"All right. After that huge battle...we are moving on to fight number 2!" Chi Ta said as the lights shined down. "Hailing from a faraway world, this lone swordsman travels his world in order to stamp out injustice and protect the girl he has feelings for. He is a SOLDIER 1st Class! Welcome...Cloud...Strife!" Chi Ta said as Cloud slowly walked into the arena.

"The Aether around him is impressive." Y'shtola said. "Would any of you mind if I took this one?"

"You sure? He's a pretty powerful swordsman." Jexi said.

"I believe it would be a good chance to see what she is capable of." Alphamon said.

"I shall not disappoint then, as a Scion of the Seventh Dawn." Y'shtola said before teleporting down to the arena.

"And his opponent! A new addition to Spirit Force! She is a warrior of mystery who seeks only to protect Spade Neptune. She is the Seventh Scion of Dawn! Y'shtola...Rhul!" Chi Ta said as the audience cheered.

"It's an honor to meet you, Cloud Strife." Y'shtola said as she materialized Truth Seeker in hand.

"Same." Cloud said, drawing his buster sword.

"And their location is...Midgar!" Chi Ta said as the two appeared in a mechanical city. "You may...begin!"

"Holy!" Y'shtola called as she briefly drew Cloud in before unleashing an explosion of holy light around herself.

Cloud then cut through the pillar as he slashed at Y'shtola with his sword before knocking her back.

"Ruin!" Y'shtola called as she recovered and unleashed a shower of magic bolts in midair. "Lance of Life!" she added, following up by firing a lance of light straight at the 1st Class SOLDIER as it pierced through his defense.

Cloud recovered as he spotted an orb as he slashed through it as energy formed behind their arena as a large dragon appeared.

"Bahamut!?" Hope said.

"Didn't you know? This stage occasionally sends out Materia that contains summons for the fighters to call upon." Mayumi said.

"The Dreadwyrm, even in this world its power is still immense." Y'shtola said as Bahamut ZERO flew away and a beam raining down was seen approaching from the distance. "Aetherial Pulse!" she said, spreading her arms as a spherical barrier formed around her just as Teraflare found its mark.

"Not bad." Cloud said. "You're pretty skilled with magic."

"I'm flattered, your strength is nothing to underestimate either." Y'shtola said.

"Right. But you might have a limit. But you know something?" Cloud asked, suddenly glowing blue. "Limits are meant to be broken."

"(The Aether around him just skyrocketed. So he's unleashing his full power.)" Y'shtola thought as she braced herself.

"Here I come!" Cloud said, unleashing a blade beam more powerful than before.

"Impressive. Blizzara!" Y'shtola called, conjuring pillars of ice in front of her as they blocked the attack. "Aerora!" she added, setting a wind magic trap as it sucked Cloud in and dealt multiple hits.

However, Cloud was able to break free and struck at Y'shtola twice, stunning her temporarily. He then built up his limit energy as it reached its peak, before unleashing his most powerful attack, the Omnislash.

"Breaking my limits!" Cloud said, straightening his sword in front of him before dealing multiple hits. "This is it." he said, unleashing a powerful overhead slash on the final blow that hit multiple times.

"Incredible strength, but I will not give up so easily." Y'shtola said, casting Curaga on herself. "Now I shall show you my own. Unyielding earth. Nourishing water. Ride ye the wind. Aether, to me! Spiritual Ray!" she called, first invoking the elements of earth, then water, and finally wind as it all culminated into a massive burst of multi-aspected aether, sending Cloud out of bounds.

"And with that, Cloud has been soundly defeated. Meaning the winner here is...Y'shtola!" Chi Ta said as the crowd cheered with Y'shtola returning to the stands.

"It was quite an interesting bout." Y'shtola said.

"I'll say. You gave Cloud a run for his money. Well done." Rainbow said.

"Thank you." Y'shtola said.

"Yeah...I think you're going to fit in just fine." Dan said.

"You humble me. Being with you all reminds me of my fellow Scions." Y'shtola smiled.

"Hopefully we'll see them again soon. But for now...the fighting continues." Jexi said.
