Summary:Theyspent their whole lives looking for the demon. The battle is finally upon them and the end has finally come. Who's end has finally come: The Winchester's or the demons?

Author's Note: I started this story earlier and everything in this story is made up. It's my idea of the final battle between the Winchesters and the demon.

Dean Winchester just passed mile marker 208, only 50 miles left to go. Sam sat in the passenger seat staring out the window, lost in his thoughts. They had been riding in Dean's car for what felt like days to Sam. Hours upon hours of endless rock music to break the silence between the brothers.

Dean sat thinking of what was to come. Their Dad wouldn't want to meet them in this city for no reason. "Would Sam and Dad just start fighting again, like every time before? They're too alike for their own good," Dean thought to himself. What could have been so important for him to want him and Sam in Colorado as soon as possible? So important for John to want Dean to make a days drive in 15 hours.

"What do you think Dad wants this time?" Sam asked not looking away from the window.

"Who knows, but whatever the reason, it sounded important," Dean answered.

"Like information on the demon," Sam stated.

"Maybe."

"Hopefully," Sam said looking over at Dean. Sam then turned back to the window as silence swept over them once more.

Sam hated when his father would do this. Call them up and order them to meet him in some city with no explanation, just, "get here soon." Sam wondered what John would do if just once, him and Dean never came, never met up with him. Sam knew, with his luck, that if him and Dean did come, it would be the one time John needed them to be there the most.

"You don't suppose he's found the demon again do you?" Sam began.

"Don't know," Dean answered. "It could be a good possibility, but until we get to Rapid Falls, we'll never know."

Dean looked at the road that stretched out in front of him. The land was flat and you could see the road ahead for miles. It seemed to stretch on forever and suddenly end at the horizon. The road reminded him of hunting. He's spent his whole life hunting, it never seems to end. One supernatural being after the next, you kill one and there's always another out there somewhere. Each supernatural being is one step closer to THE demon. The demon they've hunted day after day, month after month, year after year. What will happen after they kill the demon? Will the hunting just end as the road seemed to do? The road doesn't end though and neither will the hunting. The road just continues, just as the hunting will do. There will always be some evil in this world to fight.

"What if it's a trap?" Sam questioned after another moments silence. "What if a demon called, took on Dad's voice and tricked us into coming."
"He thinks of everything," Dean thought to himself. "Well," he began. "If it's a trap we'll walk into a trap. We'll walk in ready to send the demon back to where he belongs."

"Yeah, I guess."

"Sam, I'm most positive it was Dad. Don't worry yourself, okay?"

"Okay."

Mile marker 258, "Welcome to Rapid Falls."

Dean grabbed his cell phone, "now let's find out where in Rapid Falls, Dad is."
