Merge
Boys: Buford, Fenton, and Caleb
Girls: JJ, Tamera, and Lilith
Flashbacks of the previous episode occur. Chris is narrating those events. "Last time on Total Drama Carnival Calamity. The final seven had to train an animal to perform a trick to entertain Chef and me. Sua got a penguin, JJ a clownfish, Fenton a bear, Buford an alligator, Lilith a spider, Caleb a platypus, and Tamera a squirrel."
"After some shenanigans training the animals, it was time to perform. Earlier the day everyone wanted to team up against Caleb. However, Sua, being a bringer of chaos decides to turn her penguin into a saboteur. This escalated things quickly since the goal was to disrupt Buford's alligator. While the sabotage was fun, Sua crossed the line with her bucket of surprises. This made the idol turn psycho disqualified from the competition."
The flashbacks end. Chris is shown sitting on the roller coaster ride. It looks like he is about to read something from a piece of paper. "We at Total Drama do not accept animal cruelty." He tosses the paper and chuckles. "Who is taking a ride today in the lame-o-sine? Find out now on…."
Chris screams as the roller coaster suddenly moves rapidly. Chef is shown snickering, having pulled the lever to start the ride.
"Total," Chris said as he passes around.
"Drama"
"Carnival Calamity!"
The host then is heard puking off-screen.
The intro begins, with a camera popping out from a large pot containing Chef's revolting gruel, then from a bird's nest on a roller coaster sign entrance, and then from a carnival booth with pink stuff animals next to it. A smooth transition from a roller coaster descending to the three tents in the carnival is shown. A clapper pops up to commence the action.
Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine
A camera drone enters the blue tent showing Chris McLean taking a shower, his upper body exposed while the rest of him is covered with a towel. He notices the camera drone and hits it with a bar of soap.
You guys are on my mind
The camera drone gets out of the tent and shows Tamera and Caleb driving bumper cars in the bumper car attraction. They collide with each other. The impact causes an explosion.
You asked me what I wanted to be,
The camera drone shows Sua and Lily walking on the Penguin Emporium ice to catch some penguins.
and I think the answer is plain to see
Sua accidentally trips on the ice, slides into the cold pool, and gets frozen.
I wanna be famous!
Marty is swimming up from a different pool in his swimsuit, but the editing makes it look like it was in the cold one. Upon catching some air, he winks at Kylie and Meredith who are near the exit of the tall slide. Both are also wearing swimsuits.
I wanna live close to the sun
JJ is putting her clown makeup on in the confessional photo booth.
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won
Maverick and Fenton are inside a haunted house looking at a coffin. Maverick opens the coffin and Lilith pops out to reveal herself. This causes Fenton to scream and run away.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
Boris and Elsa are shown competing in an arcade fighting game machine in the arcade center. Both are smirking at each other. Garry waits patiently in a chair for his turn.
I'll get there one day
The lights suddenly turn off and a laser tag fight is shown between Melissa, Buford, and Edgar using laser guns. Melissa gets competitive and shoots at the two boys, causing them to get electrocuted. She looks at them with concern.
Cuz' I wanna be famous
Gabriel is near the carousal explaining politics on a chalkboard to Axel and Hilda who are interested in his talk.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Lucy, Duncan, Noah, Scarlett, and Chef are shown drinking Crowstillo wine and connecting their glass cups to celebrate their break. Lucy however maintains a sturdy look at Scarlett.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
Blue smoke appears engulfing the sight of the camera drone. The Ringleader shows himself with a rascally smirk before dropping a grenade that explodes green grass.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
At the aftermath studio, Lisa and Jett are sitting on the center couch. Lisa goes for a kiss to her crush, but Jett is conflicted on whether to kiss her back or not. Before he can decide Georgia pushes the two off the couch so she can sit there. Christopher sits next to her co-host. The two of them whistle as the camera drone zooms out to show the Calamity Cast, the aftermath hosts, Chris, and Chef whistling as well. Above them is a sign that lights up with the words Total Drama Carnival Calamity.
The episode starts with Chaos X and the Ringleader entering their white van. No one is speaking a word, but the atmosphere feels tense. Where are Chaos X and Ringleader heading?
At the carnival, the final six contestants are inside the gold tent. Since Sua was disqualified from the competition and the previous challenge could not be finished, everyone gets to be there.
Each player is eating pancakes, eggs, milk, and bacon. Buford has a funny feeling some big challenge is about to go down. He has had this meal multiple times already, but today feels different. Maybe it's the tensity of being so close to the finale. For the past few days, everyone is gunning for Caleb. But what happens if he gets eliminated? Will Bo be the next target or Tamera? Such pain. He does not want to work with the handsome genius.
Caleb is responsible for Meredith's elimination. No way he can side with that jerk. Wait, he has that deal with Lilith. Buford starts getting a headache and stops strategizing. Finish breakfast, then think of a way to solidify your chance into the final five.
Lilith is eating her food content. Yes, the guilt of betrayal towards Caleb lingers in her mind. However, is not like the handsome genius is a saint. He brought this upon himself. The gothic drummer does not need to worry. She has Buford as her ally. Though, one thing remains in her mind. If Caleb ever leaves, who will she have to target next?
Tamera, the teenager that was once a person desperate for attention and spotlight has shown growth throughout her stay in the game. She knows if the other Sleek Slushie leaves she can become a target. JJ and Fenton are close friends. Lilith lost Sua as an ally, but she has a feeling the goth is working with Buford. If she loses, she loses. But the vixen will do her absolute best to take down Caleb.
