answers to reviewers questions or statements:

darthwolf: A few yeah, most of whom will appear on Earth while a few of the more 'supernatural' characters will appear later on.

Jebest4781: It's more of Diana seemed to be the perfect daughter in Julia's mind and she may have unintentionally held her own child to Diana's standard.

Omni-Creator Kami of Anime: Peter isn't being supportive of Diana out of the kindness of his heart, he's 'supporting' her because it's less of a hassle for him to deal with if he doesn't and because Darksied's threats are still hanging over him, do not jeopardize the marriage in any way.

Harbinger of Kaos: Yes and no. While Granny Goodness would normally be the one to approve a potential Fury's recruitment, Peter as a son of Darkseid sorta has a bit more authority than her and can push to have her recruited regardless if Granny approves or not. It'd just help if the woman being put forth is highly capable. Sorta like how Diana was made a Fury without Granny's explicit approval, Darkseid said she was going to be one and that was the end of that. Same with the likes of Grail and even Kunla.

superpierce: He has, it's just Bekka was his longest relationship where's the others lasted a decade at the most of in Faora's case, two to three years tops.

Mezazra: He's a new God of Apokolips and the son of Darkseid, does he sound like a person you wanna like?

Guest: You may not be far off.

DainBramagedMoFo: She wasn't challenging him, she was talking him down from seemingly committing casual murder against someone that, far as she could see, had done everything he was supposed to to a 'T'. And as Diana brought up several chapters ago, if the Justice League try to hinder or outright attack Peter while he's on Earth, Darkseid may see it as an excuse to break the 'alliance' and follow through with his threat. It's not naiveté, it's called using your fucking head. Also how was she supposed to know that one of her in laws would drug and try to rape her jackass? Your ignorance and own naiveté is too much.

Animortal28: Yep.

Spider-Menace76: Vandal isn't the only 'Savage' in DC comics, and I think their unique situation could provide Diana a little insight to go about her own relationship.

The day following the less than stellar Gala at the Themyscrian Embassy was... tiring to say the least.

After her and Peter's... marital spat, the Amazon warrior spent the rest of the night lying in Peter's bed, staring up at the ceiling, trying to pick a exact point when everything went straight to Hades. Last night was without a doubt the closest that she and Peter had ever come to actually trading blows with one another. But what scared Diana the most about last night wasn't the very real threat of actual violence against one another... it was the disappointment that it didn't escalate beyond what it reached before Carol intervened and stopped the first real punch from being thrown.

A part of her wanted the fight to happen with Peter, she wanted to hurt him.

And she didn't mean just hurt, she wanted to HURT him. She wanted to see him lying beaten and bloodied at her feet, his bones broken from her own hands.

'What's happening to me? I've never felt so angry before, not like what I was feeling last night' Diana thought as she sat at a small table in the Watchtower's cafeteria, a bowl of salad before her.

She hadn't touched it, instead she'd been too preoccupied trying to understand what in the name of Tartarus had overcome her last night. Peter she could understand, a mixture of his upbringing and conspicuous amounts of wine he drank while at the Gala and admittedly her own goading being the main cause for his own anger. It was possible that all these months of trying to bottling up her own feelings on the many matters that she's encountered on Apokolips and hearing Vanessa, someone she always saw as a close friend, her first real female friend outside of the Amazons when she first came to Man's world, speaking so cruelly to her was what finally drove her to the boiling point.

She attempted to find Peter, to apologize for what happened, for letting, for wanting things to escalate as far as they did but found no sign of the New God. Her questioning of the Parademons yielding no results and according to Cyborg, who was on monitor duty last night, Peter never used the tower's teleporter or a Boom Tube to leave. Carol had refused to answer Diana when she knocked on the woman's door to her own assigned quarters and after a few minutes of stony silence form the Fury, the Amazon decided that unless Peter was simply hiding somewhere on the station, he had found his own way down to Earth...

'He could be anywhere by now' Diana thought as she pushed a few cherry tomatoes around the bowl 'I just hope he's not in any trouble... or causing any'

The last thing she needed was to hear that Peter went down to Earth and took his frustration out on someone and likely ended up killing them-

"Seat taken Di?"

Diana jumped at the voice and looked up from her salad to see the superheronie Hawkgirl, Kendra Saunders, standing a few feet from the table with a try in her hands.

