Two Days in a row! Again, sorry for any mistakes, hope you enjoy!

With the help of Wes and David, Kurt was moved in, in no time. When everything was brought in and placed to Kurt's specifications, Kurt started pulling his clothes out one by one and putting them in his closet. His dad took the responsibility of putting away the luggage as Kurt finished, knowing there wasn't really much else Kurt would allow him to do at this point.

Burt side-eyes Kurt's potential pals and smirks at them looking around at Kurt's belongings, poking at a few things even. A good person would warn them how Kurt was when his things were messed with. But what good does having a finicky kid, if I can't watch him abuse other people a little? Just a little, though. It's really been a boring day, with this whole school thing. He's used to working with his hands all day, not walking around looking at classrooms, and silently making fun of that grouchy old man. He swore he'd be home by now, watching the game. He looks at his watch and only two hours had passed since they'd been there. Not that he was excited to be leaving his son behind, of course not. But he doesn't like standing around idle. His thoughts were interrupted when the mischievous kid from before steps up to Kurt's clothes. Here we go.

Wes watched as Kurt took his clothes, one item at a time to his closet. By the look of that very organized looking mountain of clothes, this would take all day, and he was hungry. Maybe he just needed a little help. His dad wasn't helping, he's just moving Kurt's luggage, letting his little boy do all the work. Well that's no way to be.

David was watching Wes the whole time, knowing there was probably another good incident left this morning. Something about the way Kurt was moving his things, shows that he's very particular about where his things go. He liked that, respects it even. He would just leave them to it and offer to get them lunch. But he knew Wes wouldn't be able to help himself. Kurt might need the extra help to cut Wes off.

Wes clears his throat a few times, causing Kurt to stop and look at him. Realizing he was possibly being rude, he apologizes, "I'm sorry, I'm sure this isn't a lot of fun for you guys. You're free to find something better to do. I'm sure we can handle it from here. Maybe I'll see you guys later or something." There's no reason for them to have to sit there and watch him unpack. That's dreadfully boring. And he was certainly not going to had them messing up his order, no offense, but there's no way that Wes kid would follow his organizational patterns.

"Nonsense," Wes says loudly, sidestepping toward the pile of clothes, causing Kurt to look at him a little more closely. "You know, I wouldn't mind giving you a hand." He was really hungry, lunchtime starts in twenty minutes, and he has a best friend to rescue still.

"Look," Kurt starts warily, eyeing Wes's behavior closely. "I'd really prefer-"

"Don't even worry about it," Wes says, he claps his hands, rubbing them together, pulling his blazer's sleeves up. He goes to the pile of clothes, ignoring his new buddy's cries of protest, picks up most of it and puts them on the closet floor. "Here, this is about how all our closets are. It's great, really."

He looks over at the bed and sees a few items of clothing scattered around now that he must have missed. "Oh my bad, I missed a few. That's okay, that's usually how our beds look too. Well except Blaine, he's such a good boy." When no one responds, he looks up and sees Kurt's dad, standing with his hands on his hips, with his face turned sharply away. How odd. David was shaking his head across the room and look rather nervous.

Wes follows David's eyes which land very slowly on a no longer pale faced Kurt. Now his face was just a little red, and he was looking at me very strangely. "What?" Wes asks in confusion. "Listen, don't even worry about it. I was glad to help, but I really need to get to my good friend, Blaine, who you've yet to meet." He stops speaking to see Kurt was most likely barely breathing, his face hadn't moved at all. Wes didn't know how he was doing that, but it was making him a little nervous. Wes shrugs his shoulders and just continues speaking, "Perhaps later-"

"Just go please," Kurt says strangely calm for how his face looks. "I will clean this up. But I do not like people moving my stuff." Kurt lets out a deep breath, "So you go find your friend and I'll finish here, how's that sound?"

Wes just nods very fast and turns to David, "I'm sure we can come back later, perhaps for lunch?"

