"Sweet Sugarcube Delivery is here!"

Pinkie Pie entered the one of many guest rooms in Twilight's castle, pushing a cart full of delectable treats.

This was the room Rouge the Bat was being housed in.

Rouge was having a slumber party with Amy, Blaze, Fluttershy, and Rarity. As Pinkie had rolled in, they were sitting on the floor, playing a familiar game.

The groups' conversation of giggles paused, and Rarity stood first.

"Thank you for coming on such sort and late notice, darling."

Pinkie smiled. "No Problem rarity, anything for good friends!"

The small group of girls stood, and waked over to the cart grabbing their respective treats and paying pinkie. In bits, of course.

"I heard a lot of giggling from you guys, watcha doing?"

"Playing a game the others have called, "Truth or Dare."" Blaze answered, eating a piece of candy.

Pinkie gasped happily.

"A Game? Ooooh, I can I play?"

Rouge suddenly smirked, a thought occurring in her mind. The others were confused, and they all went to sit in a circle.

"Sure hon. You know how it works?"

"Uh, Yeah, Duh! I wouldn't be here if I didn't know how to play!"

Fluttershy looked to Pinkie with concern.

"Are you sure Pinkie? I don't mean to be rude, but, last time we played, you didn't enjoy it much."

Pinkie smiled.

"I'll be fine this time!"

Fluttershy was still worried, but let Rouge take over the conversation.

Rouge looked at Amy and Rarity with a smirk.

Suddenly, the two realized what she was about to ask Pinkie.

"Pinkie, Truth or Dare?"

"Uhhhh, Dare! Dares are always more fun than Truths!"

Rouge's smirk grew larger.

"Pinkie, I dare you to go kiss Shadow!"

Amy, Blaze, Fluttershy and Rarity gasped.

Pinkie Pie suddenly jumped up, realization hitting her face, as well as a red blush covering her nose.

"W-WHAT?!"

Rouge's grin was one of enjoyment.

"You heard. And you can't back out of a dare."

Pinkie was left speechless, and red-faced.

Fluttershy suddenly jumped up.

"Wait, Pinkie doesn't have to do that!"

Rouge crossed her arms, still smirking.

"Yes she does."

Amy and Rarity were silent. They wanted to defend Pinkie from this request, but at the same time, both wanted to see the ShadPie ship set sail.

Blaze decided to speak up.

"Rouge, based off of how Shadow usually acts, I don't think it would be wise to get him flustered."

Rouge looked around at the others. "Ladies, you just don't know Shadow like I do. I'm sure you'll be fine Pinkie." Rouge then looked at Pinkie, and gave her a wink.

Only her and the mane 5 knew that she and Shadow were actually very good friends.

Pinkie sighed, and turned away from the group.

"I'll be fine Fluttershy."

She quickly ran out of the room, Fluttershy still concerned. She knew that Shadow wouldn't ever hurt her, but she was still concerned about the two's friendship. Rouge abruptly stood, and began walking forward.

"I'll follow behind her, just in case if anything goes awry."

Fluttershy sighed, and nodded.

Rouge flew out of the room, letting the girls continue the game.

Pinkie Pie had seen Shadow walking over to Sonic's room a couple of hours ago, so she decided to try there first.

As she slowly walked up to the door, she herd quite a commotion, mainly the deep, soft, soothing voice of the one she loved so much.

Yes, she did have feelings for the ultimate life form.

She pressed her ear against the door.

"All of you are idiots. First off, Silver, Tails. Don't you know anything about Fluttershy and Rarity? They already have boyfriends."

There was a quick silence before Shadow spoke again.

"And if you're about to say, yes, I've herd that Rainbow also has a boyfriend, so don't even ask. The only one of you I see working out is you, Knuckles, with Rouge. And I'm only saying that because I know her." He shifted his words to someone else.

"Oh, and Sonic. Maybe you could work with a certain hedgehog, if you'd ever admit to yourself about her."

Sonic scoffed, and sounded nervous. If Pinkie could see it, he would definitely have a blush on his face.

"Amy? Ha, ah, n-no. Definitely not."

(inside view.)

Shadow sighed, and rolled his eyes. He had just finished putting the love deprived and love denying anthros in their place, defending the mane 6 along the way.

"All of you are lovesick."

Shadow turned from the group, when Sonic suddenly spoke loudly.

"What about you then, Shadow? You've got to be crushing on someone."

Shadow scoffed.

"Love is not a concern of mine, Sonic."

He was lying through his teeth, but the boys didn't seem to notice.

"Come on man, you've got to have at least a small amount of romantic feelings in there!" Silver pressed, Shadow continuing to walk over to the door.

"It's going to happen to you sooner or later." Tails urged, joining in.

Shadow had his hand on the doorknob.

