"Whoo hoo! It is officially day 7, meaning we are approaching the end! We've seen a number of fighters go down already but now…you get to see a whole lot of them bite the dust cause we're starting off with…a Gunner Free for all!" Vi Per said as the audience cheered. "Now…how it works is this. All weapons that can shoot from a distance such as lasers, guns, arrows…they're all allowed. Now…let us introduce our fighters! The Genius Fox! Miles Tails Prower! The Prototype! Protoman! The Maverick Hunter! Megaman X! The NetNavi! ! The Apocalypse Survivor! Vault Boy! The Forgotten RPG Character! Geno! The Marine! Doom Guy! The Powerful Robot! Ray Mk III! The Green Squid Sister! Marie! The Plug In Bot! Chibi Robo! The Musical Hound! KK Slider! The Muscle! Barret! The Smiling Skeleton! Sans! And the Inkwell Isles Brawler! Cuphead!" she said as all these gunners came out onto the arena.

"Wait…. Sans?!" Glimmer said, seeing him actually among the gunners.

"Uh, did Sans tell you guys he was on the Gunner Team?" DJ asked Team Chronicle.

"Oh yeah, he got the invite when we first arrived here." Frisk explained. "He said he wanted to keep it as a surprise for the rest of you, though."

"Well, mission accomplished." Koenig said.

"That's quite the team of shooters down there. But what's up with that one?" Vashryon said, looking to Cuphead.

"No idea. But we're not here to discuss trivia." David said.

"Right. Abby?" Zexi asked.

"Shooting Game App is already online." she said, transforming her arm into a gun.

"And we already have opponents entering! From the Neo Dimensional Heroes! The App Combat Champ! Abby Albright!" Vi Per said. "And from the Wanderers! The Outlaw! Niles! And from Spectra Force! The Danger Sniper! Mine!"

"I guess I don't mind taking a shot. With my Wispons, I probably count as a Gunner, right?" Shuichi asked.

"And from the Brave Adventurers! The Ultimate Detective! Shuichi Saihara!" Vi Per said. "Oh…and from Mythos Hearts! The Sneak and Charge Maid! CZ2128 Delta!"

"Guess we'll go next." Ethox said. "So, who wants a turn?"

"Let me go." Viktoriya offered. "I'll do you and the major proud."

"Make sure that you do, Lieutenant." Tanya ordered as Viktoriya made her way to the arena.

"And from the Fatebreakers! She is the Major's Right Wing! Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov!" Vi Per said.

"This is your chance, Axl." Ace said.

"You got it. Are you ready for this, X?" Axl asked. "Because I'm not going to hold back!"

"I wouldn't expect anything less, Axl." X said.

"From Spirit Force! The Shapeshifting Hunter! Axl!" Vi Per said.

"Okay…guess it's our turn. Decidueye!" Twilight said as she performed Burst with Decidueye.

"And from Dimensional Heroes! The Academic! Twilight Sparkle and Decidueye!" Vi Per said.

"I'm heading down there." Mukuro said.

"No arguments necessary here, you're the best suited for this out of all of us." Bow said.

"And from the Shining Hope Squad! The Ultimate Soldier! Mukuro Ikusaba!" Vi Per said.

"We're up." Eddy said. "But… do we even have any gunners on the team?"

"Not exclusively, but I use a gun, so I'll go." Mark said. "Wish me luck, everyone." he smiled as he walked into the arena.

"From Team Chronicle! The Archangel! Mark Anarchy!" Vi Per said.

"Guess it's time to put on a show." Connor said.

"And from Team Revival! The Past Glory Marksman! Connor Trav!" Vi Per said. "All that remains is to pick a fighting ground! And that is…Paper Mario!" she said as they appeared in a papery like battlefield. "Now…let the grand shootout…begin!"

As soon as the match began, what followed could only be described as bullet bedlam. Both teams started shooting their respective guns and weapons as bullets, buster shots and other associated projectiles flew everywhere.

Connor ducked behind some cover as he fanned one of his revolvers, spreading out shots to hit the enemy.

"Damn, I knew it was gonna be a warzone, but this got really epic fast." Connor said.

"Ha!" Axl said, jumping into the air and activating his Chameleon Ability as he transformed into Rafflesian and raised her staff into the air as she used Sunburst which launched multiple beams of light into the air and rained down on some of the Wild Cards.

Meanwhile, Mark was going head-to-head with Sans, the two dodging each other's shots.

"So, Wild Card in Smash! How's it feel?" Mark asked as he fired several blasts that the skeleton sidestepped.

"It feels pretty good. I'm glad they gave me… a shot." Sans replied as he leveled an arm cannon shaped like one of his Gaster Blasters.

"Ah, cause you're a gunner." Mark noted as he ducked, avoiding the shot. "Clever."

Sans chuckled. "Ah, I can already hear my bro screaming at that pun." he kept shooting his Gaster Blaster cannon. "Gotta say though, fighting like this is pretty… well, weird. Nothing like back in the Underground."

"Yeah, I guess it is kinda different." Mark agreed. "But hey, this is a competition. No need to worry about the rules of your world here. This is all for fun."

"Eh, I guess you're right." Sans said. "Old habits die hard, but I'm getting used to this whole adventuring hero team thing."

"Oh good. That makes this easier then." Mark said as he leveled his gun at Sans once more… only to quickly shoot to the left, the way the skeleton had dodged out of habit. "Old habits die hard indeed."

"What? You think I'm just gonna stand here and take it?" Sans asked.

Mark looked again and saw that Sans had moved left and backwards in the same step. "Heh, guess not. Alright, let's keep going then!" he declared as the two kept at their battle.

