Desert Rose
Lonely Rose, look upon the world
once part of a desert paradise
Now, the paradise is gone
scattered to the wind
Soldiers come to bring false peace
Hurting, tearing at the tender Rose's petals
And through the greatest pain, came the greatest joy
A baby rose, blooming alongside
Listening to words, while I myself cannot speak
He, alone, made speech possible again
Seeing him again, his blonde hair
Golden eyes that make the world brighter
I love him, oh I love him
Thrown through the gate by Dante
I never thought I would see those eyes again
The gate however, stayed
Ripping limbs from the one called Wrath
Bringing my beloved back!
But Envy. . .took him from me
Gazing at me in death!
Agony, beyond
Then, a miracle!
He was brought back to life
Sacrificing a life for life
But I couldn't reach!
Beyond the gate
Now, dreams come, take me to my beloved
Who doesn't know I really do love him. . .
