Drabble 1: Puppy Love
A/N: This is my first fanfic so please don't expect too much! Criticism is welcomed. Also, please forgive me if there are grammatical errors.
This story was inspired by my friend and fellow fanfiction writer, Zohra.

Eight year old Hinata Hyuuga sat in the sand box, making sand castles. She was enjoying herself immensely when suddenly a boy no older than her wearing orange appeared.
"I'm Naruto! Can I play too?" Naruto asked excitedly.
"Y-yes…I'm Hinata." Hinata replied.
Naruto had a bright smile on his face Hinata and Naruto made a whole town out of sand. When they were finished, Naruto picked a white carnation (1) and put it behind Hinata's ear.
"A-arigato N-naruto-kun! It's very pretty." Hinata stuttered.
"Hai! Just like you Hinata-chan!" Naruto smiled.
She blushed. Thanking him, she ran home, thinking about her day.
(1) A white carnation means sweet and lovely. It is a sign of purity, innocence and pure love.
