A/N: I know there's quite a delay, just keep in mind I do work a lot and it takes a while to write and edit. Also the screen on my laptop went out and tried to ruin my life, but I was able to access it on a different computer.

I want to give a trigger warning for mentions of eating disorder. This is something I have personal experience with and one thing I've learned is that it looks different for every person who struggles and for some reason it always felt to me like Kurt would be the one to struggle with something like this.

Also there's some light smut, but nothing too serious. I don't think I'm very good at writing smut. Let me know what you think, maybe I'll just mention sexual situations instead, I don't know. Anyway, I'll stop rambling, I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 10:

Fight club today was over 50 people, they'd never had that many before. Blaine was in over his head with this club. Before it was just Dalton kids, but over time kids from other schools started showing up, probably from social media, or friends of Dalton students.

There were very few rules. The first rule was only one fight at a time, but lately he's not been able to enforce that with over fifty people, and these guys would come in arrogant, talking shit. Another rule, was no cheap shots, never hit anyone with their head or back turned, you wait. Don't hit people while they're down, and you stop the second the other person gives up. And of course, the two classic rules, if it's your first time, you must fight, and never talk about fight club.

They've had very few injuries, besides the basic bruises and busted lip or nose. There were a few times they almost got caught, once when James Erlington from Westerville High lost against Wes, went home and told his mom. The location changed before they could ever investigate. They had the whole barn was wired so when he brought his mom in to show her, Wes saw it on his computer.

Blaine started this club because there was no outlet at Dalton. There were only rich kid games, like golf and archery. But when you spend the whole day being charming and respectful, sometimes you need a place to unleash. Especially after Kurt came back from that game, Blaine needed fight club to keep his frustration under control. Still, his feelings about the club were torn.

There were many days when Blaine regretted starting the club, especially days like this. Today, four young teenagers, barely fifteen, came in wanting to fight. Blaine didn't enjoy watching a giant eighteen-year-old, pummeling some kids. Being the one running the club, Blaine was required to fight at least one of them. They had great attitudes, even after losing. Well…until now.

He took it easy on him, let him get a few swings in before eventually laying him flat. He didn't celebrate the win. He couldn't help but picture Kurt's face watching him beat on someone smaller than him. Kurt could never find out about this. After the kid, his name was Barrett, fell to the ground, Blaine offered a hand to help him up. He smiled and took it. Blaine hoisted him to a standing position and went to walk away and suddenly all he could see was stars. Barrett had punched him in the back of the head.

The was a chorus of angry yelling, and Wes grabbed the boy, shoving him back roughly. Two other Dalton boys started pushing him to the door. Blaine was fine after sitting a moment. He watched a group of boys take a photo of Barrett to add to the wall of people who would not be allowed back. His friends started yelling in protest, one walking towards Blaine with his arms out, blood dripping from his nose from his lost fight. Blaine studied him a little longer before responding. His hair was dark and long, a little greasy, he was ultra-thin and wore clothes several sizes too big. Blaine felt a sadness as he watched this small, wiry, teenager's desperation. There were marks on his arm, whether self-inflicted or not, Blaine wasn't sure.

"No, that's it today guys." His frown deepened when the kid smirked, but there was no satisfaction behind his eyes. This kid was hurting, either from home, or school, maybe both. "What's your name?"

"None of your fucking business," he spat out before walking out with his friends.

Blaine would never see this boy again, but he made a strong impact on the direction Blaine's life would go in the future.

Not that he knew that right away. He shook his head again, his head throbbing in pain. It wasn't bad enough to be a concussion, but he would be hurting for a few days. He pulled his phone out to look at all the photos Kurt sent as everyone started filing out. He started packing up his things and prepared to leave, they needed to make sure they beat Kurt and Jeff returning to Dalton.

Blaine groaned as he walked through the parking lot, nodding at his concerned friends when they asked him if he was okay. He'd agreed to meet Kurt's dad tomorrow. He glanced over at Nick as he made it through their dorms, "Should I be scared about tomorrow?" Nick had spent time with the man, as had Wes and David, he needed as much advice as possible.

"Absolutely not, Blaine. You know I wouldn't lie to you, man."

"Yeah, I'm just nervous, and Kurt's so excited. There's no way I can say no to him when he looks at me like that."

"We've noticed, Blaine," Nick said with a laugh, he looked back saw his friend still looking scared. "Look, we'll all be there, this is the best way to do it. He's a really great guy, and he wants to know who his son is spending all his time with. He's like a real parent." Nick finished with a shrug.

"I'm curious now," Blaine said as they went into his dorm. His back was killing him as much as his head was.

"It'll be good, but unless you need anything, I'll be in my room?"

Blaine waved him out, he knew Nick wasn't the caregiving type, he did a shockingly brilliant job taking care of Kurt. But Blaine knew his best friend, and he liked to keep a distance. Now, if Kurt knew was injured, he'd be all in his business, Blaine knew. It was a lucky night that nothing was visible, not sporting any bruising or cuts. His knuckles were a little red, he applied some cream to that.

He was almost positive he heard Kurt's door open and shut. He debated going to bed to avoid lying, but his desire to see his boyfriend won. He put a hoodie over his slightly bloody tank and stepped out to knock on Kurt's door. He heard Kurt's chipper voice telling him to come in, he saw Nick peeking out of his door curiously.

Both boys were in the doorway after Blaine pushed the door open. Jeff was in there stuffing something under Kurt's been, his face drawn and distant, not his typical happy self.

"Everything okay with you two?" Blaine takes a tentative step in the room, not able to read the energy. There was definite tension, but not like they'd been fighting, just weird.

Kurt's face was completely void of any negativity, he stepped out of his closet smiling, greeting Blaine with a kiss. "Oh, we're perfect, you look tired though, hon. Must have been some project."

Blaine returned the kiss, hoping Kurt wouldn't ask anymore questions, but his face wasn't giving anything away. "Yeah, pretty exhausted," he saw Jeff turned sharply away, facing the side of the room no one was at. Blaine frowned at his behavior, looking over and Nick was doing the same.

Kurt didn't seem to notice as he hummed, his eyes raking up and down Blaine's body, as if he were looking for something. What, Blaine didn't ask.

"Well, I don't want to keep you, if you're tired, Blaine."

