Chris begins narrating the previous episode. Flashbacks occur. "Last time on Total Drama Carnival Calamity, the remaining contestants were up for a game of miniature golf. JJ, Lilith, Tamera, and Caleb dominated the challenge to secure immunity. Sua tried to sabotage the other contestants but failed miserably. Deals were made by Buford and Lilith. Also adding to the list were Axel and Tamera in getting into an alliance with JJ, Fenton, and Kylie. Caleb made sure to disrupt Kylie and Fenton's relationship to hinder both of them from winning immunity. This also leads to the couple breaking up. Haven't seen that happen since Courtney and Scott."
"At the elimination ceremony, Sua was going to be sent home. However, it turns out she found the last immunity idol in the Total Drama Museum. This leads to her being safe while Kylie is sent home, breaking up the five-team alliance."
Chris is shown at the Gator Swamp Chomp attraction, standing on the dock. He is using a fishing rod to fish for something in the river while talking. "Eight players remain. Who will be the next one to sleep with the fishes?" The host asked the audience. He feels something biting the string from his fishing rod. He starts reeling the rod and out comes a pair of underwear with rainbow monkeys on it.
"Bleh," Chris said with disgust. "Anyway, I did not mean what I said about sleeping literally. But one contestant probably will." He chuckles. Find out now on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"
The intro begins, with a camera popping out from a large pot containing Chef's revolting gruel, then from a bird's nest on a roller coaster sign entrance, and then from a carnival booth with pink stuff animals next to it. A smooth transition from a roller coaster descending to the three tents in the carnival is shown. A clapper pops up to commence the action.
Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine
A camera drone enters the blue tent showing Chris McLean taking a shower, his upper body exposed while the rest of him is covered with a towel. He notices the camera drone and hits it with a bar of soap.
You guys are on my mind
The camera drone gets out of the tent and shows Tamera and Caleb driving bumper cars in the bumper car attraction. They collide with each other. The impact causes an explosion.
You asked me what I wanted to be,
The camera drone shows Sua and Lily walking on the Penguin Emporium ice to catch some penguins.
and I think the answer is plain to see
Sua accidentally trips on the ice, slides into the cold pool, and gets frozen.
I wanna be famous!
Marty is swimming up from a different pool in his swimsuit, but the editing makes it look like it was in the cold one. Upon catching some air, he winks at Kylie and Meredith who are near the exit of the tall slide. Both are also wearing swimsuits.

JJ is putting her clown makeup on in the confessional photo booth.

Maverick and Fenton are inside a haunted house looking at a coffin. Maverick opens the coffin and Lilith pops out to reveal herself. This causes Fenton to scream and run away.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
Boris and Elsa are shown competing in an arcade fighting game machine in the arcade center. Both are smirking at each other. Garry waits patiently in a chair for his turn.
I'll get there one day
The lights suddenly turn off and a laser tag fight is shown between Melissa, Buford, and Edgar using laser guns. Melissa gets competitive and shoots at the two boys, causing them to get electrocuted. She looks at them with concern.

Gabriel is near the carousal explaining politics on a chalkboard to Axel and Hilda who are interested in his talk.

Lucy, Duncan, Noah, Scarlett, and Chef are shown drinking Crowstillo wine and connecting their glass cups to celebrate their break. Lucy however maintains a sturdy look at Scarlett.

Blue smoke appears engulfing the sight of the camera drone. The Ringleader shows himself with a rascally smirk before dropping a grenade that explodes green grass.

At the aftermath studio, Lisa and Jett are sitting on the center couch. Lisa goes for a kiss to her crush, but Jett is conflicted on whether to kiss her back or not. Before he can decide Georgia pushes the two off the couch so she can sit there. Christopher sits next to her co-host. The two of them whistle as the camera drone zooms out to show the Calamity Cast, the aftermath hosts, Chris, and Chef whistling as well. Above them is a sign that lights up with the words Total Drama Carnival Calamity.
The episode starts inside the Ringleader's lab. Scarlett is shown holding a notepad in her left hand. There are several animals inside cages. An eagle, a frog, two squirrels, a duck, and a rabbit.
"These shall be faultless for experimenting," Scarlett told herself with a smirk. She looks at the human size toxic waste tubes. As she does this, she accidentally steps on a grasshopper hopping around the floor. "All are stable," she said looking at the tubes. Then she walks to her left to check on Lucy the captured companion.
"Surprise you are still thriving. Thought without all that nutrition and water you would be deceased by now," Scarlett figured. She walks closer to the captured DIT and notices something not right.
Lucy's face is hydrated and not as skinny three days ago. Scarlett's smirk turns into a scowl.
"What is the meaning of this?" Scarlett hissed, narrowing her eyes at the DIT. "You are not supposed to look this healthy."
"Took you this long to figure it out?" Lucy taunted, now having a smirk of her own. "No wonder you need glasses."
Scarlett pinches her nose. "I don't know how you are still around, but you still here will disrupt my plans. Did not want it to come to this. However, you left me no choice."
The brainiac walks to one of the human size tubes containing toxic waste. She grabs a bucket nearby and opens a faucet the tube has. She closes the faucet after some toxic waste lands in the bucket.
"You will just have to be my pet from now on," Scarlett stated as she walks back to the DIT's cell, holding the bucket of waste in her hands.
For some reason, Lucy is not afraid of what is going to happen to her.
