"Okay...for this match, it'll be a sport of kings...boxing. And here is our first opponent." Chi Ta said. "From New York City, our little fighter has fists like rockets and the strongest punches around, especially having won multiple championships. He's the Bruiser from the Bronx! Welcome...Little Mac!"

Walking out in a pink hoodie came the boxer with Doc Louis by his side as Little Mac soon shed his hoodie and looked ready to fight.

"Show'em what you got, baby." Doc said.

"As for his opponent...this time Team Chronicle has been selected. So please pick your fighter." Chi Ta said.

"Okay, Little Mac's weakness is that he's useless in the air. Only problem is… this match probably won't let us take advantage of that." Mark said in Team Chronicle's group huddle. "Which means we'll need to outmatch him in strength."

"You want me to go, Mark?" Moltar asked.

"No, we'll save you just in case." Mark said.

"Moltar's the only one who's a fist fighter, and the rest of the hand to hand fighters are martial arts guys." Rainbow-2 mentioned. "Unless anyone knows how to only fight with just two hands, we're sunk."

Mark looked at Rainbow-2 before he turned his head to Garnet.

"You all forgot about me for a second there." Garnet stated bluntly.

"Our apologies, Garnet." Double D said. "Would you like to partake in a boxing match with Little Mac?"

"Leave it to me." Garnet said as she made her way to the entrance.

"This fist fighter is made of double the trouble, a fusion formed of mutual love between two gems! Her punches can break boulders, and her three eyes can see the future! She's the Contradiction! Welcome...Garnet!" Chi Ta said as the audience was in a frenzy. "And since we're talking boxing...the stage this time is...a Boxing Ring!" she said as a ring came up from the ground.

Little Mac tugged his gloves.

"Just so you know, I won't back down just because I'm human and you're not." Little Mac said.

"I wouldn't expect anything less." Garnet replied, summoning her gauntlets.

"Let the battle...begin!" Chi Ta called out.

"Duck and weave, Mac!" Doc said as Little Mac was already quick on the offense and defense.

For her part, Garnet stood her ground, blocking the punches thrown at her. The Fusion aimed a punch of her own at the boxer, which he ducked under before landing a hit on Garnet's face, which only slightly fazed her.

"(I'm stronger, but he's faster)" Garnet thought as she continued to block and counter. "(Fortunately, I have a way to deal with that.)"

On the opposing side, Little Mac had his own strategy: his hit-and-run tactics had allowed him to charge up his K.O. Uppercut.

"The KO Uppercut. One punch from that fist always knocks out anyone it hits and sends them flying." Chi Ta said.

And so, the Bronx boxer raced towards Garnet and raised his arm up to land the blow… only to see the Gem had leaned out of the way of the attack.

"You've left yourself open now." Garnet said as she landed a heavy punch to Little Mac's face, sending him stumbling back.

"You saw that uppercut coming before I tried to hit you… so that's the seeing into the future part." Little Mac noted, shaking his head. "Y'know, I would call that cheating, but this is a tournament between worlds, and Shulk does the same thing anyway."

"So, not going to give up?" Garnet asked.

"No...just gotta let out." Little Mac said as he grew larger and looked more wild.

"Whoa! Little Mac just turned into… Big Mac!" Eddy exclaimed.

"I believe the proper term is Giga Mac." Scott said.

"Rar!" Giga Mac roared as he came at Garnet with a flurry of rapid blow punches.

The Fusion didn't flinch, answering the flurry with one of her own, the two trading blows for several moments before Giga Mac tried to land an uppercut on Garnet to end the fight. However… Garnet slammed her fist into the rising punch, stopping it dead in its tracks.

"You're a powerful boxer, Little Mac…" Garnet said before she quickly shot her fist up, landing an uppercut of her own on Mac's jaw. "...but you can't beat me yet."

The uppercut launched Giga Mac into the air before he came crashing down on his side of the ring before shrinking back down into Little Mac, unconscious.

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! Knockout! The match is over! And our champ of the round is...Garnet!" Chi Ta said, holding up the Fusion's arm as the audience applauded.

"That was a hell of an uppercut." Akane said. "You Crystal Gems really should have more fights."

"Yeah, come to think of it, us heroes of Cross-World seem to be the parts of Team Chronicle that see the most action." Scarlet said. "Hopefully, we can get more variation for our fights in the future."

"And here, you all will definitely get more chances to shine." Jexi said. "That's a guarantee."

"Heh...good point. Let's hope that is the case." Scarlet said.
