Hanabi was in complete and utter shock at Kleene's condition. The younger Rutherford sibling was able to withstand her Requiem attack, and now stood in her Overdrive form. Kleene's performance was exceeding Hanabi's parameters. "I can't believe this…you should be down…!"

"Not yet…" Kleene said while panting heavily. She was able to avoid critical damage, but her body still stung since she get hit with actual bullets in a few places. Nowhere lethal, but medical treatment would be needed. For now, Kleene was focused on the task at hand – defeating her opponent. "I'm not finished yet! The Winds of Eden's still intends to howl!"

Hanabi grit her teeth and pointed her pistols forward. She wasn't finished yet either. "Alright then, show me how determined you really are! I'm not going to let you beat me that easily! Overdrive or not!" She said before shooting her pistols, using her duplication to multiply the bullets just as she did before. "Requiem!" It was the same trick as before. Bullets laced with wind ether rocketed forward to tear through any and all defenses Kleene may have set up.

"That won't work on me a second time!" Kleene exclaimed while swinging her hand forward. This prompted a wall of wind to appear in front of her. The color of the wind turned red, signifying that its power increased from stage two. The bullets struck against the wall of wind, but they were unable to break through unlike before. They were simply stalled against the wind, before they were ultimately absorbed into it.

"No way…" Hanabi gasped at the futility of her attack. "Can everyone on the Eden's Zero truly use this power?" She didn't exactly have time to think about her own abilities, because Kleene was on the offensive.

"Havoc Gale!" Kleene crossed her arms in an X formation, creating a twister around Hanabi that kept her trapped within an unforgiving cyclone.

"Can't move…!" Hanabi was trying to shield her eyes from the wind, feeling her hair whip about as she struggled to hold her ground. Even though she was unable to move her body, she could still use her Duplication. Numerous clones appeared all around Kleene in a heartbeat. "Heart Breaker!"

"…!" Kleene noticed the clones too late. They appeared out of thin air and started to bombard her with a flurry of physical attacks. Kleene was outnumbered, yet she was doing her best to fend off all of the clones. They were ganging up on her so quickly, making it difficult to use her Ether Gear. So she took a number of hits as a result, but she was able to knock a few of the clones back. That's when a gunshot rang out. An ether bullet hit the back of Kleene's head.

"Gotcha." A clone of Hanabi said, distanced a little farther away because it waited for the perfect shot.

Kleene felt her eyes roll back into her head, but she bit her tongue, using that pain to keep herself conscious. That sneak attack almost got the best of her, but she didn't allow it. Instead, she formed a helix of wind within her palm, and used the impressive wind power to suck in Hanabi's duplicates. "Wind Cage!"

"I'll just make more and overwhelm you!" Hanabi shouted, now free from the tornado she was trapped in.

"Go ahead and try." Kleene said, the Wind Cage still active. Hanabi did attempt to summon duplicates…however, whenever they appeared, they were drawn into the Wind Cage.

"W-What!?" Hanabi gasped. "My duplicates…!?"

"I was wondering if I could pull this off earlier…but you proved that you could escape my Wind Cage." Kleene said with a slight grin. "But now that my wind has evolved in my Overdrive, it doesn't seem like those bullets of yours can break through. Isn't that right? Otherwise, it would've happened by now."

"…." Hanabi didn't have any words. Was Kleene giving her the runaround just to trap her in the very end? "You…you're all monsters…!" If Kleene was this strong, then it truly made sense that Homura held back on Waltz.

"Right now, your numbers don't mean anything. It looks like I was your worst matchup." Kleene said while drawing her hands back, gathering an exceptionally large amount of wind ether within the space between her palms. "And just remember…you all wanted this fight! Variable Cyclone!" A gigantic funnel of wind shot from Kleene's hands, bringing ruin to the corridor as it barreled towards her. Hanabi had no defense as this cyclone completely shredded through her body, pushing her through a wall.

"KYAAAAAAAH!" Hanabi cried out as she was consumed by the cyclone. When her body broke through a wall of her own ship, she lost consciousness. There lie Hanabi Watson, defeated by Kleene Rutherford of the Eden's Zero.

Kleene let out a heavy breath, her body exiting Overdrive, and she slumped against a nearby wall to keep herself standing. That was a tougher battle than she expected, but ultimately she was able to come out on top. "That was…exhausting." She panted, and then just sat on the ground. "I'm just going to…sit here for a little while…"

Sister confronted the intruder, Weavel, in the corridor of the Eden's Zero that led to the Engine Room. Whatever the intruder's intentions were, Sister wasn't going to let him run around the ship so easily. Just the fact that he tried was an affront to her pride as the Demon King's Four Shining Stars. Weavel's body was concealed by his cloak, but the glow of ether gear was visible on his face. In the next instant he moved as swift as a shadow, approaching Sister with malicious intent. Within his hands, several needles appeared and he threw them towards Sister. "Needle Rush!"

