Teams

Power Poppers: Buford, Maverick, Sua, Lisa, and Lilith

Sleek Slushies: Axel, Caleb, Garry, Kylie, Meredith, Tamera, and Hilda

Fried Freaks: Boris, Fenton, Melissa, JJ, and Elsa

"Last time on Total Drama Carnival Calamity," Chris said, narrating the previous episode. Flashbacks occur as he talks. "The teams got busy, putting acts for the talent challenge. Lisa's poetry, Lilith's drums, Sua's dancing, Elsa's gaming, Fenton's cleaning, JJ's clowning, Hilda's singing, and Kylie's cheerleading."

"Despite most performances, Hilda exceeded all the judge's expectations and gave the Sleek Slushies first place directly to the gold tent. The Power Poppers lost thanks to the ladies there not listening to Maverick's order. In the end, despite making enemies with almost everyone on the team Bo stays another day. How?"

"By stealing the idol from Jett of course, sending the runaway leaving from the competition."

The flashbacks end. Chris and Chef are shown playing air hockey at the arcade center.

"How will Jett's elimination affect the Power Poppers and how will the other teams endure the next challenge? Find out now on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"

Distracted, Chef scores a goal to get the final point and win. The cook snickers as the host narrow his eyes at him with displeasure.

The episode starts outside the gold tent, where Hilda and Tamera are shown. The opera singer is next to a wooden easel stand that is holding a whiteboard. The Sleek Slushies symbol appears on the screen.

"Okay Tamera," Hilda called the vixen, looking a bit worried and tired at the same time. She has a dry erase marker in her left hand and uses it on the board to draw some figures. "A guy walks by and asks you for the time, and you tell him what?"

"Can't he check the time himself?" Tamera rudely asked. "Seriously, we're in the twenty-first century. Everyone has a phone or watch nowadays."

Hilda sighs. "No, you just tell him about the time with your phone."

Confessional – Hilda – Sleek Slushies

"These past few days have been… fine teaching Tamera," Hilda hesitantly said. She covers her head with her hands. "Who am I kidding? I've been getting nowhere with her. It's like she doesn't want to get nicer."

Confessional – Tamera – Sleek Slushies

She has her arms crossed. "I don't want to change. Frankly, Hilda has been annoying these couple of days. I can only endure so much amiability and love from her. Not that I need it because I don't."

End Confessionals

"Maybe we should take a five-minute break," Hilda suggested with a frown.

"Ugh, finally," Tamera said happily.

Hilda sits on the floor, looking gloomy. Tamera happily walks to the gold tent to head inside until she hears the singer say these words.

"Maybe Axel is right," Hilda spoke quietly to herself.

Despite trying to be quiet, Tamera heard her. She cannot let Axel gain Hilda again. She needs her as a scapegoat. Sure, there is Caleb, but the possibility of being saved by him is fifty-fifty. The vixen sits down next to the singer for a conversation.

"Hey um," Tamera spoke, trying to figure what to say. She can pretend to be nice. That is an option. "You're doing the best you can to help me. I appre… appre…"

"Appreciate?" Hilda said the full word.

"Yeah, that one," Tamera stated.

"Tamera, is there a reason why you're rude to others?" Hilda asked.

"Pfft, of course not," Tamera brushed the thoughts going through her head. "There's no reason whatsoever. Now excuse me while I go vomit in a trash can." She stands up and leaves Hilda alone.

Inside the gold tent are the other Sleek Slushies. Those being Caleb, Kylie, Axel, and Garry sitting at the table. Meredith as per usual is nowhere in sight.

"How's high school for you guys?" Caleb asked his teammates.

"It goes smoothly when you're a cheerleader," Kylie admitted with a playful smirk. "Best flyer in my grade. Some of the classes suck mostly due to my teachers." She looks at the camera to face the audience. "They know who they are."

"I just do my thing," Garry admitted. "Study and try to hang out."

"You hang out?" Caleb wondered.

"Well yeah, they don't know I'm there, but I do hang out," Garry explained. "I'm not in any group but they allow me in, or maybe they don't know I'm even three feet next to them. High school tends to be uninteresting."

"Yeah, I'm sure that's the uninteresting part," Caleb retorted.

"What about you Axel? What do you tend to do in high school?" Kylie asked the gentleman.

"Forgive me Kylie but I'm not comfortable sharing information of stuff I do outside the show," Axel apologized.

"It's because of me, isn't it?" Caleb asked while frowning, pretending to be sad.

"Yes, it is," Axel stated.

"Dude, we're just talking about school," Caleb said, done with his fake frown. "I'll talk about myself to make you feel better. High school is like the parties I go to, have fun, and enjoy hanging out with dudes and chicks. Maybe drink booze along the way."

"Where does the studying fit in there?" Axel asked the handsome dude.

"Oh," Caleb said. "I forgot about that."

Kylie snickers at Caleb. Tamera and Hilda arrive inside the gold tent, doing what they previously did. Which is holding a large flat plate with food on it to serve their teammates.

Confessional – Axel – Sleek Slushies

"Just because I'm not focusing on Caleb doesn't mean I have to open up to him. Okay yeah, school talk seems harmless, but it can be a gateway in feeding the enemy."

End Confessional

Inside the brown tent are the Power Poppers and Fried Freaks. Well, half of them anyway. Lisa, Lilith, and Sua are sitting at one table while Elsa and Boris are sitting at the other one. Each team's symbol appears on the screen.

"This is weird," Elsa admitted to Boris, looking at the empty seats. "Usually, we're the ones not at the table at this time."

"That's because we both agree to take a break from the arcade this day," Boris reminded, bored out of his mind.

"Yeah, but shouldn't the others be here?" Elsa questioned. "What if Melissa is trying right now to convince Fenton to stay on her side?"

Boris' eyes widen in fear. Melissa is doing what he and Elsa were going for.

"Let's find them immediately," Boris instructed. The two get out of their seats and leave the brown tent. Not before looking weirdly at Lisa who is shown holding onto a chair, sobbing quietly.

Once the two Fried Freaks leave, Lilith and Sua look at the poet with concern.

"Hey Lisa, you've been hugging that chair for more than ten minutes now," Lilith said. "Is there something you would like to share?"

"This is the chair that Jett sat on whenever we come here," Lisa said, rubbing the chair with her hands.

"Oh, that's… wicked, I think," Lilith responded unsurely.

"How does the chair feel Lisa?" Sua wondered.

Lilith's eyes widen. "Wait, don't…"

"It's so rough and dangerous like Jett," Lisa answered. "And this is all I have left."

"Lisa, maybe we can talk about other stuff. Like, if you were to be murdered, where would you want your body to be found?" Lilith asked.

"Oh, that's a good one Lilith," Sua responded cheerfully. "Lisa can ask Buford what his place would be so she can bring him there."

Lilith looks at Sua with concern. "Um, Lisa doesn't need to do that. That is not necessary."

"Can I do it?" Sua wondered.

