Cotton Crazies: Buford, Maverick, Axel, Sua, Lisa, Lilith, and Tamera

Nutty Nachos: Boris, Fenton, Caleb, Garry, Melissa, JJ, Elsa, and Kylie

Flashbacks of the previous episode occur. "Last time on Total Drama Carnival Calamity," Chris said as he begins narrating. "The two teams had to race through three mazes to win the challenge. Sua got hurt, Maverick took charge, Boris got lazy, and deals were made along the way."

"In the end, Tamera made a deal with Buford and Lisa to get rid of Hilda who she found annoying. Not the best play but hey, it was surely entertaining."

The flashbacks end. Chris is shown in front of a haunted house attraction. The house looks old, abandoned, and dilapidated. It desperately needed a new paint job. But it is supposed to look like that because it's an attraction.

"Fifteen contestants remain," The host told the audience. "Which of them will be spooked out of the competition? Find out now on Total… Drama… Carnival… Calamity!"

The episode starts with the Cotton Crazies at the brown tent. Their breakfast has already been served. Which like always for the losers is gruel. The team symbol appears on the screen. The food is bad, and tensions are high. Some of them are in their third loss while others two. Not to mention almost the entire team dislikes each other. Luckily, they all are eating quietly. However, that noiselessness will not last forever.

Lilith notices Tamera has not touched her meal at all.

"Hey Tamera, you're feeling okay?" The goth asked the vixen.

Tamera looks at her and everyone on the team notices her regretful face.

"What's this? Do I see a glimmer of remorse?" Axel wondered looking at Tamera. "Or are you just faking it to get sympathy points?"

Tamera winces at the comment the ruthless gentleman gave her. She rubs her right shoulder with her left hand. "Okay, I deserve that. But I am sorry for eliminating your friend."

"Sorry!?" Axel exclaimed. "You think sorry is going to bring back Hilda into the game?"

"I… I'll make it up to you I swear," Tamera spoke, for probably the first time feeling guilty. "She is also a friend of mine…"

"I don't want to hear your pity," Axel interrupted and proceeds to eat his meal.

"Since we're letting out our emotions," Buford told his team then looks at Lisa. "How long until you start losing your sanity with Jett gone for so long?"

Lisa scoffs at Bo. "Who do you think I am Sierra? Just because he's not here doesn't mean I can't make my own decisions."

"How many poems have you written about Jett since he left?" Buford question with a smirk.

"More than you will ever write for Meredith," Lisa snarked.

Buford scowls at her. "Why you little…"

"Whoa, let's just settle down," Lilith told the two calmy.

"No please continue," Sua insisted. "This is fun to watch."

"Girl is starting to speak my language," Tamera chimed in, smiling again.

"Of course, you will enjoy the drama of others," Axel added.

"Was that sarcasm?" Lilith wondered.

All of a sudden, the Cotton Crazies start to dispute with each other, talking at the same time besides Maverick. The alpha promoter gets annoyed by so much noise. He uses the spoon in his right hand to scratch the table slowly. The noise pierces his teammates' ears. This stops the squabbling.

"Look, I get it. Almost all of you don't like each other," Maverick told his team determinedly. "But you're blinded so much you're not looking at what is going on. More than half of us have been stuck in this tent for more than a week. What, you want to miss out on the merge? Because I'm sure the Nachos are doing far better at working as a team."

Axel tries to interject. "Yeah, but…"

"No, I'm not telling you all to cuddle up and be friends. But if any of us wants to win the five million dollars we have to work together as a team, got it?" Maverick told his team.

His team looks at him then at each other with mixed reactions. Maybe they should start acting like a team.

Confessional – Maverick – Cotton Crazies

"Okay, what I did say may felt harsh, but come on. Half the team and I are already in our third loss. This keeps going on and only two or three of us will make the merge." The promoter adjusts his glasses a bit. "I've had to deal with plenty of people who have different mindsets when it comes to promoting stuff, but I have to shut those ideas down so the whole squad can actually put in work."

Confessional – Axel – Cotton Crazies

"Working with Tamera?" He wondered dumbfounded. "I rather work with Knick. I least he doesn't hide his goals like he used to."

Confessional – Lisa – Cotton Crazies

"Maverick has a point. Even when Buford goes home I rather this team does not lose too many challenges. I also want to win."

Confessional – Buford – Cotton Crazies

"I'm all cool working as a team as long they put effort. Ain't having any slackers on my team that's for sure."

Confessional – Tamera – Cotton Crazies

She has her left hand on her forehead and right hand on her stomach. "Okay, I do feel guilty for voting off Hilda. I know this is a competition but ugh, that hug was so great," She takes her hands off her body and sighs.

"I haven't felt a hug like that for so long. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I really messed up. I want to at least make amends with Axel since he is friends with Hilda. How to do that I don't know."

She ponders a bit more.

"I also have that deal between Buford and Lisa. Dang it, why do I keep putting myself in terrible positions?"

End Confessionals

The Nutty Nachos are inside the gold tent except for Fenton, Melissa, and Kylie. Breakfast for them is tasty omelets with a glass of milk and water.

"You know," Caleb said as he cuts pieces of his omelet. "Melissa has done pretty well as the leader of this team."

"I guess," Garry admitted, not too sure if he agrees with his alliance member.

"You're joking right?" Boris inquired from the handsome genius.

"Well, ever since the team split, we won twice in a row," Caleb defended his statement.

"Honestly, these have been based on luck," Elsa countered. "Picking a path in a maze, me somehow getting the fighting video game in the arcade."

"Luck is a skill," Boris told the gamer. "And Melissa has been a terrible leader. She lost the basketball game to Maverick and ditched the team during the first maze."

"For good reason," Garry muttered quietly.

"Well, what if we get rid of her?" Caleb put the idea in mind. "If we believe she's not good as a leader, why not have her out?"

Elsa and Boris seem to like that idea. However, Garry and JJ do not seem convinced.

Confessional – Caleb – Nutty Nachos

"Boris hates Melissa and she's a threat, which means Boris will be keener on sticking with me until I find him disposable. I'm practically safe from leaving in case the team starts going onto a losing streak. But, with how the Cotton Crazies are, I doubt they'll perform well." He ends the confessional with a satisfied smirk.

Confessional – Boris – Nutty Nachos

"I know what Caleb is trying to do. He knows about my beef with Melissa, but is flat out telling almost the whole team to vote her off if we lose? Not sure about that play."

Confessional – Garry – Nutty Nachos

"Caleb still remembers the deal we made, right?" He looks unsure. "Right?"

Confessional – JJ – Nutty Nachos

The clown looks nervous. Caleb wants to get rid of her friend, but how is she going to warn Melissa?

End Confessional

Speaking of the athletic nerd, she and Fenton are right now at one of the bridges of the Gator Swamp Chomp attraction having their date. They are sitting on top of a tablecloth with red and white squares on the bridge. Between the two is a picnic basket where food is stored such as sandwiches and fruit. Melissa takes out two plates from the basket. She puts one near her and Fenton.

Fenton admits he is quite enjoying himself at the moment. He can see Melissa's big smile. He has never seen her smile so much before. Maybe this will not be so bad after all.

"Okay, let's work on your decision-making a bit," Melissa told her crush. She takes out two six-inch-long sandwiches. "Which of these would you like? Salami or fish?"

Fenton gazes at the two sandwiches. "Um… salami. No, wait, fish. But what if there is more salami than fish? Which one will make me full? Fish, or salami?"

Melissa sighs and passes him the sandwich containing fish. "We really need to work on that."

Both take a bite at the same time and swallow their piece.

"So, why did you want to go on a date with me?" Melissa asked.

"Uh…." Fenton freezes up. Is it really the perfect time to tell her the truth? He does not want to lie. "I was interested to see how this will go." Perfect, he is only telling part of the whole story to her.

Melissa inches a bit closer to him and rubs his hair. "You sure there isn't more to it?" She giggles and blushes.

"Um, I don't think we're in that phase yet," Fenton admitted, starting to sweat. Is he starting to regret this decision?

Suddenly, Kylie appears behind Melissa with a cheeky smile. "Hey, you two, what's happening here?" She immediately sits down next to them. She seems to mean well.

"We're on a date Kylie," Melissa answered the cheerleader, narrowing her eyes at her teammate.

"Oh, a date," Kylie said joyfully. She takes a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich from the basket and starts eating it. "I've dated before. Hard to stay with one person though."

