Teams
Power Poppers: Gabriel, Buford, Jett, Maverick, Sua, Lisa, Lily, and Lilith
Sleek Slushies: Axel, Caleb, Garry, Marty, Kylie, Meredith, Tamera, and Hilda
Fried Freaks: Boris, Fenton, Edgar, Melissa, JJ, and Elsa
"Last time on Total Drama Carnival Calamity," Chris said narrating the previous episode. "The twenty-two new teens got to meet each other and arrive at the carnival. They had a nice buffet which led to a wild roller coaster ride. Gabriel puked, Sua got hurt, Elsa lost her game-guy. There was also stellar drama forming with Kylie, Tamera, Caleb, Jett, and Boris. In the end, everyone was divided into three teams. The Power Poppers, Sleek Slushies, and Fried Freaks."
Chris is shown with Chef and Scarlett on the roller coaster ride. "What kind of challenge do these teams have to face? Which team will be sending a contestant home? Find out now on Total Drama... Carnival Calamity!"
The episode starts with the Fried Freaks at the arcade center. Their symbol appears on the screen. Elsa is looking inside the arcade to see what kind of games are inside since the place is still closed for the first day. Edgar is keeping his distance from his teammates. Fenton and JJ are playing rock, paper, and scissors. Boris is sitting on a yellow and black stripes beach towel on the ground, courtesy of Melissa letting him borrow it to not dirty his pants. Speaking of Melissa, she is observing her teammates with her arms crossed, having mixed feelings with her team. She claps her hands together to get everyone's attention.
"Okay team, let's make this the best experience for us," Melissa said smiling happily. "I believe it will be best for me to lead the team. How about it?" She offered.
"Don't care," Edgar admitted, not looking at any of his teammates.
"Sounds great to me," Fenton agreed to the idea.
JJ gives a thumbs up to Melissa.
"Please, as if you could lead this team to victory," Boris said rudely. "I would perfectly be the team leader."
"I doubt that," Edgar said dryly.
"Look Boris, we are the weakest team to the eyes of the others," Melissa told the rich kid.
"Is that what they think, or is that what you believe?" Elsa wondered, no longer looking inside the arcade.
Melissa was taken aback by the suspicion. "Okay Elsa, I know you're mad at me and..."
"Actually, I want to apologize. You were looking out for my safety, and I got caught up in my game," Elsa apologized as she sat on the ground, much to Boris's disgust. "I could have paused the game and put it in my chest for safekeeping."
"Oh, thank you Elsa. I don't mind you playing with your video games, but please restrain yourself from doing it when in challenges," Melissa told the gamer.
"I'll... try," Elsa hesitated to say.
"Ugh, this is boring," Boris complained. "Why couldn't Chris give us only an hour? The fact I'm stuck with you nasty buffoons is disgusting. Except for you Fenton, for some reason I like you."
"Thanks," Fenton responded happily.
"Now go get me water," Boris ordered.
JJ happily uses her squirting flower to spray Boris with water. Elsa and Melissa giggle.
"You did ask for water," Melissa reminded the snooty kid, who was about to say something to JJ.
Boris groans lightly. "And also bring me a towel." He told Fenton.
"Sure thing," Fenton said cheerfully and heads to the mess hall to find some water and a towel.
Confessional - Melissa - Fried Freaks
"Okay, I'll admit it. I believe my team is the weakest. Number disadvantage does not bother me since in the high school I go to the sports teams I am on always have some players get injured at the worst moments, but the chemistry in this team is bad. Edgar does not want to talk to anyone, Boris thinks he is better than anyone, Elsa might get distracted again playing her games, and JJ well... she can't speak. It is not bad even if it sounds like that, it would just be harder to get suggestions from her during challenges. I have to pull my A game just like in my track team to make sure we can at least win today's challenge."
Confessional - Elsa - Fried Freaks
"I tend to get invested playing video games, which makes me slightly aggressive and be unaware of my surroundings," She admitted then chuckles embarrassingly. "I actually came here to make real friends since most of them I have are online. Who are far away from where I live. And live in different time zones. And are not always available." She sighs and frowns. "I'm so lonely."
Confessional - Boris - Fried Freaks
"Who does Melissa think she is, leading the team? Pfft, whatever," He said then crosses his arms. "I'll let her be captain, but once she messes up, I'm making sure I take control."
Confessional - Fenton - Fried Freaks
"My teammates are great, I don't see us losing any time soon," Fenton said contently.
End Confessionals
The Sleek Slushies are at the empty booths area, drinking water to hydrate themselves and be ready for the real challenge coming shortly. Everyone on the team is standing beside Axel, who is leaning on one of the booths.
"Since we are now officially teammates, let us get to know each other a bit," Axel suggested.
"Great idea Axel," Hilda complimented. "Will anyone like to start first?"
"Do you even needed to ask?" Tamera retorted then clears her throat. "I like money, fame, modeling, steak, shoes, and acting."
"Wow, you're the whole package," Marty admired.
"Tell me something I don't know," Tamera told him with a smirk.
"My turn," Garry said contently. "I like sports, books..."
"Yeah, that's enough about you," Tamera said as she pushes Garry to the side. "Let's talk more about me."
"Tamera, that was very rude," Hilda scolded the vixen. "You had your turn. Now it's Garry."
"Okay mom, I'll stop," Tamera mocked.
"Thank you," Hilda told her nicely. "Continue Garry."
"I was just going to say girls and that's it," Garry simply said.
"Who doesn't like girls?" Caleb asked rhetorically. "They're hot."
"You are very modest," Kylie giggled.
"Yeah," Meredith agreed.
"Careful Caleb, wood can get hard easily," Marty joked, making Kylie laugh and Meredith flustered. Tamera shrugs off the joke uncaringly.
"Yeah, wood," Caleb said slowly and awkwardly, trying to keep his smile on.
"We don't use language like that here Marty," Hilda scolded the photographer.
"Come on, the show is rated TV fourteen now, I can get away with a few innuendos," Marty said defending himself.
"As long as they are not at me, we're good," Axel told the photographer, finally done leaning against the booth he was on.
"Well everyone, as you all know I'm Meredith," Meredith said happily. "I like to read books and learn a lot about history. For example, the first evidence of tent construction can be dated around forty thousand B.C. These tents were made from Mammoth hides."
"Ugh, history. That's only for school. Don't you have any other worthless hobby that is not lame," Tamera told Meredith who frowns.
"I think enjoying history is wonderful," Kylie told Meredith. She puts her right hand on the historian's shoulder.
"But you're a cheerleader," Caleb told the literal cheerleader.
"What does that supposed to mean?" Kylie told the handsome dude.
"Now you've done it," Axel said smiling.
"I just... um, you know, thought that..." Caleb stuttered trying to defend himself.
"Because I'm a cheerleader it means I'm stupid," Kylie answered for him.
"No way, in fact, I think stupidity looks great on everyone," Caleb completed a sentence.
His teammates look at him bewilder at the answer he gave.
Confessional – Caleb – Sleek Slushies
"Totally a nice save right there," He said, though his face shows his doubts.
Confessional – Kylie – Sleek Slushies
"I'm doing my best to be friendly, but Tamera nor Caleb are making it easy. It's a shame because both of them are hot. Maybe I should try harder."
Confessional – Axel – Sleek Slushies
"Seems there is small tension rising on my team. Going to try later on getting Hilda to help me with it because I am not having my team losing the first challenge."
End Confessionals
The Power Poppers are inside the brown tent, each sitting on a chair next to one of the tables.