"No," Lilith exclaimed. "Is just a question. No actual murder involved."

"Or," Lisa spoke, done rubbing the chair and standing to put her two hands on the table. "We can make a girls alliance to vote Buford off when we lose again."

"Sounds good to me," Sua happily claimed. She then ponders. "What's an alliance?"

"It is when a group of two or more team up to take care of the competition," Lisa explained.

"Should I get a shovel?" Sua sincerely asked.

"What!? No, Sua there is no murder in this," Lilith told the idol then looks at the poet. "And I'm not joining a girl's alliance. We're only teaming up to get rid of Buford, deal?"

"Fine by me," Lisa beamed with a satisfied smirk.

Confessional – Lilith – Power Poppers

"Ever since Jett left this team is a mess. Buford is still being himself, Maverick hasn't talked to me much, I'm growing concern for Sua, and Lisa is well, concerning as well. I don't mind voting for Buford, but Maverick is the only person who enjoys my questions. I want to go to the merge with him."

End Confessional

Around the booth areas of the carnival, JJ and Melissa are playing a friendly game of soccer/football. There is a goal post behind each female. Fenton is watching the two in action, trying to figure out how does the athletic nerd's competitiveness overtakes her. But for some reason, nothing has happened so far until JJ scores a goal.

"Good job JJ," Melissa stated, giving the clown a thumbs up.

This is when Fenton blows on a silver whistle that he has in his left hand. "Timeout, we need to talk."

The three Fried Freaks approach each other.

"We've been at this for thirty minutes," Fenton told Melissa politely. "Is there a reason why you're not getting competitive? I haven't seen you in action, but I doubt it's this."

Melissa ponders in thought. "I can think of two things. The first one is that it doesn't feel like a competition. More like a friendly match between JJ and me. The second reason can be that since JJ is my teammate, I don't feel the need to reach that level."

"Those are good reasons," Fenton concluded. "Guess we'll have to wait until a challenge starts to help your competitiveness."

"When until that happens, let's talk about your indecisiveness," Melissa told the competent short boy. "This obviously comes from some root. So, I need to know when you started acting like this."

Fenton is about to answer until JJ uses a clown horn, indicating Boris and Elsa are approaching.

"Seems like we're always separated in the morning," Boris commentated. "Let's go, Fenton, Chef will be bringing gruel to the tent at any moment."

"We'll go when we're done talking," Melissa told the rich kid as she approaches him.

"You two can talk on the way," Boris stated. Elsa nods, agreeing with him.

JJ and Fenton watch the two dispute once again. Is honestly getting annoying for both of these teens now. The silent clown grabs Fenton by his right arm and takes him to a booth. Then she lowers the sidekick and herself under the booth's counter so they cannot be seen.

JJ starts using sign language to communicate with Fenton but then forgets he does not know how to use the language. She facepalms out of embarrassment.

Fenton feels bad. He instantly gets an idea.

"Hey, can you write down the sign language in a notebook so I can learn it in a few days?" Fenton asked JJ. "Bet it will feel nice to have someone communicate in your language."

JJ nods in agreement. She looks a bit skeptical that her teammate can memorize sign language in a few days but at least having someone who knows a little can be nice.

A new scene emerges with Buford and Meredith at the Bargaby Bludiddle Hut, sitting on stools. Lucy gives them two vanilla milkshakes.

"So, you two are together?" Lucy asked for confirmation.

"Well, we're starting off slow," Meredith admitted, blushing a bit.

"I'm cool with that," Buford said, then begins drinking his milkshake.

"Really? Because Noah and Duncan have told me you two have been making out a lot," Lucy said, skeptical of the slow process. "They watch the security footage from time to time."

Meredith blushes even harder.

"Ok, we're not exactly going slow, but I do believe we should," Buford suggested to the historian.

"Yeah," Meredith agrees then looks at Lucy. "By the way, I'm thinking of telling you everything about this carnival in one go."

"I knew you still have information," Lucy said with a satisfied smile. "Let me guess, you want to give it all to me now since you're starting a relationship."

"Yeah, I believe that's the best call," Meredith concluded.

"Once you tell all you know to me, I won't be making food for you two," Lucy said.

Buford spits out his drink onto the floor. He composes himself to speak. "Well, it was good while it lasted."

"Hey, you got some milkshake on your lips," Meredith told Bo then chuckles. "It looks like a mustache."

"Pass me a napkin," Buford told Lucy.

Meredith grabs Bo's cheeks and turns his head a bit to look at her. "No need, I'll take care of it." She kisses Bo on the lips and the two begin to make out.

Confessional – Lucy – Intern

"I'm glad Meredith is going to finally tell me everything I need to know about this place and the Ringleader. Especially since she has Bo now. Don't get me wrong. They're fine together but it is getting annoying having to serve Bo food when the deal was made between me and Meredith."

End Confessional

Maverick is shown approaching the hut. "Hey Bo," The promoter called. "I know you like to be alone in the mornings, but we need to…" He sees his teammate and Meredith making out. "Talk?"

Lucy fakes a cough to let the couple know to stop kissing. Meredith and Buford look at the detective in training. Then at the person walking to them. Which is Maverick.

Knowing the awkwardness, Lucy sits on the ground to not see their faces.

"Buford, private meeting," Maverick told his teammate with a cold expression.

Bo gets out of the stool he was sitting on. The two Power Poppers stand a safe distance from the hut to conversate. While they do that, Meredith talks to Lucy about her knowledge of the carnival.

"So, you and Meredith," Maverick said, no longer showing a cold look. Rather, intrigued by this revelation. "How long?"

"Three days ago," Buford simply answered.

"Okay," Maverick said then changes the topic. He claps his hands together and takes a deep breath. "We need to team up."

Buford's curiosity sparks, his eyes lighting up. "Why? Thought everyone hates me in my team."

"While I'll admit you were a bit too harsh on the girls, but you defended my reasoning for the talent challenge," Maverick answered. "Plus, the girls might make an alliance. If you leave, I'll be going home next."

"It's going to be tough to convince one of them to betray the other," Buford pointed out.

"I'll talk to Lilith and Sua just in case we head to elimination again," Maverick assured.

Confessional – Buford – Power Poppers

"For the past days, I thought I was sure of going home if my team loses again. Now I might actually have a shot staying in the game. I'll admit that I probably should have voted for Lilith, but Jett my dude you messed up."

Confessional – Maverick – Power Poppers

"Even after what the ladies did, I'm still happy to be this team's leader," The promoter commented. "But I also want to win five million dollars. Teaming up with Bo secretly will increase my chance of making at least the merge. I just hope Lilith isn't too mad for me not willing to vote for him."

End Confessionals

"Attention teams, meet me at the carousel to commence today's challenge," Chris announced through the speakers of the carnival.

The three teams, Chris, and Chef arrive at the colorful carousel ride. It is a rotating circular platform with seats for riders. The seats are in the form of rows of wooden horses mounted on posts. Each team symbol appears on the screen.

