Sun is taken aback by how close you are to him, a smug grin plastering your pretty little face as he stares down at you. You were holding Moon's hand as he transformed into Sun right in front of you, but now even after having let go, you were gazing up into his nervous little eyes, inches away from him.
Sun stumbles backward, his smile faltering as he sinks even lower. His hands cling to his chest, still fidgeting after the flinch away from you.
"A-ah, well.. Nonono, no thoughts here! Nope! Moon was just.. just b-being Moon! Yes.. silly Moon, very very silly.."
He's darting his eyes all around you once again, only observing your face for less than a second before he can't stand to look any longer out of obvious embarrassment. His face changes hue, a slightly warmer yellow just barely being visible.
Your grin torments him. "Mhm.. yeah, I'm sure Moon was definitely just fibbing a bit, right? That little blush on your face definitely doesn't mean you could see any of what happened earlier, I'm sure."
You regret teasing him a little as he crouches down even lower, covering his face with his hands. The whirring of fans become more and more audible as you close the distance between you two.
"..Hey.. I'm messing around, you're okay Sunshine.." You gently reach for a ray, him practically sitting on the floor now - presenting a rare occurrence of him being below you for once.
He flinches as you make contact, buried in his hands even further now.
"..Are.. are you okay?"
He whines. "..You're making me overheeeat, Sunflower.. Sososososo cruel.."
He was incredibly warm, just as always in these circumstances. It's odd however given how.. confident he was in the infirmary.
"..Awh, I'm sorry bud. Here.. can I touch you?" Your hand hovers above his ray as he hesitantly uncovers his face and looks up at you.
A hum grows from his voicebox as he pouts. "..Mmmmh.. O-okay. As.. as long as you're not making fun of meEEE-" Your fingers suddenly slide down a silicone-like ray.
You smile warmly. "..I'm sorry, you're just.. a bit cute, Sunny. You're okay." You wrap your other arm around his head, pulling him to your chest as you play with a ray while he practically vibrates. Your short giggle draws a pout from him as he hides further into you.
Your heart jumps and he definitely hears the beats increasing in pace.
"..I am curious to what Moon meant though.. I mean.. I have a pretty good idea, but.. we'll save that for later." Your fingers play with each ray before moving on to the next, making your way down the side of his faceplate as he warms in your hold, the occasional shudder and whine presenting itself when you hit one of the many sweet spots accompanying the sensitive sunrays.
You pull away suddenly, eliciting another sound of protest before cupping his large face in both of your hands between rays.
He stares at you, wide eyes studying your expression, nervous to whatever you're planning in his oh so vulnerable state.
"..And I'm sure you're just a little jelly of Moon too. If you want a kiss.. I'm right here." Your blush is dueling his now over intensity.
He wasn't the only one flustered to the core in this situation, you were just a little more direct with what you wanted right now; to take care of him. Regardless, your tummy and heart jump simultaneously as he suddenly grabs you, pushing you to the balcony's floor while he hangs over top, enveloping your entire body under his. You hold in a wince.
You watch in awe as his expression turns from flustered to frustrated, your hair splayed out behind you, him gently holding your wrists just enough to not hurt but still pinning them to the ground.
"..You're.. sososo cruel.. little f-flower.. sooooooooo cruel.." His rays spin violently as he leans in closer overtop of you, studying a grin that shouldn't be there.
"..Mmh, and what are you gonna do about it?"
His fans spin loudly, matching the low hum inching closer and closer to you before it dies down as his tongue slips out of his mouth.
"Oooh, I'm going to mark you just like Moon did, little Sunflower~."
He looks to your neck, likely to the bite mark you assume Moon made. You're only given a second to discern that Moon actually gave you a visible mark on your neck besides the one he made choking you out the other night.
He lunges to your throat, retracting all the rays that would've prevented him from reaching it. The hand gently covering one of your wrists reaches up to tilt your head back for easier access given his large faceplate.
The squeak escaping you in response only entices him further, clamping down on your lower neck, just above the shoulder, sending goosebumps throughout your body as your breathing suddenly ceases.
His teeth grind against your skin, and you can feel his tongue exploring between them. He had canines, and he was definitely using them. You finally pull in a sharp breath only to let out more involuntary noises which only encourage him to bite harder.
It.. hurts, and you're almost ashamed to say that it hurts in a good way - it feels strangely good. It tickles almost, but you don't want to struggle away from him - only shudder compliantly. He wraps around a muscle and clamps down, causing your chest to tighten knowing you'll be sore for days after this. Your knuckles whiten at his sudden aggression, you couldn't ever have expected this from him given how gentle he was with you in the infirmary. Not that you didn't like it.
He finally pulls back after parting your collar and sliding his teeth down your shoulder, your head falling to the floor from where he held it in his hand to taste as much as you as possible. He savors your pitiful expression looking up at him, your chest rising and falling as your mouth is parted to ease breathing.
Your neck is cool and wet, yet burning hot for obvious reasons.