"Smiling?" Scarlett said dumfounded. "You want to turn into a…"
Suddenly, a dagger is thrown and stabs the bucket Scarlett has. Some toxic waste starts to spill onto the brainiac's right hand.
"Gah!" Scarlett exclaimed in horror and accidentally drops the bucket. This causes some of the toxic waste to spill onto her shoes and legs.
She begins to walk backward until someone hiding in the shadows electrocutes Scarlett with a taser. The brainiac falls onto the ground unconscious. The shadowy figure steps into the light to reveal the person being Saraphina.
"That was too easy," Saraphina admitted.
"Well, it is just her we are facing at the moment," Christopher pointed out as he reveals himself on the scene.
Saraphina handcuffs Scarlett while Christopher finds the key to open the cell Lucy is trapped in on one of the tables.
"Nice dagger throwing by the way. Getting really good with that," Saraphina complimented her boyfriend.
"Thanks, practice makes perfect. Especially throwing them at empty cans I find in the trash," Christopher said as he unlocks the cell.
"You picked up cans from trash bins?" Saraphina wondered as she holds up the unconscious Scarlett to make the brainiac stand.
"Um, yes," Christopher answered awkwardly.
"Thanks for the help," Lucy thanked Christopher and Saraphina. "Let's go to Chris and explain to him what has happened."
"Actually, Saraphina and I will be staying guarding the lab in case the Ringleader shows up," Christopher informed.
"Yeah, we want to make sure there isn't a surprise assault," Sara agreed. "I will help you take Scarlett to Chris though."
"Yes please, I don't have my full strength to take her up the ladder," Lucy told the two.
Christopher watches the DIT and his girlfriend taking Scarlett climbing the ladder to exit out of the lab. The kung fu warrior notices Scarlett's shoes covered in toxic waste as well as some parts of her legs.
"Oh dear, I am afraid we might not be done with her just yet," Christopher spoke, sensing something will happen to Scarlett. He decides not to tell his worry to his co-workers. Is on her shoes. The results of being mutated in that area are low, right?
A new scene shows the winners of the previous challenge eating breakfast at a table inside the gold tent. Smokey applewood bacon, milk, and an omelet with cut vegetables on top. JJ is peacefully eating her food as well as Lilith. Tamera has finished her meal and has her arms crossed. The vixen is looking at Caleb eating his meal. That is not what makes her upset though. Is the fact Caleb has Marty's camera next to his breakfast plate.
"That isn't yours," Tamera told Caleb.
Caleb laughs. "Finders keepers."
"That camera belongs to Marty," Tamera told the handsome genius.
"Yeah, and I will give it back to him. Once I win the money of course," Caleb confidently said. "Besides, we are friends. Is not like I'm going to break the camera. Just going to borrow it for my own needs."
"You were never friends. You just wanted to use him until you realized how much of a threat he is," Tamera pointed out.
"Are you really trying to be the good girl in this situation?" Caleb questioned. "May I remind you how much of a bitch you also are?"
For some reason, Tamera feels insulted to be called that. Weird, she would normally own it and be like, 'Yeah I know'. But this time it feels different. Has spending time with Axel softened her? The vixen looks at JJ and Lilith to see if they agree with Caleb.
Lilith finishes eating a strip of bacon in her mouth to speak. "Don't take this personally. I don't dislike you, but you did get rid of Maverick," the goth told Tamera.
JJ does not speak since she is mute. So, she continues to eat her breakfast in peace. This conversation does not have to deal with anything about her. Sounds selfish but is not like she has much to say on the matter. She was never in a team with Tamera.
Confessional – Tamera
"That comment Caleb told me makes me feel so conflicted. I know I'm a bitch, but at the same time, I don't want to feel like one. Like, I want to continue creating drama but at the same time, I don't. This is so weird."
Confessional – Caleb
He has Marty's camera in his right hand to show off. "Yeah, I took the dude's camera from where Kylie put it. Inside her sleeping bag." He chuckles in victory. "I still have the mushrooms and other items I brought from the hut. Can't get too cocky though, that's what lead to Boris getting rid of my alliance. My odds are not bad though. Sua is on my side for the time being and Lilith seems to be swaying towards me. Don't really know, saw her talking with Buford a day ago."
Confessional – Lilith
"It amazes me how Tamera is somewhat trying to turn into a new leaf. Hilda and Axel are doing a wonderful job helping her out. Well, just Axel since Hilda is gone. Still, it's great."
Confessional – JJ
The clown has a glass of milk in her right hand. She puts the milk into her wig. It starts to spill, causing her to look with curiosity and worry.
End Confessionals
Fenton, Axel, Buford, and Sua are at a table inside the brown tent eating gruel.
The only one feeling a bit nervous around the competition is Fenton. Kylie, his ex-girlfriend was eliminated, and JJ is in the gold tent. Being by himself, not knowing anyone of the people sitting with him disturbs the short kid tremendously.
Buford notices Fenton's nerves and smiles. Might as well get to know the dude.
"I believe we have barely talked to each other," Bo greeted Fenton. "Feels great to be in the merge."
"Oh, um yeah," Fenton agreed, caught off guard by Buford's sudden talk. "Feels great."
"Alright, I'm done with this," Axel said as he finishes his gruel. "We're voting off Caleb today. There are no more immunity idols. As long as we make sure he doesn't win today's challenge he is out."
Buford notices the gentleman's pitiless look and posture. "Calm down dude, we'll take care of him when we can."
"When we can?" Axel questioned, baffled at that statement. "If we don't act now, he can slither his way to the finale."
