"Second Chance!" Viperion cried out and time moved back.

"Just a few more minutes. I'm sure everyone will manage." Pegasus said to Chloé.

Chloé didn't have a chance to say anything before a shadow came running toward her. She kicked it and made it fall down on the ground before she quickly moved away. As she was moving around on the street, she was looking around to see if someone was in any danger.

Most of the heroes seemed to have someone by their side, which made them not having to battle that much on their own. Even if that helped, most of the heroes looked almost on the edge of giving up. There was fire in their eyes, but that was not enough to keep them standing much longer.

Chloé looked toward the place where Shadow Mirror were at. He hadn't moved one inch and none of the heroes were any close to him either. She hated to admit it, but Hawk Moth had really improved his game this time around.

"Now!" a familiar voice screamed.

Chloé turned around and saw Ladybug come flying down towards her. She barely had any time to think about what she was going to do, but she still managed to do her part.

"Venom!" Chloé screamed.

A portal opened behind Chloé and she turned around to enter it when she heard 'Queen Bee' being screamed through the battlefield. She stopped to listen to what he, because she knew it was him, had to say.

"Watch out for his mirror!" Viperion screamed at her.

Chloé took a deep breath and waited for Ladybug to land next to her. Only then did she move through the portal with Ladybug right behind her.

Chloé fell from the other side of the portal that was above Shadow Mirror and pointed her Venom toward him. She already knew to be wary of his mirror, but Viperion's warning had made her extra careful. When she noticed that the gleaming from the sunlight on the mirror changed, she started panicking.

Before Chloé had a time to do anything, Labybug threw her yo-yo around Chloé and dragged her backwards. She flew through the air and back toward the portal that disappeared moments before she collided in it.

Ladybug jumped to the side using her yo-yo and fell down on the ground. She quickly stood up and turned to face Shadow Mirror while Chloé was still up in the air above Shadow Mirror.

When Chloé was starting to fall down again, she noticed that someone dressed in blue came running on the ground on the other side of the street. When she turned her gaze to the person and saw who it was Chloé started to realise that it all was meant to be.

Bunnyx jumped up in the air and threw a package of flour on Shadow Mirror before she jumped down on the ground again. For one tiny second Shadow Mirror went from invisible to visible and Chloé could see what she had to avoid in order to immobilize Shadow Mirror with her Venom.

Ladybug threw her yo-yo around Chloé and pulled her down toward her. While Chloé flew down toward the ground, she reached out her hand and touched Shadow Mirror with her Venom while she fell.

The second Chloé landed on the ground the yo-yo was removed from her and Ladybug threw it around one arm of Shadow Mirror and started pulling it toward her. The more she pulled the more he moved and soon he had lost the grip on the mirror with only one hand remaining on it.

While Ladybug was struggling with holding onto Shadow Mirror's arm and making it impossible for him to move it back to his mirror Chloé looked around and wondered what she could do.

None of the shadows were moving anymore and she figured that it was because of her use of Venom. The heroes who were no longer fighting the shadows took a moment to prepare and gather enough strength if they would have to get back into fighting soon again.

Chloé knew how quickly things could change when it came to fighting akumas, she just hoped this wasn't one of those moments. She wanted this to be over right now.

Purple Tigress started running through the street and headed right toward the place the now flour covered Shadow Mirror was at. As she was running some of the shadows were starting to move a little, but Shadow Mirror seemed to stay in the position he was frozen in.

Chloé ran up to the shadow that was closest to her and pushed it down to the ground. Other heroes followed her act and ran up to the shadows nearby that was starting to move and pushed them down as well. Everyone did their part in order to let Purple Tigress through so that this battle could finally be over.

Viperion showed up a few meters in front of Chloé and pushed down a shadow that was starting to move. His worried green eyes turned to her even though he seemed to have his concentration toward everything that was going on around him.

"Collision!" Purple Tigress screamed.

Chloé tore her gaze away from Viperion and looked up. She saw Purple Tigress jump high up in the air right above Shadow Mirror and then dive down straight toward him. The moment Purple Tigress fist collided into Shadow Mirror he flew down hard into the ground.