"Oh, hello Kendra" Diana waved towards the winged woman "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there"

"Yeah, I'm second to none when it comes to stealth" Kendra said with a smirk "I've even mastered the art of standing so completely still, you can no longer see me"

"So I see" Diana said as she nodded to the empty chair cross from her "And no, the seat is not taken. You may use it"

"Thanks" Kendra beamed as she slid into the chair and placed her tray on the table.

Diana took in Kendra's meal and found herself grinning a little "A burger, fries and Twinkie Kendra? Isn't it only eight in the morning in St. Roch?"

"Yeah it is, but don't food shame me" Kendra said as she reached up and removed her helm and set it down next to her tray "Sides, hadn't had one of these bad boys in a while"

Diana nodded at this before she looked around for signs of Hawkman "Where's Carter?"

"St. Roch, giving a history lecture at the university" Kendra said with a shrug as she dug into her fries "Almost feel sorry for him"

"Why?" Diana asked with raised brow "I was under the impression that Carter loved history"

"He does, mostly cause he lived through a lot of it, you know? But the topic he has to talk about today is ironically one of the few cultures he's never been re-incarnated into" Kendra said as she took a handful of her fries and shoved them into her mouth without ceremony.

"What's that?" Diana said as she took a small bite of her salad.

"Polynesian" Kendra said with a laugh "Who knew there was a group out there that our 'Savage Hawkman' has never been a part of at some point"

"If that's the case, why did Carter agree to do the lecture if he has little information on the subject?" Diana asked with confusion.

"He knows enough about the subject given at one point he was a hunter in Micronesia but he's not gonna be able to be as passionate about it" Kendra said with an eye roll "And because of that he thinks the students aren't gonna be as excited or eager to learn. Please, most of his classes are made up of girls that wanna act out 'hot teacher and slutty college student' with him"

"Does he know?" Diana asked with a laugh.

"Nope" Kendra said with a smug grin "Mostly cause it's funny watching him go about it in total ignorance. He actually thinks his students, the female ones that is, are actually interested in history"

"You never know, some of them might be" Diana suggested.

"When they stop eyeing him up and down with 'fuck me' eyes, than I'll believe it" Kendra said dryly as she began to look around the cafeteria "So, where's this husband of yours that I keep hearing about?"

"He's... he wants to be alone" Diana said carefully as she returned her attention to her own food "We... last night wasn't a very good night for us"

"Martial spat?" Kendra guessed as she popped the last of her fries into her mouth.

"Of the sort" Diana said, causing Kendra to hum as she began to reach for her burger before the Amazon spoke "Kendra...?"

"Yeah?" the winged heroine asked as she took a bite of her burger.

"How... how do you and Carter... how do you two make things work-" Diana began before Kendra cut her off with a snort.

"-Despite the fact I'm a stereotypical college girl with authority issues while he's a man that thinks bashing people's skulls into paste with a mace is the best course of action?" Kendra said after she swallowed her first bite.

Diana's gaze flickered to Kendra's own mace "Are you the kettle, or the pot in this regard?"

"He's a bad influence on me" Kendra said with a helpless shrug "What can I say? College girl, we do all sorts of things we probably shouldn't because older good looking men running around bare chested with anger issues a mile long make it look fun. God I think I just summed up half the women in our outfit"

Diana snorted at this before her amusement was replaced with a more somber attitude "I'm serious Kendra. How do you and Carter work despite the glaring differences between you? Or the fact that your 'relationship' was pre-determined by forces outside of your control and your just... expected to go with it"

"Honestly?" Kendra said as she placed her burger down and pushed her plate to the aide before leaning forward and resting her chin on her interwoven fingers "We don't"

Diana blinked at this, that was not the answer she was expecting... or hoping to hear.

"Let me explain" Kendra said as she held a hand up to stop Diana from asking any questions "When I first found out that I was some weird reincarnation of Carter's 'eternal love' who died or whatever and was sorta expected to go with it, I'll admit... it sucked and I told everyone to go fuck themselves"

"I'm sure Carter was over the moon with that" Diana said with a small grin.

"Oh yeah" Kendra said with a chuckle of her own before her face grew more serious "I tried to do everything I could to make it clear to him that I wasn't his long dead wife brought back to life sorta, kinda, but not really. Even went as far as hooking up with Red Arrow just to stick it to him and whatever the hell decides our fates or destiny or whatever"

"So what changed?" Diana asked, curious as to how Kendra went from being so distant and cold to Carter to forming one of the most powerful partnerships she's ever seen between two people.