Since the taming challenge with the bear, Fenton is more confident than ever. Sure, he is still unsure on how to proceed with the rest of the game, but two things are certain. JJ will stick by his side and Caleb is going down. Still, he will have to make choices by himself eventually, and that day is soon to arrive.
JJ is the most relaxed out of the six players remaining. Yes, she was almost voted off during the final ten. Yet that is not stopping her from winning with the power of clowning and friendship. Her smiles rarely faded throughout the game. Plus, she has been excellent in almost every challenge. Even if she loses, she is going out with excitement.
Caleb is the person everyone is against right now. His back has been against the wall since the merge. He convinced Lisa into rigging the votes against Meredith. Though, that was sort of unintentional. He messed with Kylie and Fenton's head, being part of the reason, they broke up. Played mind games on JJ and tried to dump that vixen before she can ruin his plans. He still finds it odd that Lilith is out to get him. Maybe she read too much of his application.
Nevertheless, he survived four eliminations in the merge. He is planning to escape his karma time and time again until he wins those million dollars. Caleb smirks proudly, probably having already attained something he can find useful for today's challenge. Whatever that is.
Tamera notices the boy's smirk. "What are you smiling about?"
"Oh, just the fact I escaped four times an elimination," Caleb confidently said. He is not going to let this get to his head, but he has to mess with the minds of his opponents to perhaps attain an advantage during the challenge. Anyone can pull an Axel.
"Wipe that smirk off your face dude. Can't get too cocky," Buford advised.
"Thanks Bo, I knew you would make sure I don't slip up to cause myself the game," Caleb spoke.
All eyes glance at Buford.
"Oh, come on, he's obviously twisting the words I said," Buford defended himself.
"You are a sketchy person," Tamera admitted. What? She still likes to cause a bit of drama. They are semi-allies anyway, not like the tall dude can do anything to her.
"Can we eat our breakfast in peace?" Fenton politely asked.
"I don't know, Caleb being silent like this worries me," Lilith admitted. Of all of the contestants still in the game, she knows the most about the handsome dude.
"Then let's keep having a conversation," Tamera told the goth. She then looks at the silent clown. "So, JJ, what's your favorite pie?"
JJ knows what the vixen was getting at but does not mind the jab. She takes a pineapple out of her wig.
Buford grumbles and crosses his arms.
"Something wrong Bo?" Lilith asked her alliance buddy.
"Is nothing," Buford answered. "I just wonder what that wig can't do."
Confessional – Caleb
He takes a small ball out of the right pocket of his dark green shorts. The ball is red and pink, resembling close to JJ's wig.
"It can't take a cut from a pair of scissors. Last night while the rest of those fools were taking a shower, I cut out a piece of JJ's wig to keep it. I made sure to not make the cut noticeable. Thought, at first it wasn't easy to get."
FLASHBACK
It is night as Caleb heads inside the gold tent. As he stated, while everyone is taking a shower, he goes to JJ's sleeping bag and opens it. There he sees the clown's wig. He grabs it with his left hand, but when he does a bear trap chomps on his hand.
Caleb groans in pain as he tries not to scream which can cause attention. He uses his right hand to take out the bear trap. He breaths in then out. Next, the dirty blond grabs a scissor from his pants and cautiously cuts a piece of JJ's wig.
END FLASHBACK
"Now, watch as I demonstrate the power I now possess," Caleb told the audience. He juggles the pink-red ball a bit until he grabs it with his left hand. Then he uses his right hand to take out Marty's camera from the ball.
"See that? I can put all my items in just one ball."
The handsome genius puts the camera back into the ball. Then he takes out his grappling hook and three silver balls.
"My game just got a whole lot easier. Nobody is going to figure out what I did as long as the ball stays in my pocket."
End Confessional
The contestants finish eating breakfast. Caleb happily leaves the others alone. There is no point in staying with them in the first place. He can play mind games during the challenge.
Tamera looks at her left to see Fenton and JJ doing sign language. Then she looks to her right to see Lilith blabbering about her questions to Buford, who is probably tuning them out by thinking about sports.
"Hey, um, guys, I'm… feeling lonely," Tamera spoke. "I get that each of you knows each other more than me, but we can talk together."
"What would you like to talk about?" Fenton asked.
Tamera thinks about how to answer that. She cannot say herself. Even though she would love doing it. Maybe set up an icebreaker then talk about how awesome she is.
"What are…"
Suddenly, the speakers throughout the carnival turn on.
"Oh, come on!" Tamera exclaimed annoyed.
"Attention campers, meet me at the high striker for today's first challenge!" Chris exclaimed.
Confessional – Fenton
He is confused by the attraction's name. "High striker? Must be a new ride."
Confessional – Buford
He smirks. "High striker? Guess I'm winning the first challenge." He chuckles. "Not to brag, but I'm the only one left with these guns." He flexes his muscles to make his point.
Confessional – Lilith
"I remember that game at various fairs. Too bad is more of testing your strength than endurance. Big difference there."
Confessional – Tamera
"Luckily that's the first challenge. Pretty sure Buford gets an automatic win." An idea comes to her head. "Unless…"
End Confessionals
The six remaining contestants arrive at the high striker. Chris and Chef soon enter the scene. The cook is holding a brown mallet in his hands, snickering at the contestants to intimidate them, which works.
