Teams

Power Poppers: Buford, Jett, Maverick, Sua, Lisa, and Lilith

Sleek Slushies: Axel, Caleb, Garry, Kylie, Meredith, Tamera, and Hilda

Fried Freaks: Boris, Fenton, Melissa, JJ, and Elsa

"Last time on Total Drama Carnival Calamity," Chris said, narrating the previous episode as flashbacks occur. "The teams got into their swimsuits to play some volleyball with an electrifying twist. Melissa got competitive, Fenton got out first, Tamera played mind games with Elsa while Buford took Melissa out of the challenge. Infuriated, Melissa pops the volleyball, giving her team a disadvantage in the second challenge."

"Luckily, her team can put okay enough results in the slide trick challenge, making sure the Fried Freaks get second place. The Power Poppers return to first place thanks to their skills. In the end, Caleb played his game well, convincing Marty into accidentally messing up his trick and blackmailing Meredith into voting off the photographer, or did she?"

The flashbacks end. Chris is shown at the amphitheater that was shown in episode six. It still looks like the one used from the first season. "Who will be the fifth contestant out of the carnival? Find out now on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"

The episode starts inside the brown tent where a camera shows the Sleek Slushies waiting for breakfast at a table except for Tamera and Hilda, both not shown in the shot. Kylie turns Marty's camera on and looks perplexed. The team's symbol appears on the screen.

"Wish I told Marty to explain to me how to use this," Kylie said to herself. She takes a picture with the camera and looks at the photo. She sighs, clearly not happy about the results of the photo.

While the cheerleader continues to figure out the camera, Garry is watching Axel and Caleb play a game of cards. The gentleman has five cards in his hand while the handsome genius has four.

"Have any threes?" Caleb asked Axel.

"Nope," Axel responded politely while his eyes are narrowed.

"I thought you two were playing poker for some reason," Garry admitted, feeling dumb.

"Eventually you have to stop being so stubborn on wanting me out," Caleb advised Axel as he ignores Garry. "You're going to get yourself eliminated if you keep at it."

Axel keeps quiet to figure what number he should say. As he is doing that, Caleb looks over to his left to gaze at Kylie and Meredith.

Confessional – Caleb – Sleek Slushies

He does not look happy. He has his arms crossed. "I got rid of Marty because of his camera. Now Kylie has it. Can't get rid of her if we lose today's challenge because I promised Bobby to vote for who he wants gone." He starts thinking. "Maybe I could, I always have Meredith to help me. Unless she was the one who didn't vote for Marty. Guess I have some asking to do."

End Confessional

Melissa and JJ are at the other table both waiting for breakfast. However, JJ is noticing the athletic nerd tapping the table with her left fingers. The silent clown takes a notebook and pencil out of her wig to write something down. She rips the page and passes it to Melissa.

Melissa takes the paper with her right hand and reads it out loud. "What's with the tapping?" She stops tapping on the table and looks at JJ. "Fenton is with Boris and Elsa again. I'm afraid at one point that snob is going to gain his vote."

JJ keeps listening to the athletic nerd. Fenton does not about what Melissa did during the volleyball challenge. She might need to find a way to communicate with Fenton about that.

"Might have to result in different methods to make sure I keep him in my side," Melissa concluded. She stands up from the chair she is sitting in. "Let's go to the arcade center."

She leaves the brown tent quickly. JJ decides to follow her.

Seeing the two female Fried Freaks leave, Kylie whispers to Meredith.

"Hey, can we talk privately?" Kylie whispered to the historian. She points to the table where the Fried Freaks sat.

Meredith nods in agreement and the two sit at the table together.

"Do you by having any chance know how this camera works?" The cheerleader asked, giving the camera to Meredith.

"Well, this is a digital camera that's for sure," Meredith said as she holds the camera in her hands. "First one was made in nineteen seventy-five by…"

"I just want to know how it works," Kylie reminded.

"Oh sorry," Meredith apologized. "Well, I don't know exactly how digital cameras work, but I do know the basics. Focus on the velocity, ISO, and aperture. Those are key to taking pictures."

"Thanks," Kylie smiled. The historian passes the camera back to her. "By the way, I know about you and Buford."

Meredith's smile drops. "Oh, it's nothing. We just like to hang out."

"Then why are you blushing," Kylie teased.

Meredith is indeed blushing. "I get flustered easily."

Kylie smirks at the historian. "Don't worry about it. Your secret is safe with me. And if Axel finds out and gives you a hard time, I'll vote him out."

"Wait, you'll do that for me?" Meredith said, wanting to be sure she heard what the cheerleader spoke correctly.

"Of course, we're friends right?" Kylie asked.

"Sure."

Confessional – Kylie – Sleek Slushies

"Look, I like all my teammates despite some cons here and there, but Axel isn't a big deal when it comes to eliminating someone. Hilda is being more of a leader than he is now. Obviously, I want Tamera gone, but if Axel rages over the fact Meredith has a crush on Buford on the other team, then the dude has issues.

End Confessional

Tamera and Hilda arrive inside the brown tent. Both are holding a large silver flat plate in their left hands. On each plate are three bowls of gruel.

"What's going on?" Axel asked confused about what he is seeing.

"Tamera decided to bring breakfast instead of Chef," Hilda answered her friend. "Isn't that right Tamera?"

Tamera is smiling, exposing her white teeth. "Yes, I want to start making up for my behavior in the past."

"How long you had to rehearse saying that?" Kylie mocked the vixen.

Tamera looks at Hilda who smiles at her. She then looks back at the cheerleader. "Gosh, Kylie you are so dang funny."

Her teammates except for Hilda and Axel snicker at her.

"Is there anything else you want to compliment about me?" Kylie asked with a sly grin.

"Let's just eat breakfast," Tamera said with her forced bubbly voice and expressions.

She and Hilda serve the gruel to everyone except for Garry.

"Um, where's my bowl?" Garry asked the two girls.

Hilda's eyes widen. "Oh my gosh, we completely forgot."

"Sorry Parry," Tamera faked apologized.

The historian stands up from the chair she was sitting on. "It is okay. He can have my bowl. I'm going to pass on the gruel. I'll just grab an energy bar from the hut." She walks out for the tent.

Axel decides to stand up to follow her, but Kylie sits him back down by grabbing his shoulders.

"Eat breakfast first, then go look for her," Kylie told the gentleman. "It will be rude to leave when Tamera and Hilda served this to us." She looks at the vixen. "Right?"

Tamera puts down the flat plate with her bowl on it on the table. Then she proceeds to head outside the tent to vomit. Her teammates can hear the sound.

"This I got to see," Caleb said and decides to leave the brown tent.

"I still don't understand why you're helping her be nice," Axel told Hilda before eating his breakfast.

"She asked for help and I'm providing that," Hilda smiled. "She'll come around."

Outside the tent, Caleb watches Tamera vomit in a trash can nearby. He laughs at her. "Playing the nice act? Wow, you're really desperate to stay in the game."

Tamera finishes vomiting to turn around and look at the handsome genius. "Don't come here to gloat. You're doing the same."

"Yeah, but I enjoy it. Big difference right there," Caleb countered. "Don't worry, just keep that act up so I can save your butt again."

Tamera puts a lid on the trashcan she vomited in. "You think you have power over me?"

Caleb walks up to her smirking. "Of course, you need me to keep you away from elimination."

Tamera smirks back. "Really? Then I guess I can tell Kylie who is responsible for planning Marty's elimination."

Caleb's smirk fades away into a scowl. "You wouldn't dare."

"Oh, you know I would," Tamera boasted. "I'm the target right now, but that can easily shift on you if I speak about it."

Caleb clenches his hands into fists.

"That's right babycakes, you're my bitch now," Tamera insulted. "Because if I go, you're going down with me."

Caleb says no words and heads inside the brown tent to eat his breakfast. Tamera beams triumphantly.

Inside the arcade center, Elsa is watching Boris and Fenton playing an arcade fighting game. The competent sidekick can score a win once the game ends.

"Yes!" Fenton cheered excitedly. "Good games Boris." The two boys shake hands.

"Nice of Boris to finally let you play these arcade games with you," Elsa told the competent sidekick.

"It is, never thought he'll do it," Fenton admitted with his bright smile, looking at the gamer.

"Well, what are teammates for?" Boris told Fenton, patting the small kid's back with his left hand. "We are here to hang out with each other."

"That's right Fenton," Elsa called to get the boy's attention. "And as teammates who hang out with you more than the other two, we three should stick together."

Fenton gives a perplexed look at the gamer. He raises his left eyebrow. "Where are you going with this Elsa?"

Before Elsa or Boris can answer, Melissa and JJ open the doors of the arcade center.

"There you three are," Melissa said as she walks up to her team with JJ. "Had all of you have forgotten about breakfast?"

Fenton's eyes widen with surprise. "Oh wow, sorry Melissa. I was too preoccupied playing in the arcade with Boris."

Melissa narrows her eyes at Boris. Then she stops to give Fenton a warm smile. "No worries, Fenton, let's just walk back and hope Chef served our gruel." The Fried Freaks head outside the arcade center. "By the way, you look incredible with those clothes."

"Um, I wear these every day," Fenton reminded.

"Just wanted to tell you now," Melissa stated softly.