"Welcome teams to the carnival's carousel," Chris proclaimed.

"Wait, this is the only carousel in this carnival?" Hilda asked.

"No, but this is the only functional one," Chris answered. "Since the Sleek Slushies won the previous challenge, they get to ride the carousel."

Most of the contestants give ponder looks to the host.

"Why just the Slushies?" Elsa asked. "And is this a challenge?"

"Nope," Chris answered her second question. "This is actually a reward for the Slushies winning the talent contest."

"Then why we and the Fried Freaks are here in the first place?" Buford questioned bluntly.

"So the Slushies can rub their victory in both losing team's faces," Chris stated joyfully.

"I do like rubbing in people's faces," Tamera admitted.

"That's not going to be used out of context," Caleb joked.

"Oh, I almost forgot," Chris said. "Power Poppers, stay near the carousel's left while Fried Freaks stay near the carousel's right."

Both teams do as instructed.

All seven members of the Sleek Slushies sit on a horse of the carousel. Chef, near a rectangular machine, pulls on a lever from it, starting the ride. The horses move up and down by gears to simulate galloping. Circus music starts coming from the ride.

"Do we really need to gloat on our victory?" Axel questioned, finding the need unnecessary.

"You all suck!" Tamera taunted at the Power Poppers and Fried Freaks, getting a few glares at her way.

"I'm just happy to be on a carousel," Kylie contently said.

Chef looks at Chris with a smirk. The host nods his head, allowing the cook to pull down the lever more. This makes the ride go faster and faster. The Sleek Slushies scream from how fast they are going with the exceptions of Kylie and Hilda. Soon, Caleb is unable to hold onto his horse and flies towards Boris, knocking the two into the ground.

Melissa laughs at the rich kid's misfortune until Kylie flies at her, both falling to the ground.

"Brace yourselves," Maverick exclaimed to his team, having a feeling some of the Slushies will land on his team's side.

He is correct. Tamera collides with Sua while Axel collides with Buford. The promoter can catch Hilda from knocking him to the floor. Meredith collides with Lisa.

Garry is the last to fly out of the carousel and collide with JJ.

"Sorry," Garry quickly apologized and gets up. He quickly extends his left arm so the clown can take his left hand. Thanks to the boy's help she gets up.

Garry is waiting for JJ to thank him, but she just smiles and waves.

Confessional – Garry – Sleek Slushies

"A thank you would have been nice."

End Confessional

The rest of the Slushies stand up, four now on the Power Poppers side and three on the Fried Freaks side.

"What the heck Chris?" Caleb said, irritated. "How was that a reward?"

"You seven enjoyed it didn't you?" Chris asked smugly.

Only Hilda and Kylie say yes while the others say no.

"Doesn't matter, I need to make an announcement," Chris spoke.

"You're getting fired?" Lisa joked.

"No," Chris responded quickly. "No one can replace me."

"What about Don?" Elsa wondered.

"No one can replace me as host when it comes to Total Drama," Chris sneered. "Ridonculous Race was a spin-off."

"Yeah," Tamera agreed. "Better than this…"

"You finish that sentence and Chef will take you to the lame-o-sine in an instant," Chris warned.

The vixen shuts up.

"Chris, announcement?" Fenton reminded.

"Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me, Fenton," Chris thanked. "As you all can see, there are four Slushies next to the Power Poppers and three next to the Fried Freaks. Brace yourselves everyone because the teams are now officially two! With new names included."

All contestants gasp at the shocking announcement.

"Two teams?" Lilith questioned.

"New names?" Boris proclaimed confused.

"Yes, I just told you two that," Chris reminded with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Whoa, why are two teams being formed?" Melissa wondered. "No team has pulled a Victory."

"Plus, in World Tour, you didn't want DJ to be in Team Chris when he was the only Victory member left," Axel added.

"That's because the challenges starting now are better suited for two teams instead of three," Chris elucidated. "Plus, Chef and I thought all the Fried Freaks will be gone by this point in the game, so we made these challenges base on two."

"I'm glad you had so much faith in us," Elsa sarcastically said.

"That I do, which is why you're getting three new teammates," Chris said. "Fenton, Boris, Garry, Caleb, Kylie, Melissa, JJ, and Elsa. You eight are now officially the Nutty Nachos!"

A new symbol appears, replacing the Fried Freaks one. This new circle is a darker yellow than the Power Poppers, with a nacho chip in the middle dipped in cheese that is oozing.

"Nutty Nachos?" Boris questioned with disgust. "Revolting! Who on Earth combines nuts and nachos?"

"Is meant to be metaphorical. As in, your team has nutty people on it," Chris explained.

"Then where are the nachos?" Boris asked.

Chris decides to ignore him and looks at the other nine contestants. "Buford, Maverick, Axel, Tamera, Hilda, Meredith, Lilith, Sua, and Lisa are now officially the Cotton Crazies."

A new blue symbol replaces the Power Poppers. This one has blue cotton candy held by a soft cardboard cone.

"You all can give your thoughts in the confessional photo booth before we head to the arcade center," Chris said.

Sua, Elsa, Boris, and Axel seem excited once the host told the teams they are going to the arcade center. That can only mean one thing.

Confessional – Axel – Cotton Crazies

"Didn't expect to go into two teams so soon. Actually, I didn't even think that Chris would do it. I kind of have mixed feelings about my new team. The Power Poppers lost the most from the previous three, so I don't know how we'll be able to win games."

He ponders a bit more before continuing to talk. "Though, I might have a chance to finally get rid of Tamera." He realizes what he said. "Gah, I really need to get stop with that."

Confessional – Hilda Cotton Crazies

"It's sad that Chris split up my team. Now I face some of my previous teammates. Hopefully, I don't lose my friendships being on opposite teams." She smiles a bit. "At least I have Tamera, Meredith, and Axel by my side."

Confessional – Lisa – Cotton Crazies

"More people means more votes to get rid of Buford."

Confessional – Maverick – Cotton Crazies

"Sweet, more teammates that can help out. I will gladly accept that."

Confessional – Fenton – Nutty Nachos

He sighs with relief. "I am so glad I got new teammates. I was getting worried I might have to vote for Boris or Melissa if my previous team ever lost again. I probably would have gone for Elsa though since she and I don't talk that much."

Confessional – Caleb – Nutty Nachos

He chuckles happily. "Man, this team is going to be easy to mess around I can feel it. No Tamera and no Axel. Though, since Meredith is not on the team, I have to figure out a way to dispose of her. She's no longer a solid vote so continuing the blackmail will be in vain."

Confessional – Melissa – Nutty Nachos

"Gosh, this is such a blessing. Now I can convince the new crew to get rid of Boris. He's surely going to get on their bad side."

Confessional – Kylie – Nutty Nachos

"My new teammates seem great. Don't know much about them outside of challenges but is fine. Especially since I don't have to tolerate Tamera. Can't wait to beat her now that she is on the Cotton Crazies."