"Honestly, time, patience, more time, so much time and just general understanding on both our parts and... well just talking really" Kendra admitted with a thoughtful look on her face that was somewhat ruined by the mustard and ketchup on her lips "I mean the talking was more on my part than his, but after a while I began to realize that if Carter and I really had to make things work, we needed to actually talk this shit out instead... well instead of just 'going with it'. I mean you can't take two people like me and him, so radically different from one another, shoehorn us into a 'relationship' and expect it to work just like that"

"So what'd you talk about?" Diana asked.

"We compared favorite chinse take out places" Kendra admitted with a grin as she wiped her face clean.

"Chinese take out?" Diana repeated with confusion.

"Yep" the current wieldier of the title 'Hawkgirl' said with a nod "Eventually we moved on to favorite movies, favorite take out and movie combos. Which combination was better, sword and shield or spear and shield? Occasionally I'd ask questions for a history paper I have to write or clarify some 'modern lingo' that flies over Carter's head. Never gonna get the image of the face he made when I had to explain what an 'urban dictionary' was and what some of the words in it meant"

"So you do not talk about the mystical powers that brought you together?" Diana inquired with a raised brow "Or how your two's differing past lives would-"

"See, that's the first issue right there" Kendra interrupted Diana with a shake of her head "You don't just dive into the heavy stuff like that right off the bat. Honestly, you shouldn't even really try to find a way to have that stuff get roped into a conversation 'naturally'. That sorta stuff comes on it's own. You can never plan on when that is and that's the point. You shouldn't"

"Than what am I supposed to do?" Diana asked with some annoyance.

"Just TALK Di" Kendra said with a serious look on her face "When you were with Superman, did you two always talk shop? Did you two ever ask if your two's romance was something 'destined by your Gods' or whatever?"

"Well... no" Diana said with a shake of her head "Often we'd talk about my home, Themyscria, and his in Smallville and the sorts of things we'd do for fun growing up-"

"See, perfect. Just small, seemingly not important, but important stuff" Kendra said with a nod "Carter and I would do the same. Yes some of those 'childhood' memories were from a past life, but that wasn't the point. The point was, we talked. You'll be surprised to find just how much you can learn about someone by just talking about dumb random things. Now eventually the heavy stuff did come up, it always will, but by than me and Carter had established a damn good relationship by than. So when we talked, had a better understanding of one another, we knew what to say, when to say it, and how to without any misunderstandings. Well, serious ones at any rate"

Diana remained silent, letting Kendra's words filter through her mind. She could see the wisdom in the younger woman's words as she reflected on many of the past conversations she's had with Peter. most of the time she and Peter ever spoke to one another, their current predicament as husband and wife usually was the base of the conversation in some form or another. In fact, Diana couldn't say when she and Peter ever just... talked, not about Apokolips, or about his siblings, or about the Justice League, but just... talked.

"I... I think-...I believe I'm beginning to understand what you mean" Diana said with a slow nod "In the year that Peter and I have been married, I don't think we ever had an actual conversation that wasn't 'talking shop' related to some degree. We've spoken of a few things that interest us, but those usually stemmed from our duties, his as a chief scientist for Darkseid and mine as a Fury"

"Which I think is something you should start doing" Kendra said with a nod "Now that doesn't mean you two should avoid some of the big issues that hang over you guys, like the whole forced marriage thing, but that shouldn't be the ONLY reason you two ever talk. Your both living beings with your own wants and needs and all that stuff. Instead of treating each other as 'husband' and 'wife', first treat each other as individuals. The rest will come in time, which given you two are immortals for all intents and purposes, you got plenty of"

"Your right" Diana said with a nod "Thank you... what you'd said has been... it IS very enlightening"

"Now, are you two gonna have that sweet epic romance that we all secretly wish for? Probably not" Kendra said with a shrug "But, instead of focusing on the negatives of your situation, try looking for the positives. While I doubt they'll ever make things truly tolerable, not focusing on just negatives might make it more bearable"

"There are few and far in between I'm afraid" Diana said with a sigh.

"Well, what's one of them?" Kendra asked as she leaned forward on her elbows and stared at her fellow Leaguer with an intense expression "Start with your husband. Any positive traits about him you've seen, few as they may be?"

