As Hikigaya Hachiman leaned forward to fall, time seemed to slow down…

"Is this… really it?"

Hikigaya realized something as he was falling.

"I'm falling backwards?!"

Hikigaya fell onto something, then rolled onto the concrete of the school roof.

He looked down and saw a pair of arms wrapped around him. They belonged to Yukinoshita, who was sobbing while panting for air. The pain in his chest grew to unbearable levels as he blushed. Before he passed out, he heard one more thing.

"I got you Hikigaya-kun and I will never leave you… I-I like you…"

Hikigaya Hachiman woke in the hospital a day later. He saw someone sitting next to him, it was Hiratsuka-Sensei. As soon as she saw him wake up, she smiled and gave him a hug.

"Hikigaya…"

It was at this moment that Hachiman broke down. He didn't care if there was someone watching, he had to let it out.

"Hiratsuka-Sensei… I'm so sorry…" He said between sobs.

She stopped hugging him, took his shoulders, and looked him right in the eyes. She saw the young kid that she took care of all those years ago, but there was a sadness in his eyes that wasn't there before.

"Please… don't keep your feelings to yourself… and please, never try to harm yourself again." She said with tears in her eyes.

Hachiman just sat in silence, he decided that he should tell Hiratsuka-Sensei everything. So he did, he told her everything going into more detail than what he put in the note. He wasn't one to share his feelings but he couldn't stop himself from sharing every single problem that he was having. Hiratsuka-Sensei just stared at him and tried to comfort him as much as she could. He was broken and he needed help, but as long as he was supported, she hoped that he would be alright.

Once he finished they hugged for a while before Hiratsuka-Sensei had to go back to the school.

Before she left, she made a closing remark.

"Hachiman… people care about you… you might not notice it but they would be torn up if anything bad happened to you… just, something to think on…: She said, with a smile, before exiting the room.

Hikigaya Hachiman spent the rest of the day in the hospital, recovering. Apparently he had overstressed his heart and caused some internal damage. Although it was blurry to him, he tried to remember everything that happened.

His eyes widened when he remembered the last thing he heard.

"I got you Hikigaya-kun and I will never leave you… I-I like you…"

He had feelings for Yukinoshita, he had tried to tell her them at one point. She rejected them saying that they should just be friends.

"Heh… girls sure are complicated." He said to himself, with a smile.

His thoughts were interrupted by a nurse entering his room. She just stood by the door not saying anything.

"Uhh, is there a purpose for your visit?" Asked a confused Hachiman.

"You are a saved suicide victim, we are required to supervise you to make sure you stay safe."

Hikigaya found this semi-annoying but he could understand why they had to do it. He was about to go to bed anyways so there would be nothing to supervise.

"Uh sir, you are going to need to keep your hands above the blanket, where I can see them."

Hikigaya glanced at her angrily, "Why?"

"I just have to watch your hands sir, it's my job to make sure you don't attempt to hurt yourself again."

Hikigaya followed her rules and went to sleep, or at least tried to.

"Looks like I won't get much sleep tonight…"

In the morning, Hikigaya was discharged from the hospital. He dropped by the pharmacy, to pick up his medications. He sighed when he saw the antidepressants.

"Guess I really am depressed…"

As he was walking to his house, he saw Yui and Yukino walking together towards the hospital, his eyes widened.

"Oh no… I don't really want to see them right now…"

He quickly exited the opposite direction and tried to speed walk to his house. He thought he was safe when he had turned the corner, but he heard a voice signaling that he had been caught.

"Hikki!"

Soon after Yui and Yukino ran around the corner and saw him. Hikigaya knew when he was beaten, he also couldn't run because of the chest pain that comes with it.

"Hikki… why were you speeding away?" Asked Yui, who was still catching her breath.

"Oh I didn't see you guys." He said, "I just wanted to get home before it got too dark."

Yukino's eyes narrowed. "I thought I saw you looking right at us, Hikigaya-kun."

Hikigaya quickly tried to change the subject. "So, what are you guys doing out this late."

"We wanted to eat dinner with you, Hikki!"

"Ah ok, so where do you guys want to go?"

"I already made dinner, let's head over to your house to eat it." Said Yukino, holding up a plastic bag that Hikigaya hadn't noticed before.

Hikigaya saw what they were planning, they wanted to find out where he lives so they could visit him often. He couldn't think of a way to stop this from happening without looking suspicious.

"We could eat at the park." He suggested as a last ditch effort to stop this.

Yukino stared at him. "Hikigaya-kun, you of all people know that within 10 minutes it will be too dark to see, we are going to eat at your house."

Hikigaya could see that there was no changing their minds so with a sigh he agreed.

After a silent walk, they arrived at his house. He unlocked the door but before he opened it, his eyes widened when he remembered what he had done to it.

He turned them,shaking and spoke. "Umm, please give me a minute to freshen up."

Yukino pushed past him and opened the door.

"H-Hey!"

Her eyes widened when she saw the state that the house was in. She turned to Hikigaya who was looking down, clearly embarrassed.

"His problems were worse than we thought…"

It took a bit longer to write this one, because it had to be edited multiple times, but I think that it ended up alright. This is the chapter that starts putting the Romance part in this Romantic Drama (or as I like to call it RomDram). If I made any mistakes let me know, and thanks for the reviews.
