Kurt flitted around his room today, putting his mall outfit together for later, there was no way he was wearing this uniform when he could wear his real, fashionable clothes. It was Thursday morning, so he also wanted to get a feel for what the other boys would be up to.

His boyfriend had texted him that he ran into traffic on the way back from the coffee shop, so they would meet in the cafeteria. Kurt sighed in content as he checked the mirror and his face looked almost back to normal.

Kurt waves 'good morning,' to David and Wes in the hallway as he reaches into Blaine's room to grab his bag for him. He steps back out and sees Wes standing there with a questionable look on his face, David shaking his head and just started walking, it's way too early for this shit. Kurt raised an eyebrow but chose not to question it.

Wes walked up to Kurt after he shut the door and slipped an arm around Kurt's waist, not saying anything. Kurt glanced at Wes, waiting for some kind of explanation, but nope. Kurt tried pushing away, but Wes would just follow. The other students must be used to Wes's particular brand of crazy because they walked past them like everything was normal.

Wes only let go of Kurt once they got through the breakfast line, Wes would need both arms for the dousing of cheese sauce. Wes ignored Kurt's horrified glances as he put cheese over everything. Kurt grabbed.. an apple. Wes side-eyed Kurt glancing at the rest of the food oddly. Maybe Wes could help, clearly Kurt did not know how to feed himself.

He grabbed a small bowl and filled it with syrup and sat it on the edge of his plate. "Let's go darling," Wes said in a high-pitched voice.

Kurt stood still and watched Wes critically. Kurt shook his head when Wes was clearly not going to walk without him. "Alright," Kurt says dryly, never fully taking his eyes off him as they walk.

Kurt sat down tentatively after Wes ran ahead and pulled his seat out. The other three watching and waiting to see what would happen next, Wes was clearly having one of those days and it never failed to entertain.

He thought of Blaine and looked around from him, he must be almost here. Kurt stood back up, maybe he should make his breakfast for him.

Wes watches Kurt turn to walk towards the line, "Where are you headed, Dearest?" Jeff snorted into a laugh.

"Wes," Kurt laugh tiredly, "I'm getting Blaine's breakfast for him, he's running late."

"Don't be too long," Wes fluttering his eyes.

"Wes, what the hell," Nick asks, looks back and sees Kurt head back to the line again.

"What," Wes asks in a normal voice. When Nick shakes his head, Wes shrugs and grabs the apple Kurt left on a napkin. He takes the bowl of syrup and tips it over the apple, glancing back to see Kurt grabbing a plate.

"Wes, why are you so determined for Kurt to strangle you in your sleep?" David asks, sees Blaine rushing in with two large coffees, looking rushed and frazzled.

"Hey guys," Blaine places the cups on the table quickly, "Let Kurt know I'll be back, I have to get my stuff." He frowns as he sees Wes wiping syrup all over an apple.

Jeff grabbed Blaine's arm before he could take off, "Hold on, Kurt brought it down for you. He's getting you breakfast," Jeff smiles with heart eyes. Blaine's eyes followed where Jeff was pointing, and sure enough, there was his sweet boyfriend making his plate.

"Just sit and relax, man," David smiles, "let him bring it to you."

"Yeah," Blaine smiles and sits while trying to catch his breath. His eyes land back on Wes trying to place the apple on a napkin, Blaine tilts his head and frowns again while he watches. "Do I want to know?" Blaine asks David quietly.

"Nope." David wasn't sure how Wes's behavior would blow over if he continued that in front of Blaine.

Kurt winks at his boyfriend as he walked back to the table and places the plate in front of Blaine, "I think that's what you usually get. I added a little fruit though."

"And you got my books for me? You're the best boyfriend." Blaine looks down, smiling at the fruit Kurt must have thought he needed. "Thank you so much, Kurt."

Kurt sat down and took a drink of some much-needed coffee, he thanked Blaine as well, since he was only running late because he was get them coffee.

Blaine noticed the apple had been in front of where Kurt is, Blaine put two and two together and was watching Kurt reach for the apple. Kurt froze the second his fingers even grazed the apple, he frowns and looks down at his apple, then looks sideways onto Wes's plate and that bowl of syrup was almost empty.

"Eat it, Wesley," Kurt demands and places the syrup covered apple on top of Wes's cheese mound.