"He's... loyal" Diana said after a few moments of consideration "Early in our marriage, I did give him leave to seek pleasures of a sexual nature with his Furies rather than myself. He refused, and to my knowledge, has refrained from doing so"

Kendra nodded at this "Okay, so he's loyal. Nice trait to have, especially given his upbringing and environment. What else?"

"He possesses a gifted intelligence" Diana answered with a shrug as she pushed her salad around with her fork while she rested her head on her hand "True he uses his intelligence to create and improve upon weapons of horror for his monster of a father, but his mind is something to respect at any rate. He even made me my Mother Sword. The armor he currently wears is another innovation of his"

"Any sense of humor?" Kendra joked.

"It's dark and twisted" Diana said with a frown "Often at times poorly timed. I try to ignore it or forget about it entirely"

"Eh most humor is like that, that's what makes some of it so funny" Kendra said with a grin "Some of the best jokes I've heard from Carter were at the absolutely worse time and were about some of the most warped things imaginable. Like we're talking a first class seat to hell for even cracking a grin at it"

"You and I have differing views on humor than miss Saunders" Diana noted.

"Agree to disagree" Kendra waved off Diana's statement "Okay, so he's loyal. He's pretty smart. And he's got a sense of humor, dark as it may be. What about sex? He any good at it?"

"We've... not been intimate with one another" Diana said as she adverted her gaze from Kendra's questioning one.

"You haven't?" Kendra said with obvious surprise.

"No" Diana shook her head "I'm... I'm still not exactly comfortable with the idea of intercourse with him"

"Ah... still nervous?" Kendra asked in a sympathetic tone.

"...Something like that" Diana said with a cough "I have no doubt he's more than capable. It's just... I've only ever been with three men in my entire life Kendra. And combining those three, I can count on one hand the number of times we engaged in sexual intercourse"

Diana wasn't ashamed to admit that she's only ever had sex five times in her entire life, once with Steve Trevor, once with Bruce and three times with Clark when they dated. To her, sex wasn't exactly a crucial element to a relationship, it was more of emotional connection and personality compatibility that she craved.

"Huh..." Kendra said with a look of surprise on her face before she muttered something under her breath that sounded suspiciously like 'way off'.

"Excuse me?" Diana said with her eyes narrowing slightly.

"Sorry" Kendra said with a wince "It's just well... I thought that... well what I mean to say is that your-... let's just move on, ya?"

"That would be best I believe" Diana said with some annoyance, already having an idea of what Kendra meant by 'way off'.

"So, the man's out of the way, what about 'home life'? Your new responsibilities?" Kendra questioned.

"I will admit that my duties as a Fury so far aren't horrible" Diana admitted as she stabbed a leaf of lettuce with her fork and moved it around some "At least, none of my tasks have forced me to help subjugate or murder those that defy Darkseid. Mostly I just provide protection detail for him and occasionally retrieve either artifacts of value or persons of interest vital to Apokolips's court. Such as his sons or other high ranking individuals"

"Well that's good" Kendra said as she reached out and placed a comforting hand on Diana's own "Guess he's smart enough to know that he'll get more out of you by performing duties you'll follow through than ones you'll object every step of the way"

"For now" Diana said.

"Ep, ep, ep, focus on the positives for now" Kendra chastised Diana "Okay, so job isn't completely terrible, husband isn't a pile of shit. What else? Any perks to the job?"

"Well... I have gotten a few new weapons out of it" Diana admitted with a slow nod "My Mother Sword and Jarnbjorn chief among them. And I have been able to visit new worlds that I never knew existed or would have been able to see if I stayed on Earth"

"Chance to travel to unique and exotic locals, nice" Kendra said with a nod.

"I wouldn't say they were all nice but they were... unique" Diana admitted before she and Kendra felt and heard J'onn's voice in their heads.

'Diana, Kendra, your presence is requested immediately!' the Justice League's resident telepath declared.

"What is it J'onn?" Diana said as she and Kendra got up from their seats and took off to the Watchtower's monitor womb.

'It appears the museum in St. Roach is under attack by one of your rogues Diana' J'onn telepathically informed the two women as they raced through the tower's halls to the Martian.

"Which one?" Kendra demanded as she slid her helmet on and reached for her mace while Diana mentally ran through her list of rogues that would be interested in attacking a museum.