End Confessionals

Chris, Chef, and the two new teams are inside the arcade center, watching four interns put tickets in arcade machines. As we have seen before, the four are Duncan, Noah, Scarlett, and Lucy. The symbol of the Cotton Crazies and Nutty Nachos appears on the screen.

"Welcome Cotton Crazies and Nutty Nachos to the arcade center," Chris told the teams. "Bet you all know what challenge is going to be for today."

"Video games!" Elsa, Sua, Axel, and Boris shouted excitedly.

"Close, arcade games," Chris spoke. He looks at the four contestants that shouted. "We're not having every single match just be players looking at an electronic screen."

"So, when you mean arcade games you mean air hockey, shooting hoops, and skee-ball?" Maverick asked.

"And more to come," Chris agreed. "Before I explain today's challenge, someone has to sit out."

"You planned this to be a two-team challenge, yet you didn't consider the fact my team has one more player than the other?" Buford questioned, referring to the Cotton Crazies.

"There were supposed to be sixteen players, but the second elimination ceremony got into a tie when I didn't have tiebreakers at the moment," Chris explained. "So, who from the Cotton Crazies is going to sit out on today's challenge?"

The nine Cotton Crazies look at each other. Buford and Tamera have to prove themselves to stay on the team. Lisa, Axel, Lilith, and Sua are not going to back down. Maverick cannot sit out because he is the current leader. Well, unless a former Sleek Slushie wants to try and step up.

"I'll sit this one out," Hilda told her teammates.

"You sure?" Meredith asked, wondering if that is a good idea.

"I think it's better this way," The opera singer told the historian.

Confessional – Hilda – Cotton Crazies

"I rarely go to an arcade. I spend more of my time practicing singing, going to musical theaters, and spending time with my family. Whether it be video games or normal arcade games I'm not sure I'll ace any. But now I can cheer for my teammates to win."

End Confessional

Hilda sits on a giant stuff teddy bear, away from both teams.

"Now that we have our quitter is time to explain today's challenge," Chris said. "Each contestant besides Hilda will compete for one on one in an arcade match. Whichever team wins the most matches get to be in the gold tent while the losing team must eliminate a teammate."

"What if each team wins four matches?" Fenton asked.

"Then we'll go into a tiebreaker Chris simply answered.

"How do we determine who faces who?" Kylie wondered.

"Chef did a randomizer to determine who is facing who," Chris answered the cheerleader.

Chef passes a yellow folder to the host. Chris opens the folder and takes out a piece of paper to determine who is facing who. The four interns leave the arcade center, done putting tickets inside each machine.

"Our first match is Axel versus JJ in skee-ball," Chris announced.

Confessional – Axel – Cotton Crazies

"I was hoping to play a video game, but skee-ball is not that hard."

End Confessional

Axel and JJ approach the skee-ball arcade machines, being five of them. Each has glowing red lights for the scoreboard, a ten-foot ramp, rings that have the number of points you get from the skee-ball, and of course the brown plastic balls inside the machine.

"JJ and Axel, the match is simple. Whoever scores the most points after using nine skee-balls wins," Chris told the two.

"What's the catch?" Axel eyed the host skeptically.

"No catch," Chris assured. "Just play."

"Well then," Axel looks at JJ and offers a handshake to the clown. "May the best player win madam."

JJ accepts the handshake and the two get into their positions. The gentleman will be playing on the far left while the clown on the far right.

"And play!" Chris exclaimed.

Axel and JJ press the green go button on the arcade machine so the skee-balls can roll out of their captivity. As soon as the two grab the first ball, both their right hands start to burn. The two then immediately roll the ball into the ramp, both balls only entering the ten-point hoop.

JJ uses her left hand to take an icepack out of her wig and puts it on her right hand to soften the burning sensation.

"What the heck Chris?" Axel exclaimed flabbergasted.

"Hey, there's no catching in skee-ball," Chris smugly said. "You two will just have to resist the hot balls that Chef steamed for this match."

Axel groans, having to endure the burning feeling every time he picks up a ball. JJ on the other hand takes a yellow leather thick glove out of her wig and puts it in her right hand. She then takes a skee-ball and rolls it on the ramp. The ball lands in the fifty-point hoop.

Axel takes a hot ball into his right hand again and immediately rolls it, scoring this time twenty more points. He breathes in and out from the burning pain.

JJ, now with the glove advantage can easily score points while Axel struggles to switch hands whenever he feels one hurting too much.

Meredith decides to share some knowledge with her new teammates. "It was between 1907 and 1908 that Joseph Fourestier Simpson…"

"Not helping Meredith," Axel exclaimed, scoring another twenty points with his last skee-ball.

Chris does not need to even see the score to know the gentleman lost. "JJ wins the first match for the Nutty Nachos!"

JJ's team cheers for her.

Axel walks up to his team, not happy losing. "I'll be in the bathroom to pour cold water in my hands." He leaves the arcade center.

Confessional – Boris – Nutty Nachos

"JJ has proven to be very useful in challenges." He crosses his arms. "If only she wasn't on Melissa's side."

End Confessional

"Our next match is Buford versus Elsa in the epic fighting arcade game Varmel versus ComCap," Chris proclaimed.

"Of course, pit me against the girl that plays video games for a living," Buford said, already knowing how this match will end.

Bo and Elsa head to the fighting game and stand next to each other. Elsa presses the start button so the two can select their characters. The dude that keeps it real looks at the six buttons and joystick from the machine.

"I'm so screwed," Buford told himself.

"Don't worry, it's not like everyone on your team hates you," Elsa tried to cheer the guy up. On the game's screen, she selects Metal Man, Orez, and Yante.

Buford has no idea who to pick so picks characters that look cool to him. These three are Doctor Kismet, Arachnid Man, and Chun-C.

The two start the game and Bo quickly starts pressing all six buttons while moving the joystick. A bunch of attacks, transformations, assists, and sounds are heard, doing lots of damage to Elsa's character Metal Man.

"Stop mashing buttons," Elsa griped.

"It's the only thing I know how to do in this situation," Buford explained.

Elsa decides to commence blocking by moving her joystick to her left, trying to figure out an opportunity to strike. Not even ten seconds, she finds her opening and starts performing combos. Since Buford called an assist constantly, both characters get combed and are immediately knocked out.

Bo now only has Doctor Kismet left. He decides to spam just one move since it looked invincible.

"Foot dive! Foot dive!" Doctor Kismet repeated every time he will do that attack.

Elsa decides to end this quickly and combo Bo's last character into oblivion. Chris and Lisa chuckle at the boy's defeat.

"And of course, Elsa epically dominates Buford. The Nutty Nachos have two wins now," Chris said. "Can Maverick beat Melissa in shooting hoops?"

Melissa's eyes widen in fear. "Shooting hoops?"

A rapid transition goes through as Melissa and Maverick are shown standing at a two-player shooting hoops arcade game. There are six balls to throw into the hoop from each side.

Maverick does not seem happy to be facing off against Melissa.

"Hey, sorry for spiking that volleyball into your nuts that time," The athletic nerd whispered her apology.

