Clouds are clear from the sky as a panoramic shot shows the Ferris Wheel of the carnival. Next is the showing of a kitchen with five people working in it.
The kitchen has a rather dull look to it, having the walls painted a dull green and the floors being made out of various color brown blanks. There is a silver dark yellow counter with three faucets and three sinks. Also, three wooden cabinets full of ingredients, a wooden door, two windows to let fresh air in, a brown wooden table next to five chairs, a white fridge, three stoves, and another cabinet full of utensils to use to cook.
Chef with the interns Duncan, Lucy, Scarlett, and Noah are cooking food. The delinquent puts a nice well-cooked turkey that is on a plate onto the brown table. He takes some sweat off his forehead with his right arm.
"When I signed up to be an intern, I did not expect to be cooking food for the newbies," Duncan admitted as he grabs two plates full of mashed potatoes.
"Ugh, me neither. This is way too much work for me," Noah agreed acting lazily as he stirs a pot. Inside the pot is some type of soup with various vegetables.
"Quit your whining and keep working. We got to get this buffet ready for the fresh meats," Chef told the two boys. He notices Lucy looking at her yellow notepad instead of cooking. He grabs a large wooden spoon and smacks the notepad down to the ground. "Get back to work. You're not getting pay to slack on the job."
"I'm barely getting money out of this," Lucy responded kindly. "Seriously, how is this show able to get away with giving us less than minimum wage?"
Chef walks away with a sneer to attend to something cooking inside a dull grey stove.
"For your awareness Lucy, you and Noah are merely the ones receiving payment. Duncan and I are simply salaried for our confinement stint," Scarlett stated as she is pounding dough.
"Yeah, I get that," Lucy replied. She observes the brainiac using a rolling pin to flatten the dough.
"If you think I'll be trying to put poison on the food you're wrong. Even I wanted to try Chef will stop since he is observing what everyone is doing," Scarlett told the detective in training with an unamused expression.
Lucy starts helping Duncan putting more food on the table.
"Hey, if the newbies cannot finish the buffet we can keep the leftovers for us," Duncan whispered to the DIT.
"Sure," Lucy smiled. "There's nothing wrong eating leftovers. Chef will just toss them in the trash."
Noah accidentally spills some hot water on himself from a small pot that was on the right edge of the kitchen counter. He yelps in pain. Chef rolls his eyes at him.
"Who puts a pot full of hot water on the edge?" Noah wondered.
As the five continue to make a buffet for the cast, the entrance to the carnival is established. It is made of pine wood as well as the fences build around it. The entrance is painted in red, white, and blue with the words McLean's Carnival above the doors of the entrance. The entrance is twenty feet high while the fence is fifteen feet long.
A yellow taxi arrives at the entrance. A short kind of lanky male gets out of the taxi with his brown luggage in his left hand. He closes the passenger seat door with his right hand and walks away from the vehicle. The taxi leaves.
The boy has chestnut brown hair. His hair is short, neatly styled, and bangs swept to one side, exactly the kind of hairstyle you expect little assistant types to have. He also has dark blue eyes and fair skin.
His clothes consist of a white dress shirt, blue sweater vest with a horizontal gray stripe, red bow tie, dark gray pants, black dress shoes, and red watch on his left wrist.
The kid looks around, noticing no one else waiting to enter the carnival. His smiling face turns into panic. He puts his luggage on the ground.
"Oh gosh, I knew my mom shouldn't have booked me the early flight," The short kid said with a charming England accent. "Now what do I do? Do I knock? Do I wait for someone? Is the cast already inside and I'm too late for the show?"
Before the question can question any further, another taxi arrives to drop another contestant off.
"Phew, company at last," The short kid said with relief.
The contestant that arrived immediately exits the passenger door and grabs his luggage. The person does not even bother to close the door.
He stands at 5'10 and weighs about 176 pounds. Despite his weight, however, he has a thin build, with his arms, legs, and torso all being thin. He has green, emerald eyes and is depicted as semi-closed, much like Noah's eyes. His nose is small, and he has an oval chin.
He wears a white long-sleeved shirt underneath a royal blue spencer with royal blue dress pants and royal blue dress shoes.
"I cannot believe I had to come here in a smelly cab with an incompetent driver such as yourself," The well-dressed teen spoke in a British accent. "You took four wrong turns throughout the ride, with a GPS to boot. Are you drunk or are you a complete buffoon?"
The driver in the car does not like the attitude and almost runs over the teen before leaving the area.
"Hooligan! This is why no one gives you tips," The teen exclaimed.
"Hi," The short boy greeted the newcomer. "I'm Fenton, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"Boris, now that you know my name you must carry my bags," Boris greeted and gives his luggage to Fenton who carries it happily.
"Sure, thing Boris," Fenton said before collapsing into the floor from all the luggage he is carrying.
"Ugh, you could at least tell me they were heavy for you," Boris snorted.
A third taxicab comes by. This time a female walks out of the passenger door and closes it gently.
"Thank you for your services. I hope my tip can do you some good," The teen thanked the driver. The taxi flees.
She has shoulder-length blonde hair that is brushed to the sides. You can see her blue eyes and her elegant face. She has light skin and is a little chubby. She is wearing a turquoise shirt and dark blue-purplish skirt, along with white stockings to cover up her legs, and purple shoes.
"Greetings boys, I am Hilda," Hilda replied to the two boys with a bow. "Is a pleasure to compete against you two and the others when arriving."
Boris sighs with relief. "Thank goodness, I thought I'll be competing in a filthy carnival with everyone being poorer than me. Glad to know that there is another rich proper person to speak with."
Hilda blinks before chuckling nervously. "Yes, rich. That is totally me."
Before Fenton can say something to Hilda, another taxi arrives to drop the third boy arriving.
The teen quickly gets out of the vehicle and takes his luggage out.
"Woohoo! Finally at the carnival!" The boy exclaimed.
His dyed royal blue hair is slightly wavy and the farthest the hair goes is three spots where it goes to his eyes, two on the outside of them and one patch in the middle of them. He has purple eye color contacts, wide eyes, forest green glasses, light tan skin, white teeth, and an average size nose. He's 5'6 feet tall and somewhat skinny, only weighing 123 pounds.
He is wearing a light green sweatshirt with a bit of it unzipped, showing a bit of a red t-shirt with a blue camera on it, light blue jeans with a small hole on each knee, white socks, and orange shoes. He has a black neck shoulder strapped camera on him with his camera included.
"Sup everyone, the name is Marty. Glad to look at some of my competition," Marty greeted happily. He takes a picture of the three other contestants. "So, what do you three like to do?"
"Not to be in your presence that's for sure," Boris retorted. "And how dare you take a picture of me without my permission."
"Um, sorry. I'm just really excited to compete," Marty admitted, still keeping his smile.
"I like cats," Hilda answered Marty's questions.
"I'm allergic to cats," Fenton admitted.
"Oh no, does that mean we're enemies now?" Hilda asked the short kid.
"Uh, I don't think so. Yes? No?" Fenton said confused.
Hilda wraps Fenton into a hug. The short kid can feel her chest. "I'll make sure you don't get close to any cats that can be at this carnival."
"Uh, thanks?" Fenton responded, not knowing how to feel about what is happening.