Inside the gold tent are the Power Poppers eating their breakfast except for Buford not being there. Breakfast today is big cinnamon buns with icing on top. Their sides are a bowl of various fruits like bananas, grapes, strawberries, and more.

"I don't think cinnamon buns are a good breakfast meal," Jett admitted, taking a cinnamon bun with his right hand, and taking a large bite of it. He swallows to talk more. "But I'm not complaining, this tastes great."

Lisa is shown cutting a piece of her large cinnamon bun with a fork and knife. "I bet you taste great as well," The poet said quietly.

"Huh?" Jett said, knowing his teammate said something but could not quite hear.

"Have you read my poems?" Lisa quickly changed the subject.

"Yeah," Jett answered. He takes another bite.

"What do you think of them?" Lisa asked, scooching over with her chair closer to the runaway. She makes sure to cut a piece of Jett's cinnamon bun with her fork and knife. She offers to feed him by using her hands to gesture the idea.

Jett narrows his eyes at her. This immediately makes Lisa put down the piece she cut onto his plate. "They are great. You have a lot of knowledge of the United States. I've been to various tourist sites, and you describe them well in a graceful way." His eyes are no longer narrow. He takes the cinnamon bun Lisa cut and eats it.

Lisa decides to take her cinnamon bun in her left hand to take a bite. After swallowing she talks. "Yeah, I've searched up a lot of Europe and America. I admire their western media a lot and study it in my free time. It's one of the reasons that made me want to write poetry."

Jett now begins eating some fruits from his bowl.

"I've seen you writing in your journal. What inspires you to write?" Lisa asked the blonde.

"Well… whatever I find interesting. Usually, it's just the big places everyone knows about," Jett admitted.

"Can I read them?" Lisa asked, getting a bit too close to her teammate's face.

"No, no one wants to read my stuff," Jett answered. He stands up to leave the tent, no longer in the mood to talk.

Lisa frowns but decides to stay in her seat.

Confessional – Lisa – Power Poppers

"Ever since I started liking Jett, I've been doing my best not to be too clingy. It's so hard not trying to be on top of that stud body, dreamy grey eyes, and wonderful sense of humor. I want to follow him, but my gut tells me not to this time."

End Confessional

Sua and Lilith are having a conversation that some people might find strange.

"Which stab wound would hurt the most that are not the head, neck, or heart?" Lilith asked the idol.

"Ooo, the leg because you need them to walk," Sua answered, thinking that is correct. "What pinches harder, a crab or a lobster?"

Lilith looks at Sua weirdly. That is not a morbid question. Nonetheless, she still answers. "The lobster has bigger pinchers, so they must hurt more." The goth decides to think of another question. "Which scene is most likely for a person to die, falling down a staircase or an elevator crashing down?"

"Um… the person will be in the elevator, correct?" Sua wanted to confirm, starting to feel uncomfortable.

"Can be under if you like," Lilith answered smiling attentively.

Sua's left eye twitches. "I wonder how squishy a person's organs are."

Is now Lilith's turn to feel a bit uncomfortable. What does that have to do with the question she asked?

Maverick watches the two conversate and sighs.

Confessional – Maverick – Power Poppers

"I'm glad my team is getting along, but I'm starting to feel out of the group. Sure, there's Buford but he's always doing his own thing. I just hope I don't get voted out because I'm not close to anyone."

End Confessional

Duncan and Noah arrive at the gold tent.

"Chris wants you all to be at the amphitheater," Duncan told the team. He looks around and notices Buford not around. "Where's Bo?"

Speaking of Mr. Keep it Real, Buford is with Meredith at the Burgaby Bludidle Hut. The two are drinking banana smoothies while Lucy is organizing some out-of-place prizes.

"Is great to see you again at the hut Lucy," Meredith told the detective in training.

"Yes, Chef was right on me needing more rest," Lucy stated. "Sorry for not being here for the last couple of days."

"No worries, your health is important," Meredith assured. She drinks her smoothie.

"Especially since you know how to make these great smoothies," Buford added.

Meredith almost spits out her drink while Lucy looks at Bo curiously.

"Me? Why do you think I made them?" Lucy asked.

"Because my team is in first class. Your team is eating gruel and drinking water," Buford answered towards Meredith. "Plus, why would you have two smoothies for yourself. I know you're working with Lucy."

Lucy groans. "Ugh, I told you I shouldn't have made that smoothie for him," She told Meredith.

Meredith looks at Buford. She is in big trouble. "Buford, I can explain."

"I will like an answer," Buford said, crossing his arms. "What's this deal about?"

Lucy is thinking in her head. How did Buford find out about her secret alliance with the historian?

"Lucy promised to give me gold tent class food as I give information to her about this carnival's history," Meredith confessed.

Buford processes in his mind what the blonde just said. "That's it?"

"Um, yeah," Meredith answered.

Buford looks at Lucy. "You never gave her any secret information about me or the rest of the contestants?"

"I was, but she just wanted better quality food," Lucy stated.

"It felt like cheating if I learned about everybody," Meredith explained her reasoning.

Buford laughs, finding this revelation hilarious. "In exchange for food? Here I thought you were some kind of mastermind villain. Waiting for your moment to strike."

"That sounds like something Scarlett would do," Meredith told him.

"Yeah, Scarlett," Lucy spoke quietly. Why does she have a feeling that brainiac has to deal with Bo finding out?

"Guess you're going to tell everyone I'm working for Lucy," Meredith said to Buford, looking gloomy. She puts her left elbow on the hut's counter.

"Nah," Buford said, surprising the two girls. "Whether it be food or facts on others I was never going to tell anyone. Blackmail? Don't know about that. But I do know I would have kept it secret."

"Why though?" Meredith questioned. "Anybody else would have done it."

"Well, I ain't anybody now, am I?" Buford answered casually.

Lucy watches Meredith starting to blush. The historian rubs the back of her head with her right hand.

"Since you know about the secret, guess I should let you know on something else," Meredith said nervously, almost stuttering with some words.

Buford's curiosity spikes up as he crosses his arms. "Oh?"

"Caleb and Kylie think we're trying to become a couple," Meredith affirmed.

"I don't mind that. In fact, we can make it a reality," Buford admitted, not caring about what her teammates think.

"Wait? What?" Meredith said flabbergasted. She points to Bo and then to her as she talks. "You want to be in a relationship with me?"

"I don't mind. You're cool, tolerable, and I like your history facts," Buford admitted, done with his arms crossed. He put his right arm on the counter. "As someone who wants to become a reporter, knowing history intrigues me to some extent."

Meredith can feel her heart pumping fast and her cheeks blushing red as a tomato. "This doesn't make sense. This is happening so fast. I've been digging you for a while now, but this is not how I imagine it to go. When I watch movies usually the guy has to…"

Before she can ramble on, Buford quickly kisses her right cheek.

"You're cute when you ramble, but don't do it too often because it will get annoying," Buford flirted and advised.

Meredith touches the cheek he kissed. Her smile is wide. She just nods in understanding, happy to get a smooch. "Once someone finds out they'll be targeting us."

"Double the risk, double the reward," Buford spoke smoothly.

Suddenly, Lucy's walkie-talkie starts to make static noises.

"Lucy," Chris called out to the intern through the device. "Is Buford and Meredith with you?"

Lucy takes out the walkie-talkie from her pocket to talk. "Yes, they are."

"Tell them to head to the amphitheater. I need to announce the challenge and the other teens are arriving," Chris instructed.

A new scene emerges with Chris at the stage of the amphitheater with Chef by his side. The Fried Freaks and Power Poppers are sitting on the left bleachers while the Sleek Slushies are sitting on the right bleachers in the camera's point of view. All team symbols appear on the screen.

"Welcome teams, anyone want to guess what will be tonight's challenge?" Chris asked the contestants.

JJ raises her hand but since Chris knows she is mute he ignores her.

"Anyone else wants to guess?" Chris asked.

JJ opens her mouth baffled but she remains quiet because she is mute.

"Oh, it's a talent show contestant!" Kylie answered excitedly.

"Correct Kylie," Chris confirmed.

"Did we have to guess? It's pretty obvious that today's challenge will be it considering we are at a theater," Lisa retorted.

"Hasn't this show done enough talent challenges?" Jett wondered.

"This is the fourth one, right?" Axel asked the host.

"Yes, and no we have not done enough talent contests," Chris assured. "Those episodes get high ratings."

"And controversy," Elsa pointed out.

"How did Heather and Knick get away with so much I'll never know," Melissa said.

Chris starts explaining the challenge. "Today's talent show challenge is similar to one from Island and Crowstillo Island. Each team will be selecting three contestants to perform tonight on stage to impress four judges."

"Four?" Maverick wondered.

"Didn't we just do something similar last challenge?" Lilith questioned.

"Will they be scores again because that's so original doing it the fifth time," Lisa said to the host sarcastically.

"Okay Saraphina if you must know," Chris tried to insult the poet. "The judges will not tally the contest by numbers. Instead, it will be by a thumbs up." The host gives a thumbs up from his right hand. "Or a thumbs down." He proceeds to do what he said. "If a performer gets a thumbs up from all four judges, they automatically win it for their team. If a performer gets a thumbs down from all four judges, that team automatically uses."

"What if no one can get them all down or up?" Hilda asked.