"That hurt a lot," Maverick whispered back. "I'm not going to hold a grudge, but I'm letting you know I'm not going easy in this match."

Not going easy he said. Melissa's apologetic frown turns into a competitive smirk. "That's what I like to hear."

Confessional – Melissa – Nutty Nachos

"This stinks," She burst out loud. "Part of me wants to self-sabotage so I don't feel guilty about hurting Mav while the other part of me wants to destroy him in hoops." She blinks twice. "So this is how Fenton feels like every day."

End Confessional

"Ready?" Chris told Maverick and Melissa. "You both have one minute to shoot as many balls into the hoop as you can."

Melissa lowers her body a bit to get in a shooting stance. Maverick stands normally as he does.

"Start!"

Melissa and Maverick press the green button of the machine so the basketballs can come rolling down. The athletic nerd grabs one and her hands suddenly start to burn. She accidentally tosses the ball far off, hitting Sua's face in the process.

"Sorry," Melissa quickly apologized before continuing on shooting. Even though the basketballs are steaming hot, she concentrates on her shots, resisting the urge to scream in pain.

Maverick on the other hand tosses each basketball second after second, making sure his hands do not get burned. While not as coordinated as Melissa's method, he can make shots rapidly, albeit missing sometimes.

With thirty seconds remaining, Melissa notices her opponent having the lead. What can she do to prevent him from winning? She gulps, feeling guilty about what she is about to do. She shoves Maverick to the ground with the left side of her body, putting power into her shoulder. This shocks the Nutty Nachos except for Boris.

"What the heck?" Maverick asked with shock. First, she apologized and does this?

"Maverick get up," Lilith encouraged from the sidelines.

The promoter stands up quickly and continues tossing balls into the hoop rapidly.

"Time!" Chris exclaimed, indicating that the minute has passed, and the arcade game can no longer provide basketballs. He looks at both scores. "The winner is…"

"Maverick by four points!"

The Cotton Crazies cheer for Maverick. The promoter high fives Buford, Lilith, and Meredith.

Melissa walks up to the Nutty Nachos, feeling ashamed. She holds her stomach, feeling pain in that area. "I have to go." She leaves the arcade. Fenton decides to run after her until Chris gets in front of him.

"Sorry dude, but you can't leave until you do your match," Chris stated.

Fenton sighs and heads back to his teammates.

"The score is two to one, Nutty Nachos leading," Chris reminded the audience. "Up next is Caleb versus Lilith in deer hunting."

Confessional – Caleb – Nutty Nachos

"I live next to a boardwalk a few towns away. Play in the arcade with my bros and flirt with ladies in the process. Spending time there is definitely going to help me out in this match."

End Confessional

Caleb and Lilith head to the deer hunting arcade machine, looking at the machine's twenty-five-inch monitor. Both grab a plastic pistol that has a cable attached to it that connects it to the machine. Caleb has the red pistol while Lilith has the blue pistol.

Chris presses the start button for them to commence. The monitor shows a forest while dears pop out from areas like bushes, trees, and more.

Caleb and Lilith shoot the deer that are on screen as everybody else watches them play. The handsome genius misses a shot and the pistol he is using creates a small electrical shock.

"Argh!" Caleb exclaimed before continuing to fire at deer more precisely.

"Careful, you miss a deer, and you get shocked," Chris warned then chuckles.

Lilith, despite missing several times barely feels any pain from the electric shocks. It honestly tickles her. Caleb sweats as he continues to fire precisely, not wanting to get electrocuted again.

A minute passes and the game stops. It then announces "Winner! Red player!".

Chris looks at both scores just in case. "Yep, Caleb won. Must have gotten many heheadshotsIs now three to one. Nutty Nachos just need two more wins."

Caleb rubs some sweat off his forehead as he reunites with his team. His teammates applause him.

Confessional – Lilith – Cotton Crazies

"I can't believe my endurance caused me to lose the match. Since the shocks don't hurt me, I wasn't as focused as I should have been."

End Confessional

Boris and Tamera are at an air hockey table with low friction. Each contestant has a red slider pusher in their right hand. The flat part of the table is white with a blue line in the center, while the rest of the machine is black. There is a scoreboard on its left side.

Chris arrives to meet the two. "Boris and Tamera, you two will be competing against each other in air hockey. First to put this red puck in a goal seven times wins the match." He flips the red puck from his left hand onto the hockey table. "Start!"

Boris and Tamera get to their station to play. The puck goes to Tamera's side, so she hits it first. Boris ricochets it back.

"Might as well give up," Boris cockily said. "I own five air hockey games at my home."

They continue to play.

"Ha don't make me laugh. My father is the CEO of a company and I own ten air hockey games."

"Well, my parents can buy twenty arcades," Boris countered.

"My dad can buy me fifty arcades," Tamera boasted.

"Are they seriously throwing insults based on how rich they are?" Kylie asked Elsa.

"Yep," Elsa said deadpanned.

"My parents have so much money I can purchase a city," Boris exclaimed as the two continue playing air hockey, neither of them has scored a goal.

"Well, my dad is so rich he can purchase three cities," Tamera retorted.

"At least both my parents are rich," Boris smugly spoke.

Tamera stops playing, letting the rick kid get the puck into her goal.

"That's right, I bet your mother lives off your daddy," Boris insulted.

Tamera snaps and throws her slide pusher at Boris who dodges it. Then she runs up to him to tackle him into the ground. The two start fighting until Chris and Chef separate them.

Some contestants look horrified at what happened while others enjoy it. Those who enjoy are Caleb, Kylie, and Sua.

"Well, since Boris was the only one to score a goal he wins," Chris announced, still holding the rich kid back from another brawl happening. "Let's quickly move to the next match."

Confessional – Tamera – Cotton Crazies

"That… actually hurt," The vixen admitted. "She's a good mother. Is just her and dad work a lot, so I don't have time to spend with them."

Confessional – Boris – Nutty Nachos

"Do I care if I hurt her feelings? No, I won the match for my team. We only need one more win to finish the challenge. My teammates might not accept the method I used but they all know it got the result."

End Confessionals

Sua and Kylie are standing on a dance arcade machine. Under them is the silver metal padding with four green arrow mats that go up, down, left, and right. The two looks at the machine's monitor wondering which song will be selected.

"You two know how this game works, right?" Chris asked the ladies.

"Follow the arrows on screen by pressing our feet in the correct arrow?" Kylie said, a bit unsure.

"Yep," Sua nodded.

"Good," Chris said and looks at the song selection. "Hmm, 'Ladies Just Want To Have Fun' is a good song for you two. Whoever gets the most points at the end wins the match."

"You can do it Sua," Hilda cheered for her teammate.

"And if we lose, we just vote her off," Buford said quietly.

Chris starts the song and distances himself from the idol and cheerleader. Sua and Kylie follow the beat as it starts slow. The faster the song goes the more arrows appear on the screen. Each team cheers for their teammate to win.