His rays extended again to gyrate while he indulges in the mess he made. He didn't wanna clean this one up, at least not entirely.
Finally giving in to the messy saliva spread across your neck and shoulder after just a while longer to savor it, he pulls out a cloth from one of his pockets, lightly cleaning you up as you catch your breath.
Your eyes finally unhood to refocus and stare up at him over you.
"..I.. hope that.. made it up to you." You mutter out, his smile finally returning.
"Mhmmm, oh yes, I'm very very very satisfied, Sunflower. Mmmmhm, I think Moon might have some catching up to do~" He pockets the cloth before standing back upright on the balcony.
Still splayed out on the floor, you reach for the mark he just gave you, feeling it as it burns slightly to your touch. Pulling your hand back to observe it - yeah, that's definitely a little blood. Hopefully it doesn't need bandages or anything. Maybe the pain meds are just doing their thing.
You find out quickly that even those advanced little pills have their limitations as you try to sit up, the only thing it resulting in being a sharp wince - your ribs stinging from the movement.
Sun instantly shifts forward closer to you, wrapping his hand behind your back before setting you up perfectly to avoid any discomfort.
"Ah, maybe I was a little itsie bitsie bit too rough.. Are.. are you okay, Sunflower..?" He crouches down to you, inspecting your body and then your face for any expression that'll tell him before you get the chance to verbally. A faint smile confirms it for him before you speak.
"Yeah, I'm fine Sunny." You giggle. "Could you get my bag though? Kinda knocked it off my shoulder there, silly.."
Before you knew it, he had hopped behind you in a yellow blur, picking up your things and placing them in the bag before reappearing on the opposite side he left from, grabbing your hand and wrapping the bag's strap over it. "Aaaaall better! Oh - almost, hold still for a second, okay Sunbite?"
You pause from retrieving your phone to squint and smile at him as he removes the cloth once more, adjusting and then patting down your neck as you resume to open the camera app.
Sun pulls away and you spot a little blood on the rag. "..Wow.. you really got me good." You aim the phone to observe your neck. "..Oh.. you got me really good.. hope you're proud."
You really hoped it won't be that noticeable. You start heating up realizing how easy it actually is to see and how obvious it is to discern where it might've come from. "..Yeah.. I really hope this fades, at least a little."
Sun tilts his head before smiling and looking right into your eyes, shameless. "Mmh, I don't."
You sharply exhale while rolling your eyes at him before turning around and pressing your back into his chest. Your raise up a peace sign with your fingers, making sure the bruise and him are in the shot, before clicking the capture button.
"There, now it's immortalized. Happy?"
"Ooooh, as long as you get it to me, Sunflower~" He plays with his hands in anticipation for the physical photo you're sure to bring him.
"..Alright, weirdo, we should get going. Gotta work on.. that asshole." You sulk before walking a few steps towards the edge, Sun making sure to follow you closely.
"Language."
You don't have time to scoff before it's overtaken by a gasp when he suddenly grabs you under the arms and floats down to the padded floor below.
You two walked out the main doors of the Daycare, all the way to the back. Sun as always paced his steps to make sure he didn't leave you behind.
You checked your FazWatch for any updates from Wendy, as you definitely were gonna be a little late. You absolutely hope she doesn't notice, that little 'I'm really sorry to bother you right now' followed by a winky face wasn't very casual you don't think. Gosh you hope she's not checking the cameras or anything.. well.. you guess someone has to be monitoring you to make sure you're doing your job (you were! ..sorta). Ugh. Might as well tell the whole world you're kissing robots.
You two were up the stairs and exiting the Daycare gate entrance when you were done ruminating over Wendy's text message.
To the right are the doors to the service tunnels, and to the left would lead to the building's main entrance. You both made your way to the right before Sun paced forward to open the door for you.
"Oh how polite of you, thank you Sunny." You grin at his animated bow. You really liked how just about everything he did was exaggerated and animated. It was cute.
You two walked through a labyrinth to actually reach the main tunnels, fluorescent lights buzzing above you as beams lined the walls and ceiling. Sun had to crouch a little under each one.
"..So, Sunny. I hate to bring this up again, but.. with Monty.. last night. Have.. have you ever blacked out before?" You hated to latch onto this passing thought and potentially make Sun uncomfortable, but it was something you'd have to bring up sooner or later.
He didn't respond for an uncomfortable amount of time, and noticing the lack of bells jingling, you looked back to him.
He was frozen a few feet away from you, having ceased his stride. He wasn't even looking at you, just into blank space.
"..Sunny?" You cautiously approached him.
His head suddenly snapped to you, causing you to jolt backwards a step in response.
"O-oh, Sunflower.. s-sorry.. I.. just.." He collected himself and crouched towards you, making sure you're okay.
"I.. Nonono.. nothing like that before.. It's.. it's all okay! Aaaall good.."
He was horrible at lying, and only grew more nervous as your expression painted with doubt.
"..Sunshine, we gotta talk about this eventually. It could be a real issue, and I wanna help you in any way that I can." You stepped forward towards him, reaching up to press your palm upside-down against his face, fingers rubbing at the lower rays.
