He.. really just asked that..
Your heart was somehow beating faster than before. Everything felt hot, and him radiating warmth didn't help much.
Your chest jumped and your tummy had butterflies fluttering in anxious unrest. It felt like pure energy, rushing from your stomach and chest. Heat rising from your core, creeping up your neck, and flushing your face in an embarrassingly visible blush. You had to pace your breaths. They were become erratic processing the position you're in right now.
You slowly turned your head back up to him, meeting his eyes.
His expression changed from closely studying your reaction to completely realizing what he just said. His eyes widened, and with his free hand he covered his face as his rays suddenly shot inwards.
It was his turn to look away in embarrassment.
"..I- I m-mean.. y-yes, yes it.. it works! M-moon c-confirmed that for you.. y-yes.. A-and, and if you want to inspect it in Parts and Service - th-that's okay too! W-we can tell you all about-"
Your hand on his face cuts off his stammering and interrupts his head from tirelessly jolting anywhere but towards you. Your mouth was parted a bit as that'd make breathing right now a little easier. Your face burned. His was at least twice as hot despite the whirring of fans fighting the sudden increase in temperature.
As he stilled, and with his hand slowly uncovering his eyes to look into yours, you caressed the edge of his faceplate a little under and to the left of his mouth. His rays slowly extended from where they had retreated, and you once more focused your attention to them as you both continued to lock eyes, you having only averting them for a second or two to drag your hand over the sensitive sunray.
Your stomach continued to jump. Your arm and everything else was weak but you didn't want to stop soothing him. You took in a calculated breath once more to speak.
"..I-I'd.. like to find out.. n-now.."
He fought so hard suppressing the urge to spin his sunrays while you played with one on the bottom right of his face. He only watched with wide eyes, overcome by this incredibly overwhelming and unfamiliar feeling enveloping him.
You leaned forward inch by inch closer to his neck, goosebumps trickling up your skin.
You looked up to him and your heart skipped another beat, anxious yet relaxed and still as you focused into his pretty blue eyes - tummy continuing to do such funny things.
You slid your thumb gently across the top of the ray as you arched upwards towards his lips, his hand resting gently in yours, having swiped aside the melted ice pack already.
"..S-Starli-"
Your lips slowly ran over his, cautiously testing the texture which was surprisingly soft and more than welcoming. Your core was on fire, and his right hand not holding yours found it's purpose other than expressing his nervousness. The goosebumps that made their way outwards in a shockwave from the touch of his fingertips against your sides provoked a shudder, and all you wanted to do was be closer to him.
So that's what you did, even at the protest of your wrist while you pushed yourself forward a bit, as close to him as comfortably possible, still gently stroking his rays as his free hand made it's way up your sides, pure electricity stemming from his touch.
Your lips encompassed his lower one, and the whine from his voicebox only encouraged you further. Radiating heat as your heartbeat sped, his hand finally made it's way to the side of your head, able to hold almost half of it while you dared to push further.
Your body released some of it's tension and finally relaxed, pure bliss as his warmth covered you closely. You wished you didn't have to breathe, but you pulled back to inhale, an embarrassing saliva string still linking you two together.
He looks down at you for a second, his needy expression followed by a short whine melted you as your insides liquefied. His fingertips sprawled into your hair to gently urge you forward before you're quickly leaning in by yourself, desiring more.
Your both came into contact once again, your heart daring you to push further. Your tongue made contact with his lips, and as you squeezed his ray a little tighter enticing another whine, you entered his mouth expecting it to be metallic and artificial. You should've known when Moon revealed their alluring tongue to you that wouldn't be the case.
He tasted oddly like.. orange juice, is the best way to describe it. You didn't really process it as your head was blank with overwhelming sensation, right now you just wanted more. His hand adjusting in your hair while his own tongue met your lips as you encouraged him further bringing you to a tipping point. You both were a mess, neither of you cared as you continued for just a little longer.
You wouldn't wanna stop even if it meant you passed out from refusing to breathe.
Your stomach was swirling, your head was light, and the feeling your heart spreading across the entirety of your chest was pure euphoria. Your tongues wrapped and lips begged as neither of you could get enough, falling into pleasure not caring if you ever returned.
You were serious about being willing to pass out not to lose a second of this. Unfortunately, Sun remembered your human limitations for you.
Pulling you away hesitantly, you finally took in a deep breath of the hot air surrounding you both. You tried to look at him but your vision was blurry for a few seconds. You couldn't tell if it was due to almost passing out, or from the intense emotion from you two of you falling into each-other. Likely both. He studied your eyes as your pupils shrank and adjusted to the lack of his fulfilling embrace.
You both wanted more. You were only half worried of how far this would go if you kept up, and he seemed to share the thought.
"..Star..light, you.. you need a new ice pack.." He rubbed his thumb across your head, ruffling hair in it's wake. Your lips were still parted, and your eyes begged him for more. The red blush painting your face even still was all too cute to him. He wanted to lean back in, and it almost broke him when he pulled away and shakily made his way up, towering over you as you watched him needily.
Your arm dropped from where you were holding his ray, lacking his touch now entirely formed a yearning bubble in your throat and sinking of your heart that could only be alleviated by him once more encompassing you whole.
