"Okay…get ready for the next fight cause it is coming in hot!" Aura said. "He has fought in the less popular KOF tournaments and came out a champion a number of times. His fists are impossible to read. He is the Legendary Wolf! Terry…Bogard!" she said as Terry walked in.

"Hey, come on!" Terry said as the crowd cheered.

"It's about time Terry got his turn." Hope said.

"Well, we knew we would have to face him at some point. Didn't expect circumstances to turn out like this." Mayumi said.

"Don't worry. I have a plan in mind for this occasion." Leopardmon said. "So… Barbara, about the invitation I extended to form a team with me and David at the next King of Fighters tournament… If you're still up to it…"

"Are you sure that will work? We know a certain someone that is not going to be happy with that kind of unity." Kabuki said.

"That's a bonus, if you ask me." ZS spoke up. "'Hey, guess what? We're doing the hero gig way better than you, little miss sore loser!' That's the gist of what she'll believe this is about."

"Yeah, that might really be a big blow to her pride." David chuckled at the thought.

"So, you, Leops and Cheets should totally go for it! When the 15th King of Fighters tournament comes, form a team with you three and compete." Ethox said.

"So, Leopardmon, if you're the brains behind this KOF team formation, I assume you have a name for it?" SE asked.

"Of course. But I won't disclose it now. I'm saving it for after the fight." Leopardmon said.

"And coming down next…he is the strategist for the Royal Knights…and a bit of a talker...in leopard form. He is the Leopard Knight! Leopardmon." Aura said.

"Greetings, Terry Bogard. I have been looking forward to this bout." Leopardmon said. "It's a shame that Cheetah cannot face you officially… So, I have decided to face you in her stead."

"Enough with the honor schtick. Either ya fight or ya don't." Terry said.

(Cue- KD-0084- KOF 2000)

"And the location is…KOF Stadium!" Aura said as the two appeared in a changed stadium. "And now…fight!"

"Let's get started. Shining Laser!" Leopardmon said as he fired a ray of light. However Terry ducked under it before uppercutting Leopardmon.

"Hmm… Quite impressive." Leopardmon said before his first glowed bright. "Saint Knuckle!" he said as he went for a punch.

"Burning Knuckle!" Terry called, charging with an energy infused punch of his own as their fists collided. "Power Dunk!" he said before jumping up and landing another hit with a downward punch.

"Time for a different approach." Leopardmon said as he underwent Leopard Mode. "Vulcan Crusher!" he said as he flips and lands on the ground, causing pillars of earth to form.

Terry was flung into the air before he crashed back down. "Buster Wolf!" he said as he retaliated with a strong strike to Leopardmon's side.

Leopardmon hit the barrier at the end of the stage, causing him to revert back. "Heh. Your power is impressive to get me out of Leopard Mode. I expect nothing less from the Legendary Hungry Wolf of Southtown."

"You're pretty good too, Royal Knight." Terry said. "But I'm not just about to lie down and let you beat me!"

"Quite." Leopardmon as he got his sword out. "Now, for the big stuff. Extinction Wave!" he slashed his blade, causing a gust of air to be blown at Terry.

Terry braced against the wind as he endured the pushback as Leopardmon charged in. He saw his opportunity, smirking.

"Overheat!" Terry yelled, performing a Triple Geyser as three geysers erupted under Leopardmon, sending him upward before falling back down. "Here's the big one! Triple Wolf!" he said, landing a strike and sending him flying.

Leopardmon hit the barrier again, this time forming a crack. "Whew… Barely survived that one. I'll have to end this in one blow." he said as he got ready. "Time to finish this!" he said as he underwent Leopard Mode again. "Eroberung!" he said as he let out mines from his tail, scattering them around Terry as Leopardmon does a backflip before reverting back to normal in the air. "Now for the final blow… Black Aura Blast!" he said as he sent a purple wave of energy at one of the mines, causing them to explode. Terry was then sent flying through the barrier and landed right on the ground.

"And that is it, folks! After this amazing fight, coming out on top is the Royal Knight Leopardmon!" Aura said.

"That was a great match, Terry. I am honored to have faced you." Leopardmon said.

"Same here. You really know your stuff." Terry said as he tipped his hat with a smile. "I think KOF is going to get a bit more lively with people like you around."

"What makes you believe that?" Leopardmon asked. "I mean, a tournament like that is already on such a grand scale."

"True, true. But believe you me, that's what always makes it such a blast. I take it you already have a team ready?" Terry asked.

"As a matter of fact, I do. How did you know?" Leopardmon asked.

"I have a sense of knowing these things." Terry said as the screen came on showing the new King of Fighters logo.

"KOF XV!" a voice said when 'King of Fighters XV' came on. Soon after three panels from left to right came down as Cheetah, David and Leopardmon's images appeared in that order.

Team P.O.A. (Plan of Attack)

The audience were in loud cheers over this announcement.

"Whoa… News really does travel fast." Leopardmon said.

"And the crowd here loves it." Terry said. "Who knows what will happen at the next tournament. But I know one thing. Andy, Joe and I will be waiting for you guys there."

"I would expect nothing less. We'll be seeing you there." Leopardmon said.

"Can't wait…" Terry said.