He fell into your grasp, seemingly melting as his arms relaxed and eyes shut. He hummed as you detensed him.
"..We.. don't have to talk about it now, but it is something I wanna address soon. Really soon. I'm.. not gonna lie, it was kinda scary seeing you like that. You.. if that was you.. you almost hurt Freddy." You reached to hold his hand with your spare one.
"..I'm glad you protected me.. but.. I'm not sure you blacking out and not remembering a thing is necessarily okay. Are you sure this hasn't happened in the past..? Nothing bad came from it..?" Each of your hands soothe whatever is in their respective grasp.
He just pouts and hums, hesitantly relieving himself from your ever so comforting touch.
He looks away from you, avoiding eye contact. "..No.. nonono.. it's all okay.. nothing bad has happened.. nono.." He fidgets with his hands, crouched down, reserved. You wonder if it's hardwired into him to be horrible at lying.
You reluctantly approach more directly with him. "..Alright.. I know you're lying Sunshine, you don't have to talk to me about it now, but it does upset me that you're not telling me the truth. I wanna help you, you know I do." You sigh as his expression devolves somehow even more pitiful.
"..Okay, c'mon. We're already running late as it is." You reach for his hand, waiting for him to take it. He finally looks into your eyes and then to your hand, reaching for it gently before closing around it and walking forward with you.
You're both walking down the hallway, hands together, halfway there with just a couple more turns which will lead into Parts and Service. You finally break the awkward silence, missing his voice.
"..I'm.. sorry we didn't get to do much today, kinda wanted you to show me the rest of the Plex, that would've been fun.. I.. don't mind what we did do though.. sorry Monty came up, Sunshine." You look up to him, hoping for a response.
He looks down at you, a faint smile finally reappearing on his face.
"..Mmh, ah, w-well.. We'll definitely give you a tour sometime, Sunflower, don't you worry one bit!"
You smile with him, you can't help it hearing his voice again.
"Oh! And you two really really have to get me some more stickers and pleeease a pair of those plushies of you two! I'd absolutely adore them to take home, do they sell them!?" Your eyes glow as you walk backward in front of him, looking up into his pretty blue ones adoringly.
"Welllllllll.." He draws out, reaching into the pockets of his baggy pants for something. He pulls out a few stickers before leaning forward and dropping them into your bag. "You're gonna run us dry if you keep this up, silly. Aaaand.. no, unfortunately they do not sell the plushies anymore.." He sulks down expressively, before piping up once more. "But! We have a few spares we would be more than happy to give to you, Sunflower!"
You take his hand and squeeze it until your own hurt. Gosh you were banged up. "Ah, oh gosh, you're amazing. I can't wait, maaaaybe I can take them home tonight!? It'd be a decent substitute to cuddle with instead of my shark and Mimi." You giggle as you press into his side, you both continuing to walk down the hallway.
He perks up, head tilted to the side looking down at you. "You.. you.. have a shark!? Y-you cuddle the shark!? What!? Sunflower, nonono that's.. oh gosh that's dangerous, what are you talking about!?" He crouches down, staring into your eyes with the most concerned expression you've ever seen, on a robot of all things.
"..Oh" You laugh. He anxiously waits for you to recover. "It.. it's a stuffed animal, Sunny, don't worry. Just a little bigger than the ones Moon brings out for the kids during naptime.
He sinks in relief. "O-oh.. of course. Nonono, not good to be cuddling a real shark, nono.. Kitty and little plushies of us will have to do, yes.." He pauses staring into space blankly for just less than a second. "A-and Moon said he very much agrees."
You smile after a short giggle, looking to the ground. "Mmh.. the real thing would be better I think. N-not the shark, I mean." His head jolts to you until you clarify you did not mean the shark.
"Ah, well.. we could always have a slumber party! Yesyes.. that'd be veryveryvery fun! Oh can we can we can we!?" He's holding your hand with both of us, crouched looking down at you in anticipation for your response while you both slowly make your way forward.
"Hm, well.. maybe sometime. I don't think tonight though bud, sorry. But.. I'd like that too." You lean back into him. "A lot.."
"Oh, and I'm definitely going to help make your room a lot more comfy. You two deserve the world, and I'm gonna try my best to give it to ya."
He scoffs playfully. "Sunflower! You.. you've already made it sososososo much better with th- the gifts! A-and the pictures! Oh gosh, we could stay there forever with them, it makes me sososososo happy!"
Your grin hasn't left your face in a while, however it's now accompanied by a light blush. "Oh.. well.. thank you guys, I'm super glad I could do that for you, but I'm not gonna stop there. Promise."
He bends down to be closer to you. "Oh.. starbeam.. how are you sososo wonderful to us.. soso silly.. We.. we don't deserve you one bit, nono.."
You stop in your tracks before turning to him. "Sunny."
You cup his face in your hands at the opportunity while he's bent down. "You and Moon mean the world to me. Yeah, might be silly of me to get so attached after a few days, but you already mean so much to me. I promise. There's no one I wanna be with more than you two."