Pinkie realized he was at the door, and quickly moved away. She was still stood in front of the door.

"Shadow, If you say there's a chance with me and Rouge, there is probably someone waiting for you out there right now."

Shadow rolled his eyes, and turned to face the door.

Sonic spoke once more.

"Come on Shadow, who are you crushing on?"

Shadow opened the door, and was pleasantly surprised to see Pinkie Pie standing there. Pinkie's eyes widened.

"Pinkie Pie?"

Pinkie was still not prepared to see him, even after readying herself. His eyes were always the first thing to grab her attention. Shining, ruby red eyes. She felt herself become red. Slowly, she inhaled. But then the words came pouring out.

"IwasdeliveringsomepastriestoRouge'sslumberpartywhensheaskedmetoplaytruthordare,andIsaidofcource becauseIloveplayinggames,andthenshemademe,Amy,Blaze,Rarity,andFluttershysitinacircle,butwhatshedaredme wastotallycrazyandemabarrassing,andshe-she-she-shedaredmetokissyousonowIhavetokissyoubeacuseyoujustcan't-"

Shadow suddenly interrupted by closing her mouth with his hand.

"Pinkie! Stop."

She was wide eyed, and still burning red. She nodded her head.

Shadow glanced behind him, and saw that this allies were all watching them intensely. Shadow knew he had to him and Pinkie out of here.

He suddenly scowled, and lit a false fire in his eyes and voice.

"No. No, Absolutely not! If they want something talk about, I'll give them something to talk about!" He grabbed pinkie's hoof aggressively, and angerly marched out and down the hallway.

"Oh boy, Rouge is going to get it now." Sonic spoke, his eyes still on the open doorway.

Pinkie knew that Shadow wasn't actually angry like this. It was his shtick every time he was with Pinkie around others whom did not know of their friendship; Be annoyed and kind of rude to her. He didn't want others to know that he genuinely had this soft spot. Especially for the bright and energetic pink party pony.

"You can stop now Shadow. They're not following." Pinkie glanced behind them.

"We still need to get past our other friends." Shadow whispered, motioning his head forward.

Amy, Blaze, Rarity, and Fluttershy were having a pleasant conversation when they herd it.

"Shadow, please don't hurt them! It was just a dare!"

"Oh I'll give them a piece of my mind, but first, I need you to get out of my sight!"

They all stood abruptly, and Amy ran to the door. She opened the door a sliver, and peeked out. She was only quick enough to see Shadow pulling Pinkie around a corner. She gasped.

"Uh oh. ...Maybe you were right Blaze."

Shadow and Pinkie had arrived at his guestroom, and he closed the door behind them. The bed was directly in front of them, a few feet away. There were a couple dressers on the right, and a desk on the left. Also on the left was a closet, although it was empty, and unused.

Shadow exhaled.

"Thank goodness that's over."

He turned to see Pinkie sitting on his bed, looking down. She was looking very bashful, something Shadow had not seen before. His expression turned into one of sympathy.

"...Was all that true?"

Pinkie nodded, still not looking up at him. She was blushing. She made circles on the blanket with her hoof as Shadow came over to sit next to Pinkie.

"Pinks, you know you don't to follow that game, right?"

"I know..." She kept her eyes on the bed.

"If it makes you uncomfortable, you shouldn't even take the dare into consideration." Shadow put a hand on her back, and rubbed it up and down.

Pinkie closed her eyes.

That wasn't it.

She was silent for a time.

Finally, she opened her eyes, and looked up at Shadow. She smiled, but not truthfully.

"Next time I'll pass on T&D."

Shadow simply nodded. Actually, he was a little disappointed that Pinkie didn't actually kiss him. He wouldn't have minded. Sometimes he wanted to kiss her. He imagined her lips tasted like sugar...

Shadow felt himself become flustered, and he attempted to hide it by gazing down to the floor, wearing his neutral face. But then he noticed that her smile seemed to be fake. He silently inhaled. If he had any chance with her, now was the time to take action. Now, or never.

Shadow took his hand off of her back, and turned to her.

"Um, I was going to wait to give you this, but I think now's a good a time as any."

Pinkie watched Shadow reach into his quills, and pull out a shiny silver necklace. It had blue and yellow pendants on it, each one still as shiny as new.

Pinkie Pie gasped.

Shadow held in his hands delicately, as if it was made of glass. He looked down to it.

"Maria gave this to me, moments before the ARK raid."

He gently took Pinkie's hoof, and placed the necklace in her possession.

"I want to give it to you."

Pinkie gasped again, looking down at the necklace.

"Shadow... I..."

She looked up to him, to see that Shadow was staring at her. Pinkie could swear she saw a blush on his muzzle.

"This is too important to you. I.. I can't take this."

"Pinkie."

