Flashbacks begin to occur. Chris narrates events from the previous episode. "Last time on Total Drama Carnival Calamity. The final six showed their strength in the high striker. Some did great, others performed terribly, and the rest used tricks to get an advantage for the second challenge. However, Tamera and Fenton convinced me to change the rules. Which was having everyone competing on the rollercoaster ride, using magnetic shoes, and grabbing as many flags as possible."
"Everyone decided to team up against Caleb to end his run in the competition once and for all. Which actually worked after how good Caleb was doing during the second challenge. However, he got too cocky. The other players found out he was using a piece of JJ's wig to stuff all his flags in there. Once discovered, like they have been doing, the other five contestants worked to together put a stop to the handsome genius."
"In the end, after Buford took the clown ball from Caleb, he used it to obtain victory. Since the prize for getting first on the second challenge was to vote out the player of their choosing, Buford eliminated Caleb."
Flashbacks end. Chris is shown with Rosalina and Chef at the empty carnival booths.
"Is the final five! Who will be the next…"

A plasma laser hits the host's back before he can finish talking. Chris falls to the ground. Rosalina and Chef see Iris, Chaos X, and the Ringleader arriving from the entrance of the carnival. Looks like Iris used her pink plasma laser eye to create a hole in the solid doors.
"Find the contestants, now!" Chris exclaimed with fear, still paralyzed due to the plasma blast. "Tell them today's challenge is to stop Chaos X and the Ringleader! Leave me here."
"No way! I ain't leaving you in their hands," Chef sternly spoke before getting blasted by the improved laser Lily took when she competed.
Rosalina dodges the beams at her and runs away to seek help from the final five.
The intro begins, with a camera popping out from a large pot containing Chef's revolting gruel, then from a bird's nest on a roller coaster sign entrance, and then from a carnival booth with pink stuff animals next to it. A smooth transition from a roller coaster descending to the three tents in the carnival is shown. A clapper pops up to commence the action.
Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine
A camera drone enters the blue tent showing Chris McLean taking a shower, his upper body exposed while the rest of him is covered with a towel. He notices the camera drone and hits it with a bar of soap.
You guys are on my mind
The camera drone gets out of the tent and shows Tamera and Caleb driving bumper cars in the bumper car attraction. They collide with each other. The impact causes an explosion.
You asked me what I wanted to be,
The camera drone shows Sua and Lily walking on the Penguin Emporium ice to catch some penguins.
and I think the answer is plain to see
Sua accidentally trips on the ice, slides into the cold pool, and gets frozen.
I wanna be famous!
Marty is swimming up from a different pool in his swimsuit, but the editing makes it look like it was in the cold one. Upon catching some air, he winks at Kylie and Meredith who are near the exit of the tall slide. Both are also wearing swimsuits.

JJ is putting her clown makeup on in the confessional photo booth.

Maverick and Fenton are inside a haunted house looking at a coffin. Maverick opens the coffin and Lilith pops out to reveal herself. This causes Fenton to scream and run away.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
Boris and Elsa are shown competing in an arcade fighting game machine in the arcade center. Both are smirking at each other. Garry waits patiently in a chair for his turn.
I'll get there one day
The lights suddenly turn off and a laser tag fight is shown between Melissa, Buford, and Edgar using laser guns. Melissa gets competitive and shoots at the two boys, causing them to get electrocuted. She looks at them with concern.
Cuz' I wanna be famous
Gabriel is near the carousal explaining politics on a chalkboard to Axel and Hilda who are interested in his talk.

Lucy, Duncan, Noah, Scarlett, and Chef are shown drinking Crowstillo wine and connecting their glass cups to celebrate their break. Lucy however maintains a sturdy look at Scarlett.

Blue smoke appears engulfing the sight of the camera drone. The Ringleader shows himself with a rascally smirk before dropping a grenade that explodes green grass.

At the aftermath studio, Lisa and Jett are sitting on the center couch. Lisa goes for a kiss to her crush, but Jett is conflicted on whether to kiss her back or not. Before he can decide Georgia pushes the two off the couch so she can sit there. Christopher sits next to her co-host. The two of them whistle as the camera drone zooms out to show the Calamity Cast, the aftermath hosts, Chris, and Chef whistling as well. Above them is a sign that lights up with the words Total Drama Carnival Calamity.
The episode starts with Rosalina running towards the gold tent. She goes inside the tent where Buford is shown on a table getting a massage from an intern. He has a towel around his lower body while not having a shirt on.
"Come with me if you want to live," Rosalina exclaimed.
"Excuse me," Buford told the limo driver. "Who are you and why are you interrupting my quiet time?"
"The Ringleader is back," Rosalina told him.
This makes Buford immediately get up from the table. Unfortunately, he forgot he is wearing a towel and the towel falls from his lower half. The editing has censored his private parts.
Rosalina and Buford look at each other awkwardly.
"Put on your clothes and meet me at the brown tent," Rosalina stated, looking at Buford's face.
After that obstinate encounter, Rosalina enters the brown tent. There, the other four contestants are sitting at a table waiting for breakfast. JJ, Fenton, Tamera, and Lilith look curiously at Rosalina.
"Are you a new intern?" Lilith asked Rosalina.
"No, the Ringleader is back in the carnival. Don't ask questions," Rosalina firmly answered, not in the mood to hear doubts.