Gabriel checks the time on his silver pocket watch. "We have some time to spare. Why don't we all get to know each other a bit more?"
"Yes, yes," Lilith said bubbly. "Questions are awesome. I got plenty of them."
"Here we go," Buford said as he rolls his eyes.
"First question, if any of you die before retirement, where does the money go to?" Lilith asked. "Oh, a better one. What is your favorite cutting tool? People usually go for the chainsaw, but scissors can be surprisingly good."
"Can you ask something not disturbing?" Buford advised Lilith.
"Yes please, it is making me uncomfortable," Sua admitted, rubbing her arms.
"Chainsaws are great. Whenever I'm helping my team promote our haunted house, we tend to for that. However, I think the machete is a much better cutting weapon. A chainsaw creates a sound that leads to people knowing where you are going to attack. A machete is more silent and has more range," Maverick explained his reasoning in cutting tools, ignoring Buford and Sua's request.
"Oh my gosh, you have a haunted house?" Lilith exclaimed happily. "That's so awesome."
"Technically I don't. The group I am in are also the owners," Maverick explained.
"Haunted houses are really good for tourism," Gabriel said happily. "My dad used to have people make one when he was mayor in town to get tourists."
The mention of Gabriel's dad being a mayor gets Buford's curiosity. He remains quiet though.
"Haunted houses are pretty cool," Lily admitted. "As long as they don't have cockroaches in them." She shivers once she finishes her sentence, thinking of those insects.
"I've slept in a few houses like that," Jett spoke. "Of course, none of them were haunted." He notices the strange looks his teammates are giving him. "My family likes to move from town to town. Which is why I've slept in many houses."
"Considering the clothing you wear I doubt your family has money to move from town to town," Lisa stated dryly.
"Maybe he just likes to go casually," Lily theorized.
"Sure, let's go with that," Lisa sarcastically said.
Confessional – Jett – Power Poppers
"I need to be more careful when talking to my teammates. The more info I give the more suspicious they'll get of who I am and my intentions. Luckily, I'm a great liar as proven already. Still, need to choose my words wisely. Especially with Gabriel being the son of a politician. Bet he has been scheming since he got here."
Confessional – Lilith – Power Poppers
"I'm so glad Maverick answered one of my questions. Usually, people look at me weirdly or run away when I tell them. I don't why though, maybe they just have other stuff to do."
Confessional – Buford – Power Poppers
"So, Gabriel is the son of a politician. I believe we can get along just fine."
End Confessionals
Speakers around the carnival turn on. "Attention teams, meet me at the Target Bridge in ten minutes. Use the trajectory boards around the carnival to find the way," Chris said through the speakers.
A new scene comes in with Chris, Chef, and the three teams at the Target Bridge. It is a simple bridge that has been painted like a ring target in white and red that is over a small lake. Upon further ahead where the bridge ends is an area with three dunk tanks.
Each cylinder is three feet wide and five feet tall. The cylinders have water inside with two electric eels swimming in each of them. There is a small bench that is on top of each cylinder. Duncan, Noah, and Scarlett are sitting in a different dunk tank with a gray fence around them for protection that is above the cylinder tube. There is a ladder behind the tanks to climb down from the seat. Lastly, the ring target is attached to each tank.
Chris, Chef, and the teams cross the bridge to arrive at the dunk tanks. The symbols of each team are shown on the screen.
"This is going to be fun," Caleb smirked as he sees the three interns each in a dunk tank.
"Teams, this is part one of today's official challenge," Chris said.
"It better be the official challenge," Boris spoke. "I'm not participating in this if it's not."
"Even if you get the chance to dunk one of the show's previous contestants?" Chris said smugly.
The majority of the contestants smile eagerly.
Boris smirks satisfied. "Now you have my attention."
"Here's how the first part works. Each contestant will throw a tennis ball at the target that corresponds to your team's logo color," Chris instructed. Chef is shown carrying a bucket full of tennis balls.
Duncan's target has the orange logo, Scarlett's is the pink one, and Noah's is the yellow one.
"Each dunk counts as one point, and everyone only has one shot. The team with the highest score that gets an intern into the electric eel infested tank wins an advantage for part two," Chris continued to explain.
"Chris, there are only six of us," Melissa pointed out about her team having an immediate disadvantage. "Perhaps you can give us two more throws, please?"
"Yeah, that's not how it works here Melissa," Chris told her. "Your team will just have to get a perfect score and hope for the best."
"A full six is still more than half," Fenton said positive to Melissa.
"Anway, Fried Freaks will try to dunk Duncan, Sleek Slushies against Scarlett, and Power Poppers against Noah," Chris spoke. "Chef will give each a tennis ball to throw. Remember that all of you have only one shot so make it count. Also, be twenty feet away from the dunk tanks."
Confessional – Caleb – Sleek Slushies
"Now is when I show my teammates my skills. I've been through so many carnivals with my friends and dates that these games are like taking candy from a baby. Too easy and their tears are music to my ears." He chuckles happily.
Confessional – Buford – Power Poppers
"I was expecting the challenge to be more dangerous and not simple. Either Chris is saving that for the second part, or the producers are preventing any life-threatening ones for this season."
Confessional – Melissa – Fried Freaks
"I have an idea on how to get a full score for my team. It's going to be great." She squeals lightly.
End Confessionals
Fenton is up first for the Fried Freaks, Caleb for the Sleek Slushies, and Sua for the Power Poppers.
Duncan looks at Fenton and immediately laughs. "Alright pipsqueak, let's see if your noodle arms can even get the ball to make it to the target." He continues to laugh some more.
"He's not wrong," Fenton said to himself but still finds the courage to do his part for his team. He is about to throw the tennis ball given to him, but Melissa grabs his right arm to prevent it. "Hey thanks, I might have my shoes untied." Fenton checks his shoes as Melissa looks at him confused.
She snaps out it to do what she came for. "Fenton look at me,"
Fenton stops looking at his shoes then looks at the athletic nerd. Melissa lets go of his right arm.
"You are going to launch a four-seam fastball. Listen closely, place your index and middle fingertips directly on the perpendicular seam of the tennis ball. The horseshoe seam needs to face into your ring finger," Melissa instructed as she helps Fenton out.
While she is doing this, Caleb throws his tennis ball at his target and hits a bullseye. This makes Scarlett's seat open under her and sends her into the water tank. She is gets electrocuted by the electric eels and quickly gets back into her seat.
Hilda, Meredith, Kylie, and Marty gasp in horror.
"Awesome," Caleb said satisfied getting a point for his team. He high fives Garry who returns it.
Melissa continues to help Fenton. "Place your thumb beneath the tennis ball, grip the ball now like an egg in your fingertips."
"Ugh, can you just let him throw the ball already," Boris complained. "The Sleek Slushies already have a point."
Melissa nods and gives Fenton a thumbs up, letting him know that everything will turn out great. The small kid braces himself and throws the four-seam fastball, hitting the target and sending Duncan into the tank to get electrocuted.
The Fried Freaks except Melissa are astonished that someone like Fenton would be able to dunk the delinquent.
"Team, ready for our winning condition?" Melissa asked her teammates happily.
Confessional – Melissa – Fried Freaks
"When it comes to sports, I like to use mathematics to help myself out besides track. Like the perpendicular that I mentioned to Fenton. It is quite helpful. I wish the boys in my high school would appreciate the knowledge I like to give."