While Kylie is definitely doing a good job, she is no match for Sua's dance skills. After all, she does come from a dance group. The cheerleader misses one-note and gets electrocuted.

"Ugh, Chris, you need some help on that fetish," Kylie told the host as she continues dancing.

"Is not a fetish. I need to make sure each game has that Total Drama flare," Chris defended.

After a few more electric shocks from Kylie, the song ends. It is clear who the winner is.

"Sua wins the match!" Chris exclaimed. Sua's team cheer for her. "The Cotton Crazies need to win two in a row to tie the game. Can they pull it off?"

Scene changes to show Meredith and Fenton at an arcade machine called Tintorama. The machine consists of a spinner in the center. The spinner is divided into different colors. Some are larger than others. The colors smallest to biggest are as follow. White, yellow, blue, green, and red. There is also a black ball in the spinner. To the four sides of the machine is a color panel on each side. Each panel has a button corresponding to the colors of the spinner.

"Welcome to Tintorama," Chris told Meredith and Hilda. "This game is really simple. Just select the color you want on a panel and the spinner in the center starts spinning as well as the ball. Whoever gets the ball in the color they selected wins the match. Match won't end until someone guesses a color correctly."

"Good luck Fenton," Meredith told the sidekick. She notices Fenton is looking at the Tintorama machine nervously.

"You mean, I have to decide what color to pick?" Fenton asked the host.

"Yep, only you. Nobody can decide for you," Chris answered smiling.

Fenton freezes up, causing Boris and Elsa to sigh. JJ looks concerned for her teammate. Caleb, Kylie, and Garry eye curiously.

Confessional – Kylie – Nutty Nachos

"Chris said Chef randomized the matchups, but some of these feel rigged. Elsa playing the fighting game, Sua in the dance one, and now Fenton not being able to decide on what color to pick. Maybe it's just a coincidence."

Confessional – Caleb – Nutty Nachos

"I'm slowly figuring out how my new teammates work. Fenton seems to be horrible at challenges from what I've seen but looks like a great ally to have."

End Confessionals

Fenton stays frozen in place while Meredith selects the yellow button from the closest panel. The machine starts and glows up. The spinner swirls as well as the ball.

"Come on Fenton, just pick a color already," Boris told.

Fenton still does not move. The spinner slowly stops moving. The ball lands on the color yellow. Meredith celebrates.

"That was sad to watch," Buford said, looking disappointed. Tamera nods in agreement.

"Well, I'm sure Fenton just killed off some viewers," Chris said metaphorically. "Anyway, the next match is Lisa versus Smelly. If Smelly wins, the Nutty Nachos get their first victory. If Lisa wins, there will be a tiebreaker."

Garry sniffs his right armpit. "Do I really smell that bad?"

Axel and Melissa arrive back at the arcade center. Lilith and Elsa tell their teammates what has happened after they left.

Confessional – Axel – Cotton Crazies

"I knew being teammates with the Power Poppers will lead to disaster. I don't care how many lost. Tamera is gone if Lisa doesn't win. I'm making sure of it."

Confessional – Melissa – Nutty Nachos

"Have you ever found someone cute and annoying at the same time? That's Fenton summed up in three words. Cute but annoying. Seriously, freezing up again over a simple color decision? I have to talk with him after the challenge is over."

End Confessionals

Lisa and Garry are standing next to a carnival crane claw game. There are many stuff animals inside the machine. Such as stuff pink bunnies that are freaking out Lilith. There are two joysticks with a red button on them, One for the uninteresting guy and one for the poet.

"Lisa and Garry, this match requires skill and luck," Chris told the two. "One of you just has to get the prize I request out of the machine. Simply use a joystick to move the claw and press the button on it to have the crane descend and grab the prize. Then move the crane to the drop shoot so the prize can come out.

"And what is this prize you are referring to?" Lisa said deadpanned.

"The one only best player ever to participate in Total Drama, Mr. Coconut!" Chris proclaimed.

Lisa and Garry look closely to see said Mr. Coconut inside the machine in the center.

"And play!" Chris declared.

Lisa and Garry respectively pick their joystick and move their cranes to get Mr. Coconut. In this situation, both cranes move at the same speed which means their cranes collide. One of them will have to move the crane or try to go for the prize. However, that will give the other opponent a chance to strike.

Lisa does not want to self-sabotage, but wow. She really wants to get rid of Buford for eliminating Jett. She can feel her heart and brain pounding. Does she try to win or make it look like she made a mistake? She chooses the latter, pressing the button on her joystick so the claw can descend. It only grabs a bit of Mr. Coconut yet is not enough to hold him in place.

She moves the crane a bit to pretend she is going for another option. Garry takes his shot and lets his claw descend. It firmly grasps Mr. Coconut and pulls the former contestant up. Then he moves the crane so the claw can globule Mr. Coconut into the drop shoot. He is successful.

"Larry wins it for the Nutty Nachos!" Chris announced. The Nutty Nachos cheer for their teammate. Kylie and JJ hug Garry.

The host looks at the losing team. "Cotton Crazies, figure out who you're voting for tonight's calamity ceremony."

Confessional – Garry – Nutty Nachos

"They still don't remember my name, but at least I got my team the win. Second time this has happened. Didn't expect that once I got here."

End Confessional

The Nutty Nachos arrive inside the gold tent.

"Finally, back here again," Boris said joyfully. "And it only took getting competent teammates to do it."

Elsa and JJ glare at him.

"Yeah, competent," Melissa muttered. She notices Fenton beside her and quickly grabs his left arm swiftly. "We need to talk, outside," The athletic nerd whispered.

Fenton nods happily, not knowing what his teammate has in mind to conversate about. The two head outside the tent.

Caleb notices them and gets an idea in his head. "You know, I've been in this gold tent a bunch of times already, so I'll just head out and walk around." He leaves the gold tent but goes the opposite way Fenton and Melissa went.

Kylie, Elsa, Boris, JJ, and Garry sit at the table.

"Guess this is the part where we get to know more about each other," Garry told his teammates.

"Does anyone really want to know about you?" Boris rudely spoke. "Also, how can you see when your hair is covering your eyes?

Garry shrugs at that question. "I don't know either, I just do."

A scene comes with Melissa and Fenton near the bumper car ride. Both are sitting in a bench chair together.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" Fenton asked the athletic nerd.

"Your indecisiveness," Melissa stated. "Elsa told me you froze up again in your match."

"Yeah, I tend to do that," Fenton admitted sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head with his right hand.

"It is getting annoying," Melissa accidentally said. But this is how she feels. "I'm sorry for sounding harsh Fenton but you've been terrible in challenges ever since the Ringleader incident." She stands up to be in front of her teammate.

Fenton keeps eye contact with her.

"So, I want to know, why you can't make certain decisions, now," Melissa commanded.

Fenton sighs. "I was put in charge of a fundraiser at my high school, and it led to a major disaster."

Melissa waits for more details until she realizes Fenton will not talk anymore. "Wait, that's it?"