The sound of a laser is heard off-screen from the right. Buford enters the brown tent running. He stops to catch his breath.
"There's this hot cop chick with some weird eye shooting pink plasma lasers all over the place," Buford said.
Rosalina's eyes widen. "Crap, they found us already."
"Us!? Don't you mean Ringleader?" Fenton wondered, starting to panic.
"Where's the safest place we can hide?" Rosalina asked the final five. "It has to be far away from the pumpkin patch?"
"Why the pumpkin patch?" Tamera asked.
"Stop asking questions I need answers," Rosalina exclaimed. Her loud voice is heard by Iris who enters the tent.
The contestants and Rosalina look at the mutated cop. Lilith whistles.
"Wow Bo, you weren't kidding when you said she is hot," Lilith spoke.
Iris uses her left eye to shoot a plasma beam at her enemies. Everyone ducks in time before one of them can get hit. The plasma beam creates a hole on the other side of the tent.
"What is it with this show and always having some attack on it since season four?" Buford wondered as everyone stands up scared.
"My reality show will not have these problems," Tamera added unnecessary talking.
"If you live to see it that is," Lilith unintentionally retorted out of fear. She does not know if she can endure a plasma blast.
Before Iris can shoot her plasma laser from her left eye again, JJ takes a strawberry pie out of her wig and throws it at the cop. Iris groans in pain from the pie on her face. The pie must have been hot.
Fenton looks behind him to see the hole Iris made. Looks like this is the moment for him to take charge. "Everyone, this way," The short kid exclaimed.
Everyone heads out the way Fenton exits the tent. They all run away. Iris takes the pie off and chases the contestants and Rosalina.
"Where are we headed?" Buford asked the group of six.
Fenton quickly thinks of the best location for the time being. "The haunted house. If there's more of her, they will not expect us to be there."
"Yeah, my favorite place here," Lilith exclaimed excitedly.
"Now is no time to celebrate," Tamera told the goth.
JJ takes out a mirror from her wig and looks at it. She notices Iris chasing after them.
Iris is trying to target lock her prey, but the constant running is not helping. JJ pokes on Fenton's shoulder then points behind to let him know that Iris is on their tail.
"The cop lady is not giving up," Fenton shouted scared.
"I'll take care of her," Rosalina firmly stated. She takes a gun out of her business suit's right pocket and aims the weapon at Iris.
Iris quickly fires a plasma laser from her left eye at Rosalina's hand.
Rosalina grunts in pain and drops her gun. Sadly, the gun is destroyed thanks to the laser blast. Plus, the limo driver's right hand is burned badly.
JJ sees the horror that just happened and narrows her eyes. She stops running and turns around to face Iris. The cop stops as well to activate her laser. JJ takes out a Scutum from her wig to block the laser. Then she throws the shield like a boomerang at the mutant's forehead to knock her out. It is successful.
Fenton rushes back to her friend. "Good job JJ now let's hurry before she gets back up," The competent boy told.
Inside the underground lab of the carnival lies Lucy, Saraphina, and Christopher waiting for the Ringleader and Chaos X to arrive any day now. Each of them has a laser pistol in their right hand. Murky semi-darkness makes the atmosphere fear dreadful. The blue and green lights around the lab flicker on and off. The tables are full of notes, receipts, drawings, and some written articles made from the trio. They have to entertain themselves down here somehow.
Christopher inspects the human size tubes full of toxic waste while Saraphina checks out the several animals inside cages. The same ones Scarlett was going to use are an eagle, a frog, two squirrels, a duck, and a rabbit.
"Why haven't we released these animals yet?" Saraphina asked her boyfriend and co-worker.
"Honestly, don't know. Thought you or Christopher would do the honors," Lucy admitted, looking at the entrance to the lab.
"So, we all assumed one of us would release the animals," Christopher observed.
"Yep," Lucy and Saraphina said in unison.
Suddenly, the hatch over the ladder opens up. Lucy raises her laser pistol at who potentially will be arriving. What comes out of the door and is dropping to the ground is a grenade.
Lucy's eyes widen in fear. How did the Ringleader know she and her allies are down here? Did Scarlett tell him and Chaos X after she escaped?
The grenade bursts and coming out of it is a green smoke cloud. Lucy has a gut feeling of what the cloud does and she quickly runs away to the end of the hallway.
"Follow me!" Lucy ordered her allies.
Saraphina and Christopher take a quick pick to see the green cloud approaching them.
"Don't have to tell me twice," Saraphina said then follows Lucy. Christopher follows her girlfriend.
The green cloud continues to expand and expand throughout the lab.
"We cannot inhale that," Saraphina told her boyfriend and ally as the three take a breather. The laboratory may be small in size, but the hallways are long. Almost like a maze.
"Or let it touch us," Lucy added while agreeing.
"Girls, look at this," Christopher pointed at a hole on the ceiling nearby covered by a bed. "That's a way out."
"How do we get up there?" Saraphina wondered.
Lucy notices a silver coffin on the ground and gets an idea. "Christopher, Sara, and I will have the coffin stand up. You jump on it then push the bed out of the way."
"Got it," Christopher understood. "Make it quick though, I need to gain speed for this to work and the smoke is getting closer by the second." The kung fu warrior told and puts himself some distance away from the two.
Saraphina and Lucy lift the coffin as fast they can since it is heavy. The green smoke is getting close. Christopher notices this by turning around and starts running towards the coffin.