"I don't like apples," but stabbing it with his fork anyway, he glares at the offending fruit. "Only for you, sweetie."

Blaine's head popped up at that, looking around the table to see if anyone else heard that. No one else seemed to respond to it, so he frowned at him and kept an eye on him while he finished eating.

Wes used one hand to eat his syrup covered apple, his other arm ran across the back Kurt's chair.

"Wes, why are your hands on my boyfriend," Blaine no longer paying attention to his food at all. Kurt was looking up the map of the mall for later, completely disinterested.

David rolled his eyes as he looked over, "He's been handsy with Kurt all morning."

Jeff and Nick were looking at Kurt's phone as Kurt discussed their shopping plans excitedly. But Blaine's face falls into a frown, "Kurt, what the hell? Wes, get off of him." Blaine couldn't figure which one to glare at first.

Kurt looks over and raises an eyebrow at both boys for the interruption, Wes still eating his apple unconcerned. "Yes, Blaine," Kurt says sweetly, not worried about Wes's arm, he was just joking around.

Blaine hesitated a little at Kurt's tone, but pouted uneasily, "I don't like it."

The boyfriend must come first. Kurt gave Blaine a wink before looking over at Wes, "Wesley, remove your arm if you're not ready for what comes next." His voice low and sultry, his eyes still on Blaine, who Blaine rolls his eyes and crosses his arms over his chest childishly, that wasn't what he meant.

"Man," David shakes his head and runs a hand down his face, these two. When David first met Kurt, and he walked in with his dad, quiet and nervous looking, this was not what he pictured for his future.

Kurt turns over to face Wes fully. Wes was facing straight ahead, not moving, but glancing at him from the corner of his eyes, the apple now on the floor with his hand stuck midair. However, he still didn't remove that arm.

Kurt slowly tipped Wes's plate of cheese eggs on his lap, he did say he would pay Wes back for what happened to him weeks ago. They all assumed he'd forgotten.

There was suddenly a variety of yells across the table as Wes launches from the table to avoid the eggs.

Blaine had both hands over his mouth, David was actually laughing, his head rested on one hand. Jeff cackling loudly, wiping tears away as they fell. Nick took a quick photo to send to a certain beloved parent Nick had been talking to. Yes, Burt. He didn't have normal parents, and he liked how Burt was with Kurt, admired it. So they exchanged numbers before Nick left while visiting.

To Burt: Your son is starting early today

He also took a photo of Kurt going back to his conversation with Jeff like it never happened, with Wes bending over, picking egg up off the floor.

Kurt eventually took pity on Wes and helped his clean the rest of it up, shrugging when Wes pretended to turn his nose up at Kurt. He looked at the time and they only had a few moments left. He got up and walked around their table and stopped behind Blaine, putting a hand on his shoulder, "Come on you, I'll walk you to class." Smiling when Blaine looked up him.

The two boys walk hand to hand down the hall, coffee cups in their opposite hand and they're bags swinging from their shoulders. Blaine's class was nearby and there was a small study room next door, that even had a lock, Kurt discovered this last week when he was investigating for good kissing spots for emergence situations like this.

Kurt led Blaine in quickly and shut the door, sitting their coffees down on the table in the middle of the room. It was the least impressive room Kurt has seen in this school. But no matter, it was perfect for what Kurt needed it for. He tugged Blaine closer, who grabbed Kurt around the waist. They met in the middle for a quick gentle kiss, and then going back in for a much deeper kiss, both boys tightening their grips on each other. Kurt ran a hand under Blaine's blazer, up and down Blaine's side before resting it on the middle of Blaine's back, pulling him even closer. Blaine moaned into Kurt's mouth as their kissing intensified and their tongues started exploring each other. Blaine's hands had slid down to Kurt's hips, the tips of his fingers just grazing the sides Kurt's ass.

The room started getting a little too hot, so Blaine pulled away, chuckling lightly when Kurt followed his mouth. He gave Kurt quick peck, removing his hands and taking a step back. "Kurt, we have class," he wasn't sure if he was ready to do more than that anyway.

Kurt groaned in disapproval, "I swear you have a classroom fetish," rolling his eyes but smiling when Blaine laughed loudly.

"Kurt, I do not! I just don't want either of us in trouble," Blaine reasoned, leaning to kiss Kurt on the cheek.

