"Okay...now the next battle has been decided as we welcome our next fighter." Chi Ta said.

"He has come from the divided land of Fodlan. A teacher to the children of both the Adrestian Empire, Faerghus Kingdom and the Leicester Alliance. All from the officers academy. He wields the powerful Sword of the Creator. He is the Ashen Demon! Welcome...Byleth!" Chi Ta called out as Byleth entered the arena.
"Hey, isn't that…?" Noelle asked. "That's the one who came to help during the Elf invasion."
"He's the one I summoned out of desperation." Leonis said.
"Wasn't expecting to see him here. Who'd have guessed he'd become a Smash fighter?" Adora asked.
"Hey, professor. You can win this!" Claude called out as he stood with the Golden Deer house.
"Yes. Remain vigilant." spoke Dimitri with the Blue Lion house.
"Don't underestimate your enemies." Edelgard said as she stood with the Black Eagle house.
"Hmm?" Ace said. "How interest…" he shivered. "Something wicked just passed by me."
"Pardon...but...that one will not be the victor of this battle." Diablo said, taking a seat.
"Whoa, what the?!" Frosta asked.
"Uh...this is Diablo...he's a new member of Mythos Hearts. He's also a demon so...don't be afraid." Theo said.
"No worries, we're cool." Hope said. "But uh, why do you think Byleth's not gonna win?"
"Because his opponent...is someone of a very special existence." Diablo said.
"And now...let's introduce his opponent...coming right from Mythos Hearts." Chi Ta said. "Once an ordinary human but reincarnated as a slime and since then has started a number of startling changes to the world, even becoming a demon lord. He's the King of Monsters! Welcome ...Rimuru...Tempest!" she called out as Rimuru walked into the arena.
"Ah, now I understand." Hope said.
"Indeed...is my master not glorious in this stage?" Diablo said. "And after this...I'll work hard to be his best butler."
"Sorry but the position of secretary is filled." Shion said.
"You say that for now…" Diablo said as the two glared at each other.
"This demon...is something else." Spade said.
"Uh...about that. Do you know about...demon primordials?" Theo asked.
"Yeah. Seven demons from which all others come from. That legend has been spread in multiple universes. Why?" Simon asked.
"Well…" Theo said silently pointing to Diablo.
"So he's one of them then. The Black Primordial Noir." Spade said, slightly sweating on the side of his head.
"Yeah...but try not to make too much of a big deal about it...seriously. I think he might kill us if we speak of this to Rimuru." Theo said.
"What? But...oh…" Ace said.
"Huh...wonder what they were talking about…" Rimuru pondered.
"As for the location...it is Garreg Mach Monastery!" Chi Ta said as the two fighters were transported. "Let the fight...begin!"
Both fighters drew their swords as they clashed against one another.
"Both fighters fight with the sword...it's sort of incredible how many sword fighters reside in this tournament." Ingrid said.
"Yeah but it's nothing the professor can handle." Hilda said.
"So true." Claude said.
Rimuru continued to clash with Byleth before managing to knock the sword right out of his hands.
"And Byleth is now defenseless and left open for an attack!" Chi Ta called out.
"That's it, master!" Ranga called out.
"Finish it." Hakurou said.
Before Rimuru could land the final blow, something shot through his slime body.
"What the?" Rimuru said looking back to see it was some sort of arrow before looking back to see Byleth holding a strange bow.
"That's Failnaught!" Bernadetta said.
"Heh...good eye. I handed it over to the professor before the battles began." Claude said.
"He used a bow? I thought he was a sword fighter." Adora said.
"Yes, that seems to be the case, but…" Double D said.
"Looks to me like he's quite versatile. Well, when you're a tutor in a combat academy, I...suppose you would have to be." David said.
"I didn't expect him to have a bow. I'll have to go into close combat." Rimuru said flying in close before narrowly dodging a strike from a strange lance.
"Now he's using a spear!" Perfuma said.
"That is Areadbhar. It's my Hero's relic. I also handed it to the professor before the battle." Dimitri said.
"So he can use two different types of weapons?" Glimmer asked.
"No, it's actually three." Hubert said.
Rimuru looked up as he saw an axe coming down on him as it cut off his arm.
"An axe, huh? I guess we can assume that's yours?" Zacian asked Edelgard.
"Yes. It's called Aymr. It's been passed down from the empire for a long time." Edelgard said.
"He's able to wield four different weapons at a time…." Noelle said. "He's not your average professor."
"Of course he isn't. He's OUR professor." Claude said.
"And we want to see him win more than anything." Dimitri said.
"That's why we handed him our personal weapons." Edelgard said.
"So we can join the fight in spirit!" the three of them said.
"So it's like I'm fighting four people at once." Rimuru said. "You've done pretty well. From one teacher to another...you've taught your students well."
"I take that as high praise." Byleth said.
"Yeah...but...the fight isn't over yet." Rimuru said as the aura around him intensified.
"So we're finally going to see Rimuru's new strength as a Demon Lord." Theo said.
"Demon Lord?" Hope asked. "Hold on, did you say Rimirus now a-?"
"Beelzebub!" Rimuru said creating a vortex as it seemed to sap the energy from Byleth as well as anything loose.
"This power…" Byleth said.
"We are not going to last long if you do not fight back against him." a voice echoed inside him. "Grab your sword!"
Byleth rolled as he grabbed the Sword of the Creator before he started swinging the chain-like sword.
"The time has come!" the voice said as the two opponents clashed with one another once more.
"Whoa...did...did the professor…" Ashe said.
The dust soon cleared to show both opponents on the ground with both of them kneeling.
"Hmm…" Chi Ta said, looking at both sides. "Both sides are unable to continue to fight. Therefore...this fight is a no contest!"
"To think there was someone that can fight him to a draw." Edelgard mused.
"So this is the strength of the King of Monsters." Dimitri said.
"I wouldn't want to make him my enemy." Claude said.
"You...you were pretty good." Rimuru said.
"Same to you." Byleth said.
"Hmm...say...after this tournament thing...we should talk. I have a lot to run by you and your students." Rimuru said.
"I think I'd like that." Byleth said as the two got up and left the arena side by side.
"That professor was very strong to be able to fight Rimuru to a tie. If I ever have kids...I might consider applying." David said.
"Same here." Jexi said.
"Oh...my master is so generous to allow that to happen." Diablo said as he seemed on the verge of tears.
"Yeesh...for a demon, he's very emotional." Nami said.
"Though now it seems like a bright future for our country." Benimaru said.
