"All right...now it's time for battle number 5 and we are definitely feeling alive." Vi Per said as the lights shined down. "From a distant land, this boy contacted by aliens has gone to heck and back to save the world. Facing an extraterrestrial threat alongside his friends. He is the PSI Powerhouse...Ness!" she said as Ness walked on into the arena.

"O-kay. Time to get some revenge for Lucas!" Ness said.

"It is time." Litty said as she walked to the arena.

"And his opponent. This little girl may be cute but don't let that fool you. She is a raging conduit of psychic power. Power that is only equal to the beings of the Psychic Universe. She is...the Psychic Child! Welcome...Litty!" Vi Per said.

"Ness, it is a pleasure to see you again." Litty said.

"I remember you. You're the one who saved Lucas in the world of light, and then saved me." Ness said. "I never got to thank you properly afterwards. It's a shame I'm fighting you again, this time without Galeem involved."

"It is not a problem at all. And we will be free to talk later. Now...shall we begin?" Litty said, assuming a fighting stance as her two crystal balls circled above her. "I wish to see the strength of the one who defeated Giygas."

"Sure thing." Ness said.

"Let's set the stage for this battle of Psychics! It is...Onett!" Vi Per said as the two appeared in the small town. "You may...begin!"

"Shockwave." Litty said, levitating one of her orbs in front of her hands as she charged in as a beam-like blade appeared as she attacked.

"PK Fire!" Ness said, knocking Litty back with a fire attack.

"Energy Rounds." Litty said as she levitated into the air a bit and fired multiple energy blasts from her crystal balls with each thrust motion from her arms. "Explosion." she followed up as one of the blasts formed into an emblem before bursting into multiple small energy balls that scattered in many directions.

"PK Magnet!" Ness said, attracting the projectiles before sending them right back at Litty.

"Aqua Barrier." Litty called as her Blue Crystal Ball formed a ring of water around her and formed a barrier around her in doing so, nullifying the attack as she soon dismissed it.

"PK Flash!" Ness called, emitting a green ball of psychic energy.

"Meteor Strike." Litty said, raising her hands above her as her red crystal ball slowly grew to the size of a boulder before she soon warped just as the attack was about to hit her and appeared above Ness's head as she dropped it, comically flattening him. "Had e...nough?" she said before finding him gone.

"Paula! Poo!" Ness's voice called out as he was above Litty as his allies appeared by his side.

"PK...STARSTORM!" the three called out as large projectiles rained down from above.

"This is quite a conundrum." Litty said as she attempted to dodge the incoming shooting stars. "Whirlwind." she said, materializing four more crystals as they formed a large tornado around her as it deflected the incoming projectiles before they started breaking through and ramparting her. Once the shower ended, Litty was barely standing as Ness looked in surprise. "Okay...let's finish this." she said, gathering her energy. "Revenge Magic...Illusion Storm!" she said as a multitude of her crystal balls materialized as they swarmed Ness, but in reality only phased through them before a crystal ball with psychic energy around it shot into Ness and sent him flying.

"And the fight has reached its conclusion. The winner of this...weird battle...is Litty!" Vi Per said as the audience cheered.

"You've fought well." Litty said before she soon collapsed from exhaustion.

"Okay...and these two psychics will recuperate in our infirmary." Vi Per said as the two of them were taken out of the arena.

"With that...looks like all the Earthbound fighters are out of the running. Geez...how long have people been asking for Mother 3 in the USA?" Sunset said.

"Way too long." Hope said.

"Anyway...with that fight over, can't wait to see who is coming to play next. All these fights this round have been incredible." Theo said.

"Yeah...though...I get this feeling we're about to be pulled into another fight." Kazuma said.