David nods as well, but still looking at Kurt's face. This boy would definitely not need his help. "I'm sure you guys could use some alone time before your dad has to go," he smiles at Kurt's dad who looked like he could barely contain himself. "It was great to meet you, Mr. Hummel," shakes the man's hand and drags Wes out of the room by his sleeve. "We'll come see you about lunch later, Kurt. Sorry about your clothes." He shuts the door behind them and leads Wes to Blaine's room.

The second the door slams shut, Kurt starts muttering under his breath, picking up his clothes frantically. "There's no way I can live here with a bunch of Finn's. One, okay, but if this is how it's going to be, I'll walk home."

Burt barks out a loud laugh and doesn't stop, even when Kurt aims his glare at him. "Come on kid, you had that boy about to pee his pants. He's a funny kid, a little strange, but come on, you are a teenage boy organizing his clothes by color. You guys will be a hit."

Kurt rolls his eyes, trying not to be amused by this, "Dad you know how much time I spent on this. Who does this to their clothes, anyway?"

"Almost every guy I know."

David shoves Wes into Blaine's room, a little concerned that there was no thumping like earlier, "Get him out of there!"

Wes opens the closet and see Blaine asleep on the floor and shrugs, "I guess he likes it, you never know with some people. Especially the innocent ones."

"Man!" David looks at Wes in disgust, "Wes, would you just wake him up. Just be happy his fury isn't as scary as the last person you pissed off."

The light, or the noise must have already done the trick, Blaine turns around and glares at Wes. "Could you untie me already? I can't believe you did this. I hope you told the Headmaster that this was your doing, not mine."

David chuckles, "I'm sure he figured that, Blaine. Especially after Wes called him Headmistress. I think you'll like the new guy though. Seems pretty cool."

Blaine glares at Wes one more time, watching him struggle with the knots. "Great, you'll have to introduce me. What's his name?" He looks over at David curiously.

"Kurt," David smiles, "Kurt Hummel, we're supposed to meet him for lunch if you want to go. We were helping him unpack, but we got kicked out cause someone," his eyes land on Wes yet again," pissed the new guy off."

Blaine looks at Wes in disbelief as his arms are released, he starts stretching them, "You already pissed him off, how?"

Wes shrugs, "I'm not sure, things were going great. I was helping him unpack and he suddenly just changed."

Blaine looks at Wes in amusement, "Yeah I'm sure it was that innocent. You know you're talking to the person you had tied up in the closet for the last two hours, you asshole." Blaine shakes his head as he stands up. "I'm going to get ready, come get me when it's time for lunch, David?"

David nods, and looks at Wes in judgment, "That's fine. No more shenanigans today Wes, lets go."

Kurt got the slightly tearful goodbye to his dad out of the way, while promising to keep in touch as much as possible. Not wanting to prolong it to an all-day affair, Burt leaves him to have lunch with his new schoolmates. Strange how quiet the house would be now..

Kurt watched his dad pull away and went back into the building feeling more alone than ever. This would be a very long school year if he didn't make friends. He's not exactly a prep school boy, and these kids have probably known each other since childhood. It would be hard to find a group that would just accept him. With his head hung low, he quickly walks back to his room and shuts the door. He doesn't allow himself to cry. No, his dad isn't paying out the ear for him to wallow. He takes a few deep breathes and walks back out the door.

Instead of going straight for Wes's room as he was told, he takes a few minutes to wander around on his own. It helped calm his nerves a little. He's not sure he's quite ready for more of that Wes kid, but David seemed cool. He hoped they actually meant it when they said they wanted to do lunch, not because they felt they had to. Considering he didn't have any other options, besides going alone, he walks down the empty hallway back toward Wes's room. Kurt steels himself and knocks on the door.

Wes opens the door and grins at Kurt, "Hello Kurt," he stops for a moment and clears his throat. Kurt heard the throat clearing and prepares himself for whatever was about to come out of the boys mouth. Wes looks ahead as if reading off a sign, "Kurt Elizabeth, Yes I know your middle name, Hummel. I am very sorry for helping you with your clothes. I promise I will never do that again and cause you to look at me with death eyes."