Marty snickers as he grabs Fenton away from Hilda. "Geez dude, we're not even inside the carnival, and you're already getting close to the ladies. Looks like I have competition," The photographer told Fenton. He then winks at Hilda who waves back happily.
"Wha, what?" Fenton said confused again.
A fifth taxi arrives dropping off a girl. She closes the passenger seat and gracefully walks to the others. She notices cameras around to capture the film of everyone, so she begins striking poses at the cameras with a huge smile on her face.
Her natural waist length and wavy black hair are dyed in chocolate brown with dark pink highlights. There is a black ribbon tied at the back of her hair. She has black eyes, a nice face, and ivory skin. Her body is skinny, almost looking like a stick, but she doesn't mind. She stands at 5'10 and weighs 108 lbs.
Her outfit is a fitted white turtleneck sweater, black skinny jeans held by a black belt, and black heeled boots that reach just past her ankles. She also has a silver ear piercing on her left ear but has silver heart earrings on both. She also wears a silver-white necklace.
"안녕하세요 여러분, 그것은 당신의 우상입니다, Choi Sua!" Sua greeted the cameras and everyone, using her hands as peace signs.
"What the bloody hell is that lady saying?" Boris wondered.
"I have no idea," Hilda commented.
"And the girls just keep getting better and better," Marty said, not noticing the raised eyebrow look Hilda is giving him. He puts his camera up to his head to take a picture of Sua. "Smile hot stuff."
Sua turns to look at Marty with confusion and happiness. "Oh, hi there! My name is Choi Sua and…"
SNAP!
Marty takes a picture of Sua with the flash from the camera on. This blinds Sua greatly and makes her walk weirdly.
"Hello, is anyone there?" Sua asked with her Korean accent. She walks to the entrance and her head hits the door to the carnival and falls to the ground.
Boris points and laughs at her.
"How immature," Hilda muttered to herself as she and Fenton help the girl up.
Marty turns off his camera, not wanting to possibly make enemies right at the start of the game. He frowns until another taxi pops by.
Another female walks out of the taxi and thanks the driver.
She has blonde wavy hair that reaches her mid-back. The tip of her hair is dyed green. She has blue eyes, pale skin, light freckles on her face. She stands five foot two inches and weighs 121 lbs. She has a small petite figure.
She is wearing a green off-shoulder blouse with blue skinny jeans and green sneakers.
"Hello everyone," She greeted the other five contestants. "Did you know Philip Astley was the first to ever create a circus in 1770 London? I know we're not at a circus, but carnivals were inspired by them."
"No, but that's pretty cool you know that," Marty admitted. "Smart and beautiful, I like it."
The new girl immediately flushes and plays with her hair.
"No one cares about that. Besides, we're at a carnival," Boris said looking at the girl. "And let me be frank that your outfit is atrocious."
"But this is my favorite one," The blonde girl with dyed green tips responded worryingly.
Hilda walks up to her. "Don't listen to him. He's just very snooty. I'm Hilda and you are?"
"Oh, I'm Meredith. But please call me Marie," Meredith said smiling.
"If your Mary I'm your Joseph," Marty flirted and winks at Meredith.
Meredith gets flustered again.
Fenton and Sua notice a very small taxi arriving at the place. Everyone looks confused at the small vehicle. Carnival music starts to play in the background.
The person that somehow can get out of the small taxi jumps from her seat and smiles happily. The girl is wearing a clown costume.
Her wig, which goes with her clown outfit, has red bangs with pink highlights that are swept to the left of her head. There are two large pigtails as part of the wig, both mixed shades of blue and cyan. She has bright blue eyes that are calm looking, powdered white skin due to her makeup, her face has the same makeup as well, red lipstick on her lips, a red clown nose, and purple dots under her eyes. She has a slim well-toned body.
Her clown outfit consists of a bright yellow billowy shirt with green overalls and red clown shoes.
She has a clown horn on her left hand and honks it.
"Clown!" Meredith exclaimed. She runs to the nearest bush and jumps in it to hide. "What is that thing doing here!?"
"It is disgusting," Boris added insultingly.
The clown girl tries to get close to Meredith who is still in the bush.
"Get away from me you monster," Meredith exclaimed with fear.
The clown girl frowns. Hilda and Fenton approach her for comfort.
"Don't worry, she probably has coulrophobia," Hilda told the clown.
"Why would she sign up to this place if there's a possibility a clown or clowns will show up," Fenton wondered. "I guess she didn't expect it."
"What's your name?" Sua asked the clown.
The clown opens one of her luggage to give a piece of paper to each person near her.
"JJ," Fenton read the letter.
"Wait, you gave them paper to give your name? Are you mute by any chance?" Marty asked JJ. "At least when I flirt with shy girls, they say a sentence."
JJ nods, confirming she is mute.
"That's cool, put it there JJ," Sua told the silent clown, extending her left arm for a handshake. "This is what people do here right?"
JJ shakes Sua's left hand with her right. Choi Sua is then electrocuted and falls to the ground again.
JJ shows a joy buzzer in her right hand. Boris laughs again at Sua.
Three taxis arrive at the same to drop off more contestants.
The first contestant to get out is a girl that has a shattered bob black hairstyle that reaches her neck. She also has dark brown eyes and olive skin. She has some faint scars from her acne. She is short with a petite build.
She is wearing a Linen lilac t-shirt, gold necklace, sky blue baggy cargo pants with white streaks decorating the outside, white socks, and purple high tops.
This teen is currently playing a video game on a Game-guy, avoiding eye contact from everyone.
The second person to step out of a taxi is a boy with short black hair to the sides that covers half of his face. He has ivory skin, black eyes, a thin body at five feet, and four inches tall with long slender fingers. He wears a black turtle-neck shirt with long sleeves, black sneakers, and black jeans.
He makes sure to distance himself from everyone while walking. "Whatever," He said as he rolls his eyes.
The next contestant seems to be friendlier as he waves hello to everyone before taking out his luggage from inside the vehicle.
He has short black hair that is slicked back, blue eyes, light brown skin, a handsome face, and has medium-sized eyes with neatly trimmed eyebrows. He also has an average-sized nose, small lips, and small cheekbones. His body is physically fit.
He wears a formal navy-blue dress shirt with brown khakis, a pair of black socks, and hiking boots.
"Greetings everyone is a pleasure to meet you all," The teen spoke kindly. "I am Axel."
"Ah yes, a butler. Just what I needed," Boris said happily. "Thought this miserable show wouldn't give us one."
Axel's left eye twitches. He quickly walks up to the snooty teen with a glare. "Let's get one thing straight. I am no one's butler, got it?" Axel whispered coldly.
Boris decides not to retort and nods in understanding.
Axel adjusts his hair and smiles at everyone again. "Is everyone here? I would like to go inside already."
"Considering that there are only ten of us here out of twenty-two, we're going to stay here longer," Hilda told Axel.
"Thank you, kindly madam," Axel thanked Hilda.
"So, what's your name?" Fenton asked the girl who is playing with her Game-guy.
"Oh, I'm Elsa," Elsa answered him and continues to focus on her Game-guy. Fenton decides to leave her to her game.
Marty approaches the other dude that has arrived.
