Tokyo Ghoul: An Uzumaki's Tale
Disclaimer: I don't Own Naruto or Tokyo Ghoul. I apologize if there are a couple of missing words or incorrect words in the story.
This story will be slow but maybe not for much longer just for a fair warning, also I need to know if I should pair him with the OC or with someone else.
Chapter Three
'AAAAHHH DAMN RAIN!!!' thought the Uzumaki while putting his hoodie up. looking at a piece of paper Uta gave him he read the directions.
'Anteiku... hopefully it is as he told me', the young man thought while frowning. Closing the note he put it in his pocket and continued to look around, Naruto knew he was nearby but didn't know the exact location.
Sighing he scratched his cheek in exasperation, 'why couldn't they make these places easier to find'. Shaking his he stopped as he heard a woman shouting "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING KID!!!". Looking back he turned and saw the little girl tear up until she saw someone and shouted "Kaneki!!!".
The familiar boy grabbed the little girl and asked her if everything was alright, she then shook her head and said "bad men were going to kill her mother" so the two took off.
Taking a sniff in the air the blonde could tell she was a Ghoul and Kaneki was similar to himself, stretching he followed the the two without making a sound.
Chasing after them silently he stopped when he saw them stop at a corner where Kaneki prompted to cover the little girls mouth, frowning Naruto jumped up the roof then put on his mask and properly zip up his jacket while overlooking the men who had Kagune weapons pointed at a female Ghoul.
"Still im not above courtesy, how 'bout it mom any last words for us?" asked the crazy looking grey haired man. At that sentence she just sat silently, "what? there's no reason to hold back".
She looked up at him with a smile and tears rolling down her face, "TIMES UP!!!" shouted the man with maniac glee and brought down his weapon.
A loud clang was heard, the older man blinked and realized he was stopped, looking in front of him he saw a figure with a white mask with only one eye hole visible with black paint going down it while a single Rinkaku Kagune was stopping his weapon.
Raising an eye brow he looked at the figure with his uneven eyes, "oh? and are you supposed to be?". Not answering Naruto made a gesture for the woman to leave, seeing this she got up but stopped when the two investigators behind her pointed their guns at her.
A gush and smack of something wet hit the pavement was heard which caused her to blink, looking at the men behind her she saw both mens heads on the floor. Looking back at the person she saw he made the gesture again so sniffing the air she memorized his smell and took off, the two investigators narrowed their eyes and looked at their opponent with hatred.
Frowning the disguised blonde made quick movements that seemed like teleportation and snatched the crazy man's weapon, giving them the finger he left without a trace.
The two looked at his previous location with gob smacked appearances but frowned, "GOT DAMN IT HE STOLE MY NEW TOY!!!!".
Naruto stood on the building looking at the shocked child and friend, the two then quietly left so he just followed them silently. Jumping on many roofs and dodging looks from people from below he stopped upon looking at the building they entered, Anteiku.
Taking off his mask and fixing his outfit to its original look he walked up to the door, making sure his head band was covering his eye he opened the door which made a jingle.
Looking inside he didn't see anyone but an older man and a blue haired girl with bangs hanging over her left eye behind the counter, the older man was going to say something when he took a whiff and had a curious look.
"oh? how may I be of service to our fellow ghouls?". Seeing the pleasant ghoul the blonde relaxed, "I would like coffee please". Grabbing the last of his money he paid for the coffee and sat down at a table.
While waiting he heard subtle sad and happy cries in the other rooms that was getting drowned out from the rain which made him smile, 'now I wonder what this coffee is, we didn't have it in the elemental nations'.
With that thought finished the blonde looked up to see the girl over him with the coffee, taking the warm drink he took a sip and had his eyes go wide. "This is good!!! hey old man who made this!!!", hearing this the old man chuckled while the girl gained an angry look at the blue-eyed boy.
"HEY JUST CAUSE YOU YANKEE DOG KNOWS JAPANESE DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN DISRESPECT MR. YOSHIMURA LIKE THAT!!!" shouted the angry bluenette.
Hearing this the blonde remembered how most asian countries disliked Americans who were always associated with blonde hair and blue eyes, sighing he looked at her while remembering his talk with Uta. "I'm not a yankee, and I'm not being disrespectful. The reason I called him old man is because of his age yes but disrespectfully, you see we don't exactly live long so he has one of the highest titles that can be earned in this hard world you know".
Hearing this the girl sighed while Yoshimura was laughing, "he has a point Aoi, we don't last long so I'll gladly take that title!". She just shook her head and went back behind the counter, "oh to answer your question young man Aoi here made it".
