"H-Hikki… are you okay?" Asked a concerned Yui, she rushed over and grabbed his hand.

Hikigaya didn't respond, his eyes remained fixated on a certain spot in the middle of the road. His breathing started to get heavier and his vision started to blur. He had a massive pain in his chest, but he wasn't paying any attention to it.

"Hikigaya-kun!" Shouted a voice next to him, causing him to snap out of his daze. He looked at his friends, both had worried looks on their faces.

"What-" As soon as he said that, a wave of pain hit him all at once. He collapsed, screaming and gasping for air.

Both of the girls reacted almost immediately, frantically looking for ways to help their friend. While Yui tried to calm him down, Yuikino looked in his bag that he had brought. In it, she found his medications. She found the correct one and put it in his mouth.

The medication seemed to take effect almost immediately. His breathing slowed down and he had stopped spasming. Yukino didn't want to take any chances.

"I-I'm calling an ambulance."

"Y-Yukino don't… it's alright, I'm better now…" He said in between breaths of air. He was still laying on the ground and he did not look okay.

"C-Come on, let's go enjoy a nice dinner." He stuttered. He got up and brushed himself off clearly still in pain.

Yukino was skeptical, but against her better judgement, allowed them to continue to the restaurant.

The rest of the walk was relatively quiet. Once they got to the restaurant they made their orders and sat down at their table. After an awkward silence, Yui spoke up.

"We are really excited that you are coming back to school tomorrow, Hikki!"

"I'm excited to go back-"

"Are you absolutely sure that you are well enough to go back to school, Hikigaya-kun?" Asked a worried looking Yukinoshita.

"I'm fine… I am ready and able to go back to school."

"Yukino, we should trust Hikki, if he says he is ready then he is probably right."

Yukino stared at the boy, remembering what happened last time that they had trusted him when he said he was fine. Just as she opened her mouth to say something, their food arrived and they started eating.

Once everyone was finished they exited the restaurant and stood at the side of the street.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow, Hikki." Said Yui as she waved at him. She ran up to Yukino and gave her a spine crushing hug, "Bye, Yukinon!"

"G-Goodbye, Yuigahama… please let go of me." Said Yukino, gasping for air.

Once Yui left it was just Yukino and Hikigaya.

"Well… I'll be seeing you, Yukinoshita."

Yukino opened her mouth like she had something to say, but in the end just muttered, "Yeah, see you…"

As Hikigaya was walking away, he heard a voice from behind him, "Actually, Hikigaya-kun, would you mind if I walked you home? There is something that I wanted to talk to you about."

Hikigaya turned around and looked at Yukino, she was looking down and blushing.

"Sure…"

After walking in silence for a while, Hikigaya spoke.

"So, what did you want to talk about?"

"Hikigaya-kun… I want you to open up to me."

Hikigaya's eyes widened, this statement had taken him by surprise.

"W-What do you mean by that, Yukinoshita?"

"Well… I want to be a friend that you feel comfortable confiding in…"

Hikigaya looked at her, she was clearly having trouble saying what she was feeling. He smiled, he found her cute this way.

"You know, I see you as more than a friend, Yukinoshita."

Upon hearing this, Yukinoshita got flustered and tried to hide her face.

"W-What do you mean by that?"

"Well… we've been through a lot… and you have always been kind to me, in your own way."

Yukino was still trying to hide the fact that she was blushing.

"My point is, you SHOULD be someone that I can open up to… so I will."

Yukinoshita immediately perked up when she heard this, "R-Really?!"

Hikigaya smiled, "Of course."

They had just arrived at Hikigaya's house and the sun was starting to set.

"I don't you walking home in the dark, so how about we meet somewhere this weekend?"

Yukino beamed, "That sounds really good."

"Thank you for being a good friend to me, Yukinoshita." Said Hikigaya with a smile.

"No problem, Hikigaya-kun."

Hikigaya went inside his house and closed the door. As soon as he closed the door, Yukino fist pumped the air.

"Yes, I get to go somewhere with Hikigaya this weekend!"

Little did she know that inside his house... Hikigaya was doing the exact same thing.
