The setting takes place at a carnival. A big Ferris wheel is shown in the center. The big wheel is white while the seats are coated in red, and the body is blue. Footsteps are heard as someone is walking under the Ferris wheel.

A young female with short-cropped blonde hair is wearing a blue jacket, white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. She has a short thin nose, a small mouth, and has auburn eyes. She also has a pretty slim figure with some muscles on her arms, legs, and stomach. Lastly, she is wearing a bronze bracelet around her left wrist.

She continues to walk around the carnival, gazing at the various attractions it has. To her left are an arcade center and a theater. To her right are classic attraction booths, three of them to be exact. Ring toss, knock over bottles and pop balloons.

"This place is much bigger than I thought," she told herself as she continues to walk.

The place seems to be empty. There are no families, adults, kids, and employees here. So, what is a young adult like her doing at an abandoned carnival?

She stops, having arrived at a small rectangular building that is only one level. Unlike the rest of the place full of vibrant colors everywhere, this building is dark brown with large mirrors to make it look presentable and clean. The blonde hair chick opens the glass door with its handle. She enters the building and looks to her left, then to her right. No one insight.

Suddenly, she hears a noise coming from a television nearby.

"Chris is doing the dodgeball challenge again. This is going to be fun to watch," said the voice of a guy.

"Have to admit that was my weakest performance in any competition ever," told another guy.

The blonde chick walks towards the voices and hears them coming from a dark brown room with gray walls and a wooden door. The door has the word contestant interns on it with the color black. Before opening the door, she hears another voice.

"The Cranium Knights are perceptibly going to conquest the task given their superior physical teammates," A female voice pointed out.

"Ugh, why did they had to bring her back as an intern," The blonde muttered to herself. She adjusts her jacket then proceeds to knock on the door.

"Aw sweet, the pizza is here!" Exclaimed one of the guys. The dude ready to eat pizza opens the door and sees the blonde girl. His face of excitement turns into disappointment.

The guy has white skin, black hair with a green mohawk, and teal eyes. His shirt is black with long yellow sleeves plus a picture of a skull in the middle. He is also wearing blueish-green pants and white shoes with red patterns on them. He has a spiky collar around his neck, a black goatee, unibrow, and finally, piercings on his ears, one on his nose, one under the unibrow next to his left eye, and one over the unibrow.

"Oh, it's just you," The mohawk dude told the blonde.

"Greetings Duncan," The blonde greeted happily.

"You've seen some dude or chick with a box of pizza coming here?" Duncan asked.

"I did saw a pizza delivery car passing by the entrance of the carnival and left," The blonde remembered.

Duncan groans. "I knew we should have ordered Chinese food," he told himself. "Just get in Lucy."

The girl now revealed to be Lucy enters the room and quickly notices the other two people inside sitting on the floor. Duncan closes the door and locks it for safety.

The room is basic. There is only a brown table, a thirty-two-inch TV screen on the floor, a long couch that fits exactly four people, and a small fridge.

To Lucy's right is a male of Indian descent with brown skin. The guy is short, has dark brown eyes, and styled dark brown hair. He is wearing a red sleeveless sweater vest over his blue polo shirt that is over a white shirt. He is also wearing khakis short pants and shoes that color matches the shorts.

To Lucy's left is a female that looks like a typical librarian. Like Duncan, she has white skin but has green eyes plus orange hair that is tied into a bun. She has black glasses for her to see. Her outfit consists of wearing a white shirt under her long yellow sleeve vest sweater, a greenish-blue skirt, white socks that go up to her knees, and black shoes. For some reason, she has a metal collar around her neck.

"Oh boy, it's miss DIT, the detective in training," The Indian descent male said, not thrilled to see Lucy. "Aren't you supposed to be catching some criminal? Is it Jack the Ripper?"

Duncan chuckles at the dude's joke. "Nice one Noah." He grabs a phone from the table. "Someone needed to be at the entrance so the pizza could show up. I told you two we should not have ordered that."

Noah grabs one of his books from the other side of the table. "Think about it, by the time our pizza arrives it will be thirty minutes late. Which means we don't have to pay for it."

"Oh right," Duncan understood as he dials the number of the pizza restaurant.

"Before you call, I have some news to inform," Lucy told the three. "Pay attention Scarlett," she told the quiet techie of the group who is currently reading a book.