"Oh, don't go all desperate to eliminate just one guy," Buford said. "Focus on the game first. I want Caleb gone too but don't go pulling a Lucy. Don't know if you saw Crowstillo Island, but that is the biggest reason why she got voted out."
While Axel and Buford continue to discuss, Fenton notices Sua signaling him to come outside and chat. The two get up from their chairs and head outside the tent.
"All I'm saying is that if all of us team up during the challenge we can get rid of Caleb," Axel proposed.
"And what if he still manages to win immunity? Anything can happen during a challenge," Buford pointed out. "You'll be a target for making the plan."
"Literally everyone is out against him," Axel exclaimed, not seeing Bo's point. The gentleman stands up from his seat, getting a bit enraged. "I'm going to take a shower to cool off." He leaves the tent, ignoring Fenton and Sua who are about to talk with each other in the process.
Buford notices the idol and competent sidekick together. "Not everyone is out against Caleb," Bo said to himself. His gut is telling him that Sua is working with the handsome dude.
Confessional – Axel
He still is unhappy. "Seriously? Pulling a Lucy? How am I doing that? I just want to get rid of Caleb. All seven of us want him out. He's been messing with people throughout the game. Why can't Bo see that I have no clue."
Confessional – Buford
"I understand what Axel is getting at and he does make a good point. Caleb really has no one to lean on except maybe Sua. But still, focusing on just one player throughout the whole challenge? The odds are not in the group's favor. The only time I saw this working is when the competition is around the final four and there are only four more spots for me to get there. Depending on how today goes I could side with Axel."
End Confessionals
"So, you want to get rid of the bad people left in the game?" Fenton asked Sua skeptically but curious at the same time.
"Yes, there are too many meanies in this game," Sua answered. "Would you help me get rid of them?
"Um, I don't know…" Fenton admitted, backing away from the idol. He feels something off-putting about her.
"But we don't want them to go to the finale, don't we? They don't deserve to be in that spotlight," Sua said, her voice sounding smooth yet menacing. Her eyes are wide open as she keeps talking.
"I understand that but why do you need my help for?" Fenton asked as he stops walking backward.
"Because you're the most innocent person left in the game. There is nothing more terrifying than innocence," Sua responded.
"Can you stop using that ominous voice?" Fenton pleaded now shivering. He has his eyes close and arms covering his head. "It's creeping me out."
"Oh, sorry," Sua apologized. "But do you intend on teaming up with me to secure that all the rotten people left are out?"
"Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt," Fenton said, still a bit unsure of the idea. "As long I don't partake in anything harmful or sabotage."
"Oh, that's easy to manage," Sua cheerfully said and extends her right arm to shake hands. "I'll be doing that dirty work," The psycho whispered to herself.
In some corner deep within Fenton's brain is telling him not to shake hands. However, to not be rude he shakes anyway as an act of kindness.
"I am going to see JJ now," Fenton said and walks away.
Sua watches him head into the gold tent. Her lovely smile does not fade even once.
The speakers throughout the carnival turn on. "Attention contestants, meet me by the docks at the Gator Swamp Chomp for today's challenge!" Chris announced through the speakers. "It's the place all of you were at in the racing challenge."
Confessional – Sua
"Caleb told me to make friends with good people so we can get rid of the bad people left in the game. Ones like Lisa who betrays their friends. He gave me a list, but I accidentally fell into one of the water bird fountains early and the paper got wet. Forgot which names he wrote except for Fenton."
Confessional – Fenton
"The swamp attraction? That brings back memories. Man, it feels weird that I'm deep into the game yet at the same time feel sort of left out. JJ is the only person that I have left as a friend. It worries me what would happen if either of us get separated."
He thinks some more of what he wants to say.
"I'm also getting bad vibes from Sua. She seems nice, but I feel like she has more terrible intentions hiding beneath that smile. I might also have to side with Axel on taking out Caleb. Wow, there's a lot of decision-making to do. I bet JJ will help me on that."
End Confessional
The eight contestants, Chris, and Chef arrive at the dock of the Gator Swamp Chomp River attraction.
"Welcome players to today's challenge. A nice simple one at that," Chris proclaimed.
"Why are the challenges suddenly being simplified?" Lilith kindly asked. "We are in the merge. Shouldn't they be harder?"
Chris's response is just shrugging. "They are hard in their own certain way. Like this one for today."
Fenton, Axel, Caleb, Tamera, and JJ notice to their right a pile of fishing rods, a bucket full of hooks, a bucket of bobbers, and a bucket full of different types of bait.
"Today's challenge requires a test of patience. Each contestant will grab a fishing rod, an angler, a bobber, and bait to catch fish," Chris explained. "Each of you needs to catch one fish, two fish, redfish, and bluefish."
"Um, what?" Sua said confused. "How many fish?"
"Not repeating myself again," Chris replied happily with his casual smile. "Once you all have the acquired fish you will take them to one of the eight airboats on your left."
The contestants look at the airboats. "Each player will drive an airboat with their fish to the other end of the river. There are signs around the trees to guide you all. I'll be over there chilling until the challenge is over. Chef will stay here to supervise you all," Chris finished.
"And the person who arrives first will receive immunity, correct?" Caleb asked for confirmation.
"Nope, that was my initial intention though. Whoever arrives last at the other side of the river with their fish is automatically eliminated from the game," Chris announced.
Dramatic music commences as the contestants' mouths open in shock.