The high striker is a tall one-piece yellow wood tower with black numbers on it. The numbers indicate how many feet the puck has gone up. Speaking of the silver puck, it is attached to one end of a red lever on the ground connected to the wood. The other end of the lever is empty. On the end of the tower towards the sky, it has a red bell.
"Final six, the finale is just almost less than a week away," Chris informed. "Are you all excited?"
"Yes!" All the players exclaimed at the same time.
"That's the spirit!" Chris hyped up the teens. "Now, for today's first challenge. Each contestant will be using the mallet Chef has to try to send the puck high enough to ring the bell. How? By using the mallet to hit the empty part of the lever. Think of it as a seesaw. Whichever contestants ring the bell gets an advantage in the second challenge."
"Does everyone need to do this?" Buford asked the host. "Because I'm pretty sure the only one ringing that bell is me."
"I'm going to make sure you eat those words," Tamera boasted. "You're not going to be the only one ringing that bell."
"Yeah, I'm also going to be ringing that bell," Fenton declared.
JJ looks at her friend perplexed. Fenton notices this and sighs.
"Maybe Chris and Chef rigged the game so everyone can win?" Fenton tried to look through a positive side. He knows he is most likely will not ring that bell.
"Knowing how they work, I doubt it," Lilith responded.
Caleb takes out one of the mushrooms he picked in the log challenge out of his ball and eats it.
"Step right up folks and test your strength in the high striker. Only one shot to receive that advantage. Who will volunteer first?" Chris offered.
Caleb walks to Chef to grab the mallet. He then approaches the high striker. Once in position, he raises the mallet to his shoulders and whacks the lever. The silver puck skyrockets into hitting the bell. Everybody's mouth opens up, utterly shocked to see what just happened.
Caleb gives the mallet to Fenton. The competent boy can barely even hold the mallet.
"Your turn pipsqueak," Caleb insulted with a smile on his face.
Confessional – Caleb
"Yeah, I decided to taste those shrooms during my free days. Turns out they give you a boost in strength, speed, and stamina. The only side effect is getting hallucinations. Though, it explains why this carnival could have been built fast."
End Confessional
"Fenton, step right up," Chris said.
Fenton walks to the high striker. As he raises the mallet in his hands, he falls to the ground.
"Pathetic," Caleb mocked.
Determine, Fenton gets back up and steadily holds the mallet. He puts all his strength into the swing and shouts for victory. Sadly, the puck does not even reach halfway to the tower.
"At least I tried," Fenton spoke. He leaves the mallet on the lever, not feeling comfortable holding it again.
As Lilith goes to grab the mallet, JJ takes off her clown shoes. The clown then takes out shoes with large springs under them from her wig. She puts the spring shoes on.
Lilith lets out a battle cry as she swings the mallet into the lever. The puck makes it farther than Fenton, but not enough to ring the bell. The gothic drummer shrugs. She expected this to happen.
JJ begins bouncing on her spring shoes. Then she leaps next to the mallet, grabs it, and springs into the air. She raises the mallet while in the air. Once descending she thwacks the lever with the mallet. The puck rapidly hits the bell in no time.
"Wow, impressive thinking JJ," Chris complimented the clown. "You get a sweet advantage in the second challenge."
"Impressive thinking?" Buford questioned flabbergasted and annoyed. "She just took out whatever contraption was in her wig."
"Someone's jealous," Tamera taunted.
"Whatever," Buford shrugged, still annoyed. "You will feel jealous when I get the advantage."
Bo takes the mallet from the lever and readies himself.
Tamera is about to continue taunting the tall dude until Lilith puts her left hand close to the vixen.
"You can mess with him when we get rid of Caleb. I rather not he be targeting you in the second challenge," Lilith advised.
Tamera pouts but decides to stay quiet.
Buford without a sweat easily lifts the mallet and sends it back down onto the lever. He knew he will ring the bell with ease, and he was right.
"Buford gets an advantage into the second challenge. Tamera, you're the last one to prove your strength," Chris told.
"Saving the best for last, like always," Tamera boasted. She goes to grab the mallet and hits the lever with it. She does better than Fenton and Lilith, but not enough to hit the bell.
"Well, that settles it. JJ, Buford, and Caleb get an advantage for the second challenge," Chris happily said.
"Stop pointing out the obvious," Caleb told the host.
"Yeah man, just lead us to the second challenge," Buford added.
"This high striker was boring, running out of ideas?" Tamera mocked.
"You three, shut it," Chris simply told, feeling a bit hurt.
A new scene emerges with Chris, Chef, and the six contestants at the roller attraction. Not at the entrance, the place where you can get on the ride.
The vehicle is still a dirty green color with a symbol of a dragon breathing fire. All eight seats are empty.
"Ah, the roller coaster," Chris said as he sighs happily. He turns around to face Chef and the final six. "Remember how you teens got in here to be decided by teams?"
"Um, Chris, that was only about two months ago," Fenton pointed, not trying to be rude.
"Yeah, we have good memory unlike you," Tamera insulted.
"If you're trying to make it sound nostalgic, you're failing," Buford added.
"Let me enjoy myself," Chris frowned. "Anyway, today's second challenge is much more dangerous than the first."
"Considering how the merge challenges have been going I highly doubt that," Tamera told the host.