"Babe we're not ready," Saraphina exclaimed to her boyfriend.
"No time," Christopher responded. He balances himself on the moving coffin being lifted and leaps again while extending his hands in the air. Thanks to his strength and jump the warrior pushes the bed out of the way. Lucky for the three the bed does not create another hole once it hits the floor of the haunted house room.
Christopher extends his left arm towards Saraphina and Lucy. "Grab onto my hand, hurry!"
After having the coffin vertically, Saraphina gets on it and grabs Christopher's left hand. Her boyfriend pulls her out of the lab and into the haunted house floor.
Lucy notices the fog getting closer and quickly gets on top of the coffin. Instead of waiting for her allies to assist her, she jumps onto the haunted house floor.
"Get the bed to cover up the hole again. We don't want that green fog getting here," The DIT commanded.
The trio rapidly covers the hole with the master bedroom.
"So, I'm guessing Scarlett was the rat that told them?" Saraphina asked Lucy.
"I have no evidence to that, but I am one hundred percent confident that yes," Lucy guaranteed.
"What do we do now?" Christopher wondered. "After the smoke clears Chaos X and the Ringleader will most likely go down there."
All of a sudden, Lucy's phone in her left pocket jeans rings. She picks it up and answers the call.
"Info Rosalina," Lucy said, getting straight to the point. "Haunted House? That's where I and my partners are at. Bottom floor? We will be right there." The blonde hangs up the phone. Time to plan for the worst outcome.
A new scene emerges with Lucy, Saraphina, Christopher, Rosalina who now has her right hand covered in bandages, and the five contestants at the living room of the haunted house. The five competitors are sitting on a couch on the right while the couple and limo driver are sitting on the left couch. Lucy is standing as she looks at the team she has at the moment.
"Shouldn't you escort us out of the carnival so then you guys can get take down the Ringleader and Chaos X?" Fenton asked.
"We need all the help we can get," Lucy answered.
"Besides, Chris gave you five a challenge," Rosalina added. "Take down the Ringleader and Chaos X."
"Seriously?" Buford questioned, dumbfounded by the decision. "He wants us to stop those lunatics? The Ringleader was barely defeated the last time."
"Yeah, where's Chris?" Lilith wondered.
"Ringleader captured him and Chef," Rosalina plainly answered.
"Why don't we take the five million dollars for ourselves?" Tamera suggested. "We can divide it into a million each."
"I don't like stealing, but there are two flaws with that," Fenton decided to point out. "We don't know where Chris is hiding the money. Second, we have no idea how many people working for Chaos X are out there."
"What's the benefit of stopping Chaos X and Ringleader?" Buford asked Rosalina.
"Chris didn't say but considering how high the stakes are the reward has to be good," Rosalina replied.
"What do we know about Chaos X and the Ringleader's plans?" Lilith inquired.
"Chaos X wants to take over the world, that's pretty much it," Buford answered. "That's what Lily told me."
"From the files I gathered, the Ringleader has two goals," Lucy told, about to explain. "Put on a show and experiment on life."
"If he's going to do a show, then he will be activating his plan when night comes," Tamera theorized. "That's what I'll do."
"Makes sense, but what about the rest of Chaos X?" Saraphina wondered. "Did Pandora gather any intel if they are going with the Ringleader's plan or their own agenda?"
"The recording device had no sound in it," Christopher reminded.
"Why can't the cops come to assist us?" Fenton asked.
"They won't believe a word we'll say," Rosalina answered with a frown.
"The Ringleader got out of jail due to rehab. The people think he's a normal citizen now. The reason why Rosie and I got this case is that it was considered not important," Lucy explained. She sighs. "I've already solved a lot of cases, why can't I finally become an actual detective."
"Less about you and more about this situation we are in," Tamera prompted.
"We need to think on what tactics Ringleader and Chaos X will do," Saraphina stated. "Both have to realize they cannot stay down in the lab forever."
"They will need to make a distraction for us to escape," Lucy deducted.
"Escape with all that toxic waste and notes we found down there," Christopher added.
"I got it," Lucy exclaimed, putting her left fist on top of her right palm. "They will mutate the animals back in the lab and unleash them around the carnival. That way they can escape with what they need."
"Sounds like a diabolical plan," Fenton admitted. "How do we handle this?"
"You have your gun with you?" Lucy asked Rosalina.
"Got blasted," Rosalina stated and shows her bandaged hand to emphasize her point.
"Take mine," Lucy said then gives her laser pistol to her partner. "I'll find some kind of weaponry in the hut or storage place. Alright, everyone, stand up. Is time to enact our plan."
As Lucy tells the plan, the scene changes back to the lab. The green smoke has cleared. The hatch to the lab opens up. The Ringleader, Nathan, and Lily climb down the ladder.
"Is good to be home," Ringleader said. He takes off his mask to reveal his face. His green eyes are pure craziness complimented from his messy orange hair. As he walks to the toxic waste tank tubes, he puts his mask on a table.
While the Ringleader admires the view, Chaos X is shown putting Chef, Chris, Noah, and Duncan in the cage that Scarlett put Lucy in before. All four of them have been tied up in rope and chains to prevent escape. Knives lock the cage inside.
"I regret being an intern," Noah stated emotionless.
"Once I break from this rope and chains you all are dead," Duncan threatened.
Chef remains silent.
"Niu is so going to sue the show now," Chris whined. He does not even care he has been captured.