"Yep, Chef and I have been noticing a lot of you allying together. Ratings won't go high if everyone knows who is likely to be voted off," Chris told the eight. "Now, go get your materials and have fun fishing."
Confessional – Sua
She still looks perplexed. "Seriously, what does Chris mean by one fish, two fish, redfish, and bluefish?"
Confessional – Axel
"Fishing? I would expect this challenge coming from season one of this show, not at the time of how the show is now."
Confessional – Tamera
"Ugh, fishing is so boring. Instead of people focusing on me they focus on the fish. What am I not wet enough for them?"
She realizes what she said. "Um, I could have phrased that better."
Confessional – Caleb
He has a mischievous smirk on him. "Hmm, this challenge out to be interesting. Lots of opportunities to sabotage."
End Confessionals
Each contestant grabs a fishing rod that has a line and a spinning reel. Then they take a hook, a bobber, and bait. Each player then sits in a spot around the chestnut brown wooden dock to fish. Everything is quiet, a bit too quiet.
"Gah this is so dull," Tamera exclaimed and complained. "This is going to take hours."
"Don't start," Axel told the vixen. He is about ten feet apart from Tamera's right. "Maybe if you focus more on the fish the challenge will go by faster."
"The fish aren't seeing my beautiful body so how they are going to know to come to me," Tamera boasted.
Axel tries his best not to chuckle.
"Are you laughing at me?" Tamera wondered.
"Forgive me, is just that you do this so much talking about your exterior is becoming amusing to me," Axel admitted.
"You're… finding me amusing?" Tamera said puzzled.
"Yeah, nothing wrong with that right?" Axel genuinely asked with a smile.
Tamera stutters to say words but in the end, looks away from the gentleman to continue fishing.
"Weird," Axel admitted quietly. He has not seen Tamera stutter like this since she broke down and told him about her life. Nevertheless, he continues fishing while eyeing Caleb further down to his right.
Caleb has gotten bored as well. He needs to speed up the process. He looks at Marty's camera that he has next to him. Flashing the fish will just scare them away. He can use one of his items to his advantage. Like the mushrooms he took for himself during the log challenge. He reels back the line of his fishing rod to take out the worm he put in the hook.
Caleb then takes out a purplish red mushroom from his left dark green short pocket. He puts the mushroom into the hook. Then he returns to fishing. Quickly, the dude gets a bite and reels a medium-size orange fish to him.
"Nice," Caleb happily said. "Guess fish also have a knock for shrooms." He proceeds to detach the fish from his hook and put the creature next to him.
Lilith is humming one of the punk rock songs her band sung. She is the calmest and least bored of the people shown fishing so far.
"Psh," Buford called to his alliance partner, not that far away.
Lilith hears Bo and looks at him. The dude that keeps it real signals her to sit next to him. The drummer reels in her line to stand up and walks to Bo.
"What is it?" Lilith kindly asked.
"I have an idea to help us both pass this challenge," Buford said. "We need to catch three fish, a redfish, and a bluefish. If we encounter extra fish; for example, you find two blues. You give me one. I catch two reds then I'll give one to you."
"Sounds like a nice plan," Lilith bubbly said. She walks back to her spot to continue to fish.
"That was easy," Buford admitted. He thought Lilith would be more hesitant to agree. He hears footsteps around and sees Sua walking around. He would like to find out what she is planning, but he does not want anyone like Caleb to sabotage him without noticing.
Sua skips around the dock and stops once she sees the fishing rods and various full buckets. She smirks and makes sure to push the stuff into the river gently and soundlessly. Satisfied with her sabotage in case someone needs replacements, the idol goes back to the spot she left her fishing rod. She takes the rod and hums a Korean song to herself.
All of a sudden, she notices the bobber shaking. A fish must have hooked. She tries to reel in her prey but whatever is inside the river begins pulling back. The creature sends Sua into the river and the idol creates a splash of water.
Fenton and JJ are near each other fishing quietly.
"This is nice. We do not have to think too much. Is just fishing," Fenton assured his friend.
JJ looks around the dock and sees the majority of the remaining competitors already having two fish on them with the exception of Sua who is gone. The silent clown decides to reel in her bobber connected to her hook. She places her rod to her left and stands up.
Fenton looks at his friend curiously. JJ takes three distinct kinds of fish out of her wig. Then a redfish and bluefish. She grabs the fish with her arms and begins heading to the airboats.
Buford saw this and baffles. "Oh, come on, that has to be against the rules," He exclaimed at Chef who is doing observation duty.
Chef watches JJ put her fish onto an airboat.
"She used her wig to get the fishes," Buford told the cook.
Chef does not care. "Girl fished them out of her wig. It still counts as fishing."
Confessional – Buford
His left eye twitches a bit. "Caleb maybe the 'one' to take down, but no one is giving a damn about how JJ is being dominant?"
End Confessional
"Hey JJ," Fenton called out to his friend.
JJ is inside the airboat about to turn the vehicle on. She smiles at her friend.
"How about you take fishes out of your wig and give it to me. That way we both can finish the challenge," Fenton suggested.
JJ looks at Fenton conflicted. Sure, she would gladly help her friend to ace the challenge. However, she does not want him to accidentally depend on her. So, she takes a redfish and bluefish out of her wig and gives them to Fenton. Then she turns on the airboat.
"Wait, what about the other fish?" Fenton asked, but the silent clown cannot hear him due to the motor running.
JJ drives away from the dock.
Confessional – Fenton
"Why did she leave me all by myself?" The short kid spoke, feeling hurt.