"Yeah," Jeff said awkwardly, "Um me too. Kurt, I had a blast shopping, we'll have to do that again. Goodnight, you guys, Nick." He wouldn't look at anyone, knowing he was blowing it. He didn't like this. He was in the middle of this game, a game that would end with someone getting hurt, and he hated it. He just wanted to be friends and go to class. Go shopping with no hidden agendas. He didn't blame Kurt for being hurt and wanting to handle things his own way. But Jeff didn't like lying to everyone. If he just warned the others that Kurt was onto them, they could talk to him.

That's not what would happen though, he knew his friends. If Blaine had it in his head that they weren't telling Kurt, that's that. Also, Jeff knew they would be mad at how badly he failed today to keep Kurt from asking questions.

He changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt before jumping into bed, dreading the next day they would be spending hours together.

"Kurt, what's going on, he wasn't like this earlier," Nick wasn't trying to sound accusatory, but he'd seen how Kurt can be before.

Kurt looked unconcerned, which struck Nick oddly, Kurt gave Blaine a hug and all but shoved the boy out the door. "I'll talk to you in the morning, precious."

"Kurt," Blaine said in protest, trying to come back in.

"You're tired Blaine. Trust me, Jeff is fine." He leaned in through the doorway, kissed Blaine goodnight and shut the door. "Love you, hon," Kurt says through the door.

Blaine gave a disgruntled moan; however, he really was tired and figured he could talk to Jeff in the morning. He slowly walked to his room, and finally removed the bloody clothes and took a shower.

"Kurt," Nick repeated impatiently, arms crossed. "Come on, you know how I feel about him. I don't want him upset like that. What happened, maybe I can help."

Kurt sat on his bed and smiled, he wasn't going to repeat what Jeff said, but maybe steer him in the right direction. "Nicolai-"

"Ew, don't call me that, Hummel."

Kurt rolled his eyes, lip twitching. "Alright, whatever. Jeff is okay, I promise you. I was wondering though, if you've gotten around to letting him know your feelings."

Nick groaned, moving to sit by Kurt on the bed. "I don't want to scare him off. He may not feel the same way. Wait! That's not why he's upset, Kurt, is it? Unless you told him." Nick moved stand up, glaring heatedly.

"Come on, stop. You know I'd never. Sit back down. Nick, truthfully, I think it's time. That's all I'm going to say."

"Kurt," Nick whined, almost yelping when the taller boy started shoving him off the bed. "Oh my god, what the hell?"

"What? There comes a time when a momma bird shoves its baby out of the nest, right? Well, this time it's a gay out of the closet. Go get him, angel." Kurt started laughing when Nick looked flabbergasted at the wording. "Come on, Nick, quit depriving yourself of happiness."

Nick was almost shaking at the idea of opening up to Jeff, he was so angry at Kurt. Nick huffed indignantly and walked out the door, jumping when it slammed behind him, Kurt was an asshole.

Nick took a deep breath and wondered over to Jeff's door, knocking softly. "Nick?" Nick could hear the blonde boy asking.

"It's me, Jeff."

Jeff opened the door but didn't look at him or say anything. Nick took a few deep breaths and stepped in, shutting the door behind him. "Jeff, this would be easier if your back wasn't turned." Nick didn't know what to make of Jeff trying so hard not to look at him. The lights had been out, so maybe he'd been trying to sleep, Nick thought guiltily.

Jeff threw his head back, he should have just stayed in bed and not answered, "what did he tell you?"

Nick frowned, "Who, Kurt? Nothing, this is me wanting to tell you something."

"Oh. Alright," Jeff moved so his back was to the wall, his long legs stretched across the bed in front of him. "I'm listening."

Both boys jumped when they heard a shuffling at the door, "Jeffrey, you left something under my bed. I'll leave it out here," Kurt said, "Figured you may need it."

Nick's head tilted at the words, he looked at the other boy curiously, he was bright red and avoiding eye contact again. Nick rolled his eyes at their ridiculous friend, he sat down on the bed next to Jeff's feet, placing a gentle hand on his ankle. His heart quickened when Jeff slowly looked back his way, but thankfully didn't move his leg. Nick started speaking, "I'm not good at words, I'm not witty like Kurt, or charming like Blaine. I'm just me, Jeff. And something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time, and I've just been too nervous… Well… I like you, Jeff. I know, or I don't think you feel the same way. So, I'm sorry if you're uncomfortable." Nick's hand was shaking, he finally looked up and Jeff's eyes were glassy. Nick started to panic, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have."

"I'm not uncomfortable at all," Jeff moved to stand up, putting his hand up, motioning Nick to wait. Nick nodded nervously, about to pass out not knowing what would happen next. Jeff opened the door, grabbed the bag, rolling his eyes at Kurt, but grateful as well. This showed Kurt didn't hate them, even if he knew of their sneaking.

He held the bag out to Nick, rocking back and forth on his feet nervously. "I got this for you while we were shopping. I found myself thinking about you. I tend to do that a lot, and I had to get it. Well Kurt actually bought it, I freaked out. But I like you, too." Nick locked eyes with Jeff, not knowing what to say next. Kurt and Blaine had it easy, they came in as complete strangers, they didn't have this awkward friendship, relationship transition.

He pulled the grey blazer out of the bag, it was trendy, yet classy looking. "It's lovely, Jeff. You picked this out for me?" His voice hitched at the end, his eyes stinging.

"I did," Jeff went to sit back down, hands wringing nervously.

"Well, it's perfect, so you can stop freaking out," Nick joked, the two sitting with their thighs grazing each other at the edge of the bed.

"Hey," Jeff argued back, "You were freaking out too."

"I was," Nick admitted with a chuckle, he placed the blazer behind them and moved even closer. "But now, all I want to do is kiss you." Nick wanted to make sure he wasn't pushing, especially after what happened to Kurt. "Would that be, okay?"

Jeff paused momentarily as he stared heatedly into those dark brown eyes. He leaned slowly forward, and their lips met briefly, but the second they touched the room shifted and the years of secret feelings and passion they both felt, ignited. Shirts were removed, and before they knew it, Nick was on top of Jeff, his hips rutting against the blonde boy.

"Nick," Jeff said airily between kisses, moaning at the friction. The stress of Kurt and fight club were completely forgotten as he gave into the heat and passion. Jeff allowed Nick to remove the rest of his clothes and they finished the night lying together, falling asleep in each other's arms.

The next day happened quickly, thankfully classes were uneventful and before they knew it, they were on the way to Kurt's home. Nick and Jeff blushed and turned their heads away every time they looked each other's way. Nick was wondering if they didn't move too fast, before they could even establish anything in their relationship.

