First, I want to say I am not discontinuing or postponing the next chapter. That is not what this post is about. So, if any of you saw the AN on the chapter title and thought "oh god he's abandoning his story like so many other authors." Let me assure you: that is not happening, you can breathe now.
I'm sending out this chapter as a test. I was cleaning out my inbox yesterday and realized that I hadn't received any notifications about chapter updates in a while. And I remembered that I didn't get a notification when I posted chapter 15, and I hadn't gotten any reviews on the chapter either. So, I checked and of course you guys had left reviews, but I hadn't been getting them. Then I checked some of my favorite stories and saw that three of them had been updated. Well... two stories were updated, but one had been updated twice. And these were just the ones I've found so far.
I don't know if there was some maintenance issue with the sight and I just didn't get the memo (pun intended) or what happened but I'm not getting messages from . So, I'm posting this chapter just to see if I receive a notification. If I don't get some kind of email by the end of the day, then I'm contacting the administrators and letting them know about my problem. But if you guys have any ideas about what could be wrong and how to fix it, please, send me a PM. Those still make it to my account inbox. I appreciate your patience, and please bear with me while I fix what is wrong with my account.