Fenton notices the glare Melissa is giving the brunette.

"Kylie, since you know what a date is then you'll know we need privacy," Melissa said while pinching her nose.

"For sure, I completely understand," Kylie assured. "You two can keep talking. Just pretend I don't exist."

Melissa looks at Fenton who shrugs. She sighs. "All right, so Fenton…"

The two can hear Kylie eating her sandwich loudly. Is like she is doing this on purpose. Melissa keeps trying to talk with her date, but the chewing is annoying her. The athletic nerd stands up annoyed.

"Ugh, let's do this again after the challenge Fenton," Melissa declared, no longer in the mood. "And next time I'll make sure we head to a farther location." She leaves Fenton and Kylie alone.

Fenton looks at the cheerleader confused. "What was that for?"

"Sorry," Kylie quickly apologized. "I'm trying to save you two the trouble."

"Trouble?" Fenton inquired to know.

"You two dating," Kylie answered.

"How is that trouble?" Fenton questioned.

"Because if our teammates see you together, they might vote off one of you," Kylie replied. "Trust me, I'm saving both of you."

"But why?" Fenton asked.

"Because once Meredith and Buford started dating Merry got voted off somehow," Kylie told him. "I'm worried you and Melissa will end up in a similar fate."

"Oh," Was the only word that escaped Fenton's mouth. "Well… thanks for trying to prevent that, but what you're doing might be short-term."

"Is all I can think of at the moment," Kylie acknowledged before taking another bite out of her sandwich. "By the way, do you like Melissa, or is this a testing the waters kind of thing?"

Fenton responds to her after taking a bite of his meal. "Testing the waters. I'm willing to give it a try but right now not too sure."

Kylie notices his undecisive facial expression. There is more to it than that. "I've seen that expression before. You're not giving me the full details, are you?"

Fenton has been caught. Might as well tell the truth. "I… kind of went on this date to see if she can let me lead during today's challenge."

Kylie's eyes widen with shock and joyfulness. She drops her sandwich on the cloth. "Oh my gosh, that sounds like manipulation."

Fenton raises his hands in defense and gets nervous. "Is not like that. I really do want to try and get into a relationship with her."

"Someone is in denial," Kylie said in a sing-song voice. She then notices her teammate's sad expression. She puts her left hand on his right shoulder. "Hey, if you really feel like getting together with Melissa, that's fine. However, make sure to do these dates quickly and far away from everyone else."

Fenton smiles at the cheerleader. "Thanks Kylie."

The speakers throughout the carnival turn on. "Attention teams, meet me at the entrance to the haunted house attraction in thirty minutes. That is all."

Confessional – Kylie – Nutty Nachos

"Okay, it looks like I interrupted their date out of jealously, but I swear is not like that." The cheerleader guaranteed the audience. "I told Fenton the truth. I don't want him and Melissa to end up separated so soon because of the competition."

Confessional – Lilith – Cotton Crazies

"Did Chris say haunted house attraction?" The drummer said excitedly. She squeals contently. "I was hoping there was a place like that here at this carnival. My bandmates are going to be so jealous."

Confessional – Maverick – Cotton Crazies

"Haunted house? Awesome!" The promoter exclaimed ecstatically. "That's what I've been preparing with my friends for a while now and the reason I signed up for this show to collect some funds. With the knowledge I have on how these houses work my team might be able to pull off a win."

Confessional – Boris – Nutty Nachos

He does not look happy. "Of all the places you can do a challenge in this carnival Chris, you had to pick the dusty terrible one?"

End Confessionals

The two teams, Chris, and Chef are at the entrance of the haunted house attraction. Now more zoom out, there are trees next to the place without leaves. Also, lightning strikes the house even though it is daytime and not a cloud in sight. Each team symbol appears on the screen.

The lightning scarred Fenton who begins shivering. Melissa tries to cuddle him to feel safe but Kylie 'accidentally' bumps into her. The athletic nerd groans.

"This looks like a place you and Meredith will live in," Lisa snarked at Buford.

"Oh, on the contrary, this seems more fitting for you and Jett considering how you both like trash," Bo retorted to the poet.

"It's so beautiful," Lilith said in awe, confusing her teammates except for Sua and Maverick.

"Wood looks like it can break at any moment, dusty windows unable to see inside, cobwebs all over, and having a 1990s look to it," Maverick spoke as he observed the attraction in awe as well. "This is a solid haunted house. Though I think there aren't many technological advances here."

"Weirdos," Buford said quietly so no can hear him.

"Welcome teams to Carner's Haunted House of Happiness," Chris told the competitors.

"There's nothing happy about this place," Boris stated.

"There's plenty of happiness in there," Lilith told the rich kid. "Like…"

"Did I ask for your opinion?" Boris interrupted the goth.

Lilith crosses her arms and looks away from the blonde.

"Settle down," Chris told the goth and rich kid. "Save the drama during the challenges. Speaking of challenges, today we're having three."

Almost every single contestant groans at this.

"Oh, quit your whining," The host told them. "All of you have done three challenges in a day before."

"Chris, I have a question," Maverick politely spoke.

"What is it dude?" Chris wondered.

"Wouldn't this place be better for a night challenge?" Maverick asked.

"By the time we're done with the first challenge it will already be night," Chris informed. He and Chef chuckle.

"And what is the first challenge?" Tamera inquired to know.

"See those two doors?" Chris told the cast as he points at two doors of the haunted house. One is blue while one is yellow. Both have four-by-four tile slide puzzles on them.

"Those doors weren't there before," Axel pointed out.

"That's because Chef and I were in front of them," Chris told the gentleman. "Anyway, each door is color-coded to a team. To unlock the door to enter the haunted house, one must complete the puzzle."

"Just one?" Elsa wondered.

"You all can team up on this," Chef told the gamer. "But if you don't want a hassle let one teammate solve it."

Chris nods, agreeing with the cook. "First team to get into the haunted house wins the first challenge."

"Does the team get an advantage for the next challenge?" Melissa asked.

"Nope," Chris replied happily.

"Then my team is not doing the challenge," Melissa stated. "There's no point in playing if there is no advantage."

"Um… okay," Chris said slowly. What is going on? "Then the Cotton Crazies will solve their puzzle."

"Actually Chris, I agree with my opponent," Maverick told the host. He glares at Melissa before looking at McLean again. "What's the point of solving the puzzle if we don't get a reward for it?"

Chris can hear the other contestants murmur at each other. Both leaders have a point.

"You'll have to give them something," Chef told his co-host.

"I know that," Chris realized. He takes out his megaphone to get everyone's attention. Chef puts his hands on his ears. "Okay everyone, since Melissa and Maverick made a great point, this first challenge and the second one will be rewarded by tickets to purchase items at the Bargaby Bludiddle Hut." He stops talking through the megaphone.

Each contestant rubs their ears from the loud noise.

"You could have told us that normally," Lisa stated.

"Nah, wanted to see a little bit of pain," Chris said joyfully. "Get solving."

Confessional – Boris – Nutty Nachos

"Now this is a challenge of my taste. I enjoy solving puzzles whether they be crosswords, sliders, or trivia. This will be easy."

End Confessional

As soon as Chris and Chef sit on beach chairs to watch the cast, both teams huddle together.

"I will be doing the slider puzzle," Boris told his teammates. This shocks his team.

"Wait, you are actually volunteering?" Elsa said dumbfounded.

"I never thought I'll be able to witness this next to you," Garry said.

JJ uses her clown horn to agree with Garry.

"Ha, ha, very funny," Boris said sarcastically. "I'm doing the puzzle piece. No objections."

"Fine by me," Melissa agreed with the blonde for once. "But if you're still solving it for ten minutes, I'll switch you with someone else."

"Please save the flattery, I'll be done in less than five," Boris rudely replied.

With the Cotton Crazies, they are about to finish picking their puzzle solver.

"We all agree that Maverick will solve the puzzle?" Lilith asked her team to have a full settlement.

"I don't trust anybody else to do it," Buford truthfully spoke.

"Not even yourself?" Lisa wondered. "Talk about low self-esteem."

"Girl, my self-esteem is higher than the Niagara Falls," Bo responded. "But I know what I can and can't do."

"I believe that's your cue to go and solve the puzzle," Axel told Maverick.