"I guess without Axel you're turning back into that loveable a-hole everyone laughs," Caleb sarcastically said.
"Well, I am loveable," Tamera said then chuckles.
Lilith and Buford glance at the vixen, not agreeing with what Tamera said.
JJ uses her clown horn to get everyone's attention back to the host.
"Thank you JJ," Chris showed gratitude. "Before I explain the challenge, I need all of you to put on these shoes."
Chef is shown giving a pair of shoes to each player. The shoes are silver with black metal under them, and a knob attached to one side of each shoe.
"What's with the metal under these shoes?" Fenton asked the dashing host.
"Magnetism kid," Chris responded. "These shoes allow you to stay on any part of the roller coaster without needing to sit on the seats. You can also adjust how much magnetism the shoes can have in case you fall off the ride. That way the shoes will automatically find the nearest metal to stick with."
"Whoa, this does sound dangerous," Lilith excitedly spoke, having a goofy smile on her face.
"Why do we need to stick to the roller coaster?" Buford wondered.
"Is an option really," Chris informed.
"What is else is there to it?" Tamera questioned. "We must be collecting something around the rails since we need the shoes to be quick about it."
"Getting a bit ahead of yourself there Tamera," Chris told the vixen.
"Not really, we all can see the flags attach to the rails," Caleb pointed out.
He is right, there are a bunch of different color flags all over the rails of the ride.
"Moving on," Chris stated. "Raise your hand if you watched episode thirteen of Total Drama Island."
Buford, JJ, Caleb, and Lilith raise their hands.
"Four out of six. Good, means I don't have to explain that much." Chris said smiling. "For today's second challenge, each contestant will get on the roller coaster individually to grab as many flags as they can on the rails. Chef will make sure the ride is not too fast and not too slow. Each player will only be doing one lap, so make sure you grab as many flags as possible during the time. The contestant that gets the most flags at the end of the challenge wins the chance to eliminate the player of their choosing."
Dramatic music intensifies as each player's eyes wide up in fear. Like what the host said, whoever wins today can get rid of the player of their choosing.
Confessional – Caleb
"I was afraid there would come a challenge when someone gets to vote off the player of their choosing. In fact, it happened twice in Radiant Redemption. Still, even with the odds against me, the challenge is individual. Just need to get on that roller coaster first."
Confessional – Buford
"Hmm, JJ or Caleb? Caleb, or JJ?"
Confessional – Lilith
"Is pretty obvious who I'm picking if I win the challenge."
Confessional – JJ
The clown is shown holding an eight-by-ten photo of Caleb. She crosses it out with a red marker.
Confessional – Fenton
"Man, Caleb is probably going to win this challenge since it's one player per ride." He sighs with sadness. "The only way I can even try to stop him is… breaking the challenge's rule." He gulps as nerves start to develop in him.
Confessional – Tamera
"Before, I would most likely let Caleb stay and choose someone else to spice up the drama, but that sounds stupid. So what if I'm alone in the final five? I've practically been like that for most of the time being on this show. Letting Caleb stay is not going to change that."
End Confessionals
"Now that I explained the challenge, time to talk about the advantage Buford, Caleb, and JJ won," Chris spoke. "Which is an extra lap on the roller coaster."
"How is that fair?" Lilith questioned.
"Is not," Chris responded then chuckles.
Caleb quickly gets onto the roller coaster vehicle. His magnetic shoes are working like a charm. "Guess I'm up first."
"Wait, I just realized that the people who go last have a lesser chance of getting flags," Buford pointed out.
"Yeah, by that time all the flags could essentially be gone," Tamera added.
JJ nods agreeably.
"You snooze you lose," Caleb taunted his enemies.
Confessional – Caleb
"Honestly, I have no idea who to eliminate once I win the challenge. Buford is a physical threat, JJ is strong thanks to her wig, Fenton can slip under the radar, Lilith has incredible endurance, and Tamera has luck on her side. Seriously, how is she still in the game at this point?"
He continues on thinking who should he get rid of but stops. "Eh, I'll figure out who leaves after the challenge is over."
End Confessional
"Come on Chef, start the ride," Caleb told the cook impatiently.
Chef rolls his eyes as he heads to the machine lever to turn on the roller coaster.
Fenton watches while being conflicted. Axel made the mistake of targeting Caleb. However, that challenge was not designed to stop the handsome genius. This one either, but perhaps…
Fenton quickly turns on his magnetic shoes and leaps onto the rollercoaster vehicle. He is in the front row while Caleb is in the back row.
"Fenton, what are you doing?" Chris wondered.
"Yeah, wait your turn," Caleb told the short kid.
"No, I refuse to let you go by and stay in the game again," Fenton declared. "We both are going on this track together. Instead of just two laps, it will be three."
"You cannot be serious," Caleb told unamused.
"Fenton, get out of the rollercoaster and wait your turn," Chris instructed.
"I don't know Chris, Fenton's idea is pretty good," Tamera vouched for the competent sidekick. She talks as she gets on the rollercoaster vehicle. "All of us competing on one ride. Fighting for so many flags. Continuous laps to raise the stakes. Sounds like a climactic battle for the viewers to eat up, don't you think?"
Chris thinks about this idea. Lilith and JJ head onto the vehicle.
"Hey, hey, come on," Caleb complained. "Chris, tell them to get off."
"We will quit the show if he makes all of us not do the challenge we want it to be," Lilith declared.