They both quietly agreed they'd talk after they returned from movie night and would spend the next day together, just the two of them. The only one who seemed to notice anything, was Kurt, of course. His face held a smirk the whole day that said he knew exactly what happened the night before. Blaine asked several times why he was doing that, thinking he was up to something mischievous.

Kurt whistled behind them as they walked through the parking lot, towards Nick's car. Blaine trailing behind, confused. "Kurt, what has gotten into you today?" Kurt has been oddly pleasant the whole morning, and then even nodded at their government teacher

Kurt smiled and took his hand into his, "Just excited to get out here with all of you."

Kurt all but shoved Jeff to the front seat, not understanding why he thought anyone else should be up there. He had a boyfriend to make out with, Jeff's boyfriend was driving, so he should be up there.

Kurt ignored Jeff's expletives and sent David a message with his address.

Blaine shook his head with Nick as they got in the car, watching Kurt get in beside him. It didn't have a lot of room in the back, but that suited the two boys just fine.

Not long into the drive, Kurt quietly unbuckled and moved to the middle spot, so their legs were rubbing against each other. He leaned closely, placing a lingering kiss to Blaine's cheek, reaching up to whisper in Blaine's ear. "You're awfully quiet today, are you nervous?"

Blaine met Kurt's piercing gaze; he had been quieter than usual. His head was still hurting, but only when touched it, he also must have pulled something in his back, so he wasn't feeling the best. He was also scared to death of meeting Kurt's dad. "Maybe a little, I'm trying not to be."

Kurt hummed sympathetically, he took in Blaine's outfit, a black and white long-sleeved shirt with a maroon cardigan. "Well, you look so handsome, and I'm proud to be taking you home to meet my family."

The other boy's face softens, his insecurities fading, for the moment anyway. Kurt was still very close, he chanced a look at the other two in front, Jeff was facing away from everyone. Blaine frowned in concern; Nick's eyes trained on the road. He looked back at Kurt who Blaine suspected knew exactly what was going on, especially after last night.

Kurt shook his head; Blaine took that to mean he wouldn't tell him. Somehow Kurt got even closer and pushed Blaine back, going right into a toe-curling kiss, sucking in Blaine's bottom lip, teeth grazing as he did so. Blaine squeaked in surprise. Usually, their kissing started slow and sweet, but Kurt was wasting no time.

Blaine moved to reposition, so his back was to the door as much as possible. His hand ran down Kurt's side, stopping at his hip, gripping tightly.

Nick rolled his eyes at the two in the back, they had been going at it for a while and they still had a long way to go before they got to Kurt's home. He chanced a glance at Jeff, who was now staring ahead, but noticed Nick from the corner of his eye, his lips twitch into a smile. Jeff looked back at his very distracted friends in the back. He wasn't sure if Nick would be okay with it, but he hesitantly moved his left hand to rest gently against one Nick's. He looks again at Nick, who cleared his throat and nodded before turning his wrist to interlace their fingers.

"Kurt. Kurt, I need air, love." Blaine finally got out between kisses; Kurt pulled back to survey his boyfriend. Blaine was getting to the point of no return and while Nick was a great friend, he didn't think he'd be up for them getting off in his car.

"Sorry," Kurt smiled bashfully, his lips felt swollen and red. "I guess I got a little ahead of myself. Want me to move?" He turned to return to his seat.

"Don't you dare," Blaine held onto Kurt's arm to keep him from moving. When he did that, he noticed the two in the front holding hands, his head jerked back in surprise, he glanced at Kurt who looked back at him nervously, leaning back in, to whisper.

"I promised I wouldn't say anything. They want time to tell you guys themselves. Please pretend you don't notice; I don't want them to think I outed them to you."

"I won't say a word," Blaine leaned back again and smiled. So that's what they were all riled up about last night. The more Blaine thought about it, the more it made sense. He didn't understand why Nick didn't think he could tell him this, but he wasn't going to be that person.

Kurt turned concerned again, whispering even softer when he saw Jeff looking around. "You understand why I couldn't tell you, right?"

Blaine smiled, shaking his head, "Of course, I understand, don't worry. You've been a good friend to them, Kurt."

"Good," Kurt's face turned serious again, "I just don't want you to think I'm like, I don't know, purposely keeping secrets from you."

Blaine stiffened and cleared his throat, "I don't think that at all." Blaine froze as Kurt smiled again and nodded. Kurt was impossible to read when he did this. This smile never reaches his eyes, there's a dullness. He turns away slightly, running a hand across his hair to make sure it's still in place. It's almost like he's icing Blaine out and he didn't like it. "Hey, is everything okay?"

"Always," Kurt confirmed with a wink, and he meant it to. Blaine looked forward again, frowning. By then, Nick had retreated his hand and was watching the two in the back curiously but didn't say anything.

When they arrived at Kurt's house in Lima, Kurt got out quickly and moved to open Blaine's door, they stood and held hands as they waited for David to arrive with Wes, he was just moments behind and the group of boys walked up to the door together, Kurt opens the door and pulls his boyfriend in, holding it open for their friends.

The house was warm and inviting, Kurt yelled for his dad in the doorway as they entered, grinning at Blaine who was turning pale white. Carole came out of the kitchen to greet the boys, hugging Nick and shaking hands with the rest of them.

"I'm so excited to meet you boys, Burt will be back with pizza soon, we got plenty, so I hope you're hungry! I take it you're Blaine," she smiled at the two hands holding each other.

Blaine regained some of his charm and smiled, letting go of Kurt's hand to take Carole's hand in both of his. "Yes, I'm Blaine, it's lovely to meet you, Mrs. Hummel."

Kurt rolled his eyes and smiled, exchanging amused glances with the rest of the guys. Carole seemed pleased and led the boys into the living room, Finn was already sitting, playing some game.

"Hey!" Finn greeted, pausing his game to greet Kurt with a hug and introduce himself to the other Warblers he hasn't met yet. "Rachel was supposed to come tonight but I wasn't sure how she'd be with you guys competing against us soon. Sorry, Kurt."

Kurt huffed out a laugh, having barely thought of the loud girl since he transferred, it's amazing how fast his life changed, he realized. "Probably for the best, I'm sure we'll hear plenty of her at the competition," Kurt said dryly.

"I don't know about that," Finn started before Kurt smirked and shook his head. "Right, I'm not supposed to talk to you about that."

Wes shrugged and motioned to the game, "No worries, we're not Warblers right now, we're not in uniform! Can we join you?"

"Yeah dudes!" Finn responds excitedly and moves to pull more handles out of the cupboard, "I can have up to six. But Kurt doesn't play with me, so we have enough."