"I'm Edgar, now go away," Edgar, the dude wearing all black told Marty.
"Oooooooookay," Marty said a bit uncomfortably as he decides to stand next to Hilda and Axel.
Two more taxis arrive. The first to step out is another male that is eager to be here.
He is Caucasian with short, slightly messy blonde-brown hair, dark blue hair, lightly tanned skin, a cleft chin, and a fit body. He is wearing a navy-blue t-shirt, dark green shorts, and brown sandals.
"Sup everyone is great to meet you all. I'm Caleb." The dark blue eyes dude said as he fist bumps everybody. "Looks to me like a great competition is upon us. I'm looking forward to it." He looks at Hilda and winks at her. "Especially a lady like yourself."
"Oh my, I didn't expect guys to hit on me," Hilda said to herself astonished.
"But none of them have hurt you yet," Sua pointed out, not understanding what the other girl meant. She is still feeling the effects of the zap she got.
The other person to come out of a taxi is a girl that has long, wavy chestnut brown hair that reaches her lower back and is tied up in a high ponytail. She also has dark brown eyes, tan skin, a heart-shaped face, plump lips, a silver nose stud, and almond shape eyes. She has lean muscles and a curvy hourglass figure, full hips, and a rather large chest.
Her outfit consists of a white and red two-piece cheerleading uniform, a leather mini jacket over it, and red converse.
The guys that have arrived check the cheerleader out. She notices this and playfully walks slowly to let everyone admire her beauty.
"Wow, you're hot," Caleb blurted out. He then slaps his forehead, not wanting to say that upfront. "I mean, not as hot as me, but like…"
The cheerleader giggles and she approach Caleb with her luggage. "Don't worry, I admire the honesty of a handsome guy like yourself."
Caleb smiles confidently. Marty turns his camera on and approaches the cheerleader.
"So, what's your name spicy pepper?" Marty flirted. "And can I take a picture?"
"It's Kylie, and sure. You can take a few pics of me," Kylie answered both questions and does cheerleading poses.
Caleb crosses his arms and narrows his eyes at Marty. Axel notices this and remains quiet.
Another two taxis arrive. A male comes out from each taxi.
The first one is struggling to get his luggage out of the taxi. He has short black hair that is styled perfectly, brown eyes, ivory skin, a clean-shaven look. He is tall with a lean psychical body despite not having much muscle to show.
He is wearing a white dress shirt, black dress pants with a brown belt, and black shoes. He also has a silver pocket watch with his last name Peterson engraved on the back.
Fenton comes and helps the dude with his luggage.
"Thanks man," The perfect hair teen said as the two boys take the luggage out of the taxi.
"No worries dude, I love to help," Fenton told him. He offers a handshake. "I'm Fenton, what's your name?"
Gabriel goes for the handshake. "Gabriel, a pleasure to meet you all."
"Wow, there's a lot of people dressed up well," Marty admitted. JJ nods her head in agreement.
The other male has no issue taking out his backpack from the passenger seat. He has short messy black hair that covers his eyes, black eyes under the hair, Caucasian skin, a normal face, and an average build.
His outfit consists of just a white short-sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
"Hey everyone, I'm Garry Stuart," Garry waved to everyone.
Caleb, Boris, Kylie, and Elsa immediately laugh at the name, much to Garry's annoyance. The guy sighs.
"I keep forgetting to stop saying my last name," Garry told himself as he decides to stand next to JJ.
Three more taxis arrive. The first one to get out is a girl that has long brown hair in a ponytail, blue eyes, tan skin, Asian features on her face, and a birthmark under her right eye in the shape of a heart. She is skinny and slightly muscular.
She is wearing yellow sneakers, skinny jeans with the front cut on the kneecaps that exposes a few scars, a San Diego State Hoodie, and a black T-shirt. Lastly, she has a small diamond nose ring and yellow earring on her left ear.
She was about to wave hi to the group of teens until she notices a lot of them have arrived. Her blue eyes shrink and she gets shy. She decides to just stand next to the bush Meredith is still in.
The next one to come out is another girl that has black hair in large pigtails, purple eye contacts, pale skin, heart-shaped face, thick short black eyebrows, dark purple eyeshadow over almond eyes. a small nose, medium-sized lips with the top lip black, and the bottom lip dark purple.
She is petite and wears a dark purple punk dress with belts that crisscross over her chest, black studs covering the skirt, fishnet stockings, and purple calf-length boots. She also has her left eyebrow pierced, a lip piercing, and a purple collar with a skull on it on her neck.
"This show really likes goth girls," Caleb told Axel.
"Surprise they didn't pick a third already until now," Axel told Caleb.
"Hi, everyone, I'm Lilith," Lilith said as she takes out a drum kit from the taxi she was in. "Quick question, if anyone of you were able to murder someone how would you do it?"
This immediately got everyone to look at her weirdly and curiously.
"Um, that's not an appropriate question to ask," Gabriel told Lilith politely.
"Oh, you are so right," Lilith said then giggles. "I should have asked how you would kidnap a person. Maybe by seduction, drugging…"
"And I'm done listening to you," Boris stated.
"Excuse me," Said a six feet guy standing next to Lilith. He has short swept back spiky taper with undercut black hair with a v-trimmed stubble, smoky grey eyes, ivory skin, oval-shaped face with well-defined and slightly chiseled features. He also has straight with curved ends eyebrows, almond-shaped eyes and short, roman-shaped straight nose, average-shaped smooth lips, and shiny white teeth.
Including his tallness of six feet, he has a slim well-built chiseled body, strong, but smooth hands, and chiseled biceps. He is currently wearing an unbuttoned long blue and black sleeve flannel shirt. Underneath the shirt is a short black sleeve t-shirt with the image of a skull with a gas mask on the center. The teen also wears slim urban-styled dark blue ripped jeans with several straps, modern, black-tinted round sunglasses, and a steel crossbar earring on his right ear. Lastly, he wears white and blue basketball sneakers.
"Maybe save those questions for when we enter the carnival," The dude said to Lilith.
"No worries, I got plenty of topics to talk about," Lilith said then giggles again.
"Hope she is not in my team," Marty said to himself.
"Lots of hot guys I'm seeing this season," Kylie said as she approaches the new dude. "What's your name?"
"Maverick, but everyone can call me Mav," Maverick answered happily and confidently.
"Everyone except Chris," The shy girl with the San Diego state hoodie said to herself.
Garry chuckles at the joke she made. "Nice one."
"Oh… um, thanks, I'm Melissa by the way," Melissa spoke quietly.
"Huh? Couldn't hear you," Garry told her.
For the first time in a while, one taxi shows up. A Korean girl steps out with her luggage. She has dyed brown hair that is in a bun but has two bangs on the side of her head going down to her cheeks. She also has brown eyes and pale skin. Her face looks like she has a constant annoyed expression and is mostly boney. She has two moles. One on her right cheek and one under her right eye. She has an average build but being more on the skinny side.
She wears a black jacket with a green shirt underneath, circle shape glasses, a green beret, and a green scarf around her neck. She also has black fashionable pants and green sandals.
The girl puts her luggage down as the taxi flees. She opens a brown bag with its zipper. She takes a bottle of water and drinks a bit to get her throat smooth. She then takes a piece of paper out from inside her green beret.
