"All right. Now we bring in our next opponent who is sure to be as monstrous as his reputation." Cra Ne said. "From the deep recesses of space, this space pirate is notorious for the trail of death he leaves in his wake. Nothing but a true beast. The Cunning God of Death! Welcome...Ridley!" he said as Ridley came flying in before letting out a terrifying shriek.

"Such a terrifying being." Thorani said.

"Yeah, no joke. Hard to believe we had to bring this guy along against Galeem and Dharkon." David said.

"We didn't have a choice. In order to fulfill the best outcome possible, we needed everyone's support, including Ridley's. Getting his wasn't exactly easy." Sectonia said.

"It's like they always say, the enemy of our enemy is our friend." Ace said.

"And he's someone that no one would want as an enemy. Believe us, we know." David said.

"That was right before we met, wasn't it?" Ace asked.

"Erm, yes. Kind of." David said. "But… He wasn't exactly like that during the fourth tournament, however. According to records, there was one stage in that tournament where Ridley was a prop. If enough damage was dealt to him, he becomes an ally of whoever dealt the last blow, albeit temporarily. And before you guys go on your tirades, yes. This applies to everyone who was a main draw fighter at that time...including Samus."

"The Pyrosphere, huh." Roy said.

"But why didn't the Pyrosphere come back?" Jesse asked.

"Ridley is a main draw fighter now. Wouldn't be much point." Mayumi said.

"Makes sense." Mari said.

"Well...doesn't matter either way." Sectonia said. "I've already struck the big reptile down...time to do it a second time."

"Be careful, Sectonia." David said.

"Do not worry. I've had it covered." Sectonia said. "(First step… Show that you're not afraid…)"

"All right...and his opponent! From the highest reaches of Popstar, from a kingdom high above the clouds, she once ruled as a giant insect queen. Now she roams as a powerful warrior queen. She is the Royal Punisher Queen! So welcome...Sectonia!" Cra Ne said as the audience cheered.

"It certainly has been quite a while, hasn't it?" Sectonia asked. "This time, though, there's no one to cover for me. I hope that proves satisfactory."

Ridley simply roared as he cracked his tail.

"And the stage of battle...is Norfair!" Cra Ne said as the two appeared over a vast sea of magma.

"Hoo… It's getting pretty hot in here. But this is nothing I can't handle." Sectonia said as she drew her blades.

"Looks like both fighters are ready to go. So, let's not keep them waiting." Cra Ne said. "You may...begin!"

(Cue- Decisive- Tales of Phantasia)

"Lightning Needles!" Sectonia said as she fired electric needles from her sword.

Ridley roared before breathing multiple fireballs at her attack, cancelling each other out.

"Not bad. Maybe you're familiar with this one, though…" Sectonia said. "O righteous will, let fall thy sword of lightning upon those who bear fault... Thunder Blade!" she chanted as a sword of lightning fell on Ridley.

Ridley growled before charging himself up and propelled towards Sectonia with a roar.

Sectonia got on the defensive and put up a shield of lightning. She was then grabbed as Ridley pushed her against the walls and started dragging, causing the shield to crack before breaking.

"Whew… At least I mitigated the damage of that." Sectonia said before she felt the lava start to erupt and saw a sort of dome on one of the platforms. "Quick, in there!" She tells herself as she dashes for the dome.

She was able to make her way in just in time as the lava blasted everywhere, Ridley receiving some damage.

"Phew… That was close." Sectonia said as she dusted herself off before she drew her weapons again as Ridley's tail came right at her as she quickly guarded. "Not this time. O divine spear, run my enemy through… Holy Lance!" she casted as spears of light start to fall.

Ridley avoided as many spears as he could, only getting hit by some at a time as they exploded. It was then that Ridley decided he had enough. He roared and slammed into Sectonia with all his might, sending her flying until she hit the hull of the Hunter IV. Ridley then targeted both ship and Sectonia, and fired a huge laser from his mouth at both.

"Not this time!" Sectonia said as she entered Lavender God: Burst Mode as she got on the defensive.

The laser hit its mark, but Sectonia was able to block the laser fully, resulting in little to no damage to the ship and Sectonia okay. Though, she did revert as a result.

"Whew… That was some quick thinking on my part." Sectonia said.

Ridley roared as he flew right at her.

"It's time to end this before he actually kills me." Sectonia said. She summons an astral projection to hold him back as she begins chanting. "I, who was once a part of the abyss… Reach out to thee mired in despair…"

"Hmm… Never seen Sectonia do an incantation like that before." David said.

"If she's changing up her chant, then that must mean her incoming attack will be even stronger than usual." Frosta said.

"Come on, my queen! You can do it!" Taranza cheered.

"Whoa… She's starting to gather a lot of energy…" Dedede pointed out.

"I draw my power from the heavens and the earth… To smite those that lurk in the everlasting darkness…" Sectonia continued.

"Wha… This… This high energy reading…!" Ristarte said. "Could she… Could she really be using…?!"

"H-how?! Only those with high magical aptitudes can use that kind of spell!" G. Aqua exclaimed.

"It can't be… Then she's really using…!" Seiya started.

"I, who stands under heaven's radiant light… Calls out to he who mans the gates of hell… Come forth, divine lightning!" Sectonia said as her projection against Ridley faded as large amounts of energy started to gather above Ridley.

"This is gonna be a big one!" Adora said.

"This shall end it! Indignation!" Sectonia called as a massive lightning bolt crashed down on Ridley.

Upon the bolt's hit, Ridley was shocked out of his skin, getting hit with massive amounts of voltage as he let out a screech of immense pain before falling right into the lava below.

"And that has put an end to the match! Our winner is...Sectonia!" Cra Ne said as the audience cheered.

"Nice one, Sectonia! You rocked!" David said.

"Hehe~ Well, it was nothing really. I'm just glad that my quick thinking helped against him." Sectonia said. "Speaking of which, do you think he's going to be okay?"

"I wouldn't worry too much about him." Leopardmon said.

"Yeah...look." Jexi said as the lava was soon cleared but showed a large tunnel dug underneath it all.

"Whoa… Deep hole." Sectonia said.

"Well he is called the Cunning God of Death. Of course he cheats it too." Ivy said.

"But I guess that's kind of his own way of showing respect to you, right?" Mayumi said.

"Well, I-I guess." Sectonia said. "But still, that was the first time I had to use the full incantation. Kind of suited for someone like him."

"Yeah...hopefully he doesn't try and seek revenge." Dan said.

"He will. Take it from someone who has faced him multiple times." Samus said.

"Still, though… To think that she is capable of such a powerful spell…" Ristarte said.

"It's actually been part of her arsenal for a while actually." Hope said.

"Huh?!" G. Aqua asked.

"Yeah, it's one of her go to moves. Indignation was one of Sectonia's mystic artes since day one." Zephyr said.

"That was amazing work, my lady. I wouldn't have expected any less from you." Taranza said.

"Aw, thanks Taranza. That really means a lot." Sectonia said.

"But we need to be ready. He isn't the only bad guy in this battle fest. Not that that's a bad thing of course. Just makes things all the more interesting." Jexi said.