Kurt on the recliner and watched everyone but Blaine crowd around the tv. David and Jeff joined Finn out the couch, Wes and Nick sat on the floor, Nick sat with his back resting against Jeff's legs. Kurt cooed silently as Jeff's hand tugged gently on Nick's hair for a moment before quickly removing it. Blaine stood around looking displaced for a moment quietly joining Nick on the floor, but not grabbing a handle.

"Kurt, can you make us cookies, please," Finn asked, he leaned back and smiled at his brother. "Please, Kurt?"

"Kurt can bake," Wes asked, scowling at his bestie, "How come you never bake for us, huh Kurtsie?"

"Yeah, what the hell," David shook his head, "None of these guys can do shit in a kitchen and you can? Holding out on us."

"We don't have a kitchen," Kurt argued back.

"We do," Blaine corrected him, "it's not used much, except during midterms or finals time. We'll show you."

"But for today," Wes started, looking at him from the corner of his eye.

"Fine," Kurt said loudly, raising both arms in defeat. "Not like I'm interested in whatever it is you're trying to shoot anyway." He stands up and bends over to whisper in Blaine's ear, resting a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Want to join me, honey?" Blaine readily takes the hand offered to him and stands up to follow him into the kitchen.

"You don't like games, Blaine?" Kurt asks, another strange look on his face.

Blaine leans against the counter, watching Kurt find a mixing bowl. "I really don't know. I've never played before, I wouldn't be able to keep up."

Kurt hummed thoughtfully, turning around, looking at his boyfriend warmly, "We'll, I guess that means you're stuck in here with me."

The curly haired boy rested his hand on Kurt's back, kissing him on the cheek. "I guess so! Can I help? I could least help you gather ingredients."

Blaine got everything Kurt asked out of the kitchen and went to work. He quickly made the dough and placed them on two sheets and had them in the oven. He glanced over at Blaine and saw him practically salivating over some left-over dough that didn't fit. He pulled out a spoon and scooped out the dough, he walked leaned closer to the other boy, the room feeling warmer as he offers Blaine a taste.

He holds the spoon up to Blaine's mouth teasingly, running it across his bottom lip, before moving it away and giggling when Blaine tried to chase it.

"Kurt, you're not being nice," Blaine whined. He reached to grab Kurt's wrist, but Kurt was quick and put the spoon in his own mouth.

"Kurt!" Blaine yells, eyes widened in disbelief, but quieted quickly when Kurt's eyes turned serious.

Kurt lunged forward, kissing Blaine deeply, tongue pushing into his mouth. The taste of cookie dough and Kurt flooding his senses. Blaine moaned deeply, read to take the kiss deeper when he heard a throat clearing.

"I take it you're the other Blaine," Burt barges in, shoving the pizza next to his son and boyfriend, placing a hand on the counter, watching both kids launch away from each other, one blushing, the other pale white. Burt was biting his lip to keep from laughing

"Um," was all Blaine could manage as the blood ran down his face. This was not how tonight was supposed to go. He snuck a glance at Kurt, and he seemed a little embarrassed, but otherwise fine. Blaine decided to try again as Kurt was apparently not helping. "I am Blaine… nn-nice to meet, you um sir."

Burt coughed into his hand and met his son's glare, "Well, I brought pizza so if you want to get the rest of your crew, and you can help yourselves." Blaine didn't need to be told twice and wordlessly left the room to get their friends.

"He's going to be scared of you, dad." Kurt moaned in to his hands, embarrassed.

"Why," Burt argues back, "I didn't do anything to him. It's not my fault you were feeding him by mouth in my kitchen," he starts cackling again, clapping his son on the back before grabbing a stack of plates. He didn't intend to give Blaine a hard time, he's just having fun with the kid.

"I know dad, but he's really nervous. He wants you to like him."

"Take it easy, son." Burt appeased, "I wouldn't have bought him pizza if I didn't think I'd like him." Truth be told, he trusted Kurt's judgment better than Finn's going by some of the friends he has over.

Wes came in and greeted Burt like a long-lost son. Kurt shook his head as Wes feigned wiping tears, Finn looking at him like he has two heads.

Burt laughed before introducing himself to Jeff as well, "Well everyone, eat up. Preferably off a plate and not each other."

There was a deafening silence and Blaine's face turns crimson. Wes recovered the quickest and whined back, "But Dad!"

David shrugs and grabs a plate, "I don't even want to know."

"I kind of do," Jeff chirps as he happily stacks a few slices on his plate.

Burt pulls out a few boxes of sodas he's had chilling in the refrigerator. Kurt interrupts his dad getting ready to talk. "Me and Blaine were kissing," he said as if that were the whole story. He added after he got suspicious looks from David, "I just happened to have been testing the cookie dough before. Okay whatever, it was hot," Kurt finished loudly.

"I didn't get to try it," Wes frowns, sitting at the table next to Kurt's dad, winking at Blaine who was watching him tensely, but still trying to make a good impression.

"We could always talk about something else," Nick reasoned, not that it wasn't amusing, but Blaine looked like he was going to call fight club in his boyfriend's dad's kitchen.

"Oh, I know," Burt starts again, waiting for Kurt to meet his eyes. "Kurt, I got yet another phone call from your government teacher, the whole class this time?!"

"It was Blaine this time," Kurt yelled back, pointing at his silent boyfriend who was glaring daggers at him.

"It was not, you were whispering with Trent, that's what distracted her in the first place, I told you not to sit in the front."

"Kurt never does what he's told, if he does, he would be sitting in that class and being respectful," he levels with his son again, ready for an argument.

"Why are you bringing this up in front of my friends? Also, she singles me out because she wants what's mine."

Burt laughs, "What could she possibly want." He notices Blaine move back in his seat, trying not to be seen.

"Blaine!" Wes and Kurt argue at the same time.

"I don't know about these two being on the same side," David cut in.

Blaine rolls his eyes, slumping against his seat. "Kurt has it in his head that she likes me or something."

"She does!" Kurt says loudly, "She looks at me like I'm some hoodlum, and then she comes in with this awful makeup on, smiling up at Blaine… It's creepy!"

"Oh, like a cougar?" Burt says in disgust, what was going on in that school he was paying out the ear for?

Blaine winced at the wording, remembering Kurt calling her that many times. Carole who had been on the phone with her parents, came into the end of the conversation, looking curious.

"Who's a cougar?"

"Apparently Kurt's teacher," Finn grins, clearly enjoying the show.