The mirror Shadow Mirror had been holding onto with one hand started falling down to the ground. The moment the mirror hit the ground it broke into a million pieces and the akuma flew out from the pile of broken glass.

Ladybug rushed to the akuma and caught it with her yo-yo. The black butterfly she had caught was released as a normal butterfly that flew away as if nothing had happened. As it started flying up in the sky Ladybug threw the red object with black spots up in the air.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug screamed.

The things that happened afterward were one of the best moments Chloé knew when it came to being a hero. She loved watching all the bad things that had happened while they had been fighting turn back into its normal shapes and forms. It always meant that things had been fixed, that the heroes had won.

When everything was back to normal Ladybug walked up to the man that had been akumatized and talked to him to make sure he was okay. While she was doing that all of the other heroes walked up to other civilians in the area to make sure that they also were fine.

It wasn't a normal thing for everyone to do, especially if some heroes had to return to whatever they were doing in their civilian lives before they were needed as a hero. But this time everything was different. This was the first time a akuma attack had happened in three years. Everyone was needed to console the upset civilians who had hoped that Hawk Moth would never come back and terrorize them again.

Chloé knew she could have stayed for a short while, but she knew she couldn't. She had used her power, and she was going to transform back in any moment. But there was one thing she had to do before that happened.

Without saying goodbye to any of the heroes, Chloé left the place and hurried back to where she had last seen the white violin lying on the ground, too broken to be ever used again. She had to find it and make sure it got back to the elderly woman who had bought it from Luka's store.

Chloé, still transformed as Queen Bee, ran as fast as she could and made it to the spot moments before she knew she would transform back to her normal self. She ran over to the white violin and looked around to see where the woman was at.

She knew the elderly woman couldn't have gone that far, especially when Chloé knew how much the violin meant for her. As she was looking around and searching for the elderly woman, Chloé finally found her when the woman exited a nearby building.

Chloé was starting to get a little bit stressed when she knew she would transform back any moment now. But she had made the woman a promise and she wanted to keep it.

She ran up to the woman and quickly gave the violin back to her.

"It's just as good as it was before." Chloé assured the woman who looked surprised to have her violin handed back to her.

"Th-thank you." the woman said and looked up at Chloé.

As a smile crept on the womans lips when Chloé turned around and ran away. She had done that she had promised and even though she had wanted to say more things to the woman she knew she couldn't. She had to get away from there before she transformed back and revealed her identity to all of the citizens of Paris.

She found a lonely alley, not really what she was looking for but she was desperate and transformed back in there. She leaned back on the wall behind her and exhaled while Pollen flew down to her purse again.

"I cant believe we won." she said.

"I never doubted that." Pollen said as she was eating what she found in Chloé's purse to recharge her energy.

"I think I did." Chloé said honesty. "At least for a moment."

"Never lose hope, my queen." Pollen said after she had finished eating.

Chloé smiled down at the kwami before she closed her purse and left the alley. She knew she had to go back to work and help Luka, but she had to go to her sister and see that she was alright.

Chloé knew it was only a matter of time before her phone would start ringing because her father would be worried about her and want to make sure that everything was fine now that Ladybug and the other heroes had defeated the akuma. But instead of waiting for that to happen she quickly wrote a message to her father to let him know that she was fine and hoped that would be enough to calm his nerves.

When she reached the building where her sister lived, she entered through the entrance and walked up the stairs. When she was on the right floor, she walked up to the door and knocked a couple of times before she decided to stop and wait for someone to open.

As time passed without anyone opening the door for her, Chloé was starting to get worried. What if her sister had been one of Shadow Mirror's shadows? What would that mean for her already fragile health?

Chloé started banging on the door and when that didn't work she reached for the doorhandle and turned it. When it showed that the door was unlocked she didn't bother waiting anymore. She opened the door and walked inside the apartment.

"Zoé?" Chloé said while she walked through the apartment.

She looked inside every open door she passed and got more worried for each empty room she passed. When she had passed the last door and hadn't seen her sister, she was starting to freak out. She took up her phone and was about to call Zoé when steps came closer to her from the living room.

"Zoé?" Chloé said hopeful and walked the last bit to the entrance of the livingroom.