"I must admit Nathan, is impressive you brought me here," Ringleader said as he looks at the caged animals.
Nathan silently signals Lily for her to pass him the laser gun she has. Lily gladly gives the laser gun to her boyfriend.
"I wonder when you are going to betray me," Ringleader said ominously.
As Ringleader turns around Nathan readies his laser gun at the maniac.
"Right on the dotted line," Ringleader smirked.
"Stand down, now," Nathan firmly told. "Once you're out of the picture my plans on world domination can finally be fulfilled."
Ringleader slowly raises his hands. "What are you going to do, kill me? Knocking me out will do you no good. Go ahead, pull the trigger in front of your friends."
Nathan looks at his team of Chaos X. Even with their masks on Nathan can tell they don't want to end a life. But he has no choice.
"Ah!" Ringleader screams as he uses his left hand to cover his chest. He begins to breathe heavily as he falls to the floor.
"Did you shoot him?" Bandages exclaimed at Nathan worryingly.
"What? No, he's probably having a heart attack," Nathan turned around to answer.
On the ground, Ringleader smirks. "You were never cut out to be in my world." Pressing a button on his velvet bowtie, everyone starts to hear beeping.
The beeping is coming from every Chaos X member. This confuses all of them.
"What's going on?" Masky said scared.

Masky screams as toxic waste suddenly appear on her body. Everyone is horrified except for the Ringleader who gets up smiling.
"Masky?" Nathan wondered what is happening to her member.
"Oh, come on now Nathan ol boy, did you really think I wouldn't prepare myself for this outcome?" Ringleader rhetorically asked. "I've taken out close allies of mine before I got this gig."
Masky's left arm horrifically turns into the flipper of a walrus. Big tusks come out of her mouth as her regular teeth fall to the ground. Her feet turn into that of a rhino as well as her legs.
The rest of Chaos X gasps as Masky's mutation has been complete. So do Chris, Duncan, Chef, and Noah.
Ringleader chuckles darkly as he turns around. He walks near a table. He grabs a metal safe under it and puts it on the table.
"I used what little source of toxic waste I had in my test tube to create small attaching detonating bombs on all of you while sleeping," Ringleader said as he opens the safe. "Don't ask for the details."
"You monster!" Nathan exclaimed in fury. He readies his laser gun at the maniac, but the bomb implanted in him explodes from his mouth.
"Nathan!" Lily cried.
Ringleader laughs as Nathan; leader of Chaos X starts turning into a mutant. Nathan grunts then scream in pain. His mouth becomes squid-like with tentacles forming. His head turns into that of a squid as well. His arms and hands turn into eagle wings. Lastly, his feet and legs turn into cacti.
"I was hoping your head will turn into a fish, but this will still do," Ringleader admitted as he takes out a device from the safe.
The device is a murky brown helmet with two antennas sticking out of it. There are also various buttons on the helmet.
"I created this helmet to have any mutant in a ten-mile radius bend to my will, whether human or animal," Ringleader explained how the device works. "I would have been magnificent back then if it wasn't for that clown ratting me out."
Gazzer goes to grab the laser gun to fire at the Ringleader but the toxic bomb on him detonates. "No, I didn't want it to end like this!" Gazzer screamed as he feels the effects of the waste coursing all over his body.
His head sprouts two bull horns on each side. His face turns into a moose head. He screams in agony as his skin turns into that of a crocodile. He also grows a crocodile tail and feet.
"Oh, I forgot to mention that the toxic waste I perfected does create side effects to be unleashed if one is stressed out," Ringleader stated as he puts his helmet on his head then turns it on.
Lily, Duncan, Chris, Chef, and Noah watch as Knives and Bandages get completely covered in toxic waste. They do not scream or stress out since there is no point. They were not going to be saved.
Lily watches with guilt at her friends becoming monsters. Bandages' skin turns purple and looks like a mummy while Knives is now made out of rusted metal all over his body.
Lily gets on her knees and cries realizing she will become a mutant too. The four prisoners anticipate in horror.
"I'm not sleeping for the next three days," Noah commented.
"Dude, I don't think I can sleep after witnessing this," Duncan told the bookworm.
"You all be careful not to get into the splash zone," Chef warned, him being next to the left part of the cage.
"I'm so ******," Chris cursed.
SPLASH!
The bomb Lily had has gone off on her. The secretary waits for her mutation to stop.
"Looks like fate is on your side today kid. You practically look the same," Ringleader commented.
The maniac is right. Lily's new notable appearance is that she has pink skin and yellow eyes now.
"Just, do it already," Lily said sounding defeated.
"Ah, now that's an obedient child," Ringleader said. After pressing a button on his helmet, he mind controls Chaos X completely. "Now…"
Ringleader walks to the cages that have animals on them. "Free children right for the picking, though I mostly prefer humans nowadays."
"Maybe if we do nothing, he might forget about us," Chris whispered to Chef, Noah, and Duncan.
"Sorry, can you repeat that louder I wasn't listening," Ringleader told the host smiling as he approached the prisoners.
Chris remains silent. Ringleader looks at the six animals that are each trapped in a cage on the neatest table. Then the maniac gazes at his prisoners again.
"Once I'm done with these creatures, you four are next," Ringleader spoke with a grin.
Back at the haunted house the investigators are loading their laser pistols and stand up from the couch they sat on. Except for Lucy who is walking towards them with a bow and a bag of arrows.