You were still catching your breath, and you couldn't help it leading to your tummy jumping and evolving into a quiet giggle as a smile crept across your face. You leaned back and fell into the hospital bed, wrapping your free hand over your eyes in embarrassment.
Sunny made his way to your left, warmth still radiating off of him just as much as before. He adjusted your right hand to lay over your tummy, gently remembering your ribs. He rested the ice pack over your hand, making sure it was balanced and touched both your wrist and knuckles. If he held it there himself, he'd melt it just like the other one.
He made his way down to his knees, low enough to where he could be closer to you. Your cheeks refused to cool down, a tiny grin visible to him as you were still recovering from the moment. Your eyes were still covered, until Sun adjusted some pillows behind your head to prop you up. You observed his gentle smile and admiring eyes as he rubbed the side of your face, tracing up your burning cheeks, temple, and finally above your ear before repeating the motion. You tilted into his warm touch, and the sensations from earlier still haven't fully resided.
You were tired. You wanted him to wrap you in his arms again and transport you to his room where you could embrace him like you did the night before.
..But you really needed to get home, as much as the thought of being without him broke your heart. Mimi was surely worried. You'll make sure to give her lots of loving when you finally returned.
You reached up with your left hand to meet Sun's, enclosing your fingers in-between his own, your smile dropped.
"..I.. As much as I wanna stay.. with you, Sunshine.. I gotta get home to Mimi. I'm sorry, sweetheart.."
Your hand left his hesitantly, and you sat up with his help, pressing against your back which shouldn't have felt that nice and comforting.
Sun's chest felt funny at the mention of him being sweet once more. "..O-of course, that's.. that's okay, Starlight.. You'll.. be back at eight, right?" He pouted.
It felt like your heart was going to snap in two. You really wanted to stay. Sitting on the edge of the bed, him in front of you in an all too familiar positon, you gave into the heartache and kissed him once more. He whined as you pulled away a few seconds later, neither of you satisfied with how short it was. You both knew it'd only make it more difficult if it snowballed again.
"..Promise, Sunshine. I'll be back.. gosh, how could I not?" You smiled smugly as you hopped up from the bed with a wince, you were a bit too sprightly after the events that happened. You still had a broken bone or two.
"..W-wanna walk me out?" His face was glowing and he recovered from your last string of words, taking the ice pack out of your hand.
"-Oh! Y-yes, yes yes! O-of course!" He sprung back up and deposited the ice pack back in the freezer, retrieving your bag on the way back to you.
You took his hand with your left as he carried your bag for you - your right hand not up for the task.
You both made your way out the door and to the left.
"Oh, I'll be sure to text you also! As soon as I get home I'll let you know, okay?"
He smiled brightly and brought his hand up along with your bag expressively to convey his excitement. "R-really? Oh, yes we-we'd like that very much, Starbite!" His other hand swung yours gently as you giggled.
"Really really." you smiled contently as he pressed the button for the elevator.
You leaned against him in the elevator, dipping your head into his side comfortably as he wrapped his arm around you. The warm embrace fluttered your tummy with butterflies once again.
You both made your way out of the elevator to the exit, hopefully not to be delayed this time. As you walked, his hand returning to yours, you thought for a second recalling the night.
You vividly reflect on Sun gripping Freddy's arm, the uncanny smile on his face that soon dropped before stumbling backwards. How his voice box glitched before that. The damage Sun did to Monty. You grew concerned finally analyzing the memory.. It didn't make it much better recalling Monty mentioning Sun's issues not just being his anxiety and everything you've seen so far already..
Whatever happened, Sun didn't remember any of it. You were sorting through explanations in your head, but released the thoughts as you slid through the turnstiles as Sun simply stepped over them.
You hummed sadly being brought back into the reality of having to exit the Plex, leaving Sun for the night. It tore your heart to pieces, but you found some comfort in realizing you hadn't ordered a ride home yet.
You'd be able to wait with him, which neither of you minded not one bit as he cradled you next to him for the next twenty minutes. You both talked about what you would be doing tomorrow, as the Plex was closed on weekends most of the time besides special events or whatever. You had a few ideas. Some arts and crafts, some checking up on what the blackout he experienced actually was, maybe watching a movie with him, exploring the Plex.. some other things you had on your mind you didn't share with him quite yet. You just wanted it to come as quickly as possible. The thought of exiting the doors of the Plex and being away from him was agonizing.
It's about 6:22pm when your phone dings, signaling your ride being here. You look up at Sun, and he frowns knowingly. You fall into his chest and wrap your arms around him, disregarding the protest of your ribs and wrist.
He runs his hand through your hair, before slowly unwrapping your left hand from him and placing the bag in it.
He crouches down, running his thumb along your temple and over your ear. He kisses you on the head, and both your smiles return.
You grab his hand again and give it a squeeze for good measure. "..Cya tomorrow, Sunshine. I'll text you when I get home, promise."
You achingly let go, backing up a bit before he begins a wave. "We'll miss you, Sunflower, pretty pretty pretty please take care, a-and be careful!" He energetically animates his wave as your stomach sinks, heart strains, and throat bubbles wistfully. You turn, looking behind you and meeting his gaze once more before exiting the Plex entirely.