"Right," Maverick nodded. "None of you start fighting. I need to concentrate." He goes up to the haunted house and greets Boris.

The two guys begin solving the puzzle entrance.

"May the best solver win," Maverick happily said.

"Which will be me obviously," Boris snorted.

Confessional – Maverick – Cotton Crazies

"Is everyone a jerk on that team?" He wondered, referring to the Nutty Nachos.

End Confessional

Speaking of the Nachos, the team is sitting on the ground waiting for Boris to solve the puzzle. JJ gives sign language to Melissa.

"JJ we've been over this. I don't what you are trying to tell me," Melissa confessed. "I haven't been able to study the American Sign Language notes you gave me."

"I wonder why?" Caleb inquired to know, smirking.

"Been busy leading the team," Melissa defended.

"What about our free days?" Elsa wondered.

"That's when I study them from time to time," Melissa answered the gamer.

"I wonder how many tickets we'll get if Boris opens the door first," Garry said, trying to start a different conversation.

"Who knows, I almost forgot the ticket hut existed," Kylie told the uninteresting dude.

"Whoa, you're actually talking to me," Garry said surprised.

"Well yeah, you're my teammate Franklin," Kylie assured, not knowing the dude's name.

JJ pokes on Fenton's left shoulder for him to pay attention to her. She points at Caleb in a way the handsome genius does not get suspicious. Then she extends her hands and brings them closer to her. Next, she points at Melissa carefully. Lastly, she puts her right hand a bit above her chest and left hand as if she is going to rub her tummy. She pulls her right hand down and connects her fingertips at the end.

'Caleb wants Melissa gone' Is what the subtitles say on the screen.

"What did she tell you Fenton?" Melissa wanted to know. The competent sidekick notices her sweet genuine smile.

"Um… nothing important," Fenton told the athletic nerd, smiling himself to make sure Melissa does not get suspicious.

"Ah, just between you two. I get that," Melissa understood. She then whispers to him. "Hopefully Kylie doesn't butt in."

Fenton forcefully laughs. JJ raises her left eyebrow at him. Why did he not tell Melissa that Caleb wants her gone?

Meanwhile, the Cotton Crazies are sitting on the ground as well as playing a card game. Each card has a different total drama cast member from Revenge of the Island. Each Cotton Crazy has five cards in their hand.

"You got any Camerons?" Lilith asked Tamera.

"Goldfish," The vixen told the goth. The drummer takes a card from the deck.

"I bet you have that card but refuse to give it away like the cheater you are," Axel said bitterly.

Tamera gasps at the accusation. "Hey, I'll never cheat a game. Sabotage yes, but I wouldn't stoop that low."

"Cheat and sabotage are practically the same things," Axel said.

"There's a big difference between those two," Lilith pointed out.

"Yeah," Buford agreed with the goth. "Why don't you tell them how big the difference is Lisa?"

The poet's teammates look at her except Maverick because he is still solving the puzzle.

"About what?" Lisa asked, trying to play dumb.

"Oh, you know about cheating. Rigging any bells lately?" Buford asked the poet.

"Bells?" Lilith wondered perplexed.

"Rigging?" Axel pondered, narrowing his eyes at the poet.

"You want me to say it, or would you like to explain in a poem?" Buford told Lisa while smirking.

Lisa scowls at him. "Fine, I rigged the votes to get rid of Buford's dumb girlfriend."

Axel, Tamera, and Lilith gasps. Sua shrugs, she does not seem to mind that revelation.

"She's not dumb," Buford told the poet, defending her girlfriend.

"Well, she's blonde so," Lisa retorted triumphantly.

"News flash, Jett is also blonde," Buford stated.

Lisa's successful smile fades away. "Well, his hair is more blonde and shinier, and silkier, and…"

"Before you start talking about other certain areas," Tamera interrupted. "You rigged Meredith out of the game."

"I was doing us a favor. Chris told me Meredith was in a secret alliance with Lucy," Lisa explained her reasoning even though that was a lie. She wanted the historian gone to make Bo feel miserable, but she was not going to admit that.

Lilith, Axel, and Tamera gasp again. Sua rolls her eyes this time.

"They were just trading food for historical facts," Buford defended his girlfriend.

"Oh, so you knew about it then," Lilith realized.

"Shit," Buford cursed.

Confessional – Buford – Cotton Crazies

"Ugh, now I'm back as target number one again. Dammit, how am I going to convince everyone that Lisa did it out of spite? No one, because the only people that would listen to would be Maverick since Axel is a crybaby when it comes to playing the game."

Confessional – Axel – Cotton Crazies

"Has everybody sabotaged or cheated the game already? This cast feels like the opposite of the first generation. Where's an Owen when you need one?"

End Confessionals

Boris finishes solving the puzzle for the yellow door, and it opens. "Ha, I knew I'll be able to solve faster than you."

Maverick just mumbles some words while still solving his. Boris turns around to face his team.

"Listen up everyone, your best player has finished the challenge all by himself," The rich kid exclaimed.

Suddenly, two hands pop out of the door and drag Boris into the haunted house.

"Boris!" Elsa and Fenton shouted at the same time. The two and JJ run up the entrance stairs before looking back to see the rest of their team not running.

"Do we have to?" Melissa asked.

Elsa gives a disproval look before she, Fenton, and JJ enter the house. Maverick finishes his door.

"Awesome," The alpha exclaimed. A hand grabs his shirt. "Not awesome." The hand pulls him into the house.

Lilith sees this and gasps. "Guys, someone just took Maverick into the house. We have to save him."

"You got any Bricks?" Tamera asked Lisa.

"Ugh!" Lilith groaned. She leaves her team to rescue her friend. Noticing her desperate behavior, the rest of the team follows her.

Everyone is now inside the haunted house, but it is too dark to see anything.

"Someone, find and turn on a light switch," Axel told everybody.

Somebody turns on the light switch next to the yellow door. This was JJ. Thanks to her, the main room of the haunted house has light. However, they keep flickering constantly. Upon walking into the center of the first floor, they have a good glimpse of their surroundings.

There is dust, cobwebs, spiders, broken furniture, and peeling wallpaper. But that is not all. There is also broken glass on the floor, cockroaches, floorboard gaps, and a gloomy staircase. Some old portraits are in the ground. Most likely being related to the owner and members who ran this carnival. Lastly, two sofas are covered in various sheets near the living room up ahead.

"This feels like home," Lilith spoke, loving the décor. "Well, my home is massively different."

"This place is already giving me creeps," Tamera confessed as she crosses her arms. Everyone feels a cold drift coming from who knows where.

"First time agreeing with you," Axel stated.

"Man, why did Chris have to make a challenge in here?" Buford wondered.

"What? Afraid you'll be the next getting captured?" Lisa mocked. "Is it because you're…"

"Don't you go there," Buford said.

"A jock?" Lisa finished her question.

Several people chuckle as Bo looks stupid for assuming. Their chuckles are cut off short when the lights of the first-floor living room where the sofas are covered in sheets are turned on.

"Did anyone touch a switch?" Kylie asked everybody and is met with several nos.

The lights from the living room turn off then back on again. This time revealing two people. One is Georgia, one of the hosts of the aftermath.

The other one is male. He has dirty blonde hair that looks like a mullet. His eyes are blue and he has a nice tan from being in the sun for a lot of time. He has a few front crooked teeth and is five feet and eleven inches. He has an excellent body for lifting and pulling stuff. He wears an unbuttoned red flannel shirt over a white shirt, ripped blue skinny jeans, a brown leather belt, and worn-down brown boots. Some parts of the shirt and pants are covered in motor oil stains.

"We were expecting you to come," Georgia and the guy said at the same time to provide a creepy atmosphere.

This scares practically everyone minus Lilith.

"Let's pla…"

"Okay no, I cannot do this," The male told Georgia. "This talking at the same time is creeping me out and giving my breadbasket the butterflies."

"Ugh, seriously Buck. We rehearsed this for two hours," Georgia told the guy now known as Buck.

"Yeah, I know. I like to pull out a jack in the box, but this is beyond my comfort zone," Buck told the actress, holding his stomach a bit.

"Georgia and Buck?" Kylie wondered if it was really those two Back to the Island cast members.

"That's right!" Chris confirmed, he and Chef were behind the contestants. All of them jump out of fear. The two hosts laugh. "That was funny. Now, you all already met both cameos for this challenge, Georgia and Buck."

Both cameos wave at the contestants.

