Last time Cody was here at the zoo, he was with the guys, but this time; he was with his female friends (and Moxxie since he and Cody are good friends too.)

Where would Moxxie go without his own lovely wife? He didn't know what he would be if he was separated from her.

Cody smiled and was glad to visit this place again. Still, he was glad to be out of the upcoming fight between Blitzo and his daddy, Cash Buckzo. That imp seemed like a real piece of work. Certainly not the kind of company Cody would want to hang out with.

The zoo was still a nice place (in a matter of speaking in Hell) to be at, and Cody was looking at the hairy ice snake in its cold habitat. A warm-blooded snake? Who would have imagined that?

This beauty was almost as big as a Burmese python, but it's fur was as white as actual snow. "These guys can shoot ice breath and blend in with snow." Said Vortex.

"Cool." Said Cody.

"So Blitzo' dad came to visit?" Asked Moxxie

"Yep." Loona said. "That guy is just plain awful. I've seen bad dads, but this guy? When you meet him, you'll be glad that he isn't your dad."

"Well, my dad can kinda relate to him." Moxxie said. "Even if he wasn't exactly like Blitzo's dad."

"He's probably as big of a loser as he is though." Loona rolled her eyed.

"So Cody, are you feeling ok?" Millie asked. "About yesterday, I hope you weren't alone when you were grounded."

"No. It was just for the day." Cody pointed. "It wasn't that bad. And I'm fine. I mean, I disobeyed Loona in the first place."

"She just loves." Said Moxxie. "Don't take it personally."

"Yeah."

"So you plan on meeting that Misty girl anytime soon?" Moxxie couldn't help but ask."

"Honestly, I don't know," was all the kid could say. "This place is like one supercontinent, so it's hard to say. But she might be using me for something. Or she might not be using me. You can't trust anyone anymore these days."

"Facts." Said Crystal. "Especially on the internet. The world's becoming a more scary place. Some places on Earth are not so different than Hell."

"It can be a dangerous world out there." Serena added. "Especially for kids, if you heard of the 'don't talk to strangers' policy you hear."

"Oh I've heard that many times before." Said Cody with a smirk. "Like I said, I had my gun with me while I was with Misty just in case. I might be a little boy, but I'm not stupid."

"We never said you were." Said Vortex. "No one ever said you were."

"I know you guys aren't saying that about me." Cody knew. They walked to the three-eyed saber cat exhibit and this beast looked so fierce yet so majestic.

The boy would certainly be scared shitless if he encountered one of these guys in the wild. One thing was for sure; he didn't want to see these guys in their natural range, and they would surely end him in the most gruesome way.

The beast looked at Cody, and looked curious about him, and it walked up to him in a casual way. Cody's heart began pumping fast as if he was about to have a stroke or aneurism. At last, the beast stopped and he looked even more bigger than the extinct Smilodon or the also extinct American lion.

It sniffed the glass window where Cody was and it wanted to inspect him.

"Boy are you glad you are on the other side of the glass." Said Millie.

"Millie!" Moxxie scolded

"What? It's a compliment."

At last, after sniffing where Cody was, the beast lost interest in him immediately and walked away. Sure, this ferocious beast was only behind glass, but just looking at him up close was more than enough to send a shiver down the kids' spine

The group just walked away and went to look at the next exhibit, the blood skeleton cassowaries. Yes, the wilds of Hell are filled with many creatures not found on Earth at all.

Something was breathing behind Cody's head he turned around to see one of the fire-breathing eland he had saw the last time he was here.

He wanted to scream in fright, but he realized that if he did scream, this majestic, demonic mammal would probably attack in defense. This fire-breathing eland bull tilted its head sideways to the right and began licking the kids' face with his king red tongue.

At the same time, this was one of the scariest and probably the most exciting moment Cody had experience in his life.

Slowly, Cody was growing a little more attached to this curvy-horned eland and this demonic antelope was feeling the same for the kid. This eland even let Cody touch and pet his large, bulky, yet striped side. It was almost similar to a horse, or a cow.

The others were a little distracted at first, but Loona was the first one to notice this and her eyes widened.

"Whoa." Tex said. "I'll be more damned than Judas himself."

Millie thought of how adorable this was seeing Cody and this supposed dangerous bovine interact. Moxxie was also surprised and pulled out his phone. In fact, Crystal and Serana pulled out their phones to take a picture or record this.

The eland lowered his head again and turned around to lick Cody some more. Loona just hoped that this majestic beast wasn't just tasting him to see if he was good to eat.

So far, the antelope still was being friendly and even nuzzled his large head to Cody. The only question was; why was he out of his habitat?"

Crymini thought of how cool this was, and said "oh my Satan. This is fucking awesome."

"Dusty?" Said a tough voice. "There you are, you dumb beast." A large muscled demon that was part of the zoo's staff went up. "Get your ass over here right now!"

The demonic mammal looked at his caretaker and growled, baring his sharp teeth before blowing a large breath of fire in the employees' face, large and wide. Luckily, Cody jumped back and skidded away behind Loona. The eland gave one last growl at his caretaker before running away in a gallop.

Covered in soot, and looking badly burnt, the employee growled. "I hate it when he does that!" He looked at the group. "Sorry about Dusty. He just got out of his range, now I have to go get him." He looked at where Dusty was and shouted: "get the fuck back here!" While running after him.

"That was weird." Cody admitted.

"You ok?" Said Loona.

"I'm slightly covered in eland slobber, but I'm ok."

"Heh, I'll get you a towel." Said Octavia.

"That was way too close." Loona said. "These guys are omnivores."

"He's fine, Loona." Said Moxxie

"Yeah if that eland did attack him, I would break his neck without ease to save Cody."

"True." Said Loona. "I'm probably worrying too much."

After they were done with the zoo, they decided to hit Wally Wackford's ice cream parlor as a snack. After getting their orders, Cody asked Tex, "is Verosika still in rehab?"

"Yep. She's not getting out any time soon." Tex reassured him. "That girl has had a drinking problem for years. It had to happen again some time."

"Well why can't people just quit drinking if they want to quit?" Cody said. "It doesn't make any sense."

"It's not that simple." said Octavia. "You can't convince everybody on earth that Satan is real."

"Yeah, it's complicated, Cody." Said Moxxie. "Quitting alcohol can be harder than people think, depending on how attached they are to it."

"Oh."

"Oh, I forgot to tell you something, Cody." Crymini remembered. "And this goes for Loona too. I'm throwing an awesome adoption party! Now that Cody is adopted by Loona, what better way to celebrate it with a party?"

"When?" Asked Cody

"Tonight at seven." Crymini replied. "Pizza, soda, and alcohol for the grownups.

"Yep, we are so going." Loona said.

"Woo-hoo!" Cody exclaimed with his fists in the air.

Blitzo and Cash Buckzo were still at complete odds with one another and looked at each other with death glares. "Why couldn't you have been more like mom?"

"Quit comparing me to that stupid bitch, you stupid son of a bitch!" Said Cash

"Do not talk to my mother like that! I could fucking kill you now."

Cash wash scared, he simply smiled. "A stone cold killer, eh Blitzo?"

"And proud of it. What do you even want? You came here for a reason."

"I want to know where your mother is so I can make amends to her for being such a shitty husband."

"Please." Blitzo didn't believe his father. "We both know you hate her so much for being too soft."

"Gah! You're so stubborn."

"Ask anyone."

"This is a waste of my time." Cash gave up and left the apartment. As he was walking out of the building, a new idea came to his head. Maybe a human boy can make him some big bucks, some real money. Yes, Cody can be useful to Buckzo's sleazy advantage.