End Confessional
Buford and Lilith are swapping fish with each other. Then they count their fish.
"I have a redfish and three fishes," Lilith said.
"I have a bluefish and three fishes," Buford replied.
Both alliance members look at each other.
"You find a red and I find a blue," Buford proposed.
"Deal," Lilith agreed and the two share a fist bump.
Confessional – Buford
"Despite her annoying questions, Lilith is proving to be alright in my book."
End Confessional
Sua swims out of the river and onto the dock with a thud. She has two fish in her left arm. In her right arm, she has a redfish and bluefish. Lastly, she has a generous size fish in her mouth. She spits out the fish to speak.
"Well, that was easier than I thought," Sua happily said. Part of the dock under her begins to crack. "Oh, come on!" Part of the dock under her then begins to collapse into the river, including Sua herself.
In another part of the dock, Caleb finally has all the fish he needs and proceeds to laugh about his victory. Axel notices his enemy putting the fish and Marty's camera onto an airboat. The ruthless gentleman growls. He cannot let the dude achieve immunity. He needs to be taken out now.
Axel gazes at his pile of fish. He is missing a bluefish and a redfish. He looks at Tamera's pile and notices she has the fish he is missing. He takes a deep breath and runs up to the vixen's pile.
Tamera hears his footsteps and looks at him. "Hey Axel, what you're doing?"
Axel wastes no time talking with the vixen and takes the redfish and bluefish for himself.
"Axel?" Tamera spoke confused. She stops fishing and stands up to watch what is going on.
Axel takes his fish pile and proceeds to head to the airboat section. Tamera notices Caleb starting the airboat he is on and drives away. Then she sees Axel rapidly put the fishes he has and the two he took from her onto another airboat.
"Oh no," Tamera said, having a bad feeling about what is to occur.
The scene changes to JJ arriving on her airboat at the other side of the river. She notices Chris standing on the swampy grounds. She parks her airboat, turns it off, and throws the fish out of the boat to land on the ground.
"Congrats JJ for being the first to get here," Chris applauded. "There's really no prize for getting here first. Unless you want the gold tent all to yourself for the next few days."
JJ turns her head side to side, indicating no.
"Yeah, I had a feeling you'll allow the others to join. But I have to make sure the losers know that they are losers. So, you are going to be by yourself in the gold tent for the next days," Chris told.
JJ gives a thumbs up while still smiling.
"You know, you remind me of a few teens that I actually like throughout my time in this series," Chris acknowledged.
Back at the docks, Fenton is struggling by himself. Not because he has not caught any fish. He has three at the moment. No, is because he is alone. He looks at his reflection in the water.
Once he finishes fishing, he will have to decide which airboat to take. But they are all the same. Why does he have to constantly struggle to pick a decision? This one is not even hard. Is that why JJ left him? To try to help him make his own decision alone.
As Fenton continues to look at his reflection, something begins to rise from the river. He rapidly lets go of his fishing rod and then gets out of the potential splash zone. Sua rises once again from the river with more fishes now on her. Some fishes with teeth are biting parts of her body.
"Hey Fenton," Sua greeted, smiling through the pain. "Please help."
Fenton takes out all the fishes that are biting the idol and puts them into a perfect pyramid pile. He notices the bite marks and ripped clothing of Sua.
"Do you need medical treatment?" Fenton worryingly asked.
"Tis but a scratch," Sua assured him she is fine. "Let us assist one another. I got extra fish just for you. All you have to do is drive one of the airboats for us to pass the challenge."
"Sure," Fenton agreed and the two begin carrying fish to the airboats.
Buford and Lilith are still waiting for each other to trade fish, but neither of them has caught the one each needs. Both watch Sua and Fenton head to the airboats.
"Let's switch spots," Bo and Lilith said at the same time.
Around the river is Caleb driving the airboat he hopped on.
"Second place, not too shabby for myself," Caleb gloated. "Better than coming in last." He checks the right mirror of the airboat, noticing Axel approaching in his own airboat.
"Great," Caleb muttered sarcastically.
Axel in his airboat is now neck and neck with Caleb's.
"You're going down," Axel exclaimed while driving. "I'm making sure you're eliminated for good today."
"Oh, I am so scared," Caleb mocked the gentleman. "As if you can put a dent on me. How long have you been wanting to get rid of Tamera and me? You are terrible at this game. You're too… soft."
Just like that, Caleb unleashes Axel's ruthless side. The gentleman rams his airboat against Caleb's to damage it.
"How's that for a dent?" Axel taunted, looking excited to ram more. He does so two more times. "Too soft, am I?"
"Ugh, you're going to break the airboat apart," Caleb told annoyed.
"That's the idea genius," Axel shouted.
The two notice a grove of trees in front of them. Axel stops his assault so the two can avoid crashing into one of the trees in the river. Once the area is clear the ruthless gentleman rams into Caleb's airboat once again.
"Alright, I'm done playing games," Caleb exclaimed aggravated.
"Me too!" Axel shouted and proceeds to go for one last strong slam.
Caleb takes Marty's camera with his right hand and looks at his enemy. "Lights out." He uses the camera to flash Axel in the face.
Axel groans once his eyes capture the flash. The gentleman cannot see and accidentally crashes into a tree. His vision is restored; he sees what has happened. "No!" Axel exclaimed and punched the airboat's steering wheel. The boat begins to sink.
Caleb laughs to celebrate his victory. No one can stop him from advancing into the final seven.