"Alright you two you had your fun, get out of here," Chris told the two.

"Wait, what about Maverick and Boris?" Elsa asked with concern.

At that moment Maverick gets out from the sofa on the cast's left, taking out the sheets in the process.

"Sorry team," Maverick apologized. "But Georgia told me what she and Buck were going to do, and I wanted to see how it would go."

"Tremendous!" Lilith exclaimed joyfully. The rest of Maverick's teammates do not like the fact he kept quiet.

"And Boris?" Fenton wondered.

"Critter didn't want to keep quiet," Buck answered him as he grabs the right sofa's sheets. "So…" he lifts the sheets off.

Behold, Boris tied up in rope and a handkerchief around his mouth. He is muffling words that no one can comprehend. Most of his teammates smirk at him except for Fenton.

Buck and Georgia leave the haunted house as instructed by Chris. Elsa and Fenton help free Boris. Chris and Chef get in front of the teams. Each symbol appears on the screen.

"Teams, get ready for today's challenge," Chris announced.

"Hey Chris, our tickets?" Melissa reminded.

"Tickets will be after the challenges are over," Chris told her. "Anyway, you all might be wondering what these sofas have to do with the challenge."

"Not really," Lisa stated uncaringly.

"Well then shut up and pay attention," Chris told the poet with an annoyed glare. He then continues to explain the second challenge. "Anyone remembers the horror movie theme episode from Total Drama Action?"

Buford, Maverick, Axel, Lilith, Caleb, Melissa, and Kylie raise their hands.

"Seven out of fifteen. Good, means I don't have to explain too much," Chris happily said. "This second challenge will be a reenactment of the scare-o-meter. Meaning, each team will select their scarer to scare two teammates that will be on this couch acting as the lovey-dovey couple that dies fast. The couple will be reading a script or do improve."

He looks at the uncomfortable faces of some teens. "Oh, and the acting has to kiss on the lips at least once or no dice."

"You can't force us to kiss when we don't want to," Axel told the host.

"Yes I can because all of you signed a contract," Chris countered. "Each team has five minutes to decide who will be the acting couple and scarer. The rest of the team will be outside the haunted house watching the action through a TV screen."

A new scene emerges with the Cotton Crazies still inside the spooky house. The team's symbol appears on the screen.

"Okay team, who wants to be the scarer?" Maverick confidently asked.

"Wouldn't it be better to decide who will work better as the scarer?" Axel questioned.

Before the alpha promoter can answer him, Sua smiles wickedly. She shows her white teeth in the process.

"I will love to be the scarer to help my wonderful team," Sua stated with an ominous tone. This freaks out a bit her team, even Lilith.

"Great!" Maverick exclaimed happily. "Sua will be the scarer."

"Thank you Maverick," Sua expressed gratitude.

"So who's doing the kissing scene?" Axel wondered. "I would offer if only a lady wants to kiss me. Except for Tamera."

The vixen scoffs. "As if I would want to put my lips on yours. Why not Lisa and Buford? They seem attracted to each other."

"I know you're messing with us but that's still disgusting," Buford told Tamera.

"Yeah, I like Jett so that's not happening," Lisa agreed with her rival.

"What about you Lilith?" Maverick offered.

"Sorry, but I don't want to kiss guys," Lilith kindly answered. She notices the perplexed looks her team is giving. "Because I'm… not ready to do that yet."

"Okay, let's settle it like this. Who here doesn't want to do the scene, raise their right hand," Maverick decisively spoke.

Buford, Lisa, Lilith, and Axel raise their hands. Sua does not raise hers because she is already going to be the scarer. Maverick and Tamera look at each other.

"You're willing to do the scene with me?" Maverick wondered.

"None of these chickens are going to do it," Tamera insulted her teammates. "I also acted in a few theater plays, so I can really seal the deal. Question though, what do you do for a living?"

"I promote a haunted house, parties, events, and that one time at a car retailer," Maverick replied, proud of his accomplishments.

"Nice resumé, I believe we can…" Tamera puts her left hand on the alpha's right cheek. "Make this work." Maverick smiles, either content with helping his team or getting a kiss from the vixen. Maybe even both.

Confessional – Tamera – Cotton Crazies

"I'm also doing the scene because I need to make my team believe I'm a player to keep. Plus, the more I stay the more I can make amends with Axel. Or at least try. Is what Hilda would probably want."

End Confessional

The Nutty Nachos are now deciding. Well, Melissa already has made her decisions as a leader.

"Okay team, the acting couple will officially be Fenton and me," Melissa told her team joyfully. She has been waiting for this moment.

Kylie knows where this will go and wants to stop it immediately. "Actually, I think Boris and Elsa will be better for the scene."

Everyone looks at her as if she is crazy. Elsa is doing her best not to squeal blissfully.

"Yeah, no," Melissa shut the idea down. "I'm the leader, remember?"

"Sorry for sounding rude, but don't we live in a democracy?" Kylie reminded. "I say the team should vote on who will be the acting couple."

"Sounds like a great idea," Elsa agreed instantly.

"Voting as a team? I'm finally useful," Garry exclaimed.

"Fine, those who want Boris and Elsa to act in the scene raise their hand," Melissa said, not liking the idea, but she does not want to look bad in front of her team.

Caleb, Elsa, Kylie, and Garry raise their hands. Then Boris raises his hand which surprises his teammates.

"I'm only accepting this to let you all know who really carries this team besides JJ," Boris declared.

"Then who will be the scarer?" Fenton wondered.

"I'll do it," Melissa insisted. "And there will be no objections." She narrows her eyes at Kylie.

Confessional – Melissa – Nutty Nachos

She looks rather troubled. "Seriously, what is Kylie's deal? First, she ruins my date with Fenton and now she is preventing me from kissing him. If this is some kind of twisted joke from her it's not funny."

Confessional – Elsa – Nutty Nachos

"Oh my gosh, this is actually happening soon." She sighs sadly. "If only I spent more time on playing dating simulator games to know where to go from here."

Confessional – Boris – Nutty Nachos

"Did I want to do the scene to kiss Elsa? Of course not you moron don't be ridiculous. I'm simply doing it to gain extra credit. Even if my disastrous team somehow loses the final challenge, they won't give rid of me because of my glorious usefulness today."

End Confessionals

All contestants minus the ones participating in the challenge are outside the haunted house. There are two television screens, each one on top of a small brown table. Cotton Crazies are looking at the left while the Nutty Nachos are looking at the right.

"Okay people, Chef is making sure everything turns out right inside the house," Chris informed, outside with the competitors. "Maverick, Tamera, and Sua will be up first."

The host turns on the left TV so Axel, Buford, Lisa, and Lilith can watch.

Maverick and Tamera are shown sitting on one of the couches reading a script.

"This sounds cheesy," Maverick told the vixen, finishing his read. "And not the good kind of cheese."

"Yeah, it's like Chris wrote this awful script," Tamera insulted the host. "You think he'll hire previous contestants that know good writing for this."

The competitors outside the house laugh except for Fenton and Axel. Back inside, Tamera finishes reading her script. She tosses it who knows where.

"Well, I'm not acting like that," Tamera informed Maverick.

"Me too," Maverick agreed then looks perplexed. "But we have to do something to distract us before Sua comes in."

Tamera ponders for a moment until she gets an idea. She gives a sly smile to her team's leader and goes on all fours on the couch. "I know the perfect distraction," The vixen said temptingly. She pushes Maverick onto the sofa.

The promoter puts his legs under her to get more comfortable. Tamera then starts rubbing Maverick's shirt and chest.

"You like that?" Tamera asked in a flirty tone.

Her teammates watch this interaction. Lilith's face starts turning red as a tomato hearing the vixen's seductive voice.

"Are you sweating?" Axel asked the goth.

"What? Of course not," Lilith lied, sweating like a pig.

Maverick has no idea what to process. This is acting, right? Sure, he has not done anything like that but his charismatic promoting ways can be beneficial. Just pretend Tamera is another client. Wait, why does that feel wrong? Whatever, just focus on the challenge.

"Um, yes this is quite enjoyable," Maverick admitted, providing awkward acting.

Tamera sighs. She was expecting him to be better. No matter, she needs to win this for her team. "I'm sure you'll find this more enjoyable." She slowly and softly lowers her hands down to Maverick's stomach to massage it.

"Keep it TV-14 Tamera," Chef reminded, standing near the house's kitchen.