Kurt listened in amusement, and couldn't hold back the first full, genuine laugh he's had in longer than he could remember.

Wes extends his arm, "Would you accompany me to the cafeteria for a lunch with our friends?"

Kurt links arms with his new, and pretty strange friend, "I'm sure I can handle that." His spirits are lifted even more with how Wes said 'our' friends instead of 'my.' He felt just a little more accepted already.

They enter through the double doors into the cafeteria and Kurt started tensing up a little. Wes must have felt it because he looked over and gave him a wink and guided him quickly through the lunch line.

Kurt noticed people staring, which is normal when you're the new kid. But the stares he saw were just curiosity, not disgust or hatred so he didn't mind so much. They were probably also staring because he had Wes tugging him fast as hell to the food. "I'm a hungry boy Kurt. You must be too."

Kurt's eyebrow raised at his wording, he really was weird. "A little, nothing a quick salad can't fix."

"A salad," Wes asks loudly as if he's never heard the word before.

Kurt nods, "Yes, Wesley, a salad. You see the salad bar right there?"

"Yes, I do grasshopper. But we don't go over there. Here, I'll make you a plate. Don't expect this all the time, just for today."

Kurt stares at Wes steadily, "I am going to the salad bar and getting a salad."

Wes stops the piling of food, "it is really scary how you do that. Fine this will be mine, and don't ask for any when you run out of leaves, Tiny Hulk."

Kurt walks over to the salad bar and piles on the vegetables and doesn't even add dressing, Wes notes. Wes motions toward where his normal table, and the two boys walk to a table with two people sitting. The nerves are back.

Kurt sits down in front of Wes, next to a cute blonde with a very pleasant demeanor. The boy introduces himself and his friend before Kurt even had a chance to breath. "Hi there! I'm Jeff and this is Nick. You must be new, welcome!" He grins brightly at Kurt.

Nick smiles too, friendly as well, but more laid back, "Hey, I'm Nick as Jeff said." He looks over to Wes, "How did you guys meet already? I thought Blaine was just meeting up with him a few hours ago?"

Kurt looks at Wes amusedly, and Wes just shrugs, mixing his food together, making it look very unappetizing. "Oh, you know, just a weird stroke of fate. Blaine just couldn't make it this morning, so I took over new guy duties."

Nick frowns at Wes, not believing him, "Yeah right, you know how much Blaine loves the spotlight, he would be all over this, what did you do?" Jeff also looking up curiously, but also pretty sure this would be funny.

Wes sighs, getting tired of telling this story. "Fine, if you must know. I stole the short boy away, tied him up, and locked him in his closet." Quickly going back to eating, it's been a long day.

Nick looks at him in disbelief again, "Wait, really. Is he still there?" He starts to get up when he hears a voice behind him.

"No, I am perfectly fine now, thanks to David really," Blaine steps to the table next to David, glaring at Wes a little but not really angry anymore.

David walks around the table and puts a hand on Kurt's shoulder, "Blaine, this is Kurt Hummel. Kurt this is Blaine Anderson, the one was supposed to be helping you today."

Kurt looked up him and smiled, he was very cute. In fact, the cutest boy he's ever seen. He couldn't help side-eyeing Jeff a few minutes ago, he's pretty cute as well, but Blaine was something else entirely. Kurt snaps out of it and quickly introduces himself, not wanting to make the other boy uncomfortable. "Hello, Blaine, nice to meet you."

Blaine stood there quietly, not saying anything. There was an awkward silence as Blaine looked at him for a minute. Blaine gives him a tight-lipped smile and a nod before walking toward the food.

Kurt frowns a little and looks down, damn, what was that about? It had been going so well. All the other guys were looking at each other strangely also. David turns to follow Blaine with a frown.

David finds Blaine in the back of the lunch line, not sure why he just snubbed the perfectly nice new guy that he's pretty sure plays for Blaine's team. He stands behind Blaine for a minute and just stares. When he gets nothing from his friend, he breaks the silence. "Okay, so, do you know him from somewhere?"