End Confessional
Sua throws her tennis ball at the target from the dunk tank that has Noah in it. Somehow, the ball ricochets back to her without the seat activating under the bookworm and hits her on her left eye. Her team the Power Poppers wince from the event, even Chris.
"That's got to hurt," The host admitted.
"My face has been blemished," Sua cried out. "Don't look at me, I'm hideous."
"Please, a simple black eye is nothing to cry about," Jett admitted as he walks towards the idol. "Sure, it gets swollen but…"
Sua shows the runaway her black eye and he flinches.
"Okay, that looks hideous," Jett admitted.
"Wait to make her feel better," Lisa told him sarcastically.
Lilith walks up to Sua to cheer her up. "Hey, don't be sad. The black eye looks good on you."
"It does?" Sua wondered.
"It does?" Buford repeated.
"Of course, it makes you look tough and intimidating. Someone not to be messed with," Lilith told the idol. "You get what I'm saying?"
"I think so," Sua answered.
"Even if it makes you look tough, you're still ugly," Chris told Sua. "Chef, give her an eyepatch."
Chef gives a black eyepatch to Sua who gladly puts it on her wounded eye.
"This isn't so bad, this reminds me of time when the group and I had to do dancing in pirate costumes," Sua told cheerfully.
Gabriel is shown throwing a tennis ball at the target and hits it. Noah is sent into the tank and gets electrocuted. He quickly gets back on the bench.
"I did not become an intern for this," Noah stated.
"Me either, this is highly irrational," Scarlett agreed.
"Nah, you and Duncan had it coming," Noah said dryly.
"Excuse me?" Scarlett said looking annoyed. Before she can say anything else, Axel hits the target on her dunk tank, and she falls into the water again.
Noah smiles before he is sent down into his dunk tank as well thanks to Jett.
A montage commences showing each intern being dunked by a different contestant. Edgar, Kylie, and Buford are the first three to be shown throwing a tennis ball. Then JJ, Meredith, and Lily get a point. The last three to be shown being successful in the montage are Elsa, Marty, and Lilith. After it ends, Melissa is shown preparing herself to hit the target.
"Ugh, at least this is better than jail," Duncan told himself as he tries to stay positive after all the dunks he has received. He gets into the tank again once Melissa hits the target. The two eels inside electrocute him.
Hilda, Garry, and Tamera are the only ones who have not gone for the Sleek Slushies.
"I don't know if I can bring myself to do this," Hilda said unsurely. "Even if I am dunking Scarlett is still feels wrong to send her down to those eels again."
"Ugh, what a wimp," Tamera insulted. "You're going after me so don't mess up the advantage we can get." She walks towards the spot to throw the tennis ball she has in her right hand and aims it at the target. While she focuses on that, the Sleek Slushies are still trying to convince Hilda to participate.
"Come on Hilda you gorgeous lady you. We need your point," Caleb told her. "We only have seven members on the team while the Power Poppers have eight. The least we can do is tie with the Power Poppers since Sua missed."
Garry looks at Caleb confused. "What do you mean by seven members?"
"Well let's see, me, Hilda, Tamera, Kylie, Meredith, Caleb, and Axel," Marty said counting with his fingers. "That makes us seven."
"You're forgetting about me," Garry told the photographer.
"Who are you again?" Kylie admitted sheepishly.
"I'm Garry, your teammate," Garry told her with a bit of annoyance.
Lisa from the Power Poppers misses the target and shrugs. "Not like I could have done much in the first place."
"Finally, a moment of rest," Noah said with relief.
"Fried Freaks, the Power Poppers have seven points total. This means there is no way you can win," Chris told the team.
"Knew it, but I'm glad I didn't have to participate just so my skill can be used in vain," Boris said.
"What skill?" Edgar wondered.
"Couldn't you have done the probability way instead of points?" Melissa asked the host.
"Yes, but I didn't feel like it," Chris told her smiling. "Besides, your reaction to losing is awesome."
JJ notices Melissa's annoyed expression and offers the athletic nerd a small pie.
"I'm wondering where you are keeping all your pies," Melissa admitted, no longer feeling angry.
Tamera finishes dunking Scarlett and Garry heads up next. Maverick is the last thrower for the Power Poppers. Garry easily hits the target and by this point, you know Scarlett gets electrocuted again.
Maverick throws his tennis ball with a lot of force, not focusing on the target. The tennis ball instead hits the dunk tank, breaking the glass and having water come out.
"Nice shot," Noah retorted to the promoter.
Thanks to the broken tank, the two eels from that one slither their way to Maverick and electrocute him. Most likely thinking he was trying to hurt them.
"Ah stop, no please I'm sorry," Maverick begged off-screen.
The eels then electrocute Sua for no apparent reason.
"Do me, do me," Lilith said to eels, wanting to feel some shocks.
Confessional – Buford – Power Poppers
"That girl is the definition of weird."
Confessional – Lilith – Power Poppers
She is holding the two eels with both her arms. "I'm not letting either of you go until I get electricity flowing through me."
End Confessionals
"Despite Maverick not making the shot, I'm giving the Power Poppers a point for the pure entertainment value," Chris said then chuckles. "Which puts them at seven." He looks at the Sleek Slushies. "Sleek Slushies, all need is Hilda to hit the target and the team gets an advantage for the second part of today's challenge."
"Come on Hilda, we need this point," Kylie insisted.
Axel gets up close to Hilda to talk with her. "Hey, if you don't want to do this is fine. You're the type of person that does not want to hurt others it seems like. I respect your decision."
"You do? Thanks Axel," Hilda said, glad someone understands her reasoning.
"Of course, is not like Scarlett tried to murder a bunch of teens before. Or the fact our team will blame you for not getting an advantage. But still, I respect your decision," Axel charismatically said.
Hilda grips the tennis ball in her left hand tightly. What Axel told her is true. Nothing wrong with Scarlett getting karma, right? She throws her tennis ball at the target and hits it.
"Of course," Scarlett muttered before she falls into the water.
The Sleek Slushies cheer for Hilda.
"And with that, the Sleek Slushies win the advantage for part two," Chris exclaimed.
After done cheering, Tamera walks up to Axel.
"Smart way convincing her to do it," Tamera told the gentleman.
"You just have to use the right words," Axel told smiling.
A new scene commences with the three teams, Chris, Chef, and the three soaked interns at the bridge. Each team symbol appears on the screen.
"Sleek Slushies, congrats on getting an advantage for the second part of today's challenge," Chris congratulated.
Chef is putting tapes that look like ring target stickers on each Fried Freak's shoulders, back, and stomach.
"Hey Chris, what's with these targets sticking to us?" Fenton wondered.
"Glad you asked Fenton. these target stickers Chef is putting on everyone is part two of today's challenge call Target Practice," Chris said and continues to explain as Chef puts the target stickers on the Power Poppers. "Each team will go around a certain part of the carnival to throw red rubber balls at each other. If a ball hits one of the targets on your back, stomach, or either shoulders, that target will light up and flash continuously. Meaning, you're out of the challenge."
Chris throws a rubber ball at Maverick's left shoulder.
"Ow," Maverick said, rubbing his left shoulder. The target sticker starts flashing lights. Chef removes the sticker and puts a new one.
"The Sleek Slushies will only have target circles on their shoulders since they won the first part. Challenge ends when only one person or team remains," Chris finished explaining. "Each team has ten minutes to decide where they want to be and if they want to split up into groups. You'll figure out when the challenge starts again once I announce it through the speakers."
