This was a weird one, mostly due to the fact it was a dream. I have watched the Zyuranger episode and well, it was intersteeing how they had to change the monster of the day to what is in the episode. But still, this was a odd one, guess this was the best story that they could make from the episode that was being adapted? -shrugs-
I want to thank all who had favorited and followed this story as well as all the support for the fact that the main character and how she is trying to go through being a hero with her disability. It really means a lot.
Disclaimer, I don't own this. Power Rangers belongs to Hasbro. The only things I own is Eliza, her power as a Ranger and her Zord, and David along with the DVD set of the first three seasons.
Chapter 9 – For Whom the Bell Trolls
Eliza quietly walked to her locker and breathed, her parents had said while David was a good interpreter, they were going to get someone from a sign language service. Opening her locker, Eliza grabbed her books and jumped after she closed the locker and saw David there. David smiled and apologized for making her jump, the two walking to Ms. Applebee's class.
"So did you hear what my parents decided?" She asked, looking at him.
"About getting you a person from a sign language service?" He said, looking at her. "Yeah, I heard. And I am upset, but I hold no ill will. I'm not a professional and well, I rather have someone who is trained to help you. Sides, I want to know what they think of the Power Rangers."
"Yeah, those Rangers really seem to have been on the news lately." Eliza said, stepping into Ms. Applebee's classroom and went to their desks, greeting their friends and classmates. Soon Ms. Applebee came in and started the class by having Trini come up first. Eliza and David looked curious as she wheeled a cart of dolls to the front of the classroom.
"I want to show you guys my collection of dolls." She started. "It represents many cultures from around the world." She pointed at one and explained, "This doll here is from Japan. It wears an authentic kimono." Naturally, Bulk and Skull were themselves and not so subtly mocked her explanation, but Trini ignored them and showed them a unique looking doll that resembled a troll.
"This here is my favorite of them all, Mister Ticklesneezer." She explained. "It belonged to my mother when she was a little girl. Legend has it that Mister Ticklesneezer has his own unique power." To explain, Trini set the doll down and brought out a book, reading from it, "He can capture things and put them in a magic bottle."
Of course, Trini was unaware that Rita was watching and upon the doll, she began to hatch a evil plan in how to use it along with its unique power and destroy the Power Rangers.
So after Trini was done with her turn, the rest of the class showed their habits, such as Jason showing his bo staff and his skill in using it, next was Zack who brought in his surfboard, then Kimberly who showed off her gymnastics, finally Billy showed off a homemade volcano. When Ms. Applebee said it was time for Eliza and David to come up for their hobby, she breathed and stepped up to the front with David.
"First, I hope what we will be showing doesn't make any of you think differently of me." She said, then breathed and took out her hearing aids.
Everyone looked confused and then amazed as she began to sign and David smiled, speaking to translate. Kimberly beamed as they did so.
"'I am deaf.'" He translated. "'I was born hard of hearing and since I was a baby, needed hearing aids. So while I mainly use my hearing aids to hear and talk with you all, I take them out once in a while to practice sign language with David or Kimberly. If you have the patience and are willing, I can teach you how to do sign language.'"
Most of the class applauded while Bulk and Skulk just groaned, Ms. Applebee smiled and dismissed the class. Eliza breathed and put her hearing aids back in her ears as Kimberly hugged her.
"That was so great!" She said, smiling. "I'm so proud for the courage you had to be up there."
"Thanks, Kim." Eliza said, looking embarrassed.
"But hey, you all had great hobbies too." David said, Jason smiled and put his arm around his neck. They stepped out of the class, just missing the usual antics of Bulk and Skull trying to mess with Trini and Billy.
Something strange happened that night, while everyone was asleep, Baboo turned Ticklesneezeer alive and brought him to the moon to try and make him evil. Because of his good nature, it was hard for someone like Rita to turn him evil, but because of his ability to put things in bottles, she tasked him to use his bottle and collect the Power Rangers.
Eliza was practicing her martial arts with David in the Juice Bar, hitting the mats that he had on his hands to practice punching and kicking. Trini had left with Billy to find her missing doll and Eliza breathed, kneeling over to catch her breath. She stepped away to take a break and took a sip of her water bottle, David watched as Zack and Jason did some practice on the mat.
