trash can.
Millie went over to cover her husband and make sure he was ok. "Let it out baby." Millie said, "let it all out."
"That sounds like what we did last night." Moxxie gagged. "How you made me..." he looked at Cody and then back at Millie. "Sorry, a kid's here."
"That's ok."
"I don't know about this." said Tommy. "I mean, I don't know you guys as much as he does, but... I'm worried that you, Loona, might turn him into a ruthless, cold-blooded killer."
"Oh come on." said Loona. "I know my anger is... not the best, but I can take care of him."
"Why not ask your grand-pere to help?" asked Celeste.
"Unfortunately, his old age slows him down." Tommy sighed. "One wrong move can break his own spine. He's no Clint Eastwood."
"Oh, zat's right. He fight in Vietnam, and it just struck my head." said Celeste
"I get it."
"He's no Ozzy Osbourne." said Loona. "From what i remember, recent studies said Ozzy is more than human."
"He did survive death many times." said Moxxie.
"And he was a big junkie back in his younger days." said Blitzo.
"We're getting off-topic here." said Tommy. "I mean, I'm worried that Cody will turn... I'm not even going to say it. Be like Jeffrey Dahmer."
"Whoa whoa whoa, how can you say that?" said Loona. "Cody is nothing like that weird pervert. Cody is a good kid, but Dahmer was a big, fat mental case."
"Come on, Tommy." said Cody. "I'll never kill innocent people. I'm a good guy. Would I ever kill someone for the fun of it?"
"No, of course not." said Tommy. "I'm just worried about your safety with them. That's all."
"Well, I saved his life... many times." said Loona. "So you owe me by trusting me on this. If you can't trust a person that saved Cody more than one time, what kind of brother are you?"
"Hey hey hey, easy Loona." said Vortex
"No, it's ok, Tex." said Tommy. "You're right. You did save him a few times, Loona. So... I guess I can trust you. But please, make sure he doesn't get hurt or accidentally has any of his fingers cut off."
"You can count on me." said Loona.
"And us." Millie boasted. "Leave it to weapons experts like us."
"Well, Cody, I guess me and Celeste need to pack our stuff back to France. And is there anything we can get for you before we come back?" Tommy offered.
"No thank you." Cody smiled.
"OK then. Come here, buddy." Tommy opened his arms and Cody hugged him, and then Celeste joined in.
"I think you will be a good warrior, Cody." said Celeste. "be strong and like your brother."
"I will, Celeste. I promise." Cody said.
The group parted ways with the couple and went back into hell after opening the portal in a desolate location away from civilization so no witnesses would see.
"So, how am I going to train with those axes?" asked the kid.
"We're on top of that." Blitzo sang. "Me and Millie had the honor of creating a series of dummies and targets for you to hack and slash against.
"And, we've been talking about something else." said Loona. "You should learn how to use a gun too."
"A gun?" asked Cody. "But I don't want to shoot someone in the head or blow their head off with it."
"It's for self-defense." said Serena. "This will help you get by."
"Yeah," Crystal added, "it's every demon for himself down here in Hell. Survival of the fittest."
Vortex nodded his head in agreement. "It's kind of a Charles Darwin kind of world down here, Cody."
"OK."
"Well, we'll see you guys later." said Crystal. "I have to help my mom get rid of an ingrown toenail."
Everyone made a sound of disgust from them and Loona gagged.
"And I'm coming with her for some extra muscle." Serena added.
"Bye Cody." said both female Hellhounds.
"Be careful down here." Crystal added. "And stay cool."
Cody smiled. "I will."
as the two hellhound girls walked out the office, Stolas said: "I'm afraid that me and Via have to leave too. We have our massages tonight."
"Make sure Cody will be alright with his training."
"We will, dudette." said Loona.
As the royal family went out, it was the IMP employees and the kid now. "OK Cody," Loona pressed her hand on his left shoulder in a rough manner. "Let's get started."
"Where are we training?" asked the kid.
"In our training room of course." said Blitzo. He led everyone to a small room with shooting dummies and melee dummies in them. This place must be where the I.M.P employees practice their killing skills. "Pretty impressive, isn't it."
"Yeah it is." said the boy in awe. Loona gave him his new axes and Cody was in front of one melee dummy.
He gripped his axes tightly, so tight that: his knuckles were showing under his skin. "Give it all you got." said Loona. "Don't be nervous."
The kid took a breath and he began slicing at the dummy as fiercely as he could. However, the weapons he was given were heavier than everyone thought and then Cody accidentally dropped one of the axes in the floor.
"Oops, sorry."
"Don't worry about it." said Moxxie.
As the boy began flailing Round his axes, he thought of someone like Striker, and an anger built up inside of him. That serpentine imp was a real piece of work, and Cody hated him, so he began slicing st the dummy again and even got one axe on top of it's skull.
Everyone looked a little impressed by this kind of move, and admired him. "Nice," said Loona. "But you still need work on that."
"OK.