Confessional – Axel – Sleek Slushies
"This feels like dodgeball but with more open space. Wonder who's going to take charge on my team for this challenge."
End Confessional
The Power Poppers are shown in front of the dirtbag tent. Their symbol appears on the screen.
"Okay everyone, I think is best if we split up into groups to cover more ground," Gabriel said to his teammates.
"That is the most obvious advice," Lisa admitted.
"Is still good advice," Maverick told the poet. "Who you think we should partner up with Gabriel."
Gabriel ponders a moment to think.
"We don't have all day," Jett said immediately after five seconds.
"Okay, you can go with Lisa and Sua," Gabriel told Jett rapidly.
"Yeah, bonding time," Sua said excitedly as she hugs Jett and Lisa.
"You're in charge of her not getting hurt," Gabriel whispered to Jett who rolls his eyes. He then looks at the rest of his teammates. "Lilith and Buford, you two will go together."
"That's a bad call right there and I know when there is a bad call," Buford expressed honestly.
"Relax Bo, we're just going to take down the other teams while talking about our favorite arachnid species," Lilith told the dude.
"You are so dang lucky I'm not afraid of spiders," Buford said to the goth.
"Maverick and Lily will be coming with me," Gabriel continued.
"Secretary if you please," Lily told the politician, getting confused looks from her teammates.
"Okay, Secretary it is then," Gabriel said. "Now that is settle, everyone split up."
Confessional – Gabriel – Power Poppers
"I was expecting someone else to try to take leadership. I would have given them the chance, but I guess my teammates see me as the natural responder. Hopefully, my plan works. Would be really bad if we lose and I get blamed for the loss."
Confessional – Lily – Power Poppers
"That was nice of Gabriel to call me Secretary. Not many people do that except for my group of friends."
Confessional – Jett – Power Poppers
"Ugh, I have to be a babysitter for Sua, this sucks."
End Confessionals
The Fried Freaks are shown at the entrance to the Crowstillo Ride Roller Coaster. Their symbol appears on the screen.
"Okay team, time to see who goes with who," Melissa told her teammates smiling.
"I'm taking Fenton," Boris immediately said. "You cannot change my mind."
"I'm okay going with him," Fenton agreed with the idea.
"Alright," Melissa said, fine with the team-up. "You two take Edgar."
"Nope, I'm going alone," Edgar spoke and walks away from his team. "See you all."
"If you two find him please stick with him," Melissa told the two boys.
"As if I would look for a kid that looks like that," Boris scoffed. "Besides, he's better off without us."
"I have to agree with Boris. Edgar does not look like the type to be close to people," Fenton agreed with the rick kid.
Melissa is disappointed but continues forth. "Okay, don't search for Edgar. You two just take down as many opponents as possible. The ladies," Melissa shows herself, Elsa, and JJ. "Will take the opposite side you boys will be going."
"Fine by me, I rather not be five feet next to you," Boris said insultingly. "Let's go, Fenton."
Fenton follows Boris while Melissa crosses her arms.
"This guy is pissing me off," Melisssa stated.
"Don't think about him. Just focus on the challenge," Elsa encouraged Melissa.
JJ agrees by honking her clown horn.
"You're right you two. It's a girl's day, and we are going to kick butt," Melissa spoke confidently.
The Sleek Slushies are at the empty booths area, ready to discuss how they would split up. Their symbol appears on the screen.
"This place has the best hiding spots to gang up on the other teams," Axel told his teammates. "We can just get in the booths and strike anyone that comes through."
"Great plan Axel," Caleb complimented the gentleman.
"But is not thinking long game. If we all stay here the eliminated opponents can tell their teammates, what are we doing and get us by surprise," Meredith countered.
"Which is why some of us should split up into a different area," Tamera spoke. "I know, I'm a genius. No need to give me an applause."
Hilda and Caleb applaud Tamera anyway. She was expecting that as well.
"Okay, so how about this," Marty said, getting into the conversation. "I will take Kylie and Meredith…"
"Whoa man, don't hog all the chicks to yourself," Caleb told the photographer.
Kylie and Meredith smile.
Confessional – Kylie – Sleek Slushies
"Despite what Caleb said earlier, I find it charming how he and Marty want to get with me. It's honestly cute."
Confessional – Meredith – Sleek Slushies
"Marty and Caleb enjoy complimenting us girls. I would like to spend time alone at least with one for them to get to know each other better."
End Confessionals
"Look, since you two cannot handle these madams then I suggest you both stick together," Axel said without raising his voice. "With Hilda and I here at the booths. Tamera and Kylie will take a different route as well as Garry and Meredith."
"You really think it's a good idea to have me with her," Kylie questions Axel's decision-making as she jerks a thumb to the vixen.
"Is not like I want to be with you," Tamera retorted.
"We can switch. I can take you," Garry offered the idea to Tamera.
"And who are you exactly?" Tamera wondered.
"I am freaking Garry," Garry exclaimed with annoyance. "The dude that went after you in the dunk tank."
"Ugh, I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half-foot pole," Tamera insulted Garry.
"Okay is settle, I will take Garry with me," Meredith said, trying to prevent an argument.
"Besides, you two need to connect so this team can prosper," Hilda told Tamera and Kylie.
Just then, the speakers throughout the carnival turn on. "Attention teams, your ten minutes are up. Get ready to target down!" Chris exclaimed, starting the challenge.
"Good luck you four," Caleb told Meredith, Garry, Tamera, and Kylie. Axel, Hilda, Marty, and he quickly enter one of the empty booths and hide.
Confessional – Marty – Sleek Slushies
"I don't mind there being a competition of getting one of the ladies, but Caleb seems serious about it. I should probably talk to him at some point."
Confessional – Caleb – Sleek Slushies
"I came here to win but I also came here to score some babes. Marty is totally cramping the Caleb style. I need to talk to him at some point."
End Confessionals
Sua, Jett, and Lisa are walking through the empty booths area. Jett is in front with Sua on his right and Lisa on his left. The symbol of the Power Poppers appears on the screen.
"와우, 그 시는 숨이 막힐," Sua told Lisa, speaking in Korean.
"음, 감사합니다, 당신이 그것을 즐겼다 기뻐요," Lisa thanked with surprise in her voice.
"Can you two stop talking in whatever language I cannot understand for five minutes?" Jett told the two girls. "We need to focus on the challenge."
"We are focusing. Just on something better," Lisa told Jett dryly.
Jett mumbles some words to himself and begins taking off his target stickers. He only leaves one on his left shoulder.
"What are doing Jett?" Sua asked the runaway.
"What does it look like? I'm taking off these stickers and leaving only one on me," Jett answered in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Isn't that against the challenge rules?" Lisa asked the messy blonde hair dude.
"Chris never said we cannot take off the stickers," Jett reminded, finding a loophole. "I'm just keeping one on to make sure I don't get penalize."
"That will give us a nice advantage," Lisa said, agreeing with Jett's idea. She takes off the stickers on her but leaves one on her left shoulder.
Before Sua can take her stickers off, she is bombarded by four rubber balls. One that hits her right shoulder, lighting up a target sticker, and the other three hits her head.
"These balls are harder than what they appear to be," Sua admitted before passing out onto the ground.
"I think we shouldn't have thrown all our rubber balls at her," Hilda said to her teammates as she, Caleb, Marty, and Axel stand up from the booth they were hiding in.
"Who cares, we got her," Caleb told her.
Jett and Lisa see the four Sleek Slushies.
"Crap, it's the cops," Jett said nervously. "Let's get out of here."