"Then the judges will decide which team performed the best and worst," Chris answered her question.

"And who will be the judges?" Tamera asked in a rude tone. "Obviously you and Chef, but what about the other two?"

"Since the producers only want a cameo for an episode, Noah will be one of the judges," Chris announced.

Chef is shown dragging Noah onto the stage.

"I'm getting paid extra for this right?" Noah asked the host with a deadpanned expression.

Chris ignores him. "Our next judge happens to be a fanatic that loves the world of theater. Give it up for Sami!"

The girl that the host announced walks onto the stage. She has straight red velvet-dyed hair that passes her chest and has side bangs. Her skin color is white, has green eyes, soft pink lips, and a small nose. She has some eyeshadow on. She is five feet and one inch tall. She is also fit and wears a plain colorful shirt with no logo and some jean shorts, pink shoes and has one sock red and the other green. She has a Fitbit watch on her left wrist.

"Hi everyone," Sami greeted the three teams happily while waving with her right hand. "I'm really excited to be a judge today. I know all of you have some kind of excellent talent that will be brought upon this stage tonight."

"Uh, Sami, it's only going to be nine performers," Chris told the theater girl.

Sami looks at the host with a blank stare. "Oh, that's still good."

"I wonder how you're going to sabotage this time," Axel exclaimed to Sami with a glare.

Sami notices the looks she is getting from some competitors and frowns. "Yes, I know what I did to Yves was unnecessary. I have made sure that I don't go down that disgusting path again. I even tried to contact Yves to see if we can recreate our friendship but no response."

"You're old news," Tamera insulted. "What else do have to know Chris?"

"Pretty much what I already said. Four judges, three performers per team, talent show starts at night," Chris summarized. "Oh, and if any of you need materials for your talent just ask an intern to take you to the storage room. There's a bunch of junk in there that is bound to help. Have fun deciding!"

Confessional – Melissa – Fried Freaks

"Not to be rude at my team, but… this looks bad. Besides JJ I don't know what my other teammates can show up in this challenge. Especially Fenton. He's cute but he is kind of becoming a liability. Still need his vote though."

Confessional – Hilda – Sleek Slushies

"I didn't show it when Chris was giving instructions, but I am so excited for this challenge. I've been wanting to demonstrate my singing ever since I got on this show." She squeals with joy but then realizes something. "I just hope nobody pulls a Casey and sabotages my voice like what she did to Ashley, but what are the chances of that?" She ends the confessional with a chuckle.

Confessional – Buford – Power Poppers

"Maybe I can sit out on a challenge for once. Lisa likes poetry and Sua has mentioned she can dance without falling in less than a minute, so my team might actually have a shot at winning this challenge."

End Confessionals

Scene changes to show the judges no longer at the amphitheater. Instead, is just the Power Poppers sitting in a circle on the stage while the Sleek Slushies are at one of the bleachers. The Fried Freaks must be somewhere else since they are not present. The symbol of the Power Poppers team appears on the screen.

"Alright team let's start with the basics," Maverick said charmingly. "Who here wants to volunteer for the challenge?"

Lisa, Sua, and Lilith raise their hands.

Maverick looks at Jett and Buford. "You two don't want to try?"

"The girls seem to be able to handle this one," Buford answered. "Besides, I thought anyone other than Sami will be impressed by sport tricks."

"Yeah, Lisa is good at poetry unlike me so it's better if the girls participate," Jett added.

"Woohoo! Girl power!" Lilith said joyfully.

"That's not true Jett," Lisa told the runaway. "None of us haven't even seen your writing. You should give it a shot."

"Can't be worse than fanfiction writers," Buford told the blonde.

"Hey, there is quality among those. Not every fanfic is bad," Lilith defended.

"Excuse me, we're talking about the challenge," Maverick reminded. His teammates pay attention to him. "Since we guys agree that the girls should perform, they will. Now, what will each of you be performing?"

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to demonstrate my skills in poetry," Lisa stated.

"I'm going to do a spectacular dance that will impress everyone," Sua joyfully said. "This going to be totally epic."

"What kind of choreography will you be doing?" Jett asked the idol.

"Um… I don't know. Most likely a song that my dance group Nightmare has performed," Sua replied.

"You're in a dance group call Nightmare? That's a nice name," Lilith complimented. "What kind of creeptastic fuel do you perform?"

"It….its just the group's name," Sua spoke rapidly. "We do our best not to cause nightmares I swear."

"Hmm, okay," Lilith said in a sing-song voice.

"Lilith," Maverick called the goth to get her attention. "You mentioned being a drummer in your band."

"Yeah, I'm hoping that the storage place has a set of drums and drumsticks to perform tonight," Lilith said. "Because if I don't have that then you all will have to throw stuff at me. Like hard stuff."

"Why?" Jett wondered, weirded out.

"Because I can handle it," Lilith simply told.

Buford stands up. "Let's go find an intern and the storage room."

"Good idea Bo," Maverick complimented as he stands up. "By the way ladies, your talents have to be Total Drama theme."

"Theme?" Lilith wonders perplexed as she stands up. The rest of the team does as well.

"Yeah, Lisa will write a poem about Total Drama, Lilith will play the theme song in the drums, and Sua will do a dance from a World Tour song," Maverick explained. "The sea-shanty one is a banger."

"Um, we kind of want to do our own thing," Lilith told the promoter. Sua and Lisa nod in agreement.

"Of course, you three will be providing your talents," Maverick reminded calmly. "But if we want to win the challenge making it Total Drama theme is a guaranteed victory. You three do want to win right?"

Maverick's female teammates look at each other with concern.

The Fried Freaks are shown near the Bargaby Bludidle Hut, most likely to see what the place offers after figuring out who will perform. The team's symbol appears on the screen.

"Okay so JJ will be performing tonight," Melissa said, already confirming the silent clown. "We just need two more. Fenton and Elsa, what can you two provide?"

"Hey, what about me?" Boris pondered.

"Nothing personal Boris, but I doubt you can impress the judges," Melissa tried to lay it down gently.

"You just don't believe the judges will honor my tastes," Boris spoke.

"Fine," Melissa stated with an annoyed face. "What can you provide Boris?"

"Nothing," Boris answered, making Melissa more annoyed with him. "Feel like I'll be wasting my time."

"Then why did you make me ask in the first place?" Melissa said, glaring at the rich kid.

"Because you didn't include me and we're in a team," Boris replied. "Isn't that right Fenton?"

Fenton notices the tension flaring between Melissa and Boris. "Um, I guess for the challenge I can clean something really dirty? My mom always says I clean up the house really fast."

"A whole house?" Elsa said astonished. "In what time?"

"About two to three hours," Fenton answered courteously.

JJ claps her hands for Fenton, impressed by such a feat.

"Okay, I'll admit that can excite the judges, but where can we find something so dirty that Fenton can clean?" Melissa asked.

"I can think of two options," Boris told her.

"Go on," Melissa gritted her teeth.

"Something in the storage room or whatever garbage Chef makes. He probably has a lot of filthy pots that need scrubbing," Boris spoke.

"That's… not a bad idea," Melissa admitted.

"Of course is not because it is coming from me," Boris retorted.

"I can do a videogame speed run," Elsa chimed in, trying to stop her teammates from constantly being at each other's throats. "The storage room could have some retro classics. I'll just need a TV, a console, and a controller."

"That'll be fun to watch," Fenton admitted.

"Okay so Fenton will do rapid cleaning, Elsa a videogame speed run, and JJ will do her clown act," Melissa said.

"Which means you and Boris will be getting dirty pots from Chef's kitchen," Elsa told her.

"What?" Melissa and Boris said in unison. They glare at each other.

"Hey, JJ, Fenton, and I will be preparing ourselves for tonight's challenge. The least you two can do is bring Fenton what he needs," Elsa told the two, undoubtedly not even trying to hide her smirk.

"Fine," Melissa and Boris once again said in unison.

Confessional – Melissa – Fried Freaks

"Is not like I have a choice. Though I am making sure I bring more stuff to Fenton so he can vote by my side in case the team loses."

Confessional – Boris – Fried Freaks

"Wish I can choose not to, but I must. As long as I bring more materials than that bloody Melissa to Fenton he'll soon enough be on my side."

End Confessionals

At the bleachers, Hilda is shown ready to take charge of the Sleek Slushies. The team's symbol appears on the screen.

"Get ready team because I'm going to be singing," Hilda exclaimed cheerfully. Look at those innocent loveable blue eyes.

"You sing?" Garry wondered.

"My parents take me to operas when I was in France which inspired me to sing," Hilda explained. "When I move to Canada and participated in a school assembly, I was a nervous wreck. Still sang though. But now, I can definitely give us the win."

"Love that enthusiasm madam," Axel told Hilda. "I'll be doing motor crossing. Going to show some nice skills."

"Don't you need a motorcycle to do that?" Caleb questioned.

"I believe Chris has one," Meredith said.

"I doubt Chris will enjoy you riding his hog," Kylie told Axel. "Even though I'll like to see you perform that."

"Maybe the storage place might have a motorcycle?" Hilda suggested.

"Or we can steal Chris' motorcycle," Tamera said out loud. She notices the looks her team is giving her. "I mean, we can ask the best host ever to let us borrow his motorcycle."

