"Match number six is coming in hot and ready to start as we introduce our next fighter!" Mon Ki said. "From the legendary Star Fox team, this loner was part of an intergalactic gang, competed in races and prides himself as their ace pilot. He is the Proud Space Ace! Falco...Lombardi!" he called out as Falco dropped down from his Arwing and into the arena, landing with style.

"Well, that's one way to make an entrance." Mark noted.

"That's Falco for you." Rainbow said.

"Hmm… He kind of looks like a spitting image of myself, when one makes a comparison." Revali said.

"Except he can't fly...with his wings." Sunset said.

"As for his opponent...Team Chronicle has been chosen." Mon Ki said.

"Us again…" Scarlet noted. "So, Falco's at his best when he's airborne, so we'll need someone that can match them in that way."

"Wait, that means the best member to send is-" ZS started.

"Me!" Rainbow-2 declared, spreading her wings. "Don't worry, I totally got this!"

"If you insist." SE said.

"Just don't let your guard down." Piccolo said. "He may be unable to fly like you can, but he has ways to compensate for that."

"Sure, I hear you." Rainbow-2 replied before she flew towards and landed in the arena.

"Well, looks like someone's not wasting time. So let's introduce her!" Mon Ki said. "She is the Equestrian incarnation of loyalty and daring. As fast as any hedgehog, this pegasus is not going to slow down for anything. She's the Sonic Rainbow of Loyalty! She is...Rainbow Dash!" he called out as Rainbow-2 entered the arena.

"Don't be too ashamed when I pluck all your feathers." Falco said.

"I'm not getting grounded today, flyboy. This is my first ever one on one fight since Team Chronicle got started, so I've got more than a few skills to show off." Rainbow-2 replied.

"The stage of battle for these two aerial fighters will be….Lylat Cruise!" Mon Ki announced as they appeared on a ship in space. "You may...begin."

"Get ready to dance." Falco said, drawing his blaster as he started firing.

The pegasus launched herself upward, casually dodging the laser blasts as she flew around. "Little slow on the trigger there, Falco!" RD-2 taunted her opponent.

"Rainbow-2's playing around with him. That's a mistake she'll soon regret." Vegeta remarked.

Falco smirked. "A real fly girl huh?" Falco said as he suddenly vanished.

"What? Where did…" she said before Falco dashed right into her.

"Bet you didn't see that one coming." Falco said.

"That looked like a Flash Step, only more...well, flashy." Eddy said.

"It's Falco Phantasm." Mark spoke up. "It's his version of Fox's Fox Illusion."

Rainbow-2 was sent falling down to the stage's floor, looking dizzy until she regained her focus and narrowed her eyes at Falco. "Okay. It. Is. On."

The pegasus shot herself straight towards Falco, slamming into him and moving upwards, taking the Star Fox pilot with her.

"Well, you said it...now it's on." Falco said as fire surrounded him as he clashed with the pegasus in midair. The two continued to try and push each other, until the Element of Loyalty moved away just enough to fly up and get directly above Falco.

"Sorry, your flight's being grounded!" RD-2 said as she bucked Falco in the back, sending him falling downwards. "Try and fasten your seatbelts!"

"Not a bad idea!" Falco shot back as he gave a whistle as a squadron of Arwings flew under him as he landed in one. "Okay...the mouthy horse is your target. Prepare to fire." Falco said.

"Uh oh." RD-2 said as she started flying, being pursued by the Arwings.

"Looks like the match just turned into a dogfight!" ZS said.

"Yeah...Star Fox isn't exactly poor shots either." Jet said.

"Man, Dash-2 really got herself in a crazy situation, huh?" Eddy remarked.

"I wouldn't count her out just yet." Princess Twilight spoke up. "I know exactly what she's trying to do now."

The group members not from Equestria looked back at the fight to see Rainbow-2 picking up speed as she narrowly dodged the Arwings's lasers.

"What's she trying to do? Is going faster her plan to avoid getting hit?" Emo asked. "It's not like Star Fox isn't used to taking on fast targets."

"That ain't what she's tryin' to do." Applejack-2 said. "Keep on watchin', y'all are 'bout to see Dash's talent in action."

Back in the fight, Rainbow Dash-2 kept going faster and faster, laser fire flying around her.

"(C'mon… almost there…!)" the pegasus pushed herself, until she felt the sensation of pressure forming a cone around her. "Yeah! Alright, time to turn things around!"

Rainbow-2 then pulled off sharp turns until she was heading towards Falco's Arwing. Even as it flew forward, she did not turn back.

"You wanna play chicken huh? Fine by me." Falco said as he engaged his weapon systems.

"This isn't chicken… it's jousting!" Rainbow-2 said as a rainbow-colored light started forming around her like a cone.

"Uh, what's happening?" Bow asked.

"I think we're about to find out." Roxas said.

Then, just as the pony and the Arwing were close to running into each other…

The sky lit up as a huge, vibrantly-colored ring of light exploded outwards behind the pegasus, breaking the sound barrier and making her even faster than she was before.

"Holy…!" Falco exclaimed as Rainbow blasted past Falco and sent the squad of Arwings spiraling out of control. As the ships started to crash down, Falco ejected from his Arwing, managing to land back on the stage proper. "Everytime I see this alliance, it's three weeks of repairs! Alright, where's that blue-?"

That was all Falco had time to say before a rainbow trail hit him, launching him straight off the stage. Rainbow-2 then landed back on the stage, smiling.

"I never get tired of pulling that off." the Element of Loyalty said.

"And the fight has ended in another victory. Not for Star Fox...but for the Rainbow Dash of Equestria!" Mon Ki called out as the audience cheered.

Falco recovered as RD-2 helped him up once the stage returned to normal.

"Okay, what the heck was that?" Falco asked. "After that big blast of color, you ended up going even faster than before."

"My signature move, the Sonic Rainboom. It's basically a Sonic Boom and a rainbow together. Once I pull it off, I'm the fastest thing in the air." Rainbow-2 said.

"Heh… well, you're definitely different from your human version. I'm not one to deny that I lost, but Fox is still waiting for his shot, I'm sure he'll pick up the slack." Falco said. "And… as much as I hate to admit, Wolf will probably do the same. Tell your teammates good luck."

"Thanks! You do the same!" RD-2 replied as she flew back to where her teammates were. "Okay, I'll take all comments about how awesome I was back there starting now."

For their part, most of Team Chronicle was speechless, some having their mouths hanging wide open.

"A lot of egos being thrown around here." Revali said.

"Like you're one to talk." Mayumi mused.

"She broke the sound barrier… in space." Moltar said.

"Whelp, it's official: Equestrian magic is broken." Emo said.

"Er, I think what he meant was, good job out there." Gohan said to Rainbow-2.

The other teams were watching Team Chronicle congratulate Rainbow-2.

"That last move was pretty impressive, but it was a little flashy. Also, it took a lot of time for her to build up." Catra said. "If the bird guy wasn't so cocky, he would've finished the fight any time before she got up to full speed."

"Still, the both of them put up a good fight. But we still have plenty more opponents to face off against." Xion said.