You observe his face, shock being the only expression you can decipher before turning away slowly, continuing your journey to Parts and Service, his hand in yours once more.
His fans whir and voice box stutters after recollecting himself from the combination of your pretty little face and words reassuring him that everything will be okay. It might finally be okay. "O-oh.. Sunflower.. Mmmmmh.."
He whines as you giggle. "So."
His eyes open slowly as he finally recovers from the display you put on.
"..Now.. I'm kinda curious, what would happen if I took a Sundrop and a Moondrop at the same time. Doesn't the Sundrop have like, caffeine? So the Moondrop must contain melatonin or something right? Can't say I've ever drank a Monster and taken some melatonin before but I think it'd be fun to try out."
He expressively holds the hand you're not holding to his side, a playfully stern look plastering his face. "Uh! Nonono! You are not going to be doing that, absolutely not. Against the rules! Definitely not good for you, I'm sure of it!"
"Uh huh, so just out of curiosity, where do you keep the candies?" You hide your smile from him, unsuccessfully.
He points a finger at you. "Nope! Not telling you! You're a naughty little rulebreaker! Absolutely not! Nuh-uh!"
"Mhm, I wonder if you keep them on you. Guess I'll just have to explore you to find out. Hope you're not ticklish." You laugh as you turn to reach your other hand onto his tummy, pressing playfully in spots you'd think would evoke a response.
Oh were you right.
Sun lets out a yelp at suddenly bumps the top of his head into the beam above him.
"Oh shit, Sunny are you okay?" You stop to inspect for any damage, and grow distressed when two sunrays that are supposed to be there are missing. Sun is holding his head, expressing being dizzy like robots can even get dizzy.. can they?
"Hey hey, look at me bud, are you alright? Sunny, seriously, where are your rays?" You hold him by his sides in a frantic attempt to stabilize him before he suddenly holds still and looks down at you.
The two missing rays suddenly pop up out of his faceplate. Of course.
"..Wow.. okay. That was messed up. I was really worried." You pout before removing your hands from his sides and crossing your arms.
"Mhmmmmmmm." He animates his hands on his sides, leaning forwards to you in a scolding pose. "Maybe you'll think twice next time about so suddenly trying to tickle somebody!"
You roll your eyes and turn to continue walking, catching your breath from the ordeal that you were genuinely worried over. "Yeah, sure, well. At least I know you're probably actually ticklish now." You look back at him for a second with a smile as he follows.
You two have joined hands again and are a couple meters away from what you think is the last turn to the final stretch that'll lead to parts and service. You stop as two people suddenly round the corner in front of you.
You guess there would be a couple of workers still here, probably should let go of Sun's hand before they see you two. You could chalk it up to just guiding him or something, but it's kinda already too late as they're both staring you down. Also, they're not workers.
Sun suddenly uses his other hand to expressively wave as much as possible in the hallway that's a little too small for him. "Oh! Hello friends!"
At least he seems excited.
The two robots look like.. a chicken and a wolf. Yeah. Chica and Roxy you're guessing. A white colored bird dressed in pink attire with hot pink and green leopard print calves. A little bow sits atop or head, and you can faintly make out a friendly little smile. Roxy however is a little less amused, besides her disinterested expression, she's adorned in purple zebra print on her forearms and calves. Her outfit is a pretty red, somewhat of a metal-like vibe to it, not just physically - but the genre you mean - the spiky cuffs and collar kinda reinforce your point. Observing her gray hair with a green little center piece, it starts to wobble before you realize they're finally approaching you after freezing for a few seconds.
Oh gosh, they're approaching you. Probably should've released Sun's hand by now. Thankfully Sun has done that for you, taking the lead to approach them, still gesturing a friendly wave.
Roxy isn't really amused and seems kinda averse to Sun approaching them while you tag along with him, shortly behind. Chica however is expressing an actual smile somehow with her beak, waving back to him. Oh if only you could dig into their robotic mysteries as well, for now however you're way more than satisfied with Sun and Moon.
Sun finally reaches them and rests his hands on his knees, crouching down to their height, faceplate spinning slightly along with his rays gyrating in the opposite direction.
Roxy reserves herself while Chica greets him. "Hah, hiya Sundrop. We were just checking up on Monty, aaaare you going in that direction too!? You're never really out of the Daycare though!"
Roxy finally taps Chica on the shoulder to look over to you finally approaching behind Sun, dwarfed by his height. You hadn't really noticed yet, but Roxy was somewhat shielding Chica from Sun with an arm slightly in front of her.
The animatronic suddenly cups her own cheeks, crouching down a little as all the robots in this Plex seem to be taller than you of course. "Oh my! Well aren't you a cute little technician, you must be going to work on Monty, right? Oh we haven't seen you yet now have we? Well! I'm Chica, and this here is Roxy!" She gestures brightly to the wolf accompanying her.
