"Okay, ladies and gents. That was an exciting first match. But that excitement must continue on." Chi Ta said. "So here comes the second battle with this next competitor!" she called out as lights started to shine. "From the heavens above, this woman has protected humanity in her world for who knows how long. Forgive humans even if they're greedy little bugs. That's the motto she goes by. She's the Goddess of Light. Welcome...Palutena!" she called out as Palutena descended down to the stage on a ray of light.

"Only the second match, and one of our groups is facing Palutena one on one? This tournament's a banger already." Zephyr said.

"Fighting a deity, hm? Wouldn't be the first time." Y'shtola said.

"And now for her opponent! Spirit Force, please select your chosen warrior." Chi Ta said.

"We're up!" Saki said as Spirit force huddled up. "Alright, this is Palutena we're going against here. Who wants her?"

"Given she's a goddess, she won't be an easy opponent to face." Y'shtola said.

"I shall go." Magress said.

"All right then." Chi Ta said as the light shined down on Spirit Force's side. "From the darkest depths, this knight seeks not glory or remembrance but only vengeance. Can this being of the dark be enough to overcome the light. Welcome...Magress!" Chi Ta called out as the audience cheered.

"Vengeance leads only to greater vengeance... To break this chain, I and I alone shall bear all of the vengeful rage…" Magress said, materializing Leomurg.

"Now...for the location…" Chi Ta said as a new location materialized around the fighters. "Palutena's Temple!"

"Well...this seems fitting. Fighting on my home turf." Palutena said.

"Indeed. Shall we begin, Goddess of Light?" Magress said.

"Let the battle begin!" Chi Ta called out.

"Oh..it just did. Autoreticle!" Palutena called out as a reticle appeared on Magress as spheres of light hit him.

"Yeah! That's how you do it, Lady Palutena!" Pit cried from the stands as a few of the Centurions cheered with him. "Sorry, Magress, but I gotta side with Palutena on this one." Pit said.

"It is understandable, for the captain of her guard." Magress said. "Shadow Needle!" he called, unleashing needles of concentrated darkness.

"Reflect!" Palutena said, blocking the needles and sending them back before flying close to Magress and hitting him with her staff.

"Diabolic Whirl!" Magress called, advancing and unleashing a flurry of rapid attacks. "Endure this!" he said, blasting her back with a burst of darkness.

"Well...then we'll have to use the big guns." Palutena said. "Black Hole!" she said as a large black hole materialized as Magress was pulled into it.

"Oh yeah! She's ready to finish this!" Pit called out.

"Yeah!" the centurions called out as one held a banner that said CONGRATULATIONS, PALUTENA.

"And...Mega Laser!" Palutena said as a large laser was fired right into Magress, dealing massive damage.

"As expected...of a goddess, but…" Magress started as a dark aura flared around him as he looked up. "Hatred is what drives me!" he finished before raising his hand as a dark sphere formed around Palutena. "Finishing Strike...Judecca!" he called as multiple arrows of darkness launched from multiple directions through the sphere before he launched Leomurg into it and caused it to explode while dealing immense damage, the result sending Palutena flying.

"Well...oh well." Palutena said as she fell out of the arena.

"And...that is game set and match! The winner of the second match is...Magress!" Chi Ta called out as the audience roared in applause.

Magress soon approached Palutena as he gently helped her up. "T'was a marvelous battle, Lady Palutena."

"It was. I'm glad I had the chance to fight one of the Six Heroes." Palutena said.

"You honor me. And I fully understand now why Pit looks up to you." Magress said, with the hint of a small smile.

"Don't worry. I'll avenge your loss in a later match, Lady Palutena!" Pit cried out in tears along with a number of the Centurions.

"Geez...get a hobby already." Yang said.