Confessional – Axel
He simply facepalms. There is no point in getting angry. He was warned and did not take notice. He is just disappointed.
End Confessional
"So, which airboat do we take?" Sua asked Fenton. The two are carrying their fishes in their arms.
"Um," Fenton said looking at the remaining five boats, and starts pointing. "That one, no, this one, perhaps the other, the one in front of us? I don't know!"
Sua gently puts her fish down. "Let me make it easier for you." She walks to a nearby tree and breaks a large durable branch.
"How though?" Fenton wondered as he watches the idol approaches one of the airboats. She uses the stick to break the controls of the airboat.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Fenton exclaimed horrified.
Sua proceeds to break the controls of another airboat happily.
"No, stop you don't have to do that," Fenton pleaded for the madness he is seeing to halt.
Sua destroys another airboat, leaving only two functioning. Once done, she looks at Fenton. "There you go, now choose between two."
Fenton sighs. "We'll go take the one on the left."
Confessional – Fenton
"Yeah, I knew I was going to regret this. Sua has the right idea, but her methods are not good."

Tamera, Buford, and Lilith arrive holding their fish in their arms and notice only one airboat does not have their buttons damaged. The three of them look at each other. Then toss all their fish onto the functioning airboat. Then they get onto it. Tamera pounces Buford.
"What are you doing?" Buford exclaimed, trying to get the vixen off him.
"Making sure you don't get ahead of me when making it to the other side," Tamera answered.
"Tamera, there's no point in fighting now when we are not even near the finish line," Lilith pointed out.
Tamera stops trying to claw Buford and gets up. "True, but I'm the one driving."
"Ugh, whatever. We are falling behind anyway," Buford stated annoyed, still laying on the airboat.
Confessional – Tamera
"Was it a clever idea to tackle Buford? No. Was it fun to do it? Yes."
End Confessional
Caleb arrives at the swampy grounds. He sees JJ and Chris. The handsome genius gets excited and parks his airboat. Then he tosses the fishes at Chris.
"Congrats at arriving second Caleb," Chris told.
"Thanks, is there any prize for second place?" Caleb asked.
"Nope, you get squat. JJ will be the only one being in the gold tent since she arrived first," Chris answered.
Caleb narrows his eyes at JJ. The clown simply waves at him contently.
Confessional – Caleb
"Really hope Sua doesn't cause herself to get eliminated today. I need her now more than ever. Having just Lilith is not going to cut it if the merge keeps going with the non-votes method."
End Confessional
Speaking of the idol, she is with Fenton, the latter driving the airboat around the river.
"This is much easier to drive than the teacup," Fenton admitted, feeling proud of himself managing the vehicle.
As the two continue to gaze at the swamp, Fenton abruptly stops the vehicle upon seeing Axel sitting on a sturdy tree branch. Since Sua did not know this, she falls onto the airboat flat on her face.
"Sorry," Fenton winced and apologized.
Sua gets up contently with her eyes twitching. "Is fine, could have warned me first."
"Hey you," Axel waved. "Can I get a ride?"
"Oh, sure," Fenton answered happily. Sua does not like this and pushes the competent sidekick out of the driver's seat. Then she drives the airboat away, leaving Axel on the tree.
"Wonder what got into her?" Axel pondered.
As Sua follows the signs to find the swamp ground, Fenton gets up and decides to confront her for the choice she made.
"What was that all about?" Fenton asked kindly.
"Axel is a meanie. That is what Caleb told me," Sua answered as she drives.
"Caleb?" Fenton questioned. "Axel is a meanie? Is he that bad? The only time he did something awful was betraying the alliance during the laser tag challenge," Fenton spoke.
This makes Sua wonder. "Yes, Axel is a bad person like Lisa. That is what Caleb told me."
"Have you ever seen Axel do something awful?" Fenton requested.
Sua thinks some more. "No, but um…"
"Sorry for interrupting, but I think you're going against the wrong dude," Fenton told. "Caleb went back on an alliance he made and was messing with me and Kylie's heads during the golf challenge."
"Yes, but he gave me the immunity idol," Sua tried to defend the handsome genius.
Fenton goes for another inquiry. "Did he give you the immunity idol or was he forced to do it?"
This makes Sua ponder even more. She scowls and speeds up the airboat by pulling the throttle, almost sending Fenton out of the vehicle.
Confessional – Sua
"Me working for Caleb? He should be the one siding with me. He's the one everyone hates." The idol takes a deep breath and calms down. "But he did suggest me to break into the museum. If it wasn't for that I might be out of the game now. But guess what? I don't give a darn."

Tamera is still driving the vehicle she, Buford, and Lilith are on.
"Think we should throw her overboard when we get close?" Buford whispered to Lilith. Both are making sure the fish they collected does not bounce into the river.
"Sounds mean, we'll just take our fish and get out first," Lilith whispered back.
"But she's going to fight us to prevent that from happening," Buford countered.
"More like you than me, no offense," Lilith countered.
"Fine, I'll do it myself," Buford said, still keeping his voice quiet.
Tamera stops the airboat once she sees Axel sitting on the same tree branch he was on before.
"Axel? What the heck?" Tamera exclaimed. "You got some nerve taking my…"
"Just let me get on the boat, okay?" Axel interrupted rudely.
"Wow, he's pissed," Lilith concurred.
"I warned him," Buford said, having a feeling what could have happened to Axel being up there.
At the swamp grounds, Chef approaches Chris while JJ and Caleb are patiently waiting for the other contestants to show up.