The two boys held hands as they waited for the bell to ring in a comfortable silence, both choosing to sit at the table. Kurt suddenly remembered what happened during breakfast. He nudges Blaine's foot with his, "Hey, about earlier. You know you have nothing to worry about with me, right? I'd never.."

"I know, Kurt. I don't.. I just didn't like seeing that, I know I'm being ridiculous," Blaine chuckles, embarrassed, scratching the back of his head. There was no universe where Kurt and Wes would do anything together.

Kurt frowned at Blaine's blushing and self-deprecating laugh. "No, you're not ridiculous. It's a limit for you, noted. I didn't realize and I'm sorry."

Blaine shrugs, "I'm not mad or anything."

"But it still bothered you, so it won't happen again." Kurt looked lovingly into Blaine's eyes.

Blaine nodded, not sure what to say next. The bell rang, both boys jumped and Blaine sighs, their alone time has ended. Kurt grabs his coffee and books, waiting for Blaine.

Blaine catches up quickly, "Hey, Wes ended up with your apple, so you didn't have any breakfast, are you going to be okay?" Blaine knew this wasn't a great time to push this. Also, their relationship still felt too new, so Blaine had been putting this off. But Kurt barely ate anything, and it made Blaine worry a lot, like really worry.

Kurt stumbled sometimes, especially during Warbler's practice. He knew the choreography; he was a dream addition to the team that no one knew they needed. But Kurt got tired fast some days. He also could get moody very quickly, yes, he was a sassy teenager, but still. He would also lose grip of his book or phone in his room at the end of the night. Kurt would often laugh it off, and refuse to talk about it.

"It's all good, Blaine," He takes a sip of coffee and leaves out the door, not offering any other explanation.

Blaine's head drops, he should have expected that. Kurt didn't open up easily. It wasn't the right time, or the right way. So, what was? Blaine pouted when he left the room and Kurt didn't wait to walk him to class like he offered.

Blaine didn't get so much as a text from his favorite human the entire morning. Although Blaine almost never texted in class, he secretly loved getting sassy messages about the teachers, other students, and if he were lucky, a picture. Today, nothing! Blaine didn't feel as though he'd pushed Kurt too hard to talk, just showed concern. But anxiety creeped up as he tapped his foot, waiting for the lunch bell.

Once lunch hour started, he was the first out the door. Sure enough, waiting for him outside the cafeteria with their friends, smiling at him as if nothing ever happened.

Blaine smiled back, his anxiety ebbing away quickly, cursing himself for being so damn insecure. "Hey you!" His stomach fluttering when Kurt smiled brightly. Kurt met him halfway and pulled him into a tight hug, ran his left hand from his shoulders, down to his hands to link their fingers together.

Lunch went by quickly, Blaine was relieved to see Kurt add some bread to his lunch today, at least it's something besides lettuce and other random vegetables. He also discovered that Kurt's phone had died due to excessive use looking at different stores that he's going to be seeing in person anyway. Blaine watched Kurt fondly as he chattered excitedly with Jeff over their plans.

Kurt caught Blaine's attention as he regarded the rest of the table, "So anyone else want to come along," his eyes linger on Blaine hopefully.

Blaine made sure not to make eye contact with any of the other boys, just keeping his eyes on his boyfriend. "I'm sorry, Kurt. I have a project report due, Um.. Chemistry." It wasn't a complete lie, he did have a report due, but he was mostly done with it.

Kurt's face was unreadable as he stared at Blaine for just a second longer than was comfortable. Their eye contact was broken when Wes cleared his throat and sat up importantly. "Actually, Kurt. We all have Warbler's council meeting today, actually in place of glee practice today."

"Really," Kurt says frowning looking up to the ceiling like he's trying to remember something. "I don't remember you mentioning anything like that during practice," his eyes running across each boy to see if they would confirm or deny.

"Well, Kurt," Wes interrupts Kurt's wondering, "That would be because you don't pay attention." It was true, they announced it several times. But council meetings were typically only about twenty minutes, then Thad would drive them to fight club.

"Fine," Kurt waved it off, "I have a second proposition. My dad wants to meet Blaine," he winks at Blaine when his head shot up in shock. "He wants to meet all of you. He's invited you guys for a movie night at our house, time and date flexible. But he was hoping for tomorrow." The hopeful look returned to his face as he waited.