Before Jett can away, Lisa grabs his right arm. "Hold it crossing road chicken, Chris only gave each of us a rubber ball. We can take at least two out."
Lisa lets go of the runaway's right arm. Jett smiles at her then at the four Sleek Slushies.
"Oh yeah, you're right," Jett said mischievously. The two Power Poppers hold up their rubber balls to throw.
"Run!" Axel warned his teammates.
The four Slushies get out of their hiding spot, but Hilda and Axel get hit by a rubber ball. They are now eliminated from the challenge.
"Leave us," Axel told Marty and Caleb.
Caleb nods then looks at the photographer. "Let's go, dude," He said to Marty and the two boys flee.
Lisa and Jett take back their rubber balls. They turn around to see the four rubber balls thrown by the Sleek Slushies near Sua, who is sleeping on the ground. Jett takes two balls and puts each one in his jean pockets.
"What a nice gift those Slushies left us," Jett said.
Lisa puts the extra two balls in her green scarf. "As they say, another man's trash is another woman's pleasure."
"That's not how the phrase works," Jett told her.
"I know what I said," Lisa commented, much to the runaway's confusion.
Axel and Hilda are shown sitting on the ground, resting their backs on the hiding place they were in.
"Well, Meredith had a point. This plan wasn't going to last," Axel realized.
"Look on the bright side. We got one Power Popper out of the challenge," Hilda told the gentleman, looking in a positive light.
Confessional – Axel – Sleek Slushies
"Yeah, and they got two for one. That is a horrible trade." He crosses his arms, looking a bit frustrated. "If my team loses first, you know who they are blaming? That's right, this guy, the one who suggested to hide in a booth in the first place. I can only hope my teammates can do a better job than me now."
Confessional – Hilda – Sleek Slushies
"Is not easy taking the leadership role. I thought Axel's plan was great. The thought of having to vote him out or anyone else on the team so early frightens me."

Garry and Meredith are running through the carnival. Their team's symbol the Sleek Slushies appears on the screen. They stop at the Bargaby Bludiddle Hut to take a breather.
"No sign of anyone," Garry told Meredith. "Either they are really good at hiding or we have poor eyesight."
"I'm going with the former," Meredith told him.
Garry looks around to see if anyone might be approaching the two. As he does this, he does not see Meredith getting dragged into the Bargaby Bludiddle hut. When he turns around, the historian is not there.
"This happens a lot whenever I talk with girls," Garry confessed.
Meredith is shown under the table of the hut with Lucy having her right hand on the historian's mouth, also under the table.
"Shh, talk low so no one can hear us," Lucy told Meredith. The historian nods so Lucy can let her right hand go.
"Why did you drag me here?" Meredith immediately asked the DIT.
"How much do you know about this carnival?" Lucy answered with a question.
Meredith gets all cheery, ready to talk about history. "Do I know about carnivals? Well, the first carnival made in Canada was in nineteen fifty-four by a group in…"
"That's fascinating but I'm talking about this particular carnival," Lucy interrupted, trying to be gentle.
"Oh, the one we are in," Meredith said to be sure.
"Yes, this one," Lucy nodded. "How much do you know?"
"Well, this carnival was a lot smaller than right now. It was called the Carn of Wonders back when it first appeared in nineteen ninety-four. Name after the owner Carner Bleak," Meredith said, happy to explain.
Lucy grabs a notebook and pencil from the prize section to take notes.
"Carner's carnival was praised for the attractions it had. Besides the classic carnival games, his workers would put on a show once a week. Unlike anything else because of his friend, who was the ringleader of the show," Meredith explained further.
The mention of the ringleader makes Lucy even more curious.
"Keeping telling," Lucy insisted.
"One day, Carner decided to close down the carnival. There were complaints about his friend's actions when it came to kids and teens after the show. There was no proof however of his friend's actions, but he didn't want to risk lawsuits and lose all the money he got from the place. His carnival was closed on September tenth, nineteen ninety-seven," Meredith spoke. "Do you have any water?"
Lucy grabs a water bottle from the table to give it to the historian. Meredith drinks some water.
"You have not mention Carner's friend's name," Lucy pointed out.
"That's because his friend will change identities throughout the rest of the history," Meredith said, as unsettling music starts to form in the background. "Two years later, a man name Vim Scale bought the carnival and expanded it into an amusement park. His biggest mistake was hiring Carner's friend to save money."
"From the intel I have, they just call this friend the Ringleader," Lucy spoke.
"He was known for that. That was what he did. Start the show. According to some research I found, whenever he was not on stage, he would drag children and teens to some part of the carnival, never to be seen again," Meredith added. "When the Ringleader was arrested, they found where he was hiding the kids. Most of them were experimented on with scary results."
The historian remembers that she is in a challenge. "I should go now, don't want to make Garry think I ditched him."
"Let's talk more tonight shall we," Lucy said, still wanting more information.
"I don't know, would like to have some extra rest," Meredith admitted. "Plus, talking about this place's history is making me feel uncomfortable when I first discovered all of it."
"I'll give you some privileges that the contestants can't have," Lucy offered.
"Um… okay, that's a deal," Meredith said, still unsure but decides to agree anyway.
"Thanks, good luck with the challenge," Lucy told her.
Meredith gets out of the hut and sees Garry having one of his targets flashing lights constantly.
"What happened to you?" Meredith asked.
"Boris and Fenton got me. So, you are on your own," Garry answered.
Confessional – Meredith – Sleek Slushies
"I'm happy with telling Lucy what I know of this place, but I'm hoping this doesn't affect how I play in the long run. I let Garry get hit which is a shame. I also don't know why she wants to know about the Ringleader. I had to do a lot of research just to know the things he did, and never once I got an official name."

Edgar is shown passing a bumper car ride by himself as the symbol of Fried Freaks appears on the screen. He notices five cars on one side and another alone on the other side. He sighs.
"Maybe it was a bad idea to take this challenge on by myself," Edgar said to himself. "I have a high chance of being ambushed like this."
Gabriel, Maverick, and Lily appear on screen, ready to throw.
"Of course, how convenient," Edgar said. He knew he was not going to be able to escape the three Power Poppers, especially Maverick. However, he just needs to make at least one of them get out of the challenge.
Gabriel and Lily throw their rubber ball at Edgar, who dodges them. The emo notices Maverick is preparing himself to launch his, so he throws his rubber ball at the promoter, getting a direct hit on the target sticker on Maverick's chiseled stomach.
"Gah, I've been hit!" Maverick exclaimed in horror. "I see the light, go on without me." He dramatically falls to the ground.
Edgar decides to make a run for it, but Lily launches the ball he threw at him, touching the target sticker on his back.
"Ugh, great," Edgar said, now out of the challenge.
"Great job back there," Lilith told the emo as she walks up to him with Buford. "Going one against three is dangerous but awesome at the same time."
"Oh, thanks," Edgar said. He wants to say something to Lilith but decides not to and leaves the scene.
Lilith and Buford unite with Gabriel and Lily.
"We saw Sua on the ground a while ago which means she is out," Buford told Gabriel and Lily.
"Edgar was able to take out Maverick," Gabriel pointed at the promoter.
"Just put me out of my misery, argh," Maverick exclaimed.
Lilith and Lily giggle at the dude's dramatics.
"Lilith and I covered the west," Buford told Gabriel. "Let's go the opposite direction. We go east and you two go west."
"Sounds great," Gabriel agreed with a smile. "Let's go Secretary," He told Lily.