Everyone waits for her to read the paper.
"Cool carnival carrying fun. Containing cozy cans to consume under sun. Chance for collecting cash could be luck. A poem by me, Lisa Gan," Lisa said proudly.
Everyone claps for Lisa's poem, even Boris.
"That's a nice beret you have on Lisa," Meredith complimented from the bush she is hiding. "A beret has been around for thousands of years. Archaeologists found traces of hats similar to the beret inside Bronze Age tombs in the likes of Denmark and Italy. They have been even depicted in sculptures and paintings across Western Europe."
"Ah the western lifestyle, how I treasure it," Lisa daydreamed until she notices Meredith in the bush. "Why are you in a bush?" She asked.
"I was wondering that too," Gabriel added.
"She's hiding from JJ because she has a fear of clowns," Marty answered.
Lisa notices JJ the clown who is shown putting whip cream on a custard pie. Two more taxis arrive.
First one to step out with their luggage has dyed blonde hair that goes down to her midback. She has baby blue eyes, lightly tanned skin, and a round face with a bit of makeup on. She is five feet and six inches tall and weighs 138 pounds with a skinny look to her.
She is wearing a black trench coat that's unbuttoned, revealing her pink tank top underneath it. She also wears black pants with pink running shoes. An interesting thing to note is that the back of the trench coat has a symbol on it, a half happy half sad face on it. Before anyone can see her full face, she puts on a theater sad face mask on her face, only showing the left side of her face.
"Hey everyone," The girl with odd fashion taste greeted as she carries her luggage.
Everyone gives her suspicious looks.
"Welcome to the show," Gabriel said with a friendly smile. "Need some help?"
"No, I'm fine. Thank you for asking," The girl said bubbly. "I'm Lily, but I prefer to be called Secretary."
As if she was not suspicious enough, the name she likes even raises more concerns. JJ approaches Lily and offers her the pie she made.
"Oh, thank you," Lily thanked, dropping her luggage onto Sua's right foot, who was approaching the secretary to greet. She takes the pie for herself.
Sua jumps up and down as she holds her right foot with both hands in pain.
"She's giving me Knick vibes," Caleb whispered to Axel.
"Yeah, we better keep an eye on her. None of us want to deal with another cockroach," Axel said back.
"Just because she is wearing a trench coat doesn't mean she's like Knick," Kylie pointed out to the two boys.
The next person to get out of the taxi is a guy. He has long black dreadlocks that are tied up in a ponytail at the top of his head. The sides and the back of his head are faded. He has green eye contacts for his eyes, caramel brown skin, and a chinstrap beard. He is the tallest of the group being six feet and three inches and has a bit of muscle to him.
He is wearing a green t-shirt with the number twenty on it in white block numbers with black shorts, white socks, and green sneakers. He also has a black wristband on his right wrist and a purple wristband on his left wrist.
"Looks like contestant number twenty has arrived," Melissa joked, noticing the number twenty on the guy's shirt.
The dude with green eye contact looks at his shirt then at everyone to count if he is actually the twentieth person to arrive. Melissa is right. "Ha, funny, but it's actually not."
Melissa narrows her eyes at him.
"So stranger, what's your name?" Maverick asked the dude. "Everyone is pretty much saying theirs once they arrive."
"Well, my name is Buford, but all of you can call me Bo," Buford said smiling.
"Sure thing Little Bo-Peep," Caleb mocked the nickname, getting a glare from Buford.
"And you are?" Buford asked.
"Me? I'm…" Caleb restrains himself. "Sorry for calling you that."
"You better be," Buford stated as he puts his luggage down on the ground. He decides to change the subject. "Okay, if I'm number twenty, that means two more taxis have to show up."
Behold, the last two taxis show up for the final two contestants. The taxi driver opens his door and then opens the passenger door to reveal a girl happily getting out. The driver even takes out her luggage and puts it on the ground.
"Why couldn't I have had service like that?" Boris complained as he crosses his arms.
The girl has black straight hair that goes down to her upper back, brown eyes, and expresso color skin. She has an almond-shaped head with snake eyes that she keeps half-closed. She is tall at five feet and eight inches with a curvy body, getting looks from some guys, Lilith, and Kylie.
She is wearing gold hoop earrings, a ¾ sleeved cranberry-colored silky blouse with a black belt around her stomach, blue jeans, and black boots with heels.
"Thank you kindly," The teen told the driver and gave him a tip. She looks at everyone and puts her hands on her hips.
"Sup bitches? I'm Tamera, the best and sexiest lady to ever be on this show," Tamera said as she strikes a pose and smirks proudly.
"What are bitches?" Sua wondered.
"Oh my gosh, you are so pure," Hilda said as she hugs Sua tightly. "I'll make sure you keep that innocent mind of yours."
"You're… hurting me," Sua said in pain. Hilda lets her go.
"Bitches mean dogs," Edgar said without stuttering. He just felt like answering Sua's question.
"No one calls me that," Kylie answered Tamera and proceeds to run at the vixen. Buford and Maverick hold Kylie to make sure a fight does not happen.
"Save it for the challenge," Buford told Kylie.
"It's way too soon to start a fight," Maverick told.
Kylie calms herself down.
"That's right, you know better than to hit all of this," Tamera said proudly.
Kylie ignores her so everyone can watch the last contestant come out of the last taxi.
The person that comes out has medium-length blonde hair that is messy and curly. He has stormy grey eyes and well-tanned Caucasian skin. He is built like a swimmer, lean and toned. Six feet tall, weighing around 178-187 pounds.
He is wearing a gray beanie with the tufts of his hair sticking out, a jean jacket over a plain white t-shirt, and ripped Skinny Jeans. He is carrying a gray duffle bag with him in his right hand and a journal under his right armpit.
The taxi driver opens the front window. "Thanks for the tip on some sights around these parks," The taxi driver told the blonde.
"No problem dude," The blonde teen gave a thumbs up.
"By the way, have you seen my wallet?" The driver asked.
"Nah man, I looked all over my seat. You probably dropped it under yours," The blonde answered.
"Alright, see ya," The taxi driver said and leaves the place.
The tall teen with his gray beanie puts his left hand in his left skinny jeans pocket. He takes it out and shows a wallet full of cash and smirks to himself. "Sucker," He said happily. He then notices all the other contestants watching him. "Uh, none of you saw anything."
"Yeah, we saw all of it," Gabriel said as he approaches the dude. "You shouldn't steal from someone, it is wrong."
"Who are you, my mother?" The teen immediately responded. "He's a taxi driver that jacks up the prices on simply driving a few blocks. A couple of bucks gone doesn't hurt him."
"Yeah, but this show provides food, so you don't need to steal money for food," Gabriel pointed out. "Plus, taxi drivers work hard and have to deal with a lot of people during their shifts."
"Look dude, I don't know what game you're going to play in this show, but this is like survival. What I did is none of your business," The last competitor to arrive clearly stated.
"Alright, alright, I'll leave you alone," Gabriel said as he backs off.
"Ugh, everyone else at least has decent clothing, but you have no taste whatsoever," Boris spoke to the blonde.
The dude ignores Boris and Meredith approaches him, feeling safe from JJ as long as she distances herself.