"Sounds perfect, Kurt," Blaine answers quickly, trying to hide the nerves settling in his stomach again. Meeting Kurt's dad?! Was he ready for that? Kurt was always talking about how great his dad was, was he going to be ultra-protective or accepting?

Wes sounded excited, comparing notes about this man to Nick. "Seemed pretty cool for a dad," Wes finished. They were always up for an excuse to get out of this school, even just for a night.

Blaine was relieved for once when the bell rang to go back to class. He caught Kurt's hand and they walked quickly to their most dreaded class.

Kurt stopped him before going in, his face serious, "Hey, you are okay for tomorrow? If it's too much, we can do it another time."

Kurt really doesn't miss anything, Blaine realized as Kurt read his face intently. He leaned forward and kissed Kurt's cheek. "I do want to go, Kurt. It has nothing to do with you or him, I'm just a little nervous."

Kurt's face softened and placed hand on Blaine's shoulder before joking, "You, Mr. Charming?"

Blaine rolled his eyes, but laughed anyway, "Stop Kurt."

"I promise, Blaine. You have nothing to worry about, it's totally relaxed," Kurt smiles that cute lopsided grin he does, leans in and gives Blaine a playful peck on the lips and flounced into the classroom excitedly. Blaine followed him in just in time to see Kurt sitting right in the front, that spelled trouble.

He looked around and it wasn't the only seat available. Blaine sighs as he approached Kurt's desk, two rows from his own. "Behave yourself, baby," Blaine whispers, not sure what to think about Trent sitting by him. Both were rather sassy in their way. Trent really liked Kurt, and Blaine was thrilled Kurt was making friends. But the two of them together, and in this class. He stopped and gently placed his hand on Kurt's desk, trying to gauge what his boyfriend was up to. Kurt looked unconcerned and looked over behind him.

"Mr. Anderson let's find our seat, young man," Ms. Hardy suddenly appeared beside him. She was just a few inches shorter than Blaine, she looks up, smiling kindly.

Blaine could see Kurt watching them with an eyebrow raised in the corner of his eye, looking over at Trent like he's going to whisper something. To keep the teacher's attention off Kurt, Blaine smiles back and replies in his usual polite tone, "Yes, I'd be happy to Ms. Hardy."

The teacher seemed pleased, Blaine cautioned a glance back at Kurt as he walked away, he was glaring at the both of them. Not truly upset but glaring hard enough that Blaine knew Kurt would end up doing something. He exchanged knowing smiles with some of the guys who were sitting near his seat. It had been quiet in the classroom since he and Kurt had to be separated. Occasionally, there was a small incident, but nothing too troublesome.

Blaine kept a watchful eye on Kurt, mostly because he was fascinated by him. He was so animated, even when he was looking disinterested and bored, you could tell he was always thinking.

The topic they were studying was how marriage became a civil right and protected by laws. They were watching a video right now, the annoying part was it was clearly made in the 80's and made no mention of same sex relationships. At all, like we didn't exist. He could tell Kurt felt the same way because he would share a glance with Trent and shake his head.

The lights turned back on once the video ended. Ms. Hardy turned the lights back on and was trying to get the class into a discussion. "Marriage became a civil union, protected by laws, which is why you have to sign a marriage certificate.."

Blaine was zoning out again until from the corner of his eye he saw his boyfriend giggling, his entire body facing Trent. Oh Kurt.

"Mr. Hummel," the teacher's voice rises to get the boy's attention. "Is there any topic in this class that you will take seriously?"

Blaine bites his lip as he sees Kurt slowly stop talking and turn to face the front where the teacher was standing. "Oh sorry, I didn't think this video was about me, considering the only wife I'll ever have is a husband." Sitting next to Kurt, Trent snaps his fingers sassily. Those two could not sit together anymore.

"Blaine was able to sit and listen respectfully, you would do well to take a note out of his book." The teacher glances fondly over at Blaine before regarding Kurt again coldly.

Kurt looks back at Blaine who was determined not to make eye contact. He smirks and faces his teacher again, "Don't mind if I do. No worries, I'll get to him later," his voice deepening the way Blaine liked it.

Blaine puts his hands over his face as his cheeks burn red, elbows resting on his table.

"Mr. Hummel. You will show respect in my classroom, another lewd remark and I'm sending you to the Headmaster. Now, this video has nothing to do with sexual orientation, it's about the legal process of joining a couple into a legal marriage."

