I love you and I want you
As a friend, but as a lover
Your hand on mine provokes feelings
I've perfected how to cover
Work, bugs, and more work
That's all you really do
But if you came with me
There's a whole new world I'd show you
A world with human contact
And feelings good and bad
Yes, there would be some hard times
But think of the love we'd have
I know you love me too
Your eyes give you away
A glance here, a stare there
But those things you will never say
So we keep on being the best of friends
With a connection most people envy
And even though I still want more
As long as I'm with you, I'm happy