Blaine turns around with a frown, "Who Kurt? No, why you would ask that." Truthfully, he just doesn't want to tell David what just happened. All his life he's been Mister Charming, he could talk to anyone about anything. His eyes met Kurt's and he just froze up. Something intimidated him, he just froze.

David frowns in confusion, "Well, because you just snubbed the hell out of him. Since when do you do that, man? You know, there's a reason the Headmaster has you greet the new students. Did Wes knock you over the head or something?"

Blaine shook his head with a tight smile, "No I didn't, I totally talked to him."

"No you didn't, you nodded and walked away. He probably thinks you don't like him now."

"I don't even know him!" Blaine laughs incredulously. On the inside, feeling even more nervous. He's already made a bad impression on him, now Kurt's going to hate him.

"Exactly, go over there and say hey. He doesn't bite, really. He did do something slightly frightening earlier, but that's a story for later that you'll really wanna hear." David chuckles at the frightened look on Wes's face that he'll have stenciled into his memory for life.

Blaine was barely listening as he tries to get it the hell together. What's wrong with him?

Blaine goes back to their normal table where Jeff is talking to the new student energetically. Now why can't he do that? Now afraid of making the poor kid more uncomfortable, he sits diagonal from Kurt, next to Wes, but catching Kurt's attention. Kurt looks over and noticed, looks sad for a minute before going back to his conversation. Wes elbows Blaine and frowns, whispering, "What the hell, Blaine."

Blaine just shrugs, feeling very small. He did the wrong thing again. This is new to him, making friend has always been a breeze. But everything is just stuck.

Kurt looks back away from Blaine, not understanding why this boy disliked him already. He didn't even say anything to him. Maybe Blaine figured out he was checking him out. Shit, of course that's it. Being gay has been the source of his problems since the very beginning. Well he refuses to be treated badly by yet another homophobe. So, he'll just focus on the ones who want him there. He continues his conversation with Jeff, telling him about himself as instructed.

"Well, I'm from Lima, I was a student at McKinley High. I was part of the New Directions. I'm obsessed with fashion and music. I was the only out kid at my school, which I guess tells you a lot about why I'm here." He would not spend a second in the closet, not for anyone. Now, if they wanted to hate him, they can do so honestly.

Nicks frowns sadly, "I'm sorry they gave you a hard time for that, Kurt. You don't have to worry about that here."

"That was the idea," Kurt said dryly, looking at Blaine from the corner of his eyes, seeing the other boy staring straight at him. He turns back away and continues, "Don't feel too bad for me, I had friends in my glee club. I guess they had my back as much as they could."

Jeff nods silently, figuring there was more to the story. But that could wait another day. He didn't want to stress the boy out. "Well, how about we go through your schedule and we can walk you to your classes, that way when Monday comes, you'll have an idea where they are, if we aren't around."

Kurt nods happily, "I'd really appreciate that," he smiles at Wes for a second before continuing. "Wes was a great tour guide, but he didn't actually tell me what any of the classrooms were. He just pointed at every door and said, class."

David nods and rolls his eyes, it was really annoying.

Wes frowns and folds his arms, "I was being entertaining, his dad loved me."

Kurt chuckled, making Blaine look at him again, "He strangely did."

The boys get up and all of them, apart from Blaine, escort Kurt to his room to get his schedule.

Jeff looks at the schedule curiously and grins when he reads it. "You'll be with us most of the day! Your first two with me, Nick, and David, one on your own before lunch, then Government with Blaine, and then Math with all of us!"

Kurt stiffens a little at the mention of Blaine, "Guys, I don't think he likes me much." He shrugs, "It's okay though, really." It wasn't, though. He really wanted Blaine to like him but of course he wasn't going to say that.

Jeff's face falls and looks around for Blaine, not seeing him. "I don't know what's going on with him, but I promise he's a nice guy. This is not typical behavior for him."

Kurt hums and nods his head, that's what his former bully's father said about the person that threatened his life. Not that this is even close to the same level. But he walked with his new friends to his classes. Maybe eventually Blaine would get used to the idea of him being gay. Then they could at least be on good terms, if not friends.