"Hilda," Wes says plainly, as if that explained everything.

Burt looks at Wes a little concerned, "Why do you know her first name."

"My mom knows her; my grandma plays bingo with her on Thursdays."

"Bingo," Kurt says, almost choking on his pizza, laughing so hard. "Blaine, your first hag is a grandma."

Blaine was mortified, "She's not my-" He stopped, not wanting repeat the word, but started laughing nonetheless, silly boyfriend. "Quit it, Kurt."

"Alright Kurt, that's enough. Take your friends to go pick a movie after getting your cookies out. Blaine, are you finished?" Burt's face suddenly serious.

Blaine swallowed nervously, nodding his head. His eyes not leaving the older man as he got up and wondered over to him. "Let's go outside a bit."

"Dad, no," Kurt got up to stop him, his hand on Blaine shoulder.

"Relax, kid. I just want to talk to him.

Blaine made eye contact with Nick who was nodding encouragingly. "It's okay, Kurt." He pushed his chair back and followed Kurt's dad outside and joined him on the back patio.

"It's a bit colder already. We can go somewhere inside if you want," Burt says apologetically.

Blaine shrugged, not knowing what to expect out of this conversation. "This is fine, I don't mind it."

"Here, let's sit." Burt guides Blaine to the picnic table and the two men sit across from each other.

Blaine chuckles nervously, "If this is about Ms. Harding-"

Burt barks out a laugh, "Nah, I just like giving him a hard time. No, I really just wanted the chance to get to know you, without Kurt monopolizing the conversation, he's a real trip sometimes."

"Don't I know," Blaine says fondly, smiling at the thought of the other boy.

"You make that face every time he speaks, even when he's being an ass, don't you?"

Blaine nodded, "I really like him a lot, Mr. Hummel."

"I didn't bring you back here to do the typical, don't hurt my son shit. I don't do that when Finn brings girls here, and I believe fair is fair."

Blaine lifts his head, eyebrows raised, "you didn't?"

"No," Kurt's dad chuckles, "It's a relationship, you will hurt each other. If your relationship is real and worth it, you'll work through that. I know firsthand how Kurt can be, and I like you. I like how happy Kurt's been, he's never been this energetic and enthusiastic about life. I talk to him on the phone, and he's a new person. I wanted to say, I appreciate you all accepting him so fast."

"Oh," Blaine says in shock, "Well, you don't need to thank me, or any of us. He's one of us now, truly."

"Maybe I don't. But I do appreciate it. But I also wanted to add, again, I do know how he can be, and I want to have a good relationship with you, so you feel comfortable coming to me if you have a problem. I know you're in the cute, honeymoon stage but I don't want you to think I'm going to be one of those parents that's going to come for your neck anytime there's an argument, or one of you makes a mistake."

Blaine sat quietly, taking it all in. Nick was right, this guy was great. He wasn't completely sure if this was the right thing to do, or the right moment, but this has been sitting on his chest for too long. "I actually do have a concern, but it's not about my relationship with him. He's been great. I worry about how he eats, or at least at school." Blaine now realizes Kurt was eating pizza with everyone. Maybe Kurt's more aware of what he's doing than Blaine thought.

"What do you mean, what is he doing?" Burt frowns, watching Blaine look around nervously, as if Kurt was hiding around the corner. Who knows, knowing Kurt, he was.

Blaine tells Burt everything, his stomach knotting up in guilt, knowing he should have tried to talk to Kurt about this first. Burt listened patiently as Blaine described Kurt stumbling at Warblers, not eating anything with his coffee. Burt removed his hat, leaning back in his seat, looking tired. "You really think there's something there? I'm trusting you right now. Be honest."

"I really do, I didn't know who to go to about it, I don't want to push him away from me, but the two slices of pizza he ate here, was only the second thing he ate. And it's the most I've ever seen him eat in one day. I'm sorry if it's weird that I pay this much attention."

"It is weird, but a good weird. Kids your age are usually too focused on themselves to notice what each other eat at breakfast." Burt was quiet again, Blaine sensed that he was thinking of what to say next and waited silently. "Blaine, I'm here for him, but I don't know how to approach this. Thanksgiving is coming up, I'll talk to someone, get some advice. Then I'll have a word with him, see where his heads at."

"You think he'll hate me?" what if Kurt broke up with him for running to his dad?

"Look, I'll keep your name out of it, but I can't promise you he won't figure it out anyway. But I'll do my best, Blaine. Alright let's not worry about this right now, he's probably about to come out here and have my head for keeping you too long. But keep me updated, kiddo." Burt stood up, motioned for Blaine to follow.

Blaine got up as well, releasing a heavy sigh, relieved that the older man seemed to truly like him and listened to him. He'd had no plans on discussing Kurt like this, but it was Kurt's health on the line, and nothing could be more important.

Kurt was in the doorway as soon as Burt's hand touched the knob, looking frantic. "Dad, where's Blaine?"

Burt stepped around his son and pointed at the shorter teen behind him. "He's right here, Kurt. All in one piece. This time," Burt joked, his laugh booming loud. "I don't want you kids driving too late, you stay the night if you stay past eight, it's a long drive. Kurt, you're not driving back, you hear me? Good night, I'm heading up." Burt yawned and made his way to his room to relax.

Blaine leaned into the doorway, waiting for Kurt to stop glaring at his dad's back. "I like your dad, he's good to you." He smiled lovingly when Kurt turned his sassy expression to him. "Oh stop," Blaine shuts and locks the door behind him. He turned back around and pulled Kurt closer, wrapping his one arm around his neck, the other around his lower back, Kurt returned the hug without hesitation and the two stood there breathing each other in. "I love you, Kurt."

"I love you, too."

They boys didn't stay the night, they had too much homework and all collectively agreed that another time would be better. Kurt left a note for his dad, hoping he wouldn't be disappointed.

Nick kicked Blaine and Kurt out of his car after their episode in the back seat, and he was also looking for an excuse to have some alone time with Jeff.

Nick sighed comfortably as he sat in his car, waiting for Jeff to buckle his seat belt. The two rode in silence for about five minutes. He looked at Jeff hesitantly a few times, he could barely make out it his face in the dark. "So, I- we never talked about last night, I was kind of hoping we would today."

"Right," Jeff flicked his hand through his hair nervously, "Well, what better time? Is that the real reason you kicked them out?"

"Yeah! We have all this time to talk this out. I don't want you to feel trapped though, so if you don't want to…"

"No, I do. I really do." Jeff smiled when he could feel Nick relaxing, "I would like to start, if that's okay."