Then she and David watched as Zack and Jason broke stacks of wood, they didn't see as Bulk tried to chomp a soft cake and still hurt his hand. Suddenly, Eliza, Zack, Jason, and Kimberly heard their communicators and ran to a empty area in order to teleport to the Command Center.
Getting there, Jason spoke, "Zordon, we got your message."
"What's up?" Zack asked.
"Billy and Trini are in serious danger." Zordon warned.
Eliza turned as Alpha gave a 'Ay-yi-yi-yi', and walked to the Viewing Globe, seeing a familiar looking being holding a bottle. Alpha told them, "Danger is right!"
"Wait, hold on a second." Eliza said. "Isn't that…."
"Yeah, it's Mister Ticklesneezer." Jason told her, confirming her thought.
"What is he doing?" Kimberly asked, as they watched him open a bottle and smoke was coming from somewhere.
"This must be the special ability Trini said he had." Eliza said, analyzing the scene on the Globe.
"You're right, he's capturing everything in sight." Zack said, looking worried.
"Rita has Ticklesneezer under her spell and is controlling him." Zordon told them as they watched him take things like a airplane, a train, and saw a bottle with a familiar white car. "And now Billy and Trini have fallen into her trap."
The four watched as Trini tried to call for help to the others as was Billy, the two of them hitting the windows of the car, Kimberly gasped.
"That's Billy and Trini." She said, looking at the others. "You guys, we gotta help them!"
"Rita has already sent down a small army of putties to protect Ticklesneezer." Zordon told them.
"We'll get through them." Zack told the imprisoned sage.
"And she's also sent down Goldar, Squat, and Baboo." Zordon added.
"Oh, of course." Eliza said, facepalming.
"Oh man, you guys, we gotta hurry!" Kimberly told them.
"It's morphin' time." Jason said to his team.
The four remaining Rangers changed into their forms as Rangers and headed to where the Putties were, immediately fighting them. Eliza brought out her hammer and swung it, hitting the Putties and tossing some small bombs at the Putties' feet to make them jump. Watching the fight, Ticklesneezer tried to leave but tripped over a stone brick and tossed the bottle with the two Rangers in the air.
Luckily, Kimberly jumped and caught the bottle, she breathed, "That was a close one! Are you guys all right?"
When they gave a 'Yeah', Kimberly told them, "Hang on, guys! I'll have you out of there!"
But before Kimberly could try and free them, Goldar suddenly attacked her and hit her, having her let go of the bottle and it fell onto the nearby train track with the bell ringing a train was coming soon. Eliza and Kimberly jumped together, Kimberly grabbed the bottle and Eliza opened the bottle, freeing the car from the bottle.
As the two stepped out of the car, Eliza shouted, "Billy, Trini. Hurry and morph!"
"We need your help!" Kimberly added.
They nodded and morphed, changing into their forms as Rangers. Their joining in added a much needed help while Rita order Ticklesneezer order to collect the Rangers and grew him. As the Rangers were tossed, Goldar laughed when he, Squat, and Baboo disappeared, leaving the team to see the enlarged Ticklesneezer.
"Rita made him even bigger!" Kimberly told everyone.
"No problem!" Jason reassured her. "All we need is Dinozord power!"
With that, each Ranger summoned their respective Zord and combined them into the Megazord. However, Ticklesneezer brought out a new bottle and opened it, capturing the Zord in the bottle. However, Jason summoned the Megasword to free them and used the bottle to capture Rita, but she escaped, freeing Ticklesneezer and everything he took was returned.
Suddenly, Trini woke up, gasping for air and breathed. She looked as she turned on her light, seeing somehow Ticklesneezer on the floor and held him as she went back to sleep. The next day, Bulk and Skull attempted to show their hobby, a flea circus but the fleas were missing and it appeared Ms. Applebee suddenly had them.
Personally, my hobbies are gaming, drawing, and well, this, fanfic writing. But everyone has their own hobbies and I won't complain if it is something weird, that's what makes us different.
Next time, the Rangers prepare for Zack's birthday, Zack feels like his friends had forgotten his special day, Rita attempts to isolate Zack to defeat him, Eliza thinks on her friendship with the others. Please R & R if you enjoyed it and I will see you in the next chapter.
