"Still, it's kind of hard to believe that Reformed Society decided to back out." Dawn said.

"They're partial owners of this place, after all. They have a right to decide if they wanted in or not." Leopardmon said.

"Yeah, the news was kind of unexpected, but...I'm very certain the fighters that were expecting them would understand." David said.

"Okay...ladies and gentlemen...the next match has been decided to let's begin!" Chi Ta said on screen. "This next fighter is the height of robotics and AI. His laser beams can shoot right through solid steel and he can fly. He is the Last of his Kind. And the only one of his kind. He is the Robotic Operating Buddy or...R.O.B!" she said as the robot in question wheeled its way into the arena.

"Oh wow. She's not wrong there. The specs on this thing are very well-designed!" Miu said.

"As for his opponent...it'll be someone from the Brave Adventurers this time." Chi Ta said.

"Our choice is an easy one." David said.

"Ah...okay...then I won't waste time then." Chi Ta said. "From the coldest of factories, this model has been manufactured only for battle and destruction. But this one is different as he has his own thoughts and is no one's pawn. He is the Mass Produced Warrior! Welcome...Fulgore!"

Fulgore walked over to the stage with a wave as he soon faced his opponent.

"You really are an interesting opponent. I take it you have your own soul as well?" Fulgore asked.

R.O.B just clicked a bit before it moved its arms.

"And the location this time is...Mario Bros.!" Chi Ta said as the two of them ended up in a 2D landscape with moving turtles and crabs. "You may...begin!"

"Wow… So retro." Fulgore said, taking in the landscape.

"Go, Fulgy!" Leviathan cheered.

R.O.B then started charging up a gyromite and fired it right into Fulgore as it continued to spin.

"Nice shot there." Fulgore said as he fired his plasma claws.

R.O.B's eyes started to glow before firing a laser beam that broke through the attack and hit Fulgore.

"Oof! Looks like I might have to get serious here." Fulgore said as he started charging up his reactor. Once R.O.B. closed in for an attack, Fulgore activated his cloak and came up behind R.O.B. "I'm right here!" Fulgore said as he landed a hit on R.O.B.

R.O.B clicked as it spun around and counterattacked against Fulgore who then landed a hit of his own.

"Gotta say, you're putting up quite the struggle. I might be seeing a kindred spirit here." Fulgore said.

"Whoa...we got a real battle of rock'em sock'em robots here. This is getting exciting!" Chi Ta said as the audience cheered.

"Yeah! Knock his block off!" one guy shouted.

Fulgore comes up to R.O.B. with a fierce kick as R.O.B went back with a punch before jumping back as its laser started to charge.

"Oh, this is going to be good." Fulgore said as he got to a defensive stance.

R.O.B then fired a destructive laser beam as Fulgore braved it as it tore off pieces of his robotic armor as he was sliding back.

"Whew… That was quite the force! It managed to chip parts of my armor off. But unfortunately… Now, it's my turn." Fulgore said as his chest armor opened as his reactor was at full power. "Devastation Beam...Fire!" he said as he fired a powerful beam at R.O.B.

R.O.B only looked down as the beam hit him as he was sent flying far away.

"And this match has reached its conclusion. The winner here is...Fulgore!" Chi Ta called out as the audience cheered.

Fulgore came up to R.O.B. and carried him onto his back. "Come on, up and at 'em. Let's get ourselves fixed up now, shall we?"

R.O.B nodded as both headed to the infirmary.

"Man, oh man. Those two really knew how to bring in their power." Arctozolt said, sweating a bit.

"Yeah but in the end...it was pretty fun to watch. Hopefully the next match will be too. A real knockout." Zexi said.