Nick nodded before realizing Jeff couldn't see it, he answered quickly, "Yeah. Yes, please."

Jeff watched as Nick merged onto the highway, "Well, first. I'd like it to be known, that I don't regret last night, and I hope you don't either. But I like you beyond just physical attraction. You're amazing, you are the most level-headed person I've ever met, you make me feel safe and wanted, even before last night. You care about people, even if you don't always know how to show it. The way you took care of Kurt when he needed you. And I want more than anything for us to build our relationship to something more, if that's what you want."

"I want that very much," Nick couldn't regret last night, maybe it was a little fast, but it was amazing, and he couldn't imagine sharing that with anyone else. Nick reached over for Jeff's hand, letting him hold it in his lap. "My question is, when do we tell the guys?"

"Tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow."

"You two get too crazy back there, and I will pull over," David warned as he started the car.

"We're just sitting here, David," Kurt says innocently, smiling when he met the Warbler's eyes in the rearview.

David mumbled to himself darkly as he started the car.

Kurt winked at Blaine, he had different plans for this car ride. After several moments into the drive, Kurt sat with his head resting against the window and yawning. He shakes his head to wake himself up, looking over to see if Blaine noticed. He had and the other boy softly ran his hand down his cheek, the best he could in a moving car. "Tired, Kurt?" Kurt just nodded against his hand.

"Why don't you get some rest," Blaine pulled Kurt closer, Kurt unbuckled his seat belt. Blaine took a mental note that Kurt frequently rode in cars without a seatbelt on. Laid down on his side, his head in Blaine's lap. Thankfully, David's car was bigger than Nick's, otherwise this would not be comfortable.

Kurt smiled when Blaine's hand carded through his hair and smiled in content.

"You two make me sick," David said, having watched the cuteness from the driver's seat.

"Oh, let them be, David," Wes says in a higher voice than usual, attempting a southern accent, smacking his arm playfully, "They're just kids."

"Touch me again, and I will beat your ass."

"Oh, testy."

David shook his head, not wanting to get to riled up while driving. The car quieted once Wes realized he was getting a rise out of David. "He asleep, Blaine?" He eventually asked.

Blaine looked over and Kurt's eyes were closed, "You still awake, Kurt? Yeah, I think he is." He spoke a little louder for David. He watched his boyfriend's even breaths and rested his hand on Kurt's shoulder.

"How are you after last night, man? Dude sucker punched you. Little shit."

"Yeah," Blaine groused, "He got me good. Not how I wanted to feel while meeting Kurt's dad."

"It still went well though," David encouraged, "seems like a reasonable guy."

"Yeah, you think they'll ever forgive me if they ever find out though?"

Wes responded this time, looking out the window, "He'll forgive you; he loves you. We love him. This isn't personal."

David scratched the back of his head, "I do think he'll take it that way, if we could just talk to him."

"No," Blaine said, "He could wake up, we shouldn't risk it. Let's just leave it at that. Plus, I'm fine, can barely feel it."

"Alright, man."

Kurt quietly followed his boyfriend to the dorms, letting Blaine lead him to his bedroom without saying a word.

Blaine's heart fluttered when he turned around and saw the mussed hair where his hands were, "You're adorable, I take it you're headed to bed, sweetie?"

Kurt gave him a tired smile, "You want to come in with me? Just to sleep."

"Just to sleep?" Blaine asks coyly, they as a couple were a lot more affectionate lately, not that he was complaining. They hadn't stayed the night together before.

"Just to sleep, please, come on honey." Kurt's hand playing with the neckline of Blaine shirt, "Go change and meet me in here?"

"It's against the rules," Blaine hesitated, looking up and down the hall.

Kurt scoffed, "Well, you're the hall monitor, what are you going to do, report me?" Kurt didn't wait for an answer, he leaned forward and kissed Blaine. "Unless, you just don't want to," Kurt said against his lips, smiling when Blaine opened his eyes back up just to roll them.

"You're such a brat," Blaine complained. It wasn't at all that he didn't want to, Kurt knew that. But it was a big step in their relationship, even if they weren't going to do anything physically. He liked the pace they were going, maybe it was slow for everyone else, but it was comfortable. Kurt seemed like he wanted to ramp it up, Blaine was curious and excited, he'd fantasized and dreamed of their first moments many times, more than he'd like to share. He also didn't want to rush things, but he always seemed to give into those blue eyes, and this time would be no different, he figured.

"What, why am I a brat?" Kurt asked defensively, "Can you really fault me for preferring to spend the night with my boyfriend, instead of all by myself?"

Blaine's face quirked into a smile, "Alright, fine. Let's do it. Give me about ten minutes."

"No one said anything about doing it, Anderson," Kurt yelled loudly as Blaine turned to walk away. "Quit trying to proposition me." Kurt laughed loudly as Blaine picked up the pace, looking around him, blushing furiously.

Kurt jumped when a door behind him opened, "Kurt, what are you doing to Blaine?" He turned around and Nick was leaned against what he knew to be Jeff's door, not fully clothed, Kurt observed.

"Not nearly as much as you're doing to Jeff apparently."

Nick turned bashful, his eyes looking to make sure Blaine didn't hear, he shut the door behind him. "Did you tell him?" Nick wasn't necessarily angry, but not happy that he suspected Kurt spilled the beans to one of his closest friends.

Jeff walked out of the room before Kurt could answer, adjusting his shirt as he did, "What are we talking about?"

"Kurt telling Blaine about us before we could!" Jeff turned to look at Kurt in disbelief.

"I did not," Kurt practically yelled before lowering his voice to a whisper. "You two thought it was a good idea to hold hands while we were in the car."

Jeff nodded, "But we thought you were keeping him distracted."

"Yeah, I thought I was too. But I guess people need to breath, terrible timing on his part," Kurt said disgruntled. "I promise I didn't plan for that. I'm not a liar, Nicolai." Kurt added coldly when his eyes narrowed.

"Stop calling me that, and how did you know that was my name? Most people just assume it's Nicholas."

"Looked it up," Kurt said obviously, he really didn't mean for Blaine to catch on to anything. "Is it so bad? I mean, you were going to tell them eventually, right?"

"Yeah, okay. It's fine, Kurt. But why were you looking me up?" Nick was fully distracted.

"I'm nosy. Listen, can we talk tomorrow? I have a sleepover date to prepare for, and by the looks of it, so do you." Kurt winked at the two boys who looked at each other and realized they were wearing each other's shirts.