'Barbara Anne Minerva... the Cheetah' J'onn said as the two heroines reached the monitor room and he turned to address them directly "Hawkman has already engaged"

"How's he doing?" Kendra asked as she and Diana ran to the Zeta beam teleporters.

"He's holding his own for now but it's best you get there as soon as possible" J'onn informed the winged woman as he began to enter the coordinates for the Zeta beam.

"Do we know what she's after there?" Diana asked.

"No, perhaps you can question her after you've prevented her from killing Hawkman" J'onn said before the two women were teleported down to St. Roch.

...

Today really wasn't going well for Carter, known to the rest of the world as the 'Savage Hawkman'.

The first and arguably greatest issue he's faced today was during his lecture on ancient Polynesian cultures when he caught several students sleeping! As a teacher he's used to some people drifting off or not paying attention, but to find people actually sleeping in his class was a bit of a blow to his pride as a teacher. He prided himself on keeping the class engaged and energized.

Than he was forced to cut said class early as the Cheetah, one of Wonder Woman's rogues, was attacking the Stonechat Museum and had already killed several police men.

And now he was about to possibly join those officers as he found himself pinned to the steps of the museum by his own spear stabbed into his shoulder and his mace and sheild just out of his reach. Cheetah smirked down at the wounded hero and slammed her foot on to his chest, knocking the wind out of him and cracking a rib. To his credit, Hawkman barely made a sound aside from a grunt as the feline villain bent over and gave the winged hero a dark, seductive smile that was ruined by the blood on her lips.

"They say that when you die, you'll be re-incarnated into a new body" Cheetah grinned as she dragged a claw across Hawkman's cheek, splitting the skin and causing it to bleed "Tell me, will that still apply after I've dismembered?"

"I don't know, you tell me" Hawkman bit out, causing Cheetah to smirk as she raised her clawed hand to gouge out Carter's eyes when suddenly a red and blue blur slammed into the woman, tearing her off Hawkman.

"Hawkman!"

Carter turned to see Kendra, Hawkgirl, flying towards him with a slightly panicked look on her face.

"Hawkgirl" Carter nodded at the women as she came to a stop before him and carefully reached for the spear.

"This is gonna really hu-" Kendra began before a stony expression from Hawkman's half covered face stopped her.

"Just do it"

Without any further prompting, Kendra tore the spear out of Carter's shoulder and set it aside as she helped the man to his feet "What happened? Why's the Cheetah here?"

"Don't know" Hawkman shook his head before he stepped away from Kendra and reached down to pick his mace up and glared off in the direction the feline woman was taken by the mysterious red and blue blur "Let's go find out"

And with that, Hawkman took off in the direction Cheetah and his savior went with Kendra right behind him.

...

"LET GO OF ME YOU BITCH!" Cheetah let out an enraged yell as her face was slammed into the ground and dragged across the pavement.

"It's nice to see you too Barbara" Diana stated as she lifted herself and Cheetah higher off the ground before she turned the furred woman towards her so she could land a solid punch to her face, sending the cat theme villain flying towards a small park that seemed to be empty for the moment.

Diana watched Cheetah plummet to the ground for a moment before she flew after her and waited until she was about to hit the ground when the Amazon Fury brought both feet down on the woman's chest, sending her further into the ground. The force of the impact caused a minor tremor that set off a number of car alarms around them and caused the ground for a few meters in every direction to crack.

Cheetah let out a pained groan as Diana hovered over her, watching her movements with narrowed eyes.

"H-Haven't... l-lost... your... t-t-touch..." Barbara moaned as she struggled to climb back to her feet before Diana's slammed into her back, pinning her to the ground.

"Give up Cheetah" Diana warned her long time nemesis "I don't wish to hurt you any further, but you've caught me in a foul mood"

"A-A-And... y-you-rrr... g-g-on-n-na... t-take i-it... ou-t... o-on meee" Cheetah let out a pained laugh as she struggled to look up at Diana with a bloodied face.

"Given your past actions Barbara, I don't believe you have any right to claim moral superiority" Diana said as she slowly floated towards the ground and landed just outside of Cheetah's reach.

"Noo..." Cheetah growled as she struggled back to her feet, her fur marred with dirt and blood and her hair in disarray.