"I suggest we think of some other ideas," Garry advised.

"Good idea Ben, any talent you want to show us?" Meredith asked, still not knowing her teammate's name.

"I was considering anybody that is not me," Garry answered, ignoring the historian calling him Ben.

"Oh, then I can provide some historical facts for the judges," Meredith happily said.

"So they can all give…" Tamera stops to control herself from insulting. "Thumbs up? Your historical facts are fan…" She almost pukes again. "Tastic, but I don't think the judges will enjoy that."

"I can do a cheerleading act," Kylie suggested.

"Yes," Garry and Caleb said at the same time.

"That can be beneficial," Caleb added.

Kylie smirks at the handsome genius. "I know why you two want me to perform and you're right. I am smoking after all, just like you two."

"Not as hot as me of course," Tamera said with her own grin.

"So Hilda is singing and Kylie is cheerleading. We're missing one more act," Axel told his team. "I still cannot do the motor crossing?"

"That's going to take a lot of time to put in less than a day," Hilda told the gentleman. "I know you want to perform, but sometimes simple is better."

"True," Axel admitted.

"Why doesn't Caleb perform?" Tamera suggested.

"What?" Caleb said confused.

"A handsome guy like you must have some type of talent," Kylie playfully flirted.

Caleb gets nervous. Him performing?

"Yeah, you can do it, pal," Axel told his teammate. "You won't let the team down, would you?"

Caleb feels like screaming. What kind of act he is going to come up with for the talent show?

The scene changes to Melissa and Boris outside, around Chef's mess hall. Both are hiding next to trash cans.

"Out of all the hiding spots, you had to pick the one that smells?" Boris questioned the athletic nerd's decision-making.

"Shut it, we can't sneak into the kitchen if you don't shut up," Melissa whispered harshly.

The two continue to wait for Chef to exit the mess hall.

"Starting to feel like there's a better way to do this," Boris admitted, rubbing his chin with his left hand.

Suddenly, Chef opens the door from the mess hall and leaves the area. Once he is out of sight Melissa and Boris enter the place through the door.

"Remember what we came here for," Melissa reminded the rich kid. Her teammate nods in understanding.

They enter the kitchen section and open cabinets to find dirty pots. After discovering so many clean ones, they look at the kitchen counter where a fifty-three-quart steel pot is shown. Absolutely filthy the sight.

"Is that pot used every time Chef makes gruel?" Melissa asked Boris.

"I'm desperately hoping we win tonight," Boris stated. He walks to the pot to hold it.

"Wait," Melissa called out before Boris can carry the pot. "Should we be doing this? Isn't this stealing?"

"Please, we're doing that wannabe five-star chef a favor," Boris insulted the bulky man. "Fenton is going to make this sparkly clean."

An idea hatches in Melissa's mind. "Then I guess we can do this." She grabs some pots from the cabinet nearest to her and starts putting gruel on them.

"What are you doing?" Boris asked snootily.

"Making these pots dirty," Melissa answered. "The more stuff Fenton has to clean faster the more impress the judges will be."

"Please, he'll be more impress by me bringing the big one," Boris said cockily.

As he walks away, Melissa puts her two hands on the large pot. "What a great idea."

The two begin to tug on the pot. Boris lets go so Melissa can fall on top of the large pot. The smaller ones get out from inside the pot and into the athletic nerd's face.

"You're right, it is a great idea," Boris grinned.

A new scene commences with Buford, Jett, and Lisa near an empty carnival booth. There is a pile of random stuff on the ground near the poet, who is currently writing what she will say at the talent show with a notebook and pen.

Buford sighs, this is getting boring for him. Until he sees Meredith walking by. Before he goes to talk with her, he remembers something.

"Hey Jett, can we talk?" Buford asked his teammate. "Right now."

Jett eyes him curiously but decides to chat, leaving Lisa alone. Caleb is shown in the background.

"Do you need something?" Jett asked Bo.

"Yeah, you went through the sleeping bags to find the idol, right?" Buford asked.

"I did," Jet answered in a monotone voice while keeping a poker look.

"Make sure to give it to me after the challenge," Buford told the runaway, referring to the immunity idol.

"I don't have it dude," Jett said.

"What?" Buford exclaimed flabbergasted. "What do you mean you don't have it? Did you even try to pickpocket?"

"No one has the idol Buford," Jett said as he puts his hands in his jeans pockets. "I checked all tents and sleeping bags. Either someone is hiding it really well, or the Ringleader took it for giggles."

He turns around to head back to Lisa. Buford doubt Jett is telling the truth. He ponders a bit until a friendly historian tries to spook him.

"I can see your shadow," Buford told Meredith unamused.

"Dang it sun," Meredith said out loud. Bo turns around so the two can gaze at each other. "So, will you be performing tonight?"

"Nah, the girls on my team will be showing up," Buford answered calmly. "If they can provide a show that is." He hears Meredith giggle. "What about you?"

"They said my historical facts will bore the judges," Meredith told him. She was not sad saying about it, more so annoyed.

"Those judges don't have good taste," Buford honestly spoke.

"Yeah," Meredith agreed and blushes.

There is a small awkward silence.

"Want to hang out by the pool? In an hour? With our swimsuits?" Buford asked smoothly.

"Yes!" Meredith exclaimed excitedly. She gets embarrassed by her outburst. "I mean, that's cool."

"Cool," Buford gave a thumbs up. "See you there."

Once the two go their separate ways, Jett is shown walking back to Lisa as soon as Caleb leaves.

"What was that stick talking to you about?" Jett asked the poet, insulting the Sleek Slushie.

Lisa turns around with a smug look. "Oh, don't worry about that. By the way, change of plans. We're doing what I want my way."

"Maverick said to stick with TD theme," Jett reminded.

"Is Maverick here?" Lisa asked.

"No," Jett answered.

"Do you care what he said?"

"Not really."

"Then help me out by creating what I need for the team to win," Lisa demanded.

"You're not the boss of me you know that?" Jett spat. "I'm only helping you to win the challenge. Don't charge me."

"Wait, you're not here to hang out with me?" Lisa asked confused.

Jett notices her sudden soft change of expression and voice. Why did he have to make this awkward?

A new scene emerges with Lilith and Duncan near the storage room. The goth is practicing her drums on the seven-piece drum set the delinquent found. The drums consist of blue rack mounted toms, blue floor tom, silver snare drum, blue bass drum, silver bass drum pedal, silver drum key, stool, silver cymbal stand with its gold cymbal, and the silver hi-hat stand with the gold hi-hat cymbals. Almost forgot the beige drumsticks.

Lilith is providing a nice beat, to which Duncan is rocking out.

"You got skills girl," Duncan complimented the goth. "I knew you were a drummer, but you're almost as skilled as the drummer from my band."

Lilith stops playing the drums to conversate with the delinquent. "Wait, how did you know I'm in a band?"

"Some of us interns checked up information on all of you," Duncan answered. He lays on a perfectly sturdy rock that can be used as a chair. He puts his hands under his head.

"Are you here to flirt with me?" Lilith said with distaste.

"Nah, just to be entertained. Chris is only allowing Noah to show up at the challenge. Might as well hear your practice lesson and do nothing to pass the time," Duncan explained. "Unless you want me to mess with ya."

"No thanks, I don't like guys who flirt with me," Lilith stated with a hint of disgust.

"What does that mean?" Duncan wondered suspiciously.

Lilith, feeling nervous decides to play the total drama theme song on her drums.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Caleb repeated as he arrives at the scene to get the drummer's attention. "Are you playing the total drama theme song?"

"Yeah, don't think of stealing my idea," Lilith told the handsome lad. "Or I guess this is Maverick's idea."

"The drums or the song?" Caleb asked.

"Yes," Lilith answered with a smile and giggles bubbly.

"Cute," Caleb said as he rolls his eyes. "I overheard you are part of a band. Why go for something simple when you can go all out? Wouldn't it be better to perform a solo from a song your bandmates did?"

"Yeah, but uh… Maverick from my team thinks the TD theme will be more impressive," Lilith said. "Now please go away I need to rehearse."

Caleb gives an unamused look. "Yeah, I'm sure your bandmates and fans will be excited for you not to play a solo. Is not like this show is international where millions of people can see what you can do."

This makes Lilith ponder in her thoughts as the handsome genius leaves.

Confessional – Caleb – Sleek Slushies

He is shown creating a moving-mouth puppet that has similar facial features to his face and shirt. He puts googly eyes on the puppet.

"I'm awesome and I know it, but when it comes to talent shows I'm the average joe. So, I plan to strike the egos of the Power Poppers to perform over the top and fail hard when they try hard."

He analyzes for a few seconds his plan. "Now that I said it out loud, it sounds really stupid. It might even give them a boost. Shit, this might cost me a lot."

Confessional – Duncan – Intern

"Did I know Caleb was playing with Lilith's head? Yeah, but I'm not allowed to get into the drama the players are making." He narrows his eyes. "Stupid contracts."

End Confessionals

The Sleeks Slushies are at another area with carnival booths except for Caleb and Meredith. The team's symbol appears on the screen.

Kylie is doing some cheerleading routines while Hilda is preparing her voice to sing by drinking a bit of water from a water bottle in her left hand.

Axel, Garry, and Tamera are sitting on beach chairs.