Kurt rushed through a shower and moisturizing, pulling on his favorite pajamas and a form fitted tank when he heard the knock. "Come in, honey," he said, carding his fingers through his wet hair, wishing it would dry faster.

He smiled as the door opened and peeked out of his bathroom. Blaine looked adorable. He'd showered as well, his hair curly and wet. He was wearing a Dalton tank and mid-thigh shorts. Kurt stared shamelessly at the toned and muscular body in front of him; Blaine was sexy. Kurt felt self-conscious and was subconsciously pulling on his tank top, wondering if this had been a mistake.

"You okay, Kurt?" Blaine shut the door behind him, walking towards the bathroom towards his suddenly shy boyfriend. This beautiful boy never failed to both fascinate and confuse him.

The last thing Kurt wanted to do was go back on their plans, they almost never spent time alone together. His mind was full of panic when his thoughts were interrupted by his very sweet and worried boyfriend, he didn't even realize he'd shut the door.

"Kurt, can I come in? Do you want me to leave?"

"No," Kurt yelled back upset.

"Okay," Blaine tried, "No to which question? If you changed your mind, it's okay, baby. We'll try again." Blaine really hoped that wasn't the case.

"I don't want you to go, I'm sorry. I'm being stupid, I was the one who pushed you to do this." Kurt's typical confident demeanor was shot. He felt so embarrassed to face the other boy.

"You understand that I very much wanted to come in here with you, right? Nothing made me happier than knowing you trust me enough to let me be alone with you the whole night. I wasn't resistant because I didn't want to, I'm just not as brave as you."

"Yeah, until now," Kurt says dryly.

Blaine leaned against the door knocking again, gently with one knuckle. "Well, talk to me, what's got you upset.

"I get self-conscious about what I look like," Kurt decided to just tell the truth.

The dark-haired boy's eyebrows went up into his hairline. Blaine didn't even consider this was about his appearance, he was so smitten with him it didn't even cross his mind. But it made sense, and the last thing he wanted to be was insensitive when Kurt was being vulnerable to him. "Okay, you know I think you're absolutely beautiful, right? But why don't I turn the lights out, we can cuddle and get comfortable under the covers."

"Okay."

Blaine walked across the room and flipped the lights out, smiling when he heard the door opening and Kurt sighing. "There you are, Love."

"I'm sorry, I ruined everything," the taller boy said in frustration. He was so embarrassed by his behavior, people got naked in front of their boyfriends all the time, and he couldn't even come out in a tank top. He hadn't seen enough of Blaine's body to compare the two, so he had no idea he was so in shape.

Blaine blindly made his way over to where he could hear his boyfriend talking, "Kurt, you didn't ruin anything, silly." He could see Kurt a little better once he got closer, placing his hand on his shoulder, inwardly wincing when all he felt were bones. We were going to have to find a way to talk to Kurt about this soon. He ran his hand down the taller boy's arm and taking his hand. "Let's lie down, let me hold you."

Kurt followed Blaine to the bed wordlessly, resting his head on Blaine's muscular chest, Blaine's arm across his back, and the other rest where Kurt's arm draped across his abdomen. "Am I crushing your arm?"

"Not at all, so don't you dare move."

Kurt finally relaxed as he felt lips brush across the top of his head. "You're my favorite boyfriend, I hope you know." Hiding his face against the other boy's chest, even though they couldn't even see each other.

"Uh huh, I'd better be with how much you and your dad like to tease me. And quit doing that, it tickles." His body jerks involuntarily when Kurt snorts in laughter through his shirt. "You're lucky you're so cute."

Kurt smiled in response, laying his head back to the side. "You did amazing tonight with my dad, really liked you."

"I liked him too, I can see why he's so special to you."

"He really is."

Blaine sighed in content as he felt Kurt starting to relax, "I love you, Kurt."

"I love you."

Blaine woke up the next morning to a weight on his chest and embarrassingly, an erection in his pants. His eyes peeked open and there was a brown-haired boy sleeping against his chest, hadn't moved the entire night. But he was having a hard time focusing on how cute Kurt looked, when his leg was pressed against his hard on. He almost yelped when the other boy shift slightly and rubbed across him. He managed to reach his phone and it said 9:30 am, so they'd been sleeping for a long while.

"Why are you moving," Kurt said, his voice thick from sleep, his eyes making zero attempts at opening.

"Well," Blaine tried, hoping to will his blood flow in a different direction, but the deepening in Kurt's voice always did something to him. He knew Kurt realized it when he felt his entire body stiffen.

"Oh," Kurt blushed, his own body waking up. Kurt moved his thigh, that was between Blaine's legs, experimentally. His hip rubbed against where he could feel Blaine's cock through his pants. He lifted his head as Blaine led out a surprised moan. He kissed his boyfriend languidly, officially turned on as Blaine's hand reached down and gripped his ass over his pants.

Kurt took that as a sign to keep going, Blaine's head was thrown back as Kurt's hip rocked against his, Kurt found a rhythm they both seemed to like, only moving faster once Blaine started begging. Blaine came first, and Kurt finished after a few extra humps.

"Well, good morning to you too," Blaine said as he started to shift himself in his underwear uncomfortably but grinning at his very pleased boyfriend. "We'll have to greet each other like this more often."

"Was that okay," Kurt wanted to make sure.

"Absolutely. But we should probably talk about it before we go any further, don't you think?" Blaine didn't want anything to mess up their relationship and rushing into sex, was fuel for breakups.

"Right," Kurt got up and rifled through his dresser, pulling out two pairs of sweatpants. Handing a pair to Blaine before heading into his bathroom.

The two boys got dressed and took turns in the bathroom. Blaine exited the bathroom, admiring the view of Kurt laying across his now perfectly made bed, looking serene considering their activities before. There was no trace of insecurity now, and he could study his boyfriend in the daylight, and he couldn't grasp what Kurt was embarrassed about. He decided to let it go, sitting at his feet, smiling when the boy sat up to give him room.

"Do you ever think about it?" Kurt started as the two sat on the bed, facing each other.

"What?"

"Sex."

Blaine choked out a laugh, "Of course, Kurt,"

"Okay. But, I mean, with me." Kurt's face was open and vulnerable, and Blaine wanted nothing more than to hold him in his arms again.

"Only you, I mean, at least since we met. But I don't think I'm ready for everything. Not yet."

"I'm not either, but I do imagine it though," Kurt said quietly, letting the imagines invade his mind.

"Kurt, you have to stop looking at me like that," Blaine's body was already waking up again.