Shadow began to blush as he brought his hand to her cheek.

"I've found somepony who is just as important to me as Maria was."

Pinkie began to blush, her cheeks turning a cherry red. Shadow was now fully blushing a vibrant red.

He gave a small, shy smile.

"I love you. And that's the pure Truth."

Pinkie began to beam, and she practicality jumped onto him with a hug.

"Oh Shady! I love you too!"

Shadow returned the hug warmly, feeling very happy.

He broke away, but not from the entire embrace.

He stared into her sky blue eyes, and smirked.

"Are you ready for that kiss now?"

Pinkie giggled, and her eyes lidded.

"Yeah."

When their lips met, the world around them came to a halt. There was only this.

Shadow tasted cotton candy.

Pinkie tasted chocolate.

The kiss deepened quickly, and the two found themselves in a passionate make out.

For how long, they didn't want to know.

Soon, Shadow pulled them both down onto the bed, and the two continued fueling the fire. Shadow felt his hands moving, to where, he wasn't sure. But Pinkie wasn't retaliating.

Finally feeling the need to breathe, the two slowly departed mouths, breathing heavily.

"Holy..."

Shadow didn't finish his thought, as he continued to breathe.

Pinkie Pie was also breathing hard.

"...whoa..."

After a couple minutes, Pinkie Pie spoke.

"You.. Are such a great kisser."

Shadow smirked, and whispered in her ear.

"So are you."

"So... um... are we gonna tell them now?" Pinkie asked. Shadow pulled his head back to stare at her.

He was silent for a second before speaking up.

"We'll give them a performance tomorrow."

Shadow suddenly spoke loudly.

"You can leave now Rouge. You saw what you wanted, now get out of here before I knock your teeth out. And don't tell them anything."

Pinkie blushed furiously, and she saw the silhouette of the bat pass by.

"Now,"

Pinkie's attention was brought back to the red and black hedgehog's eyes, which were swimming in lust and desire. She knew that her eyes were now filled with that same thing.

Shadow's hands rubbed near her flank.

"I believe we both have a private show to preform."

Pinkie Pie grinned suggestively, and pulled Shadow on top of her.

6:00 A.M.

Shadow awoke to find himself stripped of his rings, shoes, and gloves, his body pressed up against his pink angel. He had his arms around her, and he smiled. She was so beautiful. And so peaceful when she slept. Shadow kissed her forehead, and closed his eyes again.

Pinkie had felt warm lips on her head. She opened her eyes to see Shadow closing his again. Pinkie giggled softly, finally making Shadow open his eyes. She wore a warm, welcoming smile.

"Hi."

Shadow gave her a slow, meaningful kiss, and she returned it, the only sound being their quiet hums of content.

"Good morning, my sweet pink rose."

Pinkie Pie giggled at his complement, and snuggled into his chest fur.

"I really enjoyed last night, if you were asking."

Shadow chuckled. He was going to ask that.

"...I don't ever want this to end."

Pinkie hummed in agreement, and they laid together for another 2 hours.

8:00 A.M.

"Okay, we should get up now." Shadow spoke, Pinkie frowning.

"Awwww, but I wasn't done snuggling you yet!"

Shadow chuckled, and kissed her nose. He slowly detached himself from her, and sat up.

"You can snuggle me at the breakfast table then."

Pinkie suddenly gasped happily, and shot up.

"Really?! You mean-"

Shadow chuckled.

"Yes. We can show others our relationship. But first, we have a performance to give to a certain group of girls."

Pinkie giggled again, and nodded. She eyed the covers, picked up the blanket, and held it close to Shadow, smiling suggestively.

"You might want to get your sheets washed."

Shadow chuckled again, and wore a flirtatious smile.

"I can make them dirtier if you keep making me aroused."

Pinkie smiled with half-lidded eyes. Suddenly, her mood quickly changed to her normal self. She bounced out of bed and onto the floor, tossing him his gloves, which apparently landed on her side of the bed.

"Get dressed Shady."

She shook herself off, only making her tangled hair even messier.

Shadow chuckled, moving off his bed. He noticed that his quills had stands of pink in them.

"We both might want to get a shower first."

8:30 A.M.

After some quick showers, Shadow and Pinkie Pie made their way to the dining hall. Pinkie was wearing the silver necklace.

As they walked down the hallway, Shadow couldn't help but flirt with her in almost every other sentence he spoke. She just had that effect on him today. And by that same token, same went for Pinkie.

As they walked into the dining hall, they felt multiple eyes on them, from both Rarity and Fluttershy, and from Rouge, Amy, and Blaze. The rest of the mane 6 and the anthro boys were confused at those who starred. Then, Sonic saw Shadow smile. A genuine smile.

He, and many others around the table gasped.