"Just a little…perfect." Twilight said, firing an arrow at Ray Mk III, pinning its shadow down to the ground before she took it out with the second arrow.

Shuichi was using his Lightning Wispon to hold his own against and Doom Guy.

"Never thought I'd be going up against someone like you guys. This match is quite an interesting one, I'll admit." Shuichi said.

"Agreed." said. "But that will not deter us from victory."

"Let's even the odds a bit then." Shuichi said as he used the Asteroid Wispon to make clones of himself.

The Doomguy focused on shooting them all up with his weapon while trying to weed out the real Shuichi.

"Coming at ya!" Shuichi said as he charged with his Drill Wispon. "Now, Void!" he said as he used the Void Wispon to create a Black Hole to draw Doomguy and in.

"A black hole?!" MegaMan said as the two gunners were pulled in.

"Now for the finishing blow!" Shuichi now used the Hover Wispon to emit a shockwave.

The two of them were knocked back and taken down in that instant.

"Woo! That was a nice combo, Shuichi!" Kaito shouted from the audience.

"Heh. Thanks, Kaito." Shuichi said. "(I hope you were watching, Infinite, Detective Pikachu. Because I'm not the same Danganronpa survivor you knew before.)"

"Heh… You have grown so much, kid…" Detective Pikachu said, watching from a far-off view.

"That boy…perhaps one day…we shall meet again." Infinite said watching from the shadows.

On another part of the arena, Connor and Axl were facing off against X and Cuphead.

"Well this is a bizarre stand off…least for me." Connor said dodging one of Cuphead's finger bullets. "Didn't think cups could be gunners."

"Can we get this over with soon? I got a debt to settle!" Cuphead said.

"You wanna end this fast, huh? Cmon, enjoy yourself." Connor said, tossing a flashbang, blinding Cuphead before blasting him back with his shotgun.

"Sorry, but mine and my brother's souls are on the line." Cuphead said before spinning sideways with the liquid in his cup head facing forward as it fired a gigantic water laser.

"Connor, move it!" Axl said, pulling out his Flame Burner. "Time to put that new gear system to work. Power Gear!" he said as he pulled the trigger with the Flame Burner and unleashed a much larger stream of flame that overpowered Cuphead's attack and sent him out of the arena.

"Power Gear…overheating." he said as he sparked a bit.

"Well…he was mine so…" Connor said, letting loose with his gun as he knocked X out of the arena.

"You're welcome." Axl said.

"Hey, least we're even now." Connor said. "Plus it was a good chance to use my newly upgraded gun on a robot."

"And I had the chance to finally try out the Double Gear System. So it wasn't all bad." Axl said.

Meanwhile, Mukuro was tangling with Barret and Geno as Viktoriya provided support from the sky.

"You think of yourself as the Ultimate Soldier? You gotta prove it!" Barret called, firing his gatling cannon.

"I don't need to prove I'm the Ultimate Soldier. I AM the Ultimate Soldier!" Mukuro said, firing back with her assault rifle.

"I'll be the last one standing in this battle! Then everyone will definitely remember who I am!" Geno said, trying to hit Viktoriya in the sky.

"That first part won't happen." Viktoriya stated as she fired an explosive spell at the living doll's feet, sending him flying. "But the second part… I have a feeling that you already accomplished that."

"Damn…it." Geno said, falling out of the arena.

"That fighter always seems to get overshadowed by more popular games. It's kind of sad, really." Abby said as she fired off a charge shot as she landed a hit and took out KK Slider.

"Yeah…but that's the kind of industry he's in." Mine said as Vault Boy was running right at her. "Only star in one thing in the past…and you're forgotten." she said, letting loose a powered up shot from Pumpkin and taking him out.

"Wow…that is just so sad." Niles said, firing an arrow and hitting Chibi Robo with it.

"Yes. All of these gunners are not that strong. Disappointing." Shizu said as she fired into Marie and Proto Man.

"I wouldn't say all of them…" Viktoriya pointed to where Mark and Sans were still dueling.

"So, besides Sans, I'm the last one left, huh?" Tails asked.

"Nah. I'm still here." Barret said.

"Oh right. Uh…you are?" Tails asked.

"Seriously?! I was part of Cloud's party!" Barret said.

"Yeah…gonna need more than that." Tails said.

"Why am I trying to validate myself to a two tailed fox?" Barret sighed.

"Sorry, Tails. Nothing personal." Shuichi said.

"What? Why would it be…Whoa!" Tails said as Shuichi sent the fox flying.

"Whoa…hate to be that…" Barret said as Mukuro handed him something before seeing it was a grenade. "Ah dammit." he said before it exploded and sent him flying.

"Alright, Mark. Everyone else is cleared out." Shuichi called to him.

"Good to know, Shuichi!" Mark called back before turning to Sans. "Looks like you're the last gunner standing. You wanna postbone this fight and call it a day?"

"Hmm… yeah, I've got my fill for this tournament." Sans said, coming to a stop. "You guys won this round… By using up all of yours, of course."

Mark and Sans snickered while the rest of the reps just groaned at the pun.

"What a disappointing end. But if Sans is forfeiting…then the winners of this battle are…the Hero Gunner Team!" Vi Per said. "Also…we're putting a ban on all bad puns."

"Still, fighting all of those gunners sure took a lot of work." Shuichi said.

"Gunfights aren't so simple as fighting with fists or swords. It's a bit more difficult.' Connor said.

"It was exciting though." Axl added.

"Yup. It sure was." Connor said. "And it was only just the opener. There are still plenty more fights to come today."

"That's right…so let's look forward to it." Abby said.
