"All right. We are now on match 9 and it is feeling fine! And we have a fine fighter coming up right now." Chi Ta said. "From the Kingdom of Altea, this lone Lord led his friends on a campaign to free his land from the shadow dragon with the Fire Emblem and Falchion! He is the Hero King! So…we welcome…Marth!" she said as Marth came walking in.
"You can do this!" Tiki called out.
"We're by your side!" Caeda said.
"Tiki and Caeda, glad to see they're doing well." Linde said. "But still, you can do this, Marth!"
"Lead the path for victory!" Minerva said.
"Yes. Do it." Navarre said.
"So, this is the famed Hero-King." Alphamon said. "He certainly lives up to his stature."
"It's thanks to the bonds he shared with his comrades that he was able to overcome so many hardships." Azura said.
"I see. In that case, I shall ascertain his power for myself." Alphamon said.
"And now…his opponent! This figure is regarded as leader of the Royal Knights! A versatile warrior and the Alpha of all the knights! Welcome…Alphamon!" Chi Ta said.
"Let me express how much of an honor it is to face you in battle, Prince Marth." Alphamon said with a bow.
"The honor is all mine." Marth said.
"And the battlefield this time is…Castle Siege!" Chi Ta said as the two appeared inside of a burning castle. "You may…begin!"
Alphamon makes the first move by closing in with his sword. However, his strike was quickly countered by Marth who used the chance to attack the Alpha with a sword strike to the chest.
"Oof… Not bad." Alphamon said as he tried to land a few punches on Marth.
"Same with you." Marth said, striking at Alphamon with his sword as he took the hits.
"Time to play one of my trump cards, then. Digitalize of Soul!" Alphamon said as a magic circle appeared in front of Alphamon where energy shots were fired out of it.
"Impressive." Marth said he as did his best to dodge each shot with a couple of them ending up grazing him as he found it harder to dodge.
"Let's see if I can put those boxing techniques to use." Alphamon said as he was closing in with an uppercut.
"What the? Since when can Alphamon box!?" Rainbow said.
"You do know he represented us in the Boxing event in Tokyo, right?" Crusadermon asked.
"There was a lot going on in those 2 and a half weeks." Rainbow said.
The stage was soon pulled in a transition to the inside of the castle. Alphamon was going with jabs and straights as Marth was blocking with his sword.
"You are as skilled as you claimed. I can see that your mantle of Hero-King is very well earned." Alphamon said.
"I'm just a prince, really." Marth said before pulling his sword back as power started to build up in it."Critical…Hit!" Marth said, landing a powerful sword strike on Alphamon.
Alphamon was sliding back on the stage, nearly reaching the edge. "That… That was some very immense strength. If it was any more powerful, that would've been it right then and there." he said as he slowly rose to his feet. "For that, Hero-King. I shall grant you the honor of facing my true blade." he said as a portal appeared with the Oryuken Sword coming out of it. "It's time to end this. Blade of the Dragon King!" he said as he was slashing rapidly with his Oryuken Sword.
"In…credible." Marth uttered as he was sent flying before collapsing right onto the ground.
"Amazing! Alphamon has defeated Marth using just his true sword. This makes him the winner!" Chi Ta said.
"You have fought well, Prince Marth. With your strength, Altea is surely in very good hands." Alphamon said.
"Much…appreciated." Marth said.
"Oh…poor Marth." Caede said sadly.
"He fought with all his might." Linde said.
"His strength managed to persevere till his defeat." Minerva added.
"Yes…hopefully he'll use this experience to get even stronger." Navarre said.
"Indeed." they all said.