Kurt completely faces the front again as he responds to the teacher. His voice dull and bored, "It does when it took centuries for us to be able to do so. It took years of fighting to change something in the constitution, this is an American government class, and the government was a huge part of what kept us away from our rights. That constitution you keep mentioning. You want to teach kids, then talk about things that include everyone. Not just rich, straight, white people." Kurt finished speaking, still look proper and elegant in his seat. Blaine felt like he was going to melt just looking at him, Kurt is so hot.

The tension was thick as the teacher's face turned red, "Well when it's your classroom, you get say in how things are done. You come in here every day, and whisper to your little friend and behave completely inappropriately with Mr. Anderson over there and I've had enough." The teacher almost looked like she was going to cry, the other students shifted uncomfortably, exchanging awkward glances.

Kurt looked unmoved by the tears, for fucks sake, she approached him. She's only crying because he's right. That's what these people do, they start shit and then cry to manipulate the crowd. "I know, it's not fair you guys, leaving me to do all the work."

A few students let out a shocked laugh, about three of them shook their heads and coughed suspiciously to hide it. Trent was laughing silently but he was in the front, so he was meeting the full glare of their teacher. Kurt would get them all expelled.

Blaine spoke up for the first time ever, as he regards his boyfriend fondly. "I think you're perfect, Kurt." He winked at his gorgeous boyfriend when he turned around, speechless for once. It's one of those moments when he breaks his facade, and he has the softest, sweetest look on his face. Kurt's face turns bright pink. He was trying to think of something to say, but too caught up in the moment.

Ms. Harding, looking properly betrayed, kicks the entire class out, "Alright, I'm sick of it. All of you out!" The teacher sits stonily at her desk and refused to look at anyone. Everyone just sat silently for a moment, looking at each other, not sure what to do. Kurt took the lead, seeing as he's done this a few times.

Everyone slowly picks up their things and moved tentatively across the classroom, most of them have never been in trouble a day in their lives. Dalton was so strict; Wes was the only one who pulled crazy stunts and got away with it. New students were usually too intimidated to try anything. Kurt waltzed right in and owned the place.

Kurt waited for Blaine to catch up in the doorway, smiling at the boy's half glaring, but too amused to say anything, as they walked by. When Blaine made his way to Kurt, he ducked his head, trying not to laugh as he could feel the teacher's eyes shooting daggers at him. He tried really hard to glare at Kurt as he got closer to the other boy, but didn't hesitate to take his hand right as it's offered and pulled Kurt into the hallway, still avoiding eye contact. He just needed to get Kurt away from this room, where he was doomed for more trouble.

Kurt giggles in the hallway, his hand holding Blaine's tightly, "Perfect, huh?" His eyes were both humorous, but very touched as well.

"Yes, Kurt," Blaine mumbles, stopping his boyfriend at the infamous first kiss spot in the hallway. He was sure the school would never forget the very rare display of affection. As they were all guys, the school overlooked PDA rules like what most schools have. He couldn't help but wonder if he and Kurt would be the reason they'd adopt one.

When Blaine didn't say anything else, Kurt pulled him closer where they were leaning against the wall facing each other. "You're not allowed to be mad at me."

"I'm not mad," Blaine couldn't help himself, he moves even closer and kisses Kurt gently. "I did warn you to behave yourself in there." Blaine laughs as Kurt groaned and rolled his eyes. "Kurt, why did you sit in the front?" Blaine asks incredulously.

"Trent was up there," Kurt says as if it's obvious. "I thought it would be more fun to sit with him, since I'm not allowed to sit near you anymore."

"Well, it was fun all right. So fun, you got the whole class kicked out!"

"No, that was you!" Kurt argues back, "You calling me perfect is what sent her over the edge."

Blaine rolled his eyes and sighed, "Fine. You think she'll call all of our parents?"

"She'll definitely call my dad; she does every time. I don't know about you though, not if she still thinks there's a shot."

Blaine pulls back and frowns, "Kurt! Why do you always go there, it is not like that." Blaine leaned away, he would give Kurt no more kisses after that.

"Okay, you're not gonna kiss me now?"

"Nope, not until you take it back," Blaine pulls out his phone, officially ignoring his boyfriend.