"Where did you get those?" Rosalina asked.
"Found them in the place where Chef keeps his stuff," The DIT answered. She glances at the heart shape arrows in the bag. "Hopefully these arrows can pierce well."
"We're not going to kill Chaos X, are we?" Fenton worryingly asked Lucy.
"No, Chaos X is a group of teenagers so my partners and I will do our best to only cause injuries that are necessary," Lucy assured. "However, Ringleader is worth dead or alive."
The contestants, Saraphina, and Christopher are concerned about having to end someone's life. Yes, the Ringleader is an unstable mad murderer, but the thought of having to end someone's life is still daunting for these teenagers.
"Just try not to die or get hurt," Rosalina advised.
"Are we going to wait for night to arrive?" Tamera asked Lucy.
"That was the initial idea," Lucy replied as she puts down her bow and arrow hearts on the floor. "But since Chris and Chef are being held hostage, we are on a timer to save them."
"Still can't believe you are sending us down there," Lilith skeptically said.
"We already discuss this," Saraphina told the goth. "Us four," She referred to herself, Lucy, Christopher, and Rosalina. "Will drag Chaos X and the Ringleader out of the lab while you five go through the hole from the haunted house to rescue Chris and Chef. Then help us with a surprise attack. We'll be attacking from both sides."
"Okay, but I doubt the Ringleader will go after you four like Chaos X possibly would," Buford stated. "Dude undoubtedly knows this type of tactic."
"That's why we need bait," Lucy said then sighs as she looks at JJ. "I checked footage before entering the lab. You were one of the few people that could land a hit on the Ringleader."
FLASHBACK
Fenton, JJ, and Melissa are shown at the carnival's pumpkin patch at night. JJ has a jack in the box in her hands and slowly begins winding it while Melissa bashes the heads of mutated pumpkins with a wooden stick.
Fenton and JJ can hear footsteps closing in and decide to look behind them. It is the Ringleader, holding a blue egg in his right hand. He continues to approach the two.
"As much as I would love to continue the show, it's time for the climax," Ringleader spoke to himself with a disturbing grin.
JJ does not waste any time. She aims the jack in the box at Ringleader, winding faster and faster.
BLAM!
A boxing glove attached to a spring reveals itself from inside the jack in the box, hitting Ringleader right in his left cheek. Surprised by the sudden attack, Ringleader falls to the ground and lays there.
END FLASHBACK
"JJ," Lucy continues to look seriously at the clown with a calm tone. "This is going to be hard to understand, but I need you in this mission to lure the Ringleader. If you don't, the life of Chris, Chef, and potentially others around the city can be put in danger if the maniac's plan is successful. Will you assist?"
JJ looks at her friend and the other contestants. Then she looks back at Lucy. She gives a thumb up, willing to help.
"I'm going with her," Fenton said as he got out of the couch he was sitting on. "I'm not leaving my friend alone in the danger she is putting herself in."
JJ stands up and puts her hands on Fenton's shoulders. She moves her head side to side, indicating that her friend should not join and do the sneak attack without her.
"You're the only friend I have left here," Fenton pleaded. "If something happens to you and I'm not there to help…"
JJ hugs Fenton. After a few seconds, the clown stops hugging him. The competent sidekick holds back tears. He has already lost Melissa as a friend thanks to what he did to her, and Kylie is out of the game as well. Nevertheless, he has to respect his friend's decision.
"Touchy feeling aside, none of us have weapons," Tamera pointed out.
"Yeah, I ain't going in no mad scientist lab without something to defend myself," Buford agreed with the vixen.
JJ puts her hands in her wig to find weapons that can help out.
"I think there are still two more issues before we head out," Lilith admitted.
"And those are?" Saraphina wondered.
"Iris is still on the loose," Rosalina muttered with distaste as she eyes her injured hand. "Though, JJ did knock her out really good."
"Plus, the Ringleader might have some mutants already on high alert," Christopher warned.
"Don't worry, I already called our secret weapon," Lucy stated proudly with a smirk. Who could be this secret weapon?
In the lab, the animals locked in the cages were mutated by the Ringleader. The two squirrels turned into one giant one, twice the size of the average height of a human. Both squirrels still have their head. Two heads in one body. The eagle has a humanoid body, complemented with arms and hands. It also has eyes all over its body.
The frog has become big as well with a small volcano sticking out of its back. The volcano is leaking toxic waste out of it. The duck has grown up to the Ringleader's legs. The duck's wings are now airplane wings, and its beak is a spinner. The rabbit looks like a knock-off looney cartoon.
Thanks to his helmet, Ringleader can control the beasts just like he did with the mutated Chaos X.
"Now that you babies are done," Ringleader spoke then looks at the prisoners. "You four are next."
HONK HONK!
Ringleader turns around and notices JJ at the hatch. The clown makes funny faces to mock the maniac. JJ then leaves. Ringleader recognizes her from the time she used a jack in the box to sucker punch him. With an unsettling stare, the Ringleader says, "After her'' to the mutants. Since some of the mutants are bigger than the hatch, they cannot exit.
"Break it," Ringleader commanded.
The mutant animals and Chaos X let the frog leap and burst a hole, destroying the hatch in the process. The rest of the Ringleader's army climb up the ladder, leap or fly out of the lab. Ringleader follows suit, wanting to get payback for what JJ did to him in episode six.