"Yeah," Fenton answered, not liking where this is going.

"You're not going to tell me more?" Melissa wondered. "I need more information than just that."

"Sorry Melissa but it's not something I want to talk about," Fenton sincerely said.

"What? Have we not bonded over these two weeks and three days?" Melissa questioned, narrowing her eyes.

"Yes, but I'm not comfortable giving more details," Fenton admitted. "Can we please change the subject?"

"How am I supposed to help if you can't say anything else?" Melissa asked perplexed.

"Stop asking me questions," Fenton said, trying not to raise his voice.

Melisssa notices the boy getting frustrated and decides to turn around. She takes a deep breath and exhales. "The only way I see you getting over this is becoming leader of the team, but I've worked too hard to make sure I stay in this position. You're cute Fenton, but it's too risky for me to have you lead."

She leaves Fenton alone and walks away, leaving the boy distraught.

Around the entrance to the roller coaster ride is Lisa standing while writing a poem in her notebook.

"Lisa, just the hot chick I was looking for," Caleb said happily while having a smirk on his face.

"You're flirting is slightly amusing," Lisa stated.

"Yeah, I forgot you're into Jett's flirting. Even though I don't if he actually did flirt with you," Caleb admitted. "Just that your crush is obvious. But that's what crushes are for, to get crushed."

Lisa snaps her pencil with just her right thumb. Then she glares at the Nutty Nacho. "What do you want Caleb?"

"I've noticed during the arcade challenge you were constantly glaring at Bo-beep," Caleb spoke. "Enlighten me on why."

"As if I'll tell you," Lisa stated and proceeds to walk away. "After what you said to me that cost me the talent show I'm done listening to you."

"Meredith and Buford are together," Caleb said, causing the poet to stop walking away. "And when I mean together, I mean as a couple. But if you tell your team that you're not going to be able to get rid of Buford or Meredith tonight."

Lisa turns around to face the handsome genius. "You're lying, why are you even telling me this? You're not even on the same team as her anymore."

"And you answered your own question," Caleb simply said, his smirk still there. "Why should I keep the bribery when is no longer useful? Just felt like you should know. Do what you want with that information."

Meredith and Buford? Together? Caleb has to be lying. But to Lisa, it feels true. Maybe it is true. The poet starts to believe what has been said to her. He took Jett away from her. What are even the chances of her and the runaway becoming a couple now?

Anger within flows through her as she leaves the scene.

"Wow, you really like to mess with the heads of others," Tamera said, shown near a carnival booth. She approaches Caleb to talk. "Axel would flip if he found out those two are together. Why only tell Lisa?"

Caleb turns around to answer the vixen. "Because Axel is not a threat. A couple is. Especially one that has Buford in it. He's the only one that can see through my trickery."

"Excuse me?" Tamera said, feeling insulted.

"No matter what happens tonight I'm sure Buford or you will be going home," Caleb said.

"What!?" Tamera exclaimed.

Caleb chuckles mischievously. "What, you thought Axel would not try to convince his new teammates to vote you off?"

Tamera's eyes widen. She completely forgot about the gentleman. Hilda cannot completely save her now.

"Lisa is also unstable now, so if she blows a fuse she also goes home. No matter what happens, another contestant bites the dust," Caleb continued. "Though, if you manage to survive tonight's elimination, we can make an alliance again. I give you info on the Nutty Nachos and you give me info on the Cotton Crazies."

Tamera slaps Caleb on his right cheek and storms off. The handsome genius laughs.

"You're lucky I still find you sort of useful."

The scene changes to Maverick outside the arcade center, sitting on the stairs alone. That is until Lilith arrives.

"Hey Mav, can we talk?" Lilith kindly asked.

The promoter taps the staircase with his right hand, indicating the goth to sit next to him. To which Lilith does.

"Remember when Buford insulted the team?" Lilith asked.

"It was only a few days ago," Maverick simply answered, knowing where her teammate is going with this. "And I also remember him only insulting you, Lisa, and Sua."

"Yeah, the ladies and I are planning to vote him off," Lilith said. "Though Sua told me she is unsure about voting him off. She said that Buford had a point. But with you voting for him he automatically loses."

Maverick sighs. "I can't vote for Bo. Nothing personal Lilith but if he goes the other girls will surely target Axel and me." Maybe not Meredith, but he was not going to tell the drummer that. "I need him to stay so I can have a better chance of reaching the merge."

Lilith listened and understood Maverick's situation. Her bubbly attitude not changing. "It does hurt you won't vote for him, but I get the reason why. This is a competition. Don't worry we're still friends. Even with our new team members, I doubt they'll enjoy my talks like you do."

Maverick shows her a genuine smile. The two hug each other for a moment.

"So, who are you voting for then?" The gothic drummer wondered.

Calamity Ceremony

It is night, and the Cotton Crazies arrive. The girls are in the top row and the boys are in the bottom row of the two-level bleacher. The team's symbol appears on the screen.

From left to right for the girls are Meredith, Hilda, Tamera, Lilith, Sua, and Lisa. From right to left for the boys are Axel, Buford, and Maverick.

Chris and Chef are standing next to two lamp posts illuminating them. Chef is holding a flat silver plate with eight popcorn bags on it.

"Cotton Crazies, welcome to your first elimination ceremony," Chris told the nine contestants.

"All of us have already been here," Lisa dryly stated. "You don't need to remind us of what to do for the twentieth time."

Chris gives her an annoyed glance before continuing to talk. "Most of you did not perform well in today's arcade challenge. Axel, you lost to a clown."

"Because Chef heated the balls," Axel countered.

"Buford lost to a gamer who is also a girl. Must be embarrassing for you," Chris continued talking.

Bo shrugs. "I was out of my element."

"Lilith, you're able to take blows but you surely blew it for your team in the deer hunting match," Chris said then chuckles at his joke. "Tamera, you let your emotions get the best of you and cost another match. While Lisa just could not crank up the win to make that tiebreaker. Is time to vote."

Confessional – Buford – Cotton Crazies

"Here's the thing. Axel approached Maverick and me on voting for Tamera. Meredith will also vote for her. However, the other girls are voting for me. Except for maybe Sua, when Maverick talked to her, she said she is unsure who to vote for. In that case, if she votes for Tamera I stay. If not, I'm out."

He rubs the back of his head with his right hand. "Geez, the previous casts made voting much easier. Probably because those were small."

End Confessional

Chris begins calling names. "The first popcorn bag goes to…"

"Hilda."

The opera singer happily catches her bag.

"Maverick, Lilith."

The two friends catch their popcorn.

"Axel."

The ruthless gentleman catches his popcorn bag proudly.

"Lisa, Sua."

Both Koreans catch their popcorn. Sua looks nervous, unsure of who she voted for should leave the game.

"Players, there are only two popcorn bags on this plate," Chris reminded Buford, Meredith, and Tamera. "The next goes to…"

"Buford."