Her sister walked up to the entrance and looked as if she had just woken up from a nap. Zoé didn't look as pale as she had been the last time Chloé had seen her and that was enough for Chloé to calm down.

She ran the last bit to her sister and hugged her.

"I was so worried about you!" Chloé said and didn't let her sister go even though Zoé didn't hug her back at first.

"Why?" Zoé asked when she finally hugged Chloé back.

"The akuma attack. I thought you had been taken by that mirror guy." Chloé said and knew she sounded as if she was close to tears.

Zoé let go of Chloé and leaned back to give her a serious look.

"The what?" Zoé asked as if she hadn't heard what Chloé had just told her.

"The akuma attack? Less than an hour ago? A guy with a mirror catching people and using them as shadows to fight the heroes of Paris?" Chloé said and gave her sister a look that she hoped showed that she was serious about the things she just told her.

"I didn't know." Zoé said and went pale. "I was asleep."

"The heroes saved us. They managed to defeat him. We are safe now." Chloé quickly told her sister who seemed too shocked to be able to hear her.

"Hawk Moth really is back?" Zoé managed to ask and looked scared.

"He is." Chloé said.

Everyone would know it by now unless they didn't already. No one but Hawk Moth created such evil and spread it all around Paris for his selfish reasons.

"I can't believe it." Zoé said and gave Chloé a hopeless look. "He couldn't have waited more years before he got back into causing innocent people trouble?"

"I'm sorry. This is the last thing any of us needs right now." Chloé said and couldn't hide how annoyed she was over it.

Zoé took a deep breath to collect herself. She forced a smile to her little sister before she spoke in a somewhat shaky voice.

"I have faith in the heroes at least."

"Me too." Chloé said.

Before any of them had a chance to say something some steps sounded from behind Chloé and she realised that she hadn't closed the apartments door when she had entered. The steps were echoing in the staircase outside and Chloé knew it was too loud to only belong to one single person.

Seconds later Juleka, Rose and Luka showed up at the door and all three of them was out of breath when they stopped at the entrance. Their eyes quickly fell on the two sisters, and the three of them calmed down a little before they decided to break the silence.

"There was a akuma attack. We got worried." Rose said.

"We are fine." Zoé said and gave Chloé a look to ask if what she had said was true, something Chloé wasn't sure, but she had to say yes in order to not cause her sister any unnecessary worry.

"I'm fine. We both are." Chloé said and smiled at her sister before she turned to the others. "Are you guys alright?"

"I'm okay." Juleka mumbled quickly.

"I think we all are." Rose said and smiled when she looked between the two siblings next to her.

"You managed to get here without any trouble?" Luka asked Chloé.

She quickly nodded.

"I had to hide for a while, but I kept my distance from the battle." Chloé explained.

"I can't believe Hawk Moth is back." Zoé said and walked up to the three that was still standing by the door. "This is awful."

"I know. But we have Ladybug and the heroes. They will protect us." Rose said.

"I know and they have always done a good job. It's just that I think all of the citizens of Paris have gotten used to not having to worry about akuma attacks or Hawk Moth these past three years. Everything is going to change from now on" Zoé said.

While the four of them was talking Chloé backed away and walked into the living room when she heard what was on the TV. She walked up to the remote and turned up the volume a bit higher so that she could hear what was being said.

"It looks like every hero was participating in the battle against... What was he called?" the male news reporter asked his co-worker.

"He was called Shadow Mirror." the other news reporter answered.

"Oh? Shadow Mirror? Clever name." the male news reporter said.

"I think all of the heroes was at the battle and when the villain was defeated Ladybug stayed for a few minutes to answer some questions and this is what she said." the news reporter explained.

A clip of Ladybug showed up on the screen. She looked exhausted and seemed to lack the patience she usually had when a lot of people screamed out different questions at the same time, but only one question seemed to catch Ladybug's attention.

Ladybug turned to whoever it was that had asked the question.

"What was that?" she wondered.

"I was asking if there was a reason why Chat Noir wasn't here. Last time we saw him you was chasing him through Paris after he destroyed that building and caused a lot of damage and that was after he had been gone for three years, the same amount of time Hawk Moth have been gone as well. Is he or is he not our enemy?" the person asked.

"Hawk Moth does not have any good intentions." Ladybug said.