"Ugh, I know that," Tamera exclaimed. "I'm trying to settle in the mood."

"Why don't we just kiss and close our eyes?" Maverick suggested to his teammate.

"And I thought I was the one wanting to go fast," Tamera joked. The two kiss on the lips and immediately stop.

"Wait, that's it?" Maverick wondered.

"Chris said one kiss," Tamera reminded. "What? You thought you would get a piece of all of this?" She uses her hands to show her figure.

"I would be lying if I say no," Maverick admitted with a sheepish grin.

Suddenly, Sua arrives with a chainsaw behind the two. The sound the machine makes matches with the idol's unstable and spine-chilling face.

"Keep going, I want to see how both your types of blood mixture together," Sua exclaimed then cackles.

Tamera and Maverick scream and run out of the haunted house as Sua cuts the sofa they were sitting at into two. The scare-o-meter shows a perfect score of ten on the screen.

Maverick and Tamera reunite with their team.

"That woman is not right," Maverick exclaimed as both he and Tamera catch their breath.

"Geez, what was your first clue? Asking for blood, her face, or the chainsaw?" Lisa inquired.

Both scared teammates glare at her for that response.

Sua arrives out of the haunted house with the chainsaw turned off in her hands. "Don't worry squad, I was just acting. Was not planning on hurting anyone."

Confessional – Sua – Cotton Crazies

"For now," The idol confessed with a sinister smile.

End Confessional

The Nutty Nachos watch Elsa and Boris finish reading their scripts. Both are sitting on the other couch.

"I've played many video games with terrible dialogue, but this takes the cake," Elsa told Boris.

"Agree, there is no point in acting out this garbage," Boris commentated and rips his script in half.

Chris at that moment feels like his heart got ripped out and cries in pain. "My masterpiece, no!"

Back in the haunted house, Elsa scooches over close to her crush.

"What the bloody hell are you doing?" Boris asked the gamer.

"I'm trying to act out the scene what else does it look like?" Elsa retorted.

"Bleh, I have no time to pretend to be a cliché teenage boy," Boris stated as he crossed his arms.

"We still need to do at least a kiss or Chris won't give us points even if we get scared," Elsa retold.

"Somehow I doubt that," Boris cautiously admitted. "But, if it's to win the challenge so be it."

Elsa's eyes widen with happiness. "Really, okay, let me…"

"We don't have time for you putting makeup," Boris exclaimed. "Just kiss me so we can get this over with."

"Don't have to tell me twice," Elsa smirked and quickly grabbed the rich kid's face to pull him in for a kiss.

Boris then immediately pushes the gamer girl away. "Bleh!" He wipes his lip with his right wrist. "Did you have tuna before we got here?"

Elsa blushes out of embarrassment. "Sorry, was it that bad?"

"Of course your breath stinks," Boris proclaimed. "That kiss was awful."

Instead of Elsa feeling heartbroken, she feels more aroused. She again grabs the blonde's face to pull him close.

Their teammates continue to watch from the TV screen.

"Hmm, tell me more how bad it smells," Elsa poured and begins making out with Boris.

Kylie rapidly puts a hand over Fenton and JJ's eyes, so they do not have to witness the kissing. Caleb and Garry look confused about the actions Elsa is doing.

Back to the kissers, Melissa comes to scare them with her own chainsaw, but Elsa and Boris do not care. Well, Boris does she the athletic nerd, but Elsa is not letting go at all.

"Alright, I've seen enough," Chef chimed in. "Cotton Crazies win this challenge."

Confessional – Melissa – Nutty Nachos

"Should have been Fenton and me kissing on that couch," She grumbled.

Confessional – Elsa – Nutty Nachos

"Okay, what is going on? Why did I immediately get excited when Boris insulted my breath? It's weird because, whenever I go to fighting game tournaments boys tend to compliment me on my skills and sometimes my looks. Sure, they are great, but something about Boris telling me how bad my breath was had turned me into like an animal."

Confessional – Boris – Nutty Nachos

He is shown brushing his teeth with a toothbrush. He has a cup of water in his left hand. Once done brushing he takes a sip of water and spits out toothpaste and water. The spit must have hit a small pot since there was a sound made.

"I expected my first kiss to be much more enjoyable, disgraceful. Not only that, because of Elsa I lost my team the challenge. It was a simple kiss why did she go so deep?"

End Confessionals

Chris, Chef, and the two teams are fully back inside the main room of the haunted house. Each team symbol appears on the screen.

"Cotton Crazies, congrats on winning the second challenge. Chef will give you seven tickets once the final challenge is over," Chris explained.

"And what exactly is this final challenge?" Maverick wondered.

"Well, I can't explain it now because I need to get our cameos again for today," Chris admitted sheepishly.

"Forgot to take your pills?" Caleb joked to the host.

"No, I didn't, and my memory is completely fine," Chris told the handsome dude.

"What's my name then?" Garry asked McLean.

Chris scowls. If he does not say his name people will keep mocking his memory. If he does say his name, then the cast might remember.

"It is Garry," Chris answered. "Your name is Garry. Now excuse me while Chef and I find Georgia and Buck. All of you stay in this haunted house until I get back." He and Chef leave.

Upon exiting the place, the cameos are shown waiting by a leafless tree.

"Good to see you two again," Chris greeted Georgia and Buck. "You two remember the time you were supposed to scare a team during Radiant Redemption?"

"You mean that time when everyone lasted ten minutes in that library because of the drama going?" Buck wondered.

"How could we forget?" Georgia sweetly said in a taunting tone.

"Well, you two will finally complete that assignment," Chris spoke. "Though a bit different this time. For one, you two will be working together to scare off all the contestants until one remains in the house. Or the one that leaves the house the latest."

"Sounds delightful," Georgia calmy said.

"Will we be getting equipment to help us? I don't want the short end of the stick," Buck asked Chris.

"Yep, you can call on the interns to find some stuff in the storage place in this carnival," Chris informed. "Have to make sure you two can scare those teens' pants off. Hopefully these last more than ten minutes."

Chef gives a map and walkie-talkie to Georgia. He then leaves with Chris. The two cameos are now alone.

"First time we are teaming up," Georgia told Buck. "We did have somewhat an alliance in our second season, but it didn't go anywhere."

"As long the creek doesn't rise, I bet we can scare their socks off," Buck told the actress.

As Georgia tries to contact some interns with the walkie-talkie given to her, she keeps conversating with the southern MacGyver. "So, what should we call our team up name, Guck or Bugia?"

"Sounds like a shipping name to me," Buck admitted while taking his banjo that was behind the leafless tree. He begins tunning it.

"Speaking of love, have you finally decided who you're going out with it?" Georgia asked the southern. "I heard rumors you are either getting back together with Casey or giving Niu a chance."

Buck stops tuning his banjo. "Girl, you told me not to talk about your relationship with Pharaoh before we got here. Don't talk about my love life."

"Whatever," Georgia shrugged. "Not like I cared about a juicy scoop."

"Can scoops even be juicy?" Buck wondered, oblivious to what the actress meant.

Back inside the haunted house, the fifteen remaining contestants decide to explore the place separately. Tamera is in the kitchen. Every step she takes on the floor results in a creek, upping the creepy factor. She opens the refrigerator. It is still working with the fridge's cable connected to a working outlet. She sees a few soda cans inside. Two brands, Chef Cola and Fanta Santa. She takes two drinks out from the fridge. Of course there had to be some type of food or drink in here for employees. She takes two sodas out of the fridge. She then closes the appliance and opens the sodas on the unstable kitchen counter.

Upon walking to the living room, she notices Axel sitting alone on the sofa Sua cut in half.

"Where's our team?" Tamera asked the gentleman.

"Sua left to explore the place. Lilith and Maverick are doing the same thing while keeping an eye on her. Lisa and Buford are doing their own thing," Axel answered, trying his best not to be rude even though he dislikes the vixen.

"Ah," Tamera nodded. This is perfect, now she can conversate with him alone. "I brought a drink. Found it in the fridge here." She makes her way onto Axel and accidentally trips on one of the wooden floorboards that are lifted. She can balance herself from falling, but she unintentionally in the process throws soda onto Axel's navy-blue dress shirt.

The gentleman gets up controlling his outrage. "Really? You're going to be this petty against me? And I thought you had decent manners." He leaves the vixen alone who sighs by herself.