She took a step forward before a spear suddenly flew past Diana's face, cutting off a few strands of her hair, and imbedded itself into Cheetah's shin, causing the woman to howl in agony as she collapsed to her other knee and cupped her injured leg. Diana was at her side in a heartbeat, pushing Cheetah's hands away s she could properly assess the damage and make sure that she wasn't in risk of bleeding out or having to possibly amputate.

"She'll be fine" Hawkman said as he and Hawkgirl landed a few feet away from the two women "She's lucky I didn't aim a little higher"

"Fucking bird!" Cheetah said with gritted teeth as Diana grabbed the spear's shaft and looked into the cursed woman's eyes.

"Hold still please" Diana said before she broke the spear's shaft and gently raised Cheetah's leg and grabbed the spear tip on the other side and pulled it through.

Cheetah hissed in pain as Diana placed her hand over the bleeding wound and glanced at the hawk couple "Do either of you have something to help me stem the bleeding for now? A piece of cloth I could perhaps use to cover the wound?"

"I would, but I just used what I could to help keep an officer's insides in him after your friend there gutted him in front of a family" Carter growled out as Kendra stepped forward and pulled off a portion of her top and handed it to Diana.

"Ignore him" she said as Diana took the offered fabric and began to wrap it around Cheetah's leg, just above the slowly healing hole in her shin.

"Why were you here Cheetah?" Diana questioned the woman after she was done securing the makeshift tourniquet.

"Had to get your attention somehow... St. Roch was the closest" Cheetah glared darkly over Diana's shoulder towards Hawkman "Now I have another reason to come back to this worthless city"

"Please do" Hawkman's grip on his mace tightened.

"I'd recommend against that" Hawkgirl said towards the furred woman with a blank expression on her face "He won't be alone next time and between the two of us, he's the merciful one"

"Good, I'll have a complete set to kill-" Barbara began before he was cut off by a punch to the face from Diana, knocking her out cold.

"That was a little harsh" Kendra commented as Diana stood up.

"It's better than keeping her awake where she'll be in pain" Diana stated as she glanced at the two winged heroes "At least now, when she wakes up, she'll be safely secured and her wounds tended to"

Hawkman scoffed at this "Still soft as ever Diana"

"I'll take that as a compliment" Diana said in a cool tone before she turned towards Kendra "I'm sorry Cheetah caused so much damage here"

"It's fine" Kendra said with a shrug "wouldn't be the first time one of yours popped up and started to go on a rampage to draw you out"

"What do you mean?" Diana said with a concerned look on her face "Has this been happening regularly?"

"Ehh, the first few months after you left a lot of your usual baddies started to act up, some to draw you out others because they noticed you weren't around anymore. Giganta, Doctor Psycho, Minerva there, even Ares" Kendra revealed.

"I see..." Diana said with narrowed eyes as she glanced back down at Barbara's unconscious body "I'm sorry-"

"Sorry won't bring the people she's killed back" Carter said as he turned to leave "Get her the hell out of St. Roch before I decide to make a carpet from her skin"

Diana's brow twitched at Hawkman's comment before she reached down and gently took Barbara into her arms and began to slowly rise fromt he ground before she felt Kendra's hand on her arm.

"Diana, before you go, would you and your husband be open for a double date this Friday?" Kendra asked as she unfurled her wings to prepare for flight.

"Wait, what?" Carter said with surprise.

Since when were they going on a date Friday, let alone a double date?

"I'm... sure he wouldn't be against it" Diana said with a thoughtful look on her face "So long as Peter isn't an ass about it"

At this, Kendra smirked as she placed a hand on her hip "Are you the kettle, or the pot in this regard?"

"That remains to be seen" Diana said with a faint grin on her face before it disappeared "I'll let you know if he agrees to it or not"

"Try to not make it sound like a demand. Trust me, nothing kills the mood than a brisk 'We're getting food, end of discussion'" Kendra said before she shot a dirty look towards Hawkman.

"We had gone two days without eating when I said that, we needed to eat" Carter said defensively.

"You could've had a bit more tact about it Carter" Kendra said ad she flapped her wings and took to the air and followed after her partner.

Diana watched the two go for a moment with an amused expression before she sighed and glanced down at the unconscious woman in her eyes "I suppose you never have marital spats with a significant other you didn't willingly choose to be with and are willing to give me some advice as well?"

Her question was met with silence.

...

And done.