"What is your name?" Meredith asked.
"Its… Jett. That's my name," Jett said a bit slowly.
Once Jett says his name, the doors to the carnival open. Duncan and Noah are shown opening them. Chris shows himself in all of his charming glory.
"Welcome contestants to Chris McLean's carnival!" Chris greeted the twenty-two contestants.
The teens cheer excitedly except for Edgar.
"Love the enthusiasm," Chris admitted with his gorgeous smile. "Alright, before I give all of you the tour, I need two single files. One for boys and one for girls. This carnival is pretty big."
"Reminds me when I would do the same in the school's cafeteria I went to," Caleb said.
"We'll do the lines in order of the alphabet. Boys stand next to my right while girls stand to me left," Chris further explained. "Axel."
"Actually Chris, I believe it would be nice to have the ladies get on the line first," Axel spoke to the host.
"What a gentleman," Chris told the gentleman. "Alight girls first then."
"What? Why should they be first? You planned us guys to get in a line first, stick to that. Do you know who I am?" Boris complained.
"Yes, you're rich but I don't care," Chris answered. "You're in my carnival which means all of you follow my rules. Girls go first courtesy of Axel." He takes a list of white papers to read the names of each girl. "Okay, first is Sua Choi? Or is it Choi Sua? Don't know, you have a C in a name so you're first in line."
Sua happily stands next to the host's left. A bird from the sky poops onto her left shoulder. She still smiles gracefully. "I will clean that up later."
"Elsa, you're next," Chris told the gamer with olive skin. He looks at her still focusing on her game-guy. He gets annoyed since she is not paying attention to him. He walks up to her, swiftly grabs the device, and throws it into a wall, but it does not completely break the console.
"What the heck?" Elsa said bewildered by the host's action.
"No electronics from outside," Chris told her. "Now stand next to Sua." He walks back to his position.
Elsa quickly takes her Game-guy from the ground and puts in her luggage for safekeeping. She then stands next to Sua.
"Does that mean I can't use my camera?" Marty asked Chris, pointing at his camera.
"As long as you take good pictures of me every day you can keep it," Chris told the photographer. "Moving on, Hilda, please stand next to Elsa."
Hilda does as she is told.
"Jasmine Jay… wait, this show already had a Jasmine," Chris remembered. "I don't like giving nicknames, but I'll make an exception. JJ, stand next to Hilda."
JJ the clown does a few flips in the air and somehow takes a water bottle spray out of her wig. She then sprays water onto Sua's left shoulder to get the poop stain out.
"Thank you JJ unnie," Sua expressed gratitude, even though her shirt got wet.
"Kylie, you're next," Chris told the cheerleader.
"Awesome," Kylie exclaimed excitedly and stands next to JJ.
"Lilith, you're next," Chris said to the goth.
"Nice, by the way, Chris, what kind of poison do you prefer?" Lilith asked the host as she stands next to Kylie.
"Wh-what?" Chris asked confused.
"You know poison. Will it be rat poison? From a drink? How about bleach?" Lilith kept asking.
"Please stop talking," Chris said nicely. "Lily, stand next to her."
"Call me Secretary," Lily stated.
"Let me think about that, oh yeah, no," Chris told her. She shrugs and still walks to her spot. "Next up is Lisa."
The poet happily heads to her spot.
"Melissa and Meredith, you two are next in line," Chris spoke.
"This so exciting," Meredith told Melissa as the two go on the line.
"And Tamera," Chris finished counting the girls.
"Saving the best for last. As it should be," Tamera smirked as she stands next to Meredith.
"You were going to be last. Your name starts with a T," Chris told her, already getting annoyed by the vixen. "Anyway, now for the boy line. Axel, you're up first."
Axel happily starts the line.
"Boris, you're next," Chris told the rich kid.
Boris does not move with his arms crossed.
"Dude, what are you doing?" Chris asked Boris.
"Isn't it obvious, I'm waiting for someone to carry my luggage," Boris stated. Several people chuckle at him.
"You cannot be this stupid," Buford told Boris. "But it makes sense since I bet you never watched this show. From what I've seen of you, you're not getting pampered like a baby."
Boris gasps at what Buford told him. "How dare you, I can buy and sell you Bo-peep."
Buford sighs and grabs the rich kid's luggage. "I'm only carrying your luggage so Chris can continue. Now be quiet."
Boris smirks triumphantly. "That's right, you know better."
Chris, smiling from the conflict forming continues with the show. "Good thinking Buford, especially since you will be standing next to Boris."
"Call me Bo," Buford told the host.
"Yeah no, only JJ gets to keep her nickname," Chris told the caramel brown skin dude. "Caleb you're up."
Caleb approaches Buford to talk with him.
"Hey man, don't you think that was kind of rude?" Caleb asked.
"I'm just keeping it real," Buford simply said.
"Edgar, stand next to Caleb," Chris told the teen wearing all black.
Edgar stands at an eight feet distance from the handsome teen.
"Edgar, you need to get closer," The host told him. Edgar moves one step forward. "Closer," Chris said. Edgar moves one step forward again. "Closer."
Edgar for the third moves one step forward. "It's useless to keep doing this," He told the dashing host.
Chris narrows his eyes at him. "Fine, I'll let you have your space this once. Next time Chef will come to take care of the business. Fenton stands next to the sad kid."
Fenton happily stands next to Edgar. Edgar grumbles to himself, being stuck between two guys.
"Gabriel."
Gabriel contently stands next to Fenton.
"Garry," Chris announced. He looks around and does not notice the dude. "Garry? Garry? Did I miscount a contestant?"
"Chris, I'm literally in front of you," Garry told the host.
Chris looks to his front and gets excited. "There you are, Garry. I didn't see you."
Garry is perplexed. "How can you not see me when I'm in front of you?"
"Just stand next to Gabriel, Stuart," Chris mocked.
Garry frowns and stands next to Gabriel.
"Jett, welcome aboard," Chris spoke.
"Wait I thought this was a carnival?" Jett asked confused.
"It is," Chris said, getting perplexed as well.
"Then why you said aboard? This isn't a pirate ship," Jett told.
Chris pinches the bridge of his nose. "This is going to be a fun group. Just stand next to Garry so Marty and Maverick can get on the line as well."
Jett shrugs and does as he is told. Marty then Maverick get on the line.
"Alright, now that we have everyone on the line, follow me," Chris told the twenty-two teens.
The group and the host walk around the carnival and see various carnival booths. The canopies are white with red stripes. There are no tables, chairs, or anything in the booths. They all are empty.
"These booths you all see here will be used for challenges at some point," Chris said.
"This is going to be great. I hang out with my friends at carnivals whenever they are in town. I practically know the ropes to every carnival trick game in the book," Caleb boasted.
"That's awesome dude," Maverick said. "I promote a group that likes to put out some games at those places, so I also have an idea on how these games work."
"Nice," Caleb tilted his head a bit to the promoter and gives him a thumbs up with his right hand.
They arrive at a carnival booth that is by itself but instead of having red stripes it has blue stripes. It has a wooden sign under the ceiling tied in a rope that spells the words Bargaby Bludiddle Hut. Lucy is there sitting in a chair. Behind her is a table with many prizes like stuff animals, soap, costumes, and more.