"Fine," Kurt says airily, "Forget your boyfriend, who you won't see for the entire evening because you'd rather do homework, than spend time with him..," His back was leaned against the wall now, he looked up at the lights on the ceiling, but watching his boyfriend at the corner of his eyes. He was still leaning on his side, facing Kurt with his phone out, but not even doing anything on it. Kurt smirked, knowing the next thing he said would rile him up. "Don't worry, I'm not here to stand between you and Hilda."

"Hilda?" Blaine's eyebrow raised, completely failing to ignore Kurt.

"Yeah," Kurt said obviously, "Hilda Harding."

"Wait, did you look her up?" Blaine smiling despite how ridiculous he was acting, watching his boyfriend in disbelief.

"Well, of course. You know, to scope out the competition." Kurt was an old pro at keeping a straight face, but he almost lost it at the sassiest eye roll Kurt has ever seen.

"Kurt! There's no competition, you're my boyfriend," Blaine moves to stand in front of Kurt who was against the wall.

"Hey, quit picking on me, give me that kiss before we have to go to class." They were standing way closer than they typically did in public. He smiled as Kurt's eyes met his, Blaine places a gentle hand to Kurt's cheek and kissed him deeply.

They only kissed for a moment because more kids started passing in the hallway.

"Alright boys," their significantly more pleasant math teacher, Mrs. Gardner, approaches them, laughing to herself and shaking her head. "Let's get to class, alright?" Kurt smiled and nodded and took a moment to appreciate a moment of fashion.

"Absolutely, also.. love the Louis Vuitton's," Kurt compliments as he follows her, his hand clutching Blaine's.

"Well, thank you Kurt, you're always so sweet." Honestly, she heard so many things about this student having an attitude, where he's never been anything but polite.

They sit towards the back, and Kurt takes his usual seat beside Wes who has yet to give it up to Blaine. Nick asked them how class went, he'd heard some whispering in the hallway and definitely wanted this story.

Blaine rolls his eyes as he sits in front of his boyfriend, "Kurt got the whole class kicked out."

"Did not!" Kurt argued back indignantly, "You had to go and betray your side cougar." Blaine turns around in his seat to fully glare at Kurt.

"Your what, Blaine," David asks, not even trying to hold in his laugh.

"Nothing David, Kurt has this crazy theory about Ms. Harding having a crush on me." Blaine scoffs and turns back around in his seat, now refusing to speak.

Wes who had been silently watching the conversation, whispers as the teacher started speaking, "Oh yeah, Hilda," he says thoughtfully.

All five boys turned and looked at Wes in disbelief at the first name. Kurt starts laughing into his hands as the teacher was addressing the class, trying not to give himself away. Luckily, she was talking to another student who had asked a question.

David shook his head, looking down on their math sheet, smiling at the craziness. "Definitely going to need context here."

Kurt quickly retold the story, made sure to add that the teacher asked him, where he was perfectly content whispering snarky things to Trent.

"You know, that doesn't sound too bad, sounds like she's got a problem," Jeff agreed. Very odd dynamic. He'd never met her before, she only teaches a few history classes, as well as American Government.

"That's what I said," Kurt said louder than he meant, but still safe as the teacher didn't even look up. Kurt decided this was the best teacher ever.

Nick snorts as he looked at Blaine shaking his head at Kurt's behavior, before looking back at the other boy. "Kurt, you have to admit, you have a problem with the way you respond to people," he shrugged, putting a hand up placating, "your dad even said it."

"No," Kurt disagreed, "What I have a problem with, is old ladies eyeing up my boyfriend."

"She does not!" Blaine says loudly.

Mrs. Gardner turns around and addresses Blaine, "Let's keep it down so everyone can focus on their work, please."

Blaine's head shot up in disbelief, she had already returned her attention back to grading papers. He glared when he saw David clutching his stomach while he laughed into his fist. Shook his head when Kurt placed a hand on his shoulder to show he was just kidding. "Nope, I'm mad at you," he meant it too, damn it. He even crossed his arms to show it.

Kurt snorted and leaned back in his seat, "You can't be mad at me, people who are mad at me don't get selfies of me trying on new outfits at the mall." Blaine froze in his seat at that, but too petty to respond.

Wes shrugged as he regarded his finished math work, "I'm not mad at you."

Blaine dropped his pencil and turned around, scowling at Wes, "Absolutely not."