On the pumpkin patch ground, JJ and the investigating group are preparing to attack. However, their eyes widen in surprise as they witness the members of Chaos X as mutants.
"I don't think laser pistols are going to knock them out," Christopher told Lucy as he aims at Gazzer.
"Just shoot them in the eyes," Saraphina responded coldly. "Not our fault if they become blind."
"Yeah, what she said," Rosalina agreed with the sweet bad girl.
Ringleader notices JJ, Lucy, and their gang. His mutants stand behind him.
"Ah, you again," Ringleader told Lucy. "I thought our last encounter would have you stop trying to get rid of me."
"As my ex told me, I can be stubborn in my investigations," Lucy said as she raises her bow and arrow at the Ringleader's head.
"Well, that's going to cost you greatly," Ringleader told the DIT. He takes out a green grenade.
Lucy does not shoot her arrow and her partners do not use their pistols either. If that grenade explodes the Ringleader can become a mutant. Do not want to make him more powerful.
JJ, somehow using super speed grabs the Ringleader's left arm and takes him away somewhere. Lucy, Saraphina, Christopher, and Rosalina have to take care of the mutants themselves.
Confessional – JJ
She takes a purple mushroom out of her wig and puts the mushroom in her mouth. Then she chews on the mushroom.
End Confessional
"Alright Lucy, any ideas for us not to die?" Rosalina asked the DIT.
"She should be arriving at any moment," Lucy spoke.
"Who?" Saraphina and Christopher in unison.
The eagle mutant flies towards Rosalina to attack. Before the limo driver can shoot at the mutant, a giant dark green foot stomps on the eagle, making it useless.
Everyone around the pumpkin patch looks up to see the mechanical dragon has made its return. Who is piloting the dragon? That is right, none other than Casey herself. The one who stole the dragon during the thirteenth episode.
"Agent Keenan reporting for duty," Casey exclaimed from inside the stomach control room of the dragon. She makes a stupid face then uses her head to press a button.
The dragon breathes fire at the mutant frog, two-headed squirrel, duck, and rabbit. Those mutants are burned alive.
Gazzar uses its bull horns to charge at the mechanical dragon's right leg, but the dragon simply grabs Gazzar with its right hand. The dragon then rips Gazzer's horns out of his head. Gazzar screams in pain. The dragon then throws Gazzer to the ground. The sound of the impact is grand.
"Well, this fight just got a lot easier," Rosalina pointed out.
"Watch out!" Christopher warned.
Rosalina notices Masky getting in front of her. Masky wants to pierce Rosalina with her big tusks. The limo driver leaps to her left to avoid the attack. Rosalina then uses her laser pistol to destroy the tusks.
Casey in the mechanical dragon steps on Masky for the mutated girl to pass out.
"Oops, I stepped on loser," Casey taunted from inside the dragon.
Since Bandages basically turned into a mummy Saraphina and Christopher take her down by shooting the mutant's legs with their laser pistols.
Knives charges at Lucy. Since the dude is basically a walking tree with blades the heart arrows will do nothing. Lucy decides to take out a taser from her jeans pocket. After dodging the charge, the DIT lets the taser stay on stun mode and throws it at the Chaos X member.
Since he is practically made of metal now the electricity flows over Knives' body but creates an even greater surge. Knives passes out from the voltage and falls to the ground.
"Like I said, easy," Rosalina stated.
"It helps that they are attacking one by one," Christopher pointed out.
Nathan uses his squid face tentacles to try and grab each crime solver. Lucy grabs her bow and a heart arrow to cut out the tentacle going at her. Her partners use their laser pistols to damage the tentacles coming at them.
The dragon uses its tail to pin Nathan into the pumpkin patch dirt. Next, the dragon keeps whacking Nathan with its tail several times.
This makes Lily angry. She turns into a tall giant, being almost the same size as the mechanical dragon. Which is thirty feet. After letting out a roar Casey stops using the dragon's tail to keep hitting Nathan. Afterward, she does it one more time for good measure.
Lily breathes out toxic waste from her mouth at the dragon. Casey intercepts this by banging on the fire breathing button again with her head so the dragon can breathe fire at the toxic waste.
As the giant battle continues, the contestants minus JJ are inside the lab and find the prisoners. Each player has a laser pistol on them.
"Yes, so glad you five didn't abandon me," Chris express gratitude.
"Us," Chef added.
"Who?" Chris asked.
"Where's JJ?" Duncan wondered.
"She's helping defeat the Ringleader," Fenton answered.
Buford finds the keys to open the lock of the cage. Chris, Duncan, Noah, and Chef get out. The contestants help untie the four from the rope and chains on them.
"What's next in the plan?" Chef asked the four competitors.
"Help Lucy and the others defeat Chaos X and the Ringleader," Lilith replied to the cook.
"Ok, but then we have to tell them about those tanks," Tamera pointed at the tanks full of toxic waste.
Chris looks at the toxic waste and smiles. "Cool, didn't expect this place to have TW Company's toxic waste here. I remember letting a few friends of mine from that company use Wawanakwa as a dump during World Tour."
"That company doesn't exist anymore, right?" Fenton asked the host.
"Thanks to a certain goal digger," Chris mumbled.
"Alright, so we get out to kick some butt then deal with these tanks," Noah summarized the plan, although he did not sound thrilled when speaking.
"Stay behind us since none of you are armed," Buford told the interns and hosts.