"Hah!" Sister snorted at the needles, swinging her whip around with precision to knock them out of the air before they could reach her. She then aimed her whip at Weavel, but he was slippery and evaded it with ease while still approaching her. "Aren't you quick?"

Weveal didn't respond, instead jumping on the wall, then leaping toward Sister while swinging his leg towards her in a roundhouse motion. Sister was able to block the hit, which made Weavel jump back. He prepared more needles and threw them at Sister, but she simply knocked them down just like before, scattering them around her. "Explode." Weavel said while snapping his fingers.

"Huh?" Sister looked down as the needles around her started to light up. In the next instant they exploded rather violently around her, creating a thick cloud of smoke. When that smoke cleared, Sister was seen with some damage from the unexpected attack. "You know, I don't really like surprises unless I'm the one giving them."

"My Ether Gear is called Needlepoint." Weavel explained. "It allows me to create needles and control them."

"Sounds like you're really good at acupuncture." Sister joked.

"Exactly." Weavel replied to her joke, but he wasn't kidding around. "I can create needles of any size, ranging from small…or incredibly large." As he said this, he held his hand out in front of him. A yellow needle started to take shape, roughly as big as Sister's own body. He then punched the air, sending this gigantic needle towards Sister to run her through.

"Oh." Sister stopped joking around and realized the gravity of the situation. Something that huge piercing her insides wouldn't be the greatest feeling, so she decided to run forward and jump into the air. She avoided the needle and it destroyed a few walls…damage that could be fixed later. More importantly, she was aiming her boot on Weavel's head. "Hellhole!"

"…!" Weavel jumped backwards, avoiding Sister's initial stop. But he didn't expect the shockwave that followed. It struck, causing him to tumble along the ground before coming to a halt. His hood came off and revealed his face; a young man with spiky red hair and yellow eyes. The ether lines across his face ran from his nose to his lower left jaw.

"I'm not finished with you yet!" Sister said while swinging her whip at Weavel. Unfortunately for her, the slippery young man was elusive. Every time she swung her whip, he dodged and slipped closer and closer.

"A weapon like that won't hit me." Weavel said calmly, closing the gap between himself and Sister within a few seconds. Needles appeared along his arm, and he aimed a wide haymaker towards the android with all his might. "Needle Arm!" Sister raised her arm to block the hit. Weavel's momentum did made her slide back, but the impact also left some of his needles embedded within her arm. "Explode."

"Oh motherfu-" The needles in Sister's body exploded, damaging her arm and her body. She was getting really tired of this, and they only just started. "Okay, it's time to…!" Sister tried to move her body, but for some reason she couldn't. "What the!?"

"I said I was good at acupuncture." Weavel explained. "That means I know where to strike to immobilize the joints of humans and androids. "Pin Missile!" Weavel was keeping his offensive pressure up, releasing an unrelenting wave of needles towards Sister as she complained about his powers. Sister was getting very, very annoyed already. Unfortunately for Sister, she was unable to muster any defense as she was pelted by needles, which all then exploded on her. "Hmph. That attack has never failed to destroy an opponent. You were a worthy adversary, android."

There was lingering silence as the smoke cleared, and Sister…soon emerged unharmed. "Were? I haven't even gotten started yet, kid."

Weavel's eyes widened. "What…? How…"

"I can only imagine how little research your crew did into ours before you picked this fight. I can only imagine what you did to Homura to try and get her to talk, too." Sister said with a sadistic smile. "Your powers would be a pain in the ass to a few of us, that's for sure. But unfortunately for you, you picked a fight with the Life of Edens. Do you know what that means? It means I can heal anything. I could kill you if I wanted, and then bring you back like nothing happened. Over, and over, and over again. It's either I do that, or I have you clean the bathrooms here for the rest of your life with your tongue."

"I see." Weavel remained calm. "Fighting a healer is only difficult if one lacks the power to defeat them in a single blow. Can you heal yourself if I pry your head off your shoulders?"

"I wouldn't worry about me if I were you." Sister said while preparing to swung her whip. "Paradise Requiem!"

Sister swung her whip towards Weavel, and just like before, he was able to dodge it with ease. "I told you…a weapon like that isn't going to-" What happened next was a motion that he didn't expect. When he turned to look at Sister, he was met with both of her feet as she quite literally drop kicked him in midair. Considering how physically powerful Sister was, this action hurt a lot and Weavel hit a wall so hard, it made a dent. "Guh….!" What a brazen action! For a nurse, this android acted anything but!

"And how did that one feel?" Sister said with a grin. "Was it too hard? Did I break you already?"

Weavel pried himself from the dent in the wall and landed on the floor with a bit of a shaky stance. "It will take more than…" Before he could finish, there was a sharp pain in his groin. Sister was enjoying herself a little too much, as she kicked the young man between the legs with all her might. "NNN…." Weavel's body froze from the impact, rendering him completely immobile.