"All of them are on an airboat," Chef told Chris.
"Good," The host responded. "Looks like this challenge is going to end quicker than I expected."
"Speaking of quick," Caleb said, getting everyone's attention in seeing Sua and Fenton arriving.
Sua parks the airboat then heads out with her fish to deliver them to Chris. Fenton does get out of the vehicle with his fish as well.
"Sua and Fenton," Chris called the two. "Congrats on making it. Both of you are safe for another day."
"Hooray," Sua cheered, letting go of her fish. She then looks at Caleb who gives her a thumbs up. The idol turns her back much to the dirty blonde's confusion.
Fenton approaches JJ with a friendly smile. "Hey, we need to talk about what you did after the challenge."
JJ nods slowly, knowing what her friend wants to talk about.
"I see the others," Chef called.
Everyone at the swamp ground watches the four arrive. Tamera parks the airport. Just as she does this Lilith quickly grabs her fish and heads to Chris. Buford on the other hand pushes Tamera into the river then grabs his fish.
"You had plenty of time to grab your fish and get off the airboat," Axel told Bo.
Buford gets jumps onto the ground. "I needed to make sure…"
"No, you did it because you wanted to," Axel exposed.
Buford shrugs. "I know what I did and needed to do it. Just keeping it real dude. You can say I did it for payback, but I also did it to buy me time. So, I ain't telling a fib."
Axel forms his hands into fists but does nothing. He decides to help Tamera get out of the river.
"Lilith and Buford, congrats on you two not arriving last," Chris said. "Both stay in the game."
Buford and Lilith high five each other. This makes Caleb believe they are working together. Chris did say there are small alliances afoot.
Tamera, soaking wet puts her six fish in front of Chris. "Done."
"Great, with you safe that means Axel is eliminated from the game," Chris announced. This shocks Tamera.
"Huh?" The vixen spoke.
"He arrived with no fish, so he does not get another dish," Chris rhymed. "I'll see you all at the calamity ceremony for whoever wants to say goodbye to Axel."
"Wait, but…," Tamera wonders what to do. She does not want Axel to go. "I'll give my fish to Axel so he can stay. I volunteer to eliminate myself."
This action catches everyone by surprise.
"Tamera, careful with what you are saying," Chris warned the vixen. "If I make it official that's the end of your run."
"So be it, Axel deserves it more than me," Tamera responded.
Chris smiles. "Well, in that case, I announce you…"
"Stop," Axel exclaimed. "Tamera is not going anywhere. I lost fair and square. I got too worked up on wanting to take someone out." He briefly glances at Caleb. "Now I'm paying for the consequences."
"But Axel," Tamera said.
The ruthless gentleman turns around to look at the vixen.
"You're not changing my mind Tamera. Besides, between you and me, you are more capable of winning this. I believe in you," Axel said, giving full support.
Tamera getting emotional hugs Axel tightly. "I'll win this. For me, you, and Hilda. I'll also make sure you get that charity foundation."
"Really?" Axel skeptically said.
"Of course you idiot. My dad is a CEO remember. I'm sure I can figure out a way to make your wish come true," Tamera answered.
Axel gently hugs Tamera back. "Thank you."
Fenton, JJ, and Lilith are on the verge of tearing up.
"Alright, everyone back to the tents to get ready for tonight's ceremony," Chris told the contestants.
Confessional – Caleb
He sighs with relief. "Alright, I finally got rid of that softy. Ever since the racing challenge I have been wanting him out. Now there are six left in my way. I have to talk to Lilith and Sua pronto. Need to make sure they are loyal to me."
Confessional – Lilith
"Woo final seven! This is so exciting. Feel bad for Axel though, he was trying really hard to great rid of Caleb. This might sound harsh but I'm kind of glad that happened since Caleb going home puts me in a bad spot. Still, it stinks whenever a great person has to leave the competition."
Confessional – JJ
The clown looks at a watch to look at the time. She hears a knock outside the photo booth. Fenton looks inside.
"I'm ready to talk," Fenton told. "Are you?"
JJ nods and heads out of the photo booth.
End Confessionals
The two friends are sitting on a stool at the Bargaby Bludiddle Hut. No one is there attending the place, so it is surprising that all the items on the counter have not been taken.
"Why did you leave me?" Fenton asked JJ. "We're friends."
JJ finds a notebook and pencil on the counter and begins writing her thoughts. She rips a sheet of paper from the notebook and passes it to her friend.
"You wanted me to make decisions on my own?" Fenton read the paper. "I kind of figured. But you should have told me before heading off."
JJ gives an unamused blank stare.
"Okay yeah, I probably would have insisted you to stay," Fenton realizes then chuckles. "Thanks for trying to help me out. I know you want me to come out of my shell if I am phrasing that correctly. I did decide between two airboats today thanks to Sua. That's a start."
JJ claps happily for her friend.
"So, what now?" Fenton wondered.
JJ takes a picture of Caleb out of her wig.
"Takedown Caleb? You know what? Sure," Fenton agreed.
The two five each other.
A new scene commences with the sun descending in the background. Buford heads inside the brown tent and sees Axel eating his last meal on the show. Which is gruel.
"Hey man, is Tamera around?" Buford asked.
"She went to take a shower about two minutes ago," Axel answered.
Buford gets closer to the eliminated contestant. "I want to apologize for not teaming up with you earlier. I've been wanting to get rid of Caleb myself for some time now."