As the eight people climb up the ladder from the lab, JJ brings Ringleader to the empty booths section of the carnival with her mushroom speed. She lets go of the maniac's left arm and does backflips to distance herself.
"Ah, you used a mushroom to gain an extra boost in speed," Ringleader figured. He smirks at the clown. "Impressive, I knew there were still mushrooms in the carnival. Here's a fun fact before you die. I used those mushrooms to perfect my hallu…"
JJ cuts him off by using her speed to gut punch him. Caught off guard, the Ringleader groans then scowls. He grabs JJ's wig to pull it out of her head, but the clown speed blitzes out.
JJ takes out a rope from her wig and ties up the Ringleader rapidly. She smirks while putting her hands on her hips with satisfaction. The clown notices Ringleader eating a green mushroom.
After finishing the mushroom, Ringleader grins. "Careful of who touches your wig." He breaks the rope with his new strength from consuming the mushroom. "Now, let's see how much makeup I can wipe off your face."
JJ throws pies out of her wig in rapid secession. Ringleader dodges the pies with his new speed and gets close to the clown. Ringleader delivers a nasty uppercut.
JJ's red clown nose gets out of her nose. She wipes the blood off coming out of her right nostril with her right arm. Then she takes out a mallet similar to the one Chef had during the high strike challenge. She tries to smack Ringleader with the mallet, but the maniac easily catches it with his right hand.
"Is useless to stop me," Ringleader exclaimed and crushes the mallet. He whacks the weapon away with his left hand. Next, he grabs JJ and throws her into an empty carnival booth, destroying the booth in the process. "I should be with my children right now but considering they are only facing a couple of wannabe cops I'll make sure to break every body part of yours before heading off."
As the Ringleader gets closer to JJ, the silent clown takes a super-soaker water blaster out of her wig. She aims it at Ringleader and fires, but the maniac dodges it with his speed.
Ringleader kicks the water soaker out of JJ's hands and throws the clown again to another empty booth. This gets destroyed as well.
JJ gets up with bruises on her body. Some parts of her clothing are ripped a bit.
"Come on, keep smiling. Clowns always like to creep others out," Ringleader exclaimed with a sinister grin. He takes out two green grenades from his suit and throws them at JJ.
JJ takes out another Scutum to block the grenades from blasting into her face. With the green cloud moving slowly and blocking the Ringleader's sight, JJ takes the opportunity to hide.
"Come on clown, give me the entertainment your kind gives," Ringleader mocked as he walks around the carnival booth.
Ringleader feels a water balloon pop on his helmet. The water starts short-circuiting the device. Mad, the Ringleader turns around and catches JJ peeking from a bush nearby. He uses his speed to grab her by the neck with his left hand. Afterward, he takes the helmet off his head with his right hand.
"You're going to wish you never did that," Ringleader spoke with venom. His left-hand grips JJ's neck harder.
JJ puts her hands on the maniac's left arm.
"Oh, by all means, struggle. It would make this much more satisfying," Ringleader said.
At the pumpkin patch, Lily and the dragon are still shooting their breath at each other. The other four contestants, the investigators, Chris, Chef, Duncan, and Noah watch the duel.
"Man, it's been what, five hours?" Tamera complained.
"Actually, it's only been five minutes," Fenton answered.
"Figure of speech Fenton," Tamera replied.
Lily is getting tired and stops breathing toxic waste. Casey halts the dragon from breathing fire. Lily starts shrinking back to her normal size and faints.
"Guess that's it," Buford stated.
"No, we still need to take care of the toxic waste down at the lab," Lilith reminded.
"And JJ is still dealing with the Ringleader," Lucy added. She looks at the dragon. "Casey, go help JJ!" The DIT shouted to get the girl's attention.
"You got it!" Casey replied happily from the control room and takes off.
At the empty carnival booth section, Ringleader is still choking JJ. One will most likely be dead by this point being choked, but because of the boost of strength and endurance the mushroom JJ ate she can hold on despite struggling to breathe.
Ringleader takes note of this and tosses her to the ground. JJ is shown flopping around like a fish as she regains her breath.
"Apparently I can't end your life just yet, but what I'm about to do will make you consider the option," Ringleader spoke calmly as he approaches the clown. He puts his left foot on JJ's right shoulder to stop her squirming. He slowly puts pressure on her shoulder then in an instant, crushes it with his left foot.
Ringleader waits for JJ to scream but all the clown does is open her mouth widely in pain.
"Ugh, you're mute, aren't you?" Ringleader realized. "That's disappointing." The maniac takes a green grenade out of his suit. "Should have stocked more on these instead of the blue one. Oh well, welcome to the family."
Before the Ringleader can pull the pin from the grenade, the open jaws of the mechanical dragon close in on him. In one chomp, the dragon keeps the maniac inside its mouth. The beast's next move is looking up to the sky and breathing fire, permanently ending the Ringleader's life for good.
Casey opens the dragon's belly from the inside so she can get out of the mechanical contraption. The rest of the gang that was at the pumpkin patch arrived. All check on JJ to see if she is okay.
Chef immediately notices the clown's injured right shoulder. "Oof, that looks broken alright. You will need a cast and most likely surgery."
"Wait," Fenton said, having a sad feeling where this is going. He and Lilith help JJ get up. "Does that mean…"
"Yes Fenton, JJ has to leave the competition," Chris told him. "She can still play if she wants to, but the shoulder and arm will not be at full capacity. Plus, the new contracts are really picky when it comes to certain injuries. So, I wouldn't risk it and get to a hospital."