Near the roller coaster entrance, Kylie and Tamera notice the Fried Freaks girls inside.
"Alright, let's get them," Kylie said excitedly, ready to knock some girls out.
"Whoa there, don't be a cheerleader," Tamera told the chestnut brown hair girl.
"Excuse me?" Kylie said baffled.
"What I mean is that we can't just go in all willingly. It's obvious they want us to come to them," Tamera explained.
"That's what makes it exciting," Kylie told the vixen with a goofy grin and rushes into the roller coaster attraction.
"Ugh, and people call me a bitch," Tamera said as she follows her teammate.
Once the two enter the place, they are met with water on the floor. This causes them to slide through the water and end up in a small bouncy house made of balloons. They bounce continuously on it until Elsa pops the balloons with a needle.
"Well, I'm sure someone enjoyed watching us bounce," Kylie joked to her teammate.
"Clearly they would be looking at me more than you," Tamera added rudely. She gets hit by a rubber ball on her left shoulder by Melissa.
"Nice job on the balloon bouncy house JJ," Melissa thanked her teammate. JJ uses her clown horn to show appreciation.
"No fair, I wanted to be the last member of my team target out to have more screen time," Tamera complained.
Kylie grabs the ball Melissa threw and does a few backflips to get farther away from the Fried Freak girls. Then she tosses the rubber ball and her own at Melissa's and Elsa's stomachs, hitting each sticker target.
"That's how you do it," Kylie said with a smirk.
JJ grabs Elsa's rubber ball and jumps into the eight-seat roller coaster car to hide. Kylie grabs the two rubber balls she threw plus the one Tamera had on her and enters the car. Tamera gets an idea, smirking happily. She gets up from the floor and pulls on the lever to start the roller coaster ride.
"Let's create some fun," Tamera grinned.
Kylie and JJ can feel the ride moving. The cheerleader glares at Tamera, seeing the vixen wave goodbye to her.
Confessional – Kylie – Sleek Slushies
"Why would she even do that in the first place?" She said referring to Tamera. "We're on the same team."

Buford and Lilith are shown walking around the carnival as the symbol of the Power Poppers appears on the screen.
"Do you ever wonder if human blood tastes good?" Lilith asked the tall dude.
Buford's cheeks immediately bulge but holds in his vomit. "Lilith, stop talking and focus on the challenge."
"It doesn't have to be human blood, it could be blood from different animals if you want to talk about that," Lilith added.
"I don't want to talk about anything that comes from your mouth," Buford told the goth harshly.
"Oh, I understand," Lilith said with a frown.
Buford notices her sad expression, but he is not in the mood for apologizing.
Caleb and Marty are shown hiding in a bush, watching the two Power Poppers.
"How are we going to get them without our balls?" Marty asked the handsome genius.
Caleb ponders for a moment to think of a strategy. He looks at Marty's camera and gets an idea. "Okay, I got it. First things first, turn on your camera and put it on flash."
Buford and Lilith continue to walk silently.
"Hey," Marty shouted behind them to get their attention.
Lilith and Buford ready their rubber ball at the photographer. Marty uses the flash from his camera to blind the two Power Poppers momentarily. Caleb takes this opportunity to grab both rubber balls and poke all the target stickers. He just needed one on each person, but he wanted to have fun.
"Sweet, one of my best plans ever. We took down two Poppers and got our balls back," Caleb said happily.
"You got your balls back. I always had mine," Marty joked then laughed.
Caleb narrows his eyes at his teammate.
"Too much?" Marty wondered.
A new scene commences with Meredith slowly walking her way towards Lisa and Jett, both taking a rest at a popcorn-making machine. The symbol of the Sleek Slushies appears on the screen.
"Tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe," Meredith repeated quietly. She notices that neither Power Popper has a target sticker on its back. Only one sticker on each left shoulder. "Hey, that's cheating," The historian spoke out loud. She then realizes she gave away her location.
Lisa and Jett turn around and grin, ready to pelter Meredith with rubber balls. The historian screams and runs away. Jett can take her out by throwing a rubber ball at the target sticker on her back.
"You two are going against the rules," Meredith told the two as she stops running.
"No rules saying we can't take off most of them," Jett told her then chuckles.
Lisa grabs Meredith's rubber ball from the blonde's blue skinny jeans right pocket.
"Thanks for the assistance," Lisa told Meredith and the two leave to find more enemies.
Back at the roller coaster attraction, Kylie and JJ are on the ride, looking at each other as they go through the loops of the ride. Once they reach the pickup section, Tamera stops the ride.
Both get out from the coaster to hit each other with rubber balls. Both touch their bodies to feel any rubber balls on them but nothing.
"Oh my gosh, those loops must have cause us to drop the balls," Kylie exclaimed.
JJ continues to smile, taking two rubber balls out of her wig.
"What a clever girl," Kylie smirked. She is then hit on her stomach and the target sticker flashes.
Melissa and Elsa cheer for JJ while Kylie glares at Tamera.
"Did you have fun?" Tamera asked Kylie then snickers.
"No, thanks to your stunt. It cost me to get out JJ. If we lose today's challenge, I'm making sure I tell everyone what you did," Kylie told the vixen and leaves.
Melissa, Elsa, and JJ watch the event unfold. The gamer girl then looks at the silent clown.
"JJ, you're on your own. You can do this," Elsa encouraged.
"Yeah, make the Fried Freaks proud," Melissa added.
JJ gives a thumbs up.
Confessional – Tamera – Sleek Slushies
"I'm definitely hoping my team does not lose today. I need to have more screen time, but I also have to make sure the plays I make don't cost me to get eliminated so quickly."
End Confessional
Fenton and Boris are at a cotton candy stand. The symbol of Fried Freaks appears on the screen.
"Get this machine working so I can have some candy," Boris ordered Fenton.
"Sure thing," Fenton said. He looks at the cotton candy stand then back at his teammate. "I don't know how to fix this."
"Then figured it out. We have plenty of time," Boris spoke.
"Do we though?" Fenton wondered.
"Of course we do. As if any of those morons would come to a cotton candy stand," Boris told the competent sidekick.
"Morons huh?" Lily scoffed. The two Fried Freaks notice Gabriel and her standing near them.
"Oh no, this is bad," Fenton exclaimed, getting anxious. "Do we run away? Surrender to the other team? Fight till our deaths?"
"Chill you shaking maraca," Boris told Fenton.
Fenton gets into a fetal position on the ground.
"Um… is he okay?" Gabriel asked Boris, worried for the short kid.
"He's just going through some things," Boris replied. "Anyway, would you two care for some cotton candy?"
"Would I!" Lily exclaimed bubbly and heads to the machine.
"Secretary no, it's a trap!" Gabriel warned his teammate.
As soon as Lily makes it to the stand Boris uses his rubber ball to touch the secretary's left shoulder, where a ring target sticker is at. The target lights up.
"Hey, there's no cotton candy here," Lily sadly said.
"I tricked you Knick lover," Boris insulted as he throws his rubber ball at Gabriel who dodges it.
Confessional – Lily – Power Poppers
"Seriously, just because I like wearing a trench coat does not mean I am a fan of Knick," She said showing her black trench coat. "I just like wearing them, that's all."

Boris lifts Fenton with both his hands and arms. "Wow, you are much lighter than I expected," the rich kid admitted as he takes his teammate to a nearby bush to hide.
Gabriel follows them, now holding onto three rubber balls. "I know you two are in there," the politician exclaimed.
