"All right. We're now getting heated by moving onto match 3! Next, we have a soldier who has been in many battles but now he comes here fully equipped and ready to take out the competition. He is the Legendary Mercenary…Solid Snake!" Aura said as sitting there was a cardboard box before Snake emerged from it.

"It's showtime." Snake said.

"I always wonder why he uses the box. I mean even a lot of people aren't fooled by it that easily." Saki said.

"If he ever heard you, he'd tell you different." Zephyr said. "But I guess when it comes to Snake, he's used it in a variety of ways over the years to fool people. He is a master of Stealth and Misdirection."

"So, how do we decide who takes this one?" Magnamon asked.

"There is no need to deliberate. I'll take it." Mayumi said.

"One master of military grade weaponry against another, huh? This'll be quite interesting." Crusadermon said.

"My original plan was to face Daisy out of irony, but… A bout against him is just too interesting to resist." Mayumi said.

"Go get him." Kagura said.

"And his opponent. She was just a normal human going to a normal human school in Japan. But after an event, she became able to wield magic and summon weapons. She is the Mercenary Girl Warrior! Mayumi…Kirishima!" Aura said.

Mayumi steps into the arena, using her Requip Magic to change into military gear.

"Let's not keep them waiting." Snake said.

"And the location is…Shadow Moses Island!" Aura said as the two appeared on said island. "Now…fight!"

"Ladies first. Soul Fist!" Mayumi said as she launched an orb of light.

Snake pulled out his Nikita missile launcher as he fired a missile in response. The two collided as an explosion occurred.

"I can tell already this fight will be even." Snake said. "Despite not being a soldier, you must be pretty good with weapons yourself. Too bad…you aren't an explosives expert!" Snake said, tossing her something. She looked to see it was a grenade before Snake showed the pulled pin.

"Oh, cripes." Mayumi said as she got to a defense position, the bats around her forming a barrier. The grenade soon went off as it knocked her back, leaving an opening for Snake to start getting in some solid hits.

"Shadow Blade!" Mayumi said as her arm formed a bat wing and she went for an uppercut. She used her Requip Magic to bring out her sniper rifle.

"Nice gun. But I like mine better." Snake said, firing another round of missiles at her.

Mayumi takes a deep breath to pinpoint the missiles before she fires rounds of her own. Each one intercepted with a missile, blowing them up before they could even hit their targets.

"Whew… That took some pinpoint shooting to get that done." Mayumi said. "Now for my finisher. Finishing Shower!" she said as she started flying back as missiles started to come out of her wings before she brought out her rocket launcher. "Now for the big finisher!" she said as she fired a rocket right out.

"Give me some cover fire." Snake said on his comm as a gun started firing at Mayumi.

"Here come the fireworks." David said.

A series of explosions soon went off on both sides, leaving the base in ruins from the attacks.

"Whoa… Now that's what you call going out with a bang." Aoesia said.

"It wasn't just a bang. It was an all-out fireworks show." David said.

"Then who shall give the final bow, je me demande?" Le Kraken wondered as the smoke cleared from the area, revealing Mayumi still standing while Snake was slumped against a broken piece of wall.

"Whoa! Now this is how a fight should be! Our survivor is Mayumi who wins over Snake!" Aura said.

"Guess that answers your question, Kraken." Al said.

"Heheh, that it does." the pirate chuckled.

"You…did good…kid." Snake said weakly as he was carried off to the infirmary.

"Heh… Thanks. That means a lot." Mayumi said as she walked along to the infirmary herself.

"That was quite the fight. And it was great to see Snake in action." Hope said. "Having everyone from all across Smash Bros history be here, including the newcomers, is a real treat."

"Even fighters who were gone a long time. You know, I hope that someday there will be a sixth tournament in the future." Ace said.

"It'll be quite a while before that happens, I'm sure." David said.

"I'm sure it'll be worth the wait." Ace smiled. "But for now, we'll continue enjoying this one."