"You think we have this challenge in the bag?" Garry asked the vixen.

"No," Tamera bluntly answered. "I'm not performing so I have little faith we can win. Though, seeing their reactions at failing will be amusing."

"I guess that can be fun," Garry shrugged unsurely.

"Ugh, why am I even talking to someone boring like you?" Tamera spoke rudely. When she does not get a response from Garry, she taps her right foot. "Hello, answer?" No reply. She grabs her teammate by his white shirt. "Don't you ignore me."

Even though his eyes are not shown because of his black hair covering them, Garry is certainly winking at the camera provided by a smile.

Axel is not even paying attention to his teammates. He is in his mind, feeling conflicted.

Confessional – Axel – Sleek Slushies

"Ever since I saw Melissa's actions in that volleyball challenge, I've been thinking a lot lately. I want Tamera and Caleb gone but continuing to be frustrated with them not being gone is going to be affecting me in the long run. Don't get me wrong. I definitely want those two voted out, but I can't be twenty-four-seven thinking about them. They can use me without realizing it."

End Confessional

JJ, Fenton, and Elsa from the Fried Freaks are outside the laser tag arena. Their team's symbol appears on the screen. Only Elsa and JJ are currently practicing their act.

The silent clown is juggling three bowling pins in the air while riding on a unicycle. The gamer is sitting on a wooden chair playing a videogame from the NES. She has a controller connected to the console and a cable plug from the console to a flat television screen. It is not shown what game she is playing, but she is really focusing.

Fenton watches the two with a slight frown. He is wondering what is taking Boris and Melissa so long.

"Time to relax my eyes for ten minutes again," Elsa declared as she stands up from the wooden chair and she puts the controller on the ground. She walks to Fenton to start a conversation. "They still haven't come back?"

"I'm starting to think Chef might have them hostage," Fenton hypothesized. "Maybe I should check upon them. Just to be on the safe side."

He turns around to walk to find the mess hall, but Elsa grabs his right shoulder with her right hand to prevent him from leaving.

"Relax, those two can take care of themselves," Elsa assured as she lets go of her teammate's shoulder.

Fenton turns around to look at the gamer girl. "Boris can take care of himself?" This might sound like an insult, but the boy is being genuine about his question.

Elsa snorts before responding. "Chill dude, both are fine. Especially Melissa since she only cares about winning."

"That's not true. She cares about me and JJ," Fenton defended his team leader.

"Oh right, I forgot you were the first out of the volleyball challenge," Elsa remembered. "Didn't you watch her performance?"

"I was enjoying myself in the pool," Fenton spoke sincerely.

"So, you didn't see her spike the volleyball at Sua's face?" Elsa asked.

"Wait? What?" Fenton spoke flabbergasted. "Stop making stuff up."

"JJ!" Elsa called. A clown horn is heard as the camera pans to the mute girl. "Get over here."

JJ arrives to meet her teammates while still juggling the bowling bins and riding the unicycle.

"Is it true that Melissa spiked the volleyball on Sua's head in the volleyball challenge?" Elsa asked, knowing the clown is a witness.

JJ nods her head as she continues performing. To make her point, she stops juggling the bowling pins and keeps them in her hands. Then she uses one of them to smack her head to emphasize Elsa's point. This causes her to fall out of the unicycle.

"There," Elsa told Fenton. "I have my witness."

"I don't want to sound rude Elsa, but it feels like you just want Melissa out," Fenton told, keeping a strong smile. "Once I talk to her, she'll tell the truth."

JJ stands up from the ground and passes a piece of paper to Fenton. The short boy reads what is on the paper. "She did what!?"

Confessional – Elsa – Fried Freaks

"Wow, convincing Fenton to go against Melissa is going to be harder than I thought. Hopefully, that girl doesn't lie about what she did."

End Confessional

Melissa and Boris arrive at their team's location, both of them carrying the large steel pot.

Elsa, JJ, and Fenton can smell the stench coming from the large pot. The gamer and sidekick cover their nose.

"Is the dirt so bad that you both had to carry it?" Elsa asked.

"Nope, we couldn't agree on who should take it. So, we decided to take it together," Melissa answered, a mix of happiness and annoyance in her voice. "We also got extra."

She takes away her hands from holding the pot. The pot drops onto Boris's right foot then to the ground revealing smaller pots that were inside the large one.

"Ow," Boris exclaimed in pain.

"Did that really hurt?" Elsa asked curiously.

"Actually no," Boris admitted, looking at his right foot. "Is just, have you ever had that feeling when something drops on your foot that doesn't hurt, and yet you want to say ouch?"

"That's probably the only relatable thing you have said since we got into teams," Melissa retorted.

Fenton puts a clothespin on his nose to get closer to the pots. "Why are there multiple pots?"

Melissa and Boris immediately realize that their teammate will not be able to decide what pot to clean first during the challenge. With quick thinking, the athletic nerd gives instructions.

"The small dirty pots are for you to practice and the large one is for you to clean it at the talent show," Melissa coached.

"I could have thought of that," Boris mumbled quietly.

"Well, time for the practice run," Fenton said as he puts on yellow gloves.

Back at the camp like amphitheater, Sua is practicing her dance choreography on stage with her eyes closed as Maverick watches.

"Are you sure is okay to rehearse with your eyes closed?" Maverick asked with concern.

"I'm aware of my surroundings Maverick don't worry," Sua kindly answered. She leaps her left, close to the end of the stage, and moves her left arm around. Her elbow accidentally breaks a small piece of wood. Now, this would not be an issue with that wood having a rope tied to it and that rope was holding a stage light on the ceiling.

Noticing a situation coming along, Maverick runs onto the stage. The stage light is about to fall onto Sua until the promoter gets behind and grabs it with his hands. Thank goodness he is taller than her.

Sua continues with her dance routine with her eyes closed, unaware of what could have happened to her.

"This isn't good," Maverick told the audience. Looks like he has to keep his teammate from injuring herself.

As the promoter keeps the idol away from harm, Buford and Meredith are at the water attraction. Each is wearing their swimsuit as they enter the small pool. They decide to stick to the edge to have their arms on the cement floor level.

"What made you sign up for the show?" Meredith asked.

"For the five million dollars," Buford plainly answered as the two looked at the clouds in the sky.

Meredith giggles. "I guess the answer should be obvious."

"What about you?" Was Buford's turn to ask.

The historian looks at her reflection in the pool's water. "Just didn't want to be alone. Not many people where I'm from enjoy history. Most of them want to erase it from their memories. Except for that one guy that wants to repeat them for some weird reason."

"Well, you came to the right guy to keep you company," Buford said as he slowly puts his left arm around Meredith's upper body.

At first, it felt weird he did that, but the historian feels safe around him, so the weirdness quickly faded as she begins to blush.

"Remember when you said you want to get in a relationship with me at the hut earlier?" Meredith reminded.

Buford hums as he keeps gazing at clouds.

"Maybe we can make this work. Kylie won't spill the beans. We just have to worry about Caleb," The historian accepted.

"We can figure out what to do with him later," Buford said. "For now…"

The two gaze into each other's eyes. They can feel the vibrations of wanting to kiss, but Buford waits patiently for the blonde to make her move. If it gets awkward, oh well. She is just not ready. That does not happen though. Meredith closes her eyes and opens her mouth slowly. Buford does the same and the two begin to make out.

"How nice," Chris told Chef as both are shown inside the security room. "We haven't had a couple form this early since Leon and Ashley."

"About time too," Chef added.

Chris pauses the video with a remote. "Did I see some tongue?"

It is night as everyone is now at the amphitheater. The nine performers are behind the stage with their equipment waiting to be called. The four judges which are Chris, Chef, Sami, and Noah are at the table sitting on chairs. The rest of the contestants are at the left side bleacher. All team symbols appear on the screen.

"Welcome everyone to tonight's talent challenge!" Chris announced excitedly.

"Chris, we're behind you," Fenton told the host.

"I'm talking to our wide audience dude," Chris said, not looking back. "We have nine performers to get on stage tonight. Will either one get a thumbs up by every judge?"

"No," Noah dryly said. The host ignores him.

"Since the Power Poppers won the last challenge, they get to bring out someone from the team first," Chris declared.

At backstage, the female Poppers look at each other to see who volunteers first.

"I'll go," Lilith told the two. "Got to give them a good impression. Just bring the drums onto the stage."

Confessional – Lisa – Sleek Slushies

She crosses her arms before speaking. "She said it as if Sua and I wouldn't have done a great job. I don't know if she was being rude or not, but I know I would have done better with my act first."

End Confessional

Lisa and Sua do as told without complaint and set up the drums on stage. Miraculously, the Korean idol did not break anything along the way. The two girls then proceed to head backstage again.

Lilith sits on the stool and has a drumstick in each hand. "Helloooooooo Total Drama fans! I'm Lilith, performing you a wicked drum solo!" The goth exclaimed to get everybody excited. She taps both drumsticks together three times to start.

She starts off banging her drumsticks on the rack-mounted toms, making sure not to hit on the same spot to create different sounds. She then strikes the crash cymbal with the drumstick in her left hand. Then she strikes the hi-hat cymbal with the drumstick in her right hand. She does this in a pattern three times then proceeds to strike both at once. After waiting for the sounds to disappear, she uses both drumsticks on the mounted tom on her left.