"Save it," Axel harshly told Bo. "You knew what you were doing. I don't dislike you for not wanting to team up against Caleb. We both could have crashed into each other. What I don't like is you coming in to apologize to me for emptiness. Don't try to make yourself the big man. Funny how we have something in common. We both like to be polite with others but don't hesitate to get rid of our enemies when we need to. But unlike you, I know how to keep my mouth shut."
"What are you getting at?" Buford spoke as his eyes narrowed.
Axel gets out of his seat to get close to the tall dude and be faced to face.
"Advice from a guy who got eliminated, words can start a fire in someone's heart or pour it out. Don't be surprised if what you have said in the past comes back to bite you," Axel warned.
The gentleman leaves the brown tent. Buford is processing what has been said to him. All of the people he upset are gone. Sua is too unstable to consider gunning for him. Plus, Lilith is now in an alliance with him. He brushes off what Axel told him.
"Man, that guy is salty on losing," Buford spoke
Caleb, Lilith, and Sua are at the carnival booths.
"I need to make sure you two are sticking with me alright," Caleb told the ladies. "Without me, you two will be at the bottom."
Lilith and Sua can tell Caleb feels like he is losing power. The two just nodded, letting the handsome genius know they will stay by his side. At least, that is what it seems.
"Good, now I need to know Lilith about you and Buford. Better not lie to me," Caleb warned.
Lilith makes a poker face. "Buford and I are in our own alliance to make myself safe. I did vote for Kylie since you told me to. Means I'm in your side, correct?"
Caleb looks skeptically at the goth to try to find body language that can say otherwise, but nothing. "Very well, we will meet up every morning from now on." The handsome genius leaves. All of a sudden it feels like everything he is doing is all in vain.
Lilith looks at Sua smiling. "It has been a while since we have talked to each other. How are you holding up?"
Sua is caught off guard by the goth's sweet nature. "Oh, I'm doing fine."
"You sure?" Lilith questioned. She senses doubt.
"I swear I'm fine," Sua stated.
"Alright, I won't pester further," Lilith guaranteed. "Though, I want to apologize for asking those unsettling questions to you. I have noticed that it has affected you greatly."
"Oh no need to apologize. You talking about those subjects helped turned me into who I truly am. For that, I'm forever grateful," Sua stated. "Now, let us get rid of Caleb, shall we? I believe is time to send him packing."
"Axel is not in the game anymore, so our chances are much better than before. Yeah, we can sneakily get rid of Caleb," Lilith agreed to the plan.
Confessional – Lilith
She shows signs of regret. "Did I accidentally turn Sua into a monster?"

Before the elimination ceremony, Saraphina is outside the carnival entrance holding Scarlett's handcuff arms. Lucy is next to them eating a salad standing.
"Rosalina said she'll be arriving in a few minutes," Lucy told her co-worker.
"She better," Saraphina responded. "We can't leave Christopher down there by himself."
As the two ladies conversate, Scarlett starts to feel something happening to her feet. She swallows the painful sensation to not draw attention to herself. Upon speculating down, the brainiac witnesses her feet and legs turning into that of grasshopper legs. Her right hand turns into two antennas of a grasshopper. At first, she is horrified turning into a mutant. However, this can give her a chance to escape.
Scarlett decides to use the back of her head to hit Saraphina's nose. Sara groans in pain and lets go of the mutated brainiac.
"You haven't seen the last of me!" Scarlett declared. She uses her now grasshopper-like hind jointed legs to leap away from the scene.
"Well, that's a problem," Lucy told Saraphina.
After Scarlett's escape, time passes and now it is night. Chris, Chef, Axel, and the remaining contestants are at the calamity ceremony. No one is standing on the bleachers. All seven players have their popcorn bags. They are just here to say goodbye to Axel.
"Welp, this is the end of my run," Alex spoke. He has his luggage with him. "Any final words?"
"I think a hug is all we need to do," Fenton suggested.
Everyone minus Caleb give a hug to the gentleman. Chef then takes Axel to the lame-o-sine.
Chris looks at a camera to end the episode. "Seven players remain, but it looks like is everyone against Caleb."
"Say what?" Caleb heard and spoke off-screen.
Chris continues to end the episode, ignoring the concerned teen. "Will he be able to survive another day, or will the other six contestants try to take each other out? How can Tamera survive without Axel? How will Fenton and JJ's friendship continue throughout the game? Can Buford manage to shut up for once? And which side Lilith will pick to determine her next game plan? Find out next time on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"
Axel is inside the lame-o-sine, reflecting on what he did in the carnival.
Rosalina is driving and can sense the tension and quietness. She sighs in frustration on wanting to ask him a question.
"How are you feeling?" The limo driver asked.
"Honestly, mixed with a lot of stuff on my mind," Axel admitted. "All that I can say right now is that it was a good run. I know I could have played better, but in the end, I made friends and potentially have what I desperately wanted when I signed up."
"If you still have frustrations, I suggest you deal with it before stepping into the aftermath," Rosalina suggested.
"There's an aftermath?" Axel wondered.
"Yep, and considering what went down in the last one… I'm sure you'll handle it," Rosalina halfheartedly joked.
"Well, better prepare myself," Axel said. He then looks out the right-side window door to see the city." The bonus scene fades into black.

Author's Note: There goes Axel. Once he bonded with Tamera it was only a matter of time before either of them leaves the game. Sadly, it was Axel's ruthlessness and grudge that solidified his send-off. Though there are positives. He made friends along the way and Tamera is going to try to fulfill his wanting of the five million dollars.