Kurt's eyes shot to his boyfriend, who's eyes were darker and fixed heavily on his lips. He bit his lip and decided to try something to see if it would get the other boy more riled up. "I think about you on top of me, sometimes inside-"

"Kurt," Blaine gasped, jumping when he heard a knock on the door.

"I don't know what to think about your gasping sounds in Kurt's room, but let's get food man."

Both boys blushed furiously, Blaine glaring at the door. David would have hell to pay for interrupting. "Come on in David, there's room for you too," he yelled back in retaliation, looking pleased when Kurt started laughing.

"You know, I would, but I'm fucking hungry, so get your horny asses out here."

"Alright, keep your pants on," Kurt opened the door, David had his eyes closed in preparation.

"It's safe David," Wes smirked.

Nick and Jeff had beat them to the table. Nick fidgeted nervously as he waited for everyone to sit. "Guys, I have to tell you something."

"You're not in love with Kurt too, are you," David joked. Because it seemed everyone was in love with either him or Blaine. Some wanted both, David had been surprised to learn.

"No, David," Nick laughed despite himself. "No offense, Kurt." Kurt just shrugged and winked at his boyfriend. He looked across the table at Jeff who nodded encouragingly, it was time. "Jeff and I, are a couple."

Not surprised, Kurt just picked out around at his food. He did lift his head to smile briefly. Blaine smiled brilliantly, clapping his friend on the back, "I'm happy for you both."

"Of course we are, now we can stop watching you two stare hopelessly into each other's eyes and look like the sky is falling every time you have to part each other at the table, and I can finish my lunch," David finished his tirade.

"Don't be such a grouch, Davey," Wes laughed.

Neither boy had taken David's words to heart, they knew David would do anything for his friends.

"Well, it's not fair," David complained, "I want to find love."

"Well, there's always Hilda," Kurt smirked, "Blaine could introduce you." David didn't answer, just waited for Blaine to step in.

"Enough about Hilda, Kurt," Blaine slipped the name without realizing it.

Kurt choked, "You call her by name, see I knew there was something there."

"You are absolutely ridiculous. And I'm sorry, Nick. This conversation was supposed to be about you and Jeff. We are all happy for you both."

Kurt smiled and nodded at the both of them, ignoring his boyfriend's heated stare.

Jeff shrugged, laughing at his friends' craziness. "This was about what I expected."

"Yep," Nick agreed, focusing heavily on his food.

Kurt hooked his foot around Blaine to make up for his joke, snorting when he backed away, nose in the air. "No, if you're not nice to me, we don't footsie."

"I've been very nice to you today," Kurt disagreed.

David laughed despite himself, shaking his head, these two.

Blaine looked bashfully, down at his plate, not wanting to give his boyfriend the satisfaction of a smile or laugh. Truth is, Blaine had never imagined how that could feel. He was a normal teenaged boy, he'd masturbated countless times, but having another person making you feel good, and feel wanted, especially someone he truly loved was a feeling he'd never imagined.

Nick got up, laughing as well, "Well, I think we all have homework to do."

And they really did. School work took most of their time that day, only getting up to stretch and go to dinner later. The rest of the week went similarly. Kurt sequestered himself to the Library after Warblers with Trent Tuesday evening.

It was getting late, he could tell. He yawned and stretched his stiffening arms and legs, looking at Trent curiously to see how much he'd gotten done. "Trent," he whispered.

Trent looked around to see if there was anyone else in the library to make it necessary to whisper. "Kurt we're the only people in here."

"Fine," Kurt waved his hand dismissively, "I need to ask you something, a favor of sorts," he finished with his chin rested on one hand.

"You want to ask me something, or do you need a favor," Trent asked amused.

"Both kinda, I don't know yet." Kurt narrowed his eyes at his friend, who just did the same back.

"Just out with-it Kurt," Trent says, laughing.

"Alright, fine. Well, what do you know about Thursday nights? And don't lie, I'll know."

Trent rubbed at his eyes, leaning back in his seat, "I can't tell you."

"So, there is something then."

"Kurt, please don't make me do this." Trent wasn't overly shocked that Kurt caught on to things as quickly as he did, but he also knew he could not tell Kurt about the club. He'd only gone once, but he still promised.

"What is so bad," Kurt asked indignantly.

"It's not bad, but it could be," Trent tried.

"That makes no sense."

"Ask Blaine." Trent said, it was his thing anyway.

"I have," Kurt said sadly, "he lies to me." Kurt's face heated up, as the truth of it catches up with him.

Trent cracked a little seeing Kurt get upset, closing his book, thinking for a moment. "Alright, well, this isn't fair to you."

"No."

"I'll help you. But not directly."

Kurt eyed his friend suspiciously, "Are you going to have me murdered or something?"

Trent laughed until he was red, "Kurt, it's not that serious."

"Well, you guys are all cloaks and daggers about fucking Thursdays, how am I supposed to know?"

"I'll get you a ride down there, like a cab or something. I'll give them the location." Trent shook his head at how fast he fell for this. But Kurt was a great guy, and all his friends were lying to him. He would be torn about this for weeks to come.

Kurt did his best to act normal the next two days, kissing his boyfriend, joking at lunch, winking at Hilda. About 4:50 pm, he got a text from Trent that a yellow cab was waiting by the school and had the address. Kurt rolled his eyes at how secretive everyone was, thinking this better be good.

He got in the car and fidgeted with his fingernails, only stopping when one of them started to bleed. The car stopped five minutes later outside an old barn. What caught his attention was David sitting outside the door, looking his way.

Kurt figured it was too late to turn back, he paid the driver who shook his head at the weird location and drove off the second Kurt got out. He looked at his friend from ten feet away, staring at him motionless.

"Hello, David." Kurt tried to sound nonchalant but had no idea what he actually sounded like.

"Kurt," David managed, his eyebrows raised, color draining from his face. Shit.

The other boy nodded stepping up to the cabin door, not yet reaching for it. "Are you going to tell me what this is, or am I going in there?"

David scratched the back of his head, his inner panic coming out. His voice was high and cracked at the end, "How did you, how'd you get here?"

"The cab," Kurt says obviously, he wasn't giving up who told him. "Is Blaine in there," he motioned to the door, he could here many voices from outside, but couldn't make out what the sounds were.

David cleared his throat, not yet recovered from Kurt arriving so suddenly. "You can't, Kurt."

"Is he in there," Kurt repeated, much louder than before.

"Yes, Kurt," he looked down but not giving Kurt room to enter.

"Let me in, David."