"This is the Bargaby Bludiddle Hut," Chris said to the teens. "As seen in Back to the Islands, this hut is for taking prizes for fun or you can use them during a challenge to gain advantages."
"How do we get those prizes?" Hilda asked.
"By winning challenges of course," Chris answered her.
Lucy stands up from her seat and hands some yellow pale ticket rolls to the host.
"Teams will get a certain number of tickets whenever they win a challenge. Each contestant will be distributed an equal number of tickets on the said winning team. The more tickets a person has, he or she can give them to Lucy for more expensive prizes. Or if anyone of you is lucky, one can purchase this," Chris exclaimed, showing the contestants a McLean-Brand Chris head. Everyone's eyes are wide up with curiosity. "An invincibility statue. Whoever has it will be the most powerful person in the game."
A lot of the contestants are excited to get that prize. Especially Gabriel, Buford, Jett, Caleb, Tamera, Melissa, and Kyle.
"Now that you all know about the hut, let's keep going forward," Chris said, and everyone follows him once again.
Lucy watches everyone leave then frowns. "How am I supposed to search for Ringleader's lab when I'm stuck here doing trading duty." She crosses her arms. "This role fits Noah better."
Scene changes to Chris and the competitors arriving at an area that has three tents, a photo booth, and a mess hall. The mess hall looks identical to the one from Camp Wawanakwa. The photo booth is blue with big purple, yellow, and brown dots all over it. It also has a door to open and close the booth. The three tents are divided into three colors. First to the left is a tent made out of yellow fabric, the one in the center is of dark green fabric, and to the right is the multi-color brown.
"This will be the area where all of you will be staying," Chris told the cast. "Like last season, Chef will be cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all of you."
"Bleh, I thought you would have hired a better cook at this point," Boris said.
"Can we see inside?" Meredith asked the host.
"Nope, Chef and our interns have been preparing everyone's lunch and they are still not ready," Chris told Meredith. He then looks at the photo booth. "This right here is the photo booth. This will be the new confessional for everyone to use. Don't use it yet until the end of the tour."
"Where are the bathrooms then?" Marty mentioned.
"The outhouse and communal showers are in the dark green tent," Chris answered. "Make sure not to be in the place when the winds are strong. You'll easily get the cameras to see you naked."
"I have to shower with all these dirty individuals?" Boris exclaimed in horror. "No way, I demand an appropriate shower for myself."
"Not how it works here Boris," Chris told him. "Anyway, let's all enter the brown tent."
Everyone does as they are told. Inside the tent has twenty-two sleeping bags at the back and two tables with chairs in the front.
"This is basically a typical camping tent. The majority sleeps here and eat their meals," Chris explained.
"I thought the mess hall will be where we all eat," Melissa confessed.
"The mess hall will be used for the interns. We have a lot of them for this season, so we need extra space," Chris explained. "So, the losers will be dining here. "Now onto the yellow tent."
Arriving inside the yellow tent, it practically looks the same as the brown one, except for it being a bit larger, with three tables, and no sleeping bags inside.
"In here, the winning team will celebrate their victory," Chris said.
"This place is useless," Edgar admitted. "Is the basically the brown tent with minor features."
"Your right dude, it does look the same," Chris agreed. "However, this tent has more luxury to it. The winning team gets not only better-quality food but free massages after a hard day of competition."
Everyone is happy to hear that. Free massages? That is a total win right there.
"Winners will also have to bring their sleeping bags since bunk beds could not be afforded this time. We have one more place to visit so all of you put down your luggage next to a sleeping bag and follow me," Chris told the cast.
Scene changes to them in front of a white marble building with the words Arcade Center on it.
"Is that what I think it is?" Elsa exclaimed happily.
"I doubt it, is not like there is a sign that directly tells you what it is," Lily told the gamer girl snarky.
"That's right Elsa and the rest. Your eyes do not deceive you. This is the arcade center," Chris said happily. "This was here before the producers bought the place. You teens can hang out here in your free time. I saw Duncan playing a few video games, so some of them must be functional."
"I want to go in there so bad," Elsa said as she runs to the front doors to open them. However, it is closed so she smacks her face on the doors. Everyone winces seeing the impact.
"That's got to hurt," Marty admitted.
JJ helps Elsa up to stand.
"Okay everyone, that's it for the tour," Chris told everyone. "There is a directory board up ahead if anyone of you wants to explore more the carnival."
"Wait, you're giving us the full tour?" Kylie asked.
"Nope, for three reasons. One, this is carnival is huge so it will take the whole day to show everything," Chris explained. "Two…"
"If the place is this huge then it should be called an amusement park," Meredith pointed out.
"Well, it's not, and don't interrupt me," Chris told. "Two, it will ruin the surprise for you teens and the audience. Three, there is a challenge today."
This is met with groans and mumbles from the cast.
"Don't worry, we are starting easy with all of you. Let's head inside the mess hall. I have a feeling Chef and the interns are done with the food," Chris informed.
Scene changes to the cast looking amazed at the buffet on a table in front of them. Turkey, pig, chicken, shrimp, crab legs, soup, strawberries, broccoli, donuts, cheesecake, pineapple, apples, lemons, water, lemonade, smoothies, carrots, beets, and more stuff on the table.
"This has to be a dream," Buford said skeptically.
"Nope, this buffet is for you hungry teens. Think of it as a celebration getting a large cast and the twenty-six episodes format back again," Chris said. "Dig in."
Everyone immediately goes for their favorite foods and begins eating like animals except for Boris, Buford, Gabriel, Axel, Hilda, and Tamera.
Confessional – Tamera
The inside of the photo booth is completely green. "Sweet, I'm the first using the new confessional. As it should be." She poses to get a picture taken from the photo booth. "Just want everyone to know that this sexy beauty is totally going to whoop everyone's butt."
Confessional – Boris
"Honestly, this could be worse. Sure, almost everyone here is pigs, and the accommodations are repulsive, but getting a buffet and potentially a free massage on the same day? My parents forced me to compete on this show but it's turning out not that… bad? Though that will change once I'm on a team full of imbeciles."
Confessional – Buford
"I like eating free food as much as the next guy, but I've seen this show before, and there has to be a catch when we are being served this stuff. I'll eat a bit for the sake of energy."
Confessional – Hilda
"My gosh, almost everybody just devoured the foods like vacuum cleaners. I barely was able to get any food from them acting rabid."
Confessional – Gabriel
"Well, that was something," He admitted as he takes some shrimp off his hair. He starts to comb it perfectly. "I was able to grab my favorite foods like tea and seafood, but those guys and girls need to know proper manners. You cannot just dive in to scoop up food."
Confessional – Axel
"Luckily those guys were going after the junk food. I prefer to eat healthy to keep myself in shape."
End Confessionals
Except for the six who did a confessional, the rest of the contestants are shown holding their stomachs from the fullness. They are either sitting or standing. Scarlett and Chef stand next to Chris.
"Looks like all of you enjoyed the buffet. Now, let's start today's challenge," Chris said happily.
"I thought eating the food was today's challenge," Lilith admitted.
"Nope, again, it was just a celebration," Chris reminded. "Everyone, follow Chef and Scarlett to the roller coaster ride."