Everyone looks at JJ's right arm. It is bending the opposite side where it is supposed to be. The clown is still smiling. She understands what needs to happen next.
"What happened to the Ringleader?" Lucy asked Casey.
"Oh, I ate him then burn him alive. He's a pile of dust right now," Casey answered cheerfully.
"Well, that takes care of him," Lucy told everybody. "Saraphina, Christopher, and I will call our designated cops from the team to take care of the toxic waste."
"I'll drive JJ to the nearest hospital," Rosalina spoke as she crosses her arms. "It's the least I can do after she distracted the Ringleader."
"Chef, go get my phone and call the producers. I need to have an important discussion with them," Chris ordered the cook. He looks at the injured contestant. "JJ, you have my sincere thanks."
JJ gives him a thumbs up with her working hand.
The host then looks at the final four contestants. "Go get some rest. Everyone gets to stay at the gold tent. Think of it as a reward for rescuing me."
Everybody gives their thanks and goodbyes to JJ. Not much else they can do since hugging is out of the question. Fenton follows Rosalina and his friend to the entrance of the carnival.
Confessional – Buford
"This is going to sound harsh, but I'm glad JJ is out of the game. No, I'm not saying I'm glad she got injured because JJ did not deserve that no matter how annoying I found her using that wig. She's a worthy player, but her staying in the game decreases my chances of getting the money."
He smiles. "Take care girl and get some rest."
Confessional – Lilith
"We didn't interact much besides teaming up to take out Caleb, but JJ is a great person volunteering to defeat the Ringleader. Will most likely give some of the cash prize to her if I win."
Confessional – Tamera
"Three players stand in my way to win. Wonder how I'm going to go through this."
End Confessionals
Time has passed and Chris is shown with Lucy at the pumpkin patch. All the members of Chaos X, Iris, and the mutated animals are together in a pile. Casey used the dragon really well on them.
"They are going to wake up eventually," Chris told the DIT. "We don't know how they are going to react."
"Don't worry, Sara, Christopher, and the other cops are coming with the anti-mutant guns you had in Back to the Islands," Lucy happily told. "We'll take care of them from here. And the other mutant animals."
"That was fast getting permission from the producers," Chris admitted.
"Well, it was easy to convince them when talking about the Ringleader coming back to the carnival with a group of teens that want to take over the world," Lucy pointed out.
"True," Chris agreed.
After an awkward silence, the blonde speaks. "Shouldn't you like, end the episode?"
Chris chuckles. "Right, let me get on that." He looks at a camera. "The Ringleader has been slain! Chaos X is no more! JJ gets injured but walks out as a hero! How will Fenton go on without any allies left? Can Buford and Lilith's alliance remain intact? Will Tamera somehow managed not to be eliminated in the next challenge? Find out next time on Total… Drama… Carnival Calamity!"
Fenton, Rosalina, and JJ are outside the carnival. The hole Iris made at the entrance is still there. Pharaoh arrives driving the lame-o-sine. Once parked, the fake royal opens the driver's door and gets out of the limo.
"Would it not have been better to get an ambulance for her?" Pharaoh asked Rosalina while feeling disturbed at JJ's broken arm.
"Arriving in a limo gives her priority," Rosalina simply answered. "Let's go JJ." Rosalina enters the driver's seat and closes the door.
"Let me help you get in there," Fenton told her friend and opens the right backdoor. "I'll win the season for both of us, I promise."
JJ uses her left arm to give a hug to her friend. After all that has happened, she is still smiling. Even though the pain she is still smiling. She helped stop the Ringleader and made friends throughout the competition. Finishing the hug, the silent clown enters the lame-o-sine.
Fenton waves goodbye as Rosalina takes her to a hospital.
Pharaoh realizes that he got left behind and starts running after the limo.

Author's Note: This episode is a mix for me. For starters, yes, this does not feel like a typical Total Drama episode. Though, I guess one can say this could be similar to Scarlett Fever. Point is, when creating the idea of the Ringleader, his returning episode was supposed to feel more like an epic battle. Basically, the Ringleader was a solo act where he would arrive in the aftermath and mutate several contestants to make his army more powerful coming into the carnival.
However, I scrapped that idea out and replaced it with Chaos X. I also intended to have the full Calamity Cast come to aid in the Ringleader fight. But that would be too similar to the Radiant Finale from Radiant Redemption. After scrapping that plot as well, I realized the whole battle becomes rather one-sided thanks to Casey coming back with the mechanical dragon.
I did my best to make it entertaining while still making the Ringleader a dangerous threat not to mess with.
Onto the eliminated contestant, JJ. When setting up Carnival Calamity, I always wanted to get a clown in the cast. It just makes sense given the setting. I love this clown and am so happy I could write her. From figuring out ways to express herself since she is mute to taking whatever stuff she finds inside her wig; JJ is fantastic at what she does. It does suck she goes home by injury, but hey, her sacrifice might just have given her a million or two from whoever are the finalists.
Speaking of potential finalists, we are down to the final four. It has been a long journey coming. However, there is still the final aftermath. Which is the next chapter. Considering the six contestants that have been eliminated, oh boy there is bound to be drama going on. Ask them questions if you like by leaving a review or PMing me.