Then proceeds to drum her way to the right-mounted tom. She taps on the pedal with her left foot so the bass drum can make a sound. Next is using a drumstick on the floor time and left mounted tom at the same time. Now she kicks it into high gear by playing all drums while hitting the crash cymbal after every fourth beat then the hi-hat symbol after another four beats. She continues this routine for a few seconds before just tapping on the drums again.

She ends the solo by hitting both cymbals three times.

All the contestants' applause for her act. Yes, even Boris. Though Maverick looks perplexed.

"That did not have any rhythm of Total Drama theme song whatsoever," Maverick told the guys of his team. Did he not tell her to play the theme?

"Kind of defeating the purpose of you leading the team if she's not going to listen to you," Jett told the promoter to get on his good side.

The judges clap as well but slower pace.

"Wicked drum moves Lilith," Chris complimented the drummer. "But I have to give you a thumbs down. I found the solo too short."

"He wouldn't complain if she just did the theme song," Maverick told himself as he crosses his arms.

Buford and Jett can feel the disappointment in his voice.

Chef gives a thumbs up to Lilith. "You rocked those drums good, nice job."

Sami also gives a thumbs up. "It feels like you went with what you love to do, and it captures perfectly in that solo."

Noah gives a thumbs down. "I don't like drums. Next!"

Confessional – Lilith – Power Poppers

She does not look that content. "Of course Chris picked Noah to be a judge. He practically doesn't care almost about anything. Though, I will admit I should have done the solo longer. Hope my bandmates are not disappointed in my act."

End Confessional

The drum set is now out of the stage. Elsa is next to do her act. JJ puts the flat TV screen from earlier and places it on the stage. Fenton puts the NES on the ground and connects a controller to and a cable for the console to the TV. JJ turns it on and the two head backstage.

The flat television screen shows the menu screen of a game called Super Plumber Bros. Elsa looks at the audience and judges.

"Today I'll be demonstrating a videogame speed run in less than five minutes," Elsa explained. She turns around and sits on the stage so everyone can see the screen. Once having the controller in her grasp, she starts the game, quickly making perfectly time jumps as she controls the chubby character on screen.

"For any speed run, you have to be precise on what you do. For example, in this game I have to time my character's jumps in a way to get the fastest completion possible," Elsa explained as she continues to play.

She has already passed the first level.

"The second level is a bit trickier," Elsa stated as she controls her character to make jumps, dodging mushrooms, turtle, and Venus flytraps. "At the beginning of the level the jumps are tight, and you want to make sure not to get touch a flytrap when jumping on some pipes. There's also a glitch where if you time it correctly you can go through the last pipe and wall to discover three secret pipes. Pick the one to the left to advance into world four."

She does the glitch and enters the pipe she spoke about.

"Alright, I'm bored next," Chris declared.

"What!?" Elsa exclaimed. A mix of anger and confusion in her. She continues to play her game.

"Thumbs down from me. Getting bored," Chris repeated.

"This ain't no snooze fest Dory the explorer," Chef insulted, giving a thumbs down.

Elsa pauses the game and turns around to see the judges. "Seriously? At least wait until I'm done. It only takes almost five minutes."

"And that's too many minutes wasting my time," Noah retorted as he gives a thumbs down.

Elsa stands up and huffs. She takes the TV, console, and controller with her.

"I thought it was a great demonstration," Sami said and gives a thumbs up.

"That could have gone better," Boris told Melissa, both being at the bleacher.

"Stop making me agree with you," Melissa told the rich kid.

Kylie enters the stage by doing a front flip. She is holding red pom poms

"Hello beautiful people," She greeted, giggles then gave a wink. "Ready for a cheer, okay!"

She does a double skip with her left leg then her right leg while moving her hands in a circular motion. "What show has the coolest host?"

Then she does a single skip with her left leg while raising her right arm and slighting tilting her head. She does the same routine but with her right leg and left arm.

"Total Drama!"

She steps out with her right foot then goes up and down with her arms, landing in a plea. "Teens looking so fly?"

She goes for a bow and arrows, which is extending her right arm and keeping her left arm close to her chest. Then she inverses the bow and arrow.

"Total Drama!"

She gets on her toes and bends her knees a bit to make a spin. Then she lifts her right leg like a kick while raising her right hand.

"Drama every episode?"

She lowers her right hand and raises her left and lowers once she crouches on one knee, facing her left.

"You guess it."

She puts herself back onto a straight stand position.

"Total Drama!" Kylie shouted cheerfully as she jumps to do a hurdler and perfect has her feet touch the ground again.

The judges give a round of applause.

"Love that spirit Kylie," Chris appreciated and gives a thumbs up.

"Me too, you're definitely good at what you do," Sami and complimented and gives a thumbs up.

"Not bad kid," Chef simply said and gives a thumbs up.

"Would have been better if you rhymed your words instead of just repeating this show's name," Noah spoke and gives a thumbs down.

Kylie gives a sad look but realizes the bookworm never said anything about her cheer being bad. She takes her performance with pride and gracefully heads backstage.

At the bleachers, Maverick sighs.

"They almost got the win," Jett commented.

"I know dude," The promoter knew and lets out a sigh.

Sua arrives on stage with a rectangular shape boombox. She presses the start button from the boombox and gets in position to dance. This time she does not close her eyes. She turns around having her back behind everyone. She is also holding her hands behind her back.

Her team was expecting a World Tour song to perform. Instead, it is a song in Korean, furthering Maverick to be irritated.

She turns around to her left slightly while spreading her legs a bit and gives a forty-five-degree angle salute with her left arm. Then the idol quickly bends down to have her left hand touching her right knee as her right hand is close to her face. She raises her body to then stand with legs creating a V upside down. She taps her tights with her hands three times before getting close to the judges and moves her arms in the air left to right. She is performing mantis swipes as her arms move.

She bends her knees a bit again as she demonstrates hands as if she is telling the people to stop. Sua then forms an X with her arms and crosses them, slowly sliding to her right. She stops crossing them and moves her hips and chest like gelatin and gives off a kick with her right leg like a horse.

This turns out to be bad as she kicks the boombox out of the stage. The boombox breaks into two and stops playing the song.

"That's probably the best part of your performance," Noah retorted.

Sua looks at the judges, hoping they like her short dance.

"You got impressive moves Sua," Chris complimented. "But it was hard to follow you when I couldn't understand the lyrics. But since I'm trying to keep our international audience. I'll give a thumbs up."

"Despite being short, you manage to wow with your dance skills," Sami acknowledged and gives the idol a thumbs up.

"That's what happens when you don't look," Chef told Sua, "You need to be more aware of your surroundings girl. Thumbs down for me."

"Yeah, I would have liked you finishing your dance," Noah agreed with the cook and gives a thumbs down. "Even with the broken boombox destroyed you could have kept going."

Sua is having a hard time processing everything. One out of four? How can she make such a stupid mistake? She should have listened to Maverick.

"Thank you so much for your feedback," Sua said, gritting her teeth. Both her eyes twitch but remains calm. She heads backstage.

She is still trying to calm herself as Caleb and Hilda are shown.

"Looks like I'm next," Hilda told her teammate. "Wish me luck."

"Wait Hilda," Caleb called. He is shown holding a glass of water. "Have to keep your mouth hydrated."

Hilda takes the glass and drinks a bit. She then gives it back to Caleb. "Thanks!"

The handsome genius watches her head to the main stage with a smile.

"You all know me as Hilda, and I will be performing a small opera song in French," Hilda spoke. She clears her throat.

"J'appelle à chercher dans ma nuit la plus sombre,

Demander des conseils sur ce qui est juste,

Je sais que la tempête prend de l'ampleur,

Et il n'y a presque pas de lumière,

Mais donnez-moi de la force

Donnez-moi la paix

Donnez-moi la sagesse d'échapper à ce ruisseau,

Pour que je puisse aller de l'avant avec mon objectiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"

She continues to use the 'I' on a high note, impressing everyone who is watching and hearing her. She does her high note so spectacular that the glass of water Caleb is holding breaks.

"Shit," Caleb cursed as some glass stuck to his hands.

Hilda continues her singing as a scene emerges showing a girl watching her act through a TV. She is inside an apartment that is all pained it white.

The lady is wearing a light blue strapless neckline with a classical alluring blue dress. The dress is adorned with pleats and her slim waist is embellished with a white belt and blue bowknot. She also has blue and white stripe pattern flat shoes on her feet. Her black hair is tied with a blue ribbon in the form of a ponytail. She has a round face with an hourglass body. Lastly, she has brown eyes. This is Ashley, a contestant that participated in Total Drama Crowstillo Island.

"I should have gotten the chance to sing," Ashley said bitterly.

Going back to the show, Hilda finishes her note slowly and ends with an 'F'.

Every camper stands up and applauds Hilda's performance. JJ looks a bit sad but still cheers on.

"So that's why she is called the opera singer," Noah said, having heard her beautiful voice.

Chris and Chef are shown crying. Sami passes a handkerchief to both hosts. Each of them blows their nose on it and passes back to the theater girl.

Sami touches the parts where there is no snot with two fingers and puts the handkerchiefs on the table.

"That was amazing Hilda," Chris said and gives a thumbs up.