Lisa is walking around the second floor and notices a small gallery of books nearby. She decides to examine the area. Maybe some of the books on the shelves can entertain her boredom. As she steps on the creaking floor and passes through various spider webs, she begins taking out some books from a shelf. The place is so dusty she starts sneezing.

"I bet Chris didn't send anybody to clean up this place," Lisa stated before continuing to take out books.

The ones she dislikes she puts them on the floor. After a few other tosses, she notices a book that has the title 'History of Crowstillo Island'. Curiosity spiking, she takes the book out and sees a head sticking out from the other side. This is Buford's head.

"Gah!" Lisa exclaimed frighten. Once she gets a good look at her teammate her boring facial expression returns. "Oh, it's you."

"Not so tough under that exterior, are you?" Buford taunted.

"What do you want Bo-beep?" Lisa insulted. She is clearly not in the mood to deal with him. The two exit the book section to head to the staircase. She has the Crowstillo History book in her right arm.

"Look, Ima will be real with you," Buford told the poet. "I don't like you and you don't like me."

"Geez, who knew?" Lisa spoke bluntly.

"Let me finish. We should team-up. Yes, we're enemies, but if the team thinks solely on that not knowing we're working together we can get rid of some of them. Surely you don't like your teammates either," Buford suggested.

Lisa chuckles at the suggestion. "As if I will ever team up with you. I'm making sure your sorry butt is the next thing that sits inside the lame-o-sine." She walks down the staircase.

Buford shrugs. "Well, I tried. Guess I'll have to find some other way to get rid of her."

Confessional – Buford – Cotton Crazies

"I like making deals. Got that from my father. Sometimes you have to make them with your worst enemy because the profits can be high. Obviously, there are always the risks of doing that, but I say it works in my favor. Lisa doesn't see that but whatever. I'm making sure she pays for rigging my girlfriend out of the game."

End Confessional

Lilith and Maverick are examining what seems to be the master bedroom. There was a door to the place, but Sua must have knocked it down with the evidence being on the floor. Speaking of the idol, she is looking at the master bedroom's closet, admiring something.

"I got to say, whether it be Chris or the previous owners of this carnival they did a good job making this look haunting as possible," Maverick told Lilith as he touches the fabric of the bed.

"Totally, the haunted houses when a fair comes to town are small that is filled with cheap props," Lilith told as she sits on the bed. A small crack is heard under her. Seems like the part that was holding the bed on her side broke.

"I just wish this place had more technical stuff going on," Maverick admitted. "Fog machines in hidden places, animatronic people, hidden speakers to make creepy voice, green slime…"

"Why green slime?" Lilith inquired.

Maverick shrugs. "According to my friends, seventy-six percent of a questioner we did have people disliking green slime."

"Hey you two, help me out here," Sua asked for assistance. She is shown struggling to get something out of the closet.

Maverick and Lilith help her and the three take the object out of the closet. They put it down gently, so the floor does not crack under them. After cleaning their hands from dust, they examine the object. It is a dusty silver color coffin.

"I wonder if there is a dead body in there," Lilith pondered with glee.

"It's probably a prop," Maverick doubted.

"Only one way to find out," Sua said. The three open the coffin together and no dead body or prop is in there. However, there are a bunch of black roses inside the coffin.

The Cotton Crazies examine with confusion.

"I do feel like I've seen this before," Sua told her teammates.

"I call dibs!" Lilith exclaimed and jumped into the coffin. This causes the floor under the coffin to crack. Sensing danger, she immediately jumps out of the coffin as it plummets further down the ground. "That was close."

The three notice some lights where the coffin is now. They collectively agree to put the master bedroom on top of the hole where the coffin used to be. What could have been under the haunted house to have so many lights?

Confessional – Maverick – Cotton Crazies

"I love looking around this place with Lilith, but I kind of expected Chris and Chef to be back with cameos already. I wonder if they are planning something."

Confessional – Lilith – Cotton Crazies

"Shame I couldn't fully experience being inside that coffin. Though…" She takes her left purple calf-length boot out to show it has a few black roses in it. "I managed to smuggle these before jumping out. One for me and one for each of my bandmates."

End Confessional

The Nutty Nachos are together in the living room where the none cut sofa is. Fenton, Garry, Caleb, and JJ are sitting on the sofa. Since there is no more room Melissa, Boris, Elsa, and Kylie are standing. The athletic nerd is tapping the creaky floor with her right foot. She wants to, no. She needs to talk with Kylie. Boris is also tapping the floor yet with his left floor. Either because he is becoming impatient or wants to chat with Elsa.

"Ugh, what are they doing taking so long?" Boris finally talked, referring to the two hosts and two cameos. "You there." He points at Elsa. "Talk, now, the second floor."

Elsa looks worried but slowly nods with agreement. This is it. Boris is going to tell how much he does not want her. Nevertheless, she and her crush walk up the staircase.

"Kylie, why don't we have some girl chat?" Melissa offered. "Just the two of us."

The cheerleader has no idea what her leader wants but follows her to another part of the house.

"So, Boris and Elsa," Caleb told Garry, JJ, and Fenton. "How much money you want to bet they make out in one of the beds up there?"

"Sorry, but I don't bet," Fenton apologized. "My mom told me it leaves to addiction and losing finances."

JJ hugs Fenton proudly for being a good boy.

"I doubt they will do it," Garry responded to Caleb. "Boris looked disgusted at the kiss. Plus, I saw him brushing his teeth while heading to the photo booth. Elsa is going to get crushed."

"What does she even see in him?" Caleb wondered.

JJ points to no place in particular. Then she puts her right hand over her left hand. Next, she curves her right hand up.

"JJ says it's because Boris is rich," Fenton translated.

Caleb and Garry can agree on that.

Speaking of the rich dude, he and Elsa are on the second floor in a room full of mysterious crates, boxes, and suitcases. The gamer notices his crush's indifferent face.

"Boris, I am so sorry for costing us the challenge," Elsa spoke rapidly as if she is doing a speed run with her mouth. "And I know the kissing was too much is just…"

"Oh, quiet you," Boris told the gamer. "Cannot you see I am processing what you did?"

Elsa quickly shuts up. After what feels like forever for her, her crush talks.

"That kiss was embarrassing, but I'm glad you acknowledge how great I am," Boris insulted and complimented at the same time. "I believe it is best for us to…"

Elsa's eyes widen in anticipation.

"Keep a low profile and take things slow," Boris confessed.

Elsa sighs feeling rejected. "Yeah, I expected that. Wait, what did you say?"

"I'm not wasting my voice on repeating it," Boris spoke uncaringly.

"You want to give me a shot?" Elsa wanted confirmation.

"You're many things Elsa. Terrible at wearing clothes, playing video games for a living, and not exactly the most charming," Boris admitted.

"Flattery doesn't suit you," Elsa retorted.

"However, from spending so much time with you and keeping me from going insane with all the ineffectual people around me, I too have developed somewhat feelings for you," Boris admitted, though he still has his unwillingly face intact. "However, do not expect me to ricochet such feeling towards you. I'm here to try and win."

"So, no kissing or hiding in certain areas?" Elsa pondered.

"Precisely, I rather nobody did not know of this," Boris answered. "When you get back down just pretend to be sad, so no one expects a thing."

"Okay," Elsa agreed.

Confessional – Elsa – Nutty Nachos

"That went way better than I thought."

Confessional – Boris – Nutty Nachos

"Considering how hopelessly she is in love with me, I took pity on her affection. Besides, she's the first that actually wants me. Usually, I have to buy friends or a girlfriend during special events. As long as she doesn't cost me the game, I say this whole relationship could work out in my favor."

End Confessionals

Kylie and Melissa are at what appears to be the laundry place of the haunted house. Three washing machines are completely unusable.

"Alright, I'm going to make this quick," Melissa told the cheerleader as she turns around to face the brunette. "Stay away from Fenton."

"Huh?" Kylie asked confused.

"First you ruin my date with him then you make us not do the kissing scene," Melissa explained. "I don't care how jealous you are I saw him first."

"Jealous?" Kyle questioned the accusation. "This is a complete misunderstanding. Please let me explain."

Melissa right now wants to tell her off, but maybe she should listen to what the cheerleader has to say. "Alright, I'm listening."