"That's right," Fenton agreed.
JJ honks her clown horn to let everyone know her support.
"Would be ashamed if all of five of us left, wouldn't it?" Tamera smirkingly told Chris. "How would the producers and audience react to such an anti-climatic way to end the season?"
Chris looks at Chef who shrugs. The host then looks at Buford as does everyone else.
Bo notices the stares and gives in. "Alright, I'll do it. Beats having to wait for all of you to finish those laps." He makes sure his magnet shoes are set correctly and gets on the rollercoaster.
"You cannot let them do this," Caleb told Chris. "I demand you to stop them."
"Are you telling me what to do?" Chris questioned the handsome genius. "Tamera provided an excellent idea. New challenge! Every contestant will be on the ride to collect as many flags as possible in nine laps. Whoever has the most flags, in the end, gets to eliminate the player of their choice."
"Yes!" All the competitors cheer except for Caleb.
"No!" Caleb despised the new challenge.
"Happy collecting everyone," Chris waves goodbye.
Chef pulls down the lever. The rollercoaster vehicle starts to move.
Confessional – Caleb
"Ugh, I cannot believe Chris decided to change the challenge like that." He breaths in and out. "Doesn't matter, as long as I have this clown ball." He shows the ball of wig hair he took from JJ. "No one can stop me."
End Confessional
LAP 1/9
The six contestants are standing on the rollercoaster vehicle as it moves. The magnetic shoes prove to be effective.
"You're going down," Lilith told Caleb. "It's sayonara to you."
"Watch as I demonstrate how much of a fool you all are by doing this. Instead of being clowns, you all will be the entire circus," Caleb gloated.
JJ narrows her eyes at Caleb, not liking the insult.
Fenton notices three flags on the left rail coming by. He extends his left hand to grab them. Caleb notices this and thanks to the mushroom he consumed earlier giving him the great speed he needs to grab the flags first in his left hand. The handsome genius then uses his powered strength to kick Fenton away.
Fenton screams until JJ and Buford grab him.
"Dude, he could have fallen off and died," Bo told Caleb.
"Oh please, Chris already told us what to do if that happens. Not my fault if he makes his splash zone," Caleb said heartlessly.
Another three flags begin to show on the right rail. Tamera tries to collect them, but Caleb takes out three silver balls from his pocket and throws them at her. One misses but the other two hit Tamera's eyes. The vixen covers her eyes with her hands in pain. Caleb takes the three flags.
"Keep it up, I'm getting more pump to rub salt in the wound once I win," Caleb boasted.
As the six contestants go through curves on the ride, Tamera loses her balance since she still cannot see and falls off. Lilith grabs her left arm and lifts the vixen back into the ride.
"Thanks," Tamera expressed gratitude, her eyes now no longer hurting.
"I got a special gift for you," Caleb told Lilith. He takes a rainbow monkey stuff animal out of his pocket and tosses it to the goth with his right hand.
Lilith catches it in horror. "Ah! Its cuteness, it burns!" She throws it behind and the monkey hits JJ's face.
The clown does not mind the stuffed monkey since she puts it into her wig.
The ride starts to go up high.
"Hold on everyone, make sure the magnets resist the speed," Fenton warned everyone.
Once reaching the highest peak, the ride descends. Players make sure to balance themselves reaching down until passing the start of the ride. Now they are taking a different route.
LAP 2/9 Caleb – Six Flags
The contestants notice four more flags approaching on the left rail. Buford rapidly makes it to the front of the ride to confront Caleb.
"Step aside dude, those are mine," Buford told, not looking for a fight.
"Give me one second to think about it," Caleb said then smirked. "No." He takes a hockey stick out of his pocket and swings the stick at Bo.
Getting flashbacks from the concussion Sua gave, Buford immediately ducks to avoid the swing. Then he grabs the hockey stick, breaks it into two, and tosses the pieces into the wind. While he did this, Caleb gets the four flags in his left hand.
"For someone who is supposed to keep it real and on guard you sure do let things get to you," Caleb taunted.
Buford gets up close on Caleb, pulls on the handsome lad's shirt, and tries to take the flags from his enemy. Caleb makes sure to have his left hand behind his back.
"Give me those flags, now," Buford declared, wanting to win the challenge.
"Is this what you're going to do at home with Meredith," Caleb kept on provoking Bo to get angry.
Before Buford can do something else Caleb spits on his forehead. Buford retreats to the pack of the ride to calm himself and get off the spit in his forehead.
"Come on, at least try to take me down," Caleb proclaimed.
"Okay, I know you are a jerk, but you are getting way too cocky," Lilith told confused. "What gives?"
"Pfft, like I'll tell a trader like you," Caleb told the goth.
"Relax everyone, he is bound not to be able to get all the flags. After all, he only has two hands," Tamera assured everyone.
"You underestimate my power," Caleb said. He puts all ten flags he has collected into his right pocket. Somehow, none of them slip out.
This raises even more questions for JJ, Buford, Lilith, and Tamera. Fenton has a feeling of what is going on but cannot quite detect the true answer.
Caleb takes four more flags that are coming from the right rail. He cackles. "Come on, try to take the flags from me." He takes out a water gun to spray at his enemies. However, because of the wind, the water gets into his left eye. "Ah, should have been smarter than to do that." He puts the water gun back in his pocket.