"Why are you talking to a bush for?" Jett wondered as he and Lisa approach their teammate.
"Why can't he talk to a bush?" Lisa asked Jett.
"Fenton and Boris are in there," Gabriel replied to Jett's question. He notices his teammates only have one target sticker on their left shoulder. "Hey, aren't you…
"Yes, we should but we mostly got rid of them so our opponents can have a harder time taking us down," Lisa stated.
"And no, it is not against the rules," Jett added. "Mr., I need to follow everything."
"The name-calling was unnecessary but good job on finding a loophole," Gabriel complimented the two.
With the three distracted, Boris grabs Fenton's rubber ball and hits the target sticker on Gabriel's left shoulder.
"I've been hit," Gabriel told his teammates.
Inside the bush where Boris and Fenton are hiding, they have panic looks on their faces.
"What do we do now?" Fenton asked.
"We need to get those rubber balls back. We're sitting ducks here unless we have ammo," Boris told him. "You go and distract them while I get some."
"Got it," Fenton said, not hesitating to answer for a second. He gets out of the bush and immediately gets hit by two rubber balls.
Boris runs away, only for Marty to camera flash him.
"What did I tell you about taking photos of me without my permission," Boris reminded, trying to see.
"Sorry, but it's for the challenge," Marty apologized and explained.
Caleb has a rubber ball in his right hand and touches the target sticker on Boris's stomach.
"You are out dude," Caleb told Boris.
"Finally, now I can take a shower after all this sweat on me," Boris said happily as he leaves the scene.
Caleb and Marty notice Jett and Lisa approaching them.
"Looks like we are the only ones left," Jett told the two Sleek Slushies.
"Seems like it," Marty agreed, looking around just in case someone pops up.
"Ugh, there's something in my beret that is annoying me," Lisa said as she scratches her hat.
She takes it off and somehow JJ gets out of the hat. She waves sheepishly at everyone.
"How did she fit into that?" Marty wondered.
"No time just hit her," Caleb exclaimed.
The four teens hit JJ with rubber balls, hitting all her target stickers. The speakers throughout the carnival turn on.
"Attention everyone, the Fried Freaks lost all their members," Chris announced.
Confessional – JJ – Fried Freaks
JJ uses sign language to communicate to the audience. There are subtitles around her knees to let everyone know what she is saying.
'I was hiding to take down the last person remaining, but I got too excited, oops,' JJ spoke through sign language.
End Confessional
Marty quickly flashes his camera at the two Power Poppers to blind them, however, Jett and Lisa figure out his approach.
Jett pulls down his beanie while Lisa raises her scarf to her eyes. This technique however causes the rubber balls in her scarf to fall to the ground. Caleb takes advantage and scoops up some rubber balls. He then throws one at Lisa's left shoulder where her only target sticker is. This gets the poet eliminated from the challenge.
Jett quickly charge tackles Marty who falls to the ground.
"Ouch," Marty exclaimed, feeling a bit of pain.
Jett takes his camera so he can blind the photographer and Caleb. He is successful and then takes them out of the challenge.
Once again, Chris speaks through the speakers. "This just in, Jett wins it for the Power Poppers!"
Jett and Lisa cheer.
"Sleek Slushies take second while the Fried Freaks will send someone home tonight," Chris further said.
"Wow, that was… awesome," Lisa told Jett, staring deeply into his stormy grey eyes.
"Eh, it's one of my many escape routines," Jett shrugged.
Confessional – Caleb – Sleek Slushies
"Okay, I could not win it for my team, but I was one of the last two remaining for the challenge, which totally scores me keeping points."
Confessional – Marty – Sleek Slushies
"Caleb is smart. I was for sure he and I would be getting out of the challenge quickly, but nope. He pulled through. Smart and hot, what a crazy dude."
Confessional – Jett – Power Poppers
"Yeah, I saved the butts of my team. Don't know whether that is good or bad, but we'll see," He said smiling proudly.
End Confessionals
The Power Poppers and Noah enter the gold tent. Maverick, Lilith, and Lily quickly grab some snacks from the table in the middle since there are three tables. Gabriel, Buford, and Lisa sit down at the first table, happy to win the first challenge of the season.
"Today was a success," Gabriel told the two sitting next to him.
"We almost lost but yeah, it was a success," Buford agreed.
"Thanks to Jett's smarts of course," Lisa complimented the runaway.
Jett chuckles. "Well, if we want to continue to win then all of us need to put our brains into action."
"Alright Power Poppers, who will be getting a massage first?" Noah asked the team.
"Wait, you're the one who will be giving us massages?" Sua asked the bookworm.
"Thankfully no," Noah told the idol. "It will just be an unnamed intern. She is supposed to come in a few minutes. I just need to put a list for her on who goes first to last."
"Well, considering Jett won the challenge for us, I think he should be the first to get a massage," Gabriel told Noah.
"I second that," Maverick agreed, with Lily and Lilith nodding.
Confessional – Jett – Power Poppers
"All that affection, it makes me feel weird. Eh, doesn't matter to me. I get to be the first of the team getting a nice relaxing massage. And oh boy, do I definitely need it."
End Confessional
The Sleek Slushies are inside the brown tent with Duncan. The team's symbol appears on the screen.
"Enjoy your guy's stay," Duncan said as walks away from the group. When no one is looking, he puts some leftover food in the trash cans.
"Well, second place is not so bad," Kylie said to her teammates.
"Is not as bad as the economy class from World Tour," Caleb added.
"I guess we just chat and wait until dinner," Meredith spoke. Everyone sits down at the first table entering into the tent.
"We have to do better next challenge," Axel told his teammates.
"Relax dude, don't be hard on yourself. We only lost to two Power Poppers," Garry told the gentleman.
"Thanks, Garry," Axel expressed gratitude.
Confessional – Garry – Sleek Slushies
"Finally, someone remembers my name," He said happily.
Confessional – Axel – Sleek Slushies
"I wrote Garry's name down on an index card so I can remember."

The Sleek Slushies can hear rattling coming from the trashcans near the tent.
"Can somebody please investigate that?" Hilda asked her teammates.
"I'll do it," Tamera said. "Not because of you, is just for extra camera time." She walks up to the trashcans and sees a bunch of raccoons inside. She screams and runs away from the raccoons, prompting everyone to laugh except for Hilda and Axel.
The Fried Freaks at the arcade center. It is still closed, but the group decide to use the front entrance as a team meeting since the Sleek Slushies are inside the brown tent. Their logo appears on the screen. They are all standing.
"Okay everyone, we all know at one point someone has to be voted off the team," Melissa said, trying to relieve tension from the team. "Instead of pointing fingers, let's try to figure out who did the worst today."
"This meeting is useless," Edgar retorted. "Everyone is going to try and make themselves look like the best player. I'm out of here. Going to take a shower." Edgar leaves the team to do his own thing.
"Wait, you can't just drop out of a team meeting. You get penalties for doing that such as not participating in the regionals," Melissa called out to Edgar.
"Um Melissa, this isn't a sports team," Fenton pointed out kindly.
"Oh right," Melissa realized, blushing sheepishly. She turns around to face her four teammates. "Okay, then forget about my first idea. Let's just vote out Boris."
"How dastardly of you to say that in my presence," Boris told the athletic nerd, not happy at all. "I took out three people in today's challenge."
"That's great Boris, and as a team, we appreciate it. But you are super stuck up and annoying," Melissa confessed.
"I'm not going to sit and let you make me look in the wrong," Boris told back.
"But you weren't sitting," Elsa pointed out.