You smile as Sun wobbles back and forth next to you. "Ah, well. Nice to meet you both! I've only really met Freddy and.. Monty.. so far. O-oh, and of course Sun and Moon." You look up to him for a second as he observes the interaction gleefully.
Roxy finally speaks up after a low growl you barely notice. "Uh, yeah. Monty. You two had quite the.. argument.. last night, huh?" She crosses her arms, stepping forward slightly in front of Chica.
Your smile falters a little. "Y-yeah, but.. it's all good now. I'm actually going to work on Monty now as Chica mentioned.."
She sneers down at you. "Uh huh. Just try not to punch him this time, alright? Could break your little bones, and thankfully.. Sundrop here got there before Monty could do anymore damage.."
There's an awkward pause as she squints to Sun and he ceases his movement for a second before beginning to fidget with his hands working up a response.
"O-oh, uhm, y-yes, friend! I'm.. very very sorry, but Monty wasn't playing very very nice, nonono.." He backs up a bit to give some space between everyone.
Roxy looks back to you. Chica seems reserved but worried given the situation, obviously sensing the tension.
"What did he even do to get you worked up like that? You punched a robot. Metal. Seriously?" She tilts her head like she's genuinely curious and not just being mean.
You're silent until Roxy rolls her eyes at your lack of response. She leans forward, and you ponder backing up before she speaks up again.
"Maybe he was onto something. Maybe you're just dumb." She looks back up to Sun who's preparing to interject given how he's standing a little taller over her, a forced smile painting his face.
He slowly lifts his arms up, and plants one hand on your shoulder, before position himself behind you and setting his other hand on the next.
You try and fight the blush creeping it's way up your chest and neck, finding it's place in your cheeks. Of course you fail, and it's just a matter of time before they notice.
"Mmh, now now, friend. Let's all play nice now, no need for such hurtful words. You do know what happens when you disrespect employees, right? Monty should've told you, or.. was he.. unable to..?" His smile widens as his faceplate turns his expression sideways above you. He towers over everyone, staring down at the wolf in front of you both.
Roxy falters backwards, snarling at Sun who's practically covering you as he leans forward towards her. Chica makes herself known in attempt to diffuse the situation.
"Ooookay, that's enough now guys, be nice, please. Our little engineer friend here has had enough action this weekend." She looks to you and gives an apologetic frown.
"Whatever." Roxy mumbles. "Just, try not to get bitten, alright?" She leans forward before taking a step to the right of you presumably to pass, grabbing Chica's hand in the process, bringing her with.
She stops for a second and looks somewhere below where your eyes are, and smirks. "Oh." She looks up to Sun, still in a menacing stance observing the two, his hands still on your shoulder encompassing you whole.
She reaches your eyes once more, Chica following her gaze and continuing the trail of information Roxy is taking in
"..Looks like you already have been."
You reach your hand to your neck to cover it as you avert your eyes from both of the robots that have begun to finally leave. You hear whispering behind you as Sun finally loosens his grip.
"Ugh." Your hand drops and you relax back into Sun, him wrapping his arms around your chest.
"Mmh, I'm.. sorry Sunbite, Roxy was veryvery not nice, nono.. I.. I think that's just how she is.." He releases you before rotating his head back to watch the two turning a corner, out of sight.
"Eh, It's okay, Sunny. Not really getting along too well with anyone else, just my luck." You take his hand again confirming that the two animatronics are gone and can't judge you anymore.
Sun brightens at your touch. "Oh, don't you worry, I'm sure they're just.. reserved.. Chica seemed to be nice though, yesyes! You're veryvery wonderful, Sunflower. If Roxy can't see that, then I guess her eyes aren't all that advanced afterall!"
"Advanced? What's up with her eyes?" You take the first step forward as Sun follows.
"Oh! She has x-ray vision I'm pretty pretty sure, yes!"
"Huh, that's definitely not worrying." You really hope she hasn't been near the Daycare.. or infirmary in the past few days..
You're almost to the Parts and Service doors before recalling how Sun.. protected you. "Hey, Sunshine? What'd you.. what'd you mean by Monty not being able to tell Chica and Roxy something?"
Sun hesitates before answering. "..Huh? Oh.. Uhm.. N-nothing, just.. maybe he's a little hesitant, yes.. I was just trying to get them to play nice is all.."
Bad liar. "Uh huh."
You open the doors to Parts and Service, holding it open for Sun and you mimic his bow from earlier. He ducks under before thanking you politely.
The room is as grim as you left it, this time, in the capsule almost ten meters in front of the main door, there lies a chunk of green metal strapped to a chair, brightly lit by the lights inside pouring out through the windows.
Fluorescent lights above hum just as the ones outside did, the only difference is them being a little brighter and a little larger. You take a breath and collect yourself before continuing, you weren't looking forward to this, but at least you had Sun.
"..Alright, let's see what we're working with." You proceed forward.
You operate the control panel outside of the capsule, finding the button to open the doors and hitting it. With a loud clang, the doors whirr to life as they slide open. It makes you jump a little, and you have to remind yourself that Sun is right next to you, it'll be fine.