The laughter died down and nothing else was said until the end of class. When the bell rang, the boys turned in their work. Kurt grabbed Blaine's hand, letting Jeff know he'd meet him in the dorms in a moment, ignoring Blaine's protests.

He stopped them right outside the classroom, "Hey, you sure you don't want to join us?" Blaine's lab report was almost finished, he knew it was because he asked Blaine's lab partner. He just happened to see him in the hallway after first period, saying he wanted to make sure he stayed out of Blaine's hair if he was really that busy. Tyler immediately responded that they were almost finished. Yes, he knew it was a little stalker-like, but when Kurt needed to know something, he would figure it out. But why would his boyfriend be lying about homework?

"I can't Kurt, I'm sorry, I have too many things going on, I promise you and I will do something together, soon." This time, no lies. "Besides, this was supposed to be a trip for you and Jeff," Blaine said to be supportive.

"Fine Fine," Kurt says begrudgingly. He really was excited about hanging out with Jeff, it wasn't about that. It was the realization that the other boys were trying so hard to keep some thing from him. If this wasn't happening, he wouldn't have even asked Blaine to come, he asked him, knowing he wouldn't come. "I guess I'll see you later," Kurt pouts, and not missing the look of guilt in Blaine's eyes. He didn't think Blaine was cheating, it was something else. Something their friends knew about. They wouldn't hide something like cheating.

Blaine gives Kurt a peck on the lips, "I'll see you later.. and about those pictures.." Blaine eyes Kurt up and down, he knew Kurt was smoking hot even if they've never seen each other without their clothes on, unless you count that horrible bashing incident, which obviously Blaine does not. He'd seen him in a few outfits during the weekends. And he never failed to be the hottest person Blaine has ever seen. How he's able to pull off anything he puts on; he looks like he stepped out of a fashion magazine.

"I'll see what I can do about those," Kurt replied with a wink, "Don't have too much fun," Kurt away before Blaine could respond and left to meet Jeff.

The shopping trip was going smoothly, mostly the two boys talked about what stores they wanted to go to. Kurt was already sporting two bags and was looking around excitedly at Urban Outfitters when he spotted a cute white button up with blue and purple flowers. He tried it on in the fitting room and snapped a quick photo for Blaine, the first two buttons undone and tucked slightly at one side.

Kurt was pleasantly surprised that Jeff was able to keep up with him and didn't ask to take a break once. He was currently looking at a gorgeous blazer when Kurt approached him from behind, trying to read the look on his face, "I'll buy it for you myself if you promise to wear it at Warblers practice," laughing when Jeffery jumped as if he were caught watching porn.

Jeff chuckled as he waited for his heart to calm down, "Oh my god, Kurt. You scared the hell out of me," he placed his hand to his chest. "Actually..," Jeff blushes and looks at Kurt warily, "I was kind of looking at it for Nick, I mean I guess that probably weird, isn't it? Nevermind.." Jeff turned to walk out of the store, ignoring Kurt's protest.

Jeff makes his way to the food court; he looks around and feels relieved but shocked that Kurt didn't follow him. He just needed to breath. Jeff's breath hitches when his phone vibrates and the boy roll his eyes at himself for being so jumpy. It was from Blaine.

From Blaine: Club is going late, there's more of us than usual. Some new.

In other words, keep Kurt busy. Sounded like Blaine would be doing some fighting, even though it had been the plan that he wouldn't. But rules were rules, and Blaine always followed rules, especially his own.

Jeff was so tired of this lie already, but Jeff was loyal and knew he would continue to be. Jeff turned around to look for Kurt, walking back to the store he'd left him at. Kurt came out with another bag, smiling brightly. "Let's get dinner, huh? You seem over it," his eyes raking across Jeff's face, trying to understand what the freak was over, but chose not to pry. Well, just yet.

Jeff nodded and sighed in relief, and Kurt shockingly ate well. Jeff watched as he bought a really large sandwich for Kurt, he shrugged and got pizza for himself. Kurt was one confusing individual. He sat down and sighed in relief, not realizing how tired he really was. "Sorry about that back there, Kurt. I didn't mean to run off on you." Jeff's face red as he laughed embarrassed.

Kurt shrugged, very focused on his food for once. "Don't worry," Kurt frowned as he stopped eating for a moment, "You are okay, right? Do you want to talk about it?"