Scarlett closes the book and then turns off the TV. "What perchance be so imperative to put a pause on our lunchtime that we essentially need to digest so our capabilities can function properly?"

"The sign-up video Chris made for the new season of Total Drama has been leaked," Lucy told the three.

"This is supposed to be news?" Noah said emotionless without care. "We're just interns. That does not concern us."

"Because of the leak and Chris still busy doing Radiant Redemption the producers have decided to make the new season official and have people apply for it already," Lucy explained more.

Duncan is waiting for the pizza restaurant to pick up the phone. "Chris and Chef are the ones who always pick the cast."

"Yes, but the producers told me that we four will be deciding what the cast will be like," Lucy informed.

Noah drops the books he is reading, surprised and happy to hear that he will be helping to select the contestants. He smirks and rubs his chin. "So, you're saying that we four can pick the worst people to participate on Chris's next season? Nice, can't wait to see him deal with a bunch of weirdos."

"As much as I would relish giving that narcissistic monkey the severest cast conceivable, I am confident the producers will still check the cast we nominated for the new season. If they find it unpleasant, we all will be fired and I undoubtedly do not want to go back to confinement," Scarlett told Noah.

"Me too, I only came here to be an intern so I can escape that crazy madhouse," Duncan admitted while agreeing with the techie.

"Likewise," Scarlett said as she adjusted her glasses.

"What happened to bad boy needs to look bad," Noah mocked Duncan. "Did you drop soap over there?"

Duncan grabs Noah's vest shirt, lifting the dude up. "Prison also made me cold and intolerable of gnomes like you, so shut it."

"You two, knock it out," Lucy scolded the boys. "Duncan put Noah down."

The delinquent glares at Lucy, but the detective in training is unfazed. Duncan sighs and drops Noah onto the floor. He walks towards the door of the room.

"I'm going to be outside waiting for the pizza," Duncan told his three intern co-workers then opens the door and leaves the room.

Scarlett rolls her eyes then looks at Lucy. "For clarification, we four will be selecting the cast?"

"Yes, let's try to make sure everyone is unique in some way," Lucy said to Noah and Scarlett. "I doubt the producers will enjoy eleven jocks against eleven nerds."

"Pff whatever, as long as they pay us extra for this I'm fine," Noah stated as he stands up. "Have to help Emma pay for college somehow."

"Then it's settle, I'll let you two and Duncan know when the first batch of applications arrive," Lucy said and leaves the room.

Noah and Scarlett look at each other. "Want to continue watching the first episode of Radiant Redemption?" Scarlett asked politely.

The bookworm shrugs. "Not like I have anything else to do in our break."

Lucy walks out of the building and then goes to stand at the arcade center. She hears ringing from a phone. She puts her left hand inside her left jean pocket and grabs her phone. She picks it up.

"Was it a success?" An anonymous voice said to the DIT.

"Yes, I'm successfully an intern at the location where the new season of Total Drama will be," Lucy answered. "Though I will have to keep my cover on low for now. Scarlett, the one that tried to blow up Pahkitew is my co-worker."

The anonymous person groans. "I don't why the producers brought her back in the first place. Anyway, remember your mission. There's suspicion that the 'Ringleader' is back, and there is intel of his secret lab is in this abandon amusement park."

"I thought this is a carnival," Lucy believed.

"That's just for the sake of the name for the season to be catchy," The anonymous person told her. "That doesn't matter, just don't mess up and you'll finally become a real detective."

"I won't let you down sir," Lucy said and ends the phone call.

"Hey Lucy, I got the pizza," Duncan called out to the blonde.

"Coming," Lucy exclaimed.

Author's Note: I am still writing Radiant Redemption right now but I feel like is now time to release submissions for my new story. This is the fourth story in the Crowstilloverse timeline. Let me explain the timeline if you have not seen my profile before.

According to the Total Drama wiki, Pahkitew Island takes place in July 2009. Crowstillo Island takes place a year after Pahkitew and Back to the Islands takes place two years after Crowstillo Island between July and August of 2012. As Lucy mentioned in the prologue, she and her co-workers are helping production for Carnival Calamity while Chris is still doing Radiant Redemption, which is one week after TDBTTI. Also, Lucy was created by TheUnchartedHollow.

That is all. Take care!