Sun seems to notice your nervousness, before you can enter, he places a hand on your shoulder.
"..Hey, Sunflower, it'll be okay. I'm here, a-and didn't Wendy say you didn't have to work on him if you don't want to..? It's okay if you don't want to!" His warm smile is infectious, and you feel better already.
"Ah, I.. I think I'll be fine. You definitely help, Sunshine." You reach up to his hand on your shoulder and rub it before stepping forward into the capsule and over the small gap.
Sun hesitantly ducks in, hands clasped. His will to protect you is greater than his fear of this room.
You peer over at Monty. He doesn't look conscious, maybe his battery ran out. He's strapped to the chair, so he really has nowhere to go. Observing the animatronic, besides the lack of an arm, and it being positioned on a cart on the other side of you, his throat looks pretty messed up too.
You inch forward for a closer look.
You don't remember Sun doing that last night, even though it was a bit of a haze, you're pretty sure he just swiped at his arm.
His entire throat is a mangle of wires and metal. Whatever was supposed to be in the cavity isn't there anymore. Maybe he didn't actually run out of battery, it looks like those were some pretty vital wires and tubes.
You're going to probably have to detach the entire neckpiece and replace it manually. Luckily these animatronics are at least somewhat interchangeable - wires and parts being linked at certain points to make repairing easier, and thank fuck for that cause you'd be screwed otherwise. The arm is an easy fix, you even think there's an automatic process for it that the machine will do.
Inspecting further, you notice the cavity is where the voice box for Monty would be stored. His voice box is gone. Monty isn't able to talk. He's unable to tell them anything.
You look over to Sun, his face is painted with nervousness as his hands fidget. He averts his gaze from you just as he's been doing when he's anxious.
"Sunny."
He sulks.
"What happened?"
He whines.
You step over, inches away from him before crossing your arms and looking up to his face.
"What did you.. or Moon.. do?"
He finally looks down at you before covering his face and backing to the wall of the capsule, sinking to sit down. He looks like a puppy being scolded, and your attempts to brush away the pounds of pity piling up for him are in vain.
"Sun. I'm not mad, I just need to know what you two did. Okay?"
He whines again, your pity meter for him rising with each second.
He finally gives in, feeling your eyes burning into his exoskeleton. "..It.. it was Moon's idea! A-and.. he did it.. I.. He.. wanted to make sure Monty wouldn't hurt you again.."
You crouch down under him before reaching for his hands and parting them from his face. You look into his eyes as he observes your expression for any hint of anger. Sure, you're a little upset, but you're not mad at him.
"I'm not mad at you, Sun. And.. I'm not mad at you either, Moon. But.. you really shouldn't have done this. I'm glad you two care about me, but this isn't the right way to handle things. Okay?"
Sun sinks his head to your chest as you're both sat on the floor in front of each-other. You hesitantly rub at his rays, not really wanting to reward bad behavior, but you can't really help it.. plus.. you won't say it out loud, but Monty had it coming.
"..I've got a feeling too you didn't wanna stop Moon whatsoever either, Sunny. I am a tiny bit upset with you both, but.. I'm not gonna stop caring about you two."
You push yourself up to which Sun pouts in response as he's torn from your soothing touch.
"..Now, as punishment.."
Sun looks up to you, almost anguished. Immediately upon seeing his face, you spit out the next part of your sentence.
"Y-you're just gonna help me fix him up, okay?"
You reach out both of your hands, asking for his own. He gives you them and you attempt to pull him up, which wouldn't work if he didn't do most of the work.
He looks into your eyes, still a little remorseful given the incredibly light scolding you just gave him. "..Okay."
You smile, rubbing his hands in your own. "Alright, now.. can you get me one of his voice boxes? You know where they are, right? If you can find any modular wiring and tubes and stuff, bring a tub of those here also."
Sun perks up. "O-oh, yesyes, I can go get that!" And before you know it, he's off to collect the parts.
Monty is pretty banged up, fixing his throat however to get him online despite how much you don't want him to shit-talk seems like a good start. You go around behind him to connect a power cable into the panel on his back, which won't be able to turn him on just yet - only in preparation for when you fix up his neck.
You get to work removing the fucked up wiring Moon must've caused. You think about how much damage the robots you have a crush on are capable of given what they did to this animatronic that towers above literally everyone you've ever known. Kinda indecisive whether to feel scared or attracted given their strength. Maybe both.
All the wires and tubes are removed, and just on time, Sun arrives with a tub of electronic junk.
The messed up smaller metal bars in his neck can be replaced with a new endoskeleton, but for now, it looks likely Moon just ripped out the voice box and absolutely annihilated the outer frame of the neck. You could still likely attach the voice box well enough to work through tomorrow's performance, lasting until later that night when further repairs can be completed.
You pop your knuckles as Sun stands proud next to you, dropping the box suddenly as he hears the crack.
It makes you jump, and you look to him startled. "Wha-"
"O-oh sososo sorry Sunflower, I.. that always makes me a bit nervous.." He forces a short giggle out.