"Is enough to make a grown man cry," Chef added and gives a thumbs up.

Sami and Noah do not say anything. They both give a thumbs up.

"Hilda has received four thumbs up. Which means the Sleek Slushies win tonight's challenge!" Chris announced.

The Sleek Slushies cheer for the opera singer.

Confessional – Sua – Power Poppers

"Unbelievable!" She exclaimed with rage. "She sang in French, which is fine, but they told me they didn't like my act because I put a song in Korean."

Her rage gets stronger until she suddenly freezes up. All of a sudden she snaps and looks at the camera with a calm but ominous look. "Oh well, no harm done."

End Confessional

Fenton is on stage as JJ puts the large steel pot next to him. For his team to get the second place he has to get all judges to give a thumbs up.

"I knew I was missing one," Chef said out loud. "You better have a reason for taking that."

JJ hugs Fenton for good luck before heading backstage.

Fenton looks at the cook with confidence. "I do have a reason." He shows a bucket full of cleaning supplies. The bucket contains a stainless-steel cleaner, scrubbing sponges, microfiber cloths, baking soda, white vinegar, and warm water mixed with dishwashing soap.

In just a matter of seconds, he can clean the entire pot. It sparkles brightly. Chef gets onto the stage to check on the pot. He can even see his reflection on it.

"Not even a speck," Chef commented before returning to his seat. "Good job short stuff." He gives a thumbs up.

"If you can clean all that junk in under a minute then you definitely deserve this," Chris said and gives a thumbs up.

"Everyone is talented in their own way," Sami spoke joyfully. She gives a thumbs up.

Fenton's smile grows big, hoping Noah gives him the thumbs up.

"Oh wow cleaning a pot in a few seconds how impressive," Noah sarcastically said. He gives a thumbs down. "Do a better job coming up with something more interesting."

Fenton still smiles as he heads backstage. He has his team in the lead. He hopes Lisa will not get four thumbs' ups. JJ is the trump card.

Speaking of the poet, she comes out from backstage wearing a red jacket, complete with gold buttons and a hook and loop neck closure. The shoulder and collar accents are black satin that matches the jersey pants and vinyl belt. She is also wearing brown boots.

She does a salute to which the judges salute back.

"Did you make that outfit for her?" Maverick asked Jett.

"It was a combination of us both using the fabric, glue, and clothes we found," Jett explained.

"Surprise you can actually design with what you wear," Buford insulted.

Jett glares at him.

Lisa recites her poem.

"Beaver, tail pounding,

Building dam with wood near water.

Making home forever."

She pauses to recite her second haiku.

"Pine, sugar maple,

Sap flows down Canada's roads,

Its trees running free."

She finishes off with a limerick.

"Baker making a tart,

Adding butter to fill the part,

A moose arrives outside the store,

Whiffing the tasty smell in its core,

It pays money for the tart because it is smart."

She stops saluting and the judges give a nice round of claps.

"Nice job paying homage to Canada. The beaver moose, trees, and butter tart," Chris applaud the poet. "I'm not into poetry but I appreciate the love for Canada." He gives a thumbs up.

"Same for me, have to respect you bringing us up," Chef said with a salute and gives a thumbs up.

"I wasn't going to give you a thumbs up but the poem about the moose paying money to get the butter tart made me chuckle inside," Noah admitted. He gives a thumbs up.

Sami gives a thumb down, surprising the other judges. "Sorry Lisa, but I wasn't feeling the poems."

"Pfft, it's because you're not Canadian," Noah retorted.

"Is not because of that. Is mostly the first two poems that don't rhyme," Sami explained.

"Haikus don't necessarily need to rhyme," Lisa pointed out.

"Well, I'm sorry if this sounds rude but I didn't like them," Sami said, staying with her decision.

Lisa sighs in defeat. "Fine, have fun being disliked by Canadians now." She leaves the stage to sit next to Jett.

"Well, to win JJ needs a full four set of thumbs ups," Chris announced. "Can she do it? Find out after the commercial break."

Chef whispers into the host's left ear.

"Wait, commercials are now at the beginning and end?" Chris asked confused. "What kind of weird television channel does that?"

Chef shrugs.

"Whatever, JJ come on stage," Chris told the silent clown.

JJ does as she is told. Circus music is heard in the background. At the bleachers, Meredith immediately turns her head away to not look at her.

JJ takes three balloons out of her wig and holds them with her left hand. She then takes out a large toothpick from her wig with her right hand. She moves the toothpick like a magic wand for the judges and contestants to look at it. The young girl makes sure to keep eye contact with everyone while keeping her huge smile.

JJ then aims to pop one of the balloons and sees everyone embracing the popping sound that will happen. However, she stops herself from doing so, confusing everyone. That is her trick. Letting their guard down. She pops one balloon with her toothpick surprising many. Some like Kylie, Fenton, and Maverick chuckle after being scared.

The balloon that popped drops an item onto the ground. It is an electric taser. JJ seems not to realize that was there inside the popped balloon. She pops another and water comes out of it. The liquid hits the taser and an electric current electrocutes the clown.

Chris laughs out loud, causing the other judges to look at him strangely.

JJ continues her act with the third balloon popping due to the electric shock, revealing a cupcake. She takes the cup with both her hands and gives a frown, sad that its frosting got onto the stage floor. The cupcake then explodes for some reason. The clown's face is covered in ash, so she takes a towel out of her wig and rubs the ash off her.

This takes out all of her make-up. She shows the towel now having the make-up and her looking astonished without it, getting various laughs from the audience. Lastly, she puts the towel on her to pretend she has her make-up back to get another stock of laughs. She ends her act with a bow. JJ gets a round of applause.

"I keep forgetting she's a human under that make-up," Meredith commentated, looking when JJ took her makeup off.

"JJ, nice clown act," Chris complimented. "Gave me a nice laugh." He gives a thumbs up.

"I loved everything that you did. The suspense and impact really sealed the deal," Sami gave her thoughts. She also gives a thumbs up.

Chef gives a thumbs up as well. "Nice job having that cupcake blow up in your face."

JJ takes the towel she used out of her head to look at Noah. Everyone wants to know what the bookworm will do.

"Ugh, can I leave once I give her a thumbs up?" Noah asked the host.

Chris gives no response. Just a glare.

"That's all I need to hear," Noah said rhetorically with a smirk and gives a thumbs up.

"And just like that JJ steals the show," Chris declared. "Fried Freaks get second once again."

JJ's team gets up on stage and congratulates her.

The host looks over at the Power Poppers who are sitting at the bleacher. "Power Poppers, each act was great, but it wasn't enough to get the judges thriving. One of you will be gone from this carnival tonight. See you six at the ceremony."

Confessionals – Maverick – Power Poppers

"What the heck was that?" The promoter said baffled by what he saw. "Why did all girls on my team ditch my idea? It was going to get us the win. There's going to be team talk about this."

End Confessionals

The Sleek Slushies enter the gold tent with happiness. Their team's symbol appears on the screen.

"Back in first place, let's go!" Garry said excitedly as he happily stuffs a muffin he found on a table.

"Congrats on doing a spectacular performance," Axel thanked Hilda.

Hilda smiles at him. "Thanks Axel." She then looks at Caleb. "And thank you Caleb for giving me the water to make sure my voice doesn't strain when singing."

"What are teammates for?" Caleb said then chuckles.

"Would have loved your puppet performance," Kylie admitted.

"Me too, it could have been funny," Meredith agreed.

"Well, guess we will never find out," Caleb said happily.

"You can always show us the act when we're not in a challenge," Tamera proposed smugly.

Caleb narrows his eyes at her.

Confessional – Caleb – Sleek Slushies

"I'm going to hold off on who didn't vote for Tamera a bit more. Right now, I want to celebrate being back in first place and getting a sweet massage. Speaking of that bitch, she needs to be careful of the words coming out of her mouth towards me. She knows about what happened to Marty, but I'm cool with every single member on the team except for Axel. So yeah, be careful what you say Tamera."

End Confessional

The Fried Freaks are at the entrance to the arcade center. Elsa and Boris head inside the place while the other three stay at the stair area. Their team's symbol appears on the screen.

"Maverick told us he wanted the brown tent to do a team meeting," Melissa said to let the audience know why the team is there. "Whatever they are discussing, it probably not good."

"Speaking of what's not good, why did you inflict pain on the Power Poppers?" Fenton sincerely asked kindly. "Do you have something against them?"

"Huh?" Melissa wondered perplexed. "What are you talking about?

"You hurt Sua and Maverick in the volleyball challenge. I also believe another one was Axel, right?" Fenton asked JJ for confirmation who honks her red nose, answering yes.

Melissa remembers and instantly regrets her actions. "Sorry, I get really competitive at times. Especially in sports. So when Chris announced the challenge and you got out first I was very determined. It's a bad habit of mine. It's why I'm only on the track team at my high school because I don't have any balls to shove them…"

"Language," Fenton told the athletic nerd.

"I was going to say in their face," Melissa said, feeling a bit embarrassed. "But yeah, sorry for getting that way."

"You don't need to apologize to me. What you need to do is apologize to those you hurt," Fenton politely advised.

Melissa sighs. "You're right. I'll apologize to them another day."