"It's embarrassing," Jeff whined as he looked at Kurt with his chin resting on his hand.

Kurt put his sandwich down and frowned, confused, "I don't get what's so embarrassing about buying a jacket for Nick." Of course, he understood, but he wanted a confession.

"It's not, I guess, I just," Jeff stumbled around, picking nervously at his pizza. He shouldn't be though, if anyone would understand, Kurt would. But still, he's never told anyone this before. But here Kurt was, so open and concerned. "I kind of," Jeff runs a hand through his hair, pushing it out of his face, "I think I kind of like him?"

"Just Kind of?" Kurt smirked with one eyebrow raised.

Jeff's face heated up as he groaned at his friends teasing, but once he got started talking, he found himself unable to stop. "Okay, I really like him and I have for so long. I don't know why I haven't said anything, I just don't even know if he's into guys, especially me. He's my best friend, Kurt!" He all but yells the last sentence. Jeff waved apologetically to the older woman sitting near them, glaring.

"Don't wave at her, she's a bitch," Kurt says dryly, his hand waved dismissively.

"Kurt!" Jeff exclaims in shock, watching as the woman scoffs and walks off.

Kurt's focus stayed on his friend; his face remained even as he listened to Jeff lecture him about being respectful. "Look, not to change the subject. But I can't encourage you enough to talk to Nick," when Jeff mouth opens in protest, Kurt puts a hand up for him to wait. "Look, do you really want to continue pining? Even if he doesn't feel the same way, you need to know eventually. You were looking at a gift for him, that's sweet and a great way to start this kind of conversation." Kurt already knew of Nick's feelings, so he had no guilt at all for getting involved.

"But I didn't even buy it," Jeff shrugs, going back to his pizza.

"I know, but I did," Kurt smiling genuinely when Jeff's head dropped and he started laughing. "So.. you'll think about it?"

"Yes, Kurt." Jeff mumbled, his eyes fixated on his empty plate.

"Excellent," Kurt decided to leave it there, he had other matters. Kurt cleared his throat and stood up to throw away both of their trash.

He sits back at their table and frowns down at his phone. Blaine never responded to any of his texts, Kurt was starting to feel like he was being clingy, and he didn't like that at all. "I wonder Blaine's so busy doing?"

"Well, did he say he had a project that he needed to finish?" Jeff's heart racing, this was not good. Jeff wasn't good at lying. It made him sweat, and his stomach hurt, especially with Kurt. He was way outmatched here. He couldn't help but feel like Kurt could sense weakness.

Kurt however didn't look up, instead he scoffed as he scrolled through his messages, hoping to hear something back. "Yeah, that project he finished at least two hours ago," Kurt's eyes look up as he talks.

Jeff froze, shit. "How do you-"

"Relax Jeff," Kurt responds tiredly as he pockets his phone. "I'm not going to push you to tell me anything."

Jeff's eyebrows shoot up comically, "You're not?"

"No," Kurt mumbles, the look of disappointment evident on his face. "I know you're all hiding something; I just can't figure out what," Kurt frowns, looking down at his hands.

Jeff couldn't tell him, he couldn't, he swore he wouldn't tell. "Kurt-"

Kurt interrupts he friend with an eye roll, "I'm not asking you anything, but I will figure out what it is. And I will not stop until I do."

Jeff leans forward, his eyes pleading, "Kurt, please. Don't take this personal."

"Lying is always personal, do you guys think I'm stupid?" Kurt's voice rising a little, his face darkening as he takes in the guilty look in his friend's face. It did nothing to calm Kurt's anger and frustration.

"No, of course not." Jeff was trying not to cry, but also freaking out at how mad his friends would be at him for not keeping their cover very well. "Please understand, there's something we haven't told you, because we can't, okay? I promise you; it's going to be okay, and Blaine loves you. We all do, Kurt please don't push this."

"Oh, I'm gonna push it. I'm figuring this out. Here's the deal, like I said, I'm not going to push you to tell me what's going on. I'm also not going to tell the other's we talked about this. And neither will you. But I will figure it out, then I'll decide what to believe."

Jeff said nothing as Kurt gathered his bags emotionless, "Well this has been fun, can't wait to show Blaine," he exclaims with a smile. "And you have Nick to woo, so let's head back."

Kurt walks up ahead as Jeff follows silently, anxiously wondering what would happen next, what was Kurt going to do?