"You know what I meant," Boris told the gamer. "I suggest voting out Edgar. Clearly, he does not want to be here."
"You don't know that. He probably has a hard time socializing with others," Melissa told the rick kid.
"Well in my society," Boris proclaimed, moving his right arm in a circle. "Those people don't make it far. Scratch that, I have never seen those people make it far." With that over, he leaves the team.
"Okay, this is worse than I thought," Melissa admitted. "You three will be voting out Boris, right?"
"I don't know, Boris made a good point," Elsa said. "Edgar hasn't been sociable with us. We don't even know if he got someone out in the challenge since he never told us."
"This is coming from a gamer and the one who didn't get us a point this challenge," Melissa said accidentally, getting shocked looks from her teammates. "Oh my gosh, Elsa I am so sorry. I did not…"
"Save it," Elsa told the athletic nerd. "If that's what you think of me, then you're right. But at least I try to talk with others." She leaves the others alone but turns around to say one more thing. "By the way, I know exactly who I am voting for tonight."
This makes Melissa nervous.
"Wow, things got awkward," Fenton told Melissa and JJ.
"You two are voting for Boris, right?" Melissa pleaded to Fenton and JJ. "Or should we vote off someone else?"
Fenton and JJ notice the desperate look on their leader's face.
Confessional – Melissa – Fried Freaks
"Everything is fine, everything is completely fine," Melissa smiled while gritting her teeth.
End Confessional
It is nighttime. Chris and Chef are waiting for the Fried Freaks to arrive at the small two-level bleacher the interns set up. There are lamp posts around the bleachers and the two hosts.
Chris looks at his watch and notices the team is running late. "It's already been thirty minutes, where are they?"
"You never told them where the elimination is during the tour," Chef told his friend.
Chris's eyes widen. "Dang it, no wonder they are late. Bring them here Chef."
After a few minutes, Chef brings the Fried Freaks to the elimination ceremony. Fenton, Melissa, and JJ sit on the top row of the bleachers while Boris, Elsa, and Edgar are in the bottom row.
"Thought this place would look more spectacular," Elsa admitted.
"Eh, budget cuts," Chris admitted while shrugging. "Anyway, welcome Fried Freaks to your first elimination ceremony. I definitely expected you six to be here first."
"Thanks," Edgar said sarcastically.
"You teens probably know the rules by now. Each of you will vote out the teammate of your choice in the confessional photo booth. The contestant with the most votes gets eliminated. You all may cast your vote," Chris instructed.
Confessional – Melissa – Fried Freaks
"I feel terrible. I won't be surprised if I get eliminated tonight from the way I have been acting with my teammates. I still vote for Boris."
Confessional – Boris – Fried Freaks
"As much as I dislike the terrible dressed Melissa, she at least proves to be valuable in the dunking part of today's challenge. She gets a pass this time. I vote Edgar.
Confessional – Elsa – Fried Freaks
"I'm voting for Melissa. What she did to my game-guy is understandable, but wow that was rude what she said earlier."
Confessional – Edgar – Fried Freaks
"Elsa didn't get anyone out from the second part of today's challenge, so she has my vote."
End Confessionals
Chris is examining the votes and chuckles happily. "Wow, this one is a toughy. You all despise each other."
"Just give us the marshmallows already," Edgar rushed.
"One, don't interrupt me. Two, this is not a camp. So instead of giving out marshmallows, Chef will be tossing small bags of popcorn at the competitors that survive another day," Chris said. "The only two Freaks that did not receive any votes are Fenton and JJ."
Chef tosses a small bag of popcorn to Fenton and JJ, both catching it happily.
"Now this, is going to be fun to reveal," Chris said smiling. "Before I announce who is eliminated, let's talk about why there is a bottom four. Elsa, you were the only one on the team that did not eliminate someone from today's challenge. Fenton and Boris took out Garry so there is no excuse. Speaking of Boris, you're at the bottom because you have been annoying the majority of your teammates."
"They don't have great taste," Boris blurted out.
Chris ignores him. "Melissa, you're in the bottom four because despite trying to appear as friendly, you definitely have shown dislikes towards some teammates."
"I'm sorry, it just slipped," Melissa told Elsa.
"Edgar, you don't have any problems with your teammates, but you barely even interact with them at all, which is why you're also at the button," Chris mentioned.
"That makes sense," Edgar said.
"The next person to receive a popcorn bag is…"

"Keep telling yourself that," Chris said. He then looks at Edgar. "Sorry dude, but you're out. Should have talked more to your teammates."
Edgar sighs before getting up. "I should have seen this coming. I'm… sorry for not conversating with you all."
"Get out of here already," Boris told the emo. "Trying to enjoy my popcorn."
Edgar grabs Boris's bag and dumbs popcorn onto the rich kid's head.
"That was deserved," Melissa whispered to herself.
"Just get me out of here," Edgar told Chris.
"Gotcha dude, Chef will take you out of the carnival. Then just ride the lame-o-sine," Chris instructed.
Edgar does not say goodbye to his teammates and leaves with Chef. Chris watches them go then looks at the remaining Fried Freaks.
"If you five don't want to be back here again, I suggest you all settle your differences," Chris warned the Fried Freaks.

"I was having a hard time deciding who to vote off. Luckily Boris told me and JJ to vote for Edgar. Sorry dude, if we talked with each other, we could have been great friends."
End Confessional
The Fried Freaks enter the brown tent. The Sleek Slushies notice that Edgar is no longer with the team. All of them decide to keep quiet as they notice the tired expressions on the third-place team's faces. Well, except one.
"Great choice on voting off the one that is not entertaining in the slightest," Tamera spoke, having a few scratches on her thanks to the raccoons from earlier.
"Shut it Tamera," Melissa said to the vixen.
The scene changes to Edgar outside the carnival entrance with Chef. There is a black limo waiting for the eliminated contestant. The emo enters the limo. The vehicle then leaves. Chris is shown outside the carnival watching everything. He then looks at the nearest camera to end the episode.
"That's a wrap for this episode. Will the Fried Freaks solve their differences? Can the Power Poppers go on a winning streak? Will Lilith stop asking morbid questions to her teammates? Which guy from the Sleek Slushies will get a girl? Probably none of them. Find out next time on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"
At the lame-o-sine…
Edgar is sitting inside the limousine, thinking of his time on the show. "Could have done better honestly. I was… afraid."
"It stinks that you're the first one out," The driver of the limousine said, who happens to be a sixteen-year-old girl.
Edgar can only see her long wavy black hair that can reach down to the middle of her back. He cannot see anything since she is driving.
"But hey, at least you get more time to shine in the aftermath show," The driver continued.
"What, aftermath?" Edgar said confused.
"Yeah, didn't you read your contract? This season has aftermaths," The driver stated.
Edgar sighs with annoyance. "Great, more talking."

와우, 그 시는 숨이 막힐 - Wow, that poem is breathtaking
음, 감사합니다, 당신이 그것을 즐겼다 기뻐요 - Well, thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it
Author's note: Thanks to everyone who is reading this story and the reviewers. I appreciate it a lot. As for Edgar going, him being distant from his team cost him the stay. Boris could have gone for Melissa, but as he mention in the episode, she is more valuable to stay in his eyes. Plus the small gesture of Melissa lending her beach towel to Boris also helps out. Anyway, Edgar is eliminated but not gone from the story. He has an interview to do in the first Crowstilloverse aftermath. The aftermath will not happen until a couple of episodes later.