"Roller coaster ride?" Lily said confused.
The scene changes once again to show the contestants, Chris, Chef, and Scarlett at the roller coaster attraction. Not at the entrance, the place where you can get on the ride.
The vehicle is a dirty green color with a symbol of a dragon breathing fire. It has eight seats available.
"Welcome to the Crowstillo Coaster," Chris told the competitors. "This roller coaster drop is five hundred feet high with loops and turns. It was revamped to include a bit of that Crowstillo flare when riding it. All of you will take the ride. Then I'll decide the teams."
"Um Chris, can we rest a bit on our food before riding?" Maverick asked the host.
"Nope, we don't have much time before ending the episode," Chris told the promoter. "Besides, if anyone of you vomits, that's extra laughs for me."
Gabriel gulps, knowing he has to ride the vehicle.
Confessional – Gabriel
"Okay, I didn't eat much of the buffet, but I have a weak stomach," He admitted. "I'm going to take the ride first just to get it over with."
End Confessional
"Does this violate safety protocols?" Caleb asked Chris.
Chris looks at Scarlett for her to speak.
"The interns and I inspected the ride. Its foundation and main support structure are up to code. The track, tubular rail, stanchion, and box girder track support have been tested as well, functionalizing probably. Breaks are under the vehicle in case of emergency. The vehicle also establishes great hold in the running wheel, wheel bogie, side wheel, upstop wheel, and axle," Scarlett explained.
Sua begins to sob. "I can't understand her, she's saying big words."
Jett has his hands covering his ears. "Yeah, it is giving me a headache. Stop talking will ya?"
Scarlett rolls her eyes. "I was simply answering Caleb's worries."
"Okay, now with that out of the way. Who will be the first eight to board the ride?" Chris asked.
"Me," Gabriel instantly said. Chef opens door to the front of the vehicle so Gabriel can sit in there. Maverick decides to sit next to him. Both fists bump each other.
"There seems to be a small amount for this ride," Lily admitted. "Shouldn't there be twenty-two seats?"
"I repeat, the roller coaster was here when it was purchased, meaning that this is the only vehicle," Chris explained once more.
Sua volunteers to sit behind Gabriel in the second row. Lilith joins her. Jett and Lisa enter the third row. Lily decides to enter the fourth row with Buford following her right after. Chef closes the doors.
"Hold onto the handles if you all want to live," Chef warned the eight teens then chuckles darkly. "Every also has a seatbelt." He then leaves the guys and girls to tighten themselves as he approaches the lever to start the ride.
"I'm surprised you didn't jump in first," Kylie told Tamera.
"And have me vomit all over with embarrassment? No thank you," Tamera answered.
"Alright, our first contestants have accepted their fate," Chris said to them worried. "The rest of you can watch and hear their screams."
Chef pulls down on the lever to get the roller coaster started. The vehicle begins to move slowly as it heads up high on the track.
The eight contestants on the ride reach the peak of the ride and can see how high they are. Seconds past and nothing happens.
"Well, that was lame," Lisa admitted.
All of a sudden, they immediately descend rapidly causing all of them to scream. During the ride, they enter what looks like a replica of the caverns of Crowstillo Island. They see a giant sea serpent made of cardboard pop out, making them scream more. They get out of the tunnel as the ride continues. Gabriel's cheeks bulge, feeling the sensation already. He vomits out his food.
"Gross," Maverick exclaimed.
Since they are moving at one hundred sixty miles per hour, the vomit lands on the face of the person that is behind Gabriel, which is sadly Sua. She screams in agony having vomit on her face.
"그것은 내 얼굴 전체에 있습니다!" Sua exclaimed in horror.
"What did she say?" Lilith wondered.
"She said 그것은 내 얼굴 전체에 있습니다," Lisa told the goth uninterestingly. She notices the frown on Lilith. "Oh, you wanted a translator for what she said. Should have been more specific."
Lilith glares at Lisa for that remark.
Some of the vomit gets onto Jett's clothes. The dude shrugs, feeling fine.
"I've slept in worse," Jett admitted.
"This is awesome!" Lily exclaimed happily.
Buford is shown writing on a piece of paper. "To my family and friends, I wish you all…" The paper flies away and pencil. "Yeah, I should have seen that coming."
Chef pulls up the lever as soon as they arrive at the pickup and drop-off section. Everyone notices the vomit all over Sua, who pushes Lilith out of her way.
"I am hideous!" Sua exclaimed. "Don't look at me!"
JJ rapidly puts on her red flower squirter to spray Sua's face with water. A comically large blast of water hits the idol. The clown then uses a small blanket out of nowhere to clean and dry up Sua's face. She tosses the blanket away, the object laying on the floor next to Meredith and Caleb.
"It's been contaminated," Meredith declared. Whether she said it because JJ touched it or the vomit who knows. She heads to the roller coaster vehicle, pushing Lilith out of the way.
JJ gives a mirror to Sua so she can look at herself.
"Wow, thanks again JJ unnie. You are genuine," Sua complimented the clown.
The boys waiting for their turn minus Edgar look at Gabriel with disgust, who still has vomit around his lips.
"Dude, you look like shit," Caleb honestly said.
"I'm just going to take a rest," Gabriel spoke, then sits on the floor.
"That was amazing!" Maverick cheered happily. Lily is right beside him.
"I know right? I've never been on a roller coaster that crazy before," Lily said. "What did you think Buford?"
Buford just passes out. Maverick can grab him before hitting the floor.
"Woah don't worry bro I got you," Maverick assured.
Jett and Lisa are the last to get out of the ride.
"How did your beret not fall off?" Jett asked the poet.
"The same thing can be said about your beanie," Lisa countered.
"Touche," Jett admitted.
"Alright, we need our next seven," Chris said to continue with the show. "Meredith is already on the ride."
"I'm riding with the hottie," Caleb said eagerly as he sits next to the historian. "Don't worry girl, I'm here to protect you."
Meredith rolls her eyes and gets flustered. "What a prince."
Marty and Kylie sit behind the two.
"This is going to be epic," Kylie told the three.
Marty notices he still has his camera. He looks at Fenton who is about to get on the ride.
"Hey Fenton, hold my camera for me," Marty asked nicely.
"Oh, sure," Fenton said happily and takes the camera. Since he has the camera now, he cannot get on the ride.
Tamera and Garry sit in the front row.
"Ugh, why do I have to sit with you," Tamera wondered. "Your taste in clothing is so boring."
"Because we both want to sit in front?" Garry convincingly failed.
"Don't talk to me," Tamera told him.
Axel and Hilda approach the last two seats available. The gentleman opens the door seat.
"Ladies first," Axel told Hilda.
Hilda giggles sweetly. "I thank you kindly." Both take their seats.
"Remember, seatbelts and handles for safety," Chef told the eight passengers. He pulls the lever down for the ride to start.
The ride went better for these eight since no one vomited. All of them are just having a fun time on the ride. Even with the pop-ups of the serpent and various pirate skeletons, they are still having a blast. Chef stops the ride once they arrive at the pickup. The teens cheer happily.
"Again, again, again!" They repeated.
"All of you out of the ride, now," Chris declared, looking annoyed. "You eight are supposed to scream in fear. Not enjoy it!"