Sonic then gave a short laugh.

"Shadow! Is that an actual smile worn on your face?"

Shadow kept smiling, and glanced at Pinkie, then Sonic.

"Yes Sonic, it is."

Pinkie suddenly felt nervous. She hadn't done this in public before.

Shadow turned his attention to the girl Mobians.

"Hey, T&D slumber party members,"

They turned their full attention to them.

Shadow smirked at Pinkie, whom blushed and looked down. She looked up again, and saw the same smirk still on his face. She inhaled, and stepped closer to him. Suddenly Shadow swept her off her feet, dipped her, and gave her a strong and passion-filled kiss.

Gasps were let out from everyone.

Pinkie was wide-eyed at first, but she quickly fell into the kiss, probably getting a little more into it than she intended to.

They departed, with playful smiles and silent chuckles. Shadow let her out of the stance, and put an arm around her.

Shadow glanced at them all, but more specifically Rouge. Everyone had their mouths agape, stunned into silence.

"How's that for finishing a Dare?"

Nobody spoke, until Sonic did.

"OOOHHH MY GGGGOOOODDDDD!"

Shadow chuckled, and turned his head to him.

"I took what you said into consideration faker, and yeah, I did have a crush." He turned to Pinkie with a smile.

Pinkie giggled, and beamed.

"He's talking about me!"

"...Uh, yeah, we know." Twilight spoke, feeling a shared smile upon her friends, and herself.

The boys were all still in shock, and still processing what exactly happened.

Amy jumped up from her seat.

"OMG! THE SHIP HAS ACTUALLY SET SAIL!" Amy squeed, and started hopping happily.

Rouge smirked.

"It's about time. Although, I would have never guessed you two would be so heated."

The couple blushed at her remark, and the two slightly moved away from each other, remembering her ...intrusion the night before.

"You have me proven me wrong, Pinkie Pie. I formally apologize for the accusation I had made on Shadow." Blaze apologized to Pinkie, and Pinkie smiled.

"It's okay Blaze, I understand."

Pinkie's friends needed no words, for Pinkie knew how her friends were feeling about it. They all stood, and walked over to her. Fluttershy hugged Pinkie first.

"Oh, we're so excited for you Pinkie!"

The rest of her friends joined in the hug, also congratulating her. Shadow took a step back, letting the group of friends share their moment.

"Thank you girls." Pinkie answered. She then noticed Shadow take a step back from them. She grinned from ear to ear.

"Don't think we're forgetting about you Shady!" She broke out of the hug, and pulled Shadow and her friends together, in a new hug.

Shadow blushed with embarrassment, and the mane 5 all looked at him and Pinkie with a smile.

Pinkie let her friends go, and looked at Sonic, Tails, Silver, and Knuckles. They all seemed to be less shocked, although, still very confused.

Silver stood.

"Okay, um, I have several questions, and I would like to have them be answered."

The other boys nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, I thought you couldn't stand Pinkie." Tails pointed out, the mane 6 (and Shadow) going to take their seats at the table.

Pinkie and Shadow sat next to each other.

"Well, that was a lie actually." Shadow began, glancing at Pinkie, then all his anthro comrades.

"The truth is, me and Pinkie have been real close friends a while after we all met twilight and her friends."

He rubbed the back of his neck.

"I was just was too proud to admit that I had this soft spot for her."

Pinkie nuzzled him, but he didn't flinch. Instead, he carried her onto his lap, and let her snuggle with his chest fur. Shadow kept his arms around her.

"But the whole mean guy act was so convincing." Knuckles commented, suddenly feeling a bit uncomfortable and out of place when Shadow let Pinkie sit and snuggle him.

"Well I had some cooperation." He gazed down at Pinkie, and she smiled sweetly.

Sonic smirked, thinking of all the new ways he would tease the ultimate life form.

"Shadow, I would have never expected you to be the first of us to get together with someone. Heh, maybe Pinkie will cure you of your edgyness."

Shadow smirked back, and rolled his eyes.

"Uh-huh, sure, faker."

As the questions and conversation about the couple continued to flow, the atmosphere of the room grew more cheerful. At these moments, Shadow genuinely smiled. He smiled because of her. He knew that Pinkie had to be the one.

As Pinkie Pie was talking, a drowsy Spike walked into the room. After noticing the cheerful atmosphere, he saw Shadow holding onto Pinkie as she was sitting on his lap. Spike laughed loudly. "HA!"

The room's attention was brought to spike, and he wore a confidant smile.

"I know a group of guys who now owe me 100 bits each!"

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Silver all grew wide eyed, suddenly remembering something.

Apparently Spike made a joking bet with them long ago that this would happen, and none of them agreed.

Pinkie and Shadow laughed. It seemed like their relationship was something a lot were and weren't betting on.