JJ gives a balloon toy giraffe to the athletic nerd to make her smile. It works like a charm.

"Tell you what Melissa, I'll help you get over your competitive nature," Fenton offered.

"Really? That's going to take a lot of effort," Melissa warned him. "I mean, I'm no hockey player but helping me overcome my competitiveness might not be a good idea."

"That's why you need help," Fenton assured confidently. "And I like to help."

Melissa smirks. "Alright, then I'll help you make a decision for once."

"Come again?" Fenton nervously asked.

Confessional – JJ – Fried Freaks

Subtitles are around her knees as she uses sign language.

"This might not be a good idea."

End Confessional

Inside the brown tent, the Power Poppers are sitting at one of the tables for discussion. Boys on the left and girls on the right from the angle the camera is showing them. The team symbol appears on the screen.

"Why did you three not do what I told?" Maverick asked the girls, wanting a reason before trying to get upset.

"We wanted to show our talents," Lisa explained.

"You were, but it had to be a total drama theme," Maverick spoke. "Did I not make myself clear?"

"Maverick you did but we didn't want to have it be a total drama theme," Lilith told the promoter gently.

"And that's why we lost," Buford added to the conversation. "Seriously, none of you can follow simple instructions. Thought you three were at least smarter than a fifth-grader."

"Hey, we three did way better than you ever could up there," Lisa snarked.

"Pretty sure I will stick to the total drama theme to give us an easy win," Buford told the poet.

Jett keeps quiet to figure out which side he should pick.

"Kylie almost won in an instant if it wasn't for Noah," Maverick told the female Poppers, starting to rile up. "You know why? Because she put Total Drama in her cheerleading routine."

"Noah was being a scumbag," Lilith said, starting to get annoyed.

"Sounds like someone on this team," Buford mentioned and eyes Jett.

"Wow dude," Jett said, not seeming to care.

"Next time just listen to what I say, okay?" Maverick told Lisa, Lilith, and Sua. "I'm the leader in this team."

"So was Gabriel," Sua pointed out.

"And look where that got him," Buford added.

Lilith glares at Bo. "Do you have to put your opinion on everything?"

"Yes, Ms. I ask unnecessary questions I do," Buford insulted. "Just admitted you and the others failed today."

"I got the most thumbs up," Lisa defended deadpanned.

"And yet if it was a total drama theme Sami would have given a thumbs up," Buford countered. "Just saying, next time don't screw up simple instructions that even a five-year-old can understand."

All girls glare at Bo while Jett smirks and Maverick keeps a neutral expression.

Calamity Ceremony

It is night, and the Power Poppers arrive. The girls are in the top row and the boys are in the bottom row of the two-level bleacher.

From left to right for the girls are Lilith, Sua, and Lisa. From right to left for the boys are Buford, Jett, and Maverick.

Chris and Chef are standing next to two lamp posts illuminating them. Chef is holding a plate with five popcorn bags on it.

"Power Poppers, so much for trying to go back into a winning streak," Chris said to the team then gives a smug look. "Wonder who's to blame for that?"

All teammates narrow their eyes at each other.

Chris sighs happily. "I love my job. Anyway, you six know the drill. Whoever does not get a popcorn bag must head to the lame-o-sine escorted by Chef and leave the carnival. The following players are safe…"

"Maverick"

Chef tosses a popcorn bag to the promoter who catches it.

"Sua and Lisa"

Both girls catch their popcorn.

"Lilith"

The gothic drummer happily catches her popcorn. She looks at Buford with a proud smirk.

Buford and Jett look at the final popcorn bag, both having confidence that one of them will not be going home.

"Buford and Jett, this is the last popcorn bag," Chris told the two guys.

"We have eyes you know," Jett rudely said.

Chris is not amused and takes the last popcorn bag in his right hand. "The final bag goes too…"

"Jett"

The runaway happily catches the last bag.

"Buford should have kept your mouth shut," Chris told. "Lame-o-sine is that way."

Bo stands up, still looking and feeling confident. "Yeah I know, but that's not the way I'm heading."

He takes something out of the left pocket of his black shorts. The Chris McLean invincibility statue.

All of his teammates gasp.

"What? How?" Jett exclaimed as he stands up. "I told you I didn't find it."

"Find it?" Sua wondered with confusion.

"Wasn't that in the Bargaby Hut this whole time?" Lilith pondered.

"There's no way you were able to purchase it," Lisa told Buford. "Maverick practically spent all our tickets in the water slide challenge."

Buford ignores everyone except for Jett because he wants to answer his question. "I figured you were lying. Besides you're the only person that I know that will have the balls to steal this. Also, in your sleeping bag? Seriously, dude, you made the hiding spot too obvious."

"To answer the ladies, Jett stole the idol," Chris responded.

"That means the idol being played now doesn't count, right?" Lisa asked the host, hoping for a yes.

"Yes, but no," Chris answered. He walks up to Jett and Buford. "I never said you must purchase the item to use the idol's effect. It was just for you all not to find it around the carnival since you kids find them easily. Like Violette did in Back to the Islands. In short, I'm counting it."

"Does that mean someone else gets eliminated?" Maverick pondered.

"That's right and that person is you," Chris pointed to Jett. "You received the second most votes. Which means you're officially out of the game."

"What!?" Jett exclaimed.

"Noooooooooooooooo!" Lisa cried as she raises her head.

"You voted for me!?" Jett asked Buford for confirmation. "Why not Lilith or Sua?"

"Because you're a shifty dude. Making deals with you is fun, but I'm not sticking with someone who can't trust me," Buford explained. "We've been here for more than a week. You know I brutally speak what's on my mind almost twenty-four seven. This blame is on you."

The word trust sinks into Jett's mind and heart. He did not trust Gabriel for who the politician truly was and could not trust Buford here. This is all on him. He clenches his fist with fury. How can he mess up so badly?

"Before you go, can you tell me who you stole it from? Since it's obvious you took it from someone," Buford told the runaway.

Jett immediately flips Bo off. "Figure that on your own." He looks at Chef. "Get me out of this dump."

Before the two can walk away Lisa hurries to Jett and hugs him tightly.

"Jett, I like you," Lisa confessed. "I really do. I like how cunning, smart, cynical, and hot you are. I never imagine this happening so quickly."

She hugs him tighter.

"Let go of me," Jett said, trying to push the poet away from him. He is successful and the two make eye contact.

"Jett, do you like me?" Lisa asked slowly.

Jett breathes in and out. Elimination? Trust? Love? Crush? Run? So many things he is thinking right now that it is giving him a headache.

"Yes, no, maybe, gah!" Jett exclaimed as his headache increased. "I don't know!"

He runs away from the ceremony, unable to give a confirmation.

"Chef, we got a runner," Chris exclaimed. The cook runs after Jett.

"Jett, Jett!" Lisa called but her crush does not come back. She puts her knees on the ground and covers her face with her hands.

"Wow, that got emotional all of sudden," Chris admitted. He looks at the remaining Power Poppers. "You five better figure out your team issues to not come back here again."

Maverick, Lilith, and Sua leave the ceremony. All three have mixed feelings about what happened. Buford gives the idol to Chris and leaves. The host decides to end the episode while Lisa continues to sob on the ground.

"How will Lisa fare without her lover boy Jett? Can Buford and Lilith keep annoying their teammates? How will Maverick lead the Power Poppers now? What will be of the Sleek Slushies and Fried Freaks? Find out next time on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"

The bonus clip starts with Chef throwing Jett inside the lame-o-sine. Luckily the door was open for him to get inside. Rosalina the limo driver makes sure to lock the doors. Jett starts banging on the glass.

"Let me out!" Jett exclaimed from inside the vehicle.

Chef approaches. "We're not having another person running away like in World Tour." He walks to the driver's door to talk with Rosalina. The limo driver opens the window to her side. "Make sure you tell everyone to keep him locked in the aftermath studio."

Rosalina nods and closes the window. She then drives away from the carnival.

"Did he say aftermath studio?" Jett panicked, now the cameras showing the two people inside the vehicle.

"Yep, and I have no doubt you're getting quite the interview, Jett. If that's your real name," Rosaline stated.

Jett gulps. Why did this season need to have aftermath?

Author's Note: This might be a surprise to some of you, but I planned Jett to always be a minor antagonist in this story. Like Marty, he was supposed to make a bit far losing by the same results but was sped up because of the constant change of plots. Jett has a lot of issues. Trust is a big caliber. In a game like Total Drama, it is true you cannot trust anybody, but you have to create some bondage with people before sending them packing. Jett never bonded with anyone besides Lisa, and he got too caught up in trying to save himself he could not see what was going on right in front of him. I will say that he will be fun to write in the aftermaths.

As for why Buford did not vote for Lilith or Sua? He said it already. Jett is too shifty to keep in the long run. Though Bo will have a difficult time being on Power Poppers after what happened.

Also, I am bad at keeping immunity idols for so long. Those who read Back to the Islands will understand.

Anyway, I will post the lyrics of what Hilda sang under the note. Leave a review or PM what are your thoughts on this chapter.

I call to seek in my darkest night,

To seek guidance on what is right,

I know the storm is growing big,

And there's barely any light,

But give me strength

Give me peace

Give me wisdom to escape this creek,

So that I can proceed on my goal!

And now I grow!