Lilith tries to take the flags Caleb has in his left hand, but the conniving genius takes out a tiara to show it to the goth.
"No, I don't want to be prom queen mom stop forcing me," Lilith said looking at the tiara.
"Don't worry I got this," Tamera said confidently. She gets close to Caleb, but the ride starts going up again. It then goes down as the vehicle descends.
LAP 3/9 Caleb – Fourteen Flags
Tamera kicks Caleb's coconuts. The dirty blonde drops the tiara then falls off the moving vehicle.
"Oh gosh, I didn't think he would fall!" Tamera exclaimed in horror. She does not want to be a murderer.
"You kick him in his balloons. What were you expecting was going to happen?" Buford told the vixen.
"He lays on one of the seats," Tamera answered, still hoping Caleb's magnetic shoes save the dude from falling to the ground.
"Honestly, the most he would get is a full-body cast," Lilith stated. "Didn't Owen and Izzy survive being crushed by the jumbo jet?"
"I don't see any flags up ahead," Fenton said. "Did Chris forget some in this route?"
JJ shrugs. She does not know.
Confessional – Chris
"Dang it Noah, for once can you do your job right!"
Confessional – Noah
"No"
End Confessionals
As Caleb falls from the sky, he takes out his grabbling hook from his pocket. He aims at a rail far away. He takes his shot, and the hook attaches itself to the rail. The camera shows his face of anger as he swings under the rail. The swing is strong enough to send him into the air.
Just as the rollercoaster ride gets close, he lets go of the grabbling hook and lands on the ride, clearly pissed at Tamera.
"You ******* *****!" Caleb exclaimed at the vixen as he puts his four flags in his right pocket. "I could have died there."
"Oh please, Chris already told us what to do if that happens. Not my fault if you make your splash zone," Tamera mocked what Caleb said earlier.
"Alright, I'm making sure this track is mine alone," Caleb declared, no longer doing the challenge for fun. This is his game to win. Before he can do anything, the ride goes up the ramp again, then down, and finally to a different route.
LAP 4/9 Caleb – Fourteen Flags
Caleb takes out a handheld power cutter and begins cutting off the roller coaster so the part of the ride he is on goes faster.
"This dude is pulling a JJ in front of our own eyes," Buford told everyone. He looks at the silent clown. "Are you working with him?"
JJ takes out a sign out of her wig that says no in red. Caleb finishes cutting his side.
"See you all once the challenge is over suckers," Caleb shouted in victory. He throws the handheld power cutter away.
The five players on the other part of the rollercoaster notice their ride slowing down.
"I got this," Lilith declared as she puts a stick of grape flavor gum in her mouth. She chews on it until it is very sticky.
"Let me help you with that," Fenton said and stretches the gum from Lilith's mouth. He uses the gum he is holding and makes it into a rope.
"I'll throw it," Buford told Fenton and focuses on the rollercoaster part Caleb is on. He launches the grape gum rope, and it sticks to one of the seats.
Lilith is about to be launched off since part of the gum is still in her mouth, but Tamera and JJ hold her tight to prevent that.
Taking a curve, Caleb grabs five flags in each rail. "Now this is more like it."
Suddenly, he hears a thud behind him and loses a bit of balance. He turns around to see what happened. Lilith takes the gum out of her mouth and uses the gum to attach both cut parts of the rollercoaster.
"You five are not going to quit, are you?" Caleb questioned, showing a bit of respect for his opponents' dedication.
"Not until you're out," Tamera responded.
"We'll see about that," Caleb smirked as he puts the ten flags he took into his left pocket.
"Everyone, we need to have him stay in the back to prevent anymore flag scooping," Fenton told JJ, Buford, Tamera, and Lilith.
"Good luck with that," Caleb grinned. His mushroom speed is too strong.
Once again, the ride reaches the highest peak then descends into a different path.
LAP 5/9 Caleb – Twenty-four Flags
Caleb uses his speed to get out of the roller coaster and into the rails to grab eight more flags, four on each side of the rail. Then he goes back on the ride and punches everyone rapidly. He stays in the back just for fun.
"Did this guy find some toxic waste in this carnival or something?" Lilith wondered.
"Then why isn't he ugly?" Tamera asked the goth.
Caleb puts the flags in his right pocket then takes out a glowing mushroom.
"That's one of the mushrooms we found during the log challenge," Fenton exclaimed.
"Tch, no wonder he won the high striker," Buford realized.
This path is short, so the contestants make it to the next lap.
LAP 6/9 Caleb – Thirty-two Flags
JJ taps Fenton's left shoulder. She uses her hands to expand them wide then balls her hands into fists. The clown's friend nods in understanding.
"We need to build a wall," Fenton told Lilith, Tamera, and Buford.
"Huh?" The trio that was called said in unison.
"JJ wants us to protect the front side of the coaster as a wall to prevent Caleb from taking any more flags," Fenton explained.
"I can hear your plan Fenton. I can just speed my way to the front and… wait, why do you five have gingerbread heads?" Caleb asked. While the others are not seeing their heads as gingerbread, the handsome genius is. He is hallucinating a bit since he consumed the shroom earlier.
Taking the opportunity from Caleb's hallucination, the five other contestants group up in the front of the vehicle. Fenton, JJ, and Tamera are in the front while Buford and Lilith are behind them.
Still hallucinating, Caleb sees his opponents actually turn into a wall.