You tilt your head slightly. "The.. popping?"
He nods his head as he looks somewhat ashamed.
"Oh.. Sunny, you're fine.. Why does it bother you though..?" You lower yourself to your knees and begin sifting through wires and electronics, gathering the right ones you need including the new voice box with a little piece of tape over it that reads "Montgomery Gator".
Sun holds his hands close to his chest. "O-oh.. well.. it sounds like you broke something.. a-and that scares me."
You look up to him, it's almost like you're gonna break your neck being this far below him, which he definitely wouldn't like. "Oh, you poor thing. It's okay. You know it's just like.. bubbles or fluid or something popping, definitely not harmful. Or at least that's what I've read on Google.. I dunno, I'm an engineer and programmer. Humans aren't my specialty I guess."
Sun hums. "..Oh.. Hm.. o-okay.. if you say so Sunflower.."
You giggle up at him before returning to gathering the right parts out of the messy little tub he brought you. Sun makes sure to save all the cute little expressions you give him.
It's been about half an hour connecting up the wiring and avoiding being electrocuted. The power isn't on, but you swear there were sparks regardless. You're just about ready to at least see if Monty boots on, you'll fix the arm and exterior plating later.
"Alright Sunny, you can press it now."
Sun lights up with a beaming smile, hitting the big red button quickly to your instruction."
You stand back even though Monty is strapped down.
The robot tenses, a loud whirring from the machine around you flooding power into him. It's like he's being electrocuted the way he tenses up, well, he kinda is.
You wait a few seconds after he relaxes, pretty sure you did everything right. Of course as soon as you make a move, beginning to doubt it was actually a success, he jolts in the restraints to life as a growl grows from his shiny new voicebox.
You exhale the breath you were holding, and Sun hurries in to protect you if you needed it.
"..Uh.. hey, Monty. Morning." You walk over to the opposite side of the chair, pulling the cart carrying his arm away towards the door.
Monty adjusts himself and looks around. First noticing the tall yellow robots he so despises, then the source of the voice. You.
He growls. "Of course, the fucking handler revives me. Typical. They really sent you do repair me? You just don't get a break, do ya?"
Sun watches him closely. You position the cart at the doorframe.
"Hey Sunny, can you go get me one of Monty's arms if you can find one? I'll be alright, I promise." You squeeze his hand while he stares down at Monty, finally turning to you, taking in your smile he just can't resist.
"..Okay.." He hesitantly releases your hands and ducks under the frame making his way to the spare parts portion of the room.
Monty pipes up once more. "Hah, holy shit I was right. He does have you right under his thumb, oh you poor little thing."
You groan. "Dude, please. Don't make this harder than it has to be. I'm just trying to fix you up."
He bellows out a low chuckle. "Hah, y'know you're cleaning up your murderbot crush's mess right?"
You cross your arms. "Yeah, he told me."
Monty pauses for a second, not really expecting you to already know. "Uh huh.."
Awkward silence as you stare each-other down.
Monty finally ends the silence. "Am I mistaken, or are those even more bruises on your neck.."
Monty pauses until his eyes widen and smile maliciously grows, coming to a conclusion you brace for.
"Oh.. gosh, don't tell me he gave you a fuckin' hickey." He laughs once again, your blush rising as much as your blood is boiling.
"God, I really shouldn't have bothered." You scoff, looking to the floor.
"Uh huh, well, get used to it. At least when you're in trouble again he'll black out and probably not just slice an arm off like the last few times." His grin widens as he notices you perk up towards him with an inquisitive expression.
"Oh, you don't know? Of course you don't. You do know that wasn't Sun at least, right? I'm sure you could tell. It's pretty fuckin' obvious, I'm surprised you haven't figured it out yet." He teases, landing blow after blow. You uncross your arms and walk forward.
"What are you on about, Montgomery?"
He growls at the name. "Do you fuckin' listen to anything anyone says around here? I told you already. Do you actually fuckin' think that Sun's faults end at just being a giddy, anxious, fucked up little trainwreck?"
You're silent, waiting for him to continue.
"He's broken. Hah, how 'bout I just show you? Hey, murderbot!"
Sun is standing behind you, holding the arm. The jingling you're just now noticing the lack of signals him just getting here.
You turn slowly. "Oh.. Sunny.. just put the broken one on the bottom and set the new one in it's place." You look to him nervously. He performs the command without taking an eye off the gator.
Monty growls. "Huh, where to begin.."
Sun tenses as he stands straight, finished relocating the arms.
"Be quiet."
His rays jolt back and forth, gyrating spastically as he stares at Monty.
You grab his hand. "Oookay Sun. Sunshine. Let's go. We've done enough."
Monty pouts sarcastically. "Awh, and with the fun just getting started? Hey, handler, why don't you ask your crush what happens when he blacks out? What has happened."