"I think it was already clear for all of us that Hawk Moth's intentions aren't the best. I was wondering about Chat Noir. Is he someone we can rely on?" the person asked and noticed a change in Ladybug that seemed to make him find something more intresting to ask instead. "Is he still someone you can rely on?"

Ladybug gave the man a glare that was very unusual for her.

Every other time Ladybug would do interviews she would always be humble. But Chloé assumed that Chat Noir was a soft spot for Ladybug, something everyone that knew of their history would know. But reporters and journalists always only cared about the story and not peoples feelings.

"Hey, Ladybug!" a familiar voice sounded off screen.

The camera moved to Chloé's old classmate Alya who pushed herself forward to get to the front of the crowd. Some of the people gave her annoyed glances that Alya didn't seem too bothered by, she was probably used to that by now.

"I have a question." Alya said and ignored the people behind her who had been there longer, waiting for a chance to ask their own question.

"Go ahead." Ladybug said and seemed to relax a little with Alya there.

"It looked like you and the other heroes worked good together and I have no doubt that you guys will do your best to protect Paris from any other attack Hawk Moth will cause. Since he has been gone for three years and now returned, I wonder, do you have anything to say to him?" Alya asked.

Ladybug listen to what Alya had to say and for a few seconds she just stood there in silence that was interrupted by the beeping of her earings. Ladybug looked up and straight into the camera that was filming her.

"I wouldn't use innocent civilians to fight my battles, like certain others do, especially when it always fails. That's all I have to say."

Ladybug turned around and left and the screen went black for a moment before the two news reporters came back into view.

"I'm glad we have someone like Ladybug in Paris." Luka said and spooked Chloé.

She jumped of fear and almost screamed, but managed to close her mouth shut instead.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't think." Luka quickly said when he noticed that he scared her.

He reached out to her, but let his arm fall to his side instead. It had seemed as if he wanted to console her, but decided to not do it for some reason. Chloé couldn't help but feel a little disapointed by it.

"It's fine." Chloé said and breathed in and out a couple of times to get calmer before she spoke again. "I didn't hear you."

"I should have said something, so you knew I was here." Luka said.

"Don't worry about it. I know you mean well."

Luka nodded and smiled at her.

"Are we going back to the store?" Chloé wondered.

"No. I closed the store for today because of the checkout not working. I hope it will be fixed by tomorrow." Luka quickly explained.

"I guess that means I'm free for the rest of the week then?" Chloé wondered.

"Emma will probably be back tomorrow at the store, so I don't think you are needed there for the rest of the week." Luka explained.

"That's perfect. I needed some free time so I could move into Adrien's penthouse tomorrow." Chloé said.

"You two must be close if you are moving into to his place." Luka said.

"I think we were closer when we were younger. His mother was close to my parents and it was easier to hang out because of it. But since Emilie disappeared years ago we haven't really hung out like we used to do. I think I failed him as a friend... Just like I failed so many other." Chloé said and felt worse for each thing she said.

She had been a bad friend to so many, but mostly to Adrien, Sabrina and even Luka. Sure, Luka had forgiven her, and everything seemed to have gone back to what it used to be between them, almost anyway. But that didn't erase it all from her mind.

She hadn't even talked to Adrien about how she used to act and all of the horrible things she had done in the past. Was that something she should do? Or should she let it be for a while and just be there for Adrien?

She didn't even want to think about what she would say to Sabrina if she ever met her again. Would the redhead even care what she had to say? Would it matter?

"Don't put yourself through something like that. Sure, you weren't a complete sunshine in the past. But that doesn't matter today if you are no longer that person. People change, all the time. It doesn't make us bad. It just makes us human." Luka said.

Chloé forced a smile.

"Yes, I guess you are right. Everyone changes." she said.

Everyone but Hawk Moth, it seemed.

Rose came into the livingroom and both Chloé and Luka turned toward her.

"Do you guys want to stay for dinner?" she wondered.

Luka looked toward Chloé and waited for her to give an answer before he gave one himself.

"If there's no trouble?" Chloé said unsure.

"Of course not!" Rose said and smiled.

"I'd love to stay for dinner then." Chloé said.

"Me too." Luka answered not even a second after.