"Oh gosh, you're all a wall now," Caleb exclaimed in horror. At that moment, he realizes the mushroom is starting to take effect. He takes out the water gun he used early and sprays his eyes. He blinks a bunch of times so he can see well again.
Fenton, JJ, and Tamera notice ten flags, five on each side of the rail. Tamera grabs the five on the right while JJ takes the ones on the left. Both girls give the flags to Fenton so he can hold them.
After reaching the highest peak they descend to the next route.
LAP 7/9 Caleb – Thirty-Two Flags, Fenton – Ten Flags
"Pfft, who cares how many flags you all get," Caleb said. "I have thirty-two and there are only three laps left. I have won, accept the fact already idiots."
"No, we are not letting a bad guy make it to the final five," Fenton declared, with the other four nodding in agreement.
Caleb cackles. "Bad guy? You think I'm the bad guy here? I'm just playing the game. And don't go all justice on me, especially what you did to Melissa."
Lilith, Buford, and Tamera look at Fenton for a moment.
"Oh, that's right, Shorty McShort Shorts didn't tell you what he did during the team phase. To summarize, Melissa liked him, and Fenton used her feelings to eliminate her so he can become the new leader. Which failed horribly," Caleb explained.
Buford and Lilith's eyes widen. Fenton did that? They thought he was an innocent humble boy.
"Dang dude, that's a mean way to play the game," Bo told Fenton.
"Yeah, using a girl to get what you want? Not cool," Lilith added.
"I wouldn't do that," Tamera said. "At least, not the person I am now."
"Please, you three acting all high and mighty when each of you is also a horrible person," Caleb called out on the trio. "You're a backstabber," He pointed at Lilith. "I wouldn't be surprised if you're the reason the Oddballs disband." He then looks at Tamera. "You're an attention hog that has little respect for anybody. Just because you are nice to one person doesn't make up for all the crap you pull."
Caleb then sneers at Buford. "And here we have Mr. Bo-Peep. You're probably the person I despise the most still in the game. People call me despicable, but your mouth is just as bad as any other politician I see on TV. At least I have the decency to own up to my questionable actions while you're stuck being prideful, making excuses left and right. The only person good here is that dang clown."
Speaking of JJ, with everyone distracted she grabs four flags from the rail's left side and puts it in her wig. Reaching the highest peak then descending, the six contestants are now in the second to last lap.
LAP 8/9 Caleb – Thiry Flags, Fenton – Ten Flags, JJ – Four Flags
After what Caleb said to everyone, they all look guilty. Except for Buford.
"Man, who gives a donkey's butt about you calling us horrible. Out of everyone here you're the most annoying," Bo told Caleb. "You manipulated Lisa into rigging my girlfriend off the show."
Fenton's frown stops. Bo is right, Caleb is more awful. "You messed with Marty's head to get rid of him then messed with me and Kylie's relationship. Yeah, what did I do to Melissa is wrong. But at least I'm trying to make up for my mistakes unlike you," Fenton told Caleb narrowing his eyes.
"You deserve to get backstabbed, you're a jerk," Lilith said.
"Tell me something I don't know," Caleb brushed off what was said to him. "Let me give you all a present before the challenge is over." As he reaches his pocket with his right hand, a hand from the ball touches his. "Ew, what the?"
Tamera notices the hand and arm resembling close to JJ. She turns around and notices the clown scratching her wig with her right hand. The vixen's eyes widen in realization.
"Caleb has a piece of JJ's wig in his pocket," Tamera shouted to get attention.
"Crap," Caleb spoke now that they found out his strategy.
JJ takes her right hand and part of her arm out of her wig.
"No wonder the dude has been pulling so much stuff out of nowhere," Buford said.
"Wait, if he has his stuff in there that means JJ also has it as well," Fenton concluded.
Everyone looks at JJ who begins searching for something inside her wig. The clown takes out Marty's camera. She passes her competitors to get a clear shot at flashing Caleb.
"No!" Caleb shouted and used his speed to push JJ, but the clown can flash him in the face before he can fully act out his attack.
Caleb is now stunned by the flash.
"Take the piece out of his pocket," Fenton instructed.
Buford listens and acts swiftly. He takes the clown ball out of Caleb's right dark green short pocket. Bo holds onto it and retreats.
Tamera decides to slap Caleb on his left cheek. "That's for punching me earlier." She regroups.
Caleb's vision is restored. He sees Lilith push him out of the roller coaster with all her might.
The magnetic shoes stick to a rail that goes under the roller coaster, so Caleb does not fall like last time. The handsome genius watches his enemies begin to rise to the highest peak of the ride.
Desperate to get back what was taken he uses his mushroom speed to try to catch up. Unfortunately, the effects start to wear off as soon as he reaches the peak. He watches his enemies on the rollercoaster cheering in victory as they descend into the final lap. He lost, and he has to accept that. The power of obtaining a small piece of JJ's wig got to his head. He is now realizing everything he did to make it this far was all for nothing. He is not escaping this elimination. He is not winning the five million dollars.
Knowing he cannot do anything to prevent his loss, Caleb clenches his hands into fists and shouts as high as he can into the air.
His scream causes birds from all over the carnival to flee. His scream is so loud, Georgia and Pharaoh can hear it at the new aftermath studio. The two are shown preparing the stage and stopping when they hear the scream.