Kylie takes a deep breath before clarifying. "When I was in the Sleek Slushies, Meredith and Buford started dating each other. It only started recently, and it was a secret kept between me, Marty, and her. Somehow though, she was the first eliminated from the Cotton Crazies. I want to protect you and Fenton from going through that."

Melissa's upset demeanor diminishes. She smiles at Kylie and puts her right hand on her right teammate's shoulder.

"That's real sweet of you Kylie. Sorry I thought you were jealous," Melissa apologized.

"No need to apologize. I probably would get jealous too if you sabotaged my date," Kylie told.

The two embraces a quick hug.

"I know you're doing this for protection, but this is one of the things when it comes to becoming a couple on this show. People will see them as a threat," Melissa told Kylie. "I'll try to make sure Fenton and I keep a low profile."

Confessional – Kylie – Nutty Nachos

"Wow, I am totally surprised what happened. I thought Melissa was going to blow me off and storm away. Guess she's actually pretty chill when not getting competitive."

End Confessional

All the teens are now back in the living room. Just like Boris told her, Elsa is looking a bit dejected to fake the reality of them not together. Each team symbol appears on the screen.

"Alright, it's past thirty minutes," Buford told everyone. "Don't know about any of you, but I'm getting out of here to find Chris."

As Bo starts walking to the doorway, fog starts appearing from the floor. The fog right now is at four inches, getting bigger by the second.

"Um, I know this place is drafty but is there supposed to be fog occurring this day?" Caleb asked everyone, trying to keep cool and not feel scared.

"Ghosts! It's happening!" Fenton exclaimed and quickly runs out of the haunted house as the fog reaches one foot from the floor.

"I don't believe in ghosts, but I'm not waiting to find out who is doing this," Buford commentated and leaves the house.

"Ooo, this feels like the time my dance group performed with smoke machines," Sua told her teammates.

"Correct Sua, that's what going on," Maverick congratulated the idol. "There's most likely a smoke machine somewhere causing this fog."

The promoter observes the fog and notices one part being denser than another. He proceeds to follow the denser fog and accidentally kicks the machine, turning it off.

"Oops, hope that wasn't an expensive one."

"Why do I get the feeling the third challenge is happening now?" Melissa told everyone.

"Impossible, Chris hasn't shown up yet," Boris told the athletic nerd.

Suddenly, a body falls from above. It hits the ground hard. The contestants observe what this human size body belongs to. It is Buford, who looks completely dead. Everyone gasps except for Sua and Maverick.

"Challenge or no challenge, I'm getting out of here," Garry told his team and flees the haunted house.

"Guys relax, is just a rubber doll that resembles Bo," Maverick assured. He goes to rub the left arm of the body. "If you touch it, you'll know that is not how skin feels."

Lilith and Elsa feel the doll and conclude that Maverick is right.

"Then it is official. This is a challenge," Melissa stated.

"If this is a challenge, then what's the goal here?" Axel wondered.

The remaining twelve inside the house hear footsteps coming towards them. What they see is shocking to everyone. A robot pirate skeleton with a sword.

"You won't escape this place alive," The skeleton said as he slowly gets closer to the group.

"That's my cue to leave," Boris told and leaves the house.

"I thought all of those were destroyed," Kylie assumed.

"Everyone split up," Axel told and the remaining eleven picked different spots around the first floor.

The pirate skeleton follows Caleb, promoting the handsome genius to scream. JJ takes a sword out of her wig and passes it to Maverick nearby. The promoter rushes to slash the skeleton's head off. The skeleton's head cackles before shutting down.

"Thanks dude," Caleb told Maverick.

"Challenge or no challenge I'm not staying here when there could be more of those on the loose," Tamera proclaimed. She exits out the house.

"I have to agree with her," Caleb said and follows her. JJ does the same.

Only eight remain inside.

"This feels like a horror game, which is very exciting," Elsa told Kylie and Melissa. "I bet there are clues around the place that will show us how these occurrences are appearing."

"Great idea Elsa," Maverick complimented. "There has to be a place somewhere here that allows someone to unleash these horrors."

"Should we split up and search for clues?" Lilith asked.

"What a great idea," Lisa sarcastically told the goth.

"I know you're still bitter about Jett going home, but can you turn down the snark levels," Lilith told the poet. "They're getting annoying."

"Then tone down your unnecessary questions," Lisa told.

"I have," The goth exclaimed. "I haven't even done one question today."

"Whoa, calm down. This isn't the time to be quarreling," Axel told the girls.

"Oh yeah, because you're so calm around Tamera," Lisa retorted.

"You know what? Figure this out on your own. I know this is a challenge, but I don't want to keep your voices for the time being," Axel exclaimed and leaves the house.

Confessional – Axel – Cotton Crazies

"Ugh, I hate that I sounded so rude back there," The gentleman frustratingly spoke. "I should have left without saying a word. I think I need to spend some time alone by myself. Hilda would probably suggest that."

End Confessional

Outside the haunted house, the contestants that left are watching the remaining seven through a giant TV screen. Chris and Chef are watching as well. The host notices the seven beginning their search. He takes out a walkie-talkie to communicate with the cameos.

"Yo Georgia and Buck, you two might want to scare them off quickly. The last seven are going to be searching for the other exit now."

Georgia and Buck are shown exiting the backdoor of a bedroom once the host finishes talking.

"Don't worry Chris, we'll make sure to have them wet their pants," The actress assured. She looks at Buck with confidence. "Did you install the speakers as I told you?"

"Yeah," Buck answered and passes a microphone to the actress. "But you sure this is a good idea? I don't want you to go insane mimicking his voice."

"Relax, I know when to snap back to reality when voicing someone," Georgia secured. "Just get me a water bottle quickly to end this."

Lisa, Maverick, Sua, Lilith, Elsa, Melissa, and Kylie keep walking around the house and come across a bedroom with a door in the back.

"That's not suspicious at all," Melissa joked. "Who's going to open that door first?"

Elsa shrugs. "Eh, in video games you have to check all doors to find anything that can complete it one hundred percent." As the gamer takes her time to head to the door, all can hear a despicable laugh.

"Ah, so nice to see you all at my home," The voice of the Ringleader is heard.

Hearing the mad man's voice causes everyone to tremble in fear.

"Can't wait for our playdate," The Ringleader proclaimed.

Everyone decides to exit out the front doors of the house screaming. Even if the Ringleader is not present, none of them want to stay in to find out. Except for one particular idol. Sua is staying in the same spot. She has no fear of hearing the Ringleader's voice. In fact, she seems to be glad.

"When will the magic happen?" Sua wondered happily.

Chris walks to the idol. "Congrats Sua, you officially won the third challenge for your team Cotton Crazies. You and they can rest now in the gold tent."

"Wait, there's no magic show?" Sua asked, feeling dissatisfied.

The two exit out the spooky house. Sua's team congratulates her while the Nutty Nachos have mixed feelings about losing. Georgia is shown finishing up her water bottle.

"It is going to be a quiet ride heading back," Buck told the actress.

Georgia nods in agreement since she cannot use her voice at the moment.

"Nice voice acting Georgia," Chris complimented. "Sounded exactly like the Ringleader."

Georgia gives a smirk and thumbs up.

"What about me putting all those props in the house?" Buck wondered, also wanting thanks.

"If it wasn't for the speakers, you two would have failed," Chef told the southern. "Happy?"

"Does a horse neigh?" Buck joked but no one got it. He chuckles awkwardly.

Confessional – Melissa – Nutty Nachos

"That could have gone better. Oh well, I already have a clear idea who I want gone."

Confessional – Sua – Cotton Crazies

"I did not expect to win for my team, but I'm happy. I did not even get hurt today." She exits out the photo booth and accidentally trips herself. "Should have kept my mouth shut."

End Confessionals

Melissa, Fenton, and JJ are alone at the brown tent.

"Who are we voting for tonight?" Fenton asked the athletic nerd.

"Kylie," Melissa answered.

This confuses JJ and Fenton.

"Really? JJ told me earlier you were set on Boris," Fenton told. He would like to vote out Elsa more than Boris, but he does not have the guts to say that.

"I was, but Kylie is more of an athletic threat," Melissa explained her reasoning. "She has to go."

"Athletic threat?" Fenton questioned. Something is not right to him. For weeks she wants Boris to be gone and all of a sudden, she wants to eliminate the cheerleader? "Forgive me if this sounds harsh, but I think you want Kylie gone because she sabotaged our date."

