"Now is time for the next match of the day." Cra Ne said as the lights shined down. "From a tribe of hidden warriors deep within Hyrule, this ninja-like fighter is ready to deal quick defeats here in the ring. They are the Illusive Sheikah! Sheik!" he said as Sheik suddenly appeared in the ring.
The audience were cheering loudly as a few Sheikah warriors and even a few from the Yiga Clan were watching in silence.
"So the fighter this time is a ninja. That sounds pretty cool." Frosta said.
"Sheik is very tricky with all sorts of moves. Wonder who will be facing them." Mayumi said.
"And...this lucky Sheikah's opponent!" Cra Ne said. "A lone solitary warrior straight from Mythos Hearts. A walking shadow who strikes his enemies when they least expect it, stealing away their final breaths! He is the Lone Spy! Souei!" he said as Souei also appeared in the arena.
"Good luck, Master Souei…" Soka said.
"Uh… don't you think you should cheer a little louder for him?" Ethox asked.
"And their location will be...the Spirit Train!" Cra Ne said as they appeared on a moving train. "Let the battle...begin!"
Sheik pulled out a Deku Nut as she disappeared in a puff of smoke before reappearing above Souei and dive kicking towards him. As soon as Sheik made contact, they just fell right through him.
"You should learn to watch your opponents." Souei said as he struck at Sheik from behind as Sheik blocked and jumped back.
"He faked her out with a body double." Theo said.
"Impressive Substitution technique." Phantom said.
Souei was quick to go on the attack as he managed to surprise the young Sheikah before she jumped up and tossed needles at him, all of which he quickly blocked.
Sheik then threw out her tripwire as there was something attached to the end. Pulling a pin out, it was revealed to be a grenade as it got close enough to Souei as it exploded in his face.
"Whoa!" Kazuma exclaimed in shock.
"Since when do Sheikah assassins carry grenades with them?" Vashyron asked.
"Since the previous Smash tournament." Roy answered. "I remember her just using her tripwire during the second tournament and when I came back for the fourth one, she started using grenades with it."
"I thought Hyrule wasn't advanced enough to have grenades." David said.
"Technology varies in Hyrule from era to era. Remember, we've seen in the Wild Era that it was built over really advanced technology they were trying to study and learn to use themselves." Entrapta said. "I think this Version of Sheik comes from a Hyrule era where explosives were advanced to the point where she has those grenades."
Sheik then got far away from Souei as she soon prepared her knife as she quickly raced across the train, attacking the Kijin several times over before finishing it with a final strike. But to her surprise, the one she had been striking had just faded.
"Another body double?" Michiru asked.
Sheik looked around in surprise before feeling a tugging on her arms as she saw her body was covered from head to toe in thread.
"You are indeed a formidable opponent. Which is why I had to take these measures." Souei said as he started to rise from the shadows of the train as he pulled the thread, trapping Sheik within it, effectively ending the match.
"Whoa...and that's it folks. The battle of ninja has been won and the winner is...Souei!" Cra Ne said as Souei released Sheik as he returned to the stands.
"Very impressive match you two, it was quite exhilarating." Ren said.
"So you were able to gain the tides of this battle?" Benimaru asked.
"Quite easily." Souei said.
"Wow...so confident." Subaru said.
"Yeah, Souei's a total badass." Kazuma added.
"I can't wait to see the next match." Ginseng said.
"Yeah...though…." Jexi said seeing some storm clouds gathering in the sky. "That does not look like a good sign."
"Th-that wasn't me, I swear!" Sectonia said.
"Calm down. We're not accusing you." Theo said.
"But...somehow...I get this weird feeling about who it actually is." Jexi said.
