"In the belly! In the belly!" Chantwed Wendy's friends as they tried throwing jelly beans at their friend's bellybutton.

Mabel completely ignored that as she, her twin and Wendy approached the group. She had bigger problems.

Like how her brother currently hated her over her hiding biggest secret. No biggie! She could totally handle this.

"I can't do this." Mabel whispered to herself in a panic as she stared at Dipper. "I can try and wait and hop he'd forgive me later or I can rip the band-aid off quickly and hope he'd forgive me later... again?!"

Dipper noticed his this gaze and muttering and felt guilty for what he told his sister. He, however, pushed the feeling down as he was about to meet Wendy's friends.

The moment Wendy's friends saw her, they began chanting her name cheerfully.

"Hey guys! These are my pals from work, Mabel and Dipper." Said Wendy calmly with a smile.

Mabel didn't hear her name being called in her internal panic and muttering and as such, all was left was awkward silence causing Dipper to rise up and cut in.

"She's just not, uhh, focused right now. Unlike this guy!...this guy..."

"So are you, like, babysitting, or-" asked Robbie, one of Wendy's friends, after seeing Dipper and Mabel as he tried poke Mabel's head.

As she felt the touch of a stranger on her head, Mabel instinctively grabbed Robbie's hand and twisted it, causing the teen to yell in pain.

Mabel quickly noticed she was hurting someone and let go of Robbie.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Apologized Mabel calmly which sounded slightly condescending.

Before Robbie could complain about what Mabel did, Wendy's other friends swarmed her.

"Dude! That was awesome! How'd you do that?" Asked Nate, another one of Wendy's friends.

"Huh? I just do it, I guess?" Replied Mabel with a shrug, not in the mindset to properly reply.

A moment of silence descended upon the area before the whole gang spoke praise about Mabel, leading Mabel to shrug and Dipper to frown.

After some introductions and Dipper accidentally messing with Robbie, everyone entered Thompson's car and headed out for some fun.

"Huh, I thought there'd be more half chewed gum. It's surprisingly not that bad." Said Mabel as she sat in the back of the car with her twin.

"Mabel, can you not start this whole thing right now?" Said Dipper with a deep frown.

"The whole what?" Asked Mabel in confusion.

"The whole cleanliness obsession." Dipper elaborated.

Mabel was even more confused than before until she connected the dot, or at least thought so. "Is this because of that secret?"

"Yes." Lied Dipper crossing his arms.

Mabel went silent for a few seconds. She was unable to handle Dipper hating her. So, in a moment of weakness, she made her decision.

"I'll tell you." She said dejectedly. "Just...when we're alone."

Dipper froze at how easily Mabel gave up and quickly began feeling guilty, even more so when he saw the sad expression on her face.

Before he could say anything, however, the car stopped as they made it to their destination.

Everyone got out of the car to see an abandoned convenience store.

"There it is, fellas. The condemned Dusk 2 Dawn." Said Wendy cheerfully.

"Ha! Cool!" Said Lee and Nate.

"Y-yeah." Added Mabel absentmindedly as she stared at the building, memories of the future flooding her mind.

"Why'd they shut it down, was it like a health code violation, or...?" asked Dipper before Nate spoke.

"Try murder!" Exclaimed Nate.

"Some folks died in there, the place has been haunted ever since!" Added Lee.

Mabel went silent as she thought of what they would face inside. Two ghosts who they couldn't hurt. All she could do was go with the flow.

She approached the fence and climbed very quickly by jumping before hopping to the other side, impressing Wendy's friends which caused Dipper to frown before sighing and taking a crack at the climb.

Sadly, he struggled at climbing back down.

"Okay, okay. Just gotta get a foothold." Said Dipper as he tried to climb back down.

"Relax, Dipper! You got this!" Exclaimed Mabel cheering her brother on.

Before Dipper could act upon his sister's encouragement, Lee threw him off the fence much to Mabel's dismay.

She helped her brother up. "Thanks." He said.