"That too," Melissa agreed.

"Sounds like that's the priority," Fenton declared.

"Why are you interrogating me?" Melissa questioned. "Just vote for Kylie. She ruined two chances of us spending time alone together. Aren't you mad about that?"

JJ notices the tension rising between her two friends.

"She said she was doing it to help us," Fenton told Melissa, not being mad at all.

"Yeah, but it's going to get annoying eventually. So what we get together? That's our problem, not hers," Melissa declared. "We're voting for Kylie. End of discussion."

Fenton sighs and looks at JJ. The silent clown notices the guilt her friend is having.

Around the carnival booths, the Slushie Alliance will now be deciding who to vote off.

"Alright, I think is quite obvious we are voting for Melissa," Caleb told Garry and Kylie.

"Melissa? Why not Boris? The dude is such an obvious liability," Kylie countered Caleb's reasoning.

"Yeah man, we can get rid of Melissa later on. I rather have her than the dude that treats me like nothing," Garry sided with Kylie.

"But Melissa is a big threat in brains and smarts," Caleb still wants to convince them.

"Yeah, and the only one that is capable of leading the team," Kylie told him. She did not want to mention Fenton in this discussion.

"No offense dude, but we need her right now," Garry once again sided with his alliance member.

Caleb pinches his nose. "Okay, but…"

"Dude, we made a deal remember," Garry reminded. "Is my turn to have someone leave. Don't go back on it."

"What is this deal I keep hearing about?" Kylie wondered.

"About food," Caleb lied. "I sneaked into the gold tent to grab extra delicious food for him and when we lose again, I vote for the person he wants out."

"Wait, that wasn't the…"

Caleb puts his left hand on Garry's mouth to shut him up. "We're voting Boris. No more discussions."

Confessional – Caleb – Nutty Nachos

"Great, now I have to make a choice. Secretly backstab my alliance to get rid of Melissa or immediately destroy the alliance I made with Boris by sending him home. Which side on the coin is more beneficial for me?"

End Confessional

It is night, and the Nutty Nachos arrive at the Calamity Ceremony. The girls are in the bottom row and the boys are in the top row of the two-level bleacher. The team's symbol appears on the screen.

From left to right for the girls are JJ, Melissa, Kylie, and Elsa. From right to left for the boys are Boris, Fenton, Garry, and Caleb.

Chris and Chef are standing next to two lamp posts illuminating them. Chef is holding a flat silver plate with seven popcorn bags on it.

"Nutty Nachos, you all had a good run avoiding elimination. However, all streaks must come to an end," Chris greeted the eight contestants. "Most of you chickened out during the last challenge."

"We didn't even know if it was the last challenge," Caleb told the host.

"Doesn't matter, you all have cast your votes. Time to send someone to the lame-o-sine. But first, popcorn for those who are safe," The host said. "Must of you received no votes. These are…"

"Fenton"

The short kid catches his popcorn bag.

"JJ"

The clown happily catches the bag and stuffs it in her wig.

"Elsa"

The gamer joyfully catches her bag and eats some popcorn.

"Garry"

Garry tries to catch his bag but fails. Fenton offers him some popcorn which he gladly accepts.

..

"And Caleb."

The handsome genius catches his popcorn bag with one hand. He smirks, triumphant on staying another day.

Chris looks at Boris, Kylie, and Melissa. "You three received votes. But only one of you will be leaving."

"Wait, how did I get votes?" Kylie pondered.

"The next contestant safe is…"

"Boris."

The rich kid stands up to catch his popcorn bag. "It was obvious me staying in the game."

"Sit down royal pain," Chris insulted. Boris does as he is told. He gazes at the nervousness of the remaining two females without a bag. "Melissa and Kylie, there is only one bag left. The final one goes to…"

Melissa and Kylie gaze at Chef having the last bag on his silver plate. Both start to sweat.

"Kylie."

The cheerleader catches her bag and quickly begins eating the popcorn. That was a close one. Melissa balls her hands into a fist and stands up.

"I knew it!" Melissa exclaimed with fury and points at Kylie. "I knew you were going to get rid of me. You are jealous of Fenton and me."

Kylie finishes her popcorn to talk. "No, I'm not I swear. I didn't even vote for you. I voted for Boris."

Melissa looks at the rich kid who is smiling and waving happily.

"Looks like I outlasted you after all," Boris smugly told.

Melissa's anger diminishes. She was caught on wanting Kylie out she forgot Boris could have easily been eliminated.

"I can't believe this," Melissa said, shock at what happened to her. She looks at Fenton. "At least I still have you."

Fenton stands up and the two-stand next to each other, gazing into their eyes.

"Win this for me," Melissa told Fenton.

JJ and Kylie watch to see if the two kiss. Melissa puckers up her lip, bends down to Fenton's height, and leans in for the smooch.

Fenton looks like he wants to say something. "Melissa I…"

"Think we should stay as friends," Fenton finished.

This causes everyone to open their mouths, even Chris and Chef. Nobody at the ceremony was expecting what he said.

Melissa stops bending and looks immediately sad. "Wha… what?"

Fenton breathes in and out. If he wants to return to making decisions on his own, he has to tell the truth. "I only like you as a friend. I… also voted for you."

Everyone gasps, even Boris.

"Yeah, I saw his handwriting on the paper and I'm still shocked he wrote your name," Chris mentioned.

"What… why?" Melissa inquired to know. "Did Kylie…"

"None of this had to deal with Kylie," Fenton interrupted while still feeling awful inside. "I want to lead the team. You made me realize I shouldn't let the past keep affecting my decisions in life. I want to start making my own decisions and you told me that with you staying I can't accomplish that. I'm sorry I had to do this, but I didn't think of any other option."

"So that date you wanted to do with me?" Melissa asked, on the verge of crying. "Was… all for nothing?"

Fenton is holding back tears as well. He did not expect telling the truth to her can be so difficult. "I wanted to go on the date, so I convince you to let me lead."

"You… you… never liked me?" Melissa kept crying while still looking at her crush.

"I gave it a chance," Fenton honestly spoke. "And I don't have the same feelings you have for me. I'm sorry."

Melissa blubbers and covers her eyes and nose with her hoodie. Chef walks next to her, patting her back for comfort. The two walk away from the ceremony. Kylie and JJ quickly rush to Fenton to comfort him, who is also crying. He never had to do that to a girl until now.

"Wow, that was awesome," Chris joyfully said. "I expected you and Melissa to smooch which would have been boring, but wow! What an awesome heartbreak that was."

Fenton, JJ, and Kylie glared at the host. Chris winces at their glares. He realizes is not the time to be uncouth.

"Anyway," He looks at the camera to end the episode. "The Nutty Nachos Melissa leader is now gone by her own downfall. How will Fenton lead the team? Will the Nutty Nachos regain victory or fall short to Maverick and his Cotton Crazies? Find out next time on Total… Drama… Carnival… Calamity!"

Inside the lame-o-sine, Melissa still has her hoodie covering her eyes and nose. She has not stopped crying from what happened to her.

"This is appalling," Melissa cried. "Is like everything shattered around me in five minutes. I blinded myself with rage, Boris gets to gloat he placed higher than me, and the one boy I liked blindsides with me and tells me it won't work out."

Rosalina as always drives the limo but keeps quiet. She wants the eliminated contestant to let her frustration out.

"I messed up so much during my stay. Did I even make any friends? Did JJ appreciate me? And worst of all is that I couldn't stop getting too competitive for my own good," Melissa continued. She sniffles then lays her head on the limo's window crying herself to sleep.

Author's Note: That was episode twelve. Going to address this elimination. Even though I constantly change my drafts, Melissa is so far had the least amount of changes according to rankings. She originally was going next episode, but I think now is time for her to go. A lot of people were expecting Melissa and Fenton to likely hookup and yeah, that was my initial idea. However, upon the plot changes and rereading a bit the past chapters I do not think it will be for the best for these two to get together. At least not now.

I am not saying the relationship will be toxic, but it certainly would have been unstable. Fenton and Melissa need to grow on their own paths. I feel like them getting together now will hinder both. Fenton cannot really help out Melissa's extremely competitive nature and being in a relationship with her will result in the athletic nerd just making decisions for Fenton almost every single time. This is why Fenton wants to lead. Plus, Melissa is going to be in the next aftermath. Is not the happiest ending, but I feel like it is the most necessary ending.