Monty bellows deeply as you attempt to walk away with Sun, him not budging. "Why don't you ask him what the fuck happened to Foxy. To Bonnie. I'm sure you're curious. C'mon, what harm could it do? It's not like I'm right or anything."
Monty's laughing grows louder as he observes Sun devolving. You look up to him as he squeezes your hand. "Sunny?"
Sun's rays are violently shaking, protruding back and forth within his faceplate. His eyes are blank as he begins to vibrate.
He squeezes your hand harder. It hurts. "Sun, you're hurting me.. m-my hand.."
You pull yourself free and almost fall backwards into the door frame before regaining your footing. You watch, eyes wide as his hand once clasping down onto your own squeezes tighter and tighter.
Monty's teeth bare as he meets Sun's gaze.
"C'mon Sunny, I don't give a shit if Moon did it. Ya took away Avery, ya took away my friends. One way or another, yours is getting hurt too. How horrible would it be if ya woke up with them torn to pieces in your homicidal wake like poor little ol' Foxy?"
You're watching Sun in shock. You can't move. He's not responding.
"..Sun- Sunshine, hey, c'mon let's get you out of here. I'm here, alright?" You reach for his arm, and as soon as you make contact, it's burning hotter than you've ever felt from him before. Over the noise of Monty's ramblings and Sun's trembling, you didn't hear the horribly loud whirring of his fans.
You start to panic. "Monty, fucking stop! Please!" You beg. You're helpless here. You have no fucking idea what to do.
Monty ignores you. It's like you're not even there. You're useless.
Monty snarls as his eyes widen in excitement, his restraints shaking. "I'll make damn sure you never get the happiness you definitely don't fucking deserve, even if I have to rip them to shreds myself. Though I have a feeling you're about to do that job for me, huh?"
You step up on a bar connected to the chair, elevating yourself to Sun's eye level. "S-sunny, please. Let's get you out of here. Y-you don't have to listen to him, w-we can leave, I.. I promise!" You're choking through tears. Everything is so loud. Monty's voice is booming and Sun is unresponsive as his body creaks and vibrates.
Sun stops for a split second, everything ceases its movement. His eyes focus on you, abruptly closing and stepping away as he grabs his face and claws into it, before he's suddenly jolting backward, hitting against the door frame, falling onto the floor outside of the capsule with a loud thud.
Monty's growl lowers, satisfied.
"Close the door."
You look back. "W-what..?"
"Close the door if you wanna live, handler."
He stares at you, everything is quiet for a second before he looks past you. Whirring fills the room once more.
You look back. following his eyes.
Sun is standing up, his face is uncanny, and you can only recognize it as what you saw strike down Monty last night and almost tear into Freddy.
It isn't Sun.
He stares at you, a smile creeping across his face. You watch as nails appear from his fingers and his faceplate rotates as he slowly hunches over in quick bursts of movement, spastically pausing after each jolt.
Your heart drops as he speaks.

You dive for the little red button to the left of the open doors, Sun only a few feet in front of you as he digs his foot into the concrete and lunges.
You hit the button and collide with the metal wall, the ringing from both you and Sun colliding with the metal cylinder vibrates the whole structure.
Monty laughs sadistically. "Oh.. handler. Ya should've listened when you had the chance."
Sun slowly rises, a few sunrays bent as the silicone covering his face is torn to expose wiring and moving pieces underneath. You see every bit of circuitry and artificial muscle-like machinery as his smile contorts, rising above the glass as he peers in.
His hand gradually reels back, clasping his fingers into a fist, slamming it into the glass window. Small cracks form at the point of contact.
You can't breathe, you're so fucking weak. Your legs feel like jelly trying to stand and your heart is beating in your ears accompanying rising ringing. Everything is wrong.
"Handler.. turn off the lights."
What the fuck was he talking about? How?
"W-what? T-the.. light.. switch is..-"
His voice crackles. "Up. You can probably fuck with some wiring in the ceiling. If not, then oh well. Either way, I got what I wanted at least. Hope you're satisfied too."
He chuckles as you scramble to the chair he's strapped to, lifting a leg up onto it before stretching to the ceiling using all of your strength. Your legs barely worked.
Sun has been beating on the glass, and you're pretty sure the cracks are getting wider and increasing in number. The thumping of your heart and the pounding of Sun results in your ears ringing higher than you've ever experienced, even through the noise.
You peel off the plating loosely attached to the ceiling panel, your hands ache and your ribs burn, but you're sure the alternative will hurt worse.
..Sun wouldn't hurt you.. would he? You don't know if that's Sun anymore in the first place. All you know is that it needs to stop. The noise needs to stop. Get the lights off.
There's wires, tons of them. You don't know if this will work, you have no fucking idea. You're scared. You're terrified. Your throat is so tight, your heart hurts, you can't breathe. You're so, very weak. The tears in your eyes make it hard to see what you're grabbing at, luckily you just need to pull at wires and hope for the best.
You pull. And pull. Sparks fly.
Then glass.
A shard rips through the arm reaching into the ceiling, you feel some of the rest collide with your clothes.
You fall as he climbs through.