Bo catches his popcorn while being surprised he is not in the bottom two. Lilith, Hilda, and Tamera gasp with confusion.

"How is that possible? All of us girls voted for him," Lilith told the host.

"Hey, I tallied the votes," Chris answered. "Anyway, Tamera and Meredith. The final popcorn bag goes to…"

Both girls look anxious about who is staying while Axel smirks triumphantly.

"Tamera."

"What!?" Maverick, Buford, and Axel exclaimed in shock as the vixen catches her bag.

"Wow, I… actually think I should be going home," Tamera admitted. "But I'm not complaining. Thank you, gals."

Meredith is shocked by what just happened and is unable to move. Axel stands up and goes to talk with Chris.

"With all due respect sir, but clearly something wrong happened here," The gentleman spoke kindly, not wanting to make a fuss. "The boys, some girls, and I voted for Tamera."

"No way, Buford should be going home," Lilith exclaimed. She looks at Sua. "You did vote for him, right?"

"당신이 나쁜 생각이 될 것입니다 말하는," Sua spoke to the goth in Korean.

Chris notices Meredith is not moving so he signals Chef to carry her. The cook takes the historian over his left muscular shoulder.

"Let's go kid, you're done in the game," Chef told the historian.

"Wait!" Buford stopped the cook from leaving. "Put her down. I need to talk with her."

Meredith snaps out of her trance hearing her boyfriend's voice. "Bo?"

Chef puts her down so the couple can say their goodbyes.

"This sucks, I know something went wrong in the voting process," Buford told his girlfriend. "I didn't expect us to be separated so soon."

"Me either, I thought we were doing well keeping it a secret," Meredith said.

"What secret?" Hilda wondered.

"Meredith and Bo got together," Maverick revealed. No point in hiding it now that the historian is voted out.

"What!?" Axel exclaimed in surprise. "So that's why she has been leaving the team every morning!"

"Axel, please don't start. Let them have their moment," Hilda scolded the gentleman.

Axel sighs and boils his fists. "I'm heading to the showers." He leaves the ceremony.

Bo and Meredith continue to conversate.

"I didn't think I'll be targeted," Meredith admitted.

"Me either, but, ugh," Buford groaned. "I wish we could go farther. Be that couple that advance far you know what I mean?"

"I would have liked that too," The historian agreed. She gives a quick kiss on her boyfriend's lips. "I'll be rooting for you Bo." She waves to Hilda for goodbye and the opera singer waves back. Then she walks with Chef to the entrance of the carnival to head to the lame-o-sine.

Buford watches her leave, distraught about what just happened. He just got into a relationship with her, and she is gone. Maverick walks to the sad dude and puts his left hand on his back.

"Hey man, let's go get some shut-eye. She will want you to be well-rested," Maverick suggested.

The two leave the ceremony. All the other females minus Lisa leave as well, trying to figure out how their plan failed. The camera zooms in on Lisa.

"So, Caleb was right," Lisa realized, then grins deviously. "Perfect."

FLASHBACK

Confessional – Lisa – Cotton Crazies

The poet has a wooden box with a lock on it on her legs. She takes a bobby pin out from inside her beret and sticks it into the lock to open the box.

"You think you are so clever voting out Jett."

She takes small rectangular pieces of paper out of the box with her left hand.

"That is a decision you are going to regret."

She then takes small pieces of paper out from inside her beret with her right hand.

"I am not going down without a fight."

She puts the papers that she has in her right hand into the wooden box.

"Let's see how you look like when someone messes with your love life."

End Confessional

END FLASHBACK

Chris and Chef are watching the flashback footage from the security room.

"Ah crud," The host said, starting to get nervous. "Chef quickly, call the producers. We need to secure what just happened doesn't get us a lawsuit."

Chef quickly leaves out of the shot to get a phone.

"And I better get a reason from those interns as to why the machines today didn't produce tickets," The host exclaimed. He looks at the camera to end the episode. "Well, seems like there were some technical difficulties today including a spiteful poet." He chuckles apprehensively.

"How will Buford deal with his girlfriend now gone from the game? What chemistry will the Nutty Nachos have in the next challenge? As well as the Cotton Crazies? Find out next time on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"

Inside the lame-o-sine, Meredith is staring out the window.

"Five million dollars would have been nice, but I'm still happy," The historian admitted. "I made new friends, got delicious free food, a boyfriend, and shared knowledge of historical facts that I know."

"Glad to see you're looking at the glass half full," Rosalina the limo driver spoke. "You're going to need it in the aftermath."

Meredith gasps joyfully. "That's great, maybe I can find out how I got eliminated in the first place. By the way, can we stop at a fast-food place somewhere I'm hungry."

Korean Translation

당신이 나쁜 생각이 될 것입니다 말하는 - Telling you will be a bad idea

Author's Note: There is a lot to explain this time around. First, the teams turn into two. I always planned to have two teams at this point, since the next challenges while still can be for three, two is much more sufficient. That is how I planned it. The difficult part was deciding which team to split. Doing the Sleek Slushies I believe works the best. The Power Poppers and Fried Freaks have a lot of dynamics that if I separate them those plots will fade. Unlike Axel, who while loses an interaction with Caleb still has Tamera and Hilda, which is why those three plus Meredith went into the Cotton Crazies. I will discuss the historian further down.

Why did Garry, Caleb, and Kylie go with the Fried Freaks that are now the Nutty Nachos? Well, cannot spoil too much, but at least for Garry it is because being in the Cotton Crazies will obligate him to get in the drama. He is not the type of guy for that. Besides, Axel fits better there.

Okay, team discussion ends. Now for the eliminated contestant Meredith. I truly like writing this romantic historian. From her easily getting flustered, providing historical facts, and her not-so-secret alliance with Lucy, this girl is fun to write. However, ever since she made that deal with Lucy, it was only a matter of time before she was sent packing and wanted to have Lucy do her own detective by herself now. Though, Meredith's elimination is probably not the way most thought it would go down.

That is where her setup of elimination comes down to. Truth be told, I was planning to have her alliance with Lucy be revealed, which will cost her downfall. However, there is this one person that just made it kind of hard to do it. Axel is a guy that has already been shown to get heated when it comes to certain stuff. Whoever found out and tells the Cotton Crazies, Axel was going to flip. Which can lead him to be eliminated, since most of the team (even Hilda at this point) would not want to deal with his aggressiveness.

Lisa getting rid of Meredith makes sense. She wants revenge and did what she did out of spite.

This has been a long note. At least for me as I type this. Also, the next episode will be the first aftermath. The first six eliminated contestants will be getting an interview. After that chapter, the next ones will continue on with the remaining sixteen.

Shout-outs go to LittleRedline for coming up with the team name Cotton Crazies who also gave the carousel idea to select which Slushies go to a team and Epifanio Therion, who thought of the crane machine challenge. While is not exactly what it originally is, still thought it was a neat idea.

That is about it for the author's note. Thanks to everyone who continues to review the story. The last chapter of this story passed over one hundred reviews, yah!