"No prob, bro bro." Replied Mabel with a smile.

Dipper scratched the back of his neck before heading to the entrance with the others.

There, he saw Robbie struggling to open the doors.

"I think it's, it's stuck!" Said Robbie failing to open the door.

"Let me have a crack at it." Said Dipper calmly as he approached the doors.

"Oh yeah. I can't get in, but I'm sure junior here is gonna break it down like Hercules." Commented Robbie in exasperation.

"Come on, leave him alone. He's just a little kid." Wendy told Robbie, causing Dipper's shoulders to fall dejectedly.

But a moment later, Dipper donned a determined expression before heading to see another way in and he succeeded. He got onto the roof of the building from the side and got in using the vents.

"Who wants to bet he doesn't make it?" Asked Robbie and as if on que, Dipper opened the doors a moment after.

"Good call inviting this little maniac!" Exclaimed Lee cheerfully as he entered the store.

"Your new name is Dr Funtimes!" Added Nate cheerfully entering the store.

Mabel playfully nudged her brother, causing him to smile as she entered the store. She didn't notice him hesitating to tell her something before Wendy entered.

"Nice work."

Hearing Wendy's words, Dipper decided to put off talking to his sister for later.

Because now, they party.

Mabel sat crosslegged alone in a corner with packets of smile dip thoroughly kept away from her thinking about the future.

The best thing to happen is for the story to go as the original.

All she had to do was wait for the whole thing to pass by. Or at least, that was supposed to be the case.

"Would he be angry that I hid it all this time? Would he hate me?" Muttered Mabel anxiously before letting out an exhausted sigh.

As Mabel continued to worry about the future, a pair of hands stealthily rose from the walls behind her.

Mabel didn't notice anything until it was too late. She tried to scream as the hands quickly covered her mouth and dragged her through the walls into a dark room.

Mabel tried to look around her as the hands let go before she noticed a menacing figure behind her.

"You have a lot of nerve stepping on our turf, little ghostie!"

Mabel was both terrified and confused. "I'm not a ghost." She said nervously.

The figure paused in surprise. "Then are you...A ZOMBIE?!"

"I'm alive...I think? Please don't kill me."

The figure paused once more before revealing themself. It was the ghost of an old lady who Mabel recognized as Ma, one of the owners of Dusk 2 Dawn.

"How old are you again?" Asked Ma raising a brow.

"Twelve." Said Mabel stiff as a brick as Ma inspected her.

"How odd. You feel pretty dead, young lady." Said Ma in confusion.

Mabel's heart sank as she thought about a certain possibility and about how her brother would feel about this.

"Uhh, what?" Asked Mabel nervously.

Ma shrugged. "I don't know either, but I'm sure it's fine, little missy." She said before she flung Mabel back into the store without warning.

"Ow, ow." Said Mabel in pain as layed on the floor.

"Mabel! Where were you?" Asked Dipper worriedly as he hovered over his sister with Wendy talking to her friends about what Dipper supposedly did. "I thought the ghost got you."

"His wife did. She let me go, though." Said Mabel tiredly as she stood up before whispering. "Without the lamby dance too."

"Hey- wait, how'd you know about that?" Asked Dipper in confusion.

"I'll tell you in a bit." Mabel replied looking very uncomfortable. "Let's just get out of here first "

Dipper paused as he stared at the ground in guilt.

"I'm sorry."

Mabel looked confused. "For what?"

"For being mean to you today. I was just jealous of how effortlessly you impressed everyone...and Wendy." Dipper replied causing Mabel to chuckle at the mention of Wendy. "And there is no way I could come close to you when it comes to this stuff, so I got angry. You don't have to tell me about your secret or anyth-"

"No." Mabel cut in dejectedly. "I HAVE to tell you. You deserve to know this."

"Oh come on. I don't need to know about some future vision artifact or something."

"No, Dipper, it's-... it's something a lot worse." Mabel said before whispering something into her brother's ear.

And the only response Dipper let out was an audible gasp.