"I know how to stop people from moving too." She then pulled that same leg back, only to kick Weavel in the face and sent him directly into a wall. "Get up, I'm not done yet."

"Ngh…." Weavel's body slowly recovered from that state of shock. "A dirty blow…" He grumbled, staggering from that hit. This woman…shaking his head, he prepared a number of needles within his hands.

"Those aren't gonna work." Sister said.

"They aren't for you." Weavel replied before stabbing his body in several places with his own needles. "Under the right circumstances in pressure, you can completely shut off one's ether flow…or you can increase it beyond its normal limits!" The pressure points he struck with his needles boosted his normal strength. It was no Overdrive, but it was still a sizeable change in power. As soon as he did this, he sprinted towards Sister with increased speed and threw a kick at her. She blocked it, but she nearly flew backwards from the hit.

"Well, isn't that nice…" Sister said with a grin. This wasn't as boring as she thought it was going to be. "I like it when they have a little fight."

On the bridge of the Fiertia, Laguna and Jinn were facing off against Waltz and Tobias. Tobias and Waltz made use of earth and fire ether respectively, while Laguna and Jinn used water and wind. It was a clash of the four elements1 Waltz's blazing sword ignited and he swung it upwards, creating a pillar of flame that scorched the ground as it travelled towards the two Eden's Zero members. "Infernal Torrent!"

Laguna knew to take Waltz as a threat, since he was the one that defeated Rebecc and Homura at once. Thanks to Rebecca and Happy, he knew what to expect from the android and answered accordingly. "Water Laser!" Laguna pointed his hand forward, commanding a beam of water to shoot from his palm. The elements of fire and water collided in an age of clash, neither of them being the winner as their meeting resulted in a thick cloud of steam.

Jinn used this to his advantage, leaping into the steam while preforming a few hand signs. "Skymech Ninjutsu Attack: Windstorm Slash!" Emerging from the steam, Jinn released an X shaped blast of wind towards Tobias and Waltz to cut through them.

"Stone Wall!" Tobias stomped on the ground in front of him, creating a wall of stone in front of him. The Windstorm Slash did strike this wall and completely shattered it, leaving large pieces of rock and debris on the floor; however the two members of the Fiertia were unharmed.

"No way…" Jinn furrowed his brows. No damage at all?

Tobias continued his offensive, taking command of the rocks that were on the ground. His ether gear covered an area from his left shoulder to his left arm. "So we have a clash of the elements do we? My Ether Gear: Rock Rage, allows me to control the earth! Behold! Stone Edge!" The bits of rock were sharpened to a fine point, before all of them were launched towards Jinn and Laguna.

"I don't think so!" Jinn said while creating blades of wind within his hands. He used this blades to slash through the rocks. The moment he landed, however, Waltz was already on top of him with his sword raised high, already coming down. "…!"

Laguna saved Jinn, swinging a sword of water to clash with Waltz's own sword. It was the least he could do since Jinn just saved his makeup. It was an unlikely duo, but somehow water and wind worked out. "Come on."

"On it." Jinn pointed his fist forward. "Wind God Punch!" His left arm detached from his body, rocketing towards Waltz at point blank range. Before the enemy android had the chance to react, Jinn's rocket fist punched him in the face.

"Ugh!?" Waltz grunted, staggering backwards from the impact. The gaudy android adjusted the large purple crown on his head, before scowling at his enemies. "So you think you're cute, do you?"

"Absolutely." Laguna said while gesturing to his eyeliner. "Do you think I work on this not to look good?"

"I don't think that's what he meant." Jinn said as his rocket arm attached to his body again.

"Seems like you two aren't so shabby." Tobias said while adjusting his scarf. "I think we'll get a little enjoyment out of this after all. What do you think, Waltz?" Tobias glanced over to his android.

"I'll destroy whoever and whatever I need to! I must become the strongest, no matter what it takes." Waltz said as his blazing sword burned ever brighter. "That way he can finally accept me for who I am! I won't let you two get in the way of my ambition!"

Shiki was flying through the corridor of the Fiertia. Up ahead, he spotted the one thing he was looking for. The large doors that read 'captain's quarters'. His eyes narrowed and he wasted no time and drew his fist back, gravity surrounding it. The moment he got close, he swung with all his might. "Hah!" He punched the door open, sending the door into the wall as he burst into the room. Just as he thought…he saw Homura, still injured, and Jigan King sitting on his chair. "There you are!" His gaze was focused on Jigan, glaring angrily towards the large man for his scheme of kidnapping Homura.

"Shiki!" Homura's expression lit up. While it had only been a few days since she last saw anyone from the Eden's Zero in person, she was so happy that they came for her. She knew they would, but seeing it only made her smile.

Jigan was sitting on his chair, a wide smirk appearing on his lips very slowly. This was the moment he was waiting for; the moment that would become a pivotal point in history. This was the beginning of the legend of Jigan King. "It's so nice to finally meet you, Demon King."
