Hello Readers. I've been thinking about doing a SWTOR story for several months now, and my schedule has finally changed and allowed me to do so. Originally I had wanted to do one with the Sith Warrior and Jedi Counselor meeting up on Alderaan and becoming friends, but after playing through the Balmorra story again, I decided to go with the Sith Warrior and Inquisitor as partners on said planet. Right now I don't know how long this will be, or how quickly I'll put out updates, but reviews tend to motivate me. Enjoy!

Darth Lachris strode into the Dark Council meeting chamber to find it empty except for Darth Marr. Satisfied that she could forgo the tedious formalities the Council demanded she approached her former master and stood by his side, waiting for him to speak.

It wasn't hard to guess the reason for his summons. The imposing sith stood in front of a massive hologlobe of Balmorra, finely detailed with topographic features, Imperial forts, cities, past and ongoing battles, and rebel strongholds. Lachris could feel the frustration and anger that flowed out of Marr, it was invigorating.

Finally, Darth Marr spoke, his voice echoing out from the armored mask that she had never seen him without. "The planet was won during the last war, but in the years since then it still has never been brought to heel. Its people believe it better to suffer and die under our fist, than live and serve honorably. More than once I have been tempted to have the population exterminated, but the cost would be too high." Marr waved his hand and the globe spun rapidly and then stopped, Marr motioned again and the globe zoomed in on an area prominently marked by the Imperial held city of Sobrik, and the rebel held Balmorran Arms Factory.

"Another war with the Republic is coming, and we will need Balmorra. The weapons and battle droids produced there are second to none. Furthermore in the people have become expert saboteurs and siege-breakers, we need them all!"

Lachris smiled. It had been too long since she'd felt the thrill of battle. "I take it I am to break them?" She asked.

"Indeed." Marr said, and then paused before continuing. "Go to Balmorra, relieve the incompetent fool who calls himself 'Imperial Governor,' and take command. A detachment of the Consolidation Corps is already planet-side, and I am sending you the 104th Infantry Division, as well as the 228th Fighter Wing. You are free to use any tactics or methods you feel necessary... but I want that planet! I want it intact, and I want it Imperial!"

Lachris placed a hand over her heart and bowed. "I have never failed in battle," She said as she straightened. "And I will not start now. But before I depart, I have a single request."

"Speak."

"I need sith, and not those pathetic fools who waste their time backstabbing and fighting for scraps of power and influence, I want true sith."

Darth Marr waved his hand again and the hologlobe vanished. He clasped his hands behind his back and moved towards the door that would lead to his private quarters, Lachris followed obediently. "That is the trick, isn't it?" The distaste in his voice was obvious, Marr had made no secret of his disgust for the state of the Sith Order. "Some time ago there were two promising acolytes here on Korriban, both strong in the Force, and unusually keen of mind. Although they belonged to different overseers, they lived, fought, and worked together. Kherine was taken as Baras's apprentice, and Limmdul by Zash. I will order them sent to Balmorra and placed under your command."

"See to it that their masters are left out. I don't need Baras's machinations and Zash's scheming getting in the way of a good war."

"I will order it." Marr stopped by the door to his chamber and turned back to his former apprentice. "Do not fail me, Lachris, or we will lose more than Balmorra. The Republic and the galaxy will see us as weak, and it will not take long before this rebellion is repeated across our other conquered worlds!"

"I will not fail." Lachris promised.