"It's a roller coaster, what did you expect gramps?" Caleb joked.
Chris does not like the joke. "All of you have ten seconds to get out or all of you are on outhouse duty."
Garry, Caleb, Marty, Axel, Hilda, Kylie, Tamera, and Meredith exit the ride quickly as possible. They high-fived each other, glad to piss off the host. Chris looks at JJ, Melissa, Elsa, Fenton, Boris, and Edgar.
"You six are the only ones who haven't gotten on the ride," Chris told them. "Get in so I can announce the teams soon."
"There is no way I'm getting on that," Boris declared. "Those seats must be filthy."
"You are really lucky I can't personally get you eliminated," Chris told Boris.
"I'll clean a seat for him," Fenton offered, raising his hand.
"Good thinking Fenton," Chris thanked the sidekick.
As Fenton cleans a seat for Boris, Edgar and JJ take a seat on the ride.
"Don't sit next to me," Edgar told the clown. JJ takes a seat behind the emo.
Melissa notices Elsa is playing on her game-guy again. She rapidly grabs the device and throws it onto one of the seats of the roller coaster car.
"My baby," Elsa exclaimed in horror as she gets on the ride. Melissa sits next to her so she cannot play.
"Done," Fenton said happily, finishing cleaning a sink. Boris looks at the seat, seeing his reflection.
"Impressive Fenton, you do much better than my butlers at home," Boris complimented. He sits down. Fenton sits next to him.
"The last ride," Chef said then pulls down the lever.
During the ride up to the peak, Melissa notices Elsa is still playing her game.
"Elsa, we are on a roller coaster, you're going to fall if you don't have your hands on the handle," Melissa warned the gamer.
"Just need to pass this boss fight. Been trying at it seventeen times already," Elsa said.
Melissa does not want to see this girl get injured, so she grabs the game-guy and throws it away.
"What did you do!?" Elsa exclaimed with rage. She slaps Melissa continuingly.
"You're going to thank me later," Melissa said with the slaps she is receiving.
Fenton and Boris notice how high up they are and hug each other with fear. Edgar shrugs, not caring what is happening. The group arrives at the peak where the car stops for a few seconds.
JJ shows a sign to the camera with the words uh-oh like in a cartoon when one falls from a high place. The car then rapidly swoops down fast, causing everyone on the ride to scream. Except for JJ and Edgar. The former because she cannot speak but is enjoying the ride and the latter because he does not care. He is not even impressed whatsoever.
Once their ride is over, Chef stops the ride, and the six exit out the vehicle. Fenton and Boris stop hugging each other. Several contestants wince at Melissa's face being slapped so much. Elsa storms off aggressively.
"Do you need some ointment?" Hilda asked the athletic nerd.
"No, it is fine. These will heal in the next episode," Melissa assured. "Thanks for the concern."
"Congratulations on having a fun day folks," Chris said. "But we still have the challenge to do."
"What!?" Everyone exclaimed except for JJ.
"The roller coaster wasn't a challenge?" Kylie wondered.
"Nope, I lied to you all," Chris confessed. "The roller coaster was to select teams of course."
Buford wakes up so Maverick lets him go. "Wait, you don't mean…"
"Yep, those who were with you on the ride are now officially your teammates," Chris announced, much to the shock of everyone. He high-fives Chef who gladly accepts. Scarlett just crosses her arms with a happy smirk. "Gabriel, Buford, Jett, Maverick, Sua, Lilith, Lily, and Lisa. You eight are officially known as the Power Powers!"
A yellow circle symbol appears showing popcorn flying around.
"Tamera, Hilda, Marty, Caleb, Axel, Meredith, and Kylie. You seven are officially the Sleek Slushies," Chris announced.
A pink circle symbol appears showing a cup pouring slushie.
"Um, Chris, I was with them," Garry told the host.
"Huh? Who said that?" Chris wondered.
"Me, Garry. I was with them," Garry repeated.
"Oh, really? Geez, you're hard to see," Chris admitted. "Garry is a Sleek Slushie as well. Which means Boris, Fenton, JJ, Melissa, Elsa, and Edgar are the Fried Freaks."
An orange symbol appears showing a fried chicken wing.
"How dare you? I am no freak and I refuse to be teammates with these freaks as well," Boris spoke truthfully.
Melissa, Elsa, and Edgar glared at him.
"You should have gotten in those dirt seats before then," Chris mocked the rich kid.
Confessional – Melissa – Fried Freaks
"So, my team does not look that great. It doesn't help we are at a numerical disadvantage as well. Boris, Edgar, and Elsa are going to be problematic. Especially if Elsa has more videogame stuff in her luggage. Not to worry, I'll lead my team to victory."
Confessional – Boris – Fried Freaks
"This is preposterous. No way the team I am in will function properly. Why couldn't I have been with the Sleek Slushies? They have Axel and Hilda to take care of my needs."
Confessional – Edgar – Fried Freaks
"My team is useless."
Confessional – Marty – Sleek Slushies
"Awesome, I'm on a team with the top hotties in the game. Guys and chicks alike. This is going to be fun."
Confessional – Meredith – Sleek Slushies
"I am so glad I'm not on a team with that clown. Now I get to focus on the boys." Her eyes widen at what she said. "I mean the game, focusing on the game."
Confessional – Tamera – Sleek Slushies
"Not the best team to cause trouble and mess with. Still, I can work with those losers and cause mayhem." She smirks deviously.
Confessional – Jett – Power Poppers
"Not even five minutes in the team and I already trust no one. They are all going to be scheming their way to the top, but I'll make them stay in the bottom."
Confessional – Maverick – Power Poppers
"This team is awesome. Everyone seems friendly enough to chill and get along with. Can't wait to kick butt with them."
Confessional – Lilith – Power Poppers
"Kind of want to be with the Fried Freaks. They look dysfunctional. Which means more chaos and fun. But my teammates look fun too."
End Confessionals
"Alright, now that teams have been decided, you all have two hours of free time before the real challenge starts," Chris informed the three teams. He then looks at a camera to end the episode. "Which team will win the first challenge? Which one will lose and have to vote off a contestant? Find out next time on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"
Teams
Power Poppers: Gabriel, Buford, Jett, Maverick, Sua, Lisa, Lily, Lilith
Sleek Slushies: Axel, Caleb, Garry, Marty, Kylie, Meredith, Tamera, Hilda
Fried Freaks: Boris, Fenton, Edgar, Melissa, JJ, Elsa

안녕하세요 여러분, 그것은 당신의 우상입니다 – Hello everyone, it's your idol.
그것은 내 얼굴 전체에 있습니다 – It is all over my face.
Author's Note: Enjoyed the ride? There are plenty more to come. Okay, time to discuss some things. One, I am tackling twenty-eight characters, with other additions down the road. Sometimes not everyone is going to get equal time. If you feel like that is happening to your character in two chapters or more, let me know. Two, I originally had planned two teams. However, this cast is stacked, and putting them in three teams feels better, at least for me writing them. Luckily the challenges I made can also be used for three teams. Third, the Fried Freaks only having six contestants is completely intentional. I just think is funny to have a group of six.
That is all the notes. Leave a review or PM me what you think of this chapter.