Grinning he gave her a mega watted smile, "this is actually the first time I have ever had coffee, this has been one of the tastiest things I had in my life you know!!!". Aoi was flattered until the two became surprised at that but before they could ask why he has never had any the door to their right opened, from the opening the familiar woman, child, and Kaneki came through the door along with three unknown men and one singular woman.
The cheese-haired young man and the group looked at each other in curiosity until Kaneki pointed in a shy voice, "Naruto!!! what are you doing here?". He just shrugged and pointed out the door, "I asked Uta if there was a peaceful place to try this coffee thing and he gave me directions, though it took me a couple days since I got lost in this jungle city".
Everyone just raised an eyebrow until the familiar woman sniffed a familiar smell and started bowing with tears, "thank you, thank you for saving me and letting me stay with my little girl longer!!!" she spoke up in joy.
Kaneki's eyes became wide while everyone else were surprised but thankful, taking the case from his back he gave it to her. "it smelt similar to the little girl, I'm sorry", he said with a bow.
The woman just smiled sadly and went back to the previous room, "a couple of minutes earlier I you talking about never have drank coffee before, what did you eat Naruto?". Everyone blinked in confusion at that so he shook his head and took off his head band which told them everything, "this might seem repulsive to you all but all I have been eating were ghouls who tried to kill me".
Hearing this they all backed slowly a little defensively while Yoshimura just frowned, "and you haven't lost your mind from that?". "no though I do seem to enjoy fighting more than usual from stronger opponents". The group of ghouls calmed down but were a little worry until the little girl walked forward, "thank you for saving my mommy Naruto".
Giving her a gentle smile he crouched to her level, "your welcome little one but you should spend more time with your mom, life is short". Nodding with sadness she went to find her mother, "now are you guys hiring?".
They all just sweat dropped but went back to work, "yes you can young man, follow Renji here to show you the ins and outs of your new job".
Nodding obediently he looked at the now named Renji and followed him, throughout the day he was shown the many rooms, storages and even learned crudely how to make coffee.
Finally reaching the basement and opening the door the two went down many hallways until they reached a huge room, "now I'm going to gage you on how you fight so we can put you in the contingency plan incase we somehow got exposed".
Thinking for a second Naruto knew this could happen and agreed, "alright how should we do it? should we do it until our opponent is disabled?". "yes but first hand to hand combat then when I say we'll go all out".
Smiling happily Naruto got into his stance, looking at the older man he saw him get into his own. Going full out Naruto ran at high Jonin to low Kage speeds in a blink of an eye, Renji who was in his stance looked at the blonde in surprise when he disappeared and felt a hard punch in his gut which sent him flying.
The blue-eyed young man grabbed the flying man and threw him to the floor, coughing out blood he was wondering what the hell happen. Sure he was an S ranked ghoul but he was getting destroyed by this boy, not wishing to get beat up to badly he set his hands in a stopping gesture which made the boy stop mid punch above him.
'damn I haven't lost a fight like this since I picked a fight with Kaya, I dread now that I agreed to this...', "new plan Naruto just show me your fighting abilities with your Kagune".
Naruto frowned but did as he was told, taking off his jacket along with Renji the twos Kagunes appeared. Getting into their stances the two stared each other down until a single droplet fell to the ground, releasing energy at Naruto the boy quickly dodged and made a slash at his opponent, hitting his target. Then making a stab at Renji he jumped away when more energy blasts were made at him point blank.
Blocking the many blasts he was given first degree burns that quickly healed, getting closer faster than the man could see he pointed two Kagune behind Renjis head and two in front of his eyes. grumbling he surrendered, "where did you learn how to fight?".
"I was a soldier", was all he said. Nodding Renji gained another thought, "how many ghouls have you eaten?". "twenty".
The white haired man nodded but froze, 'so this is how powerful Kaneki can get if he gets out of his shell', with that last thought he led his follower back to his room. Getting to the blondes he stopped, "for a ghoul just born you're pretty powerful, go and get some sleep you have a long day tomorrow".
Seeing the leaving man he sighed and got into his room, 'now let's get practicing' he thought while looking at his personal coffee pot.
Else Where
"UGH THAT DAMN GHOUL I COULD HAVE HAD A BETTER WEAPON!!!", shouted the familiar crazy man in anger. Sighing the man besides him shook his head, "so do you think there will be a way to track him down?".
The man just smirked, don't worry when there is a when there is a where and we will find them anywhere in time, all we have to do is wait...".
Remember after Kaneki stop caring he was pretty powerful but with Naruto having tons of training in Taijutsu including with that raw power for his Kagune he could easily be on par with Kaya who is a SS ranked, also he'll meet Touka like next chapter.