LAP 9/9
Lilith, Tamera, and Fenton continue to cheer for stopping Caleb. JJ uses her clown horn to express her excitement and does a little dance. Buford still has the ball he took from Caleb. A smirk forms on Bo's face.
No one gets any more flags on any side of the rail since everyone knows who is being sent home. Upon reaching the highest peak again, Caleb gets back on the ride. His angry face of defeat is enough to intimidate Fenton and Lilith.
"I want those flags back, now!" Caleb declared.
The second mushroom he ate begins to activate the side effect of hallucinations again. Caleb slowly closes his eyes and falls into one of the seats. He is already messed up right now, seeing hallucinations will worsen his mentality.
Chef pulls up the lever to stop the attraction as the ride comes to the entrance of where one gets on it. Buford, Lilith, and Tamera immediately step out. Fenton and JJ grab Caleb's arms to pull him off the ride.
"Congrats on completing the challenge folks," Chris told the six players. "Now who has the most flags?"
Fenton puts the flags he had on the ground.
"Alright, Fenton scored ten," Chris announced. "Who's next?"
Buford sues the clown ball and smacks it with his left hand. The thirty-two flags Caleb caught falls to the ground.
"Whoa, Buford gets a whopping thirty-two. Don't think we need to ask the rest of you," Chris said. "Buford wins today's challenge!"
Bo notices the blank looks from his competition. "Sorry, but I like winning." He gives the ball to JJ. "Here, make sure to burn it before it goes into the wrong hands."
JJ takes the ball and stuffs it in her wig.
Confessional – Buford
"Could have I kept the ball for myself? Yeah, absolutely. But honestly, having that much power will go through my head. I know myself enough to know I will turn into what Caleb went through. Rather not risk the game as much as I want JJ out. Speaking of JJ, nice girl. She could do so much with that wig and chooses to entertain people. Girl deserves respect."
End Confessional
"Alright, Buford is time to decide. Who will you eliminate from Total Drama Carnival Calamity?" Chris asked Mr. Keep It Real.
Caleb stands up after the hallucination side effect wears off. He turns around to not look at anyone. He crosses his arms.
Buford looks specifically at Caleb and JJ. He can get rid of the silent clown. He has been wanting to for a while.
"Chris, the person I'm eliminating is…"

"Caleb," Buford finished.
"Figures," Caleb muttered then turns around to face Chris and Chef. "Just take me to the lame-o-sine. I don't want to stay anymore with these people."
"Very well, I'll give Rosalina a call," Chris said. "Buford, you have the gold tent all to yourself for the next days. The rest of you will be using the brown tent."
Confessional – Buford
"Yeah, I'm letting JJ stay. Having Caleb stay will cause more problems for me. Imagine if I didn't send him home now and he makes it to the finale and beats me." He chuckles at his imagination.
"Besides, Lilith is on my side. Fenton has JJ. If it comes down to voting next challenge, I'll convince Tamera to stick with me."
Confessional – Lilith
"Final five, this is so exciting." She squeals happily.
Confessional – Tamera
"Feel like I can win this. Right now, I'm the deciding vote, so my chances for making the final four is high." She puts her hands on her hip. "Also, I'm having a lot more fun playing the game since I stopped trying to be in the spotlight. Whenever I get time, I'll get it."
Confessional – Fenton
He is content with his victory today. "Did you see how I handled the challenge today? That was awesome. Okay, I had to break Chris's initial rules, but it paid off in the end. Maybe I'm finally getting the hang of taking charge by myself. Now I have to make sure JJ and I make it to the finale together."
Confessional – JJ
She is shown burning the wig piece Caleb took from her with a lighter.
End Confessionals
Caleb, Chef, and Chris are shown outside the entrance to the carnival. Rosalina arrives driving the lame-o-sine. After parking, Rosalina gets out of the limo.
"Pharoah will be taking Caleb to the studio," Rosalina stated to Chris and Chef. Pharaoh is shown waving inside the vehicle as he takes the driver's seat. "I have been informed that Chaos X is on the move around town. Is most likely they are coming back here."
Chris and Chef look at each other than at Rosalina.
"Very well, be my bodyguard," Chris told the driver.
Rosalina looks perplexed. "That's not what I…"
"Any last words before leaving Caleb?" Chris asked the defeated antagonist.
Caleb gives the middle finger to the host before heading inside the lame-o-sine.
"Rude," Chris said.
Once Pharaoh drives Caleb away Chris decides to end the episode.
"Caleb is finally out of the game! Which side will Tamera pick? Buford and Lilith, or Fenton and JJ? Find out next time on Total… Drama…. Carnival Calamity!"
The episode fades into black.
Inside the lame-o-scene, Caleb is still upset at his loss.
"I had all the power and I still lost," Caleb spoke.
"Honestly, the fact you made it this far surprises me with how many enemies you made. I'm sure they will be happy to see you in the aftermath," Pharoah told as he drives the limo.
"Aftermath?" Caleb said surprised. He puts his right hand on his forehead. "Great, just when I thought things couldn't get any worse."

Author's Note: Surprise to see the main antagonist of the competition go home? Maybe, but that was the idea from the beginning. Caleb is the main antagonist in the competition aspect, but there is still the main antagonist outside the competition. The Ringleader and Chaos X returning to the carnival is coming soon.
I hope you all enjoyed Caleb's downfall. I think is poetic to have Marty's camera play a role in him losing since the camera is the reason why Caleb wanted the photographer gone.
